I have never experienced a more relaxing hotel stay Effortless access to vehicle front entrance for check-in and rear parking lot Clean room was expertly laid out and very quiet

Comfortable bed and pillows with extra bedding The window could be opened slightly for a little fresh air Coffee was still available at the front desk at noon No microwave, however 30-second walk to The Depot for a concert 10-minute walk to various eateries I will return!

Glenn Fallucca

Hyatt is always a solid hotel choice Good central location Everybody working there was friendly and helpful

The hotel was packed with players from a rugby tournament so that was a fun atmosphereTook off one star for no coffee at breakfast and the bananas were very green When exactly would these be ready to eat?Took off the other star for the ellipticals not working, the ice machine on floor 5 being broken, and the ice machine on floor 3 being out of ice

Aaron Warren

When we checked in the lady at the front desk was real friendly The majority of the staff weren’t The room was clean and updated

Pool and hot tub were kept clean Work out room was about average Breakfast was ok, they seemed to struggle keeping up with the demand of the hotel guests The hotel was within walking distance of shopping centers, restaurants, splash pad, museums, convention center, mall

Although I had read some negative reviews prior to staying here, my wife and I enjoyed our stay and we’re happy with the hotel We were on the first leg of a 3 state anniversary trip and upon arrival we were told we were upgraded to a tower room at no extra charge The room was VERY large and well equipped, a definite upgrade to what I had booked

Older decor throughout the hotel but well done and a change from what we usually stay in when traveling Just a couple of minor suggestions: provide glasses for beverages, only paper coffee cups were available Also, our room had a spacious balcony with a great view of the city but their are no chairs to sit and enjoy it?

I used to work here so I sometimes use my benefits to get a room for a day or two with my children as a short getaway Always a great experience and the coffee shop has some of the best soups and salads I’ve ever had We also had the brunch buffet a couple of times and loved it because of the variety they offer

There’s also a gift shop, a lounge coffee bar and indoor/ outdoor swimming pools We usually stay at a tower room but one time we stayed at a garden room and it was beautiful too I highly recommend Little America for your next hotel stay in Salt Lake City

Lisha Redford

I chose this hotel for my one year wedding anniversary with my husband Where the main desk is to check in, is beautiful, but the rooms are a completely different story There were stains all over the floor, the walls were dirty, the heating/air system was dysfunctional, the heating vents were hanging halfway out of the walls, the wallpaper was coming off in certain places

Absolutely no effort to clean this room before we checked in, or keeping up on the maintenance of the room I went to sit in a chair to do my hair and there was a huge red stain on the chair We ended up leaving and not even staying the night If I could give a negative review I would The $100 deposit is absolutely ridiculous, I would expect that amount from a nice hotel but this was disgusting Very disappointed

I’ve only stayed at this hotel when I traveled to Salt Lake City It’s located right across the street from the convention center and a short walk from a bunch of restaurants The other added bonus is that it is connected to the City Creek Mall

The staff here is extremely friendly and very helpful The rooms themselves are pretty nice The shower looks like it was updated since the last time I was there Amenities are great and you also get a mini fridge in your room The wait for elevators isn’t too bad, even when it seems like the hotel is that capacity They have pretty good size tables in a lobby so you can eat a meal down there if you would likeThey also have Starbucks on site, with mobile ordering so it’s great to just order your coffee and take an elevator ride down to pick it upOverall a great hotel that is located pretty centrally from everything!

