The house and rooms are absolutely stunning If you have a choice between a hotel or this choose this Complementary drink and snacks, a very filling and delicious breakfast and a massive, MASSIVE ground to explore and relax in

My wife and I peaked into some of the other rooms we could’ve chosen and agreed they were all cozy and beautiful The Lenape Room that we stayed in was a bit small (we kept hitting our heads on the slanted ceilings) The electric fireplace lights didn’t work and the toilet needed to be adjusted in order to make it not run after every flush These things are 100% fixable and by no means do I wish to disparage anyone from staying, that was just our experience It was immaculately kept and clean Old world charm, again, in a massive complex that is a million times bigger than it looks outside Books on every floor and a really, really great atmosphere Even in some of the better hotels we are always able to hear guests at night but this place I never heard a sound from anyone The man who served us breakfast was very nice, as was a lady who introduced herself as one of the owners A younger gentleman greeted us when we arrived and made sure we understood everything and was also very, very nice I really couldn’t have asked for a better getaway The people who run it are doing everything correct I can’t say enough good things honestly We will 100% be back in the future

The room was charming, immaculate, and the bed was so comfortable! The new owners were so gracious, and warm We felt right at home The food was wonderful; portions were perfect

Lovely touches like blueberry and mint fresh water, extra pillows, and we had shampoo, etc in the bathroom, without asking We hope to have occassion to stay again soon

Casey Keiser

My husband and I stayed here last night since we hadn’t visited a B&B before and I just have to say they blew us away! The inn is beautiful inside and out Every inch is well kept, clean and organized The complimentary snack & drink bar is a very generous and lovely touch

We enjoyed strolling through the yard, relaxing in the gazebo and looking for the koi fish We opted to sit outside for breakfast which was so nice and our food was absolutely delicious and portioned perfectlyWe stayed in the Lenape room which was very quiet, clean and cozy We rarely heard the other guests next to us The bed was comfortable and the shower was roomy The only downsides of the entire stay were hitting our heads constantly on the slanted roof of the room, the fireplace not working, the bed blocked the window & the toilet flushed strangely and we had to keep taking the lid off to fix it so it would stop running but those things are trivialAll in all, we absolutely loved the place and will certainly be back to enjoy maybe a few of the other rooms! Thank you for your hospitality, we’ll see you again soon!

My wife and I spent a weekend here at Holiday Inn Express It was a very pleasant stay The establishment was very clean

The staff was very courteous, friendly, and treated us with respect The overall cleanliness of the facility was beyond our expectations We stood in the king room and it was worth every cent The atmosphere was welcoming without incident I would like to also add the breakfast included was actually edible, and tasty The room was so comfortable We found the mattress to be a little to soft, but not at all a problem I will consider returning for another stay if we have the need for a room in that immediate area The only one thing we found out of the ordinary was the soap We did not enjoy the scent, nor the brand Lastly there was no special soap or bubble bath for our jacuzzi Beyond that the room, and stay was phenomenal

If I could give no stars trust me I would I had booked this inn months in advance for a wedding that was located nearby I was contacted via text to be told that they were canceling my reservation because they were hosting a wedding that weekend

Management is extremely unprofessional and not helpful They will now only communicate via text, stating they will assist in finding another hotel to book a reservation but all options are 30-60 minutes away from my wedding venue I CAUTION YOU TO NEVER BOOK THIS INN! They will clearly take any business thrown their way and will cancel confirmed reservations up until the last moment I cannot wait to see this establishment close their doors

This place is sensational! The people are so nice and helpful, the rooms are cute and clean, the restaurant with the fireplace is gorgeous and the food was delicious! The architecture is lovely, definitely a place to go if you want to get out of the city and in a small town and nature area Winery’s within driving distance and hiking trails nearby I will definitely be going back! Stayed in February and it was gorgeous! Everything has a rustic and vintage vibe <3 Cannot say enough good things about this place, I Loved it!

Cinnamon

Loved this place! Loved that the building is so old and historical Our room was beautiful Our bed did sink in the middle, but it was still quite comfortable

Our TV didn’t really work We had to ask an employee to come set it up for us, and sometime after he left, it stopped working again and needed a code Did not bother me much though They have Wi-Fi, so you can connect your other gadgets to Plus, we didn’t really hang out in our room I would love to come back a different season to see what this place looks like underneath all the snow we had

So to start off the Hotel and location plus the Breakfast service was fantastic The lady who must of been the manager was very nice and always making sure that everyone was always helped All the meal they made was so amazingly delicious! The bartender at night for out family wedding party was always on the dot

Making everyone there drinks Thank you so much! But the hotel rooms were terrible I walked in to a room that had no light bulbs in any of the lights No tissue or toilet paper Plus I had to take care two elderlies That had a hard time in there room Plus the bathrooms have vents so the room will start smelling like mold But it’s not a bad hotel The front desk girl Jessica was amazing

Nicholas Kramer

The hotel is working on replacing the A/C In the meantime, they put portable units in hotel rooms Unfortunately, they don’t effectively cool the room

It never got below 84 degrees in our room, and for most of the stay was between 86-88 degrees It peaked at 90 degrees Literally a sauna This made sleeping here incredibly difficult and very uncomfortable I reported it to the staff the evening we checked in He said they are aware of the issue and we will have the same issue no matter what room he moves us to The manager the next day said he would look into it The temperature moved from 85 to 84 that day, but never got any cooler than that The manager then gave us a free hot breakfast the next day Miserable experience, stay somewhere else- unless of course you want to sleep in a sauna- in which case this would be the perfect hotel for you!

