Had a great time, but this place needs help! The bathrooms are always clogged and without tp or soap People will absolutely let their kids that are younger than 6, run rampant on the playground with no supervision I can’t tell you how many times unsupervised children pushed my children or walked up to me to find their parents

Also an added bonus we all have our political sides, but enough trump and confederate flags here please Truly this campground doesn’t feel very inclusive

First of all when checking in nobody was there to check us in We had to speak to the maintenance person for someone to tell us where to park We had a 50 amp site and after the first day it would not work for us, it registered e-2 which is open ground

We connected our 30 amp chord and all was good on our side I spoke to the staff and they brought someone out to look at it but said it had to be our problem all is good on there end I asked to change campsites so that I could verify this info and they said no someone was scheduled to check into that site today I just wanted to know if I needed to be concerned or not with my chord That was on a Friday and we checked out on Sunday Nobody ever checked into the site As we were leaving I pulled my RV over to the other site and plugged it in and what do you know all was good We could have stayed at that site for the three days I spoke to the maintenance person when leaving to let them know that their electrical box has issues He seemed not to care: we are now at our new site hooked up to a 50 amp and no issues We would not stay there again

Spots are extremely close together Water pressure is non existent The pool/pond is closed and covered in algae and the playground equipment looks as if you would get tetanus from it

The bathrooms are terrible and other than it being close to the river there is nothing much to do for kids Worst place we’ve camped at so far Never coming back

We we’re pleasantly surprised by the room Nice size room, full fridge with ice maker, sink ,stove, microwave and a recliner made of real leather and even the bedding and towels were high quality The room was so clean, we thought we may have been the first occupants

We will definitely stay there again The only thing it needed was one of those tall lighted signs so you can find it easier at night

We stayed here for 14 days $160000

Because of covid garbage pickup was supposed to be every Sunday, Full service every Wednesday The last time anyone came to our room was 2 Wednesdays ago That’s 10 days I kept calling and going in person to the front desk to ask for at least garbage pickup every day for the last week Each time, I was told that it would be taken care of They even said they would notify the hotel manager I even was told that there would be a message sent to the service persons phone Never kept any of their promises Couldn’t wait to get out of that place And here is the icing on the cake I woke up this morning and found out our refrigerator wasn’t working Lost all the food we had in the freezer and fridge All that money I spent staying here and such terrible service And you would think there would be a free breakfast for what they are charging? No You have to order a breakfast sandwich and a few things to go with it before 8pm the night before, and they charge you full price for it They don’t even give you a free bottle of water Their kitchenette has a full-size coffee maker, a toaster, and an electric stove top No pots or pans to cook with No utensils like spoons, forks, or knives You will have to buy a fry pan or a cooking pot

5 STARS Very clean Exceptional staff

I had a minor surgery prior to staying and they had no problem giving me a couple extra pillows Then I lost a sentimental piece of jewelry and not only were they able to locate it after my departure, their manager called me personally and shipped it to me It’s the little things I will definitely be returning next time I am in town!

We had our wedding in Aurora and had lots of guests from out of town This was the hotel of choice and my wife and I stayed there as well It’s rare to stay somewhere and have no complaints but there are none

It’s super clean, the rooms are big and well accommodated, and above all the service was top-notch The front desk staff were so helpful I’ve stayed in a lot of Holiday Inns and this is the nicest Would recommend to anyone

Vickie Musni

Great experience Stayed here for three nights while in town for a wedding Staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable

I really appreciate big bathroom counters, and small bathroom night light, and having a microwave in the room I was disappointed we couldn’t log in to Netflix on the room TV or find any way to even purchase a movie

Scotty Ngo

This was probably the nicest Holiday Inn Express we’ve ever stayed at The hotel was clean and the front desk staff couldn’t be any nicer, we appreciate their hospitality! Traveling all the way from Phila, they made our few nights stay very comfortable and enjoyable ! Shout out to Julius for being so friendly to our little baby ! Dealing with Hiral has been an absolute pleasure! We have been sending employees down to stay at this Comfort Inn for months during an out of town job and she was always extremely helpful, often going above and beyond her duties to make sure we were taken care of Truly made booking and cancelling a breeze I didn’t stay at this hotel personally so I can’t speak to “my stay” but our employees never complained about noise or cleanliness issues

Rashawn Nance

I understand the service industry can be tough You’re dealing with different personalities all day One word of advice, everyone is not the same nor should they be treated as if they did something wrong simply by checking in

