This hotel went above my expectations I hadn’t stayed at a Choice hotel before, nor heard anything special about them The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional

The hotel is clean, spacious, and safe-with great nighttime lighting in the parking lot Checking in and out was super easy, too!Our corner suite room was spacious and clean The only thing I’d recommend to the hotel is to add more furniture, including a table in the large room foyer, another cushion seat in the living area, and maybe a coffee table in the kitchen area The bathroom was spacious and clean

B W

The staff were superb! Very friendly and welcoming They acknowledged us each time we were in their presence I wished they had a complimentary breakfast like other Choice hotels; however, the comfort of the bed outweighed the breakfast available

We loved the setup of the room and could tell it was a newer hotel All the amenities that you would need were available We were even able to get laundry soap complementary, which was a blessing because we had run out of what we had brought along with us The washer and dryer were surprisingly a decent price and it was convenient to the gym with a TV to wait

Melissa Rowe

Not only was the hotel very clean and equipped with all the amenity’s but the staff was exceptionally friendly especially Ms Von!!! She was such a pleasure Ms

Von always had a smile on her face and willing to help with anything we needed Ms Von made it feel like I was walking into a relatives home every time I walked through the doors

I have stayed in every kind of hotel from 1 star to 5 stars This was by far the best experience I have had at a hotel The hotel was what I expected for the price but the staff

the staff was unbelievable They made my stay so comfortable and convenient I’m the type of person who looks for flaws when I spend a lot of money My wife says I complain too much Not only did I have no complaints, I was impressed Way above and beyond The breakfast selection was fresh and satisfying The bar had a cool vibe, the pool was clean and warm The kids couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel I never leave reviews, so if you book this hotel you will be extremely satisfied with your choice!

I have been meaning to get around and leave a review but I am little behind My mother and I stayed at this location for a family event in February this year It was a phenomenal experience

The staff here always goes above and beyond, the location is always extremely clean, and the coffee is amazing On this particular visit my mother had to have assistance and needed help back to the room Michele assisted my mother and got her all the way back to our room and was so kind about it My mom couldn’t stop talking about how she had not made her feel bad at all for asking for help It was a great show of compassion and empathy on Michele’s part and we were grateful for the interaction Great place I definitely recommend!

Courtney Duskin

I was extremely impressed by this hotel! So clean, so we’ll managed, and pretty quiet :)!Really tiny gym and laundry on site for convenience Used the laundry with the help of the desk giving us a few dollars of changeFantastic breakfast!Would definitely stay here again when in the area

Karla Gutierrez Carreon

This is definitely not dog friendly, they didn’t let us leave the dogs alone for a few minutes they had to call us back to the hotel just because they barked Our dogs have good behaviorits just that At the time, someone went passed our room and called the front desk Too: The front desk lady is rude

Three: the bathroom curtain was full with mold And the room service didn’t sweep the floor For: the elevator was very dirty, I could see hand prints

Amazing! The staff is beyond accommodating The rooms were beautiful and the location perfect You get a complimentary breakfast each morning either delivered to your room or any where in the hotel you prefer

At 5pm they have a wine and cheese hour and at night cookies and milk In the lobby they have a coffee stand with iced tea and flavored waters as well as a candy dispenser There are also games and a sitting area to play them There is a roof top / terrace with couches, tables and chairs giving you views of the city We will definitely be coming back to stay If I had to say anything negative- there is only one elevator which runs constantly and our room was across from it so every time it was being used we could hear it There is also a hotel being built directly across from it , blocking views depending on your room Luckily we were there on weekend / holiday so didn’t have to hear them working, but I am sure it gets loud But this place is a MUST if going to the area

Pamela Carringer

This hotel is a welcoming place with great service and wonderful amenities Doug was super helpful with info about the area The location is walking distance to many of the historic sites and convenient to the local free shuttle to get to points further away

The wine The wine and cheese cocktail hour was a relaxing way to unwind and the breakfast was topnotch The staff was very accommodating They let me keep my car in the garage for the day after checking out I would highly recommend the Harbor View

