Our anniversary stay was magical The Mayan room was so very calming Live fish in the waterfall reservoir was a cute little touch

The design is beautiful and flawless right down to the color of the sinks and even the forest green toilet Every detail was taken into account creating an all-encompassing experience The complimentary breakfast was substantial enough and we loved the partnership you have with a local restaurant This location is pretty central and within walking distance to any place we wanted/needed to go

Clean! Very clean theme roomsThe caveman was just amazing All I can say is dudes take your wives and enjoy an amazing space

Stayed in a different room on day 2 and didn’t receive complimentary breakfast but things happen Everything else so amazing that who cares Would I go back oh yeah

Michael Janousek

We reserved the room for our son and daughter in law for their honeymoon evening They did not make it to the hotel in time for check in My son did not know to call the customer service number for late check in, and assumed they missed out on the room

When we called to explain and apologize for our missed communication the next day, the owner went over and above to accommodate our son and his wife to get them another night The situation was not the fault of the venue by any means The desk clerk was very friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and accommodating The room and service were excellent We would strongly recommend staying in this fun hotel for any special occasion, or any occasion at all We cannot thank the hotel owners and staff enoughHighly recommend!

My son and I stayed here for one night while in town on a golf trip The good part was that there were beds and we stayed under a roof while sleeping Sadly, this hotel should probably be leveled and either rebuilt or the land sold since overall the useful life span of this property is likely over

The beds were very soft, the pillows were very bad, the bathrooms were not maintained (old caulk, fixtures hard to operate, ceilings failing in, etc There is no breakfast and the front desk personnel was nice enough but not overly warm or welcomingWould advise anyone considering this property to spend a little extra and go to one of the nicer properties in Pocatello

Jeffrey Midguard

Affordable and available on short notice on a Friday The lobby is nicely appointed, hallways and many of the rooms are still being worked on If they have pool and hot tub ready for summer it will be nice, especially if the breakfast returns

There is a restaurant on site, steakhouse with the best burgers ever And there is parking for any kind of large vehicle

Stiffy

The worst hotel stay I’ve ever had, hands down I am half way through my stay and since close to 8 am this morning (a Saturday) there has been very loud and obnoxious work crews outside of my room They’re either outside my room door or outside the sliding glass patio door or both! It’s awful

I couldn’t rest no matter how hard I tried It’s nearly 7 pm on Saturday evening and they’re still here Standing right outside my sliding glass door on the pool side A door that I’ve discovered doesn’t even lock AND to top it all off, I can hear everything they’re saying and they’ve made me uncomfortable to the point that I’m worried to leave my room I will never stay here again

The first thing any guest notices is the front reception staff The two girls there were busy but efficient and so helpful to everyone whether in line or on the phone They made my experience one of the best for greeting and getting settled in

The pool could be seen from reception and was large, well kept and had a resort feel – very popular with everyone having a good time In the room (which they upgraded gratis) because I asked for one that had been renovated recently, the linens were high quality and the bed very comfortable with lots of pillows The bathroom had been renovated and was very large and everything was clean including the grout! The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise with make your own waffles, chafing dishes of eggs/ sausage and even fresh biscuits and gravy as well as steel cut oats with fresh fruit What a difference from La Quinta where I previously stayed and was given a brown bag with stale muffin/ soft apple and juice box by a surly receptionist! I would recommend Best Western to everyone and I am very fussy! It is much nicer than many of the 3 star hotels and wonder why it was only 25 Thank you to all the staff who were so helpful and friendly!

Matthew Nigro

I’m really liking Best Westerns, they’re becoming our go-to when road tripping This place had “suites” that were like five bucks more, and man it was nice I actually wanted to stay another night just because of this place, but we had to move on

If there was an option for security I might ding these guys a star, because the back outer doors don’t lock, no key needed, even late at night I didn’t like that But overall, this place is excellent Great breakfast, great prices, nice pool and gym, and amazing rooms Thanks for a great stay!

