First off the app allowed me the option to quickly check in and checkout I loved the digital key feature on the app which allowed me to unlock the room door The hotel lobby was clean, the staff was friendly and the rooms were very nice

The room had hanging curtains that allowed you the option to divide the room The room had a kitchen with a standard size refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, large microwave, dishes and utensils You could even request a hot plate burner at the front desk if you wanted to cook I will definitely stay at the Home2 Suites by Hilton again

We cancelled a stay at another area location and chose this one instead The rooms are clean and comfortable and we experienced the front desk staff to be friendly and engaging Joy, in particular, is a true blessing and went above and beyond what could be reasonably expected at check-in to resolve a separate issue for us

She is terrific Travelling with a pet for the first time, we found this easy and convenient and the hotel is remarkably quiet, given it’s pet friendly policy Will definitely be back

Amazing hotel with a great staff! The breakfast bar was always well stocked Rooms were spotless The rooms are well thought out – all of them have a fridge, microwave, and dishwasher

You can request an induction plate from the front desk In addition, they have a great patio space with built in grills! One of the best hotels I have been to!

I stayed here for over a month while I was waiting to move into my house My room was clean, the breakfast employee was incredibly pleasant, and there was plenty of storage However, when I checked out, I accidentally left an expensive Vitamix blender in the room and the hotel couldn’t have been less helpful or interested in returning it to me

I immediately called, provided my room number, and asked for housekeeping to retrieve it They said they’d check and call me back, but I didn’t get a return call After calling again, multiple times, they finally told me it was gone and there was nothing they could do

Lavern Morris

I have been there for almost 2 weeks and am very pleased with the service My suite is spacious and modern I love how the cook top has one large burner and one small, unlike other hotels with 2 same size

The windows are large so the room is bright The gym is way better than many other marriott gyms No coins needed in the laundry room, credit card is fine Special thanks to the front desk staff, especially Shantelle who was so pleasant and helpful at check-in, and Robert who is so patient, courteous and helpful He is one of the best front desk team members I have had anywhere, and I’m an ambassador elite so I have seen a lot

Katie Ray

Pros: The staff was all very warm and friendly The hotel was clean and it was in a convenient location with ample parking Breakfast was included – nothing fancy, but it wasn’t bad either

It may sound silly, but I really liked the water in the lobbyCons: That mattress is one of the most uncomfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on and the pillows were lumpy By the end of the week my back was aching

My Mom and I came to Maryland for a Church Youth Revival and last minute we were trying to find a place to stay and then we ended up finding the Laurel Manor BnB! We were so pleased with our stay here and definitely want to come back again! Our hosts Lisa & Dave were both so kind & immediately made us feel at home! We are so thankful for them! Also, the property is so beautiful! Plus, breakfast was so good! You feel like family when you are there!

Seth RIVKIN

Laurel Manor B&B is by far one of the best we’ve ever stayed at! From the well kept grounds and building to the wonderful homemade breakfasts and nighttime brownies, from the wonderful energy to the cleanest rooms we’ve ever seen in any B&B, Laurel Manor is a perfect place to stayOur thanks to Lisa Everett, the owner/operator, who was the perfect host We look forward to staying with you again and than k you for your hospitality!

Cheyenne Deane

Lisa saved my wedding from disaster this weekend when, just a few hours before I was supposed to walk down the aisle, I found out my guests food was completely cold My bridesmaids and I were staying at Laurel Manor House and Lisa and her husband were kind enough to allow us to use their ovensThe B&B is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully run

While we were there even the picky eaters among us enjoyed the hosts wonderful cooking Check in was extremely easy and the electronic door lock made coming in and out a breeze Parking behind the house is easy, spacious and feels secureAll of our rooms were set up as we asked and spotless for our arrivalI highly recommend staying here for anyone who is looking to visit the area or just needs a little vacation

Absolutely stellar in every way The location was great and easy to get to with plenty of stores and restaurants in the area (though I highly suggest the Ports of Call restaurant inside the hotel) The junior suite was massive and had a very large soaking tub

Rooms were clean and looked great Finally, the staff were hands down the friendliest and most professional people I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with If I’m anywhere near this area in the future I will definitely pick this location again!

