I have been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few days you for sure won’t be let downEverything about my stay was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Brie Welch

Hotel is very clean, and feels modern If not a bit quiet even Hotel room was extremely spacious, clean, and bed was comfortable

Only disappointment was there was no hot-tub with the pool Gym was big and had everything you could need Staff was friendly, helpful and personally loved the atrium effect Good views of Ohio, rivers and bridges And close enough to walk to downtown – about 23 min over the bridge Would certainly stay again

Mary Regan

My sister, niece and I were there for an event and stayed 2 nights The staff was friendly and the room was great The view was phenomenal

the valet staff was witty and engaging each time we needed them The event was there in the hotel and I hope it will be again next year as I will be back and look forward to staying with you all again The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was when I checked in the front desk said I had a King room but I had booked a 2 queen room and was told I would have to take the king but then another associate indeed found me the room I booked I was given complimentary breakfast tickets which I thought was a nice touch The breakfast buffet was good

Cars are valeted with 2 optional chargers for EVs Gym on the lower floor is small but well kept The rooms are very clean Loved my king suite with soak tub, perfect for a relaxing bath The rooftop conference room was a nice space for meetings and the catered food was delicious The bar in the lobby had great drinks as well What a luxurious stay! If you’re looking to splurge, definitely check out this hotel

My husband and I came down for a quick, one-night stay to celebrate our anniversary The hotel was beautiful, the suite they upgraded us to was flawless, and the hotel staff, from the valet to the young woman who checked us in, were all friendly and helpful The location was also fantastic

Great views of downtown, and the walk to Fountain Square was only about ten minutes A special thanks to Krystal, a manger, who must have noticed I was pregnant and had a bottle of sparkling grape juice chilled for us when we returned to our room after dinner Such a sweet touch that made our little getaway even more special Definitely the place to stay in Cincinnati

Ebk M

So courtyards have been historically hit or miss for me This experience was definitely a miss in my book This hotel was well cheaper than the other options in the area but you definitely paid for what you got

Everything technically worked but the bathroom was stained from the shower to the toilet There was also some kind of stain or paint all over the curtains and stains on the tablesHowever regardless of the rest of the rooms and the potential for cleaner or better kept rooms the number one reason you should avoid at least half of this hotel is This hotel practically sits on the highway You hear every braking trucker, every motorcycle or loud car exhaustStaff was very friendly and were available but there was an overly casual atmosphere with how they handled themselves Any time you ordered from the Bistro the dude was in the lobby on a laptop or lounging chit chatting to other guestsI would recommend you avoid this location if you care to have a restful uninterrupted night of rest Definitely getting added to the corporate do not travel listing

Brianna O’Daniel

My husband and I stayed here while in the area for a softball tournament this past weekend and we were overall pleased! The room was clean (aside from the shower floor) and included a microwave and fridge which was super helpful The front desk had a bag of extra towels handy for anyone who needed them which was great The location is nice and quiet and conveniently located near the Florence Mall and restaurants

Breakfast was not included but we didn’t really have time to sit and eat anyway, but just be aware of that when booking We would definitely stay here again!

Monica Gende

I did not heed the warnings from previous reviews because it’s a Marriott, it can’t be that bad! Spoiler alert…it is Some sort of weird black/moldy spots all over the blinds, lights out in the hallways, showers/bathrooms that aren’t well cleaned, linens that look very “well used”, and can’t even get fresh towels brought to the room? What’s the point of offering “service requests” on the app when after 2 hours you call the front ask ask about it and they say “you have to come get them” The walls are paper thin, so you hear almost everything happening beside you, upstairs, and in the hall ways

We didn’t have any issues with the sound of traffic because the room fan is loud enough to cover it up Bathrooms were just gross, and there was hair on the wall and the toilet seat when we arrived Everything seemed dingy and neglected, far from Marriott standards This is not a location I’ll stay at again Red Roof Inn offers the same quality for half the price

Everything about this place was fantastic! The bed was so soft I actually woke up with no back pain, the 2 person spa tub was amazing, the grounds are absolutely gorgeous, I could go on and on And Leanne (the lady who runs the BnB) was the best host She was only a text away and she responded within a minute

She went above and beyond to make her guests happy And she’s a great cook, because the breakfast we ordered was delicious! And we can forget the resident kitty, who was also very friendly and sweet We will definitely be going back!