Tyler Southard

This hotel is in a perfect location Once you arrive, you have two options for parking on the premises: valet or the parking garage I chose the parking garage and it was $20 for 24 hours

The check in process was very prompt and I was in my room with the city view in no time The room is a bit tight, but once you get settled in you will be comfortable The beds were very comfortable along with a wonderful set of pillows The bathroom was also a bit cramped Everything in the room was spotless! Overall, the stay was very pleasant

Max Alexander

Bottom line: Platinum, Titanium, Ambassador Members beware if you have long standard amenity expectations The lounge remains closed, no real reason for that, at this point except they are being cheap Also hotel management has just recently removed hot breakfast as a standard amenity, I hope you like a bowl of cold cereal or other starches you can have that for free with your “Continental Breakfast”

If you want a single slice of bacon or basically anything hot, it is an extra $7 per person None of the staff I spoke with support the policy and I would say the staff were absolutely great The room was clean, the bed was comfortable , and the view was great Parking is $20 no matter what your status is So, for those of you who care about long standard amenities which you have come to expect, carefully evaluate your choices when booking this hotel in Salt Lake, there are lots of other places just around the block I’ll be back when management gets their stuff together Again the rest of the staff was absolutely great

Location of hotel was great I chose this hotel based off the lovely looking gardens and since I would have kids with me, I also chose for the pool I prepaid online and upon check in hotel staff requested that I pay

When I said I had paid online already they then cancelled Still paid the additional $40 deposit for incidentals Not the worst thing in the world, but if someone prepays, why is it not noted in their system upon checking in? The room was adequate Room smelled of carpet cleaner Sheets, blanket and pillows were clean I had an adjoining room, unfortunately The person in the other room used his phone on speaker and was yelling into his phone from 3-5AM I also could see light coming into our room from his room through the bottom of the door Walls are extremely thin and you can hear everyone around us Breakfast was not as advertised and was basically any generic continental breakfast so don’t rely on the photos Photos are extremely misleading on their site We checked in at 3pm and while walking to our room we saw garbage in the hallway At 10am the next morning there was still the same garbage outside peoples doors in the hallway Keys for the rooms had to be inserted many times for them to work All in all, for the price I paid, I will not be coming back There are superior hotels in the area within the same price range

Daphne Elizabeth

Come here if you never wanna be able to get into your room We payed for 5 nights here and every single day, the key cards would not work EVERY day we had to go to the front desk and wait a long time for someone to show up and just tell us again that the cards “demagnetized” WHICH HAS NEVER HAPPENED ANYWHERE ELSE

We have had to get new cards 1-2 times per day every single day we stayed One of the nights we had to stay at the front desk for at least 6-7 minutes with NO ONE anywhere to help us Also there’s DEAD BUGS in the curtains The pull out couch is extremely uncomfortable and feels like laying on metal The toilet paper rolls are so close to the side of the toilet that they push on your legs while you sit Anyone who is not extremely skinny has to take the toilet paper off the holder to even sit comfortably on the toilet Also the breakfast selection is pretty small Also the hotel is right in the middle of a weird field area with homeless camps all around it

Christina Becerra

Clean rooms and amenities, friendly staff Just don’t leave any cash or valuables in your room Cash was taken out of my room while I was away

And later, housekeeping attempted to access my room while I was inside and had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door In response, management advised me to notify the police then stopped responding to my emails Very disappointing I would not recommend this location to anyone hoping for peace of mind while away from their room

Jim Tinlin

Stayed here 4 nights and was very happy with the facility Rooms are good sized and everything is kept very clean There is an Enterprise car rental location on the next block if you want to do some exploring and you didn’t drive in

Morning breakfast has a very good selection of itemsA free airport shuttle is available, just call the hotel and they will pick you up within about 30 minutes A number of good restaurants are within walking distance

The hotel is beautiful and the location is great The room was very clean and everything including linens and towels were a step up from the standard hotel Unfortunately, we had to wait almost an hour for our room upon check in, staff wasn’t apologetic

I had called reservations to extend a night, however the next day our keys were disabled Again, the front desk had no apologies They were not friendly, unlike the housekeeping staff And for some reason the restaurant was closed with the exception of breakfast Overall, nice but the front desk staff could be warmer and more accommodating

Eric Foster

Great experience Friendly staff, clean property Great bed

Overall great experience and would stay at again Only items that are minor on my radar Parking is actually easier if you use valet vs the parking garage next door Shower head wasn’t my favorite but water pressure and hot water was great Minor if I had to nit pick Would definitely stay at this Kimpton again

