I stayed in Room 803 corner room facing the main road The front desk staff was nice and attentive They provided me with suggestions for breakfast, lunch and dinner

The hotel smelled clean the entire time I stayed there The staff was constantly cleaning I LOVED IT!! The room was on the smaller side, but the bathroom more than made up for it I did not have any issues with the hot water I traveled with my 6-year-old son and the only complaint I’d have was the noise (planes, cars, normal sounds you get staying downtown), which isn’t the hotel’s fault Yes, there is a residence next door, but I never felt unsafe, again traveling with my son alone We walked to nearby restaurants, we walked back to the hotel from a Miami Heat game and at no point did I not feel safe Stay here and enjoy yourself!

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a place They compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in this area

I’ve been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few days you definitely won’t be disappointedEveryone at the front desk was very kind with us, especially Isabella she was very sweet and helpful the room was very nice and clean, the buffet breakfast A M A Z I N G so much variety, and the location is very near to everything The only little detail I wasn´t crazy about was the glass wall in the bathroom, you don´t want anybody watching you poop, even though if is your partner!, besides that detail everything was perfect

Rob

My wife and I stayed one night before going on our honeymoon cruise the next day Lady at the front was very nice and let us check in early, more happened that I don’t want to say because I’m not sure if she was allowed to do it It was unexpected but also very appreciated, as for the room we stayed in it was clean, had a great view, and the bed was super comfortable

Overall it was a great experience and when we visit Miami again we will definitely be staying here!

Older hotel but I believe they are in the process of renovations Lighting in the rooms need to be updated and brighter especially in the bathroom and entry hallway and closet Although I could see brighter lights would have been better

Also, it would be nice if they cleaned the windows mine were rather dirty The customer service was excellent Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful No matter the time or day front desk was willing and able to engage Great job people!!!

I personally went to the Spa to book a massage for my wife and the attendant looked at her schedule and booked it for 4 pm along with my credit card info About 2 hours later we find out from the attendant that they could not honor our appointment because the masseuse scheduled to do it left to go to a “sister property” They offered to change the reservation for the following day but we would be leaving by then

I explained our displeasure with this and asked why we were not told about this when we booked it the response we received is that their scheduling system does not let them know when the masseuse is scheduled elsewhere! I am completely flabbergasted by this response and cannot help but wonder how a hotel with such a reputation to uphold could run such and AMATEUR operation? Somehow we are considered lesser clients than the sister hotel that we were left for When I asked to speak to the manager we were told by the attendant that he would email us and they also gave us his email to contact him As of now, we have received no contact email from him or any other communication Please understand that I am writing this with no prejudice of this location and no hidden agenda This is totally unacceptable behavior for a place of this category and they need to be called out on this I hope this helps others who are trying to book the same spa Beware!

The room/suite is old and dated ! Very old fashioned and run down … the bar super quiet and bad drinks ; tonight the server told me they have nothing but Chardonnay which I don’t drink and later the other waiter says that’s not true, I got my glass of yummy wine but what a zoo! The pool is not appealing at all in a roof top with fake grass !The bathroom doesn’t even have towel hooks or cabinets to put your clothes away in a suite ! Won’t be back

Such a beautiful hotel My fiancé and I booked this hotel a night before our cruise and it was such an amazing stay and bonus to our trip The hotel has beautiful rooms which feel like luxury and we were even upgraded to a larger room with amazing views

Everything looked fresh and new, we truly loved our stay The staff were all pleasant and helpful and Andres the chief concierge helped with information about getting to our cruise and helped with printing our necessary documents which saved us so much time We can’t wait to visit again!

I had a nice stay here My room was beautiful and had a great view of the marina The location is also perfect and the area seemed extremely safe

The only downside to my stay was the lack of housekeeping I stayed about one week and my room was not cleaned once I had to go to the front desk to get towels and I ended up taking my trash downstairs to the trash bin I mentioned it to the front desk several times and they were very pleasant, but still the housekeeping team never showed up Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable stay

I usually don’t write reviews even if my experience wasn’t as good as it could have been, but this place was bad Very incompetent staff We booked our reservation a few months prior to our wedding date

