Kimberly the manager was phenomenal to my whole entire family!!! We were traveling from Florida & I called her few days before our arrival to see if they can accommodate a few things for us and she made sure everything went as smooth as it can be It’s very rarely that you’ll come across genuine people like Kimberly I would recommend this hotel if your traveling to Stone Mountain it’s very clean they serve hot breakfast every morning & all the other staff are nice!!! Kimberly if your reading this thank you very much for everything and I will sure visit again when I’m in Georgia

Nice, clean, comfortable; however, I didn’t like the roll in shower or the pillows I got a headache from sleeping on them Close to eateries

The room has a college refrigerator, and a microwave is very handy The price for the room was a little high, and the money they held on my credit card was high and unexpected Also, the amount of time that they hold it for is not reasonable 5 to 7 business days way too long!!!

Let me start off by saying that I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! This hotel is definitely not equipped correctly I stayed here for business and they didn’t make my stay very pleasant The housekeeping people are VERY LAZY

They like to snoop around your room but hesitant to clean the room, change linen and clean the bathroom with fresh towels I had my whole family with me during this visit so I would expect for the hotel to be top notch Some days that we did get towels they either were dirty or had hair on them The pillows had these blue stains that housekeeping allowed to stay on our beds We practically had to beg them to clean our room The whole entire staff is very unprofessional and rude especially the General manager ALTON! This young man is VERY DISRESPECTFUL! This man wanted to charge us $250 for a blanket that was in The babies crib because it had a stain on it They assumed it was a permanent marker which in fact it was a orange that our daughter was eating We got the orange out of their lobby where they serve breakfast Instead of asking us about the blanket they automatically tried to charge the card I know for a fact any type of food will come out of a blanket Instead of ALTON talking to someone in a professional manner he choose to be very rude and disrespectful I will never waste my money and my time ever again at this establishment If you know like I know please run far away from here I definitely learned my lesson and I will take my business and money to a better loyal hotel that treat their guest like they are supposed to be treated

The staff here are all wonderful, friendly, helpful and nice/sincere! In fact, I would rate the staff here higher than any hotel I ever stayed at (and I travel a lot and to some swanky places once in awhile) Marsha, Jada, Ranford, Lewis and an amazing chef Latoya, all left lasting positive memories for me! Really, they may as well all have been trained at a 5 star hotel Whatever is making the culture of the staff here service at this level, please keep it up and share with all your hotels! Menu was limited, but the breakfasts and dinner I had here were just fantastic!

Jessica Krueger

Very friendly staff , amazing rooms, the pool felt great in 101 degree weather There was no hot tub however it was filled in But the room bedding and towels and toiletries were very nice and clean

The TV was very nicely accommodating for use of streaming services and check out was noon which was amazing in it’s self I can’t wait to go back

Hydress Clark

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Lithonia, Georgia(East Atlanta)the first weekend of June I must say my stay was absolutely wonderful the room was nice and clean the staff was so pleasant and helpful The restaurant inside staff was just as pleasant as the front desk staff

I couldn’t believe the prices there With everything being so high the cost was comfortable I do recommend this place for vacationing

TL;DR: HIGHLY recommend for large group events in Decatur!ACCOMMODATIONS & SERVICEThis hotel and staff were EXCELLENT Comfortable and stylish rooms, and staff were very helpful to address any questions or needs We were there for my sister’s wedding and they accommodated the whole family

It has such a comfortable feel with gathering spaces for everyone, large parties or small groups Some rooms have windows overlooking the central community area which I liked, but if that’s not your thing and you want more quiet you may want to request an externally facing room The pool and the gym were also quite nice, and the cafe serves Starbucks beverages which was a nice morning treatPARKING & LOCATIONThere’s ample parking also It’s super close to lots of shops, restaurants, and things to do which was really nice for everyone who was in town We stayed busy and no one had to drive anywhere Also really close to MARTA

Keki B

The accommodations were nice and clean You can tell they take cleanliness very seriously, which is greatly appreciated The room itself was decent

Sort of modern, however, the bed was firm and comfy I did love the hardwood floors That was a very nice touch Overall, I enjoyed my overnight stay The $10 parking though, I didn’t love Haha

Tyler Schimmel

Our van broke down on the highway so we had to book a room quickly for the night The customer service was great! When we arrived we were greeted with water and a quick room upgrade I do not remember the mans name, but he was very accommodating

Their service to our room was fast when we asked for anything extra and our room was very clean Although we did not plan on staying here, I would highly recommend it I

