First off, I had BED BUGS in rooms 324 and 321 My proof was the 40 or so bites up and down my body, the bloody sheets, and a bed bug shedding I found under the mattress After all that, the maintenance guy and head of house keeping were reluctant to believe me

Luckily, the manager believed me and paid to launder all my clothes and switch me rooms I stayed in my new room for about a week until I noticed another blood spot on my pillow then I called and made reservations at a hotel on base for rest of my TDY I’m not sure if the bed bugs followed me over to the new room or if it was already infected I did tell the manager again and she had the room sprayed but the person who sprayed didn’t even move the mattress Seems lazyI understand that the room cleaning crew may be understaffed and overworked by their managers, but, when you leave the “change linens” sign on your bed they definitely do not do so They just tidy your bed up and move on They did this twice to my bloody, BED BUG infested sheets in the old room and another time in the new roomThe only upsides to this hotel is that it is located near a couple great restaurants, a gym, and the coop Easy access to places around town plus it’s right next to base They do offer evening snacks such as popcorn and nachos along with two free beverages a night to include wines, beers, water, and other soft drinksThe hotel is aged and shows it Some rooms have lingering odors such as cigarettes or chemicals I’m unsure what the chemicals could be… Would have been a nice stay if it wasn’t for the BED BUGS

To be honest, I did not know that hotels could be so different Here, you have a kitchenette and a nice amount of space to spread out Aside from the room, the laundry facilities are well maintained, the pool is always clean, the breakfast is very good, and the outdoor patio with grill (and if you ask the front desk, they will give you a grilling kit) is a game changer! If you are out on business or vacation, I cannot recommend the TownPlace highly enough!

Broderick Brancato

Gladys, the receptionist, was very accommodating in making sure our room was on the first floor of the hotel My family consists of small children and I did not want to be a bother to other guests that may be located below our room Gladys went above and beyond to make sure our room was on the first floor and even put us right next to the pool for our children to play!

Tremendous find as we were very fortunate to find this hotel and extremely fair pricing We got the one bedroom suite Beds were great

Excellent kitchen and living area Better than average exercise room with dumbbell weights Indoor pool (small but still managed some laps) Fantastic hot buffet breakfast included Huge comfortable lobby for extra social opps And very close to campus and everything we needed Everything in the room and hotel in general seemed brand new The plastic chairs in the eating area seemed out of place but everything else was top notch Very pleased It out a smile on all of our faces while driving cross country

So this is our second stay here With family nearby it was the most convenient location Turns out that was serendipitous

Turn right from the parking lot the turn left find great food and conversation just down the road Recommend “High Heat Grill” Stay on the road for 30 miles across a scenic desert and then turn left for a day at Tombstone or right for a day or two or three in Bisbee So easy no GPS needed or wanted The Manager of the GPS (Justin) is always approachable and amenable to our needs or concerns which were few in the weeks’ time we have accrued here The pool and hottub were inviting but it was simply too chilly this trip The rooms are equipped with a large fridge and cook top/sink so we could have prepped our own meals easily but we were in tourist mode In my work I would easily choose this for a long term housing during a contract Clean, modern and still very homelike environs Recommended highly and with pleasure

Carol Sander

I’ll begin by saying the room was clean and comfortableThe issue a faulty TVCable The front desk was zero help and unwilling to call anyone to resolve the problem…she had no solution for us but to talk to the manager who was unavailable and she could not move us to another room or refund us until the manager came in at 9:30 am the next day

My request to personally call the Manager was dismissedBy chance, the Maintenance guy, Roy,stopped by He immediately diagnosedthe missing cord issue and resolved the problem It ended up he had to return and replace the box as well He deserves a pay raise! I can’t say enough about his friendliness and knowledge of the situationI’ve had a good experience here before, so I was unprepared for the front desk to be unable or unwilling to accommodate us in anyway

This was our third or fourth visit to the Cowboy Cabin The new owners have greatly improved the property This was the best stay that we ever had at the Cowboy Cabin

The owners were respectful of our privacy but were always available if we needed anything There are a lot of wonderful nuggets of nature of the world and this spot is one of them We always enjoy the deer, turkeys and the variety of birds that come to visit However, be warned that the weird sound you here there is the sound of peace & quiet-we refer to the Cowboy Cabin as the Zen CabinA six star stay

V Huang

We had a fabulous stay at the beautiful Ramsey Canyon Cabins The Tranquil Hummingbird Cabin was perfect Jen and Greg have equipped the cabin with everything to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable

We saw many hummingbirds and other birds at the feeders right outside our windows In fact we got some of our best pictures without even having to leave the cabin We enjoyed the nightly visits by the deer (Jen and Greg thoughtfully provided carrots to feed them) and the skunk and the bats We also loved walking the trails on the property and sitting in the peaceful bird garden The property is very private which we loved We are already planning a return trip in 2023 Highly recommended!

