We are currently staying at this resort for vacation; it’s ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!! The units are clean & modern with spa touches in the bathrooms; the kitchen is outstanding for those of us who love to cook a little while on vacation-beautiful dinnerware, plenty of pots and casserole dishes- we are very impressed!!!The property is beautiful and relaxing – listening to the water fall and watching the turtles on the balcony The staff is so nice and guess what NO ONE IS HASSLING US FOR A PRESENTATION TO SELL US SOMETHING!! We stayed here several years ago, it was nice, but they have upgraded and are keeping these units up-to-date The location is perfect, close to everything and great for kids with all the attractions nearby!! Will definitely stay here again

Jo Atkinson

Staff is great! Very helpful and friendlyCan walk to Broadway at the Beach You do need to be realistic about your expectations when it comes to the “convenience store” and you will have to wash your own towels

Not a big deal just be aware (Pool towels weren’t in our room but desk folks took care of that directly when we let them know) Overall we were happy with our stay and would recommend you stay here if you aren’t high maintenance

Bruce Wells

It’s a great place BUT overbooked

our room was supposed to be ready at 3 but it was after 7 pm when we got in It does have a great location that is just far enough away from the beach madness and crowd! We had a top floor end unit 1 bedroom that was very quiet and private I’ll post photos soon Also has an elevator as it’s four stories The pool gets very crowded! Kid friendlyThere is a bar at the pool where you charge the drinks but only had one bartender so the wait can be very long

Whitney

The staff were all wonderful They were funny and kind The pools were all adequate and I enjoyed not having a long walk to the beach

A lot of the other hotels have a much farther walkWe stayed in 1605 and it was clean and had a beautiful viewMy only complaint is my air conditioning was out for 24 hours It was brutal They did offer another room, but it was well after 10pm, and getting us all into another room would have caused more stress than it was worth since we were leaving the next morning I do wish we would have received a discount on that night At $300+ a night, that really was unacceptable

Dirk Dempsey

Checking in the staff were very friendly and helpful by answering questions we had The condo we stayed in was cleaned and ready for our stay We really enjoyed our stay with the kitchen and bathrooms being really nice

Access to the pool and lounge area and walkway to the beach was very nice! The oceanfront view was hard to beat! Definitely recommend this resort over others around here Thank you everyone at the Grand Atlantic!

Kevin H

We stayed for a week in a one bedroom condo It was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly When we needed towels, we just called and it was delivered

Same with other items like soap and dishwasher detergent We had an issue with the dishwasher running, but maintenance quickly resolved it for us An in suite dishwasher and washer/dryer is a huge plus!! We are already thinking of our next trip Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Joshua Richardson

My daughter and I played here for first time Starting was a little different as they didn’t load bags until time to head to tee Fairways were a little tighter than what we are used to but in good shape

Greens were great Rolled true and not too slow or fast Ranger is around often in an attempt to keep slow groups moving Would like to play some other courses on property Would play again!

Jim Sweeney

Travelled – Feb 2022; Although the grounds and courses are in beautiful shape, I can’t get pass the 5+ hour rounds When you drive up to the club house to drop off your clubs there are people everywhere The process of getting checked in and your bags on carts is very slow

It’s chaos We waited on every tee box on both Moorland & Heathland and called our golf agent to move our last two days to Oyster Bay and Heritage which are much more normalThe food is great and golf package is cheap, but plan on waiting for everything

Erik Boyd

Played Moorland, Heathland and Parkland The courses are well layed out Parkland and Heathland were in much better shape than Moorland

These courses have amazing potential to be in perfect condition if players would repair their divots Tee boxes are great, greens are smooth and fast and the fairways are good The staff is friendly The included meals are good Well worth it

Absolutely amazing! Customer service was top notch Room was comfortable, very clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view with amazing wall sized windows Concierge, from desk associates, management, restaurant staff, and bartenders were all amazing

We felt very safe staying here as well due to how elevators and different floors are accessed Literally the only issue we had was that my husband’s side of the bed seemed to have something wrong with it 10/10 would recommend!