Clean and spacious rooms, wonderful views and continental breakfast Needs a bit of updating but has the old classic feel that the park is supposed to give off Staff was helpful and very friendly

You do have to pay $20 to get into the park and you still have to pay to do all the other things in the park such as the laser show and other activities

Rhina Castillo

I’m giving 5 stars based on location (right across the street from the light show, water play and dinotaurium), cleanliness, value for price and service The building is dated, but it’s comfortable and had a nice sized pool We were traveling with two small children ages 3

5 and 5 so this place was ideal as we did not spend much time in our room The room is huge with a large bathroom and living area which allowed enough room for them to get their energy out Property is surrounded by beautiful lawn and scenery My husband took a relaxing morning run All in all, it fit everybody in the family’s needs

Kim Hubbard

To start with my room was nasty, the bathroom looked someone had been mud wrestling in the tub and the ceiling had a hole above the shower head After being moved to another room, we had no towels and it took about an hour to get enough for two people and there were three of us Then later that night we had to call the maintains person to come and plunge the toilet

Most of the staff acted like they had no ideal what to do in any situation Would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Maggie CR

The hotel is average, nice staff The cleanliness of our room was very impressive I grabbed a few disinfecting wipes at the reception (nice touch!) with the intention of sanitizing all the surfaces we were going to be touching for sure in our room

To my surprise the wipes barely got dirty, there was not even dust there!!! I could see they take seriously the sanitation during this pandemicNobody will be cleaning your room during your stay so if you need extra towels or something else, you need to ask for it at the front desk Breakfast is not included and costs over $14 per person, you can find better options at the local restaurants5 stars is for the excellent cleaning protocol they are obviously following

Ashanti Crawford

I largely enjoyed my stay at this hotel The front desk receptionists were phenomenal in how friendly and welcoming they were The hotel is generally very clean and they had a very good gym on-site

I love the digital key availability and my room was comfortable, clean, and cozy My only complaint was that there is not any sound proofing and you can hear every single person talking in the hallway and slamming doors and dropping things above you I wasn’t able to get great sleep, solely due to the other guests If you’re sensitive to noise (which I’m actually not, but if feels like the sound was amplified), maybe consider bringing ear plugs Otherwise, the location was great as there is a decent restaurant/bar attached, a Target, Best Buy, and mall nearby I would stay at this hotel again PS – they do have their signature chocolate chip cookie but you specifically have to ask the receptionist for it It won’t be visually apparent when you are at the front desk

AJ Kheyr

Very happy with some of the staff and how friendly they are but the manager didn’t acknowledge that the alarms going off all night due to marijuana smoking was an issue that deserved complimentary stays or future discounts That’s totally unacceptable Free breakfast isn’t very compensatory

People had plans the next day which were completely ruined After long hours of travel, guests have the expectation of a quiet night for comfort and rest when they pay to stay a a reputable hotel chain My wife and I are both have career experience in the travel industry This is unacceptable from a chain of this stature First, we were told the alarm was going off due to a storm which was not even severe, it was very light rain Secondly, we were told it was due to maintenance related issues I don’t feel this is very honest We left our rooms and smelled nothing but marijuana in the hallways Housekeeping had the doors open and we smelled it everywhere in the hallways Please be honest and forthcoming with more acceptable offers and a compatible reimbursement for these awful circumstances Our toilet was also dirty upon arrival Something should be done

Stayed for first time to move in daughter to Emory Hotel overall was nice buy not affiliated with any loyalty programs Room and bathroom was clean and updated

One negative was very low water pressure for showers This hotel apparently does not clean rooms day to day Tried to call down to get some toiletries refreshed and got attitude from front desk staff Has nice restaurant and bar inside hotel Parking was clean and safe under hotel Likely not going to return to this hotel on future visits to Emory due to poor staff service and lack of any loyalty program

Visited Emory U This hotel does a very nice job! Loved having 2 beds, would have loved 2 queens more Great location and easy parking

Campus shuttle service avail Breakfast buffet was nice Hotel is upgrading Our original room in the South wing was right in the middle of the construction Dust was everywhere and 1 elevator is exclusive for construction The conjoining door in our 1st room would not close When I told management they moved us to the main building The remodel/ update is very nice and will be great when completed

This was a very interesting experience – but in a good way I booked a room after not really reading much about the location itself It’s not a hotel, it’s a bed and breakfast which surprised me

