My husband and I stayed here this past weekend and I could not be happier with the accommodations The bed was so comfortable and the shower was amazing We felt well taken care of by literally everyone we came into contact with

The front desk always had smiles and asked how our day was, the valet was always quick, and the two women at the bar were so kind We walked down to Caribou Coffee two blocks down both days and felt safe This hotel is in an ideal spot and seems to be like 15 minutes from everything! We went to the spa and used some of the amenities before we left and felt so refreshed Just a heads up, you can get a day pass to the spa for $50 dollars per person If you have some downtime, I highly recommend it Great stay and we will definitely be back

Ross Nelson

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and had an amazing stay! Some of the nicest accommodations we have ever had anywhere Briana made sure our stay was extra special and went above and beyond for us Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful! My wife had an amazing massage at the Adna Spa that is located on site

Breakfast in bed was delicious and high quality The whole place was incredibly clean We will definitely be coming back to Hotel Ivy next time we are staying in Minneapolis!

CHRISTINE NEHLS

The hotel is so clean and lavish We always upgrade to the high level floors where it’s most quiet All of our encounters with front desk staff, room service, house keeping, and engineering is impeccable

We always seem to have an issue with valet service including our most recent stay on 2/19/22-2/20/22 Upon arrival a young valet did not help the passenger out of the vehicle which is in very busy one way traffic nor did he assist the driver, just stood there and told us to leave our keys in the car and he left it unattended on a busy down town Minneapolis street We had to get our own luggage rack When you’re paying $48/day + tip, you expect a little more That afternoon upon trying to retrieve our car, the same young man and different young man acted like we were a huge inconvenience as a “walk up” even though we explained our text ticket didn’t work When returning that evening an extremely lovely older gentleman with a pony tail helped the passenger out of the car from heavy traffic and talked with the driver to make sure there was nothing further he could do for service before parking That’s what earns good tips and respect The same gentleman retrieved our car at check out and was so gracious in seating the passenger and loading our bags The Ivy needs to have that gentleman run a training course for its younger valet staff members

Very nice luxurious feeling hotel The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms have cool lights and a nice shower AC is great! Nice view of the runway too

It was great to not have to leave the airport and go outside to access the hotel Unfortunately the TSA check point was closed to get back to the terminal so we had to take the shuttle, but it was quick and easy and in a very nice luxury van

Corey Trusty

The hotel was absolutely great in taking care of us… we got in almost 3hrs later then we were supposed too… like 2:30am… and they absolutely took care of us… from the shuttle service, to our check in… the room was clean, very spacious and very quiet even to the outside noise being by the airport The attention to detail with the little things was really good such as the lighting in the bathroom, huge shower, massive counter space, the different colored towels and the soundproof windows The few things that were missing in my very humble opinion were more places to hang towels (there was only one peg to do that); places to hang your rag in the shower

There was no place to do that at all Other than that it was a really good experience, especially with the folks who worked the graveyard shift… thank you…

Michael

I love this airport hotel I have stayed here 3 times and I have even stayed in the suite It is always clean and easy to get to from the airport via the sky bridge walkway

It has great views of the airport and you can see St Paul and downtown Minneapolis from some of the roomsMy one complaint is that during the summer the lobby can be much to warm and humid The room does take a bit to cool off also

I travel a fair amount for work I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel The staff (although I used the app to check in and out) were very friendly and helpful

The rooms were very clean The lobby was very large and had several tables available for small groups The wasn’t complimentary coffee/breakfast, but I was able to purchase a cup at the bar I will stay again when I return to the area

Ziyi Wang

The check-in time stated in the confirmation email was 3pm When we arrived around 4:50, the front desk staff Andrea told us that we can’t be checked-in yet because our room wasn’t ready yet We told her that we were supposed to check in at 3pm, and it had passed two hours than that

Andrea used the excuse that there were too many rooms for them to clean and they didn’t clean all the rooms at the time yet We made clear that we don’t accept that as an excuse And then Andrea said “YOU GUYS GOT LUCKY, I found one,” and then checked us in During the entire interaction with Andrea, she was very condescending and rude to us We didn’t feel welcoming when we arrived the hotel We highly suspect that she was being racist to us because we are people of color and wore a mask at the time we checked in After we entered the room, we found the toilet didn’t work properly and it makes very loud noise when it refills with water The room was located at the 1st floor Sound insulation was near zero!! We clearly heard people talking in the hotel lobby at midnight We are extremely disappointed by this stay with Sheraton

Keely Ward

I have to say I’ve had nothing but an amazing experience every-time I stay here Specifically tonight, I had an amazing dinner with Todd being extremely attentive behind the bar, per usual Then, there was a situation on the 3rd floor and I was provided a drink and soup by the GM, Tiffany, while I waited for it to clear

I could not be happier with my serviceI typically stay downtown but this place is way better!! Stay here everytime for quality and amazing customer serviceThank you for having amazing staff and an amazing hotel!

