Went to the resort for the day to ski First had a 90 minute skiing lesson at the Bunny Hill with Ian who was a great instructor He was encouraging, patient and great at explaining the subtleties of skiing

I felt far more comfortable with the skis by the end of the lesson The bunny hill was great for me to improve a bit at skiing and I had a fantastic time I hope I will be able to come back soon

BUYER BEWARE, We booked tickets for the Aerial park and my eleven year old daughter got overwhelmed after 15 minutes, so she came down When she wanted to try it again all the workers were too lazy and could not be bothered to re-harness her A park is supposed to be a happy place for kids to have a good time, and not even one of the employees could find room in their heart to be nice to a young kid

We paid for a 2 hour slot and got 15 minutes So, just know there are no good Samaritans among the employees at the Aerial park Warn your kids!

Had to stay here for an annual event in the area due to our usual hotel being bookedThe hotel is dated and rooms in very very bad need of deep cleaning and renovationOne of our pillows had a hairball on it, wall to wall carpet clearly hadn’t been vacuumed (thanks to our 9 month old crawling and picking up everything in sight to eat we noticed in detail), moldy shower curtain, silverware were put away without being washed ?! Had to wash coffee cups and scrape food off knife to wash to spread some jam on toast

Plans to make food in the room were quickly axed bc the kitchen was just grimy This was all really gross to us Spending nearly 200 a night on a room where you don’t even feel you can take your shoes off was frustrating at bestThe room we had 431 was right by the restaurant- ASK TO BE MOVED if you are in this room The door to the rooms from the restaurant isn’t a soft close so you just listen to the sweet sounds of slamming doors all night- my baby extra appreciated thatI gave the place 3 stars because it has potential it’s just dirty and so tired At the very least, wash the kitchenware, carpet and refresh the moldy shower curtains!!

I can’t wait to come back for another stay with our new friends from The White House Inn! The Inn was recently updated and is beautiful The rooms are clean and comfortable The staff was both friendly and helpful

The location is absolutely stunning! Morning coffee or an evening cocktail on the patio, or my favorite spot, the adirondack chairs doesn’t get any betterI had the pleasure of meeting the GM, Matt St Pierre He goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need We had a room with a patio so we watched all the coming and goings of the guests, and Matt was attentive and welcoming to allOn Saturday evening, they had complimentary drinks, popcorn, lawn games and local live music In the evening they offered a BBQ and the best seats in town for the Wilmington fireworks For non guests they offered parking for a small fee with the proceeds going to the local kids soccer team It is always nice to see businesses that give back to the local communityWe really enjoyed our time at The White House Inn and we now consider Matt a friend I can’t wait to book our next visit! Loved it! It’s an adorably styled and comfy space with such amazing details They’re currently doing some renovations, so had a little hiccup with the hot water, but the staff was super helpful and nice about it and fixed it right away I would love to go back for a longer stay and be able to enjoy the wonderful outside spaces and the amazing views!

The furnishings and artwork have been nicely preserved, and a delicious breakfast is part of the stay Highly recommended

This place is very beautiful, peaceful, quiet You can be here for hours and barely hear a word Only a few rooms, no children, no TV, no radio

We have been coming to Blackinton as a group of Williams College friends for 2 decides now, and it keeps getting better with each visit Lesa is a superb innkeeper and host The rooms are very comfortable, the atmosphere of the whole place very welcoming and peaceful, and the breakfasts are healthy, interesting and beautifully presented

Lesa also provides refreshments during the day, has many helpful suggestions on how to get the most out of a visit to the Northern Berkshires, and is quite flexible in meeting the needs of our schedules and any dietary needs There are also beautiful gardens with place to sit outside and a swimming pool,

Devin Raber

Take it from a local: this is one of the best places to stay not just in North Adams but anywhere Lesa is the most generous, helpful, and kind innkeeper She’s a wonderful cook even for vegetarians and gluten-free, and always quick with a cup of coffee or glass of wine

Over the last few years we rented the Blackinton Inn for our elopement and small wedding reception months later, and always recommend it to out of town guests We just finished a stay last weekend with friends from out of town and two young kids The inn is not just beautiful but perfectly situated between North Adams and Williamstown for all sorts of adventures The rooms are impeccably clean (truly) and we love the natural bath products The Parlor Room on the first floor has been “our room” and it feels like home any time we visit The Jacuzzi tub is what dreams are made of and the floor to ceiling windows let in beautiful light (but the shades and heavy black out curtains are perfect for light sleepers, too!) LGBTQ+ friendly, great for families (even young babes), and couples The only thing we haven’t tried yet is the pool because we have stayed in colder weather– guess we’ll have to come back, Lesa!