Stephanie Pastorino

I contemplated writing this review because the staff was friendly but this hotel is not up to par with other Double Tree Hotels We booked a suite since we were traveling with a 9 month old and our puppy Upon arrival we were never offered the cookies that they go way out of their way to advertise over and over on their answering service and online, as Hilton honors members we were not even offered a bottle of water at check in

When we got into the room we noticed the room was not very clean Aside from the room being very outdated there was very minimal towels in the bathroom, red stains on the carpets and a funky smell throughout the suite We allowed our 9 month old to crawl around on the floor while we unpacked to which she found a LARGE switch blade knife left behind by the previous guest, after further inspection we found old moldy limes on the floor as well When my husband went to the front desk to complain about the room we were switched to another available suite We paid extra money to check in early and spent the entire time of our early check in at the front desk and then switching rooms and we weren’t offered the early check in amount to be refunded At first glance the second room seemed more suitable although still outdated and dingy with stained carpets etcbut at least this room had towels, however I found a small SLUG on our bed! Afraid of what we might find in room #3 we got rid of the slug and stayed in this room The pool was nice and is pretty much the only reason besides the friendly staff that I rated this hotel a 2/5 however we were charged wayyy more for the poolside drinks than what the menu states- double to be exact, with no explanation as to why we paid double the price for each drink Trying to salvage the rest of our stay we attempted to eat in the hotel restaurant When we went down the restaurant it did not appear to be very crowded however we were greeted by someone at the door who said it would be a very long wait before they could seat us and was basically trying to deter us from eating there We looked around at the many open tables and decided that it was probably best not to eat there since our stay was not going well thus far and left the hotel to grab dinner This was incredibly upsetting to us because we specifically booked a hotel with all amenities so that we could relax and enjoy ourselves in once place and not have to travel around with the baby The buffet breakfast was included with our stay so I have to say that is the only reason why we went to breakfast in the morning, the food was good but the dishes were not clean, there was lip marks on the orange juice glass I had and food and grease stuck to the “clean” plates next to the buffet I am incredibly disappointed with this hotel, for the amount of money we spent on this one night I would have preferred staying anywhere else, definitely not the experience you would normally get at a Double Tree Hotel

Chris Caldwell

Jody, the daytime shuttle driver, was awesome, very kind, and as flexible and accommodating as possible considering all the wedding traffic at the hotel, as were most of the other staff Maybe a 10 minute ride to downtown or the academy Rooms are a bit tired and dated, but adequate with a audible clicking, yet functional AC

The firm king bed that I slept upon was not at the Double Tree standard that I have come to expect, but others may prefer it The rooms are relatively quiet if you are on the front side away from the busy four lane Breakfast is typical Double Tree and a decent Annapolis hotel value with a good $15 buffet and multiple cooked to order optionsI’ve never written a review mentioning loyalty status, but if you are expecting any sort of status upgrades or preferential treatment for being a long time Honors member, look elsewhere Despite no wait behind me and being alone at the front desk with two attendants, my Honors status was not acknowledged at check in, I was not offered water, or even a cookie, and I even received a lecture from ‘Joshua(maybe 5’9″ or so, balding, with glasses)’ about the limitations of the food and beverage credit, and how Honors members have long taken advantage(his words) of the complimentary breakfast Almost ‘anti’ in the customer service department and likely in need of remediation I also had the displeasure of phone call with ‘Joshua’ a couple of days after my stay, due to a billing error, and he once again reinforced his hospitality shortcomingsOverall, a decent hotel but one bad egg can cause a lingering odor

Terrible experience I checked in for 1 night around 8pm and had to be transferred to 3 different rooms until I was in a proper hotel room The first room looking horrific with brown liquid dripping from the ceiling onto a plastic covered bed

The second room didn’t have working A/C, to which the front desk said it’s been broken for awhile Finally made it to the 3rd room around 11pm and it was in working order Not really the night I was looking for after a long days travel Highly recommend NOT staying at this hotel This was simply unacceptable and I will be taking my complaints to corporate

