I really wanted to like this placeThe best thing about this hotel was the staff, the view and the free parkingWe had to call the front desk three times the first night and we checked in after 10pm

Firstly, we reserved the room specifically for three people The third person slept on the sofa but there was no additional linens or blankets in the room so we called to get those brought to usSecondly, the shower water was cold We each got tepid to cold showers The front desk told us to let it run for a bit and sent someone to check the boiler However, I really think it just takes 30 minutes for the water to get hot That should not be the solution right?Thirdly, as each room has a shared door to the next room, the walls felt very thin Our neighbor was so loud on her phone talking about drunk friends and such at almost 3am We had to call the front desk to tell them to be quiet The staff was very responsive and helpful with every requestOutside of that first night experience, the room was really outdated, worn and simply boring The bed and sofa, linens and pillows were nice However, the floors, colors, furniture, curtains, everything else was just old, drab, worn, chipped, dented or blah It must have been a beautiful hotel 15-20 years ago but this place really needed some updatingFinally, if you’re looking for a family friendly environment, this isn’t it This hotel is great for young people who want to be in the happening place where you can be loud and drink and party all night Not good for families or if you want a quiet hotel

Aaron Quan Chan

Tabitha at the front desk was extremely nice, welcoming and kind in explaining where everything was While the staff were great, the room was lacking There was a large gap under the door made worse by a section of the door missing due to impact

The shower head leaked most of the water unless held in a very specific manner and a few burn holes in the shower curtain made it feel very uncared for While the area is amazing and I’d have liked to have stayed long enough to try the on site restaurant, I was disappointed by the roomFrom the other posts and responses here, we may have gotten a lemon of a room, but I hope this review isn’t seen as a complaint and instead can be an opportunity for the management to prevent that from being an issue

Ericka Bowman

I cant express how amazing my stay there was! The customer service is what literally made me cry! Ryan in guest services was an angle He was so kind and attentive! When I walked up to the desk to check in his genuine smile made me feel welcomed! He took his time going over all of the options ( because I booked the wrong rooms on-line)and he was so patient with my 20,000 questions He helped calm my nerves when I expressed my tension from planning a teenagers birthday celebration and made sure we were set up perfectly! Through out the day I reached out, and he was always there to answer any questions or provide any needed services

Ryan was a true rockstar Vanessa was also amazing! I will definitely be staying at this property again It was clean and in the best location Restaurants and retail literally all around you… a complete dream hotel stay!

Super clean and comfortable rooms Even the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash smells amazing! Not like your normal hotel hygiene productsAmazing pool, even more amazing complementary breakfast

The best part was the customer service Everyone we encountered behind the front desk was prompt, informative, and super helpfulWe’ve paid hundreds of dollars to stay in super upscale hotels, but this Fairfield Inn has given them all a run for their money A++

Akacia Powell

I had an amazing stay! The hotel is clean, rooms are very stylish, and the bed is super comfy The shower was awesome and even the soap in the showers smelled really good We checked in on 5/27 and the employee at the front desk was so sweet

She saw that my husband and I just got married and sent a gift basket up to the room and gave us complimentary drink tickets We reserved a king room which was sold out so she gave us a king suite room which was amazing! I would rebook this hotel 10 times over I can’t wait to stay here again Thank you to the lady who checked us in and and was so sweet All the staff were great Breakfast was the only average thing It could be tastier, but ok for complimentary breakfast

Susan Johnson

The staff was friendly and attentive One sweet staff lady went the extra mile to offer me help when I was lost Rooms were clean and beds comfy

I was surprised that no hair dryer was in the room The soap/shampoo/conditioner despenser was new to me and decent product Breakfast was good, luv the waffles and bacon! No fresh coffee for early morning The location was good and convenient to the mall and surgery centerSide note fun fact; Katy Fwy is (or was?) In Guinness Book of WW as the largest freeway in the 🌍

I stayed here for a few weeks while working on a project and I grew so attached LOL The hotel is not super close to anything, but that also makes it kind of a peaceful escape from the city shuffle The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and decorated nicely

Great views in all directions There’s a Starbucks cafe in the lobby, and my personal favorite feature is the outdoor pool and hot tub, which were mostly empty while I was there There’s also a small but well equipped gym facility Would definitely recommend booking here

Michael Boothe

The customer service at this hotel is amazing! Especially our concierge/attendant (not sure what his title is) at the front Sean Everything we needed he was on top, froM needing a cart brought to our room for luggage or someone showing us how to use the remote They really made us feel at home, even when we thought we had ridiculous requests

Sean you deserve a raise Thank you for an amazing stay!