Kandi Malphrus

Check-in and check-out staff were friendly and helpful! Room was clean and quiet Beds were comfy Work space in the room was adequate for what I needed to accomplish

Good water pressure for showers Breakfast was delicious – scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, pancakes, fresh yogurt, pastries, cereal, juices, hot cocoa, coffee, milk, almond milk, and hot tea Plenty of restaurant options in the area

It was supposed to be $6780 But we did have a small dog that we called ahead about and was told it was $10 dollars extra (We also looked it up on Thunderbirds website)

When we got here they changed it to $15 extra for a pet So they gave me a receipt showing I paid 8280 When I checked my credit card showed  Robinson Hospitality had taken out $9900 We spoke with the front desk and they said to call our credit card company We did and the card company (Visa) said yeah Robinson Hospitality took out $9900 My  room rate should have been 7780  So basically Robinson Hospitality stole $2200 from me Then we get to our room and the chair is covered in sunflower seed shells there is a Jolly Rancher candy stuck to the blanket of one of the beds the television set on a dresser that was shorter than the bed making it impossible to watch from the bed there was no heat not even a real heat light in the bathroom and to top it off some people checked in late directly above our room and were up all night being extremely loud Apparently there are people that live full time in the hotel because kids were riding bikes all over in the parking lot making it extremely difficult to back your vehicle out or anything Just a bad experience and horrible first impression when you get stolen from in the beginning  Of course they left a note telling us to be sure and tip house keeping What a joke Oh and the small bible in the room had a pentagram drawn on it and Lucifer written across it with a bunch of other sickening stuff If anything a full refund including the $22 stolen dollars would be the only real resolution

We stopped here for an overnighter on our way back to Montana It is nice enough but seemed to miss the mark for usNothing is really open until Thursday-Sunday it seemed

No buffets early in the week, other eateries closed, kids play zone closed Pool was indoor but very small The one place to eat was poorly serviced (not friendly, not attentive) and the food was straight off a Sysco truck, so nothing wild thereWith 4 kids we got the big suite and it was nice enough but just lacked what you paid for Outside doors poured in cold air as the seals are not tight Fireplace didn’t heat, just lights up Shower and tub had a lot of water spots, so guessing they don’t clean those real well “TV” in the bathroom mirror never turned on and was tiny! Bathroom sink literally can leak outside of the bowl if a kid doesn’t fully turn it off, causing minor flooding of the bathroom floor! Just a really bad design to the faucet and bowlOverall, it beats a Comfort Inn most days but not a lot of value with no included breakfast options and some minor “swings and misses” Being our first Native American casino and hotel, we thought it’d be nicer honestly Definitely won’t stop in again, sadly

Robert Long

Years later, I still remember how rude one staff member was about the fact that I was looking for a poker game In a casino How DARE I?“There are… NO

Table games In IDAHO, SIR”Loved the room, loved the restaurant staff… but unlikely to go back because of the “casino” floor I’ll just go to Vegas

Donna B

The last several times it’s been very very tight I don’t expect to win every time but I do expect to be able to play for a couple minutes before my five bucks is gone I go there at least two or 3 times a month and they still don’t give you the monthly five bucks which I think is real cheap

They do still have a few of the older games left which I like The people are nice and the place is clean the cafe is pretty good I do enjoy Thursdays for senior day because they have the drawing and the 20% discount at the cafe They just need to loosen up a little bit

This is an older TownePlace Suites but overall it is ok for a nightJust needed a place to sleep while headed Northbound on I-15 The hotel was sold out but my two rooms weren’t given away even after arriving after 10pm on a Friday night Easter weekend

The rooms, amenities and breakfast were the typical fare you’ve come to expect from TPSFront desk staff were all business although it was late when I arrived so it was most likely the end of their day and I don’t blame them for not having the beginning shift smile and cheerOne thing I didn’t like were the pillows Not sure why Marriott properties are putting standard size pillows on the king beds nowGiven the location and now knowing what the property offers I would stay here again the next time I’m passing through

Prospective guests beware: Poor soundproofing, cheap amenities, and questionable management I found this place to be unpleasant and a waste of time to use as an extended stay hotelAmenities and comforts: Our 2 bedroom suite had an oven (one of the cheapest on the market – no oven light or window), but no pots and pans whatsoever – and not a single pyrex dish or mixing bowl