When we first booked this hotel we called the hotel and told them we are getting married and asked if we can have a room on the top floor with a nice view We called and spoke to many different people leading up to the event, as they reassured us there were notes on the account that we are getting married and they will try their best to get us a nice view We check in, our view was of a building being constructed which was very loud after being told you can’t hear the construction on the 19th floor while checking in, which you can We asked if they could change our room but was told there was nothing they could do The bathroom is so tiny the sink bowl is probably 6 inches wide, and the over all bathroom is extremely tiny After telling multiple people upon booking we are getting married no one told us the king size room is very small and has a tiny bathroom We had to use my mother in laws bathroom which was large with her double bed room to get ready in the morning because the bathroom was extremely tight, getting ready for a normal day let alone in wedding attire was near impossible in the king size room When checking out, my mom spoke with the front desk about how inappropriate the room and bathroom size was for a wedding and they lied saying they weren’t aware we were getting married Which again multiple people confirmed over the phone they saw notes on the account months weeks and days leading up to our check in date for the wedding I would not stay here again Construction noise was very loud during the morning and throughout the whole day and the staff don’t care We also got a huge nail in our car tire from the construction going on next door which put a huge hole in our tire it could not be plugged we had to replace it The best staff in the entire hotel was the valet Those employees work very hard and cared the most about their guests They remembered us every time we had to use our car they were very friendly and quick The valet staff is a 5 star, the rest of the hotel was an embarrassment Don’t book this hotel if you want a very loud construction view being pawned off as a “city view” They did not disclose construction was being done next door when booking For the amount of money this hotel charges, along with their “resort fee”, the service, king size room is a joke Way better hotels in the area, don’t waste your time here

Kel Ruiz

Excellent location of the hotel, everything you need to enjoy is within walking distance The hotel facilities are very clean, the staff very friendly, the girl at the reception is super attentive The room very clean, very comfortable, everything ready and prepared for a good rest

The only extra is the valet Parking $31 but price comfort is worth it, it’s nothing serious

Purpose: BusinessFrom reading the reviews, I wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised Customer service was on point, tons of options at the market place, one of the only Marriott properties that have room service, convenient shuttle, attentive staff, and it seemed pretty lively at night The staff was pretty attentive as I wanted to switch rooms because of the closeness of the elevator

Other than that, I will definitely choose this property again

This was our first trip to Miami and it was very eventful! For starters, it had been a long night for us Our flight arrived after midnight so of course we were extremely tired We were initially checked in to a room that was obviously pet friendly given the potent smell of animal urine

We understand loving your fur babies however this was a bit overwhelmingWe went to the front desk however not much could be done to accommodate us; even though the Night Auditor did tryWe made the best of it but after a terrible night’s sleep, we decided to try again to relocate the next day I had the pleasure of speaking with Francine who was absolutely WONDERFUL! She took care of us like family and really made our day!She apologized and checked us into another room immediately She also explained to my husband that the previous night didn’t allow for such and they would pay more attention to cleaning after pets from now onMarriott is always our hotel of choice Even though we’ve not had many bad experiences, the staff always looks to make our stay as pleasant as possibleThank you again Francine for ensuring we will choose this location again when we visit soon We truly appreciate everything you did to make this celebratory trip amazing!

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a resort This site will compare thousands of hotel sites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the highest rated in the area

I have been staying here for a long time If you choose this place you definitely won’t be disappointedThey are always very good to me and my family Very clean and decently maintained Food options for dinner are not to our liking but I’m sure it has a lot to do with covid-19

Honestly the best service we ever had and me and my husband travel often around the world Staying at this beautiful hotel for 5 days and we won’t be checking out until Tuesday but I am so impressed by the service that I had to put my review half way to our trip Clean rooms, beautiful view, top notch service and beautiful ambiance— what more can you ask for

Highly recommend—wish they had branches in Canada

The Mandarin Oriental is our favorite hotel in Miami Located in Brickell Key, it’s right in the middle of some the best shopping and restaurants in the Miami area and just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Miami Beach This is our third time staying at this hotel, one of our critiques the first two stays were that the hotel’s decor needed to be freshened up they have done that

We stayed in a Junior Bay Suite this time and absolutely loved the room The terrace wraps around and the views are fantastic From a service perspective the Mandarin Oriental Miami is truly 5 stars, I couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough for a sophisticated stay in Miami

Henrik

By far the best hotel in Brickell I tend to do long term stays whenever possibleTop food – even when ordering room service the quality is above what you expect

Epic wine list which is available 24/7 Bar serves all the favourites including items you did not know were your favouritesThe suites are bigger and more bright than your average Miami suite Private ‘Beach’ on site and Private Pool area too, with non stop serviceBottom line: get a room before your neighbour