There aren’t many rooms but we didn’t have any issues with parking or getting checked in The building itself is old but very clearly maintained and cleaned I booked a room with the jacuzzi tub in the room The tub is barely large enough for two people of medium size More than enough room for one person The customer service was also excellent When I mentioned a pork allergy during breakfast, we received a chicken patty instead of sausage The rest of the breakfast was really good too The location can’t be beat either, so close to Stone Mountain Definitely would go back

Sylvia Spurling

Beautiful property with an excellent host The rooms are luxurious and impeccably clean The host, Christian, is warm and welcoming, and very helpful with recommendations

The shower is great, breakfast was delicious We would certainly recommend One of the nicest B & B’s we’ve ever experienced Big plus is a great German restaurant in walking distance

Joy Kello

This Bed and Breakfast was delightful! Large rooms, very clean, excellent breakfast, homey, and amazing customer service! Cristian and Adam were kind and caring hosts! From precheck-in to check- out they went above and beyond! The location is great with plenty of great places to eat within walking distance! Loved this stay and if we are in the area again we will definitely be staying again!

From now on I will go with my gut My husband booked this hotel and I feel like I’m in a motel Room was dirty so I cleaned it

( something that I do anyway) Room is small there is NOT a real closet It’s more like a curtain pulled over a rod The air isn’t working so I had to go get a fan I didn’t change rooms because I will have to re-clean and I used it all cleaning this mess Front desk both at check in and night shift were very niceMy husband booked through Reservations and brought up my concerns about some reviews and the lady said people lie so they can get a refund They’re NOT lying this place is trash Even the trash cans aren’t clean NEVER will I stay at a Hampton Inn againWe ended up leaving the next day and found another hotel

Taylor Brie

My first experience as a Hilton Honors member was no honor at all, in fact it was deplorable We checked into the Hampton Inn Northlake and immediately smelled a rank odor We initially wrote it off as possibly just the smell of an older building, disinfected our room, and tried to carry on

The bed linen had minor stains on the blankets, the door to the room wouldn’t open unless you jimmied the handle We got in late and we woke up with extremely stuffy sinuses and malaise that we couldn’t quite explain I went to the restroom and that’s when I noticed the room was infested with black mold The shower ceiling had black mold, the wall behind the decorative ottoman had black mold, and the wooden cabinet that stored the refrigerator also had black mold There is absolutely no way the hotel staff didn’t know that the room was an unsatisfactory health hazard and the fact that they even booked the room shows a lack of care for the “honorable” customers and financial greed The manager Bongo, was kind enough to compensate our second night stay but had no available rooms to move us to We also learned that the room above us also had an issue with black mold after we brought these findings to their attention We felt uncomfortable returning to stay and booked elsewhere at the last minute Unfortunately, I can’t upload the video I took of the loose bathroom sink fixtures and the mold on the ceilings

Rkaye Thomas

Room was dated but cleanCoffee machine in room was broken

Pool wasn’t cleaned but advertising that it’s open all yearBeef was extremely comfy and the building was very quietBreakfast was only cold foodslolI found that most hotels that advertise free breakfast are now using covid as an excuse to serve only cereal and milk

A pretty new hotel that didn’t disappoint Very clean, comfy beds & pillows Conveniently located on a major highway without the highway noise

The curbside appeal of the hotel was very appealing I like the color schemeStaff was very friendly and answered all my questions The indoor pool was small, but a great way to cool offI’ll definitely stay here again if the need arises Prices not bad considering the amenities

January 2022My daughter was attending an event at a nearby baptist church, so using the event’s recommended hotel listing, we hunted for accommodationsLa Quinta came up as one of the closest to the location, as well as on the lower range of pricesMy husband & I are old enough to get a Senior Rate so there was a bit more savings there