Jeanne Aldrich

From the minute we were checked in at the desk by Bonnie we were treated with friendliness, professionalism and respect The Hotel lobby is stunning, the services from Valet to restaurant were fabulous The room was beautiful, comfortable and with water and amenities that were nicer than any hotel we have stayed at

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of theaters, restaurants and is simply the best place to stay in Salt Lake We will always stay here Hopefully wine hour with again be available as we look forward to that being included in all the Kimpton that we stay at Don’t know why it isn’t here My friends blame it on the Mormon Church with seems to make sense and nonetheless did not detract from the lovely boutique atmosphere is this sweet 5 star hotel!

We were very impressed with the clean, minimalist, modern, open design of the hotel Rooms were ample size, natural bright light, and very comfortable Check-in and out were a breeze and Dalton the bartender was awesome, spending lots of time with us answering our silly questions about various spirits

We did not get a chance to sample the food Location was great, many restaurants and bars nearby, just a couple of blocks to Temple Square and 12 minutes drive to the airport On-site parking was very convenient and less costly than some city center hotels Will definitely return

Chad Steiner

What an amazing hotel We set up a company meeting here and everything was top notch!! From the interaction with the team to set it up right through to the end of our meeting The meeting room itself was spacious and quiet and had all the hook ups we needed

The bar and breakfast area were just right and the rooms are modern and feel brand new! We really enjoyed having our meeting here!!! Definitely will be the place we come back to for a meeting in Salt Lake!

Shymeia Lee

Whenever I stay at a hotel, I have my normal routine of cleaning any and everything that will be touched My hotel room was neat, clean and dust free The lobby was very inviting and warm and not to mention it smelled like a very well scented man everywhere…LoL

Not sure what candle or essential oil diffuser they’re using but it smelled divine Hospitality and service was top notch and the front desk concierge was very helpful whenever we needed assistance

We loved this place! From start to finish everything was perfect Our young girls (<10) fell in love with the hotel and staff Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and we are just a regular family

Decor was beautiful, classic but not ostentatious Room had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable and the view over the city towards the mountains as the sun set was incredible We ate at the Laurel – just amazing! They accommodated the kids and our allergies very well The food was excellent, and very reasonably priced Something for each of us – all empty plates and pleasantly full stomachs The girls especially loved the soup, and one really liked the salmon, the other the steak Our server was delightful! We had fun riding the bus and trains around town We took an easy 30 min bus ride to Mount Olympus, and ate at Rawtopia (highly recommend- very healthy organic & allergy friendly food and the kids ate all of it!) Had a nice walk around there tooThe hotel has two pools, so of course we had to try both The weather was a little cold for the first couple of days, so the indoor pool was the winner there Nice and warm, and not too busy On the warmer days the outdoor pool was lovely Plenty of loungers and attentive service The gentle piano or harp music in the lobby bar / restaurant in the evenings was a great way to soothe the girls The hotel was quiet at night so we all slept well Can’t really think of anything negative to say about it We all hope to be back soon; the girls still ask us to send their pictures to both the hotel and restaurant to say thank you!

Keelie Reason

This hotel was beautiful Chandeliers everywhere, an amazing flower court yard, multiple lounge areas

Simply beautiful You can pay $20 for them to do valet parking They really take care of you at the front This hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, bars, entertainment, and pretty much anything you want to do in Salt Lake city I attended a conference and they put together meals that looked amazing and gourmet The service was outstanding by everyone we met

Joanna P

High-end hotel with massive suite-style bedrooms, most of which have small balconies The bedrooms are decorated in quite a traditional style and look a little worn in places I stayed here for business but don’t think I would be willing to spend my own money as the nightly rate is very high for quite a dated hotel

The pool is a great size and has plenty of loungers The hotel bar also has a large drinks menu and great service Service at breakfast can be a little slow but the food was solid

