Heritage Oak restaurant had fantastic breakfast options We ended up choosing the Eggs Benedict with crispy pork belly which was cooked to perfection, hen of the wood mushrooms, charred brussel sprouts with lemon hollandaise on the side!! Coffee and Mocha was great quality!! Service was 5 stars!! Thanks for taking great care of us even though your dining room was full!!

Hotel Yountville is the perfect luxury escape in downtown Yountville It’s really charming, it’s very private you feel like you’re in your own villa And I think it is more cost-effective than the other hotels in downtown Yountville

It’s totally walking distance from downtown and they have bikes you can rent as a guest The rooms are very spacious, I’ll have a fireplace in fold tub As of April 2021 the pool was open with some spacing restrictions But masks are not required at the pool I will easily go back again for another special trip Recommend booking as far in Advance as possible as it does book up just like everything else in that town

Laura Lambert

Excellent service, every staffer is friendly and helpful! Room service food was so perfect I took pictures of it!! Pool bartender/staffer, Chris, makes everyone feel welcome!Must go back!! The pool, hot tub and giant gas fire setup is pristine!

Upon check in my family and I were greeted by two young friendly girls One was Maria who was kind enough to get us into a room a few hours before the official check in time And thank goodness cause our kids were ready to start our vacation

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained Maria was able to put us in the cottage right next to the pool which was so worth the extra money when vacationing with young kids The young girl that drove us to town was so sweet and patient with us and our kids Excellent job whoever does the hiring and/or training We will definitely be back this summer!

Rory Weiler

A beautiful property, but when housekeeping is your best service, there are issues No bar, everything stops at 9, and perhaps they just want you to go to your room A very nice, comfortable venue, but lack of food and beverage services is a downside

Wit and Wisdom is an amazing restaurant, but it’s only open 4 hours a day Convenient walk to downtown, they need to provide a more expansive guest experience

Michael Beiter

The place looks very nice on the surface but has some issues The staff is nice which is why I gave them a second star Per the picture below, I was told that this was normal for well water but having lived in the country all my life I can tell you that their well is just not properly filtered

They comped my breakfast but honestly not being able to take a bath for the week wasn’t awesomeAlso it’s important to note that if you’re staying anywhere near the pool area (which I think most are) it’s going to be unbearably bright all night long and there are no curtains in the room The blinds keep out a little bit of the light but you really need to have something to cover up the window if you want to sleep wellBesides a breakfast restaurant being very slow those were the main issues Nice place and nice staff but the rooms need some work

My husband’s company hosted an amazing trip to this beautiful resort The room/suite was immaculate and furnished with top-notch appliances, decor, and amenities Stainless steel, clean, beautiful appliances create a comfortable and beautiful kitchen

This suite also boasts a wine bar complete with sink and wine refrigerator The bedroom and bathroom are separate and beautiful as well There is a patio facing the golf course The patio has comfortable furniture and a grill Both the living room and bedroom have sliding glass doors I’ve been to many hotels and resorts, and I’m enormously impressed with this one! The mansion is also a lovely location for events The indoor and outdoor spaces are lovely Staff is kind, attentive, and accommodating

Janet Ferrari

This place is absolutely the worst They are outright thieves My husband and I have a $600 gift certificate and we have been told that the new management has “changed the rules” about how gift certificates can be redeemed

Boils down to the fact that there is no way to spend this money at the resort without losing a large portion of it $ people have told us 4 different things and we still have not been able to use a legitimate gift certificate in a satisfactory manner at the resort Tried to use it at The Grill and were told we had to spend all of it at one time or we would forfeit the remaining balance Highway robbery Can’t use it for golf – which is over priced anyway Can’t use it for food unless you spend it all at once Can’t use it at the spa – unless you book an experience that costs $600This is certainly illegal, as they don’t publish any restrictions on using it, they just wait until you get here and then explain that there are only very limited ways to use legitimate fundsDon’t patronize this place, they are awful

Mitchell Tu

We arrived, tired, at 2pm and were told that our rooms would absolutely be ready by 4pm at the latest In the meantime, we were literally sleeping on the couches in the main roomCome 4pm, no call or notice was given