My husband said to go ahead and prepay – which knocked off a few more dollarsWe reserved a NON SMOKING 2 Queen Beds, and paid $25613 (21590 for 2 nights, plus 4023 taxes and fees)Online reservation, booking, payment – easy peasyThe thing about the prepay is you are locked in – non cancelable – non refundable – no modificationsEasy to find location, adequate, well-lit parkingAll staff I interacted with were professional, friendly, and helpfulThe WIFI was greatThe beds were comfortable & cleanRoom temperature settings were adjustable and worked fineThe bathroom was satisfactory, plenty of clean linens, soap, etcPlenty of hot waterWe requested non-smokingI didn’t smell smoke in the roomBut in the hallways every time I went in & out I smelled smoke (I am an asthmatic so this is a significant health issue)The mini-fridge did not seem very coldThe mini-microwave worked finePlenty of outlets for charging all our devicesLighting was okayI liked the wall decor detail of framed photos of cotton, peaches, stone mountain, etc – items of local interest instead of generic hotel artBreakfast was satisfactory: choice of flat breakfast meat patty, scrambled eggs, biscuit, mini-muffins, waffles you make in their griddles – either the regular one waffle size or 4 mini waffle size (adorable!), mini-yogurt, cereals, milk, juice, coffee – there was more there that’s just all I rememberThe carpet in the room did not look so great I kept my socks on the whole time except when I was in the shower, or changing socksThe floor and matt in the elevator did not look cleanElevator worked fine

Our third and last stay at this location in 3 years At this price point breakfast was not included, water pressure was very low and room sofa sagged terribly Room/bed was clean & comfortable but the whole property was in need of maintenance/upgrade

Our room had peeling wallpaper and our hallway wing had sustained water damage Also as a “pet friendly” facility, there were no pet waste stations Staff was very courteous but did not make up for the above mentioned issues

Monica Curbeam

This is not a Hotel it’s an upgraded motel The lobby was nice Rooms not so nice

Musty dirty carpet Found hair in both beds Asked housekeeping to change bed, she put sheets on desk and expected me to change them Bathroom door had hole in it where they just plastered over it Saw 2 baby roaches on TV stand and 1 in Bathroo m Nasty hotel/motel

Joe Anderson

For a Courtyard by Marriott this location misses the mark by a long shot It is in very serious need of maintenance issues, cleaning issues and upgrades I walked in my room and it smelled musty

The locks on the doors are ancient and the bolt will come out if you do not fully engage the handle as you are leaving If you are not careful it will leave your door ajar while you are gone In thebathroom, there was mold/mildew under the rim The grout on the tile floor was “fixed” with chalk and quite poorly All the chalk in the bathroom was poorly done The outside of the tub was filthy!! The sleeper sofa has clearly seen better days It sagged seriously in the middle, enough that I could not sit on it comfortably They advertise and show the capability internet based television The connection is not completed for this service Finally, I walked out of my room in the evening to find a housekeeping/cleaning cart outside the door in the hallway No room was being cleaned nor did I see any staff member nearby I also saw some very serious remnants of water damage on the walls in the hallway I SERIOUSLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION

The room was a king bed with a sleeper sofa Room look good until we put are stuff down My son and wife sat on the sofa and it was wet

I opened the sofa bed up and the urine smell was bad I got a instant headache The sofa bed had stains from the still wet pee that my family touch They did move us to another room but it only had one bed for three adult size people Very uncomfortable! So I Don’t recommend this place at all The room cost $28800 for one night during the Memorial day weekend Saturday we check in left Sunday morning but still had to pay full price for the room WHAT! Yes even after my family touch urine Because the manager would not be available until Tuesday that’s what the staff told me So I contacted the manager and she said that she would take 20 percent off of the $28800 bill Really after my family touch someone else wet urine Not acceptable the night should have been free Really I DON’T recommend this place at all Check my you tube page out for video

Great personnel and nice rooms: tidy and clean The breakfast is included and rich of many options Every day a different hot meal is served, including fruits, yogurt, cereals, juices, waffles and the beloved as well as necessary coffee

Basically it is very hard not to find what you want Plenty of parking spacesThe only reason I could not make it 5 star is because of the music at the entrance of the building I was in a room on top of it and it was continous and annoying until late night and starting from very early in the morning Even though people might be pleased to walk in accompanied by some great music, it really can be heard (especially the basses) all night long If I had to stay longer I would have asked to change room Make sure you don’t pick any room close to the main entrance!Everything else was perfect

Mimi E

I would not recommend this hotel, especially while it is being remodeled It is a mess! Dust is everywhere The parking lot is full of materials and machines

Watch your tires! The workers began working and moving things around at 7:00AM Two of our pillow cases were NASTY! They had something GROSS on them We notified the desk attendant of our nasty pillow cases She walked with us to the room and was appalled too She took pics and notified the manager Hampton Inn you’re much better than this!!!!!