Gary Saunders

We have looked for a hotel in the past near the market and the Battery when we wanted to stay in Charleston With 53 rooms, this is a small hotel Great service and attention by the staff

Nice touches like a continental breakfast with many choices served in your room, the atrium, or the rooftop terrace, afternoon wine and cheese, or milk and cookies (warm) in the eveningIf you’re looking for a great view of the harbor, you’re going to be disappointed But the location and convenience, the amenities, and the room comfort make up for that

I have been coming here for years If you stay for a few days you won’t be let downThere are just no words to describe how very nice The Charleston Place is From check in to check out, everyone was so cheerful, pleasant and accommodating We stayed at club level which was well worth it The food was so delicious that we cancelled reservations one night What an awesome week!

David Engstrom

Wonderful hotel Great location, but there can be some evening noise from people on Market Street Friendly service except I’d say valet parking experience was just average

Spa/massage was wonderful Loved the Palmetto Cafe for breakfast Lindsay was one of the best servers I’ve ever had; a true professional A coffee maker in the room was the only thing missing

Kara Christine

What a gorgeous hotel! We were greeted in the front entrance, which is delightfully private, by a friendly staff member who took care of our luggage and valeted our car The lobby was opulent, with a sweeping double staircase and the largest chandelier I’ve ever seen Rafael checked us in and was wonderful to work with! I could really tell he enjoyed his work and cared about our comfort and happiness

We were escorted to our room and Ben (if I recall his name correctly) kindly showed us all the features of our roomOur room was equipped with a beautiful balcony with a view of the city and the water Nice toiletries, gorgeous marble bathroom, bathrobes and slippers, large TV, ample closet space, pretty typical luxury hotel amenitiesDuring our stay, we enjoyed the pool which was quiet and not crowded, the Palmetto Cafe which had a wonderful staff, the Clocktower Terrace which was great for tanning and drinks, and room serviceThe hotel is located in a central location and the best of Charleston is within walking distanceI have stayed at many luxury hotels and this one easily competes with the best of them!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at PH and we could not be more satisfied with our entire experience! It’s the perfect venue for an intimate event We had our reception in the Rose Room with 28 guests and there was enough space for everyone to feel comfortable and have an amazing evening dancing, eating, and drinking The staff was incredibly attentive and fun, the food was incredible (we got so many compliments from our guests), and the in-room bar added the perfect touch

We worked with Anna as we were planning our event and she was so professional and helpful beyond measure! She made the entire planning process seamless and we were so appreciative of her attention to detail I would highly recommend PH for the perfect Charleston wedding venue! My husband and I also stayed in the honeymoon suite which was everything we could ever dream of So grateful we were able to celebrate our marriage here!

Our experience at the Post House Inn restaurant was substandard compared to prior visits The menu is significantly different – minimal seafood options, two burgers…really? Previously the restaurant offered creative, unique options as a fine dining restaurant would Not any more

Maybe the chef changed? Appealing to a different demographic? Prices have increased and teen staff were not knowledgeable or friendly The Post House needs to take lessens from their sister restaurant- Basic Kitchen Excellent meal there with knowledgeable staff and delicious options Doubtful we will return the the The Post House

Erica Périard

A great experience! We went for my husband’s birthday I made a reservation online with a note and Michelle, our server, immediately brought it up and said happy birthday My husband had the market fish cassoulet and I had the pimento burger (a great vegetarian option); both were remarkable! We ordered dessert, but they also brought out a cookie with a candle in it for my hubby — so nice! We will definitely be back

Stayed 5 days while in town for a baseball tournament It was really comfortable I appreciated the extra space

The pool was a little snack for larger groups With all the kids we had there wasn’t much room for anyone else to swim They have propane grills which is nice! Across from shops and restaurants Laundry room and fitness center Overall we were happy and would stay here again

Karen Ellerbe

I was not impressed with the room at all When we entered, the shower floor was dirty Hair was all over the bathroom floor and in the shower