Christopher Tanga

Unfortunately I can’t even say I stayed We have a family of 6 with 4 kids and always need two adjoining rooms with a door between Had to travel for a funeral and this was the only hotel around that had that

Turns out, they didn’t One of the rooms hadn’t been cleaned and the attendants solution was simply to cancel the reservation When I tried to figure out a solution with me he got angry and refused to figure something out Attendant was rude and threatening His explanation for the whole thing was “I only got here at 3, the morning shift should’ve figured it out” What a waste of space

We enjoyed a long weekend of skiing, hot tub jacuzzi Most of the staff was very nice & helpful Great place for beginners as their were more than enough instructors to help out and offer instruction and advice anywhere on the slopes

Don’t forget your flip flops for outdoor pool is heated and sauna steps awayThis map of the ski trails is at the top of the mountain

Synda Matmati

I wanna definitely start off by saying the concierge in the front desk are literally the best with the most positive energy to walk in too Nicole and Suzie made the room bright up once you walked in the magnificent place They helped with every need and question and who doesn’t like a concierge with some personality, I think that’s what made the place feel like more homie then just a stay

I recommend this place 10/10 and definitely won’t be the last time I come So grateful to have met the sweetest hearts and hope this review will make your stay there more exciting cause it definitely was

Keith S.

Multiple activity options varied by season, including a year round outdoor hot tub, pool (albeit a little cold for me), fire pit, skiing (of course), waterpark, game room, bar Not much for food in the hotel, but they have a small convenience store with snacks, beer, and cereal The pillows are velour on one side (Uggs brand) and per my son, “the blankets are so comfy”

Several nearby food and convenience storesReally like this place

The crystal springs golf course is all about accurate shotmaking, and accuracy over distance is the key Lots of moguls in the fairways and offset to the fairwaysGreens were in good condition and rolled nicely

While our foursome was not the fastest, we kept up with the group ahead and resulted in a long unacceptable 5 1/2 hour round Not a ranger to be seen all day who could better regulate pace of play

Troy Larssen

I love this course (Crystal Springs) but they pack tee times pretty thick Playing yesterday they were splitting tees and there was still backup everywhere I get making money but it detracts heavily from the experience

The club has no control over the impatience of the golfers but they can do a better job to avoid exacerbating the situation with overbooking

Mark Nealon

It gets 4 stars because of the $25 cost to play it Don’t get me wrong, it’s an amazing course and about the most difficult anyone will ever play The layout is simply incredible and diabolical at the same time

I guess my biggest complaint is the condition of the course itself I’m not talking about the aerated greens, that’s a necessary evil all courses must go through And, Crystal Springs does the right thing by advertising that fact that the greens were aerated on such n such date, and then offers a reduced rate; hence the $25 I’m talking about the tee boxes, sand-less bunkers, and areas around the greens Correct me if I’m wrong but it just seems like the course isn’t maintained to the levels it used to be The workers are all top notch and treat guests like private country club members and the clubhouse is world class Maybe (hopefully) the conditions will improve as spring turns to summer, but still for the price you won’t find a better deal or more challenging course

I am torn about this resort and let me tell you why

The resort is very lovely and the staff was also great The reception manager actually upgraded us to a suite since it was our anniversary/birthday week-end get-a-way, which was very much appreciated The reason I did not give 5 stars is because the children and crowds at the indoor pool was out of control There needed to be someone there supervising the situation I think the resort is offering day passes for locals to use the pool for the day which makes it difficult for guests who have come to stay from out of town to really enjoy the pool It was overcrowded and rowdy for lack of a better word When you pay thousands of dollars for a week-end you expect more of an upscale environment, not a day at wet-n-wild Not enough lounge chairs so one guy actually plopped his stuff down in the middle of the walkway while his family went into the pool We decided at that point to just leave (without ever going into the pool) so that we could give that guy our 2 chairs They also had girls who were supposed to be walking around taking orders from the guests but all they did was walk around and stop to talk to each other If you didn’t see their resort logo , you wouldn’t even know they worked there While my husband and I enjoyed most of the time at the resort and loved our suite, this will most likely be our first and last visit

Lisa Y

The Grand Cascades Lodge is very overpriced I booked a king room for my friends bachelorette party Upon check in I requested a room on the same level as the suite, but was told nothing was available