What a lovely resort, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The location is incomparable, the view of the lake, Stone Mountain in the distance, and a pool deck that overlooks the lake view, it was really lovely! I came from Savannah to Stone Mountain to enjoy a weekend of hiking and biking If you are an outdoorsman, this resort has everything to enjoy in nature! The staff who checked me in were kind and attentive, especially Alex, who handled my check in and processing Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was very nice, Frey was an absolute darling, and very attentive to her guests

I look forward to staying here again Rooms were very clean and well kept, and the hotel, while a little dated, is well kept, organized and clean as well

Beautiful Hotel, severely understaffed For a resort be prepared to find your own dolly and cart your own luggage When I say find your own dolly, I mean search the entire resort and floors

That staff was friendly, just overwhelmed The only time it seemed as a resort was when there was a convention Despite this, the breathtaking mountains and scenery made up for this The restaurants were pricey but good and also understaffed The pools were great and both hot tubs were nice I enjoyed my stay and would return

I loved mostly everything about my trip to Atlanta Evergreen My room was very nice, however the balcony was dirty The view from the balcony was awesome

The lake and the people on the lake and the sounds of the animals were relaxing On a sour note, an article of clothing was stolen from my room I must add on a positive note the food was excellent! I will revisit👍

The room was clean Unfortunately the TV was not working and was unable to be repaired by maintenance We ended up having to move into another room

Guest service staff was apologetic and upgraded our room In fact, the majority of staff were friendly and professional On the other hand, breakfast was less than mediocre (ALL packaged) and heavily guarded by unwelcoming kitchen staff…hubby says a person watched him closely while he perused the packaged selections! We get it IF it’s Pandemic related as we’re STILL wearing mask…a smile (if unmasked)and a kind word goes a long way!

We traveled from Miami driving 10 hours When we checked in at 6 am we were greeted by a nice friendly security but boy did that change when we went into the property the front desk host who identified himself as “Jamal” was so nasty and blunt No smiles, no greeting or nothing

(Brace yourself it gets worst) So we check in everything is going good we get up start our day about 12 noon We returned to the hotel 10pm that night with pizza for the kids( we were celebrating my niece 8th birthday) once we were in the room serving the pizza to the kids we noticed a small roach (it was one we were goin to ignore it but then 2 mins later the kids noticed a big roach I take pictures and head to the front desk because this is unacceptable it’s 11:30 pm, there I am approached by Jamal who looks me in my face and say “ do you want two studios or not because there is nothing I can do “ I explained that we were not looking to be separated because we were woman traveling with kids all girls He just stared at me with a (idagf look) I then proceeded to walk out the door and said “you have a handsome man attitude) he reasoned With a nasty remark I walk out and went to the door near the elevator and noticed I didn’t have a key to get in, I returned to the front desk to ask for a key to get in when I approached the front desk I was greeted by Jamal again and I ask can you open the door I left the key upstairs he replied “just wait security coming” I replied for what he said you’ll see I then exited the facility and called upstairs for someone to open the door once upstairs after 15 minutes there was a knock on the door Jamal the front desk receptionist called the police on us because he didn’t like that we complained of the room having roaches 🪳 The police on two woman with kids who had not cause a scene, was not disorderly, but was uncomfortable The police told us he didn’t have to have a reason to want us gone it was his right( that’s so untrue) I feel like we we discriminated against DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY‼️

We chose this location because it was 1/2 way to our final vacation spot We stayed one night in a pet friendly room with our kids and our small dog

it was really clean, didn’t have a pet smell and the beds were comfy Breakfast was delicious and there was a variety to choose from! The lady that checked us in was very nice and friendly If we are ever in the area, we’ll stay again!

3 months ago, Christmas, I said it was great I’m not sure what happened this visit I even bragged to my daughter who also stayed during this visit as wellI select it because it’s pet friendly and includes a good breakfast

The coffee each time I checked was cold (Ugh! If you’re a “morning must have my coffee person”)So we went out for breakfast since the eggs were also gone too Probably were refilled but we waited and left The breads were stale including 2 bagels that were left which clearly HAD MOLD!!!!We asked for extra towels and since we left the do not disturb they were left on the floor of the room It’s understandable that they were left out but why would I use towels on my body that were left on the floor?! Maybe inside a bag would be a suggestion I’d like to makeThe price was about $139 but I had a deal for $129 I guess these days that’s the going rate for an inn?The fridge in the room doesn’t closeAnyways maybe it was just bad timing and things happen That’s my experience so far

5 We chose this one because we are Hilton members I give it 5 and I am picky!! 🤣 Thanks Jaleia and Yolanda at front desk who does everything and is precise about it