After I cleaned it, I took the most awkward shower ever The shower head was put in for someone tall and it could not be adjusted The top floor was rowdy all nightevery night This particular room may need a dehumidifier, as wellOn a positive note, the front desk clerks were always cheerful and helpful The location is perfect because it is in close proximity to Starbucks, shopping malls, and restaurants in Mt Pleasant

Andy F

Felt at home here Proper kitchen and refrigerator+freezer and lots of space Also close by to lots of good restaurants and shops in Mt Pleasant

Gym is sufficient for 3-Star hotelWifi also worked great for videoconferencingOnly improvement area is you have to explicitly ask for them to clean your bathroom AND bed each day, or they won’t clean either There were some times they cleaned the bathroom without cleaning the rest of the room But very responsive and consistent when you ask them to do it, including respecting the times you ask them to clean

The hotel was very clean and the staff was super nice As far as the rooms go, the beds are super comfy and the bathroom was a pretty decent size I definitely agree with people saying it’s very minimal, yet elegant

This describes the hotel perfectly! The only complaint I had was that their food quality was kinda low for my expectations of such a nice hotel The bartender also failed to tell me there was an $11 extra charge to add something to my drink, so I paid $26 for a cocktail that was mediocre at best I couldn’t even finish it

Tolu Olagbaju

Great food at Eliza bar for dinner and Jen was a great bartender She made some great recommendations for our trip into the city Breakfast was delicious with gluten free options and amazing hash browns

Chelsea was amazing and really helped me sub-out options for my needs Great service from the waitress Nice rooms with comfortable beds and very nice showers The furniture is super cute and well made with lots of space to put away our clothes There is a heated pool which is nice since we came here in FebruaryOnly complaint was the room doors slam very loudly so you could hear people coming and going It did not wake me up at night thoughI would come out here again Front desk staff was kind and friendly and Cotea was always ready to help me with every request I made Everyone was kine and even the maintenance man said hello

Melinda Heath

We stayed for the weekend while we were in town, the staff was very friendly and accommodating It’s nice and quiet and just a short drive into town The bathrooms were probably some of the cleanest hotel bathrooms we’ve ever seen

The rooms were very cute and very clean The pool area was picture perfect! our only complaint was the bed and pillows were the worst bed we’ve ever slept on For the price of the hotel we expected a better bed than what we sleep on at holiday inn express

It’s a lovely property, I was here with friends and family and there was a great outside gathering place with plenty of tables and chairs Rooms were nice, a bit small, we had two queen beds which were comfortable Nice pool area, access to downtown by water taxi and or shuttle

Fish House restaurant was great, food was good and servers were fun and efficient! There’s other bars on the property but we did not go to any of them I Would highly recommend this place

Stephenie Young

Quiet resort, nice to be across from downtown, while easily accessible Nice to use both this and the Beach Club amenities Food was good at restaurants (Fish House the best of all of them)

Pools were clean, water was refreshing, but not freezing The shuttle was always on time and the water taxi, while a few minutes behind, was the perfect way to get back and forth from town Room was upgraded from what I booked, a pleasant surprise Beautiful view and balcony Would definitely stay again

Jenn Deloach

Just got back and loved loved loved it We went at a busy time and it wasn’t crowded Didn’t have to fight for pool spots

Cannot say enough good things about the Wentworth Mansion Truly a place that understands hospitality and fully embraces their role The staff are passionate about the property and fully invested in sharing the history of the mansion and Charleston too

Many of the staff members have family ties going back generations that bring a richness to your visit Disney makes a lot of money teaching “The Disney Way” but those seeking the best in guest relations are far better served by a visit to the Wentworth Mansion Fantastic experience Looking forward to enjoying time with them again!

Sophie E.

