This hotel is beautiful and so well kept We stayed in one of the jacuzzi rooms and were very happy with the room The room itself was huge, very clean, and very modern

The bed and pillows were wonderful, the most comfortable of any hotel I’ve stayed at Our room was very quiet and private, it felt like the walls were more sound proof than an average hotel, we never heard anyone in the hallway or surrounding rooms I loved how unique the Alice in Wonderland theme was throughout the hotel Unfortunately we stayed over the holiday, so the restaurant and bar were not open, but I’ve heard great things about both!

What a wonderful hotel! We checked into a horrible Marriott, and were on the hunt for a new, clean hotel Hotel Deco is wonderful! Michael at the front desk was attentive, made us feel welcome, and went above and beyond for our stay! What an excellent employee, and a true asset to the hotel On our way out Kat was such a help with our luggage and our departure

Such a wonderful front desk team! Stay here and you’ll never want to leave! Thank you for a wonderful stay Hotel Deco team!

Absolutely the best place in the old market! Everyone was friendly and helpful! Have never slept better in a hotel! The bed was amazing the PILLOWS were fantastic! Only complain is the shower was a little odd! Some instructions would have been nice, but once we figured it out it was great too! Bar service was excellent and the drinks were phenomenal! This is our go to in the old market from now on!

We had such a relaxing stay at the Residence Inn in May! I really loved this location It was quick and easy to get to for all of the celebrations going on around town for the Creighton graduation ceremonies Parking was easy

There’s a huge park alongside the building which includes a dog park I was sorry we were so busy as there’s a cafe and other businesses across the street I wanted to check out Also nearby as we were headed out of town was an awesome farmers’ market and a theater totally in walking distance At the hotel, the room was so nice, the beds were comfortable and we also had a sofa sleeper Lots of amenities were provided We had a pregnant person with us so the kitchen area was very well used as she needs snacks at odd hours of the day It was all very clean I was unable to use the pool while we were there They have a gym and laundry facilities if you need it We really enjoyed the breakfast They have a ton of offerings and everything was packaged in a cautious way for health safety They also have a lot of couches and a business center you can use downstairs if you prefer not to hang out in your room Parking and the entrance were very accessible The staff was super nice and very chipper! Even the dietary staff was awesome because we asked for some ice for our small soft-sided cooler and they brought us a huge resealable bag filled! Every detail was the extra mile I highly recommend and will return every time I go to visit my nephew in the future

I was kicked out of this hotel for my dog barking The only problem I have with this is that I don’t have a dog After realizing her mistake she said it was because of baseball kids running around at night

Well I only had 1 kid This staff was all about power and it has cost Marriott a customer I normally stay at their properties but will be looking for a different brand from now on Very poor staff!

Jorde Ranum

Charged me a $168 pet fee/tax for one night despite being a “pet friendly” hotel What a joke

sure they list the fee on their website, but I didn’t book through the website and front desk staff didn’t disclose the fee at check-in Didn’t discover the highway robbery until the e-receipt hit my inbox Will not be staying at this hotel ever again! Pet fee costed more than the room itself!!!

Awesome hotel This Hilton has an incredible staff They all were friendly and helpful

The evening staff/supervisor was awesome helping me check in and assisting me with a few items I forgot The bartender was friendly, enjoyed visiting with his guest and helpful He engaged us in conversation and we talked like old friends He made you feel welcome and like you were at your favorite bar at home I highly recommend this hotel

Richard Broussard

My family held the 105th reunion at this hotel They provided a discount rate on rooms and the facility and service is excellent! We held the banquet and dance in the ballroom There was plenty of room and the worked so (SO) hard to accommodate us

The food was awesome The served real smoked brisket, that was perfectly cooked, sauteed green beans and some of the best mashed potatoes ever I spoke to the host and she thought we held the reunion every five years, but it’s a yearly event that’s even covered by the local news I am sure the family will select this hotel again!!Very well done!!!