Understood, but for $600 a night I was not expecting to be put in a lower level room It’s considered ground level, but below the main hotel level and felt very dark, dreary and unsafe I’m appalled that they charge the same price no matter where the room is located and on what floor If I knew I was going to be put on the lower level and the price was cheaper than the higher levels, I wouldn’t have been so shocked with the situationThe bed was very hard, the hair dryer had one setting and I could not figure out the heating situation They also have these very bright lights on the head board which several of us in the group could not figure out how to turn off and had to call the front desk before bed Walls are very thin and could hear people running up and down the halls & talking until at least 1 am The one plus was that the room was cleanI did not complain at the time because it was a quick trip and the focus was on my friendI would not consider this a luxury hotel The prices have gone up dramatically since my last visit several years ago and I would not return unless something changed for the better

Kimberly Darling

I will start with the room, it was nice but broken window shade and no control of the temperature in the room The adjoining room door was so thin that we heard our neighbors talking and playing cards both nights until 2 am, so it was very hard to get any sleep The pool was not clean

We kept finding garbage in the pool, we would take empty cups out of the pool but noticed the empty cups still sitting in the exact same spot next to the pool the entire weekend we were there Pool staff was very polite and did a great job The slide was by far the highlight of the weekend The food was good for adults but the option for kids was terrible Ordered macaroni and cheese at the restaurant which looked like melted butter and had no taste Additionally, we went to a show (which was great) but again the kids option was very upsetting It was pasta with butter and chicken fingers With a theme dinner at the show of Mexican we thought there would at least be a quesadilla option for kids My husband got a massage which was great but went to shower and found the shower was broken For the amount of money a night, I was very disappointed

Highly don’t recommend coming here to stay if you have small childrenThey called me on my vacation , to ask me why there was crumbs which wasn’t a lot just a few animal crackers Then said my room was messy which IS A LIE

I LITERALLY wipes everything down with wipes before we left and straighten everything up We literally got there every night 10-12 at night and go straight to sleep I thought by getting a big trash bag to dump ALL the small trash cans in one bag would be helpful for the cleaning lady’s all they would have done is grab a big bag and put some new bags in it And then going to ask and say we’re missing a sheet on the bed WELL the first night we got there we needed new comforter and sheets & they couldn’t find new “sheets “ so they gave us another blanket just to sleep on Then say they couldn’t give new sheet the rest the stay because there was a Cheerio size blood stain from my TWO year old leg from where he fell And she was like well I just don’t know how blood would get a pillow Well lady kids move around and it happens get OVER IT They made me feel very uncomfortable to even stay there the rest of my stay I would never stay there again & just to think I was going to tip the cleaning lady the day we left bc she did a great job making our beds nice and neat & vaccuming up But yes they were rude people at this hotel & if you plan on coming to stay with kids I recommend going to a different hotel Bc they think they are some 10 star hotel

We had to stay here because we had to have emergency plumbing work done BEST DECISION EVER! I was so stressed staying somewhere else with my husband, 9 year old and 10 month old but the staff was so friendly, the breakfast was amazing and the rooms were so cozy! It was like a little apartment Anytime we need to stay somewhere local, it will only be here

Thank you!

Darius T

Came the first time booked 2 rooms The 1st room was perfect no issues The second room smelled like feet and had an issue with the door looking properly

The pool wasn’t bad When I came back a few months later hair was everywhere, no hot water around 4 am, the shower curtain hanging by a thread, and some rusted Utensils The pool had too much chlorine It started to irritate and leave red rashes on my little one’s skin Marriott seems to be falling apart

I got married nearby this week and my entire party stayed here I’ve stayed in hotels around the world and this is by far the best I’ve ever experienced This is in my opinion what a 5 star hotel should be

Every staff member was incredibly nice and worked incredibly hard to make our stay as easy as possibleEvery staff member was great but it was four who made the experience incredible Anthony, Rodney, Angela and Greg all went out of their way to ensure we felt at home and took a lot of the stress out of getting married I ran into Anthony who is the manager in the elevator when first arriving and after he asked if I was the groom he shook my hand, congratulated me and told me not to hesitate to ask for anything at all Then in the morning, after a very bad ice storm the night before they were ready with ice scrappers for me and my guests to clean off our cars Showing that they actual care about their guests and not just their moneyRooms were clean, rates were affordable and overall experience was incredible

W B

We stayed two nights at the Homewood Suites with our daughters and had adjoining rooms What a wonderful hotel We we impressed from the time we walked in the door and were greeted by the staff

Check in was easy as you can do it with an app The rooms were very comfortable and clean We enjoyed the great breakfast Not just a continental breakfast, but good full breakfast with lots of options We were very please with our stay and the nex time we are up in that area, this will be the hotel we choose Great staff and a great hotel Highly recommend!

Abagail Bates

I’ve been staying here for almost 2 months and have had nothing but a positive experience The staff are so quick to help and get you whatever you need and they are very kind Everyone at the front desk is so pleasant and they really do their best to make it feel like home

The rooms and pool are clean, breakfast is delicious, and I am honestly a bit sad to be leaving in the next few weeks!