My husband and I booked this trip sporadically before he was set to deploy Because of that, we decided to go all out with it The staff from start to finish were absolutely amazing

We were greeted and escorted around everywhere in the mansion, and the food and drinks offered throughout the day are superb! Breakfast in the mornings are cooked in Circa 1886, starting the day off perfect and very full afterwards Each morning was delicious and our waitress was amazing We booked an “experience” with John and got to ride in a 1928 Ford Coupe Model A back in the rumble-seat while he gave a us a tour of the town, explaining it’s history and comparing photographs, topping it off with some drinks in the park! Our room was phenomenal and the history of it alone was incredible! At the top of the mansion is a cupola that used to serve as a fire watch tower and gives beautiful views of the entire city Every night they would put cards outside your room with the times to go up during sunrise and sunset We can’t wait to go back!

We’ve been going to Charleston for the past 4 years on a regular basis, and have tried most of the hotels This is the 4th time we’ve stayed at the Wentworth, and its a lovely hotel, nice staff, beautiful setting and location, and nice easy parking But it just doesn’t seem like a 5 star hotel to me

Surprisingly, other hotels, like the Bennett are rated 4 stars, and their rooms, housekeeping, service are better It has been a sentimental place for us, but it will be the last time we stay there Examples: we wanted box lunches for a tour they booked They couldn’t accommodate, and the recommendation they gave us was closed the day we needed the boxed lunch Housekeeping was very average Blinds weren’t opened when the room was cleaned Not enough towels were left We ran out of conditioner Once I asked, we had plenty of towels, so staff does try to please They just aren’t trained at a 5 star level

Gold Elite member here Stayed 2 days here to visit Charleston Some of the staff were very nice but didn’t have a great experience

The reason for the 1 star is multiple reasons (1) It started when I was trying to book the room online with my AAA card The website showed one rate but refused to book it I called the hotel and they said they would leave a note for management They adjusted it but didn’t lower it to the rate that was online (2) We are paying 250/night for a courtyard When we checked in, the front desk staff was great and super nice but our room completely smelled of a heavy cleaning solution and caused headaches They couldn’t switch us because no rooms were available (understandable) but no discount or other solution was offered It did go away on our second day (3) Our hotel room had only 3 towels for a double queen room sleeping 4 When cleaning staff came into our room, they still left 3 towels Our beds were not made and only trash was taken out (4) Our AC isn’t working properly when we got back into the room on a cool 77 degree night I called the front desk and they sent somebody up but and he basically stood 6 inches from the AC and said it’s blowing cool and nothing he could do He didn’t even check the AC temp with a temp gun and basically didn’t even bother to check the system, filter or anything I lifted up the flap on the actual unit and wiring was exposed with no protected plate I am beyond upset and disappointed at this service for the rate and not up to Marriott standards

Mike K

Was trying to find a place in historic Charleston and found the prices in the $300 range Only planned on staying a night and looked for other options Found the Courtyard by Marriott Mount Pleasant online

It’s about 15 min from downtown and at a great price of $141 The staff was excellent at check-in Rooms were spacious and very clean This is a great option if your not wanting to spend a lot and still be close to historic Charleston

Zuri Gebert

1 Completely unacceptable to receive a confirmation with one price and then receive a notification that your credit card was charged a different charge and when you ask the difference in price

no one can tell you a reason (Spoke with at least 4 different people and no one could explain to us why we charged over)2 Went to use the iron/ironing board and the ironing board was in pieces and broken3 The bathroom door wouldn’t lock the lock wasn’t even lined up correctly to the frame4 There was a youth baseball group there for a tournament, so all night there were kids slamming doors and running down the halls5 We asked and were approved for a late check out (3pm), we leave for a military ceremomy, planning to come back to shower and check outour keys no longer work Speak with front desk and she tells us no one changed our check out to a later time (She was wonderful tho! Super sweet and helpful)-The hotel is a great location but not worth the hassle in my opinion

Considering how much we paid + how talked up this hotel was, the room was okay at best No smart TVs, make up mirror didn’t work after being replaced 2 times, limited (VERY) closet space, gross carpeting I have super high standards when it comes to hotels and this one just didn’t have many of the “basics” that come along with a high price tag

Spa was also okay at best, relaxation room only … no sauna, pools, nothing special Gym was a tiny closet!