It is Awesome thank you Very much!!! Would highly recommend your hotel to anyone Everything in the room is well maintained and cleaned indeed which is awesome!! The employees are amazing as well Maria did a great job booking us and making it very easy and she took ownership because I had issues trying to book it originally through your call center that was somewhere overseas and the lady overseas did not understand me I will definitely be back sometime in the future because this was just pretty awesome I was only here for one night but that night was awesome I appreciate everything that the hotel staff has done to make this a great experience

Honestly the best service outside of a Four Seasons Took insanely good care of my wife and I when our flight was Diverted to Omaha Shuttle was amazing, only 5 minutes to the airport, and they took us multiple times throughout the day so that we could handle the numerous issues

The bartender was fantastic and accommodating Front desk was so nice and helpful Room was great, very stylish and comfortable Great views of the stadium, and nearby restaurants and cafes

Sarah Koch

It was a nice hotel lobby & hallway were very clean Room was nice but not cleaned well, lots of dust on everything phone, lamp, desk The headboard & light switch were sticky and not cleaned and the couch cushion had a huge stain on it but was flipped over

The staff was less then friendly at both the front desk and the bar/restaurant and when calling for food service no one answered and when I went down to the bar the bartender stated she had one calls and no messages The bed was comfortable and the rooms were nice but was not as impressed with this hotel Unfortunately I probably would not stay here again

Frank Wilkins II

I chose this hotel due to it’s location for a family trip we had planned Reservation process was easy and all was good until I got to the hotel As I walked into the lobby I made it 12ft from the counter when the staff told me no early check in’s

Not a how can I help you or how is your day going great first impression by the staff This was at 2:45pm and the check in time is stated as being 3pm We where told it would be a little later due to the room not being cleaned yet Well at 5:45pm they said our room was ready When we got to the room it was far from clean Dirty carpet, hair in the tub and shower and only one shower towel Tried to call the front desk 4 times and no one answered The late check in caused us to have too alter our evening plans and miss a reservation I would NOT recommend this hotel Maybe I just had a bad experience By it’s one I won’t forget

I love this hotel! It is historical & unique The room was clean & adorable High end & comfy

We got a room with view of inner mural which was very neat & had cute string lighting The shower was large & luxurious with amazingly hot water AC worked wonderfully for it being over 100° F The lighting & furnishing were very beautiful & good quality They have earlier check in & later check out then most other hotels in the area The location is downtown very close to the old market but I prefer to be closer as I’m lazy 😆 I didn’t love that there was very little loading/unloading zone parking in front of the hotel, no valet parking & we had to park in parking garage across the street I also didn’t realize that there were no microwave or mini-fridge in the room until arriving which was a bit of a let down because we had leftovers from dinner 👎 All in all, GREAT hotel! Would highly recommend!

We were so excited to stay at the Peregrine to celebrate our wedding anniversary The hotel is beautiful and classy, and the location seemed ideal The rooftop bar is nice but a bit small on a busy evening

However, actually sleeping was another issue I had read reviews that said the rooms were very cold, which I’m okay with – I’d much rather be cold than hot at night It seems they either don’t have great control or have over-corrected, because our room was sweltering, no matter that the thermostat was set to 64 degrees The air coming out of the vent was not very cold, and the thermostat was directly below the vent, on the other side of the room from the bed Neither my husband nor I could sleep until about 3 in the morning, after we got up to take cold showers to cool down We slept on top of the covers because it was so hot in the room I am a frequent traveller for work and a Hilton Diamond member, and I have to say I have never experienced this magnitude of temperature control issues before in any hotel – much less one we paid so much money forThe hotel can be lovely and welcoming, but if you can’t get a good night’s sleep, you’ve missed the point I’m grateful we only had one night here and would skip it until they can address these room temperature issues

Hannah Kristine Sewester

Easily one of the most unique and elegant hotels I’ve stayed at! No detail was spared in the renovation of the historical building that the hotel now occupies Very clean rooms Parking was very easy at the Tower Park garage right across the street; felt secure

Location was great as well, only about a 10 minute walk to Old Market area, but quiet at night Rooftop bar was a relaxing environment to end the evening

Very nice Marriott stay Definitely more for business travelers There aren’t too many attractions that are walkable nearby

Only one or two restaurants that was really within walking distanceSo I wouldn’t stay here longterm with family, but for business, it was pretty good Layout of my room was pretty small but they tried to fit in the amenities that they could Good desk, comfy chair, but the layout felt a bit crampedThat being said, the amenities were updated The shower pressure was good and hot A lot of plugs Good iron Everything felt very clean Sometimes with older properties you can’t clean out the “old” but this felt updated and niceService was always very top notch Dining room, front desk, etc always has a smile and willing to help Definitely the best part of the stay was them

Tina Perkins

This place was great everything was amazing from the front desk attendant’s to the room! But the most amazing was the lounge! Glenn and Rachel gave such superb service! Glenn and his old fashioned will have you absolutely wondering what hit your taste buds don’t miss your chance to get one of those when you’re there! Rachel with her knowledge of everything on the menu made it to where I didn’t even have to look and I was able to order she was great and had great conversation!

