We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Harbor! The resort is very clean and the rooms were spacious The views on the lake side of the resort were amazing! Worth every penny to be facing the lake The water park was fantastic

Our kids (ages 12 and 9) had so much fun and the adults did too! We rode waterslides, the lazy river, the surfing simulator and we really loved the basketball hoops in the pools The water park including the locker rooms was very clean and well cared for The staff at Blue Harbor were very nice and friendly We noticed several staff members enjoying themselves with co-workers when they were off their shift and we found that very appealing If everyone who’s there loves the place, then they’re very likely to take good care of it! The beach was a little bit of a disappointment – the sand was filled with small dead fish and the water was freezing It would be worth it for the resort to have an agreement with the city to rake and clean the beach Overall, we highly recommend Blue Harbor!

When I arrived it looked like a castle 🏰!Such a nice structure, navy color patterns, and windows that allow natural light come throughout the lobby!Dreamy😍The bedroom had a chimney and a living room, so invitingI felt so much at peace there, I was able to rest and forget about everything and everyoneThe noise is minimal even during day hours

The service is very professional and polite, never felt discriminated or neglectedThank you, BHR!I didn’t try the restaurant inside the resort or the water park, not even the pool; but they all look good for a good timeThey also have a mini golf course, I wish I had more timeThe views are to die for, especially with the fog, I felt like if I was part of a story book 💞The thing that impressed me the most was how fast the hot water comes out, two seconds and you are ready for a calming shower/bath, love it!It’s a place for families, for people that wants to get away from it all, for people that wants to see lake Michigan while enjoying an ice cream from a chair 🥰I recommend itPricey but worth it 🙂

Everything was amazing! We had a great time at this Resort My family and I checked out Monday and The Water park was great for the kids, & the room was amazing and clean! Shout-out to the friendly and energetic service we had Saturday morning, at The Beacon Nathan was our server and he was running non-stop helping everyone he could, while still giving the best positive customer service to my family and I

Well recommended!

I was pleasantly surprised the entire place was clean and fresh I have never stayed with Baymont we were going to a wedding and we were referred to the hotel Easy to find, plenty of parking free coffee tea and breakfast in the morning cereal pastries toast yogurt and such

Very helpful front desk Try it out Pool and hot tub inside as well, pack your suits

Elizabeth Williams

Not once did I come into the lobby and have anyone behind the front desk just a sign left there telling you to use the phone to request assistance and wait Also there’s a wonderful sign in the room advising guests that there is no turn down service for guests staying multiple nights asking you to see the front desk if you needed towels shampoo or garbage bags Also the binder that should have local services and amenities was completely empty not even a list of restaurants

Definitely not to the standards I expected from a Wyndham property especially in a King suite

A little pricey for having limited facilities However, it was right on the boardwalk trai and you could walk the 15 miles to the harbor light from here

The room was comfortable enough, and staff was attentive and friendlyStill, not entirely sure it was worth $200 per 6bight after tax

Chad 2003

The place was not bad, but the following day we went on a charter boat upon return @ 11AM I went back into the hotel and asked if there was a place to change clothes ( I was in shorts and needed to change to pants since I was on a motorcycle) since I could not get back in my room The staff told me there are no public restrooms and I would have to find somewhere else to change

Marit Bauman

This is a great two star hotel! We loved that it was close to the beach and the state park You can walk to restaurants and the shore We brought a box fan as noise travels from the hallway

The full size beds were too narrow for my husband and I so we brought an air mattress for our kids We got a room with double beds that was non smoking The room was clean and smelled fresh There was a generous breakfast with juice, frozen sandwiches, coffee, yogurt… the staff was nice and responded to our requests Overall it was good for its rating and we kept our vacation on budget

$189 a night and the ac/heating unit did not work The attendant on duty said he would let the manager know, hinting at a possible discount due to full occupancy When I spoke to the manager the next morning she said there would be no discount

I feel as though this particular location cared more about taking my money than making sure my stay was a comfortable one This motel is not worth your money, I will never stay there again and I would never recommend it to anyone reading this either There’s way better for cheaper

Sufficient is the word for this property We showed up in the morning to see if we could get in early Sometimes it happens so it can’t hurt to ask