So we asked the front desk, which told us there would need to be a wait of 30 more minutes Only after one of our party complained and asked for a refund did they give us another room If you had a room this entire time why didn’t you give it to us to begin with???Incredibly terrible service, the front desk had no sympathy nor willingness to be creative or flexible The rooms weren’t anything special either – you’re better off in terms of amenities at any business chain hotel, especially for the costThe golf course was great, I will say Food was good in the experience I had of it Grounds are pretty but not spectacular

My husband and I had a perfect stay at MacArthur Place in October 2021 We reserved a room with an outdoor shower and it was very romantic The grounds are immaculate and they offer multiple fire pit areas that we enjoyed with our morning coffee and before going to bed at night

Service was always top notch I had a wonder massage at their spa and we had a delicious breakfast at their restaurant, Layla The entire experience was 5 star We have recommended this place to multiple friends and we’ll stay here again the next time we come to wine country Highly recommend!

Amanda Ruth

Found the hotel by happenstance – stopped for a lunch at Layla and fell in love with the property We were staying at another hotel but promptly checked out and checked in at MacArthur Place instead! The property was incredibly beautiful with plenty of winding garden paths between buildings, lots of places to sit and enjoy the scenery with swings and fire pits The room was similarly beautiful and well decorated

Everything in the hotel feels very deliberate and thoughtful, with a perfect mix of luxury and comfort Service was exceptional Hands down one of our favorite parts about the visit here, will definitely come back!

Tricia Tebbutt (AU)

Definitely a 5 star stay Fantastic aesthetics, with a very friendly atmosphere Would highly recommend for a luxury stay in Sonoma

Pros:- Lovely, well kept rooms We stayed in Jasmine Cottage which was spacious and beautiful- Restaurant and bar was excellent- Service throughout the hotel was friendly and efficient (Miranda at Layla was fantastic)We were particularly impressed by the Hotel Manager He is ever present, focused on all the small details of the place, isn’t afraid to help out (we saw him collecting room service plates & cleaning a stain off the floor) and seems to be warmly respected by all the staff The hotel is very well run and that is no surprise, given this type of visible leadershipCons:- Gym is a little small- Drinks service at pool is limited

Ryan Keiffner

Clean and technologically advanced rooms lead to great comfort and charmMy team stayed 3 days/nights at the R Inn and had a wonderful time Board Room was great for our meetings and with the zoom capabilities and large screen display, we were able to teleconference with ease

Sean was a very gracious host and showed great care for all of our team/needs Really quaint and lovely property that seems to attract very nice, hospitable guests Folks we ran into during the stay were regulars and couldn’t agree with us more on how convenient and upscale the accommodations are at R InnDefinitely worth checking out!

Kelly Fox

Nice setting, close to several spots to dine or drink, very nicely decorated Was mostly self service with very detailed instructions for arrival and entry to the property, making it easy to navigate to the room and the amenities Simple and at the same time, elegant

Rooms were a bit small but had everything we neededWe will stay again and will recommend for our families!

James Lee

We dined at North Block to have a great pizza and we surely did have one The classic Margarita was very good The restaurant has a great ambience, perfect for a date night or celebration

The service is top notch Would be great if they add more vegetarian options We tried the squash fritters which is okayish, it is a little too greasy Was very much disappointed with the dessert, sourdough icecream Didn’t know what to expect while ordering it, probably a head-sup might have helped cause it’s not something that everyone will enjoy But it definitely is a great place The ambience, service and pizza made our evening great

Prasad Nair

The ambience of this restaurant is great We had reservations and were shown to our seats quickly The squash fritters were good, bit a little oily and didn’t really taste of squash

The honeynut mousse was delicious though The showstopper was definitely the Margherita Pizza, which was perfect The biggest letdown was the Sourdough Icecream It was too salty/sour, even for a savoury dish, let alone a dessert But I am sure, the other desserts would have been great The service was very good though

Jackie Werner

North Block Hotel goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect in every way From the minute we checked in, we were greeted by Carter, who immediately offered us a variety of wines and was so accommodatingThe hotel decor is beautiful and inviting, with such personal touches

The rooms are incredible and spacious, with beautiful bathrooms and new finishes The pool is also a great amenity that we took advantage of It is centrally located on the Main Street in Yountville and very accessible to anywhere you are trying to goWe are sad we could only stay one night but are already planning our return