Carlos Campbell

Don’t forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a room This site will compare countless booking web sites and normally will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in the area

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few days you definitely won’t be disappointedOur room was clean and me and my husband enjoyed our stay at the hotel! Cameron was able to take really good care of us after learning we had such a bad experience at one of the oceanfront hotels We were treated to a wonderful breakfast So, we were very blessed to be able to stay there for the remainder of our honeymoon!

Belvin Christopher

Requested an ocean view room and got one in the 9th floor The room was pretty nice with 2 queen beds for a family of 4 Loved their beds and shower head

Beds were so comfortable and soothing Shower had enough pressure to massage your back after a tiring day House keeping and service were excellent as well The mini fridge in the room was in poor condition It was usable but looked old and not so clean Corridors smelled funny; mostly cigars and flavored smokes Parking lot was little lonely Overall the place is good and lives up to the expectations Worth the money

We booked this a couple months ago via Priceline, they had the best deal This Hampton/Hilton is AMAZING! Starting with the staff, you feel great the moment you check in I was treated to fresh baked cookies , so you know that also left a lasting impression

Everyone is outgoing and pleasantly enthusiastic The room is nice and very clean The entire hotel is also clean and fresh The free breakfast is delicious and also maintained by a couple EXCEPTIONAL ladies They keep it stocked and clean This is always such a nice treat If you don’t have time for breakfast, they also had some “happy kits” available on your exit, which were bagels kits in a bag ready to travelso sweet I would highly recommend this hotel!!!

Prime Risk

Located just outside the entrance to the Legends Golf Club, it is a great option if you want to fly in for a golfing weekend This is a very well maintained and staffed Hilton property that we will visit again The facility is well cleaned and the staff is super friendly with help on local attractions and the best places to eat

(A little hint, one of those locations shares the parking lot with the Hampton Inn) Located just off of the 501 highway, parking is free at this location and has easy access to every part of Myrtle Beach

Devon Johnson

Clean and nice presenting hotel, with friendly staff Rooms and very were clean and comfortable for the most part I stayed in room 222 , If you have trouble sleeping don’t sleep in the rooms on the back half next to the elevators

I heard them all night The finger details on the room, in the bathroom it was really bright which it should have been Very roomy with the toilet tucked in Around the sink needs to be recaulked with White caulk not clear and needs cleaning Theres lent and dirt around the clear caulk, and using white caulk will make the gaps look cleaner Wallpaper needs work, pealing away from corners and ceiling, and could use a refreshAfter a thorough discussion with our other room members, I got word that there were either bed bugs and or roaches We definitely won’t be coming back until this issue is resolved

Very nice place to stay View of ocean is second to none Only complaint about room is that master bedroom gets view of ocean while all other rooms have a view into the hallway!!! And there was not even a way to keep the shades securely closed

The amenities were very nice, the free miniature golf was a nice added in activity All in all worth it place to stay but might be worth booking multiple smaller rooms instead of one big suite Service was phenomenal, house keeping goes out of their way to make you feel at home in any way they can The valet parking was very nice especially really late at night

Renee Grove

We stayed here in June of 2022 and it was phenomenal We stayed in a 1 bedroom ocean front condo From the first contact with staff we felt like royalty

Staff were friendly and accommodating The condo was spotless and in an excellent location Beach access was great and the pools were perfect Included with our stay we had perks and freebies at local attractions The prices of rooms are high but absolutely worth it We will definitely be back

Carla Cordoves

Friendly staff and super quick check-in and check-out The hotel has a good layout and the one-bed apartment was spacious I payed for an oceanfront and the sight was beautiful in the sunrise

Only downsides were finding some Gillette’s (probably from the previous person who stayed) and the coffee machine wasn’t working The pools are on the Lobby floor and there’s a lazy river too Nice place to have your family over and spend a good time at the beach

Our condo

an honest review Good location overlooking the 9th green, sorta Clubhouse restaurant close by, with some good food But, it stops there Not even a full roll of toilet paper in either bathroom Living room TV was set to demo modeimpossible to enjoy anything and the edges were dark, leaving a strip about ⅓ down the middle viewable Two different coffee makers neither of which worked No filters or coffee supplied Ceiling fan needed a manual push to start Lighting in the main hallway was dim Carpet was fraying and well used Ill fitting fitted sheets Table lamps that didn’t work Oven did not heat to set temperature All in all, a place to sleep, and eat, not to enjoy oneself

