I absolutely love this park It is off the road and surrounded by trees They have a very nice pool and sand volleyball court

It is very kid and pet friendly The laundry facilities accept debit cards and they fill propane tanks, which is a huge convenienceFrom what I understand, the new owners took over the park with a lot of problems They have been working non-stop to correct any water issues and improvements are awesomeThey recently put in some tiny houses for rent I am not sure when they will be available, but I am sure it will be soonThe staff is very nice and accommodating They will go out of their way to help and some live on the property Another huge convenience 👏I recommend this RV park!!! We stayed one night on our way home to Colorado Right off I-10, for a quick on and off The staff was very nice and tried to accommodate

I had booked the stay online about five weeks out When I got the confirmation email it was way different from what I had booked I called and thought it was worked out We arrived and were told we had site nine( it was way to small) She explained that it might be to small for my rig and if it was I could have site 17, which was a pull through, it was large enough to park, but you could not pull through as there was a culvert immediately to the right and there was no way to make the turn without dropping a wheels off in a hole We had to back out in the morning, which was a pain They need to make some serious improvement to this place, it has potential

Deann Shirk

The improvements are great Management is super nice very professional It’s not bad I have had nothing but a great great time here

The park had a huge water slide for the memorial day weekend they had an endless supply of popsicles for the kids The mud is all dried up Improvements are 100% being made Can’t wait to see this place as the progress of improvements are moving forward

Pet friendly hotel for a decent price Room seemed to be newly renovated, lobby was clean, staff was friendly and welcoming of my two Yorkies I will say that the bank door which claims to be locked at all times was not locked, the pool was smaller and there’s no hot tub, and although they’re pet friendly, there’s but a designated outdoor spot for the pets unless you have a dog that isn’t afraid to go near the highway

Stayed here with 9 people We loved our stay! Outside pool was nice, outside smoke area with seats in viewable distance from the pool Grills provided

Rooms clean, bug free! Free breakfast Also have a wafflehouse in the parking lot Washers and dryers on site Staff was the best ever They told us all the fun places to go with kids Always smiled at us and treated us kindly Thank you Kimberly and Casey for being awesome!!!! We would come back again

Conveniently located off of interstate 10 Easy to make a reservation and the staff was very friendly making check-in a breeze The hotel itself is well maintained and quiet even though it was near the interstate

The parking lot had enough lot to make me feel safe while walking my dogs in the evening While this is a pet friendly establishment, other guest can be lazy in caring for said pets to no fault of the staff The A/C was very cold and the shower was hot I was able to utilize the WIFI and get some work done before bed Breakfast is offered and was appreciated I will stay here again as I travel often and do business in this area

Last week this happened a Red Roof Inn, in Pensacola Beach-Milton FLI had a terrible experience, and I am requesting a refund

The front staff was fine and had no problems When I accessed the room, we had some dirty towels and requested new ones They told us that we would need to bring them to the front desk for proof to exchange for clean ones We did as ridiculous as it was, we complied Maybe they were too busy to deliver, like every other hotel in America, I will give the benefit of the doubt to them on this oneWe arrived back at the hotel about 10pm, took a shower and went to bed about 1030pm After pulling back the sheets, the bed was full of sand and had obvious hair strands and obviously were not changed since the last renter That was disgusting Since we already had poor customer service earlier with the towels, I decided not to try again, and we moved into the other bedWe found the same situation Could not believe itWe got dressed and slept on top of the sheets as much as we could Not the best start to a short getaway tripI would like a refund of the full amount applied to my card on file please I believe that this is a prudent request for such a situationI notified the front desk at checkout and they said that they were sorryI have emailed the general manager twice and have not heard anything

5 stars or 10 stars this place is great! My husband and I were in Ft Walton for a sailboat regatta Ft Walton Yacht Club initially told us we could park our 23ft fifth wheel on club property but when we arrived we were told differently I googled RV parks near me and this one came up

Wayne and Lessie were so understanding and went out of their way to accommodate us Can’t say enough about how clean, quiet and centrally located this park is We plan on returning to Ft Walton and we WILL be staying here