LyAnn Matamoros

We have stayed here before while traveling to Houston and this time it was not pleasant Rooms are cleans and cool But when I went to lay down, I kept smelling a funky smell

I lightly sniffed the blankets a few times and then I sniffed the pillows All the pillows smelled like mildew I called the front to let them know and they offered to transfer us to an upgraded room or to send new pillows So they gave us a suite We moved to the suite and the pillows all still smelled like mildew I called the front again to let them know The security went to go find us some “foam pillows” which were different from the ones in the room They didn’t smell so we took them The sofa was old and dirty As you sat down, you sunk right in and felt like you were sitting on the rods in the sofa The bed was so uncomfortable, both of our backs were sore the next morning Won’t be coming backAlso, they charged me an extra $50, so I automatically assumed it was for a deposit or some sort, but if I should have known this or not, during check in, the host should tell you that they will be doing so The guy that checked me in didn’t say anything about it So it was kind of unexpected for me

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel This web site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area

I have been coming here for years If you stay for a few days you won’t be let downReally enjoyed my stay here You can tell that the rooms are older The view of the lake was just what i needed daily I started here for bushes and it was perfect for my needs They do have a bar and food selections are limited They also serve free breakfast in the mornings

Rachel Phương Lê

Very comfortable bed, spacious They have a walkway with a little bridge that you can walk across to restaurants and shopping, great for jogging as well They are also pet friendly, great area to stay!Downside is they don’t clean the place very well so our room smelled like dog pee

Their selection for breakfast is extremely limited There were instant eggs and sausage patties, instant oatmeal and cereal Ask for drinks milk and Orange juice, extremely limited The pool is very small, and there are no microwaves in your room, you must walk down to the lobby to heat up everything

Steve Flaherty

Customer service is severely lacking I don’t blame the staff, as I question the management The keys are always having to be reconfigured

They might have Diet Coke or Coke, but rarely both Nice rooms and location But in all my travels, this place does not meet expectations! I don’t look forward to coming back every week only to be confronted by a hotel that doesn’t appreciate the ‘customer experience’ They have good people but their hands are tied Not a typical Hyatt, from my experience Wish I had something better to say I’m disappointed with this place

I rented a room at this hotel close to the departure time When I checked in I asked for a quiet location I was given a very quiet spot and thoroughly enjoyed my stay

The bed was very comfortable A mini fridge and coffee maker with pods worked well The cleaning staff kept the room nicely clean a and fresh It was a very great experience Location right off Westpark Tolley made getting there and departure convenient

My stay was pleasant, the young lady that checked me in was sweet and helpful Now on the other hand the girl after her was ON THE DAMN PHONE and her face showed she didn’t want to be present at work Anyway room was decent I’m just ready for the day all hotels update the decor carpet and if not ANYTHING the darn BATHROOM

Housekeeping pay just a bit more attention to bathrooms Not dirty but your occasional hair here and there and I have short hair,(scalp) Oh can’t forget why i gave it 4 stars I checked in smoothly, was informed that I could pay cash for deposit and collect it in the AM Went to collect but the girl on the PHONE wasn’t there on the phone 😂 so I called spoke with a lady she informed me that she would have her manager call I said I won’t be getting that back Then she called , got my info then verified who I was and mailed my deposit Y’all are Rockstars!!!!!

Located conveniently close to several of the MD Anderson facilities on the West Katy highway

It was built in 1983 and changed hands several times Hyatt is working to restore it to its original grandeur They’re not quite there yet Public places are quite nice, but in our room (5104) the sink had pulled away from the wall slightly and settled about a half inch Some of the corners had drywall issues and needed to be retaped The TV controller was either not very intuitive or perhaps should have been replaced by one that worked properly Temperature control was great The room was spacious The first floor bar offered food service, which was pretty decent, and the wait staff (Kristen) was outstanding My choice of dessert was the air fried bread pudding It’s an interesting idea, but it needs a few tweaks if, like me, you enjoy the traditional soft custard consistency of bread pudding There was a bit too much crunchy outside and not enough soft, smooth inside for my palate Next time I’m there (and there will be a next time) I’ll try the Key Lime pie instead