Amanda Pope

My husband called and made reservations When we got to the address, come to find out, we had to go to another location to a lockbox to get our keys since we came after hours The lockbox did not have our keys

We pulled up the email my husband received and went to a different location You had to get out and look for the lockbox but we found it Our keys were in there but that’s when we realized that we were staying at Barefoot Resort instead of River Oaks My husband was told we were staying there We tried to get someone on the phone but since it was after hours, everything was closed We will be checking out in the morning and demand for a refund They tricked my husband into staying in a rundown out dated room Not very pleased with River Oaks or Barefoot Resort

Safiya Patterson

Loved the pool, loved the area Apartment was ok

but definitely not what we paid for We paid for a 2 bedroom w balcony We got a studio on bottom floor Notified them of the error & showed our receipt and still had to pay more to get the 2 bedroom w balcony King bed was 2 twins pushed together so if you sit a certain way it’ll come undone I don’t like the trick they played w the room price we ended up paying double

Hotel was clean, comfy and nice The staff was very friendly We flew in late so having a restaurant and little market on site was a huge plus

The kids enjoyed both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub Smaller size but not crowded Our only complaint, the pool needed to be cleaned a little more but didn’t bother our kids! We would stay again

Dominique

So far so good I saw a previous post about the decorative curtains not closing Don’t be alarmed there’s black out curtains

Another post mentioned expensive snacks but I personally think the prices of the snacks are reasonable and customary It’s about convenience The location is great It’s near the beach, the mall, and too many food spots to count

Jay Baker

In town for the Myrtle Beach marathon and decided to give this place a try Location was good located right near the mall Not close to the strip or Broadway at The Beach but not far either which is what we liked

Away from all of the hustle and bustle and wild crowds Windy at the front dusk was exceptional and very welcoming! Our room was clean and spacious and we really enjoyed our stay

This Hampton Inn must have been an older hotel that was refurbished as a Hampton inn ( can tell by the styling) The lobby rooms are nicely decorated with the seacoast in mind There are several rooms that you can sit and relax along with outdoor seating protected by the sun

The room is clean and the view from the balcony is exquisiteMost of all is a shout out to all the folks working at this Hampton Inn Everyone is so friendly and I especially want to thank Kelli, the guest service manager, who overheard me saying that I miss the fruit salad at breakfast ( guess Hampton inn stopped that) and then arranged to have a plate of cut up fresh fruit for me Fruit that they didn’t have at breakfastWas that not nice? I was thrilled and so appreciate the extra effort Kelli and folks made to make my stay specialI would highly recommend this Hampton Inn for Myrtle Beach and if I come down again, will plan to stay hereSincerely,Cindy

NateD

Awesome clean hotel room Front desk staff was super friendly and nice I wish I researched that the hotel didn’t have a restaurant before I booked

The hotel shuttle is great and the drivers were awesome! However they only take you in a 3 mile radius I wish I knew restaurants were a bit further Definitely not a fault of the hotel! We ubered to Broadway at the beach and had a good experience there Airport was super close by I thought we could have walked to the Boardwalk but just didn’t feel “safe” Again the shuttle takes you there with no problems Overall a fun quick get away but not sure we will be back Breakfast was a great addition to our stay!!!!

Barbara Stump

Pros: Great location right on the beach with all rooms overlooking the ocean The view from the balcony was stunning This hotel is close to lots of things, including restaurants and shopping

Never felt like the beach area was crowded, even though the hotel was busy Free covered parking Loved that there were enough beds for all 5 of us and they were actually comfortable Full closets in bedrooms Bathroom had both a full tub and a stand-up shower The full kitchen and big table were nice The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful We got early check-in with no issuesCons: Lots of noise from people playing loud music at all hours of the day and night The pools were in constant use and looked pretty gross Room was kind of outdated with old fixtures, carpet, etc Long lines/waits at the elevator Breakfast was mostly the same every day – would have preferred more healthy options than just apples and bananas