Peggy Courtright

My husband and I came to Blackinton to attend my 50th Williams reunion and stayed at Blackinton with 5 other couples It was our 4th or 5th time staying at Blackinton, the 2nd time with Lesa as our host We have already made reservations for the next reunion in 2027

Lesa could not have been more gracious She anticipated our every need — cheese and crackers and wine in the afternoon, the most amazing breakfasts, recommendations for walking paths, etc I cannot give a high enough recommendation for Blackinton Manor and Lesa We felt that we were guests in her home

Absolutely loved staying here! The staff was so kind and cheerful! The inn was beautiful and in such a lovely location right near Williams College (perfect for college tours since you only need to walk across the street and you’re there) The rooms were very comfortable and the food was all local and deliciously prepared My only complaint is that I didn’t stay longer

It is truly a charming inn that will have you feeling happy the instant you step inside the warm and cozy lobby

Vladimir Goldin

Tastefully renovated hotel with many great features: super clean, bath robes, great coffee/tea bar at every floor, comfortable bed and etc One issue though…We specially checked that this hotel has ducted overhead AC unit rather than the type at the window which are noisy It did but it was very loud (Rm

312) When we notified the front desk, they send maintenance person right away who told us that they are all noisy in every room and there is nothing he can do This can’t be true, since the newer chilled water Fan Coils with ECM motors are very quiet and if wired properly for 3 speed as thermostat is displaying, would be fine A fairly minor correction would make our experience so much better We had to turn off AC at night so we could sleep…

My husband and I had our wedding at The Williams Inn in April 2022 and everything went even better than we could have imagined Megan + the team were so supportive and communicative throughout the wedding planning process and accommodated all of our special requests to make our big day specialThe hotel itself has been recently remodeled in a modern farmhouse style, perfect for brides who don’t want to go completely rustic

There are so many photo opportunities at The Williams Inn (the lovely bridge, the red barn, the golf course/wooded grounds) within a 10-15 minute walk in WilliamstownOur guests raved about the food, big portions and amazing quality, some of the best wedding food we’ve had to dateWe loved that our family could all stay together at The Williams Inn – they didn’t have to worry about transportation and we could all maximize our time together The hotel rooms are amazing – especially the luxurious bathrooms There are also a number of more affordable hotel options in the area and airbnbs to suit guests needs There are also some great restaurants and fun attractions in Williamstown and North Adams making The Williams Inn the perfect location for a wedding weekendI highly recommend booking your wedding at The Williams Inn, you won’t be disappointed!

We had such a great stay at Porches! My friends and I stayed for a Friday and Saturday night to attend a concert at Mass MoCA and the location could not have been better! The pool, hot tub, and sauna were all very relaxing and surrounded by greenery The continental breakfast was great and had lots of options, the staff will even make you espresso drinks upon request! The rooms are large, quiet, comfortable, and well maintained The wall safe was so well hidden that weren’t even able to locate the it until right before we checked out, but we felt safe leaving our belongings in the room

Will definitely be returning next time we are in the area

Kelsey Fish

We stayed at Porches for our July wedding and it was fantastic!! The team was great with the room blocks and keeping us updated throughout the process Weekend of, we loved staying there! Our wedding party loved hanging by the pool, getting ready in the spacious suites, being able to have our dog with us, and having a fire with everyone after returning from the reception It’s such a unique place and we had many family and friends say they will be back to North Adams, just to return to Porches!

John Arehart

Stayed here for 2 nights and loved the place So much more fun that the usual chain hotel The rooms at the Porches Inn are artsy, unique and very welcoming! Location is perfect as MASS MoCA (museum) is across the street and “downtown” is also right there

I did have a room in the back of one of the buildings so there were no issues with traffic noise on the main road out front Wish I could have stayed longer as I did not have a chance to try the pool and hot tub!

What thoughtful hosts! It’s hard traveling with pets these days but Maple Terrace certainly made it easy for us! They provided our fur baby with her very own blanket, towel, food dishes, and treats! And we were well taken care of From in room pastry to real coffee cups and glass drinking glasses

bottled water and Hershey kisses on the nightstand, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispenser in the shower They have thought of everything to make you feel right at home! The room is large and cleanthe beds comfortable The hosts themselves are super friendly and put their guests needs first After having moved away from the area, we come back to visit familyMaple Terrace will be our only home away from home when we visit!!! Maple Terrace should be your only option for your motel needs!!!!