John Diesburg

Greg and Jen have a perfect spot to get back to nature There are trails that lead to spots with magnificent views of vistas of the majestic mountains or beautiful valley Seeing the sunshine on the mountain from your big windows of hummingbird cabin or the comfortable patio furniture

Watch birds of different species that are everywhere all around It’s an amazing adventure right in the heart of the historical Ramsey canyon The host are there within reach when you need them and make sure you have what you need We were able to get a LP fire pit to rent so we could sit on the patio after the sun went down This is a rare find for a nature lover And it’s only a short drive to Sierra Vista A beautiful city in southern Arizona I will be back at this spot next time I’m in the area Oh and there is a special treat for the bird lovers that happens every night Ask Greg about the nightly turkeys routine Amazing!!!

What a great place to stay! The park is clean and they have a nice dog park The laundry room and bathrooms are very clean When we arrived and found our spot, we felt like we were too close to the neighbor on the right side of our trailer and we called the office and they found us another spot and it was PERFECT!!! Everyone is friendly and so is the staff

FYI: If you have dogs please be careful for the thorns on the property They got stuck in ourshoes and dogs paws 🐾 We found them towards the front of the property

Tim Flagg

This was my second visit here, stayed a week Resort has all the amenities you expect Check in is handled with no contact

A fairly large park with lots of long term tenants Sierra Vista is a dozen miles away with all the big name retailers and eateries My site was a pull thru, full hookups with 50 Amp, all gravel with lots of maneuvering room 5G with T-moble and 20 or so TV channels Tombstone and Bisbee are within 40 minute drive Lots of hiking and birding locally Rates are very reasonably I would definatly return

Harris Rosenberg

Where can I say seems like a pretty good RV park if you are into RV parks Two club houses a fountain Lots of services very close by at Mustang corners

A bar with pizza, a Chevron station, Dollar general all within a half mile A typical snowbird type place with a lot of political flyers and flags up at least there are flags and flyers from both sides but still However as far as RV parks go this is probably a great choice 15 minutes from Sierra Vista 45 minutes from Tucson and yet kind of out in a rural area basically very quiet and peaceful beautiful stars And there is a bar a half mile away if you want to have a beer and look at the snow capped Huachuca mountains

Incredibly enjoyable stay, rooms were nice and spacious The fridges kept freezer my food even after I turned it down (knob was on the back of the appliance) Employees were kind and professional

Site was beautiful Breakfast was surprisingly good, minus the eggs and oatmeal Eggs were watery and oatmeal tasted like paste and needed a lot of inclusions to enjoy (which they had) This was not an issue for me as they plenty of other options to eat Pool was a tad too cold for me but the hot tub/jacuzzi was nice

Ripped off for $1000

The hotel claimed I didn’t let them know I wanted the BAH rate (my word against theirs to be fair), so even though I provided the correct documentation and I definitely was eligible for the rate they refused to give me a refund Asinine policy that you can’t get a refund for a rate to which all parties I agree I was entitled toIHG corporate is telling me it is the local hotel’s decision, while the local hotel is saying they don’t make the policies and their hands are tied Who is in charge here?IHG introduced this policy to “help servicemen and women,” yet their true character shines through with their miserly attempts to fleece us for every penny Stay elsewhere if you can and triple check what you’re being charged!

Fraud They sent me an email saying I had a reservation for the end of the month

My name is spelled wrong (horribly wrong), and the location is about 1000 miles from my nearest family member I called and spoke to a lady and told her it was a false reservation and tried to cancel it I also asked to remove my information from the customer database since I’ve never used their hotel line The first lady I spoke to read off the false information to me, and I confirmed the spelling of the incorrect email The second lady I talked to was worse trying to get me to spell my name correctly and asked if my relatives would have made this reservation for me(I’m pretty sure they would have spelled my name right) I said no, and she asked if I was sureI reminded her my name was spelled wrong, and it wasn’t even my legal name She kept me on the phone forever to keep asking me what my email was and how to spell my name why does that matter if I told you it was false, and I wanted to cancel whatever reservation was made in the first place I’m not an overly intelligent woman but talking to those two ladies was like watching baby seals clubbed to death (painful) The amount of stupidity was overwhelming Be careful and use a prepaid card with this company just in case

Nice hotel overall The third floor is being renovated right now so there is a bit of construction going on right now The breakfast was good

eggs and sausage was all I would eat due to my gluten free diet There were other gluten rich foods like cereal, bagels oatmeal, muffins, and danishes they did have a nice selection of juice and the coffee was very good We went to the pool today and it was small but still nice the construction didn’t really effect anything, just limits capacity of course Location is great and the AC in the room was the best AC I’ve ever had in my life Super cold if you like that sort of thing

guillermo macias

This my second time here and I think the staff is great don’t believe that at any time we had a problem The rooms are very clean and maintained overall area could be better I mean more landscaping give it a better look for it’s location but you your situated within distance of restaurants, gas stations and grocery store near by so in perspective I would recommend and or stay here if I’m not on business