What wasn’t absolutely perfect?! The staff made this the most memorable moment of our lives! I met with the front desk 7 hours before I had could check in to drop off flowers for my wedding night

those, flower petals in the shape of a heart and chocolate covered strawberries was waiting for us that evening! I am so impressed with the wonderful gentlemen sharing his life experiences and wonderful family really showed wonderful spirit and kind soul So kind, I even feel as though they gave us the most romantic room ever with an even more beautiful view! God bless you and thank you for your graciousness

Pzl Box

I was lucky enough to pickup my reservation during the CoronaVirus policies Houston has been enforcing on every business at an extraordinarily cheap rate The hotel is geared to massive conferences which makes their amenities plentiful The atmosphere without the conferences makes you wish you could have a condo suite and never leave

Their restaurant was the perfect morning treat The pond fountains, lobby plants and skylights makes you feel you are vacationing somewhere exotic I absolutely loved the hotel and will try to score another visit in the near future to Houston just to stay here

We checked-in via and the app Our room was clean and at a good temperature and had all the items we needed The staff was friendly and greeted us when we arrived and when in the lobby

The pool was a great size and perfect for kids There are chairs, tables and umbrella if needed There are plenty of restaurants in close proximity along with a mini fridge located in your room

Ashley Ramos

Recently stayed at this hotel, it was nice and well maintained only got taken by surprise for a deposit hold of $50 per room that I was never informed on Which was no problem but could cause issue with guests not expecting this extra step Walking into the bathroom in my room

Bar of soap was opened and recently used I believe the small products in the bathroom all come sealed for a reason last but not least there was a piece of plastic maybe residue of a glove in my breakfast as shown in the picture Other than that it is a nice place to stay

Kraken

Despite sending us to a room without a bed, the entire experience was great Everything smelled and felt perfectly clean, and the staff went well out of their way to care for us Excellent service, the breakfast was fulfilling, and we felt safe the entire time

No issues with noise and the beds were very comfortable Will be returning again!

We needed a place to stay for a few days and thought it’d be nice to have a small kitchenette and hang out near the Katy Asian townOverall, it’s a decent place with free breakfast Note, it’s a pet-friendly hotel and they don’t separate the rooms so if you have severe pet allergies, you can check with the staff to try and get a room that didn’t have a pet previously

For example, Jasmine was awesome and helped us out as much as she couldIt was safe and fairly quiet though sometimes you’ll hear the occasional pet and footsteps from above Let’s not forget the door slams from your neighborsIt’s also just a few minutes away from the Katy Asian town where you can pick up all kinds of great food, desserts, and groceries

Brett Davies-Young

Rooms are studio style, spacious and a little more exciting than your average hotel layout TV on a swivel so can be views from bed or couch My room had a kitchenette, didn’t use it but always nice to have

Bed was fine for me, and pillows were medium to soft- I like that The room HVAC unit is in the wall, and is noisy, but doesn’t run very often Breakfast doesn’t have lots of options but, it’s something: oatmeal, toppings, cereal, various milks, some fresh fruit, bagels, muffins, pre made waffles, and some (tasty) egg options The best part was the lady running it- very friendly Overall the hotel decor and space is clean and tidy I thought the weekday price was very fair for everything offered at $116 after taxes

Chad Booth

Nice property!Safe area and clean roomsThey did “run out of towls” while we were there But, the nice night time front desk clerk got us more

We will definitely stay here again

There was no sense of urgency at check in, location was not great The hotel is right across the freeway from Methodist West, on the feeder off Greenhouse Definitely car dependent & not convenient if last minute items are needed

Clean, have a bar, room was modern with a ceiling fan & comfortable Was told breakfast would be from 6-10 Went down at 7, to a very empty dining area Asked the front desk about the breakfast and was told no breakfast that morning that’s all she knew and was told to say She indicated she was the manager I felt her attitude was dismissive and unaccommodating The staff and location made this a place I do not want to return

Angela Owens

Great customer service! Partial day rental available!! Amenities are superb

Shower is plenty big enough for twolarge showerhead, places for soap, shampoo and conditioner (provided for you) Lots of countertop space at sink! Unfortunately I must give a bad review Hate to do that We stay at Marriott a lot