Boutique feel to this hotel Open lobby concept with free flow check-in Room was nicely appointed

Fifth floor corner suite with high ceilings and a nice deep soaker tub Stayed two nights earlier this week Staff were great and always happy to assistCentrally located and easy walking to so many great restaurants Easy drive up to the myriad of wineries in the area Would stay here again

Apurva Zawar

Beautiful boutique hotel located centrally in downtown area We had a wonderful two days stay with perfect downtown view facing room Overall, the hotel has very friendly staff with open lobby space, access to their farmer’s table restaurant

The big disappointment was their restaurant breakfast menu (very few options) and no hot beverages for two days as their espresso machine was not working

Dean Throop

The room was just ok Local staff were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful The real issue is Hyatt

Poor policies regarding adjustments and the property is so incredibly overpriced I should not have paid more than $200 per night for my suite, and that takes into account the market rate, location, and the number of people in town

Wonderful 360 views from the Hilltop which has Firepits, gathering areas and a mesmerizing pool Borrow a book and read in a spot of your choosing The Rooms and entrance/front desk sits at the bottom of the hill with meandering walkways and groups of units

Unlike a hotel with halls and rooms, here it’s laid out with rooms as separate “houses” with porches and front lawns Great place to relax, walk, meditate and socialize Shuffleboard and bocci for funMarket where you can purchase sundries, goods, drinks and snacks

David Woon

Only came for dinner on date night! Reservations are a must of you bank on eating here as it does book out way in advance If not you can still come to explore the beautiful grounds with Bocci ball courts, raised vegetable beds, chickens and a market to boot! The enormous covered patio features great loungers and fireside seating where if you did not have restaurant reservations still provide a smaller bites menu from the bar With drinks of course!

I have visited in January, 2022 when I visited Napa, CA, and loved it! The beds were soft, the room was cozy, and it was beautiful at night! Not sure if it is still there anymore, but there were beautiful “Electronic Dandelions” or something like that It was a rather nice hotel and I honestly wish I could move to Napa! Thanks guys! ❤️

Wendy B

I have stayed here twice, once with my husband in January and again with my step Daugher in MayOn my 2nd trip they had a card in my room as well as a bottle of red wine to thank me for using them againThe trip in January we were there January 2nd and most of Napa was closed and doing renovations so I highly suggest not going to Napa that first week or 2 of the new year

May the weather was still a bit chilly but everything was open so we got to enjoy the location and all the hotel has to offerThe rooms both times were clean and nice and the location is fabulous They have breakfast that they get from a little shop that is part of the same building as the hotel and will deliver pastries to your room, or give you $10 per person towards breakfast there at Sweetie PiesThey have great coffee in the room, gorgeous views from both of our stays, friendly and fast help with luggage taken to room and one day I went in and asked the man and lady behind the counter if there was anything going on locally and they gave us FREE tickets to the Blue Note for a concert that was absolutely amazingBetween the views, the friendliness of staff, and location I cant think of a better place to stay in Napa

Rosanne Lang

Perfect location! After spending your days in the vineyards, it’s a wonderful location to walk to many fabulous restaurants in the evening Room was perfect Loved the balcony and view of the Napa River and the sounds of the Napa Wine Trains

Robes and towels were luxurious Loved the option to have Sweetie Pie’s breakfast treats delivered to your room or enjoy it in the shop next door

Maison Fleurie is a petite but luxurious place to reside in Napa The rooms are very small as compared to what’s in the pictures but it is very beautiful, warm, functional and does its job Great reception

They have a wonderful patio and you can enjoy beautiful sunrise from there The staff is really good and addresses all your needs Parking is limited and first come basis, but it’s not really that difficult to find a spot outside They have happy hours in the evening with great wine They also give you picnic bags in the happy hour The best part about the stay is the delicious complementary breakfast which I miss to this date We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back! 👍🏼

Tara Hashemi

Cozy and comfortable bed and breakfast in the heart of Yountville, walking distance to all the good restaurants downtown The room was vintage and nicely decorated, but it could use some updates The mattress was on its legs and the carpets were washed off

But it also had that castle-y feeling to it with one brick wall and one stone wall in the room Housekeeping was friendly and the service overall was pleasant The breakfast had one warm item (different dishes the two days we were there) and granola/fruits/yogurt + bread/bagel and cheese and butter We enjoyed our coffee and breakfast both days There is a charming terrace on the 2nd floor which is very peaceful and inviting with good outdoor furniture, we spent a few hours there having wine and talking and reading I’ll visit again!