Sabriya Ali

I enjoy my stay very friendly customer service was fabulous and the energy was amazingKeep up the fabulous job Yet l think they need to loosen up on the dress code I enjoy seeing colors l feel as though we’re in a place of being yourself but with professorism

So as long as l can see colors it bright my day

Seth Burke

Front desk staff told us it was cheaper to go online and book however the online booking was very glitchy and we ended up having to have the front desk staff check us in The three people in the back were feet up chatting and didn’t seem too concerned with helping us out Also had a smashed screen outside our window that looked like it had been there for a while

Room was comfy overall

I’m not sure about pets, but they are NOT kid friendly We heard babies crying at 6am and we never said a word, naturally because it is a hotel and people come with their families However, we received 2 complaints in the middle of the afternoon (12:30 and 3:45) when our 3 and 4 year old were laughing and playing in the comfort of the room that we paid for

Not in the hallway, not in the lobby, but in our room We received a call with someone on the other end saying, “can you keep your kids quiet?” When we expressed concerns about this and how the stay was uncomfortable for us, we were told that there are pilots trying to get some sleep When I checked out and again expressed my concern to one of the representatives behind the desk, another woman (not a manager) stood beside her and tried to justify the calls by stating, “we have other paying customers too” I quickly dismissed her and pointed out that it was one of me and two of them and I will finish my discussion with the person that I started my conversation with (which happened to be understanding regarding my complaint) I asked for the manager, who was unavailable on a Monday afternoon, and I left a voicemail with no call back or resolve We also had a teenager who asked to use the pool but was told that it was closed, only to see that it was open for other guests Pick another hotel if you have a family, especially if you have small children The patience and service is less than desirable, to say the leastUpdate…the manager called me back He was apologetic and very professional We received a discount for our trouble and appreciate the response and resolve

Beautiful hotel Great location for my work trip As others have mentioned, walls and doors do not filter sound at all

Normal conversations are heard 3 rooms away Next door room sounds like they are leaning against the wall while talking on the phone This is just normal conversations!!!!! Every door closer is not set properly, so every door slams closed… you can barely prevent it if you are trying to be considerate I’m a big strong guy and those closers would be horrible for a child, handicapable person… Won’t be back

Ellah

Customer service was questionable at first Upon checking in, I stood and waited for the front desk person to acknowledge me for what felt like 5 minutes while talking to a a co-workerBesides that, my hotel experience was pretty good

It was a quick one night stay for work The room was clean and so was the bathroom The decor is fun and modern and location was perfect for what I needed!Disclaimer: if you’re looking for a relaxing hotel for a getaway or staycation if sorts, I would not recommend as it was pretty loud and had tons of kids and families Which isn’t a bad thing of course, but if you want quiet, I would look elsewhere I agree with the other reviewers stating that the walls are pretty thinAll in all, I would visit again

Perfect location for my needs The hotel needs work and quickly The phone in the room did not work! Couldn’t contact the front desk, so when we needed them we had to go down to the lobby! We had to ask 4-times to get body wash as the previous guests ripped the bottle of the wall in the shower

Awesome bartender! He was all by himself but kept up with everyone in a timely fashionLocation was very convenientThere was a wedding after party in one of the rooms It large l lasted well into the early morning hours The group was extremely loud; making it impossible to rest, sleep and relax! We called down to the lobby using our cell phones and they said there was nothing they could do as it was almost over and those guests were quiet That’s because management was in the lobby and not in the 3rd floor!!! Absurd

Jessica Pereira

At check-in, the gentleman was extremely nice and provided a warm welcome to Baltimore after a day of flight delays The hotel was nice with a clean lobby and nicely furnished room The bathroom left a little to be desired and the wall dispensers in the shower were broken off but it wasn’t a big deal