I loved my stay at this hotel! It was my first time booking a hotel in Miami and it did not disappoint Very friendly and welcoming staff Loved that they offered 2 free drinks even though it was specific drinks and loved that they offered beach chairs and an umbrella which we ended up using

Definitely recommend and will be returning The only thing I found out which was a bummer is that I should of booked directly with them since I’m a Florida resident and I would have gotten a discount but I had gone thru another app to book which didn’t offer me a discount

David

The hotel rooms are nice I’m leaving a 1 star review because of our experience with the person at the front desk (Edgar)We were hoping to check in early at 10 AM Edgar said he’d call us when our room is ready

We asked if there’s any other room or way we could ask the maids to prioritize our room cleaning and we’d pay extra, Edgar said noWe walked around Miami Beach while we waited for our room We checked back with Edgar every hour or so to see if there were any updates Each time we checked in, Edgar acted as if he had never seen us before – asked for our names, went over the fees for checking in early, asked us for our card to pay the early check in fee, and said he’d call us when the room is ready We eventually got checked in at 1:30PM because I checked back with Edgar and he finally checked our room for usThe next day when we checked out, he somehow remembered my spouses first and last name and that we went to the pool He somehow didn’t recall having the same early check in discussion with us 5 times the day we tried to check in early though My spouse and I didn’t get very friendly or helpful vibes from Edgar

Genevieve Anderson

Better than expected! Very cute, friendly, warm, detail oriented, and beachy vibe This is a boutique hotel that is worth taking seriously There is an elevator! and electronic tap cards instead of keys

The Grand partial ocean view King room (room 12, third floor) is huge and very comfortable There is a small fridge and a Keurig coffee maker, along with a very soft, comfortable bed and a desk with a very comfortable chair plus a separate two-seater stiff sofa, smart TV, and closet with 14 wood hangers The bathroom lighting is motion-sensored only Took us a while to figure that out! There is also a window in the bathroom that opens, though gets stuck The large balcony overlooking the main entrance is mostly very narrow, so realistically it’s only a small balcony with a basic bistro set of two small wood chairs with a small round wood table The pool area is gorgeous, though it’s a wading pool of only 3-foot depth This is NOT a lap pool for exercise!By booking directly, a full cooked breakfast per person is included each morning (one order comes with 2 eggs any style, plus one choice of: bacon, turkey bacon, sausage, tomato or avocado; one choice of white, multigrain, or whole-wheat toast; butter, jam; a bowl of tasty homefries made with onions and spices or a bowl of fruit (berries and melons); and any non-alcoholic beverage including lattes or fresh juice) You will also receive two free drink tickets total (can be used for 12 oz name brand beer such as Corona or Heineken, red or white wine or poor quality prosecco) Strong Wi-Fi has the same password throughout the property and is great for Zoom and conference callsHousekeeping service is referred to as “turn down service” and arrived mid afternoon to refresh towels, empty garbage, refill coffee pods, and tidy bathroom 2 folding beach armchairs and a beach umbrella provided in room and two striped towels designed for pool/beach useTip: they will email you an advance virtual check-in request which I am glad I ignored Because our flights (yes, two completely different flights) got canceled, and I phoned the hotel to keep them updated, they agreed to give us a 10:15 pm check in for free The advance virtual check-in charges you by the hour for any early check-in prior to 3:00 pm They also charge $75 for arriving after hours and a fee for really late check-outThey were aware it was my 50th birthday, but didn’t add anything to celebrate

My husband & I stayed here Sunday-Thursday because I had a procedure Monday that required me to be on bed rest The welcome was very gracious & kind We got exactly what we wanted- peace & quiet

The hotel was clean & the staff was kind I especially liked the window sill/sofa in the room to get a little sun while I was on rest! When it came to the food- we couldn’t go wrong We tried almost everything at Edge during breakfast, lunch & dinner & everything was delectableMy only issue would be the valet I’ve always been hesitant to do valet (no matter the level of the hotel) & this left another bad mark on me My app notified me that my car was unlocked & had the windows down all night When I woke up I notified the front desk & they resolved it, but I truly believe that’s something shouldn’t have occurred My car now has a peculiar smell

We stayed at the Four Seasons Miami-Brickell for two weeks this June From the moment of our arrival to check-out, we couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay The entire staff went above and beyond to make our entire family comfortable and satisfied