M n J Camp Hildey

This place is a perfect place to park the rig Park is very clean and very quiet you wont find a putt putt course or a swimming pool if that’s your cup of tea

A Walmart / sams club is around the corner The amazing white sand Beaches are 15 min away and a ton of amazing places to eat are close by The Wi-Fi is above avg with no problems watching Netflix and the showers are very clean space 3 is where we stayed and is perfect for backing in Our next visit to Fort Walton will include staying hereNote- can you make the entrance sign more visible it was a little hard to see with the shrubs

Don’t stay here, just don’t We booked last minute and everything in the area was filling up so we were desperate It is WAY over priced but its close to Navarre so I guess they princely stay full but it’s really about what you expect from a $60 room

Staff was courteous but 1st room had water all on floor and smelled like wet towels Attendant checked & said it was the fridge leaking and gave us another room The next room also smelled like mildew the ac unit stinks The water stinks, the furniture is so old I could continue, but you get the point don’t stay here We would’ve left if something else was available without shopping around all night

My significant other and I did a two night stay after traveling from Nassau County FL (over 5 hours away)To start off, the hotel was paid for over two months ago and was rated as a “4 star venue”On Tuesday (May 24), my significant other received a phone call from the “Baymont” stating that there could be up to a 15% surcharge due to “inflation” from a man who identified himself as a hotel employee

Contacted Priceline in regards to this issues and was assured there would be no surcharge on the roomUpon check-in (Saturday May 28), after 7 PM, we inspected the hotel room and discovered that the microwave was filthy (have pictures showing it had not been cleaned at all), the small refrigerator was not clean and had rust spots inside of it (also took pictures of this), “freezer” was frozen over and door was broken off the freezer, the sink was falling apart right under the faucet head (photos taken), the sheets were dirty, along with a dirty pillow case and no clean towels We had to request clean pillow cases and towels from the front desk night clerk who told us to make note of everything! The bed was rock hard and we’re unable to actually get any rest It’s sad when you can be more comfortable asleep on the beach than on a bed that was paid for We attempted to look for another room but prices had gone up to unaffordable amountsDuring the breakfast on Sunday morning (May 29) there was a gentleman I can only describe as Indian (just how he is) who based on a short interaction with my significant other, determined was the employee who tried to spring a 15% surcharge on the room Breakfast area was not maintained and very dirtyBottom line, the room was subpar in all aspects and deserves less than 1 star per rating Will also be informing the department of health on this matter due to how unsanitary the unit was We were asked to bear with them as the hotel was going through renovations, there was a lot of furniture scattered around when it should have been away from the public eye This place was an absolute dump and should NOT be allowed to be open for business until renovations are complete and a thorough inspection has been completed DO NOT STAY HERE EVEN IF YOUR DESPERATE YOUR CAR WILL PROVIDE A BETTER NIGHTS SLEEP THAN THIS PLACE

It was our first time here and we absolutely loved the resort itself It was nice, clean, great location, all of the staff (with the exception of bartender Laura) were very friendly, service was great, food was delicious and it was convenient having the restaurants and activities on site! We will definitely be back, but will try a different unit next time We stayed in tower 4 unit 501 with a terrace balcony

Great location, awesome views and we loved the extra large balcony and patio furniture, but the living room furniture and beds in our unit could use some upgrading All the beds in our unit were extremely worn out and uncomfortable and one was very loud and squeaky with even the slightest movement There were 8 of us and we all had trouble sleeping our entire trip due to the uncomfortable beds – even the 2 kids complained Our thermostat was also digital and locked with a pass code We could only change between heat and air but the temperature was pre set and we could not change it without a password There were times when it was 78 degrees inside our condo, and we weren’t leaving the balcony door open either!! For the amount of money spent on these condos guests should have the ability to control the thermostat to set to their own comfort level Overall I would give the resort itself 5 stars, but tower 4 unit 501 only gets 3 stars, so I met in the middle for my overall rating