Stayed here on our honeymoon, it was a perfect experience in many ways At the time we stayed here (fall 2021) there was no restaurant, though there were several bars with food options I hope they have put a restaurant in since then, check that if it’s important to you!Staff here went above and beyond to make our stay a special one, they were always reachable and courteous

The concierge desk had plenty of helpful tips for things to do both on the peninsula and elsewhereWe stayed during the week, it was pretty calm and quiet during this time Come Thursday night, though, the weekend crowd started to come in There was a notable difference in the noises in the halls and rooms around ours during that time, nothing worth reporting or complaining about, but a far cry from the tranquil calm we experienced during the weekWe tested several spa experiences – the massage we can recommend and the Carolina wrap we suggest skipping (not much more than a rote application of lotions)Location was great – we were able to walk pretty much anywhere on the peninsula, and we had a great view of the bridgeIf money is no problem for you or if you are looking for a nice fancy treat, we suggest the Dewberry!

Check in was painful on Sunday 7/17It seems that the Embassy Hilton Mt Pleasant SC is short staffed that is what we were told by the staff working Guest were lined up in the lobby while the check in desk was trying their best 4 o’clock check in never happened We had to downgrade our reservation to get into suite which was on the first floor pool side around 5

30 pm I understand that children away from home and parents are looking to enjoy the property the pool was still going strong at 11pm an hour after closing making for a loud stay that first night in a room that we settled forOur room was clean although the linens and towels seemed damp like they never finished in the rinse cycle during washing The happy hour on Sunday was filled with guest that still had not checked into a room some waited to after 7 pm to get settledThe happy hour chips, salsa and some cut up veggies went fast as families with children fed them first then parents waited on the long line for a cocktail Nothing special beer wine and mixed drinks the snacks not a selling pointThe bartender explained that there were issues with help and apologized he was the only person on staff that did , a very nice fellow working hard Breakfast was the best part of the stay the staff was nice and efficient the coffee was hot and goodWe chose to check out a day early as after a long day in Charleston we returned for happy hour Monday before heading out for diner Being served was warm cubed cheese and some little toast both were unappetizing with the same goldfish pretzel mix dispensers getting a work outWe have stayed at Hilton properties many many times in the past always our first choice, while making the reservations we finally got the Hilton honors thing worked out this time and were awarded points for our last stays this year– all other stays were lostThe hotel itself is very nice it is brand new we were told while making the reservations on the phone We never received a email confirming our stay I had to call the hotel to confirm directlyThere are always little issues with any stay away from home the staff Sunday here were in over their heads While checking out a day early there was only one attendant who was polite but did not ask us why we were leavingI did inquire why the room rate was increased for weekday stay over the weekend rates I was told it gets more expensive each day during the week of your stay even booked in advance that was a new experienceThis hotel is located in a great location for getting around into the downtown area called the French Quarter The property has good parking , you will need to remind the staff if you are handicapped not to charge you to park in the garage something I had to work out while making the reservation over the phoneThe staff could not answers any questions about the area attractions which was a disappointment my wife did receive a tourist map which was helpful If you chose to stay here be patient while you try to enjoy your stayWe had hoped for a better experience as Charleston is a nice place to spend a few days the Hilton Mt Pleasant needs to manage the staff who clearly can not handle the volume of guest at this time

Love the location My stay at this hotel was great I thought the staff was amazing and very helpful with things to do/eat in the area

The hot breakfast in the morning was out of this world and a great addition, saving from driving out I wasn’t a fan of the $25 night parking, think this is something the hotel should cover I’m a clean freak and is “VERY” detailed My room was cleaned nicely only problem I had was the shower I don’t want to see pieces of long hair on the glass door nor bottom door slide, and dried up soap in the holder from the previous guest when I’m taking one But that’s something that can be fixed So overall, I will choose this location again

My husband and I stayed at the Loutrel for two nights We are locals and have never stayed in the Historic Charleston area We were in the Lounge King Room