I stayed here with my friend on a recent trip to SLC Jessica at the front desk was awesome She told us about some great restaurants and places to visit

She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of Isaiah was also great Very polite and helpful The hotel is clean and rooms are spacious Although you can hear the planes it is not too bad, they also provide ear plugs for those who are sensitive to sound All in all this hotel is great

Amy

Stayed here for an early morning flightI really liked that there was a drink bar and all the staff were very welcoming and niceThe room was spacious but I found other people’s hair on a lot of places in the room

There was even a hair on the coffee machine which is disgusting

Kelvan Adams

Delta put me here on a overnight layover due to a delayed flight I gotta say this is one on the nicest hotels I have stayed at (Better than the 5 star Marriott in downtown SLC, and the Hampton in downtown ogden)The night shift reception staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the bed was super soft

It can get a little noisy at night but that’s understandable being next to the airport All in all I love this place and wish I could have stayed longer The free airport shuttle was convenient too

Amazing service all around I stayed for three nights under a pseudonym, writing as a freelancer about some local issues that seem to be occurring across the nation The rooms were fabulous

I switched rooms on purpose, because I am writing for a different publication about hotels The room service, the concierge and all the amenities were astonishingly phenomenal The rates are very fair, considering what you’re getting In this day and age of “the virus,” I felt very safe at the Sheraton The staff were respectful, mindful and very thorough Whenever I left the hotel and asked for new towels and the room to be clean, it was usually done within a couple of hours There are plenty of amazing restaurants in the area, within walking distance As a hotel reviewer, I did the typical things, such as asking for a hygiene kit, a lightbulb to be switched out and other things of that nature Never did I have to wait more than 30 minutes for anything to get done or completed to my full satisfaction If I had a chance, I would gift this hotel at 10 star review⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Luz Franco

This is an old fashioned hotel but I don’t have any problem with that When I stay at a hotel the most important is that they are clean and the attention from the staff to the guestsEverything was good but they don’t have enough staff working at the hotel what do represent some inconveniences like when you arrive to the restaurant and you wait for more than 5 minutes for someone to take your order or offer you a drink and also that your food will take longer than what you expected when you are starving

to ask to the front desk for some help to bring you please a car for your luggage because the hotel has a large hall to take all your stuff from your room to the lobby and they don’t have anyone to do soThat’s what I decided to give just 3 starts

Steffany Turley

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here All of the staff was amazing, especially Cedric he made the check in process a breeze, he was personable and made sure we had the best experience The only complaint I have are the bed sheets, they are papery feeling and not cozy at all

Other than that everything was fantastic Will stay here again

I was very happy with my overall experience at this hotel Its very clean and modern The room is spacious and nicely furnished

They run a free airport shuttle which was awesome to have and the drivers couldn’t have been nicer! The hotel location was very convenient for exploring the city I either walked or took the light rail to every place I wanted to visit The hotel is a few short blocks to the closest light rail stop

We checked in for one night after a late flight The power went out, which meant we had no a/c in the summer or hot water, and a smoke alarm was beeping all night in the hallway I reported the alarm around 6:00 a

m since we didn’t arrive until after midnight and I didn’t want to wake my child Nothing was done to turn off the alarm At that time, I asked if we could have a discount since we were checking out later that morning, had no a/c, and couldn’t take a hot shower They wrote our room number down but said we probably wouldn’t get a discount since the power outage wasn’t their fault I called today to ask about a discount but was told we could only receive points I was also told that other people were offered breakfast but we never were (not at 6:00, not when we left for breakfast around 9:00, and not when we checked out, which was around 10:30) The manager apologized for my feelings but wouldn’t budge on a discount Paying $200 for a miserable night, in my opinion, is poor service, regardless of whose “fault” it is that the power went out

Andrew Gallo

AMAZING! Anthony and Sara made my work trip so awesome!!!!! My friend and I loved sitting downstairs and watching Friends every night for work We stayed for a few hours, but Anthony and Sara came to chat with us, bring us water, check in, etc and that was just amazing! The manager was so kind to us and the kitchen staff as well when we ordered anything

I know it’s post COVID and they might have been short staffed, but they were sooooo awesome! I will be back again soon and continue to be a Hilton supporter for life Thanks Anthony and Sara, you both were the BEST!