From meeting our every need to sending a sizable chocolate tennis racket arrangement when my daughter got into medical school, the staff exceeded our expectations in every possible manner The food and drink was world-class—the chefs and bartenders worked tirelessly to prepare meals and beverages to our specific preferences While the entire staff was fantastic, Santa was a particular highlight of our stay Throughout our trip, she ensured we were always taken care of, from valet to housekeeping, restaurant booking and much more The manager at the pool was equally wonderful, and helped us book a last-minute reservation at an extremely popular restaurant in Miami The housekeeping staff was clean, efficient, and incredibly warm to each member of our family—always doing their best to meet our various needs I give my highest recommendation to the Four Seasons Miami-Brickell and look forward to returning as soon as possible for another stay

Christen Dye

You are always a quick hop to the beach as wellI can not express enough how much I love and recommend this hotel! Safe travels

Grateful to have stayed at this boutique hotel The decor is fun and playful, and the overall vibe of this place is awesome I chose this hotel for my second half of my cosmetic surgery recovery when I could be on my own and am so happy with my choice

The bed is super comfy (medium plush), blankets plush, pillows plush and the air conditioning quiet They accommodated my request for a quiet room at the end of the hall (I could not hear any street traffic) A mini fridge comes in the room but they were able to bring a slightly bigger one to my room as I need to eat a few special things after my surgery that needed to be kept cold Even the spare blanket they brought was cozy unlike typical crunchy blankets hotels give you when you ask for a second blanket If eating healthy is important to you as was for me post-surgery there are so many healthy dining and smoothie spots around Plus, the location doesn’t get any better! Special thank to Kat/Cat the supervisor/manager for her efforts to make my stay more comfortable She went above and beyond when she truly did not have to Your kindness meant the world to me ❤️ Happy to have found what I deem the best south beach Miami hotel for the value paid

Andrea Baccarelli

Booking this place was our best decision ever It is beautifully decorated, brand new, immaculately clean, close to the beach, and has an amazing swimming pool next to a top notch restaurant and bar Stay was just amazing

Each room also gets two complementary loungers and an umbrella at the nearby beach (5 minutes walk) The area is just lovely the right mix of fun and relax (whichever you are looking for, you can have either around here) The room was small but beautiful and very quiet Amazing design and decor

Jay Bird

I can’t wait to come and stay again! What a beautiful property From the rooms, to the restaurant and outdoor space, you can tell a lot of attention to detail went into this space Everything was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly

There is a definite party vibe at the hotel but the rooms were nice and quiet and it was easy to get a good night sleep on the cozy bed If you do like to sip drinks and party by the pool this is the spot for you A lot of fun! They also offered free workout classes that I highly recommend We’ll definitely be back again to hang by the pool and enjoy the atmosphere

The property is beautiful and in a great location My room was spacious and clean However, the hotel is in need of cosmetic refreshing

The furniture in the lobby is worn, the ceiling vents in the meeting rooms are surrounded by black dirt, and the public bathrooms look “tired” I expected more from a luxury hotel Also, the elevators can be very slow More than once, there were 20 people waiting in line to get on the elevators in the lobby, even though there are six elevators available At one point, hotel staff let us use the service elevator, which was appreciated There were a few times that I had to wait several minutes for an elevator to pick me up on the 24th floor My colleagues said the same thing happened to them I didn’t receive an emailed receipt from the hotel and had to call twice to have one sent to me Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again

We came to vacation to visit my family that lives in in Miami and decided to stay a hotel for part of the trip This hotel is so nice, the pool is heated and the gym is clean and has brand new equipment The rooms are clean and comfortable

We paid for vip club access and got breakfast, tea time and happy hour throughout the day Fernando was our server for tea time and happy hour and he was very friendly and professional I’m very impressed with he level of service in the hotel

Ralf Assmann

It was an amazing experience, from valet parking to check-in everyone was very friendly and helpful The design of the interior is very luxurious The room was great and the view was beautiful

We booked online and I found a great deal with parking and breakfast already included I also liked that it is in walking distance to the hard rock cafe

The service was an excellent one from the moment we arrived I love the view out of my window, even though we had a tropical storm coming in the view was amazing 🤩 The location was perfect for me because our flight came in at 1:30 a

m and I had the opportunity of getting very fast to this hotel with “Lift” service, it only took 8 minutes The room had only a few rust details in the bathroom but it was clean and neat when we got when we got there And last but not least, I was able to extend my stay for 5 more hours without hesitation from the staff I will definitely come back for my next stay in Miami