We had a great time and felt at home the entire weekend Everyone was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed The amenities were top notch! We felt very special and pampered! The property was magnificent and beautiful! One of the Top places we have ever stayed

Brittany Sutton

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Loutrel The room was very nice and clean, with a stocked mini fridge and snacks that were all complimentary There was a nice range of options for drinks in the mini fridge with several sodas and sparkling waters

We were given a complimentary beverage at check in and there was always water/lemon water/ and tea available by the elevators The rooftop terrace and the bar in the lobby were good places to have a drink All of the staff members we interacted with were extremely helpful and nice, especially Worship and Emily! Valet parking was quick to bring us our car if we wanted to go somewhere We would absolutely stay here again for the staff, amenities, and quality of the room! Also a fantastic location just a block away from many restaurants on Bay Street and the city market

My wife and I came to Charleston to celebrate our first wedding anniversary We were only staying one night, so we wanted to find a hotel close to the market We found The Loutrel and really fell in love with how it looked, as well as it’s proximity to the market and shopping center

The hotel was easy to find and the staff were extremely accommodating Valet and check-in went smoothly When we booked the room, we asked for a room on a higher floor, and we were given a room on the top floor, which gave us a lovely view (we had a corner room with windows) of Downtown CharlestonThe room itself felt sophisticated and romantic The bathroom looked and felt fancy There were complimentary snacks and drinks in our room for us, which we hadn’t had before when staying at other hotels The room Itself was very clean and neatA complimentary breakfast was also provided, with options to either eat in the lobby, our room, or outside on the rooftop lounge We ate out on the lounge, as it was something we wanted to see during our stay It gave us another lovely view of Charleston, and a moment for us to take some nice pictures togetherOverall, it was by far the best hotel experience my wife and I have had together We agreed the price was definitely worth it, from the location and quality of The Loutrel itself

Out of state visitor;Convenient Location, Spacious updated suite room The hotel lacks customer service, no direct verbal contact, front desk agents using headphones paying no attention to their lobby; that is if they are able to be located The first night of my 6 night stay the front desk agent had her polo rolled up while her stomach was completely out resting on the desk

Would recommend the hotel, just not professional!!!

Came down from Nashville TN for a family trip with the wife and her family When we arrived to the hotel we did arrive pretty early before check in hoping we could possibly get into a one of the rooms my wife booked unfortunately one of the rooms were not ready BUT the young lady named Brianna I believe her name was very helpful of making sure we got into at least one of the rooms that were ready and told us she would try her best to get our rooms side by side or on the same floor, it wasn’t even 35 minutes of us checking into one room she called and let us know that she has a room right on the same floor as ours and it was 3 rooms down which was fabulous I loved how even though we checked in an hour early she was still willing to check us into our rooms and we appreciate how the housekeeping staff were also so kind to us

She also helped with good restaurants ideas and seafood restaurants outside of the mount pleasant area which helped us a lot since my wife and mother in law is a seafood eater at heart Breakfast was amazing! Great breakfast staff very friendly The rooms were spot on clean as well which made us even more excited to stay at the springhill suites This has been one of the BEST trips as a family vacation we have been on in Charleston mount pleasant! My wife is already trying to make plans to visit again

Kimberly Kolling

Great experience! We had to switch hotels at the last minute to here and were so thankful for the courteous staff! The hotel looked new and the room was spotless The location was ideal as well The manager even sent a followup email a few days later — probably autogenerated but none of the other hotels we stayed in this week did that so it spoke volumes about their customer service

Let me start by saying I hate the beach Or more accurately I hate sand But that said, we will 100% be back here to Wild Dunes

The resort is very nice, and it’s just got that great beach feel and has all the amenities you come to expect from a resort Every staff member we interacted with is super nice The pools are great and the walkway to the beach is fantastic The bigger pool gets crowded of course and 80% of the chairs have stuff on them but no people leaving no where to lounge though The other negative is food prices are 30-40% higher than places outside the resort but the food quality is not really up with the cost You’re paying for the resort though, not the food quality Again, it’s not bad, it’s just not to the level of the priceThere’s a lot to love about Isle of Palms and this place is definitely one of them Even with the food prices, we will be back We will just have to find a way to have a hot meal in the room without a microwave once a day