All in all, the actual stay would have been 4-5 stars, HOWEVER, when I arrived home from my business trip I found that I had been charged $108 and each of my colleagues staying at the same time had charges ranging from $90-210 with no reason or acknowledgment provided by the hotel at check out and itemized receipts never sent by email as promised I don’t know if they think that business travelers won’t be checking statements and that they can just throw random charges onto the room? Because of the shady nature of these additional charges and the time now spent on the phone with Marriott to dispute the charges, my company and our clients will be finding another hotel to use for our Baltimore travel needs

Brian Bittner

Spacious rooms with nice amenities The hotel is clean and the small sitting areas available both inside and outside are great to relax and chat or read It’s definitely designed to ease the weariness of travelling

The staff are cordial and very helpful The parking lot is very small but there is a good deal of guests from the airport with no cars – just depends on when your stay is

TLDR – Great place to stay!Although we only stayed one night we feel the hotel was very accommodating We wanted a place to stay so we could get an early trip to the airport We got a great price to keep our vehicle for a couple days until we returned

Jackie, at the front desk, was extremely courteous and helpful to us The trip to and from the airport in ‘the cookie van’ was prompt and courteous The room was clean and modern The food we ordered from the restaurant in the evening was delicious and the service was greatsame with breakfast in the morning The cookies were a nice touch We’ll stay there again the next time we fly out of BWI

Joseph Elkins

The front desk staff sit “too busy” on their personal phones and lie to people by saying that they don’t have water bottles for guests that pay hundreds of dollars for poor quality beds in rooms with very loud air conditioners and doors/walls through which you can hear every tone some one flushes or is talking Disrespectful staff 24/7 available to charge you $3/20oz water bottle The only great aspect of this experience was the wonderful daytime shuttle driver who is extremely kind and professional

Dimples h

The hotel smelled like gas Spoke with rude Kyle at the front desk about it He stated management was aware as this has been going on for weeks and they were not going to do anything about it

He brushed me off to speak with the next guest that walked up This is very dangerous for the guest and employees to be inThe next day (Sunday) I’m coming out of the bathroom naked and housing keeping is entering my room at 10am I went to the front desk and spoke with a man who stated he was the manager (did not want to provide his name to me) explained to him what happened and why are they entering my room at 10am if check out is not until 12pm He confirmed check out was at 12 and stated house keeping is short staffed I told him there was not an excuse as to why they were entering my room so early He apologized and asked if I wanted coffee or a cookie Like why would I want coffee or a cookie when I was just violated by entering a room we paid forOverall the room was nice! Doubletree needs to do better with their staff

The only reason that I gave this two stars rather than one because of the staff is really nice But this hotel has seen its better Days The rooms smells molded, it may be the carpet

It was difficult for me to sleep because of the smell I had a headache for the 2 nights that I stayed there My coworkers stated the same thingNormally hotel lobbies are nice and updated Not this one, so you know what you are going to get when you get to your room Even the wallpaper has scratches and dirt on it Horrible!!! Do not stay here unless you live lesser than this!

Gavin GUARDMAN

We booked in to a “suite” which is putting it very modestly The only upgrade was a bit more floor room It was on the fifth floor

There was peeling paint and wallpaper across most of the walls The toilet would not flush and ended up clogging immediately When going to the front desk, clerk was on a smoke break and had to call maintenance personally who was just not at work What kind of Hilton has no maintenance staff? We had to plunge the toilet ourselves Subsequently another person in my party tried to shower and the bath tub backed up When going to plunge to it to maybe try and fix it, black pieces came out of the drain God only knows what those were So we asked to move which they obliged The room the system said was available was not It was filthy and torn apart and smelt like some one had died in it from the hallway Back down to the desk we went They finally seemed to pull enough sense together to get us into a room seeing as how it’s approaching midnight and we’d be lucky if there was any more available The consolation was free ice cream and a changed rate The rate going from 135 to 99 a night In my opinion this place was comparable to a motel 6 which cost 30 dollars a night I probably would have slept better there I like a stiffer bed but I left with back pain The ac wasn’t working properly either as I dropped it to 66 degrees and the ambient temp stayed around 71 Damp and dingy The lobby bathroom stall is falling apart The pool was nice enough with a broken gate The entirety of the hotel comes from a time forgotten which was kinda cool for two minutes until you see how nasty it actually is I guess if I was as drugged as hunter s Thompson in fear and loathing this place would be marvelous But it is indeed a dumpster fire If you have live anywhere close to better than this hotel is not for you