Olivia Brouwer

Very nice and clean hotel in a great area with tons to do Love the outdoor/indoor pool and lots of space outside on the patio to hang out Loved having the bar/restaurant option and the small convenience store in case you need a snack or beverage

Front desk and bartenders were very friendly and accomodating Only thing that was off was the elevators seemed to get stuck frequently and it was very hot in the hallways/elevators, but the rooms themselves were cool Definitely would recommend this hotel and stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights as a vacation before our first baby arrives and it was perfect! The whole vibe of the hotel was spot on for staying somewhere just a little more special than a regular hotel The rooms were spacious and big bathroom shower area We loved our little balcony to relax for breakfast

We have stayed at Kimpton hotels in the past and this one was another great stay Staff was very friendly and I love the texting option if you need anything! The outdoor pool was phenomenal, it was busy but we knew it would be Food, drinks and DJ were great I would say I wasn’t expecting as many children as there was there Know going in there aren’t many parking options around the hotel (maybe a parking ramp a few blocks down) But you will need to valet your car, which we happily did We went to The Committee Chophouse, the Cottonwood Room & the coffee/breakfast cafe , all were fantastic! Thanks for making this a great and relaxing stay for these parents to be!

Liz Kelly

Exceptional service and accommodations! My husband and I recently stayed 6 nights (Dec 2021) at the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel in Omaha, NE! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the valet staff to the final checkout at the front desk, everything was perfect The entire staff was professional and attentive, providing service beyond expectations and always with a smile The restaurants on site are top rated and highly recommended … we enjoyed them all

Last but not least, the accommodations were extremely comfortable and meticulously clean We can’t wait to visit again, hopefully in the summer so we can enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool!

Steven Z Johnson

We have stayed at the Cottonwood multiple times since they opened We were excited to have a destination/stay-cation hotel in Omaha Top notch food at the Committee Room and top notch drinks at any bar in the hotel

In addition the facility is fantastic However, the most wonderful part of each experience is the customer service From the front desk to house keeping – phenomenalThis last weekend was a disappointment The facility is starting to show some wear The trim was starting to come loose in multiple areas of the room and a few small other details Not anything huge, but it’s already starting to show some significant wear after 2 years It happens at every facility but the real disappointment was the staff We have been blown away in the past by the staff’s thoughtfulness and attention to detail This time between the pool staff and front desk was indifference Valet was good and we tipped accordinglyIf the GM reads this – we understand trying to staff a hotel right now has to be a huge challenge We get it, but it’s the treatment after the stay that is alarming My partner left a dress hanging in the closet We noticed as soon as we got home and called Two days later we have called multiple times and talked to the front desk We have had to do all the calling and get no call backs We get it, it’s on us – we left the dress However in the past the customer service would’ve been so good and responsive This time around it it feels like no one even cares I get that mentality at a Hampton Inn or something like that However not at a price point like the Cottenwood after us doing all of the calling, nobody can find the dress Maybe some other patron took it, who knows stuff happens My partner ordered another dress, but we sure would like some interaction from the hotel and the staff to have the same kind of enthusiasm we love and kept us coming back

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel Stayed here for 5 months for business and did not regret a single second First of all, not only are the elevators are the fastest I’ve ever seen from a hotel, but somehow I never saw one that was broken or down for maintenance during my entire stay

The building has so much character in its decor while also being very clean and well-maintained Kyle and his the incredible staff did everything to ensure our time at the Residence Inn was spectacular From the generous free breakfast offering to the kindness and efficiency of the valets helping out with parking (Jonathan and Ava are the best!), you will be delighted you stopped in Self-parking right across the street is also a breeze Hayley and D at the front desk are so cool and great to chat with! The rooms have amazing views of downtown from all directions and easy access to all Old Market has to offer

