I would leave negative stars if possible I awoke to BED BUGS crawling on my legs at 2 am (BED BUGS are more difficult to get rid of than lice

) I demanded to see the manager who was entirely indifferent to the situation and said there was nothing she could do until 6 am She wouldn’t give me a refund until the next manager was on shift, who she was on the phone with “You’ll just have to wait ‘til then” Complete with sassy side to side head tilts I said I would wait at the front desk until then I made sure to mention BED BUGS in our conversation if anyone was in earshot I’d want to know if the hotel I was in had BED BUGS!!!! She accused me of threatening her job I didn’t I threatened to post the video I took of the bugs and how I was treated She called the police because I stayed at the front desk “staring at her” I’m in a wheelchair What exactly was she afraid of? Exposing the hotel for the infestation in my room??We had to sanitize, buy pesticides, and disinfect EVERY scrap of luggage, clothes, EVERYTHING, all at our own expenseThe night manager was so unpleasant I take immense comfort in the fact that I only had to be in that infested Comfort Inn for a few hours, she has to work there I can only imagine what is breeding in her houseI will never stay at a Comfort Inn or a Choice hotel again! And believe me when I say I will make sure to tell anybody I come across!

My family came up for the weekend to see me, and chose this place as their place of stay Overall our experience was pretty nice EXCEPT the cleanliness My brother jumped on the bed as soon as we entered our room

I went to go sit down beside him, but noticed HAIR on the bed Although it was small not like a strand I’d rather not know where those hairs came from As being myself, I continued to check the bed underneath the comforter and between the sheets I was still finding hair all in it My father went to the desk to say something about it We couldn’t get another room, so they gave us clean sheets for that one bed to put on ourselves Then, I started to check the other bed because I was paranoid What did I see? HAIR, again All sorts and all kinds Later on, my brother took a shower and said hair was in the tub before he used it We changed that one bed and picked the hair off the other My brother rinsed the tub clean of hair before taking a shower Other than that it has been good But I am having a very difficult time trying to go to sleep and paranoid with the bed I am in I have no other pillow or blanket to use of my own It was just disgusting! I cant find myself going to sleep because I am thinking about all the hair i had to clean off the bed

The only good things about this hotel were the comfy beds and the nice chair The plugs on the lamp did not work, so I had to charge my mobile device across the room The television only had 10 channels

The hair dryer did not work well Though the free breakfast was nice, the rates for such bad room conditions was unexplainable I will not be staying at another hotel such as this one again

We loved our recent 3-night stay here – the inn is a beautiful building which will absolutely take you back to the old South Rooms are large and very nicely decorated Be aware that because of its age, our room didn’t have a closet but there are wall-mounted clothes racks and ample bureau space so it wasn’t an issue for us

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Liberty Hall!! My wife came here annually for over 10 years back in the early 90’s so it was a very reminiscent stay The house has been completely remodeled recently and they have done an excellent job of retaining it’s original qualities while restoring its historical attributes (beautiful wood floors, wrap around porches, etc) It is absolutely exquisite!!! The recent new owners Susan and her husband provided us with a lovely tasty southern style breakfast and were extremely hospitable

It is a short walk into the charming Pendleton town square where there are several shops and places to eat Come and enjoy a glass of wine on the many porches and relax in this truly beautiful place!!!

This was a nice hotel in a quiet location We are a family of four and the room fit us well The small kids were able to sleep on the pull out

You can use the cushion to block the ac, because it blows exactly where the pull out is The bathrooms were nice and clean We weren’t given enough towels but that was an easy fix Only issue was the extra linen in our room wasn’t clean There were stains and hair on the extra linen provided We went downstairs for more linen but they didn’t have any additional blankets Overall we had a good stay and I would recommend staying here for families looking for a good night’s rest

We arrived on April 8, 2022 around 11:30pm to check in to our room When we got to the front desk, we were told that our room had no A/C The unit was broken and would not be repaired during our stay

They would knock off $40 for our troubles The hotel was full and there were no more rooms available They said we could find somewhere else to stay without a cancellation penalty Note- our reservation was confirmed on Jan 21, 2022- 10 weeks prior to our arrival!! We were never contacted by the hotel regarding no A/C It was 1130pm on a Fri night in a college town on a spring game weekend Thank God we found a room for the same price at the Hampton Inn 3 miles away that had A/C and wonderful accommodations BEWARE!! YOU WILL NOT KNOW IF THE ROOM IS IN WORKING ORDER until you show up Proceed with CAUTION with this hotel We would have been homeless if it was a regular season football game rather than a spring game