Kara Barger

We had our beach brunch wedding here on 5/28/22! It was Memorial Day Weekend Could not recommend a brunch wedding any more!! It was the first we’d heard of it and none of our guests had ever attended one either … it was amazing! Our guests still talk about how awesome that concept was 🙂 The ceremony and reception were done by 2:00pm and our guests got to enjoy a beach day/go into Charleston/nap/chill/etc for the day, and my husband and I got to do a private dinner in Charleston before meeting back up with our guests for an after party at a local rooftop bar

Wild Dunes was amazing to work with!! We’ve been planning this wedding from Canada for 2 years now … we should’ve been married in 2020, but due to Covid, we had to postponeWe could not have been happier to have our wedding here! Samantha Ellyn was an ABSOLUTE gem to work with during the planning process and on the wedding day! She made sure that everything ran smoothly and kept us at ease during it all She answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to make our day perfect! Planning a wedding from Canada can be difficult because we’re so far away, but we didn’t worry because we were in good hands with her and with the resort! The staff on the wedding day was SO lovely! We can’t thank Samantha and the Wild Dunes Resort enough for our perfect weekend Our guests travelled from near and far … NC, SC and from Canada, so it meant a lot to have our day turn out so well !! Simply the Best <3 Wish we could do that whole weekend over again! My husband and I stayed the whole week for our wedding and it was all awesome … great restaurants on the resort too! Can’t wait to visit Wild Dunes Resort again in the future!

Chris Galloway

This place was more than I could have imagined! More than enough room for my family of 6 Staff is incredible! Phenomenal pools splash pad Fire pits plenty of chairs to lay around and relax

Easy access to the Beautiful Beach USE THE VALET!I can’t wait to go back!

I have been a long-standing, frequent guest at the Beach Club Thus, we chose this hotel to stay at for our upcoming wedding this weekend We had a couple from out of town stay with us and their flight arrived late

We enjoyed some time talking with them once they arrived, and were then greeted by hotel staff to tell us to “be quiet” (for details, this was shortly after midnight) To add context, I have stayed at many hotels and do my absolute best to respect other guests and avoid being a disturbance, so I genuinely appreciate the acknowledge and feedback from staff when warranted At Beach Club, their interruption was not warranted and without meritFurthermore, we were once again disturbed for being loud yet staff failed to provide adequate documentation that’s guests sign agreeing to any posted quiet times or “non-talking” periods The next morning, I went to the hotel lobby to address this issue with their staff I was met with mockery and disrespect from a bitter, old receptionist As a result, I asked to speak with the GM whom was polite and understanding yet quick to provide excuses Additionally, the staff cited the hotel as being fully booked but availability is showing online, the parking lot is merely empty, and they still condensed guests into a congested areaOverall, this hotel puts on a front of being 4-5 stars but their staff is extremely rude, disrespectful, and non-accommodating They fail at their most coveted task, which is customer service I am highly disappointed in Beach Club and will be advising friends and family against staying there in the future They had us wait 25 minutes to check in since their employees didn’t want to do their job, they failed to provide water to their guests, and treated us with disrespect throughout our stay thus far

Jason Dubowitch

A generally fantastic facility to stay at, from the rooms to the pool to the views Very clean and beautifully decorated Also, very convenient to downtown Charleston (10 minute drive), not to mention the Fish House restaurant and Patriot Point Maritime Museum, both next door within walking distance

Or, you can take the water taxi directly from the hotel pier to downtown CharlestonA few downers were the apparent lack of enough towels, both in our room and at the pool Also, the mini fridge in our room was extremely mini, not really able to fit much at all, and never really got cold A small microwave in the room would’ve been nice too Still, we would definitely go back

matt m

It’s a good hotel The gate at the front so annoying The brown from the balcony is so good