Caren Goodrich

The staff is absolutely wonderful and I mean it when I say the customer service was on par! The valets really stood out to me as going above and beyond, not just with the expected services, but their just overall friendly and helpful demeanor We rented a king suite, which was exceptionally clean and spacious The bed was pretty comfortable and my favorite part was the air conditioning/heating

It wasn’t one of those loud window/wall units, it is actually vented I can’t stand that noise, so the lack of that really provided a great night’s sleep My only complaint is the poor design of the toilet paper holder, which in my opinion was installed 180-degrees backwards To tear the toilet paper required two hands Breakfast was also amazing! Fresh food made right there, unlike a majority of hotel breakfast, it was edible!

Charles R

In town for the shareholder meeting and stayed at Residence Inn Very cool historic hotel originally built in the 1930s as a federal building Assistant GM was very friendly and welcoming – told us ghost stories about the eighth floor! Great accommodations and good location to get to CHI Center and Old Market for events and meals

I had the shuttle service pick me up from the airfield – quick friendly service by a young man who has fully recovered from cancer, God bless him

Traveling on business and this hotel is attached to the convention center That alone made it a good choice for the week of classes at the convention center The rooms are very clean and well laid out and the rest of the hotel has seemed well kept and clean

What put this hotel over the top in amazing was the customer service from the front desk staff, in particular Alex She went out of her way, and I mean out of her way, to make my stay as wonderful as it could be When traditional solutions were not rectifying my issue, she took action and solved the problem herself when she could have just gone about her business I appreciate the time she took to care about something that she didn’t have to The time she decided to give to a stranger to make my stay better The kindness that not everyone has and sometimes can be very hard to find I do hope that management of this hotel also recognize what a great employee and an even better person they have in Alex

JJ Schreck

The customer service is out of this world From the front desk to management So bright and welcoming

We had a minor issue with an oversight in our housekeeping, but it was immediately addressed and made right I had never stayed at a Courtyard and always booked with the adjoining hotel not anymore, I will for sure make the Courtyard our preferred stay on our return trip every year!

Cynthia DeBaun

Staff seemed really nice however they seemed short staffed just like everyone I was in town on business and this is close to the office so it’s very convenient The first night I noticed that the carpet was soaking wet by the air conditioner

I informed the front desk 3 times and Noone came to fix it for 3 days One of my employees got checked into a room that had throw up all over it and then had to be checked into a handicapped room because that was all they had

Pattering Around The World

The hotel is nice; good location, easy checking in… but it’s 12 AM and there is a DJ playing music at fullVolume somewhere nearby… I called the front desk and supposedly this happens frequently, but she couldn’t tell me when the music would stop…but it’s a Thursday night… and I have two kids under 4 trying to sleep… Guests should be informed of this disturbance prior to check in, or else whoever assigned us this room should have had a little more consideration for my children and kept us as far away from the event as possible

Kirk Douglas

This rating and review is based off observations alone while attending a convention being held on the grounds The hotel was very clean The staff were friendly and helpful

The layout was nice and once you were away from the main part of the convention the sound quieted down immediately Will most definitely give this place a look if we need a room in the area

Kristin Sadell

Stayed a night to catch a concert next door This is a HUGE hotel, but it was an extremely busy day Waited 49 min to check in

*I received an email the day before about contact free check-in to skip the line Link was broken*Staff was exhausted but friendly My room was on the top floor with a great view Soap, shampoo and conditioner all Crabtree and Evelyn but no lotion Also tissues, not sure if that’s a covid thing But moving along We spent some time in the lobby bar, friendly staff Bed was so comfortable Check out was a breeze Over all happy

We were visiting Creighton with our daughter and found The Farnam to be a fabulous retreat after a day of tours, interviews, and info sessions We have stayed at other Autograph Collection properties and this one provided the same fantastic level of service we are used to!The Valet and Front Desk staff greeted us with enthusiasm and they remembered our names throughout our 3 day stay We stayed in a King suite, which was modern and stunning, and most important to me, super clean and comfortable

We enjoyed the lounge in the lobby with the delicious small plates, and the craft cocktails are amazing! It’s great to venture into such a great location, central to all that Omaha has to offerI’ve already booked three more stays at the Farnam! Can’t wait to see everyone again

The Farnam is a beautiful and clean hotel It is close to the park and good food Walking distance to The Market area

Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and modern They’ve got this fresh scent throughout the lobby and hallways Housekeeping showed up every day, and they did a splendid job each time, something that is lacking in some hotels nowadays We’ll definitely like to stay here next time we visit Omaha Well done!