Before a long day of travel, I had booked a room at this hotel for over $200 in hopes of rest before a 7 hour drive the next day I arrived to a chaotic place with people having cookouts and throwing baseballs in the parking lot There was one person working on an incredibly busy night

I tried to go to sleep just before 9pm to no avail There was yelling, screaming, and door slamming I contacted the front desk They sent “security” up to quell the ruckus to no avail The next time I called the lady said she’d have them evicted, but still nothing I called the front desk 8 times over the course of 3 hours and as I write this the noise is still as loud as it was at 9pm This is behavior I expect paying $60 at a Motel 6, but this is a Hilton property charging almost 4 times that amount Stay away from this place if you actually want to sleep

First the goodThey had last minute availability My flight was delayed 4 hrs, I called the hotel before my flight took off and let them know we would be arriving at 1a and asked if they could setup the crib before we arrived

They did this and also left us extra bedding and blankets The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful  They provide a free 24/7 shuttle to/from BWI and Jack, the shuttle driver, was excellent Our room AC worked well in the summer heat and the bed and bedding were comfortable I absolutely LOVE their soft down pillows Breakfast options were very limited but I did enjoy the oatmeal (I was able to add butter, coconut flakes, shaved nuts and cinnamon) and coffeeThe badIts definitely the most rundown Hyatt Place I have been to Its an older building and the furnishings are very worn, dead bug in the light above the sink, moldy shower tile, carpets and furniture stained, etc  No outlets at the desk and the outlets by the TV near the desk didn’t work The outlet next to the bed was difficult to get to The blackout curtains didn’t quite cover the whole window so light poured in and woke me up at 7am

Pam Stern

I stayed at the Hyatt Place in Linthicum MD a few weeks ago and the staff was exceptionally kind The young woman at the reception desk with the long hair and big glasses is an asset to the hotel It was very busy and the rooms were not ready but she handled everything with patience and kindness

The room was very nice and clean and the pillows are great! I will definitely stay there again!

Tracy Moore

I wish zero stars was an option because 1 star is too many The hotel stunk and smelled liked pot It was dirty and in disrepair

My daughter was threatened by another guest because she thought my daughter was “stalking her luggage cart” when in reality, my daughter was just trying to get the one and only other cart in the entire hotel which just happened to be down the hall past the threatening guest The carpet in our room was stained, the enamel in our tub was chipped, the sink did not drain, and everything looked like it was falling apart We booked for 4 guests and the room had glasses and towels for 2 guests Also the towels were awful They were old and worn out We tried to buy bottled water in the “shop” and we were told to go to 7-11 We paid over $200 for one night I feel like if the hotel doesn’t provide a reasonable representation of what they claim to offer they should have to refund your money since we can’t get a refund if we cancel too late Fair is fair Save your money and stay somewhere else

The hotel is in need of a deep cleaning It was dusty and visibly dirty base boards, windows etc The bed was worn and the pillows are like small bags of rocks

Super uncomfortable stay Staff wasn’t to friendly and hardly said helloWe’ve stayed here before and each stay has gotten worse The bar tender was on her phone checking out social media while we were trying to get drinks We will not stay again I certainly do not recommend this hotel, there are other options in this area These were my pillows in my picture I literally folded them in half When I asked for new ones, they lady at the front desk was totally annoyed with me They did deliver 2 new pillows that weren’t much better and they said they could only replace 2, so my husband had to tough it out

My first visit to this hotel will be my last I had a bad feeling about this place upon arrival The front desk attendant was very nice and helpful, but the overall experience was terrible

I reserved two rooms and requested either adjoining rooms or rooms next to each other (for me, my daughter(s), and her friends who were celebrating her birthday) They allegedly accommodated my request, however, when my children and I went into one of the rooms, it was already occupied We had to scramble back out of the room as not to disturb the occupant Unfortunately, the only other available room was two floors away from my girls in the second room That didn’t work for us, so we wound up leaving and checking into a nearby hotel I understand an honest mistake, but it was late and we’d had a long day We were ready to hit the showers and go to bed Having to find another hotel after 11P was very inconvenient and even more tiring Also, IDK if the guest in the room we went into was a hard sleeper or what because they didn’t budge when we barged into the room I asked the front desk attendant to check on them I hope they did!