Desiree Neff

The pool was beautiful The city view was great The proximity to everything was very helpful

The staff was really nice and accommodating especially with extra blankets and towels However, the cons were the restaurant didn’t have a very big selection and the prices were a little high The toilet did clog, but I fixed it myself There were some cracks and rust stains on toilet alsoi just really wish they had a free hot breakfast instead of wasting money through door dash for breakfast

Hayley Whitlock

To be honest, the decor made me expect the experience to be more luxurious than it actually was I enjoyed having a place to stay, but the room service is not currently an option, which can be frustrating for an airport hotel One thing to note, I speak Spanish very poorly, but most restaurants around this area are primarily Spanish speaking

This is a great cultural immersion!! However, make sure someone in your group speaks a bit of Spanish if you plan on exploring the area around the hotel

Absolutely beautiful! I attended a networking event that was indoors/outdoors and it was one of the coolest experiences I’ve had in South Florida, and I’ve lived in Miami my whole life! The view of the water and various portions of the magnificent Miami skylines were breathtaking to say the least! The staff were also very accommodating and I will never be able to think of any complaint or criticism of any kind from my experience at this beautiful location! If you ever get the chance to go please do, definitely a bucket list type of adventure!

The Fisher Island experiences I had are worth reliving, the grandeur of Quality across the board is inexplicable You must be there to know exactly what I am talking about IIt is the safest place ever and the ferry, restaurants, etc are out of this world

Location the main attraction Also view from the room is simply amazing, you can stay for hours just looking the city from the balcony Rooms are nice and spacious but the quality of everything in the room is coming from a two stars motel

Bed sheets are awful, the quality of the mattress is also way under the level you expect from this building For the last two days almost half of the elevators were broken therefore going up to your room or down to the lobby was like going in rush hour in some big city metro (subway) Price vs quality balance is far from good

I’ve stayed at 5-star hotels before and this one is surely not a 5-star hotel even though they’re designated as such Service was terrible for the most part New hires at the front desk did not know the answers to my questions, they did not address every concern I had while checking out, and I felt I was talking to a wall

The attendant’s eyes were lost, she had no idea what to do when I asked about simple room charges, I was so tired I just left Food selection was very limited and the menu description barely resembled the actual food There is no in-room dining from 11 am-5:30 pm, so if you’re hungry during those times you’ll have to order in or go to their restaurant 😓 the staff doesn’t wear/use uniforms, they wear what they want and they look scrappy There is no mini bar in the room and when we requested a bottle opener they stated they would bring one once we ordered food, but we wanted to drink some of our own wine before ordering We had to go downstairs with the bottle so they could uncork it for us Bc they would not lend us a bottle opener In my room, one closet light was out, the toilet would not drain correctly and water would just run unless I moved the handle The shower was not perfectly clean as there were parts in between the tile that were black and pink as when someone doesn’t scrub them Room service came and just left a pile of towels by the bathtub, they didn’t even have the decency of hanging them where they belong or folding them appropriately They would take forever to come and pick up the dirty dishes, and one has to place the dirty dishes outside the door I will never book here again

Ioana Rider

Less than impressed Room wasn’t ready at 4 pm check in so we had to wait over half an hour They said we were getting a $100 dining credit but then they forgot to apply it to the room

The bath tub faucet came off and we couldn’t use it The mattress was incredibly hard and uncomfortable Woke up with back pain The restaurant was good but nothing special Definitely very overpriced Not worth the over $750 paid for one night There are much better options in Brickell Will not stay here again

This hotel is OLD That’s the main word that comes to mind The rooms are huge, but they’re super sparse

There’s two tiny nightstands that are placed so far from the bed you can reach them There’s a desk that’s got dents and scratches everywhere All of the furniture is this old granite on top of old fake wood The bathroom is old linoleum and plastic There’s nothing on the bathroom counter Not even cups for water or holding your toothbrush The sinks are old and the handles are old There’s even weird liquid dried up on the walls in the bathroomEven the art is dated and the frames look like they live been here for 80 years In addition, they’ve been doing construction in the room above me for hours and no one seems to know when it will stop Tried calling the concierge He got super awkward and told me he’d call me back Never didThe only good thing about this hotel is the view from the rooms That said, you’ve got a great balcony but no chairs or anything on it and there’s not even an extra chair in the room for you to take out there to enjoyThe pool is at the same level as the highway so it’s super loud The chairs are literally falling apart The towels that they provide are just shower towelsLastly, the walls are paper thin I heard every single person that came in last nightI’d probably suggest somewhere else in Miami, this is not a 4 star Hyatt