Prasad Nair

One of my best hotel experiences ever This bed and breakfast is simply amazing and I would suggest everyone I know to stay hereThe rooms are a bit small and moving around is a bit tight

But when you are on Napa, you anyways spend most of your day outside The breakfast options are delicious and plentiful You also get a happy hour picnic bag and Sterling Wines in the evening between 4:30 to 5:30, which are great touches The upstairs balcony is perfect for watching the sunrise and the hot air balloonsThe staff and the service is amazing Overall a fantastic hotel in Yountville that should be on everyone’s list

Beautiful courtyard and pool! Loved the poolside service, fabulous setting and location Fantastic breakfast in a gorgeous setting Totally recommend! We usually stay at Hotel Yountville and this is very comparable at a much better price with breakfast included

Note: It would be amazing if they made this an adults only location

Patty Vollmar

Beautiful grounds, rooms and staff! Our room had a view of the vines a balcony and a fireplace Breakfast daily off the courtyard, inside or outside tables, server yourself with a lot to choose from including mimosas 🙂 The courtyard has a pool, hot tub, and tons of seating around the pool, and around 3 firepits among so many beautiful flowers Staff offered bottled water, helped with luggage, plenty of parking on site (no fee)

TOO MANY great restaurants within 10-15 minute walk (unless you want to borrow one of their bikes!) I can’t wait to return

Kelly Householder

Would have given this place a 5 star but the room had a terrible smell from the fireplace We ended up having to leave the slider open 90% of the time we were there They need glass on the fireplace to stop it from smelling up the room

That being said, the place is clean, super friendly staff, great breakfast , and a wonderful pool Would go back if there was a room without a fireplace

The first interaction with the front desk was a little m e h Very robotic and precise sticking to a script I’m just waiting for the screen to populate insert your credit card This is your room -go up elevator Call if you need “No warm welcome which I love when traveling 🙂 The rest was wonderful

We stayed 4th of July weekend 2022 Have some mixed feelings but overall very nice The room was small but very nice and comfortable

It was spotless I think they came in twice a day —once to clean and then again for turndown service they always left us a treat–Nice touch That was fabulous We also loved the location and we were allowed to check in early–very helpful after a long trip The rooftop bar had good food and people watchingService terrible The front desk was poor—at one point someone walked in and they were whispering and caddy (I think they thought we didn’t notice) caddy, unprofessional They were young and inexperienced We may stay again or try something different next year but not a bad choice

Last minute reservation, had mixed feelings from reviews This place was nice, staff was all friendly and helpful Room was clean, pool area was kept clean

I did use the hot tub briefly but seen bugs and hopped out Lol nothing major as my husband said it is outside I just don’t do bugs But I was pleasantly surprised by the property Location was great for us just on the outskirts of everything took us about 15 min to drive to Downtown Fridge and microwave in room is always great I would absolutely stay again and recommend

We only spent one night there but we spent more time in the hotel then we actually did wine tasting The happy hour was killer like always and the breakfast was amazing as well Beautiful property with super warm and friendly staff

The pool was clean and warm! It’s about a mile to downtown Napa and we made the trek (in our 40’s) and had a blast in downtown Napa and just Ubered home Can’t say enough about how much we loved it There are plenty cheaper options with better views but you get what you pay for and we had a blast!

Kelly Foster

It is expensive like everything else in Napa, but we enjoyed the cocktail hour and breakfast The pool area was calm and refreshing The ladies at the front desk were kind and accommodating

The one less star is all about the AC The room was 76 when we arrived,! It took awhile for it to get to a decent temp, but it was never consistent At night I (and several others out of our group of 8) woke up sweating one moment and freezing the next With 90 degree days and 50 degree nights in the summer, we should have been able to rely on our room to be more comfortable and consistent with the temperature Otherwise, great stay!