Tara Lane

I would like to express how breathtaking this visit was Although we weren’t on vacation or there for an exciting event, it was surprising and tucked away yet comforting and relaxing Just to explain my great aunt Janet Bell ( forever in my heart) passed away and she was just a blessed woman filled with the love of Jesus and she chose this place to have a meal after her burial do the family could celebrate her life! And that we did! As we walked from the convent parking to the small walkway it let you down a curving walk way of cooling water features and comfortable seating areas with fireplaces to a small yet elegant hall with large round tables for the family to be seating and enjoy good company and conversation

Adjacent to the seating area was a fully usable kitchen that was set with the food the family provided in buffet style for efficient time frame as we were all hot, tired, and grieving As you can imagine our thoughts were all over the place and it was a nice side thought to take away from the reality of our loss Thanks to family and my Aunt it was a great choice And to the business for opening and maintaining such a nice property

Another great stay at the Weller Haus in Newport! High-quality stay from the amazing breakfast delivered to room, to the deep whirlpool tub (in the Margaret’s Porch Suite), and the extra amenities – room robes, common room w/ snacks, and lovely garden in-prep for Spring Quiet street, good parking, easy process Looking forward to another visit in the future – our “go to” place when in Cincinnati/KY Bourbon Trail

We stayed here when visiting the Creation Museum and the Ark We had a wonderful experience! We stayed in a two bedroom unit Loved having the little kitchen area to store any food and the big fridge was great

Location wise it’s not far from a lot of things The place itself was very clean Breakfast was great Kids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool in the evenings I liked that it wasn’t right on a busy road Even though it’s close to the airport there wasn’t a single time an airplane was loud enough to bother us or for us to even notice

Regina Phillips

The staff was Amazing! Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating Breakfast was great and Happy hour was awesomeThe bed was super comfy which is a plus for us! The shower heads were top notch which we’ve decided to have that added to our shower in our home

We have no complaints and stayed for two weeksThank you to all the staff for your hospitality!

Michelle Kenworthy

I gave a 3 star because the room we stayed in was stated to be ADA accessible with a roll in shower That was not the case The shower had a large lip

As for the toilet, it was so low that I couldn’t get up without help, there were no grab bars around the toiletIf not for that I’d give it a 5 The hotel was clean, food was decent, some days better than others but overall was fine We had 3 breakfasts and one dinner thereHotel was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful They made our stay very pleasant I would stay again

Do not stay here:Parking is a nightmareStaff is rude and not helpful at allEntrance on Fifth street is closed early no clear signsHotel offers no breakfast

They don’t offer cleaning everydayNo laundry bags in the room No plastic bags at allEven cheap hotels give you a plastic bag for your dirty laundry Not this hotelNot sure how can they call themselves a 4 star hotelYou expect more from a WestinBathroom is old and needs fixing Mirror is falling apartSmall fridge made a screeching noise and had to be disconnectedNo ice buckets in the roomJust overall an awful experience This hotel has seen better days

Holly French

First off, we booked here mostly due to the pictures of an amazing pool that my daughter was excited about only to arrive and find out it was not open This was not listed anywhere on their website When we arrived to the room it was 80°, we turned the temp down, went to dinner and hours later it was still 78°

We had someone come “fix” it An hour later it was still the same temperature We called down and got a new room The same thing proceeded with this room We moved rooms for a 3rd time (in the middle of the night, having to wake our one year old up each time to transfer our belongings) only to end up in yet another hot room that would not cool off By this point we were all beyond exhausted and just over it We all woke up drenched in sweat early the next morning The stay was so awful we cut our trip early and canceled our next night and decided to go home I have traveled a lot and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had If you don’t mind expecting to hang out in an empty pool and sleeping in a sauna, this is the place for you Otherwise, rethink your decision to stay here

Jason G (Openclass9)

Hotel isn’t bad Nice views, rooms are bigService had room for improvement

Calling the hotel so I can release a package a friend is picking up while I’m at work The automated robot isn’t very helpful, when I gave my cell phone number that my platinum bonvoy account is attached to it then asked for my last name Majority of people can’t pronounce my lastSimply put the Marriott robot is horrible and bad After calling two more times I got the front desk, Alicia who was amazing at helping me

Honestly, I could not come up with one negative thing about staying at this hotel The persons working the front desk were all polite, welcoming and helpful The restaurant staff as well were attentive

The room was clean and comfortable The decor of this hotel is be on belief You will not regret staying here Okay, there is one negative I had a work van with a height of 8’ 4” and none of the indoor garage in the area could accommodate it so we had to meter street park a block and a half away I’m glad it wasn’t raining or snowing Oh well, you can’t have it all, right?Check out the pictures and enjoy your stay If this review helps, please like

First Mark Man that helps you with your luggage is the hardest working man in the hotel Please give him a raise immediately The hotel history is fantastic