Hector at the front desk is AMAZING I do not have enough kind words to describe how welcomed and helpful he was upon my arrival He made me feel right at home, gave me all of the information on the hotel, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful stay

Whenever I am in Minneapolis I’ll be staying here just because of his kindness After a long day he really turned my day around The bar and gym are lovely and the rooms are spacious The location is great and parking is easy I definitely recommend staying here Once again thank you Hector for everything you’ve done to help with my stay I appreciate you more than words can express!

This hotel was the same price as the Marquette where is usually stay but my friend had a room here for the weekend so I booked this instead Worst night at a hotel I had ever experienced About once every 30 mins the furnace would start, it sounded like a diesel generator

The first few rounds I thought there was construction outside it was so loud My fitness tracker said I slept for 1hr15min that night The bed was also extremely uncomfortable and the walls were so thin I could here people partying throughout the hotel all night when the furnace wasn’t running I ended my trip early and didn’t even stay my second night The shower was also just about unusable with how hard the spray was Wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling back and it was outdated and dirty The front desk staff was kind upon arrival and promptly refunded the parking I had been incorrectly charged for when I called the day after my stay I know not to have high hopes for hotel breakfast but the only hot option was breakfast sandwiches that were not even close to as good as the worst gas station bkfst sandwich I’ve ever had I will not return to this hotel There are similarly priced hotels in the area that are luxurious

Joshua Miller

Excellent food, service, and locationAs far as in building amenities go, the pool and gym are excellent, and there is electric car charging on the first floor of the parking garage/basement (2 Tesla only chargers, 1 standard electric charger)

I arrived late and they didn’t have my room available The next day I was finally placed in the correct room However the initial arrival was extremely frustrating

The staff was very nice and did do their best to help us out The hotel is beautiful The decor is outstanding The beds are incredibly comfortable So if your reservation isn’t messed up, an amazing place to stay

Penny Kramer

Accommodations for my daughter’s wedding… 11/10The Rand Hotel had the white glove approach and accommodated over a hundred out of town guests for our daughter’s wedding Everything was exceptionally handled, from the guest check-in to the impeccable service in the dining area Guests commented that they were treated like royalty, and the staff bent over backwards to help meet their needs

One review came from my elderly parents When the dining area was closed for lunch, the service staff cheerfully accommodated them with whatever they desired off the menu On a separate occasion, our large family was having breakfast and wanted to sit together, so the staff orchestrated a table to seat 14 people comfortably in the tower club outside the restaurant areaKelly, the event coordinator, went out of her way so many times by overseeing the arrival of guests to organizing the welcome bags we had delivered for each guest! Kelly orchestrated a warm, welcoming environment to host a bar of welcome drinks in the Rand Tower Club, and guests were in awe at the atmosphere of the club and bar service! It’s a gorgeous space for such an eventAll hotel staff, from the reception desk to the service personnel, proved to go out of their way to make guests feel at home The downtown affair was an incredible experience and we have heard from many guests that the rooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortableThe Rand Tower impressed them beyond measure! I would recommend the Rand Tower Hotel for a stay or to host a special occasion in the Rand Tower Club on the 5th Floor!

Jon Webb

This was a fascinating place! No valet parking, or parking at all, which was a little confusing initially We paid $30 a night for parking across the street We used the sky bridge Friday to get back, but the sky bridge was locked and closed on the weekend, which was weird considering it was the access to the hotel via the parking garage

The rooms were very small but had everything we needed They didn’t do any room service while we were there, which was fineWe went to the whiskey and soda and ended up leaving because the bartender seemed flustered and didn’t talk to us to order

Aleata Alstad-Calkins

Amazing hotel, awesome staff working for security and breakfast shifts However, the bar staff were snooty and I’m truly astounded by a member working at the front reception I lost my purse and asked her to check in lost & found

She said she couldn’t find it and was extremely nonchalant – she didn’t try to reassure me or treat the matter as high priority (there were no other customers/guests to serve) I wasted a half hour panicking and nearly reported it to the police Her colleague thankfully reviewed the camera footage and saw that someone had turned in, sure enough it was where I asked her to look Waste of my time and horrible customer service – train your staff!