Nicely located in walking distance from the Culinary Institute, various breweries, and restaurants downtown Napa You can also board the Wine Train here (although we didn’t as we were told it’s overpriced and limits access to some of the more exotic wineries) The hotel has a nice bar, restaurant, conference facilities, and outdoor pool

The workout room is fine even for a longer stay We found the staff helpful, friendly, and professional The rooms are modern and well cleaned every day

The Westin Verasa Napa is located nearby to the Oxbow Market and downtown Napa, making the location attractive for many and a much much better option than the Marriott (see my other review on reasons to avoid)The Westin offers spacious rooms, nice pool area, gym and a decent restaurant (haven’t eaten there yet — options locally are incredible)The Westin is very pricey but it’s location makes up for the difference

We’ve stayed here a number of times and it continues to deliver consistently

Kayla handled my reservation and was amazing her customer service is top notch and what I come to expect as a Lifetime Platinum/Titanium Guest of Marriott Bonvoy She was quick and helpful and extremely professional yet kind, as a loyal member I appreciate that type of service it goes a very long wayThis property is one of my favorite in Napa as far as Marriotts are concerned, the beds are extremely comfortable, the room are always clean and big and the hotel is quiet

Out side the pool and hot tub are always clean and there is often available space to hang out by the pool I always receive amazing service while down at the pool Overall the property is beautiful, I love where it is nestled but the customer service by Kayla is the reason I wrote this review Thank you, Kayla, for quickly accommodating my request!

The Real Life Mannequin

This hotel & spa property definitely earned its 5 stars! I’d like to give it a 6th! The staff were so nice and accommodating and the images online really resemble the room tip for tap corner for cornerA few things that make Bardessono hotel & spa stand out from the rest:- The Lexus that shuttles you around the city of Yountville Whether you need to make it to a reservation at Restoration Hardware or maybe just get a few more toiletries to your liking at the local market the Lexus SUV will accommodate you!- The Lucy restaurant is an absolute tasting experiences as the menu is elaborate enough to please a group with different perspectives on preferences

– The bathroom in the king suite is so huge! I loved the steam shower and the outdoor shower! I made time to use both! The bathroom in the King Spa Suite gives you the experience of having your very on spa right in your hotel room!- The pool cabanas are so relaxing, lush and comfortable! The jacuzzi was great! I am not sure if the pool is heated but the water was well set as the sun would blaze during the early/ late afternoonThis was my first time experiencing staying in yountville, I definitely recommend booking a stay! Be careful booking the king spa suite You might not ever want to leave! ; )

Let’s start here – I’m giving Bardessono a 5-star because of their ability to make things happen & quick! ON my very last day there – I was literally packing to check out – I dropped my brand new diamond earing down the sync (in the King Spa Suite) and the engineer came out and was able to take the sync/drain apart and salvage it!!! Not only was this a diamond, it was the gift, my husband gave me on our wedding day,12/31/2021 (Yes!! that was just a week ago)Now let’s begin

KEEP READINGCHECK-IN:Valet is top-notch and so friendly I normally never let the guys take my bags up, but it was my honeymoon, so why not?! We checked-in, was handed a glass of lovely red wine (cab), and were literally shown around the grounds Beautiful, might I add 5 star hereCONCIERGE:Katie was the MOST accommodating ever We chatted just a few days prior to 12/31 (my wedding date) as we booked this place a little last minute on a change in honeymoon plans (We were supposed to be in South Africa – COVID-19, but a huge damper on that) She booked our dinners (using their Open Table), our private vehicle for a full days travel and wine tours I would recommend knowing what wine you like, and if you don’t ask for her recommendations and hotel partnerships Top notch here, 5 starTHE ROOM: King Steam Spa Suite (Room 109)Beautiful and serene You can tell the age of the place, but over all nice Cozy fire place, which we used every night since it was cold when we stayed there Bed was fantastic! Normally pillows hurt my ears as I’m a terrible sleeper, but it was perfect Huge bench for your luggage and 2 double closets to hang things 2 separate syncs across from one another and the toilet had its own door (loved this) There was a tub (didn’t use) & the stand up shower Spacey for 2 people I admit, the shower heads could use an update, or add in a body sprayer (hand shower hose/head), for guests like me who may not want to wash their hair everyday Low water pressure then what I’m used to in luxury resorts and hotels, but tolerable Didn’t use the shampoo/condition but loved the body wash!SPA:The spa was very nice! Nothing to write home about as I just had a 90-minute massage I did enjoy it, and loved the pressure from the message therapist The CBD oil was phenomenal – Highly suggest Did not get to try the jacuzzi or heated pool Couldn’t get a couples massage in the room (timing), but it is offered Huge plusOTHER DETAILS:* 109 does sit in a place where behind the room you can hear dumpster trucks (if its that day), or big trucks behind I’m a heavy sleeper so didn’t hear it when I slept but noticeable while watching a movie/tv* Lucy’s was great & so were the drinks!Overall, this is a wonderful choice for the guests who is NOT seeking a party atmosphere, a wild night out, or large gathering of guests just getting rowdy Serene, peaceful & restfulThank you, Bardessono, for a wonderful stay!!!