I called to ask if they accept dogs and if I could check in early The person on the phone said yes dogs with a fee and early check in also with a fee She asked how many dogs, I told her 2

I asked if they had any suites available and she priced one out for me and said would probably have a room ready in about 45 minutesAn hour later I showed up to the hotel and was informed no rooms available yet Cool, must be running a bit behind, not a big deal After half an hour I went back to the desk and asked again and was told no rooms available I told the staff member that on the phone they had said it would probably be around 45 minutes and that was 15 hours agoSomeone I presume was the manager came out to confront the person who I spoke with on the phone and asked her loudly in front of me if she had promised me a room (I never used those words) to which she of course said no because that wasn’t what I said at all She then told me a room would be available at 1 (it was 11) which meant I would have to sit in the lobby with my dogs and luggage another 2 hours Fine whateverAround 1130 they call me over and tell me there’s a room available She gives me the price, which is lower than what I was quoted on the phone, so I ask if that’s a suite She informs me dogs aren’t allowed in suites Mind you, I had canceled another reservation to come here so I could get in early and have a suite I just took whatever they had available at this point I was not impressed with how this went downRoom was clean and adequate Most of the staff after the initial arrival were helpful and accommodating Beds are firm, like no give whatsoever Some people prefer that, but I wasn’t a fan They have a pool and hot tub, gym, laundry, pretty decent continental breakfast

Shawn Green

The organization my husband is a part of held their annual state conference at this location The staff was wonderful, helpful and just all around great people We took advantage of the pool, hot tub and exercise room

All of those facilities were thoroughly cleaned and our family enjoyed the use of them The breakfast buffet was had great options and was kept stocked even though it was quite busy some mornings I forgot my toothbrush and the staff provided me with one The room we stayed in was large and great for holding meetings prior to or after conference activities Overall, it was a comfortable, clean, fun place to meet for the conference and we would highly recommend it

Not a 4 star hotel, but is nice and conveniently located downtown Their lock system for the doors to the rooms is very problematic I would not stay here again based on that alone

I had to have my key reset 4 times and some friends we were staying with got locked out of their room when they went to get ice The breakfast buffet looked really nice, but costs $20 The towels are extra long and the beds are comfortable I think the beds at Holiday Inn Express are better, but they are still nice I really enjoyed the hot tub The pool is a little on the small side, but it was a perfect temp and clean Overall, if it would not have been for the door issues, I would give this hotel 5 stars

The room was alright The bed was soft The problem we had was communicating with staff as is when we went down for breakfast the employee said it was a buffet and showed us in

We got the continental breakfast and sat down with our plates We just started eating when that same employee who showed us in came up and asked us for a voucher for breakfast We didn’t know what he was talking about so he said we had to pay We already got out plates of food so we paid Our bill was $43 for a continental breakfast for 2 people It was insane I feel like continental breakfast is nice it’s not the best breakfast but you put up with it because it is free They should honestly feel embarrassed but the cost of that garbage Oh And the cost of that room was absolutely not worth it We paid almost $500 for 2 rooms with a joining door for 1 nightYou can do better

This is definitely the place to stay to be close to everything! From our hotel we walked to the Gateway, Farmer’s Market, and City Creek! The rooms were clean and comfortable They offer underground parking for $22/day which is a bit steepThey upgraded our room because they ran out of regular king rooms, so that was an added bonus!