Can’t say enough about the quality of this hotel both in design and staff/service Brand new beautifully designed hotel incredibly clean and modern Staff was very helpful from check in to check out

Scott the manager is a true asset to the team there and made sure my stay was perfect I want to shout out Sam at the front desk who wrote a hand written note when I arrived Also want to highlight the friendliness of Derek the valet, and Greg a bartender at the Catalyst Stayed in the visionary suite which exceeded my expectations The electric curtains and floor to ceiling glass windows were an elegant touch Proximity to the old market was a huge bonus as that area is very charming and has great shops and restaurants I will be returning to the Farnam!

Location was good It is downtown and not far from Old Market, Orpheum and casinos We stayed on a Friday night

Took a while to get checked in with only 1 person in front of us Guest in front was given like a welcome bag with a couple of bottles of water We were not offered that and by the time we got checked in we didn’t think to ask about it We went out for the evening and got back kind of late When we returned there were no spots to park in the parking lot Had to park down the street and walk to hotel in the dark which was kind of scary The room was nice, but had an old fashioned heating/cooling unit instead of a thermostat The water pressure in the shower was weak The coffee in the room was all decaf, which was a disappointment to my husband who needed his caffeine The bed was comfortable but it was not worth the (approx $160) price There was a lot of noise outside the hotel, sounded like garbage trucks We will not be staying here again It just didn’t compare to other places we have stayed

Rachel Walter

Upfront staff a gentleman and lady were very kind The pool area contained a large pool with a hot tub – nice and relaxingThe room was spacious and clean

Parking was not overcrowded The complimentary breakfast was delicious one of the best we’ve had( mini omletes, sausage links, potatoes, cereal, fruits, waffle makers, muffins, and several drink choices) we’ve stayed at several other areas near the old market and we would choose this over those again

gail terry

Rooms were clean

breakfast was good BUT the front desk staff was RUDE started with the folks in front of us checking in and then went on to us The pool area was dirty There were used bandaids on the floor for 2 days No towels for 2 days either There were bags of garbage piled in the area of the ice machine that hadn’t moved both days Not too inconvenient as the ice machine (on 2 floors) were empty/not working I didn’t lodge complaints as I was not the one paying for the rooms Definitely won’t be back here and will question booking in other cities for our travel

If you’re looking for a wedding venue, DO NOT book with this place They quoted us an amount we could work with and repeatedly upped their pricing in different ways They had a 25% service fee that was never discussed until after we put down a deposit and booked with them and it was on every single thing

It was added to the room rental, the catering, and the bar Not just one 25% flat fee on everythingThey also were extremely hard to coordinate with for months I tried emailing and calling multiple times and it took forever to get my meeting with them for plans and a meal tasting On the day of my wedding, there was no one available to help us set up or tell us what was going on So we just had to fend for ourselves We had lots of family coming from out of town that stayed the whole weekend as well With all of the money that we brought to their business, I would’ve expected more professionalism and understandingOn top of all that, after the wedding and everything was done and our final bill was paid, they sent another bill that needed paid I am extremely disappointed in the professionalism and all of the extra charges that were never discussed beforehand

Our stay was great I want to highlight the chef that made the omelets to order for us every morning for three days Stephanie was wonderful, outgoing and her food was outstanding! The hotel was overrun with kids and she was a trooper! I looked forward to her breakfast every morning

I hope this review gets to her! The ladies cleaning up after all those kids were amazing as well!

I can’t believe this hotel is only a 42! We had a great stay here! It was spotless and smelled clean The mattresses were BeautyRest and so comfortable

They provided a pack n play and bedding for it so we didn’t have to drag ours in The bathroom products smelled so good I didn’t bother unpacking mine The restaurant food was excellent And the staff helped us out with our girls cups Their valet service for parking is very speedy and organized Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in that area!!