I said, “Hi, we have a reservation” “Check in isn’t until 3pm” “I just wanted to see if there was any chance to check in early?” “No” (with an implied what are you thinking?!) “We were packed last night totally full We’re still cleaning the rooms You don’t want us to give you a dirty room, do you?” – mind you, we were one of 4 cars in the parking lot at noon “Oh that’s ok We just thought we’d ask” We were definitely putting him out by even asking if we could check in early How absurd of us! Which made asking to use their bathroom receive a “yes” with a total scowl of disapproval It was inside the “Employees Only” back room where their washing machine sounded like it might blow up at any momentWe came back at 1130 pm to check in The front desk person said “license, please” and “please sign” for the incidental room charges and that was itThe bed was fine for a double The room was cleanThe people next to us were up and getting ready to leave at 530am with loud music to get them pumped for the day I assume they checked out not long after because then the vacuum started up at 730 am when Housekeeping went into their roomWe chose this place because there wasn’t anything reasonably priced left and, our fault, we hadn’t planned in advance

Daniel Alberti

Oh boy, this was unexpected! Quality Inn charged us $250 on a Friday before 4th of July Weekend

Which, in a bind I can manage but walking into a room that was previously occupied by Cheech & Chong was over the top This place was STINKY like spilled bong water after killing and ounce of chronic! Manager didn’t care about our complaint, said, “you ordered this room” Huh??? Yes, we did, but we ordered a room from a ‘smoke free” hotel so this is just wrong If you have painful cataracts & can’t afford medicinal Mary-Jane just come to room 121 Contact -High got you covered!!!

Inn on Woodlake was a disappointment, but the situation that followed is my real reason for a one star review When we checked out, we had a gift card in the amount of $1,000 that we planned to use to cover our stay and spa services The woman at the desk processed the gift card and she said we didn’t owe anything ($434 had already been charged to my credit card when we booked) and that the entire gift card had been used

When we questioned her on that and asked for an invoice, she assured us that everything was correct and she would email us the invoiceI did my due diligence to look at the invoice and turns out that she only used around $800 of the gift card and the rest was charged to my card My red flags are telling me that she planned to keep the money for herself on the gift card, but I called to give the benefit of the doubt She knew right away what I was talking about and said she would send the gift card to me in the mail with the remaining balance She did not include reference to her mistake when she emailed me the invoice AND she did not call me to tell me of the error I had to call her – this is a huge red flagI reiterated that that was not what we wanted We wanted our credit card refunded partially so that the gift card was used in its entirety She said she would make that change and send a new invoice Which she did BUT my bank has not received any notice of a refund, which again leads me to believe that it was never actually processed I’ve called the manager and her response to deal with the situation was to say “that doesn’t sound like something this employee would do” and “it was her last day, maybe she was in a rush” Those are not good excuses If it was her last day, she should know full well how to process a gift cardStill nothing has been done to remedy the situation and I’ve called twice I must say that any relaxation we received at the spa has been completely undone This is the not the Kohler experience that I expected I will never return to Inn on Woodlake and I’m still waiting on my refund from this situation in the amount of $138

We were looking into this property as a venue for our wedding, however we chose not to even tour the property due to a text that was sent to us mistakenly by one of the owners when we texted him to say that we had arrived for our scheduled tourI’m not able to upload the screenshot of the conversation, but basically we were lied to and when we confronted them they blew up and were very unprofessional! Save your money and time…don’t bother with these people, they lie and them get upset and make it your fault when you call them out!

Adele Affholter

My husband and I had our renewal of vows/ wedding reception here Nate and his staff were wonderful! Very helpful but also out of the way It was impressive the amount of work they were able to accomplish behind the scenes

We received so many compliments on the venue Plus, having the place for the entire weekend meant no one was rushing us out at any certain time Very relaxing and memorable weekend for us and everyone else

Robert Hawl

Alone and uncomfortableThe first and last time we will visit a bed and breakfast Felt like we were trespassing from the beginning We understand owners had family obligation that day, but why have customers if you can’t be there? We were okay until we read the reviews from previous guests in the room books

They had a fantastic time that we had nothing of We left early because we still woke up sore from a very uncomfortable bed still feeling uncomfortable in this environment The water also smelt horribleWould not recommend as a 200$ motel