I was pleasantly surprised, nice enough room We stayed in the Sailfish Building in an oceanfront suite It was smaller than I expected but after reading some reviews I was concerned

I was pleased with the room It seemed to have been updated No stains New bathroom, very clean Balcony was small, but big enough fir 3 of us The beds were comfortable The bldg had one elevator but no issues waiting The parking g was a little tight in the garage, but I mostly parked in another area Breakfast was buffet and great I would come back

Charleen Klecak

Stayed the first week of August Originally I had no idea that my group was staying at the Dunes, which if I would’ve known we wouldn’t of paid so much to stay there I figured we were staying in a hotel, not motel feeling

It was too late to cancel when I realized, so we bit the bullet and kept the reservationUpon arriving, guest service was great! We got our room quickly and had our keys attached as a bracelet! Which, was awesome!! The pool for the Dunes is small, but not as crowded as the other pools The other pools at the resort, we’re super small and crowded Which, expected but being such a small area figured the pool would be a bit biggerNo free breakfast, which I would’ve loved Considering the price of the room Housekeeping was great, they would knock every morning and they were very prompt with delivering towelsThe room itself was okay The lighting was bad, the bathroom had no vents, and the bed itself was a bit uncomfortable Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again for the price but it was tolerable

Katie Vanderhoek

I’m giving this an okay stay … with the price of the room we were expecting a nicer looking room For our 5 night stay we did not get any service except for one day which they only gave us towels and took out the trash With two kids eating in the room it got very dirty

The carpet was super old and wrinkly Then the couches and chairs were very old and dirty The sheets were clean, so that was the good part Not to mention if you are cooking the smoke alarm will go off The good parts were the pools but got very dirty at the end of day They did clean the pools every morning And The staff was friendly We just wanted cleaner updated room with the price we were paying Recommend looking someplace else that cares more about their property

This hotel was amazing! My all time favorite and by far the best Hilton in Myrtle Beach The staff was super helpful and nice upon arrival The valet was awesome (it did cost extra money per day)

The rooms were SO clean and spacious The bathroom was huge Our bedroom had a king which was so comfortable Also great to have laundry in the roomThe amenities were open odd hours because we stayed off season but I would definitely stay here again In fact, we tried to book another week and it was already sold out so make your plans early!

One of the BEST hotels to stay at Enjoyed my birthday trip so much with my family of five in the 2 bedroom suite ocean view It accommodated all of us very comfortably

Appreciated having every appliance in the kitchen you can think of, and loved how high tech and current the hotel looked Every staff member from every department was AMAZING Cleanliness was up to par Highly recommend!

Jarret Wright

My family & I had a great time here The pools are nice and there’s direct beach access It seemed very secure with card access to doors, gates, & even elevators

My kids enjoyed the smart elevators even more than tradition buttons They also enjoyed several free activities through the rec program Rosie and the other people running those were awesome! “The Marketplace” goes way beyond a typical gift/convenience shop with lots of groceries, beer, wine, & a Starbucks The kitchen appliances & washer/dryer were nice modern models Dinner at the restaurant on Pier 14 a short walk down the beach (or boardwalk) was fantastic The photo across the water is from the pier & the restaurant is shown on the left Please excuse the mess It’s from 4 adults & 2 kids staying in our suite for several days before I remembered to take the pictures, not the way we arrived to it The views are from floor 26

Rooms were super clean!! Loved that!! Right across the street from broadway at the beach and down the street from the Hollywood wax museum and helicopter rides Restaurant was great, chicken wings on point! There are renovations going on outside but no biggie, the inside of hotel was exceptionally clean which I appreciated, however I did see a small brown bug in the bathroom one morning, immediately killed it, and was on the lookout the rest of the trip (hence the 4 star rating) front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful Outdoor pool was great and clean as well

Would definitely stay here again, hopefully we won’t see any bugs during our next stay!