Our room came with one roll of paper towels (no extra roll), and 2 extra pillows – both with no pillow cases The padding under the carpet was so worn down that the soundproofing/vibration damping was almost non-existent Noise from the floor above was excessive, and it didn’t sound like they were doing anything particularly loud – just walking around I could feel the placement of the floor joists as I walked around, myselfStaff, management, laundry: Longer explanation here The ladies at the front desk were great, as was the guy working nights It was easy to tell that the management here was “the problem”, preventing staff from being of further assistance, even going as far as talking over them while they were trying to assist me (male supervisor, June 15, 1PM)I asked for $40 worth of quarters to do laundry on our first day here The lady at the desk sent me to a nearby gas station to use an ATM and get cash, so I did I came back in about 20 minutes with cash, and they didn’t have any quarters at all She called [her manager, presumably] and explained that I wanted $40 worth of quarters, and that she didn’t have any She asked me if I could wait until the next morning, and I said yes I specifically asked while I was there, if $40 was too much She said no, she just didn’t have any quarters at the timeI came back the next day, and asked for $40 in quarters, and they gave me $20 I asked again if $40 was too much, and a male supervisor (June 15, 1PM) rudely interrupted from an office behind the front desk, “yes it is”, and came out and asked me what I’m doing with $40 in quarters Laundry is what I was doing, at their extended stay hotel – not that it was any of his business He went back into his office and rambled loudly over the lady who was talking to me (kindly and professionally so) for the rest of my short visit to the front desk I have no idea what he was saying, but he was indeed talking to me and/or the lady at the desk, literally from inside of his office The lady I was talking to directly seemed far too accustomed to this kind of unprofessional demeanor by her manager, but I don’t think he’d be acting like that if upper management was present I’d sincerely recommend hiring someone better suited for that positionI spent $16 doing 2 loads of laundry on that day, getting all of it to properly dry, and also wasted $6 the night before on their washing machine that locked my clothes in Nobody mentioned anything about that the next day, they just left me to it The guy who was working nights (June 15, 2AM) went above and beyond to try to get the washing machine unlocked for me He genuinely did his best to help When I spent $16 on my 2 loads of laundry the next day, one of the washing machines wouldn’t start, because it had a broken off start button The lady (Chey?) who came down to the laundry room to start it for me, for some reason changed the setting on it to a lower one, without telling me (I had deliberately selected ‘heavy duty’) Not something that could have been accidentalWe had 2 loads of laundry to go at this point, and while I asked the front desk once again to prepare another $20 in quarters, they declined, with no offer to accommodate in any other way I requested that their manager explain to me why this happened, and: who would have guessed? The manager was suddenly able to procure more quartersI would be reluctant to stay here again, or recommend it to others, due to the unprofessional management and poor internal communication There’s no excuse for either of those things in a developed business

Kevyn Taylor

The rooms are spacious but this hotel is the Marriott that Time forgot The furniture is old and falling apart The lights are old and gold and consequently rooms are dark

There are no USB plugins for chargers etc Just regular plugs and old modem sockets The TVs fortunately are modern with streaming channels I like Marriotts in general but this one needs a remodel

We have stayed at the hotel a few times in Pocatello and it is always a great time The front desk staff was nice and very accommodating when the thermostat in our room was not working They changed us to an even better room and no additional cost

The pool was fun for the kids to swim in and well maintainedThe breakfast was decent for Continental and did have hot food items Self serve style but the lady that runs the breakfast was an absolute standout employee She kept coming out and talking to everyone Making sure everyone got what they wanted and needed She kept the area clean and well stocked and was so so nice! She went above and beyond!

I stayed here on Tuesday night for a work trip There are 2 sections to the hotel and the one seems nicer than the other The front desk gal that checked me in was amazing! Super friendly, over the top nice!! The 3rd floor hallway to my room was so dirty! Carpets had not been vacuumed in a while they looked rough

Someone had dripped blood in the elevator and they were pretty dirty as well The room was clean and nice, bed was soft For the cost you can’t go wrong free breakfast was good

Brooke Briggs

Stayed here during medical treatment I was having at the West Clinic and appreciated that they honored that and gave me good pricing While I was there the hot water went out for a half of a day, so that was a little interesting, but they apologized and got it working as quick as possible Things were clean and tidy for the most part and the staff was helpful