Our 6-night stay at the beautiful and historic Rochester Inn was delightfulContactless check in is a breeze and self parking is right outside the entrance to the innOur lovely 2-story suite was well appointed with nice furnishings that gave us a feeling of being in a house, and the bed and linens were super comfortable

The bath had a separate shower and a oversized tub The suite was super clean and very quiet Our favorite part of the day was when the innkeepers, Ray and Kelly, showed up at our door right at our requested time with a beautiful breakfast tray The food was delicious and nicely presented on lovely platesMany kudos to this lovely team of innkeepers for their hospitality and personal attention to details

Carl Nerup

Brilliant We stayed in the Garden Suite and all my wife could say when we checked in was exceptional First, I think it was due to how immaculate the place was on the clean front

Two, working air conditioning is nothing to take lightly Third, the suite was tasteful and welcoming For being so close to Kohler and all it’s amenities, this place is nicely kept secret for folks with discriminating taste that desire something a bit more personal Oh, and the food in the morning is brilliant Would stay again

D Klafka

If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet romantic retreat this is the place! A boutique B&B nestled in the cute Sheboygan Falls downtown area perfect for that weekend away with someone special Kelly, the Owner and Innkerper, is so friendly and extremely helpful and ensures that every guest is well taken care of Breakfast is delivered fresh to your room and so delicious! We had cinnamon almond crusted French toast and sausage! Loved every detail down to the complimentary waters, coffee bar, lip balm and bath salts

The tub rooms are a must have! Beds are super comfortable with plenty of pillows to share We will definitely be back to visit again!

Michelle at the front desk is extremely rude, terrible customer service We travel a lot and stay at a lot of hotels and she’s the rudest person I’ve spoken with yet We are staying here for a wedding and every question I asked her she made it seem like an inconvenience to her and answered which such passive aggressive anger

I called to confirm my reservation since I didn’t get an email and make sure there’s a refrigerator in the room because I’m breastfeeding during a formula shortage…that simple and she was SO SO rude!! I’m not sure if she realizes that having customers at their hotel ensures she has a job…if you have to stay here try not to deal with Michelle

Craig Roberts

This is a pretty standard Fairfield, though I thought the room rates were high compared to what the property offers ($300+ on a summer weekend) The location is out on the edge of town so not super convenient but it’s only 15 min to downtown Sheboygan The free breakfast was adequate but nothing exciting

Our king std room was on the small side compared with other hotels in this class, but it was clean, quite and comfortable This newer property has modern touches like a walk-in shower and power/USB outlets galore A mini-fridge and microwave were in the room Staff were friendly and engaging

Allen Dehnel

Came with a wedding party I happened to be standing up for Our rooms were not ready when they said they would be Had to wait at least 30 mins

So the entire wedding group got ready in the only available room and because ppl had all their stuff in one room they would not let us in the room due to liability issues and no one could get their stuff until very late at night when the owner of room came back very poor service and gym was closed too My friends and family will never come here again period

Friendly staff but disappointed in service We were told at check in put your dirty towels and trash in front of your room and they’ll give you clean towels due to Covid We did that but when we returned several hours later no towels and the bed was never made up

If the concern was Covid not one staff member had a mask on at anytime At the price of a room you should be able to get better service Using Covid as an excuse?

The guest service here is phenomenal! I am having my wedding near by and stopped in to check the place out Ashley was super helpful and knowledgeable about the hotel She was super quick to help us and even gave us a tour

The guests all appeared to be having a great time and the rooms looked super spacious and nice You could easily fit three families comfortably in the two bedroom suite and it makes the price absolutely worth it! Highly recommend

Kelly Anderson

I really enjoyed my stay here! The location is great – right in downtown for restaurants and a quick walk to the riverwalk or marina The front desk staff were always welcoming and friendly The one bedroom was quite large

I was only there for a few days, but it had everything I needed It was very clean and comfortable I brought my dog and the dog fee was very reasonable They even put the dogs by the back door to make it easy for potty breaks, which I really appreciated My only critique was I wish the TVs were more updated, but that was minor Thanks for a great stay and we’ll definitely be back!

Jason McDonald

Staff was very friendly both at check in and check out (less than 12 hours apart this trip) My room was clean and comfortable It may not mean much to others, but I especially appreciated the laundry basket provided in the bathroom and the fact that there was a separate recycling bin

I would definitely stay here again, especially for a multi-night stay