Overall good experience The hotel was modern and clean The room was a bit small, but very comfortable and clean

My only dislike was the need for a reservation for the pool, by the time I checked-in all timeslots were taken so that was a bummer Plenty of parking Staff was niceThe location was great Near a mall and plenty of restaurants

I can confidently say I can review this hotel with vast insight My family and I called this home for 4 months while traveling for work This was an amazing hotel with the best staff you could ever hope to get

Not only was the stay amazing, the experience was out of this worldThe rooms were of good size, we started in a room with two beds and ended up wanting a little more play space for our son so we requested a different room We were brought up to the floor and shown a few different rooms to choose from We chose a room that offered more of what we wanted and were very happy with the choice for the rest of our stay We found that the entire hotel stayed very clean and tidy The hotel offered many amenities including a laundry room which saved us a lot of hassle and time Our son LOVED the indoor pool and spa The hotel gym was not used as much as it should have been by us but it was very nicely laid out and offered many machines to choose from As for the hotel restaurant, we mostly took advantage of weekend breakfast which never disappointed My wife liked to grab a Togo breakfast and coffee before work and raved about how accommodating the staff was I truthfully believe we knew every face of every staff member before our check out and we had zero complaints with any of them They all were amazing The staff went above and beyond with our son and even invited us to a WONDERFUL Christmas party where the big man in red himself showed up ( Thank y’all so much for this, it meant more than you could ever know!) While there for four months, we only had one opportunity that needed the staffs attention, our electronic lock on our door failed and we got locked out The engineering staff took wonderful care of us and knocked out the problem instantly Truthfully it was no inconvenience due to the wonderful attitudes of the gentlemen who fixed everything The hotel is VERY convenient to literally anything you could ever need Restaurants, malls, grocery stores, you name it and you are no more than 10 mins awayI can only hope our next hotel is half as good as our crown plaza stay Thank you for the amazing experience Crown Plaza Annapolis, we hope to visit you again someday!

The hotel is nice and clean And house keeping was amazing But reading the reviews on here I see it a common this to be told that your stay comes with breakfast, and be denied breakfast on my visit! I spent over $400 for 2 nights (Saturday & Sunday)

I understand Saturday is a premium rate day but Sunday the hotel was empty So I don’t understand when I brought it to the front desk attention all they can say is I have to spend more money for breakfast! Smh

Very nice establishment! Customer service is spot on Everyone was friendly The staff & management was very accommodating to my disabled son who relocated back to the area to take care of his health and this made him feel so welcomed that it encouraged him to want to be more social and do physical activities that he hadn’t done since he came out of rehab over a year ago

The beds are comfortable, the room was spacious Although we weren’t fortunate enough to get one of the handicap accessible rooms, it still allowed plenty of room for a wheelchair to be wheeled around in and in and out of the doors that were wide enough

I stayed at this hotel this past weekend Not clean at all The only thing we enjoyed was the pool

Our first room had hair in the linen I was told housekeeping was gone for the evening So they switched our room The manager Dexter gave us 5,000 points and a Marriott membershipAfter taking down all the party decorations and packing we moved into our new room Just to encounter the same problem and worse Not only was there hair in the bed But the sink was clogged The pull out couch where I had planned on sleeping was severely stained The carpet had white spots as wellI made the front desk aware and even emailed pictures and videos Yes I booked through a third party Everyone made it clear by reminding me repeatedly However, that’s no excuse to treat a expecting mom with three other little children present I did not sleep well With four people cramped up in a king size bed Completely unacceptable!