Breakfast was good sized and they had quite a few options

Casey Wheat

Have a broken leg, can not put weight on it, made a reservation in February for a wedding, called a month ago to reserve a handicap room Was told on the phone it would be no problem, we could have a room with an accessible bathroom Got to the hotel, check in guy was EXTREMELY RUDE and UNAPOLOGETIC about the fact we were booked in a non accessible room

He said they were full Offered no remedy, no apology and said to call management Monday Oh boy will I ever Not only is this breaking the law but extremely disrespectful A hotel should have more hospitality and should bare minimum offer a shower chair if they can not offer accessible rooms But again its breaking the law to not have accommodations available when needed for accessibility

First off, Brooklyn at the front desk was very helpful and very nice No issues with the staff at this hotel at all The issue I had was with the price of the room and the condition/cleanliness of the room

My mother-in-law was moved to hospice care on a Monday and had about a week to live I immediately tried to get a hotel room for the week and soon found out that there were NO hotels that had rooms available for an entire week All rooms were booked on Thursday and Friday for the state high school wrestling championship We got a room at Red Lion for Monday through Wednesday Brooklyn told my wife to keep checking each day to see if there are any cancellations There ended up being a cancellation and we were able to stay in the room through Saturday The room had peeling wallpaper, a very dirty/worn sitting chair and there was hair in the tub/shower from the previous guest It looks like they updated the flooring in the room and the beds were comfortable, but they upped the nightly rate from $110 to $200 per night Definitely not a $200/night room!

Kaci Palmetto

Absolutely beautiful hotel! Definitely needs some updating but it’s cleanly and smelt good! I didn’t catch this young woman’s name but she certainly was a busy bee! I was at the pool but I constantly saw her passing by with towels, pillows, cleaning supplies, you name it! I did stop her in the hallway and mention how good of a job she was doing! Should have caught her name then but I didn’t unfortunately She had beautiful red hair with glasses, very sweet girl! She even told me what she was using to make it smell so good Definitely will be staying with my husband there again when we pass through next! Very accommodating and friendly staff, and very comfortable and clean rooms and overall hotel location was convenient!

Amber Crump

I booked this hotel for my sons birthday Horrible experience Upon arrival, I found out another huge pool party was booked on top of mine even though I spoke the front desk and also the manager about my party and reservation

4 rooms booked, dirty but another was moved far from the other rooms I booked Most of staff were unprofessional I then got to the suite and nothing was working Some things needed batteries and hook up Lamp and jetted tub broke No garbage in the bathroom Mold in the bathroom shower and floors were dirty Front desk seemed annoyed more than trying to help appease the situation Bed was uncomfortable and squeaked This hotel is not the same as it used to be I will never stay again The manager did give $20 off my room but I continued to have issues into the evening so this $20 was not enough for the huge inconvenience and uncomfortable stay Beds were so uncomfortable Hallways were cold throughout hotelAlso, for another update Sunday evening after check out All 3 kids I had for the small party broke out in a rash I am assuming from the chlorine in pool Horrible

Luxurious stay and amenities Clean rooms 5 stars for everything except breakfast

If you are vegan, you may not have choice in breakfast Mostly all menu items had eggs in it All menu items were packaged, this may be because of pandemic, I don’t know Since we are traveling after 2 years But overall good experience and definitely would return to stay again

Justin Hadley

The Fairfield gives an amazing experience from check in The staff was very kind and caring for our needs I would especially would like to thank Monique and Randy for making our stay especially enjoyable! We were in town for a concert and that experience went a little sideways but you two took care of us and went above and beyond out expectations!! Thank you again we will be back in the future

I called something like 20 hotels looking for a room, they were all full I don’t know if there was a convention, conference or meeting of the local potato growers but out of all of the calls with front desk workers the lady at the Merriot demonstrated extra care and understanding I don’t know if she is just a natural nightowl or what but I felt better hearing the bad news from her then any of the other calls I made at 2 in the morning

She deserves a commendation for her great attitude and empathy

Had a lady harassing me, calling from front desk phone all morning, I don’t know how this individual got my room number, asking for some one that was not in my room After last call, she came knocking on my door hiding the peephole I never answered because didn’t know who it was until later I saw this individual, they stated it was Jaycee furnace

I have never had no contact with this person I would think motel personnel would not release any names or room number out to just anyoneDONT know about their policies Dissatisfied with the motel safe on this past Sunday morning