Letting go the obvious bad taste with the lack of welcoming atmosphere, I was introduced to something I couldn’t ignore The room was dirty but felt clean I slept on top of the covers as I always prefer After my alarm went off I saw something out of my peripheral crawling It scattered quickly and I thought nothing of it Then I saw it again on the night stand and it was a roach! Staring at me like I don’t belong here I called the front desk and accused guests of bringing them in She profusely blamed everyone instead of accepting responsibility She then proceeded to ask me to bring it to her for proof, what?!!!! After killing it with my scandal I saw yet another one It doesn’t matter what she thinks it’s obvious you guys have bugs Please check all of room 222 before staying FYI you’ll also have a $150 deposit on arrival even if you used a third party to pay for the hotel

I’m staying here for a business trip and my company paid for me and some coworkers to stay here for the weekVery disappointed staying at this hotelThe rooms are not clean

My bedding had like dust stuff on itBeen feeling itchy in my roomThe breakfast is disgustingThe front desk is extremely rude after checking in like they put a front up at first pretending to be niceNot helpful at when you ask them for anythingThe pool is closedThe area where the hotel is doesn’t give safe vibes and the other hotel guests I’ve encountered seem sketchyThe company will reply to this saying they can’t find me on their records like I’ve seen in other reviews Well I’m 100% a guest here and this place is gross!!!Trust me please beware and find somewhere better 🙁

This is a great RV Park Campground not so much But they have a number of trails mostly in not wooded areas but we didn’t walk all of them

All of the sites except primitive camp grounds 4 thru 9(I am not sure if those are the exact number but only 5 sites are actual in wooded areas), and they have no water or electric hook ups But there are plenty of spickets Also they let you look and than tell them which site you chose If you go camping to disconnect the primitive area is great

Our stay was totally better than expected I don’t think I’ve ever had an all around great experience at any hotel, ever Absolutely no complaints!Pool is open til 11pm

Breakfast is amazing & the staff does a great job at keeping up with the food demandThe hotel itself is extremely cleanUpon first walking into our room, it smelled fresh & inviting—not something I’ve immediately noticed at other hotels Room was immaculate, the beds very comfortableLadies at the front desk were great personable & very responsive to any needs or requestsStill find it hard to believe the low rate I paid for 2 nights & the all around great experience of this stay Will definitely recommend this place to others!

Jayme Spoolstra

Stayed here for a work weekend Came in about 1-1/2 early before check in and worked with Nora and her manager to get checked in early – I really appreciated it as I was going to be working until close to midnight that evening They saved me a huge headache of doing it later

Room was clean, comfortable, and everything I really neededThanks again!

Dylan Babcock

No complaints It was clean and affortable The staff were nice and friendly, especially Rico

The only area for improvement would be the breakfast It was a typical hotel breakfast The eggs, sausage, and potatoes could be better Also, the hallways were very dim If you are traveling to Chicago, this is a great place to stop outside of the city

The place was clean, we fought with the ac, It worked but would freeze you to death unless you set it on 80 then it would get warm After 2 days sleeping on the bed we were so sore it was a relief to get back on the road again The car was more comfortable than the bed

The restaurant and bar isn’t open They can’t seem to find enough people to work Seems to be an epidemic Have the same problem at home

R R

It was just ok Nothing fancy The breakfast has a pancake maker and grab and go items

The pool was clean and warm, but it was a pain to have to go get your towels at the front desk It would be easier to have the towels at the pool area A clock in the pool area would also be nice The room was ok The carpet is old and has lumps and bumps in it The chair had a chair cover over it There are not updated USB plugs in the room Adding USB ports to the room would be a plus Kind of outdated Before you shower, make sure the machine in the shower has shampoo/conditioner/shower gel Ours was completely empty when we arrived For some reason, the floor we stayed on smelled like pot I’ve seen this in other people’s reviews, too Makes you wonder if it’s a staff member The hotel could be updated, even though it isn’t that old They have a restaurant, however it is not open Overall, it was ok, but could use some improvements I’m not sure that I felt it was worth the money for what you get

Dee Hopping

Also the carpet in the rooms were disgusting!! Seemed like they haven’t been cleaned in forever!! So many stains, tv sucked, smelled nasty, air kept breaking, toet breaking, never came in and cleaned for our 4 day staynever!!! They made me downstairs everytime I had to get towels, washrags, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, our stuff was completely empty in the shower

never brought us anything!!! It was our responsibility for everything u wanted, needed, cleaning, supplies, never gave us clean sheets, towels nothing!!! Worse experience I’ve had and like I mentioned NO WIFI!!!! Tons of dropped calls and when it restored it went back off in seconds!! Absolutely terribleI shouldn’t been refunded or some kind of discount for doing everything ourselvescleaning ppl never even knocked on our door and ask if we needed somethingalso called down to desk numerous times and they hardly ever answered the phones there!!! So had to walk downstairs everytime!!! I won’t be staying there again unless I get a free stay!!! Def not worth $138
