Best hotel in Pecos Hot meals plural Beds made with Military precision

Even spotted the manager helping the room cleaning ladies and doing laundry herself Literally the definition of leading by example Every single employee was pleasant and gracious You want a place that will go far above and beyond for you then go to this place Hotel ratings are based largely on availability amenities and if this place had a pool it would be at least 3 star but they run the place as if it was at least 3 star or above regardless You stay anyplace else and you’re missing out on the best hotel in town

Working a couple days in Pecos and didn’t want to haul my 5th wheel down and deal with the hassle This was my third hotel in three days, have not been impressed with the others First thing walking in, Byron greeted me with a smile and was very pleasurable to deal with

Checked in with no hassle, walked in the room and I was immediately impressed! VERY clean and has more than what I need for my stay! They offer dinners and breakfast, how can you beat that? This will be my go to hotel to stay or recommend to coworkers! Great job!

Was placed in room 216 and was horrible At around 5 in the morning the pigeons started cooing and was no longer able to get sleep On top of that their was a upstairs guest who would not stop stomping around when I tried to discuss this with the front desk agent she was not helpful and I guess thought I was trying to get put of paying for the room when I payed cash the night before when I arrived

And then she went as far as saying ” pigeons that’s strange we always have a guest who always gets the room and HE never complains” Idk but I for sure would not recommend and honestly will never stop and sleep here again I would have literally slept better in my truck

Although the rooms are incredibly small, I can’t count it against them since it’s a man camp The rooms are clean, and the included food is the best quality I’ve ever had from a man camp Also the staff is very friendly

The only thing I without complain about is the bed, although it is comfortable it is only a twin size and it would be nice if was at least a full But overall, for a man camp, it’s great

Stopped here for a night while traveling with my family Horrible hotel Shower was taped to “stop” leaking, shower curtain had black stains and holes all over

The room walls dirty My daughter pulled the comforter down and a bug came running out Very dirty, and the room smelled like cheap perfume Check in was fine But rooms are horrible Sketchy characters walking and sitting around with no shoes and half dressed, smoking in the lobby

We ordered a room with two queen beds To our surprise we got a room with a closed off sleeping area which was a plus There was a pull out couch in the living area two Tvs and a kitchenette

The space for the accommodations was well thought out, the room was super clean and smelled clean The beds were super soft – got a good night’s sleep When we got to our next hotel, hubs was wishing it was like Staybridge which says alot because he doesn’t like staying in hotels in general Would have been 5 stars but we were unsure if the dishwasher had been ran prior to check in

Be aware: they charge 17% taxThe hotel was clean, friendly and quiet I was not aware of the high tax rate here When I called to question the extra charge after my stay, they informed me it was the tax

I mentioned that it seems excessive for a tax charge so I asked what their tax rate is and it is 17% So just an FYI to anyone who plans on staying here It is a nice stay but you’ll pay a high tax rate…the maximum allowable tax rate for the state

Everything is great here except the gym Can you please make sure it stays open till the time it’s supposed to be open It’s been several times that my co workers who stay here and hubby have tried to go here to work out and it’s been closed with more than enough time to get a good workout in before it closes

That’s a big one for us bc that was one amenity we are big on Fix this and I will change this to 5 stars Thank you

Paul Kendzior

Poorly maintained driveways, loud and rowdy guests They run out of water every other week it seems No ice

Unreliable internet Gym and laundry only open for business hours Very expensive and tiny laundry machines They have onsite propane but be prepared to wait a while for someone to be available to fill your tanks Location close to the intersection of 285 and 1450 makes for listening to Jake brakes and grinding gears at all hours from road traffic Their rental rv’s make for “interesting” transient guests

Mark Diaz

Nice place a plus on covered spaces just quite friendly small town environment, wifi, cable, gym, laundry mat all this is a plus You get your money’s worth just in the amenities they offer management is great I left my RV there unoccupied for several days and nothing was missing everything the same way I left it

I recommend to everyone this is by far one of the best RV places other than some of the KOA’s this place is in that category

For it being Pecos, and a lot of workers this is a great place to stay The staff is very accommodating, and my room is very clean every time I come back after being in the field for a long day AC in the 100+ temperatures is awesome, and the items provided for hygiene are top notch, really recommend this hotel for short or extended stays

Thank you! Forgot to mention the staff, 2nd to none! I am always impressed with my reception and the ease of checking in, I will always stay here when in the area!

James Murry

As a loyal guest for many years now, I’m not impressed with this no reservation-no stay policy If you’ve got the vacancy why not let me stay? Of all the times I’ve stayed, I have loved it The breakfast, the pool, hot tub, what’s not to love

The guys at the front are always pleasant, polite, and respectful Not sure why the women are on the warpath about this no reservation-no stay policy A simple no would have sufficed without blowing up about it Only the men have thanked me for my return business and place me close to the elevator due to noticing my disability without me having to ask for it Not so much the women at the front, but well done guys, Well done

I was recently in Pecos, Texas and stayed at the Pecos Home2 Suites for a little less than a week I was greeted by 2 incredibly friendly and funny staff at the check-in desk They were kind enough to move me to a room close to the elevators (as we had to load up hundreds of pounds of equipment every morning and evening for work)

Every time I passed by these ladies they were always nice and funny – makes being on the road much more enjoyable The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable the parking was plentiful Anytime I find myself in Pecos, I know where I’ll be staying Thank you!