My stay at the Hyatt was wonderful The front desk clerks Julie and Natalie were a great help throughout my stay I arrived earlier than expected and was allowed early check-in

The hotel was nice and quiet I rarely saw anyone and was beginning to think I was alone on my floor It didn’t bother me because I was able to catch up on much needed rest The rooms were nice and clean You have to ask for housekeeping if you would like your room cleaned everyday The walk to the Convention Center is about 5-7 minutes I would definitely stay again

Leonard Tao

As an individual traveller room type usually not my concern But bathroom means a lot in my travel experience The standard room of Hyatt Centric Downtown Minneapolis is spacious and contain both shower and bathtub

Double sink is a plus consider some hotels positioned higher than Hyatt Centric don’t have that But the most impressive part is people All the staffs were very helpful and friendly! If I come back to Minneapolis again I would definitely choose this place to stay

Malorie Polk- Miller

This was a wonderful hotel! The rooms and property were very clean The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful Food is nearby and entertainment is walkable

I would recommend this place especially for business staysThe only con I have is the parking situation Typical downtown parking where it’s around the corner or up the street in a small parking deck

So beautiful and elegant! My jaw dropped when I first walked in to the lobby So many plants and such a calm and open energy Absolutely lovely! The hotel room is way more impressive in person then on the website

So many delightfully perfect surprises like great shower pressure and plenty of hangers and gorgeous view Plus a top notch coffee house and bar right on the first floor So grateful I matched with Emery through Hotwire In the future I plan to reserve directly Truly impressed This is the exact oasis I need to balance my self-care time with my time out and about Thank you so much to all the people that make the Emery absolutely outstanding!

Seth Johnston (Tinzien)

The studio rooms are large, comfortable, and not your standard box room (do not stay here if you cannot handle stuff not on a 90° angle)Outside of the building is very drab and I was concerned at first that my ride did not drop me off at the right location The hallways are very noir with low lighting, black doors, and dark carpet which is in stark contrast to the rooms

Front desk staff were excellent and the restaurant bar staff & manager were top notch professionals The food was delicious and the bartender was spot on with a cocktail recommendationDo not forget to check out the coffee shop on the first floor Top notch treats (the rhubarb tart is a must) and delicious drinks served by counter staff who were excellentIt was tough to get a ride share service to come down to the city center on the weekend due to that area being an urban desert since everything else is closed) so take that into account for plans

Tom Paulick

*edit* Pete the bar-tender adds 2 stars to the Emery’s rating Despite my concerns which still hold — you need to hire people if you can’t cover monday dinners — however if you go to the bar – ask for Pete that guy is a pure professional Remembers his customers

Makes you feel at home and not an anonymous traveller I would suggest Pete needs a raise Follows: my original review (which was 1 star):They don’t believe that their guests will need dinner or perhaps want a glass of wine for their room – on Monday nights Yep bar and restaurant are closed Monday How is that possible? I’ve stayed at holiday inns that have food and drinks on a Monday Surely the Emery can do better Closest food is like 5 blocks away And yes that’s outdoor walking Don’t ask me what was on my sheets when I checked in Plus side, rooms are nicely appointed Location is good if you need to be downtown Make sure they actually changed the sheets on your bed tho

Pros: clean, new, sizable and comfortable Great little convenience store and plenty of pods and sociable areas to sit Checkout is 12 (great!) and was easy to push that back even further

High value for moneyCon: don’t get a room by an exit It’s a busy hotel so heavy foot traffic at exits and the doors aren’t insulated enough to mitigate the noise It kept me up all night Everything else was great

Hank Hultstrand

The first time i stayed here it was great Hospitality was awesome Place was clean amd inviting

The last time i stayed here everything felt a little off Room seemed less cared for We had reservations for two adults but towels and coffee for one Dirty glasses in the hallway for 3 days The same dirty glasses Great location if you need access to the western suburbs