The hot tub wasn’t working when we were there unfortunately The pool is big so there’s plenty of room to swim around A bar near the pool for drinks They will let you take bikes out and ride around which is cool Not really a beach just a patch of grass with sand on top of it The best part is the little robot who roams the lobby

Just ended a very nice stay at the Hotel Bennett There is no shortage of high end hotels in Charleston and The Bennett did not disappoint Rooms (we had a deluxe king) were clean, comfortable and quiet

The bed was great and the a/c and room darkening shades ensured a restful sleep Beautiful bathroom with plenty of space Only critique is cheap bath towels that did not match up with the quality of the room or bath Overall, the hotel was very nice and staff were pleasant and helpful Shout out to Webb at the front entrance! Nice rooftop bar that we only discovered on our last dayWe liked the hotel’s location that was not smack in the heart of the historic district but just a short walk away and close to many great bars and restaurants, not to mention a lovely park Would stay here again and would recommend to others!Though rated it 4 stars, that’s still quite good in my view I reserve five stars for truly outstanding and amazing hotels

Jacquelyn Bratland Brat

Surprised and Brought my husband to Hotel Bennett for 50th from Oregon It was worth the trip! We have traveled all over and usually stay in 5 star hotels, Hotel Bennett’s service and hospitality was bar none I booked the Kings Club, worth the splurge!! We have done the inclusive floors before, Hotel Bennett surpassed them all

We loved the history of the city, the culture of true southern hospitality and the charm of the old south Hotel Bennett is right in the heart of it all The pool is smaller and nothing to write home about but I expected as much with a Hotel right in the town hub on top of a high rise Shout out to Tammy, William and Kevin Connoisseur ? who use to live in Oregon, forgot your name but we loved you too! Recommended Blueberry muffins from bakery and yes! Worth getting ❤️ They all brought the weekend alive for us as they offered ideas for places to eat and places to roam as we walked the city during the day and went for early morning runs down less traveled streets Please don’t hesitate to book your stay If you are use to quality and service, Hotel Bennett won’t disappoint

Liza McGarity

We have been devoted customers of The Bennett for the past few years but after our current stay, we will not return The pool was not available the entire week of our vacation We were not told upon booking that this would be the case

Two nights in a row, the bartender told us they closed the bar at 10 pm but yet we saw the bartender doing shots with friends Our room was serviced with wet sheets and pillow cases placed on our bed When we called about these concerns, no one seemed to care When you pay $700 per night for a hotel room, you expect a certain level of service This hotel has gone downhill Very disappointing stay Money not well spent Will not return

Mr CEO

This is another great hotel I work at another Hyatt property in town This one is nicely secluded and tucked into the shopping center in Mt

Pleasant, SC The young lady who is a student and traveled here for two years us very knowledgeable I cannot recall her name at the moment The room was nice and clean A really huge parking deck with open entrance and free of charge Room and halls were very clean

Heidi Hoffman

This Hyatt is one of the best I’ve been to We frequently rent the conference room and have guests who stay here who always say how much they enjoy the accommodations In addition to how nice and clean it is, John in the kitchen and Briana at the front desk are the cherry on top

Their customer service, cheerful personalities, and caring approach will make you feel like you are staying with family Make sure you say hi to them, it would make their day The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of great restaurants, shops, and a theater and parking is easy

Nate C

This place is pretty cool It’s right in the center of some shopping complexes along the way to Isle of Palms It’s proximity to the beach and the dog friendly status are why we chose it

I didn’t realize it was actually in an outdoor mall but it turned out to be okay There is even a dog “boutique”Hairy Winston located next to here that my dog just loved going to every day Like she must think she’s my girlfriend cause the dog wanted to go shopping everyday The Hyatt was a wonderful choice of hotels The friendly staff had a low profileness about them which I like The coffee bar was a good touch as well as the regular bar in the lobby I liked my stay and recommend it for others I will consider it again the next time I’m here