I stayed in the Parlor Suite last night with my family I have not been that impressed by a hotel room in a long time The hotel has a very welcoming small town vibe, yet classy

It’s not like walking into a Hilton being greeted by someone with a bad attitude who has checked in 100 other people that day The room was beyond expectation as was the presentation of the room and bathroom I had interacted with 5 total Inn employees during my stay and the interactions could not have been better each time My wife absolutely hates hotels and even she enjoyed her stay I would absolutely recommend this Inn to anyone that asked

A very comfy place to stay, I have stayed here a lot over the years and it is always very good It has a very warm decor and the rooms are nice with a fridge and microwave Parking is good but a little limited when you happen to stay when they have construction folks there with their big trucks and trailers, but okay

Bed has always been so comfy for me and they have a wonderful light over by the desk that’s up on top that has a very nice warm glow Breakfast is good with good options, and a nice seating area It sits on the main highway right by Lake Hartwell and there is a side walk out front if you want to walk down to some of the restaurants downtown, lots of choices there, and very close to campus The staff has always been extremely nice and helpful on my visits, and like I said whenever I walk into the lobby I kinda feel like I’m at home Warmoh there are train tracks out back of the hotel, but in many stays over the years it has never bothered me, but just so you know, and there are no crossings close by so it isn’t blowing it’s horn so for me again not a problem, one last thing, I don’t know how it was built, but it has always been very quiet in my room even when I’m not on the top floor still no noise from overhead very quiet, in fact one of the quietest hotels I have been inhuge plus Again that was for me when I was staying there

Hotel room seems clean and staff has been very nice but the two things I was most looking forward to have been an epic fail The bath tub stop doesn’t work so I have to hold it down with my foot through my whole bath and the curtains will not stay open to see the pretty water view I asked them to have maintenance look at the curtains but they just said there is a clip missing and it’s fine

I’m pretty sure the cam is broken entirely which is why it won’t go up at all (let alone the broken clip with it hanging lopsided) but what do I know 🤷‍♀️ also the digital key option didn’t work because the room I selected never got cleaned When I showed up they just gave me a different room with a real key which is fine just don’t bother downloading the app since it does nothing Also the remote for the TV didn’t work

This is the first time I have stayed at a Tru and I was thoroughly impressed The concierge team was some of the friendliest and most helpful I have met in hotel service The facilities and amenities are great with a pool table and lots of board games to keep a family busy in the lobby

The room was clean and comfortable For the price, this stay will be hard to beat The continental breakfast was decent as well I will be looking for a Tru in other locations!

Horrible service When being told every single room in the hotel was booked on 4/22, there was never a computer check, I was just being told this verbally I completely understand it is not the hotels fault that a slew of college kids with no home training were all of checked in close to 11pm and were not made to mind However, I was also told that I would need to get an exact room number of the people that were being loud So, not only was there not a single movement made on the staffs part, I was also told I had to police the hallways instead of you know People that work there? The rooms were nice But I got no sleep and defeated the purpose of paying 170 dollars for a night to be kept up all night Horrible staff that did nothing to help alleviate a legitimate grievance a guest had If the young ladies behind the counter would have made it look like they attempted to check something, it would have at least shown some kind of respect for guests Ah well, no love lost

Staff was friendly, great view, great proximity and amenities appeared to be nice… however, several issues:1 “Shared” suite (door in between rooms) was not sound or light proof – could hear entire conversations held from arrival time until the other party decided to sleep2

While my wife and I were excited to stay here based on reviews we were thoroughly disappointed We were traveling from out of town to attend a wedding and looked forward to the stay Upon checking in, mind you the process was simple and front desk staff was nice, we were flabbergasted by what we found in our room

MOLD From the moment we walked in to our room we noticed a funky smell and odd dampness to the room Upon a little more investigation we noticed our lampshade covered in MOLD spores Absolutely disgusting How in the world is this not noticed or cleaned? We also noticed that things in the room, like the bed, felt slightly damp as well We immediately debated our options and elected to go back to the front desk and ask for another room At that point the nice attendant at the front went to the managers office and came back out to notify us that was the only room available Fine, understand that I cannot change the vacancy of a hotel What really annoyed us though was that after letting staff know that there was MOLD the manager didn’t even come out to speak to us and sent her staff to handle it Quite frankly I’m disappointed in the customer service of the management staff as well as disgusted by a room with MOLD in it that wasn’t cleaned and was approved for occupancy Imagine what you could be breathing in staying in this place Room number 3101B Do better management staffGo stay at the Abernathy around the corner Slightly more expensive but an absolutely awesome and clean space in a better more beautiful location*also check my other reviews on google, you’ll notice I don’t leave negative reviews on really anything That should indicate how awful this experience was*