Where to start with so many great things about this place! We have been coming here to Portofino for the last 10 years and this place never gets old The service is amazing everywhere you are on the resort! Laura N has gone above and beyond to accommodate us and help us find a place to work while we are here

Nicholas from security has also been great when needing help We love the heated pools, the dolphin cruise, kids activities, rental’s that are offered and so much more! Thank you everyone at Portofino for being so amazing

The views are amazing! The pools are great and the condos are very spacious However, as much as we had fun, we also had some disappointments Both of the couches were very worn out and stained

The balcony felt like a major safety issue (especially for my 10 year old) because the end looking towards the gulf was held by plastic zip ties and rusty metal poles from the top to the bottom Also, it would be nice if it was specified somewhere when booking that the clearance to the parking garage is only 6’8″ Not fun to start your stay off by being told that you have to unload all of your stuff outside in the weather after a long drive instead of underneath the building because a small roof bag won’t fit We have a 4runner that has a small roof rack, no lift at all and normal (not big) tires We should have easily been able to fit into a parking garage We always have before Even less fun having to re-load out in the weather for our trip home Why would you make a parking garage so low at a place where people travel to considering most people drive SUV’s and use roof bags? Luckily we still had fun enjoying the pools, great views and spacious condo

Was overcharged 45000 because they said we smoked in the room My husband does smoke but he never smoked in the room

Just before we left he smoked out on the balcony and we stood outside with him The lady told me that he shouldn’t have smoked out there That the wind probably brought it back in the room because the door was open Then why are there ashtrays outside on the balconies? They have on the website that they had roll away beds to rent but when we got there, they said they didn’t have them anymore So, my son slept on the floor the entire time we were there Their beach in one of the photos looked nothing like what it actually was It was just a wall and then water The rooms were clean but that’s about the only good thing 1000 dollars for three nights Wasn’t worth it!

We were immediately welcomed by the front desk and the room was very clean Very family friendly and we felt safeWe loved the fire pit by the water in the morning and night

Next to the hotel is where you can rent the glowing kayaks and it was so pretty to see the lights on the water at nightThere’s only one washer and dryer so you’re at the mercy of others getting their clothes timely Everyone slept well except my husband who said the mattress wasn’t firm enough for himThe breakfast was ok but we missed it a few days because it ends at 9amWe stayed a few days and the only complaint was the cleaning of our room during our stay The towels were replaced along with the shampoo and conditioner, but the beds weren’t made and the floors weren’t swept or vacuumed We still had sand on the floors and in the tub which was disappointing Other than that we enjoyed our stay

I hated to give this place 3 stars but we stayed here twice and it was like night and day The first night our room was dirty Also the employee that put the breakfast out was rude and one of the people working the front desk was also not very friendly

The second time the room was perfect and the two young men working the desk were very nice A lady with blonde hair putting the breakfast out was so nice She said good morning to me and also offered me a tray to be able to take mine and my husband’s food to my room Great customer service second day

We spent a weekend there and it was amazing! Starting with the check in by Dianne (I think is her name), room was clean, bed very comfortableBreakfast was great! Is good to have hot breakfast back again :)Mary was the person in the breakfast room, she was great, polite and very professional! Everything was clean and replenished all the time The only thing that needs some improvement is the pool, but is not something that we really care about because we travel there for the beach

Jamaal Rice

I’ve stayed here a few times and this was the worse I’ve seen It looked like they literally only changed the bed covers and sheets There was dried white stuff on the mirror

There was hair everywhere in the bathroom especially all over the ceiling I guess there’s wasn’t a vent in the bathroom and there was also brown spots all over the ceiling like something was trying to leak through The bathroom door wouldn’t lock Just very disappointed in my stay this time

Josh Coker

Great front desk personnel both day shift and night shift Hotel is ideal location and safe to me while I was lodging thereDownside is room size for family of four is too small, but whatever

However, water pressure from shower head was not good at all Felt like it was regulated or something at least in the room I was staying in I had to keep diverting the water with the shower spout in order for water to spray normally, and still with very low water pressure Talking from an experience plumber stand, shower head pressure is very bad in that unit