We loved our stay at the Magnolia The staff were all friendly, welcoming and kind, from the valets, to the front desk, and Brian and Steve, the bartenders 😉 The boutique hotel has been really nicely updated and everything is very clean

The only downsides are 1) the bathrooms The bathrooms are small, like most older hotels The sliding door didn’t shut completely and handle only works in one direction So, not great, if you’re traveling with someone who doesn’t know you intimately 2) Parking They have a gated lot, but it’s $25/day, high for Omaha We don’t usually valet because we don’t like to wait for our car Other than that, only a few parking spaces out front that are metered during the day, Monday through Saturday 9am-9pmGreat downtown, try the Irish pub downstairs – great, great music and vibe All within a 6 block walk We loved it and plan to come back 🙂

Can I say this has been one of the best hotel experiences I have ever or in a very very very very long time Everyone is so nice Omaha is a tricky city to get around without your own transportation

This hotel picked me up from the airport and answered All questions I had The hotel is 4 blocks from the old market, which you can spend a few hours in and then Go a few blocks down to a beautiful park where you can relax near a cute stream and huge Slides and sculptures The hotel is very clean and dog Friendly The courtyard is amazing It was a 100 degrees here yesterday and I spent the day between old market and the Courtyard They serve complimentary MILK and COOKIES at night! They are driving me to the zoo and the Back to the airport! If anyone is looking to stay at a friendly, beautiful boutique hotel THIS IS THE ONE! Omaha folks are all so friendly but this place is the key to bringing me back again Hands down the best place in Omaha I felt like I was staying with family and friends As a solo traveler…

We are gold elite members eligible for a free upgrade and they could not upgrade us because they said limited availability We asked if they could simply get us free breakfast or even free coffee and they said no All they could do was give us 2 extra little coffee packets for the in room insta-coffee maker😳

Fridge not cold No freezer eitherAll of our food is now warm, hopefully not spoiled, and all ice packs melted 😞 I told them about that and he told me where the ice machine is located 🤷🏻‍♂️

DO NOT STAY HERE! Very rude and extremely unprofessional staff with obvious lack of training & hotel itself has cleanliness issues:- We booked with a group of people I called the hotel to ensure they had room for our group, they confirmed they had more than enough available rooms I booked a room for our family and then went back to our group and everyone else followed suit

The day of our stay, I called to see if we could check in early The woman at the front desk said that she found our reservation, the hotel was fully booked and the cleaning staff was doing everything they could to get the rooms ready, but they wouldn’t be able to do an early check in at the time of my call She told me that I should call back at 1pm and that she would put us in the first available room At around 1pm a member of our group received a call that their room was being cancelled, however they resolved the issue When I went to check into the hotel I was told that our room had been cancelled due to overbooking I asked why our room? I knew that I had booked prior to the 6 other people in our group and there were 9 rooms available when I called and booked? The front desk clerk was EXTREMELY rude But, the manager Buffy was even worse I asked her “why our room”? She couldn’t answer, said the girl that was there before her didn’t even leave any notes I continued to explain the situation and why it didn’t make sense that our room was cancelled and that we were there with a group Buffy said with a lot of attitude as she was walking away “we don’t have room for you here” We didn’t receive a phone call or even an E-mail letting us know our room was cancelled, nor did we receive an apology We did receive a lot of attitude and I wasn’t the only one Upon reading other reviews it appears this is not the first time this has happened Have fun finding another hotel when this one overbooks itself and doesn’t even have the courtesy to notify you- All of the rest of the members of our group did stay there and said that we were lucky we stayed somewhere else I was told that the rooms looked like they weren’t clean One member of group said that it looked like there was a bloody palm print with blood dripping down the wall in their room

Staybridge are wonderful hotels no matter where you are at They provide a pretty decent breakfast not just a continental one Plenty of choices

They also have a happy hour which is nice to come back toThe amenities is the room is like a timeshare with a full size fridge, stovetop and microwave, couch, desk and big bathroom This hotel must have high traffic because i can feel the indentation of the one side of mattress being used more than the other I would suggest just flipping mattress a littke more oftenShout out to Sandee, the cook and the happy hour ladies Sandee helped me with my job and the other ladies were fun Cook had skills!!Hope to be back! Thank you!