Absolutely gorgeous setting on Lake Hartwell nestled amongst the Tall, Tall Pines are the just right comfy cabins of the Clemson University Camping with all the necessities to feel comfortable while being quiet and still enough to take in the sunrise, sunset, and stirring of local deer family Hiking trails are good for beginners

We planned our meals and cooked outside at the well built shelter stone grill We enjoyed all of the waterfront activities Great for our family to have this special time together We loved it!

Very lovely, wonderful retreat! We had our wedding here almost 2 years ago and had so much fun The staff is so attentive and helped us think of everything! Sitting in a residential area 16.6 miles from Clemson University, this elegant B&B is housed in an 1897 Greek Revival manor house on a 9-acre property dotted with oak trees. It specializes in hosting weddings and events.All 5 rooms (including a suite) have period furniture, with refined wingback chairs and canopy beds. The rooms come with fireplaces or garden views, and the private bathrooms all have showers (some also have bathtubs). The suite adds a whirlpool tub and a private balcony.A warm continental breakfast is served daily. The back porch offers views of the grounds, while on the first floor there’s a sitting room and some dining rooms.

Beautiful location not too far from Colonial Williamsburg On a somewhat busy street but I didn’t hear any road noise from my room The floors are creaky, but the guests during my couple of nights here were tame

Sadly, breakfast was served later than my schedule would allow, but I was able to eat some of the snacks they leave out for guests The parking was easy Really seamless stay here That and its affordability mean I’ll be coming back soon

Let me start by saying that Magnolia Manor is a beautiful, well-maintained venue and B&B Ultimately, we had a great wedding and look back fondly We rented the B&B for the weekend, our ceremony was in the garden and the reception was in the pavilion

It was all beautiful! However, the staff was subpar The owner and coordinator was great leading up to the wedding but was totally absent for most of the weekend My non-bridesmaid friend ended up being the one to check that everything was done and to fix whatever wasn’t correct She did a lot of work on wedding day that should have been the owner’s responsibility I felt like she was more concerned about her vendors than she was about me and my husband The ceremony director that was included in the venue package didn’t listen to me and made the rehearsal a very stressful, frustrating experience She was kind of pointless The DJ (also included in the package) gave off weird vibes and made some guests uncomfortable If I had known how much we were being charged for him, I would’ve just made a playlist myself We opted out of the included photographer and used our own The chef (also the co-owner) was the nicest, most flexible person there, he was great

Ten of us from church had Sunday Brunch at Magnolia Manor We had a lovely and tasty experience at this beautiful manor home The staff was warm, welcoming and very attentive

Our food was plentiful, delicious and reasonably priced We will be returning as Magnolia Manor plans on offering Sunday Brunch with Plated Brunch Specials on two Sundays a month Now that’s a culinary plan you can sink your teeth into!

Was told this campground was not in best shape but since it was close to friends in the area, we booked it anyways We have stayed in many BAD places in the past Well BAD was only saying it lightly

It is in much need of a good clean up, sites covered with leaves and some areas so washed out, leveling was next to impossible Obviously the owners don’t care about cleanliness or getting a good rating so people want to come back The owners have no idea how to run a campground as they probably have never camped a day in their life There are a couple of trailers for sale on permanent sites, and I can see why Anyone who cares about how their site looks would not stay here permanently It is a typical southern rundown place

People new to reviews I’ve learned never to trust a review that has neither a write up or pictures Even at that your standards may be higher than the posters so take them with a grain saltWe had a pernament spot there under the past two owners and when the site rent more then doubled we sold out

I do hope the new corporation makes a lot of improvements Especially with the newer campgrounds

And, since this is a pet FREE hotel, we didn’t have to have animals walking through the dinning area! I feel this hotel and staff are the essence of our expectations from the Hilton group, something corporate seems to be departing from as a whole

I was not happy about the rooms being cleaned every 4 days My husband and I stayed 5 days and our room was NOT cleaned on the 4th day We were responsible for our beds,emptying trash, clean bath towels and wash cloths

We were supposed to be on VACATION not cleaning and making beds and emptying trash As if we were at home Cleaning our bathroom 🤦🏽‍♀️ Our stay is 5 days 😳