Here for a wedding weekend trip, so not a long stay This hotel was good but not great Exterior renovations going on and there’s no mention of this on the website or in an email when you book a stay

I’ll start with the good: rooms were very clean and spacious with a sofa couch Bathroom small but clean as well Definitely up to Marriott standards I wish the AC worked a bit better but overall, the room was greatTo the not-so-good: First is the price I should’ve just paid a little bit more & stayed oceanfront The on-site Starbucks tasted nothing like a regular Starbucks but charged the same price As a Marriott Bonvoy cardholder I stayed in NYC a week ago & they got me in a room at 8:30 am on my check in date Showed up here around 2pm & was told our room wasn’t ready yet Check in supposedly at 3 pm so not a huge deal, but stuff like that gets you 5 stars in my book It was a good place to stay for a couple of nights but I wouldn’t want to spend an actual vacation at this location

My hubby booked through Marriott Bonvoy for a 2night stay We were definitely surprised to see the renovations and limited parking I was not pleased with no mention of it so I asked to see the room first and glad I did! The rooms are not worth premium price, the elevator was broken, and the pool looked dirty and small

We quickly cancelled our reservation and found a much better ocean front Resort for roughly the same price! We did try to stay with Marriott but the manager said he was completely booked and didn’t even bother searching for another location Oh well there loss not mine

I can’t even describe what a fabulous time my family and I had at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club We walked in and were pleasantly surprised at how large our three bedroom suite was The rooms were nicely sized and the bathrooms were great

One bathroom was handicapped accessible The kitchen was well stocked and I liked that there was a washer and dryer The view from our 8th floor room was amazing, and we could feel the breeze from the ocean The second floor featured a nice sized gym, a store, place to get free DVDs and more The indoor and outdoor pools were nice and they gave you towels to use The spa was wonderful and well heated The staff were constantly seen cleaning and disinfecting during our 4 day stayA few things could have been better, but not enough to take off any stars We were never asked if we needed more towels, one of our curtains wouldn’t open electronically, and some of the outlets didn’t work However, we can’t wait until our next stay!

Amazing clean resort with spacious rooms and great views We stayed at a 1 bedroom suite at 23rd floor and the view was to die for The pull out sofa bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever been on

The kitchen was well stocked The customer service and room service was quick Being at the beach directly is a bonus Plus the add on for outdoor activities included is money saving – includes the myrtle waves water park amd mini golf Highly recommend!

Hotel was very clean for the most part We did find someone’s left over personal items in the main bedroom nightstand and the kitchen cupboards and handles with sticky and gooey The unit is very spacious and has everything you need

The valet employees were so incredibly friendly and made coming back to hotel fun! Front desk staff was nice enough however not as helpful as other places we’ve stayed, very brief and almost stand offish at times A major complaint for us was the pool temps, not so much the outdoor but the covered outdoor was still cool for the season, to the point kids end up in the hot tub as to warm up I think a higher temp in April and cool seasons would be great as there is no indoor pool There could be less of a push in their time share presentations, with limited time visiting the area not everyone has time to go to one Although a few things we weren’t happy about it didn’t ruin our trip and we would recommend the hotel to people travelling in the area the views in the ocean front room were fantastic

There was something for everyone in my family The kids loved the indoor pool and water park area My husband said that the food he ordered from the restaurant was tasty

The beach access was great I appreciated the spacious rooms and the convenience of the fridge, microwave, dishwasher and mini stoveThe mini driveway for valet was always tight It was easier for us to park across the street at the parking garage

Renee Harrison

Friendly staff, large comfortable & clean room, great ocean view Elevators slow during peak of checkout & need to be synced more efficiently Water park a hit with kids

Rooms are not cleaned unless stay is 5+ days; have to request & pick-up clean towels @ desk I fully understand during covid, but if a guest requests a daily cleaning, especially if Honors member, the service should be provided A touch more of a deep cleaning & attention to details would have scored a 5

Homewood Suites was great, and we would stay there again The location and amenities could not be beat My husband and I and our 5 and 7 year old boys had a blast

2 water slides, a lazy river, 3 hot tubs and a pool made up the water park, and beach access was so close! The complimentary breakfast was delicious Our king suite was spacious and comfortable The only things I would change would be to add a dresser in the king bed part of the room (there were was one where our boys slept on the sleeper sofa, but not by our bed) and to put up shower doors instead of a curtain in the bathroom More places to hang swimsuits to dry would’ve been nice also Everything else was exceptional