There were several problems: 1 The water pressure was low We checked out several rooms and they all had the problem 2 The chair for the desk was really bad We had to find two chairs from the hallway and from another room 3 It was difficult to read the labels on the microwave 4 The in-room telephone did not work at all 5 The breakfast was really bad If you are looking for hot food, good luck Only the bacon was OK, but even it was overcooked Good things: 1 sleeping was good 2 A/C was good 3 Room and hotel was clean 4 Parking was great 5 The carts for moving luggage was good 6 The hotel was cool 7 Access from highways was good

Jacqueline Strickland

Staying here now my 1st day out of a 4 day reservation has not been a good experience I walk out of my room this morning and in the hallway you see trash, foods of containers in the hallway How did the general manager solve the problem

Trash in the hallway isn’t unusual Housekeeping doesn’t come in until 9am Then refrigerator leaks and ruin my MOD pizza I ask if I can change room where the refrigerator is not leaking, since the receptionist said that a room is available on the fourth floor Manager said no we have no rooms available for you, we can only have maintenance fix your refrigerator

Milano Don

Guy my advise to you is this is the hotel to book for your stays for real Majority of the hotels I have been in during my travel exploration has always had something wrong with their gym or something There’s free coffee, gym, where you can actually workout and stuff

I enjoyed my stay here for real Lol they also had a machine for free juices What I didn’t ask was if they had an outside pool I guess that will be for next time

I was miserable and desperate in need of a clean, comfortable and affordable room for the night This place far exceeded my expectations! The room was huge The pool was clean, so was the fitness center

The entire hotel was spotless The staff was genuinely friendly And the breakfast bar had blueberry pancakes I was really blown away by this place Everything was 5 stars or better!

Brannon Happacher

The room was all around better then expected Usually in my experiences, they somehow make the room look much bigger in the photos then it actually is But not in this case

And just as presentable as well Service at the front desk was very accommodating too Only complaint wouldn’t be anything owed to the hotel itself but to Google maps Tried to get me lost just before I hot there lol! But in all A wonderful experience for sure

I stayed at this hotel with my family (including small kids) We loved the space in the room, the complimentary breakfast and the evening reception The kids loved the indoor pool

The room was clean and comfortable The breakfast food was good and included an omelet bar The indoor pool was heated and warm on a very cold day It was, overall, a great stay We would definitely stay again

Kirsten Kelley

We stayed in a 2 room Suite $180 after taxes for a room that comfortably fits 4(we had 5) It was me, my husband, and our 3 boys ages 8,9, & 12

The boys said their sofa bed was really uncomfortable but our bed was great Breakfast was extremely impressive, they had a full range of hot foods like French toast, Grits, & meats FRESH fruit, every type of danish & bread you can think of and freshly made omelets with whatever ingredients you choose Overall room is a 4/5 and breakfast a 9/5 🤗

Kristen Bray

This hotel was very clean and convenient to west Houston / energy corridor They had plenty of staff working and bussing tables / wiping down immediately during busy breakfast hours, which was a plus We would definitely stay here again

Next time we might ask to try to get a room on the back though because with convenience of the location also comes interstate noise! We had a very enjoyable stay though

Spacious and comfortable Embassy Suites Continental breakfast is better than some diners The entertainment area bar could do well with stocking higher quality liquor choices but not bad and happy hour gratuitously provides free cocktails

Happy Hour food was also good Suite cleanliness status was 7/10 Housekeeping if possible should make this at least 9/10 Overall great stay at this location!

Great Hotel! The staff (Eugenia especially) is AWESOME!! My husband and I came in from out of town on April 29, 22 for our niece wedding We called the hotel and asked for early check in, they were short on housekeepers, but was able to grant our request Eugenia at the front desk is Amazing! She is professional, caring, understanding, patient, kind, and she remembers your name

She make the guess feels at home We enjoyed our stay and yes, we will be back!

We stayed here for 2 nights this month for my bday getaway and had no complaints The front desk staff was very helpful and sweet Breakfast was provided and was good for a more simple menu

Our room had a king bed and was clean when we arrived I just wish I knew where they purchase the pillows from because they are so comfy 2nd time we stayed at a Drury Hotel and would recommend to anyone

This hotel was amazing The breakfast was good every morning, the lunch/dinner was always on point, and they gave you free drinks to go along with it The manager was super friendly, all the employees that we ran into during our stay where also very friendly, the facilities were in great shape, really no negatives to review about on our trip

They are also super close to a gas station and pappasito’s restaurant if you need to get out and get something you can walk to them