Bogdan Balajel

Just got here and planing to stay for 8 days It’s nice but not special The reason I am giving this hotel such a bad rating is because they don’t keep that traveler is mind

This hotel is “too good” to have a guest laundry room Too good to provided basic needs for a traveler In the last week I have spent each night at a different hotel ( not one other negative review given) I drove five hours to get here only to be left with a dilemma of if I want to spent 7-15$ per piece of clothing to get washed via the ridiculous dry cleaning laundry service they provide Or get back in my car find a laundry mat and hope I can get it all done before 4 pm tomorrow Imagine if I needed it by 8am or 6 am No time to rest, no time to unwind just panic and uncertainty Not the first vibe any hotel should aspire to create for its guests This hotel is not all one star, but I have given this rating to raise the attention of its superiors to do something about this Let’s make laundry rooms the norm at all hotels And let’s me hotels that have the “I’m too good you” a vibe of the past

Tracy MacMullin

I had a great experience The room I was given was a corner room with floor to ceiling windows and amazing views from every direction I booked a pool view and got a great deal on it

The beds were very comfy, the room was clean, the lobby and hotel decor was beautiful and the staff were curteous and helpful Unfortunately I didn’t get to use the hotel amenities as much as I’d like There were places I wanted to try inside the hotel because to my surprise they had vegan options, but it just didn’t work out because we were so busyThe only downside is that we visited during a busy time so one of the pools (the super nice one with the waterfall and slide) was always so packed that you couldn’t get a lawn chair or any seating etc There was way too many people It would be gross to go into a pool with that many people packed into it as well So unfortunately I was super excited for the pools and didn’t really get to use them It’s Orlando though, there was so much to do that it wasn’t a deal breaker We did use the secondary pool a couple times which was also pretty busy I removed a star due to the pool issuesI’m very happy with my experience here If I’m back in Orlando I will stay here again as long as it’s not during busy season

The customer experience nearly ruined our stay Let me start by saying that some of the grievances began with the customer support for diamond members, but the hotel employees didn’t make it any better

First issue: my husband called the diamond status line to cancel one of the days that we would be staying there The rep said he did what we asked but my husband received an email notification that all our days had been canceledSecond issue: Called the diamond preferred number again and the lady didn’t understand the issue and hung up on my husbandThird time we called: CS rep apologized for the issue and wanted to make it right She upgraded us to a junior suite My husband got an email and saw that we got a double instead of a kingFourth time we called the hotel and told them what happened The guy at the front desk scoffed at my husband and called him a liar when my husband told him that we were upgraded He did this without even looking at the account And by this time, my husband was highly frustrated and the front desk guy hung up on him after my husband expressed his frustrationFifth time, we called Diamond number again and spoke to a manager He ended up changing us to a Junior suite with a king bed and issued us a credit for the points we usedSixth issue My husband was trying to surprise meSince it was our anniversary He had a box with four dozen roses sent to the hotel and asked them to set it up in the room so that when I walked in, I would be surprised The hotel said they would accommodate Luckily, my husband asked some friends to keep me busy while he went to check in And when he did, the roses were not set up like he had askedSo all in all, it could’ve been a great stay Rooms were clean View of the bay was nice And the hotel had an entire retail area But the employees are there to do the bare minimum and could care less about their customers

S.M. Barnes

Very nice hotel, beautiful views of the Bay from my room and an excellent location! One main gripe I have are the cookies