Our room wasn’t really clean I found dog hair under my pillow in the middle of the night The bathroom had the smell of hint of puke when steamy

The pool area and work out rooms were also used during our stay They were in good repairThe Steakhouse Spencer’s Steaks and Chops, is worth the visit Great food and serviceThe doorman was great The woman checking us in acted like she had better things to do and didn’t want to take the time to address the issue with the hotel credit that we had The hotel management that I was told to call and leave a massage with never returned my callIts down town and close to things That being said there is a lot of crime down town and the area is not safeWe visit the area 2 to 4 times per year The Hilton does fine without our business and can continue to do well without our presence We will not return

I’m really impressed with the customer service and amenities of this hotelA few friends and I stayed here a couple nights to be close to the downtown area It is really easy to get around from this location and is within walking distances to many restaurants and bars

The hotel itself is really nice with a couple of restaurants and a Starbucks within it There’s even a rental car center within the hotel for those who need to rent cars There is a parking garage beneath the hotel with its own separate elevators Four elevators operate all of the floors of the building which is a teen stories high When we checked in, we were graciously given a complementary upgrade to a larger room on the top floor with a fantastic view of the mountains One issue is that the hallway outside our room is extremely warm in temperature The rooms themselves have no issues temperature wiseThere is a massive and well-kept indoor pool on the second floor of this hotel The fitness center is split into two sections, one for cardio and one for weights, and these rooms are also located inside the pool areaThe parking garage below the hotel is really easy to get in and out of, however, finding spots is extremely tough as massive pillars in the garage block many parking spaces from being accessibleOverall, this is a great hotel if you’re looking for a good location in the city

Fairly standard hotel that seemed relatively clean However, the hotel is beginning to show it’s age The bathroom ceiling is beginning to crumble due to years of humidity (no vent fan in the bathroom) and there is mold growing in the bathtub grout

The toilet paper rolls in the bathroom both had less than half a roll left with no replacement rollsThere are no microwaves in the rooms, but there is a communal one in the front desk area The pool area seems like the nicest part of the hotel The gym area is a typical hotel gymThe hotel is in a fairly centralized location close to plenty of eateries, pubs, attractions, and public transportationThe front desk staff were friendly and helpful Unfortunately the Hilton app didn’t work for keyless entry during my stay, however the physical key wasn’t a problem Check in and out were effortless through the app That being said, I probably should have stopped by the front desk as I have 6 different charges totalling over $2,500 for a $800 stay Additionally I opted for the extra Hilton points rather than meal credits during the check in process and the points have yet to post

I didn’t like the hotel, there is no free parking, no breakfast, I had to slam the door so it could close every time The shower was clogged up, the pillows were old because they didn’t keep the shape, the light fixture in the bathroom was rusted, the valance on the curtain was falling, furniture was old, bedding was stain They claimed the pool was heated which was not true

Also they don’t have housekeeping If you are used to someone making your bed, getting you clean towels and taking out your trash, this is not the place You have to put your trash outside of your door and ask for everything else you might need but they didn’t tell us that when we checked in To top it all off they don’t have late check out We paid a lot of money and it was not worth the price in my opinion I paid nearly $1,800 for 2 rooms for 5 nights and they couldn’t accommodate for me to check out 1 hour later in one of the rooms It was just 1 hour Some staff were friendly The only good thing about this hotel is LOCATION !!! There is a few hotels around the same area with more amenities so next time I visit I will look somewhere else to stay I feel robbed for the price I paid

Chayla Teske

Didn’t enjoy that we had to pay for parking

$10 per night per car Must have missed that in the description Hotel is a little run down Receptionist was nice A light breakfast would be nice, muffins or something on the goMake sure to put the do not disturb on your door Even though check out is 11am, room service woke us up walking into our room around 830 Doors have large gaps at the bottom so we could hear everything going on in the hallway Kids running, the ice machine running We woke up a few times because of noise in the hallwayThe only plus about this hotel is the close approximately to city center Temple square is right there, the tram is across the street, City Creek Mall is a block away

Maxwell Krem

Stayed 4 days Check-in was easy, and all the staff were very friendly There is no complementary breakfast