Darlene R

We have stayed at this location twice since January I appreciate its proximity to the I-20 – easy access to and from – and the thoughtful design of the spacious rooms The common areas and rooms were reasonably clean with some natural wear and tear starting to be evident – e

g rust in the shower and scuff marks on the walls, etc – and the customer service was terrific Breakfast options were plentiful with hot and cold items to choose from in an open and relaxed dining area Laundry and fitness rooms were well maintained as well! The staff are very friendly and down to earth and there is plenty of ample parking If the rooms and common areas were deep cleaned with less wear and tear evidence, this would otherwise be 5 stars for me

This hotel has a particular front desk staff who is unprofessional and incredibly rude As I am staying there, I was repeatedly faced with hostility and arrogant behavior from her I had to call the front desk for towels as I had run out of clean ones, and they informed me they would get me some

However, I never received them that day, and I didn’t receive them the following day, either Three days from that call, I needed toilet paper and happened to hear one of the housekeeping ladies in the hallway With my mask on, from inside my room, I asked if she could get me some toilet paper While I asked, she acknowledged that they were supposed to get me some towels as well The housekeeping lady placed the items on the ground, and I picked them up after she left the area I still had not received any towels The following day, I also had some garbage that needed to be taken out, as well as some cleaning solutions for the room Once again, with my mask on and inside my room, I asked if I could receive some towels and solutions The lady was incredibly kind and got me what I needed, putting them in front of my door so it could be contactless However, around an hour later, I got a call from the front desk saying that I was posing a risk to the housekeepers because I was in quarantine at the time I explained that it was contactless and it was not my intention to endanger anyone Today, I called to ask how to dispose of my garbage in my room, and the front desk told me to leave the garbage by my door I did so at around 3 PM By 8 PM, nobody had come to grab my garbage I had ordered DoorDash and the Dasher had to leave my food in front of the garbage bags near my door I thought it was ironic that the front desk claimed I was endangering the housekeeping staff, yet they felt it was appropriate to leave garbage in the hallway for hours I attempted to dispose of it myself, but the desk told me not to do so and to leave it to them When I relayed my concerns to the front desk I was dismissed rudely and told that there was no one else to help me with my garbage I cannot stress enough how dehumanizing and rude the staff is here, but the cleaning ladies were exceptionally kind to me and did everything they could to help meIn times like the present, where nobody is exempt to this virus, staff should have at least an ounce of empathy when dealing with guest that are going through the awfulness of it, we should be treated with courtesy and respect!I wouldn’t recommend Homes2 Suites in Pecos, TX to anyone, not even to my worst enemy

Chris and Mimi behind the desk were great Met the Manager (Andrew) this morning He also was very friendly and accommodating

Everything was very clean and the room was wonderful One of the nicest we’ve stayed in If I had to write something wrong, the only thing I can think of aesthetically was the caulking around the bathtub which we didn’t even use I would recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives GREAT PLACE!

Pleasantly surprised when I checked into this hotel I was expecting it to be ran down and raggedy being that it’s in the middle of no whereThe hotel is spacious with a upscale appearance inside

Hotel employees are quick and attentive Wi-Fi service is good Free breakfast is served from 6:30am to 9:30am with a combination of cold and hot foods being servedWould of gave this place 5* but none of the gym equipment was in working order and the pool was out of service

GoogleThe general manager Daisy was the most unprofessional person I have ever Dealt with My husband was charged double on our credit card for a week stay I called to talk to somebody was told that it was going to get corrected they deleted one of the amounts and then turned around and charged two more times I called to talk to the general manager “ Daisy “ and she told me to use common sense

🤬🤬🤬 on my credit card statement that it was not changed I told her it is a pending charge on my card And yes they hold that amount off my card She actually hung up on me so I called a supervisor with the corporate office and complained about her Common courtesy and general managers and any employee should know not to talk to their customers like that ever We will be finding another hotel for my husband‘s next trip He has been checking in that hotel every week for the last two years for work… but no more…Unsatisfied customer

Very nice hotel We were pleased with the staff service and our room My husband and son used the workout area and found it clean and handy

They also used the hot tub and found it warm and inviting This La Quinta was very nice We were traveling across country for the week and stayed at all Wyndham owned properties Sadly, there was a BIG difference in the cleanliness and quality of each one

We, Lloyd and Alice had exceptional service from the entire staff at the Pecos TX La Quinta The front desk staff including Monica Veliz were all helpful as I had been involved in an accident on June 26th and had no transportation Monica, on her day off, volunteered to drive me to Odesa TX where a rental car was available

Then Octavio Garcia, who was just starting his lunch break, volunteered to take me to the wrecker holding yard to allow me to collect my families posesions Octavio with my stuff filling his truck then took me back to the hotel and helped me move our stuff to our room Octavio went above the call delaying his lunch at home over 2 hours My compliments to manager Malinda Phillips for hiring and training her excellent staffBest RegardsLloyd and Altce Satterfield