Richard Brooks

The hotel was very clean, fresh, and modern looking (except the front desk… Personal opinion, but it didn’t mesh with the rest of the decor ) The restaurant served a decent breakfast, but they didn’t have anything along the lines of a continental breakfast beyond coffee

That was slightly disappointing The indoor pool and hot tub was baller, but I am not sure if our rooms were ever cleaned during our week stay

I organize international exchanges for international leaders and have been bringing groups here at least three times a month, every month, for week-long stays since June They LOVE this hotel It’s clean, the beds are comfortable, it’s around the block from Marshall’s, Nicollet Mall and the Light Rail to Mall of America

They take their photo in the lobby next to the wall of wine bottles and futuristic chairs They comment on how fresh the lobby smells (it always smells amazing, I’ve been here several times) Great staff Just a wonderful and economic experience I can’t say enough I never plan to have my guests stay anywhere else

Kristen Cross

This is a beautiful hotel Our bed was very comfortable The room and all the common areas we visited were very clean and well decorated

Bathroom in our room was spotless I’m not sure what brand of toiletries they supply but the shower gel smelled fantastic! Plenty of clean towels too There is parking structure attached so we didn’t have to go outside to enter the hotel We had burgers at the restaurant there and they were fantastic You can even order a whole pigs head if that’s your fancy Great experience overall The only thing I can complain about is the soga vending machines didn’t work on either floor Kind of a bummer So bring your own snacks and beverages I would 100% stay there again though It’s a really nice place

Kat Toledo (Stace)

Excellent place to stay at I did it for the Day Stay option they have for 80 bucks You have to pay for your meals but is 100% worth it

Top notch hotel Staff was extremely nice Room was equipped with Stove top, refrigerator, dishwasher, real silverware, dinnerware and glasses

Room was very clean Beds were extremely comfortable Had a shower to die for We had access to amenities at no extra charge Provided a very healthy breakfast, fresh fruit, yogart, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, etc Highly recommend staying there

Alix del Toro

First, when we were asked about the quality of our stay by the gentleman checking us out, the concierge (blonde lady) next to him scolded us when we simply asked a question A few other things disappointed us There was a pool of blood in the pool room

My wife kindly let the concierge desk know about it In the 30 minutes we were in the pool area it was never cleaned Then, on the Sunday morning, we came down for breakfast and there were 25 airport cargo employees who came in off their shift and wiped out the breakfast buffet And they were rude I get it They were staying at the hotel too But the hotel was aware of their schedule and did not plan for it It would be like a restaurant taking a reservation for a large party and not preparing a head of time thus disrupting their service availability to the other patrons No restaurant would do that out of fear of alienating the other patrons And that is what happened Other guests, who like ourselves were enjoying a vacation at a nicer hotel, were thrust into what felt like a workplace cafeteria It ruined our experience And from the comments we heard of the very shocked other guests, it ruined their experience too

Pat Simmons

Great new hotel right across the street from Mall of America A fantastic restaurant 100 feet away named Hazelwood Food and Drink Rooms are spacious and are made for long stays with kitchens and refrigerators

On site lounge and grab and go breakfast Only draw back is being close to the airport, the takeoffs and landings can get a tad loud at night and the morning

Customer service was exceptional I tried to get the women’s name that helped us check in and couldn’t get it But she was wonderful and made my daughters birthday stay feel very special

So awesomeThe room was beautiful, unique and very cleanWe loved the hotel was connected to the mall We never had to leave that was super coolOne thing that I thought was the pool was supposed to be salt water but we smelled a lot like chlorine Not a big deal the pool was also fun and loved the tables we got to have dinnerWe will absolutely be back!

Mark Drury

Hotel is very nice Radisson needs to focus on building more ‘Blu’ hotels in the USA Staff was extremely friendly, great shuttle service to and from the airport and local businesses

It’s attached to the Mall so easy access to shopping The on-site bar was excellentThe rooms were very nice but the walls were very thin; could hear doors closing down the hall and the loud TV from the next room over Overall a good stay

Denise Morgan

We came with our son for spring break The lobby is so cool and comfy The rooms were fun and funky

The bed was a little firm for me but the pillows were perfect Note that the room service menu is on the TV along with other information We kept looking for a book The in- house restaurant, Firehouse Grill is so yummy I loved that the hotel was attached to the Mall of America, it was so convenient My only complaints are that there are not many channels to watch on TV, unless you want to pay for on demand, so we just streamed from our phone The main chair in our room was stained with ink, a drink of some sort, and full of dirt The rest of the room was very clean though and we spent most of our time exploring so not a big deal The shower was a rain head with a hand attachment as well Heaven! The pool is nice but not very big It fills up fast and there is also no hot tub Room service was awesome Would definitely come again I wish I took better pics