Bathrooms are a little bit small but functional enoughThe exercise/workout room has treadmill (was very fussy), a couple elliptical machines, and a set of free weights: workout options are a bit limited The room and bathroom were cleaned well enough, however On the positive side, I thought the staff were very responsive, and the hotel is very close to the light rail and the convention center

If you plan on staying more than a few days, be prepared Getting things like towels, toilet paper, coffee, etc, is quite difficult You get a lot of pushback from the front desk and hand ringing when it is not done

Also, I stayed in one room on one side of the bed After nearly 2 weeks, I pulled back the other side of the bed and found a quarter size blood stain on the sheets I was given another room and told the manager would contact me, which never happened The room itself is very nice, as are the amenities The gym is top-notch and the wet area is above average The elevator buttons are tricky and the common areas that include hand sanitizer, soap, paper towels are often empty Just about every day, there was trash or crumbs in most of the common areas Lastly, the “bistro” is useless They are always out of anything other than pastries and overpriced and burnt coffee The location is superior and salt lake City is an incredibly clean and well thought out city As for this hotel, you could certainly do worse but could certainly do better Two out of five stars This could easily be a 5 out of 5 hotel with better staff and management

Tammie Madsen

The hotel was clean and pretty however there is no parking for the hotel so you have to pay an additional $20 per vehicle for the public parking Additionally, the “free” breakfast is cereal Nothing else

You have to pay for the milk for the cereal They do have fruit and muffins at an additional fee but they claim to have a free continental breakfast which is boxed cereal We came over the weekend with kiddos and got 2 rooms which were well over $500 per night and were hit with additional charges for basic hotel parking and a measly breakfast Hyatt House is right next door and we think the better, cheaper option

I stayed at this courtyard a week ago and had an issue and still haven’t heard from a manager I didn’t realize til the next morning of my stay that the shower had not been cleaned, complete with a lot of hair and a used hand towel There was also dried lotion on the sink, which made me wonder if that had not been cleaned either

I told the front desk when I checked out and showed her pictures and I asked her to tell the manager, he was not in at the time 3 days after with not hearing from management, I called and left a voicemail It’s been 6 days without any contact from management to try and rectify this situation Accidents happen, but I’m more disappointed that management doesn’t care enough to reach out to a customer to rectify a poor experience I travel to SLC often for work and I will be choosing a different hotel from now on

My Dad was air flighted to the U of U Hospital after falling from his horse My cousin and I are both Marriott members He set up the rooms and paid for them

It has a really nice rooms and outside area was stunning The hotel was great to work with us and provided a medical rate It was perfect location and we were very close to the hospital However, when I checked out they insisted that the rooms weren’t paid for, so I paid it when checking out Then, when my cousin and I talked, we discovered that were double charged, and it took almost a full month to figure it out

Very disappointed First of all, if you’re looking forward to hot showers during your stay at this place, forget about it! There’s no hot water coming out of the shower heads Just a tiny bit warm, enough to wash up quickly and get out

Secondly, no microwaves in the rooms Nor do they have a coffee maker (Starbucks in the lobby though) There’s one microwave by the front desk, so had to go down four floors to heat my leftovers And wait for others to heat up theirs Paid over $300 a night for this Marriott location that is equivalent to any other less expensive 2-25 star hotelDid notice alot of group meetings, conventions, catering So maybe they’re great group hosts 🤔

I Made reservations five weeks in advance for TWO rooms When I originally called I was told we would get adjourning rooms Guess what we got, ONE room on the fifth floor and the SECOND room on the seventh floor

We were told at check in that’s all that was available BS, the parking lot was NOT even ½ full Besides poor room location, the A/C wasn’t the greatest because the direction blades were broken and you could not adjust the airflow direction Room was small and no microwave I have had a better room at a Motel 6 In nearly 60 years of travel from Pacific Coast to the Atlantic Coast and many places in between have I ever received such poor service NO, WE WILL NEVER STAY AT ANY MARRIOTT or recommend Marriott in the future