why do y’all have only chocolate chip & walnut? There are so many people w/nut allergies, why not offer plain chocolate chip? On to my review Unfortunately, there were gnats flying all throughout our room and we could not kill enough for them to be gone The shower sprayed water from the top of the shower head and put water all over the toilet and bathroom floor Room service didn’t make our beds the first day we were there They just dropped clean towels and washcloths and moved to the next room During our meals, one lady on the waitstaff was so quick to try and remove people’s plates/silverware, she didn’t even bother to ask if we were finished our meals And when we objected to the removal, she tried to give it back, but by then she had already touched it and we no longer wanted it We had to complain to the service manager, Ramon, I think (who was amazingly AWESOME) and he made sure to take care of my table both days His smile was BIG and infectious; he was a gem! The carpets in the hallway were dirty and full of stains, where one was so bad, I honestly thought it was blood I also saw an employee sitting in the bottom floor lobby area smoking a vape Shouldn’t that be done outside?! I, for one, am very sensitive to any type of smoke due to a medical condition, so I feel would this would be unacceptable and not allowed by hotel management The upside is the food was really good, the meeting rooms were large and spacious, and the outside terrace had spectacular views! The location could not have been more perfect! Also, the front desk staff were very courteous and professional The pros outweighed the cons for the week I stayed and may consider this location in the future

Brandon Reese

Building is in rough shape Guest wifi barely strong enough for email Our ceiling leaked enough to fill a trash can overnight

Elevators won’t get you to ALL rooms, so be ready for a few oddly placed stairs Ocean side view is great, staff was very friendly and helpful Valet was prompt and reasonably priced Good location to walk to lots of things worth walking to Stay because it’s far cheaper than the real Hilton across the street, but that’s about it

If you’re thinking about staying here, DO IT!!! The hotel is absolutely beautiful – from the lobby to the room – every part of The Savoy has amazing decorations!! The pools were our favorite part – it felt like we were in paradise!!! The service was also exceptional – every single person we talked to was helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed The food was also incredible – the fries are a must haveWe loved our room – it was exactly as pictured and described!! The pink mural wall was my favorite part

One minor thing was that we could hear noise above us late into the night Other than that, everything was amazing!!!

Fell completely in love with the Savoy Everything from the eclectic, classy, vintage lobby, to the amazing 2 room suite- which was perfectly nerdy in the best way There are books everywhere, classics, true crime, even Harry Potter

Even the bathroom, which was modern, still felt somehow antiqueThe pool bar was great, Wallace (the bartender) was wonderful and made us feel very welcome and very much at home The pool itself was refreshing and surrounded by beautiful greenery, outfitted with multiple areas with loungers and chairs But the best part was without a doubt the beach experience Beautiful clear blue water as far as the eye could see Guests had free access to loungers and umbrellas There was a waiter on hand all day serving drinks and food The menu provided a wide variety of options Burgers to Sushi and everything in between So no need to cut your beach day short I hope to make the Savoy a yearly home away from home

My wife and I had a great time here getting away from the Texas cold Very close to beautiful beach (2-3 minute walk) and the staff always greeted us and made us feel welcome The rooms were luxurious and big, and they had balconies where I could hear ocean

Being on Ocean Drive and close to all the top restaurants makes this location unbeatable For the price, I thought it was a very good deal

Before of the pandemic we went to the hotel a couple of times, we decided to return on spring this year The hotel was renovated Rooms are beautifulI must highlight and thank the excellent service and attention that Luis always gave us (sorry, I don’t know his last name), Luis the manager is very professional, kind, funny and extremely polite

With a person of those qualities, it is a great experience to stay there Thank you very much Gaythering, thank you very much “Luis”

Hison Mitchell

I stayed here Wednesday night The staff were very nice and accommodating The bartenders were great

The “crate” I was in was very nice It was basically the size of an average hotel room I was expecting smaller I would definitely stay here and recommend others When I checked in I told the guy helping me that if the hold for incidentals was more than $50 that I wanted to use a different card He tells me yeah we’re going to need another card I ask him how much their hold was to decide which credit card I would use He tells me there’s not a set number but if you only have $50 on your card that won’t cover if you break something Whatever his intentions were by saying that, it came off condescending Especially since all your furniture is attached to room and there is nothing to break I decided to just ignore it in the moment to avoid getting upsetEveryone else there were great so it turned out fine But I would suggest not saying something like that to someone Even if you weren’t trying to be condescending it very much was So I knocked it down a star

Ricardo Pacelli Freitas

I’ve stayed at Hotel Gaythering three times and every single time was unforgettableThe rooms are very clean, the sheets and pillows are comfortable, and the ambience is phenomenalThey offer free bikes to ride around south beach, free beach towels, beach umbrellas, ice… they really have everything

Special thanks to Dupaul and Luis for being so awesome!Did I mention they have a pancake machine?Gaythering is the best option for gay men in Miami Just book your reservation already!