I really wanted to leave a 5 star review, but couldn’t The rooms are spacious and modern The breakfast is good

I can’t give it 5 stars because of the atrium noise Guests are to follow the quiet rules beginning at 9:00 There was a wedding reception that was still going strong at 11:00 The reception was in a ballroom/meeting room, but some of the the reception guests used the atrium They were loud Very loud If paying guests are to follow the quiet hours, then should reception guests

The bathrooms are small, mildew on the ceiling in the shower Needs an update and added ventilation to it The deck door froze over and once it warmed up it melted to the bottom

No drainage holes The living area is nice and roomy Had a room with two queen beds Did not use the pool, no sitting area (table/chairs) The attached restaurant has really good food, will definitely return for that

Had an incredible experience at the Embassy during a recent post-Covid work trip The hotel made hospitality feel like the good old days Front desk was very swift and attentive

However, the bar was set in the restaurant this trip Shannon the manager had a stacked house and her staff ran the place like pros Shannon cultivated a connection with many guests, despite how busy they were Azure, a new waitress, was equally exceptional Service was fast and my entire Corporate team will now know this is the place to stay on our next visit Highly recommended

Had a great stay; staff was excellent, friendly and helpful Rooms were very nice and clean It’s great being able to get Starbucks at pretty much any time

The main hotel areas were very nice and well kept If I had anything to complain about at all it would be that I didn’t care for the pillows they use in the rooms, they weren’t comfortable for me

Stay away, rude and mean staff!Hotel was a little “tired” as far as the facility but the real problem came with the hotel staff, it all started at check-in The guy checking me in was very short and a little snooty to say the least, not really anything specific just a little rude, not warm and welcoming at all The next issue came with the hotel bar where the bartender was very, very rude when my wife and I were ordering drinks

Lastly one morning when I was working in the lobby I was using a conference room to do some computer work done I went into this room because it was noisy in the lobby and I had some calls to make The door was unlocked and open all the way The sign on the door said conference and has no mention of being reserved or off-limits I left my laptop in this room to step out to the restroom When I returned the door was closed and locked with my computer inside I went to the desk to ask them to unlock the room and the woman immediacy began scolding me for using the room without permission I told her there was no sign on the door and it was wide open She continued to treat me like a child that had knowingly broken a rule Another lady at the front desk then got involved and walked me to the room At this point as she was unlocking the door she too began talking down to me like I was knowingly breaking some rule I explained to her if the room was reserved if off-limits they should have a sign or simply lock the door! She then said there is a sign, but she couldn’t show me on because there wasn’t one! Then she basically accused me of trying to steal my own computer! Stay away! Terrible hotel with terrible staff!!!

Looking for a place to stay, while my husband needed special care at Abbott Northwestern Cardiac Center Only minutes away from the hospital, everything was as Promised Clean, contemporary, and great service! Restaurant was refreshing, and accommodating

And their security measures were not obvious, yet gave me a secure restful night sleep I definitely would recommend staying! I will return under better circumstances!

We had a pretty large group(including the wedding party) choosing to stay at this hotel for our son and daughter-in-laws wedding I did have more than a few bumps along the way with the room block and was a little nervous how the accommodations would be, however about a week before the wedding, Scott the front desk manager got involved and he is wonderful to work with! He made sure everything was on point and taken care of He routinely checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed for the 4 night stay, and even upgraded the rooms for the Bride and Groom, and for my husband and I

The rest of the staff were very nice and helpful as well! They even knew or son’s dog by name and gave him pets when they saw him! Overall we had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to stay here again

Fairly new hotel, smaller shared spaces with what looks to be a fair amount of conference room rentals Rooms are a couple notches better than a Courtyard, though a couple notches lower than a premium hotel Slightly upgraded features

For a work trip, I’d definitely consider For a personal trip, I’d look to another option in the Marriott groupPro tip: Parking on side street is 2 hr meters that start at 9am For a couple dollars, you can park there overnight until 11am Otherwise, there is a lot (albeit for sale) across the street that is just a few dollars more until the next day