The art deco is fantastic The rooms are small I asked for a coffee in the restaurant during their breakfast they wanted to charge me 275?!? There was a pot sitting there with to go cups and they said it would cost me… okay no Okay place Hard-working employees

Matt Ernst

We stayed the weekend due to the location of a venue we were attending The front desk was professional, but didn’t seem to care about your stay, possibly due to a fully booked hotel and understaffed? We used the app to check in at 5pm, but our room wasn’t ready until 7:30 which was very unfortunate after a long road trip The room itself was very small, which I get you’ll find in some of the more historical hotels, but it was dirty

The floor wasn’t swept, you could see chips and crumbs on the floor, noticeable dust on the floor, the bedding had ripped fabric, and the bathroom didn’t appear to be cleaned I’m a huge coffee drinker, the coffee maker didn’t work, there was coffee, but no cups, so that was a bit annoying (I did track down housekeeping and they were able to get a replacement for us which was great) The mini fridge was very warm, so we had to pull out the unit to turn down the temp and it was disgusting, literally a layer of black dust coating the top The hotel was totally booked, and with several concerts downtown, there were no other available properties to book at the last minute so we just decided to make the best of it Our next day we messaged the hotel for fresh towels and coffee cups, but nothing, maybe their messaging service was down We did not contact the front desk directly because the front desk didn’t seem to care about any of our initial concerns We did reach out to the Hilton Customer Service Department Now for the good The location is great, 3 minute walk to the stadium, the security guards, support staff, bar and restaurant service was great, very friendly If you’re staying on the weekend, a lot of the shops and restaurants in the vicinity will be closed (only open during the week supporting local businesses) so just be prepared for that And by chance if you’re a cigar smoker, there a fantastic cigar shop right around the corner (about a block away) with great prices and selection!

Stopped on our way from NY to Tennessee to get a few hours rest The staff was AMAZING from the minute we checked in until we checked out Beds were comfy, room was clean & perfectly located for us to take our little dog outside

Highly recommend & if we ever need to stop for some rest again while traveling through Ohio, hands down we will stay at the Country Inn & Suites!

Sara Rawls

Stayed at the Hotel for a business event When I checked in I went to hand the front desk my tax exempt form and the gentleman told me they did not need a copy of it I then went to my room and when I went to use the restroom there was a massive water damage leak that look like it was about to burst in any minute

The rooms are extremely small and definitely did not have any renovations done on them when the building was updated As well I was on the first floor where someone could have walked up to my window and seen completely in my room if the blinds weren’t kept shut When I went to check out, they had not removed the taxes I then went and gave them another tax exempt form and ask them to email me the updated receipt When I received the email they had charged me twice for state tax instead of removing it I then had to return to the hotel after my event and wait an hour for them to get my receipt correct While I understand it was not one soul person, and some situations cannot be controlled, this was not the full case with everything that happened to me Especially for not having any real breakfast except for grab and go items, this hotel is not worth the money or the difficulties

Tori Foltz

The hotel was incredibly easy to find from the interstate, and we weren’t expecting a Waffle House in the same parking lot so that was an added bonus Came up last weekend for a concert and only stayed for one night and got a late checkoutThe people working check-in Saturday were doing an awesome job despite being busy

We didn’t get up in time for breakfast, but right now it’s grab and go because they are short staffed (which I can completely understand!) so just keep that in mind when you’re looking to book

Our stay was great! Hotel looked great I didn’t see past Lobby and room since we got there late in the day Room was so clean Hotel was in a great location

We were able to walk downtown for food We got a parking card that was later validated and parking was free This hotel was not far from Creation Museum we had visited earlier in the day

Stay: June 16-18thReason: ConferenceExperience: Overall, my stay was positive and enjoyable My room was comfortable and clean (but the bed doesn’t face the TV?) I had a great view of the fireworks at the Great American Ballpark! However, my check in experience was frustrating

I booked a room block with the conference I was attending which was a king room I was put in a double queen on the top floor I called down to the desk to ask if I could be placed in the correct room and they accommodated my request I hauled my luggage back downstairs to pick up keys to my new room, and once I got to the room the keys didn’t work I had to haul my luggage back down to the desk again to get new keys and finally was able to get into my room I dined at the breakfast buffet prior to checking out and overall the food was okay The bacon was pretty salty but everything else was tasty I do want to warn you that you will have to park across the street in the garage (it cost me $48 by the time I left on Saturday) and there is no assistance to transport your luggage, so prepare yourself!