Stayed at the property December 13-17 Returning customer Stay was just okay

Rooms could use a refresh Fitness “tent” on pool deck was quite small Peloton bike was not functional at the time of my visit The tent had a small space heater that was inadequate to combat near freezing temperatures that week Elected to ship wine home via the resort Bardessono uses a 3rd party shipper After more than one month without receiving my wine, was informed that the wine was “lost” Attempted to contact the hotel concierge to intervene on my behalf with the 3rd party shipper and no phone calls were returned With rates in excess of $1000 per night, Bardessono needs to think carefully about its 3rd party vendors I will not return to Bardessono In my opinion, there are better options in the Napa Valley at this price point Choose wisely

The hotel grounds were very well maintained with a nice variety of aromatic plants to sniff at on a walk The hotel itself was very nice and Sarah at the front desk was awesome and made our stay that much better But the main reason I’ll be coming back to stay, is the location of the toilet paper

They had a genius architect that must’ve actually sat on a toilet at one point in their life The roll was placed so you didn’t have to reach too far forward or have to awkwardly reach behind you to get at it It’s the small things that make a good stay a great stay

Sarah Cruz

Nice, cozy beautiful rooms The spa was amazing, peaceful, and beautifully built into a cave under the vineyard The best massage we have ever had

We loved the 21+ pool – perfect for cooling off and relaxing The service was wonderful as well Every time we checked in at a desk on site (spa desk, concierge) we were greeted with champagne

Ele Gagnon

This place is OUTSTANDING! The room was incredibly comfortable and HUGE The full kitchen allowed us to save money by buying groceries instead of eating out all the time The location was easy to find and super convenient for getting anywhere we wanted to go

The staff was friendly and quick to help with anything we needed and the room service was EXCELLENT! We will absolutely be back again and again!

Here’s my final word on The Villagio… What you get here is location & proximity The lobby has a sexy contemporary vibe… but what good is a lobby really? It didn’t really make a great breakfast location because it’s not truly equipped for that (Breakfast is included but it’s in the lobby and it’s continental

)The rooms are well suited with nice fixtures & finishes, but they’re not that well equipped for the winter season The wall heater was a bit insufficient and the doors are drafty My room was cold The fireplaces are a nice aesthetic touch but not that much heat from those logs Lastly, my room had ants (Not a huge deal breaker but that was a first for an upscale hotel) – I am reducing to 2 stars because another review had ants a month agoThe service is 7/10 The breakfast left something to be desired I think they’re re-using day old bagels They could improve with a hot breakfast An omelette station, some mimosas & bloody Mary’s would go a long wayI may come back during the summer or spring but not sure I’d become a regular The high ceilings and the room itself were my fav

Hotel Villagio is a lovely place to stay The hotel has an amazing location, views and amenities The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and polite

Some of the staff membersthat help us out to find new thing to do were Emmanuel, Marc, Christopher Salinas Me and my Girlfriend had an amazing time at the hotel and exploring Yountville

Nancy Rheingold

We were not overly impressed with the room we had At nearly $1200/night I would have expected a larger room, with more amenities There wasn’t even a shower cap

We requested feather free pillows and waited over 3 hrs to get them Additionally, our first day, the room wasn’t cleaned by 6 pm (We left our room at 9am) We had to complain repeatedly to get our room serviced Even though the manager didn’t end up charging us for that night, it left us with a bad feeling The breakfasts were adequate All in all, our expectations were not met When we stayed at the Vintage Inn a few years ago, we were much happier with the room and the breakfast Chances are, we would not return to the Villagio