We absolutely loved all the art throughout the hotel Perhaps they will add more art to the second level

We rented the deluxe king and the room was clean and cozy The bathroom tiles in the shower were a very nice touch The restaurant Metropole, which is with in the hotel, was absolutely delicious We stayed during the week of Christmas, we were able to attend an indoor light show within walking distance of the hotel I would highly recommend this hotel

Jess Duffy

Honestly, had a rough experience and did get the support from the staff we’d hoped forFirst off, we booked a stay on a date that specifically could accommodate a momma to be massage After several emails confirming our date/stay would work with a spa service

we got a phone call less than an hour before heading up to the massage There was no availability to rebook us before we leftIt’s of course understandable that someone gets sick or calls off but what was very disappointing was the staff did not try to apologize for the mishap and no one acknowledged how incredibly last minute the cancellation happenedI tried talking to the front desk and was absolutely brushed off and my emails were ignored It definitely did not feel the experience I paid forAlso, I am aware this is petty but the front desk told us there was complimentary breakfast from 7-10 We were downstairs by 9 and saw everything gone When I asked the desk they said they wouldn’t be refilling it and the restaurant wouldn’t open until dinnerThe hotel made us feel like we were not guests but quite frankly a burden to everyone working!

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very nice boutique hotel and potentially the best in downtown Cincinnati, but our most recent stay left much to be desired We booked a corner room for a parents night out and were surprised to find one of the bathroom sinks not functional (luckily there were two) and only 1 set of towels The hotel bar was nice but the drinks were a tad bit on the strong side

The toiletries are high end except for the hand soap that leaves a strange film on your skin Lastly, the bathroom was nice, but by no means luxurious which is what I expect for a $400+ room We may stay here again but mainly due to the lack of other options in such a great location

We love to stay here on Halloween We have dinner, get dressed up and then go out on the town The hotel is a beautiful, historic gem and the charm is amplified during the holidays

You won’t sacrifice amenities as part of your experience The A/C is cold, the showers have spray options and the room televisions are ‘peekaboo style,’ hidden behind paintings when not in use I booked my mother in a room here a few months ago and she actually took video of that feature to send to the grandkids since she knew it would impress them If you’re interested in fantastic food, check out my review on their in-house restaurant, the National Exemplar

I had my wedding hotel block at this hotel and would not recommend for a wedding block or event The hotel was noticeably understaffed and it was a very busy weekend in Cincinnati (Flying Pig Marathon) despite our wedding The Marriott App didn’t link with the hotel, and so check in was more complicated and no early check in was available

I had NO turn down service/new towels/housekeeping when I returned back to my room on wedding night, although I asked the front desk for this (checked in Friday, and no one came by Saturday) Rooms, in my opinion, are relatively small but are modern and clean During the planning process, I had to overall “work with” at least three separate sales/marketing directors, and even the regional and general director due to, I assume, staffing issues Galen, unlike Olivia and Gina, was very responsive but I feel as if all the work I put into it with him was not well utilized I tried to avoid room issues prior to the weekend— had to send names and hotel confirmation numbers for guests, run the list many times, and we still had issues of guest reservations not being able to be found, guests being given incorrect rooms because too many people with same last name, guests being accidentally checked out, etc This was disappointing because I tried to prepare and avoid this prior to the weekend Valet was wonderful upon check in and check out, but they were overwhelmed and were bringing people wrong cars (thankfully we are all family) These are just to name a few things I understand it was a busy weekend in Cincinnati; but a Marriott hotel should be able to handle this Overall, extremely unimpressed and would not recommend to a friend and would certainly not recommend for a wedding block/event This was by far my most stressful “vendor” to work with Because of that, we stayed in a different hotel the next evening prior to our flight

We actual originally picked this hotel because it was pet-friendly and we were traveling with our chocolate lab But I would definitely pick to stay here again when I’m in Cinci next time regardless of whether our pup was with us or not! The hotel and our room was clean, modern, and well taken care of And the staff was just amazing! All very friendly/welcoming and helpful staff members from the front desk to housekeeping who always asked us if we needed anything when we saw her

Mostly as a joke before we arrived, I asked that there be a bag of treats waiting for our pup in our room in the comments section when we booked the room He was overjoyed to find a bag of treats waiting for him! And staff gave him treats at the front desk frequently Great hotel, great location, great staff!

Disappointing beyond belief Our wedding reception venue is a 2 minute walk from this new hotel and as hard as we tried to book a block of rooms (without a discount) here, we were turned away at every opportunity I first reached out to Gina K, Their sales/ marketing lead, in September of 2021

After leaving 2-3 voicemail messages and receiving no reply a month later, I visited the hotel in person to hopefully chat in person I was told Gina was not in the office but again given her phone number I called again 3 times in October and November 2022, still to no avail Finally, in early December I contacted the front desk asking for the email address of someone who could give us just a little bit of information I was given Ginas email and reached out 3 times before receiving a curt reply that this hotel does not offer hotel blocks I replied to Gina explaining while I do not expect a discount, I would like to know if possible to secure ~30 rooms together, guaranteeing occupancy for 2 nights each It is now February 2022 and after following up several times to my email and leaving yet another voicemail, my question has not been answered Our wedding venue claims they have worked with this hotel since it opened but it appears the Kinley and their sales/ marketing department led by Gina have no interest in doing their job 5 months later we are finished trying to patronize this new Cincinnati hotel

This was such a great hotel and staff We came up for baseball – perfect location Easily walked to ballpark

The room was really clean and well maintained The staff – all of them – were friendly and courteous and responsive The girl checking us in offered suggestions for options for parking and dinner recommendations When we needed extra towels, they were at our door in under 10 minutes and were smiling and friendly All of the valet gentlemen were very professional and helpful… even though we didn’t valet our car When leaving Kyle opened doors and helped us load our belongings Such a great experience and we will definitely be back! Thanks so much!!!

The Renaissance Hotel was beyond beautiful, the staff was amazing, and working with their wedding coordinator (Danielle) was excellent! 10/10 – Would 100% recommend you have your wedding here The planning process was so easy with the Renaissance They were there to answer questions every step of the way, and they were able to offer up suggestions to make our planning process even better

The food was absolutely delicious! We had tons of rave reviews from our guest on the portion sizes of the meals and the quality of food When we went in for our tasting, we were blown away by the flavors You can’t make a wrong choice with the food options they have! We even had a farewell brunch with family and out of town guests the next day, and it was just as delicious To add to just how amazing the service is at the hotel, my 90 year old grandmother wanted a scoop of ice cream for dessert at the wedding and a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast the next morning, and they did it without any hesitation or questionAll around, the service at the Renaissance was above and beyond We had a small snafu where I sent an item out for drycleaning Friday night that I needed the next morning, and apparently the local cleaner wouldn’t have it done until Monday I still have no idea what happened, but the hotel got my item back from the dry cleaner while we were at the rehearsal dinner down the street Crisis averted!I can’t rave enough about the experience with the Renaissance hotel Between myself and my husband, our parents, and all of our guests, everyone was thrilled with the service and experience

Overall I had a great stay here, it was a last minute booking near the airport for a night as my flight got cancelled I gave their front desk a call to see about the airport shuttle and they came and got me immediately, which I really appreciated, being stranded at the airport otherwise Everyone working was wonderful

Only issue was a big crowd of parents and kids that used all the public spaces basically all night and were very loud in the hallways, constantly knocking on doors and yelling I was hoping to use the pool, but really couldn’t And there looked to be a tray with a used coffee filter just sitting on the TV stand in my room But overall for what the hotel has the power to change, it was a great stay

GREAT HOTEL EXPERIENCE!!! I highly recommend this hotel! We wanted to stay at a nicer hotel that had a nice pool area, and this one even had a hottub! The kids looked forward to the pool every single night, and they leave their pool area open til 11:00PM! AWESOME! Their breakfasts were great, with a lot of variety and options! There were no loud noises during the night and we never heard our neighbors being loud at all On our last night we stayed here, some dumb kid had “an accident” in the pool, and so, in accordance with health department requirements they had to stick chemicals into the pool and shut it down for 24 hours When we got down the elevators and saw the CLOSED sign our kids were BUMMED!!! 🙄🙄🙄 We had started going back up the elevator to our room, but then the desk worker came up to the elevator doors and informed us that the hotel right next door was also their sister hotel and that if we wanted to, we could walk over there and use their pool

Which we all did, and the kiddos all had a blast on their last night! We REALLY REALLY appreciated them doing that for us Was very nice 😊😊👍👍

This is a must stay if you are searching in the northern Kentucky area just over the Ohio border My Family of 4 went on an over night business trip and we 100% picked this hotel because of the HOT TUB! That is right, a pool and hot tub and that area of the hotel is available until 11pm! This is one of the only hotels with a hot tub with in I would guess a 30min to one hour radius (believe me I have already done the research for you!) The hot breakfast offered in the morning was great, the decor and cleanliness is top notch, there are many other amenities including an outside patio and fireplace and the staff were nice! This hotel is worth the price with 2 thumbs up and I will definitely be back if I stay in the area