Great hotel in Sierra Vista in a good location My only complaint is some of the staff were not the friendliest The vast majority of the staff was very helpful and friendly

There were only a few that weren’t The breakfast is better on some day then others but isn’t horrible even on the not so great days The rooms were clean and cleaning staff kept the entire hotel clean I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sierra Vista

Vickie Thompson

We stay at Marriott’s all the time and we love them However the food at this Marriott here was totally disgusting Everything was probably frozen and then cooked to death in a microwave

It was hard crusty, nasty, just disgusting I’ve never had such bad food We tried it once we looked the next morning just to see if maybe they were having an off day and they weren’t The rooms are very tiny, but thankfully they’re clean and the staff was very friendly

Beverly Roof

If I could give more than 5 stars, in would Everything was easy from check in to check out I was in Arizona for a rather stressful situation

It was nice to go back to the room and rest comfortably with hot fresh coffee or ice cold water and a nice little store for snacks after hours The people were friendly and if know they have no idea how much they helped me through a very hard timeThank you all !!

Two stars; one for the convenient location, one for the fact that its a functional room that you can sleep in Carpets are gross, decor is stained and marked with questionable substances I would have given it more stars despite the other issues listed if it wasn’t for the blood on my sheets and the soiled bathroom towels

Not only was there blood on the sheets but the bed was dressed improperly Matress cover>flat sheet>blanket No fitted sheet When brought up to the clerk she provided a clean flat and fitted sheet as well as a blanket Shower curtain is sheer and does NOT keep any water in, your bathroom WILL flood and get the carpet wet unless you point your shower head to the wallAltogether, nice staff, cheap price, with functional ac/fridge/lights Just make sure to bring indoor shoes and your own blankets/towels when staying here

Greg Jackson

We were given a “non-smoking” room, and the smoke stench was horrible The sheets were stained The place was not clean

We complained, and they said it was because the room next door had smoking I’d give them ⭐️, but they moved us to a real non-smoking room after we said we were leaving That room was cleaner, and was truly a non-smoking room We were only going to be there for 6 hours, so we stayed I know the place is inexpensive, but that is no excuse for that first room

Amber Richter

Rooms decor and amenities were dated, carpet was rough There were a lot of small holes in the walls and ceiling A/C worked great but was loud to run

TV stopped working a few hours in the stay Toilet was not properly secured; wobbled Parking lot was horrific, falling apart and debris you wouldn’t want to run over Found a random 45 caliber casing by my room in the parking lot Not the best sign

First of all, The staff was pretty good but one of their Manager was very rude and sarcastic… The Breakfast is okay, very basic Limited snacks, Thin walls, and their parking lot structure is pretty bad Most of their linens has stains on them, and their towels doesn’t smell that clean…I highly recommend Best Western Plus, They have better rooms and some has kitchenettes

Their Breakfast has a wider variety to choose from and taste better Their Cafeteria is clean, They have a counter full of free snacks and goodies and a fridge full of free drinks You don’t have to ask for water… They have a nice and spacious lobby and the staff are very professional and the managers are nice

Sasha Graves

The overall experience was low I was there for over a month and had a room with two queens sized beds I never had a use for the second bed except to take up space

It would have been better to stay in a room with additional lounge space Only had a mini fridge, so very minimal storage space No kitchenette, always had to get delivery or eat out, big waste of money Didn’t even have paper to write on, I could only leave housekeeping notes if I used my own paper or a napkin The sheets looked dirty and had stains on them The comforters are a weird design which makes it look like they got ruined in the dryer or something When I made requests for small items, like more hangers and coffee, I never got them I was on the first floor so I couldn’t even open my drapes during the day I faced the parking lot so I always felt someone would see me The windows could easily be opened as there was no real security on them, so I didn’t want anyone to see in my room and potentially steal my stuff when I wasn’t there The breakfast had your basic stuff but not much of an option for people with food sensitivities They said you could make a request for other items but I never did since my previous requests were forgotten/ignored The iron in my room was not working properly and ruined a pair of my pants so I stopped using it Even after things were ‘cleaned’ it still seemed dirty (Ie, crumbs on the table, dirt on the floor, etc) I took out my own trash most of the time because they do not provide large bins for longer stays Laundry is an additional cost, which is a huge disappointment since the cost of staying there was already over a couple thousand dollarsI will say that the staff is very nice I had great conversations with several of the workers there None of them talked down to me or had an attitude It’s just unfortunate that the hotel they work for is sub standard, in my opinion I’m sure they do the best they can Other hotels in the area seem like a better choice Larger rooms with more closet/drawer space, actual space to make food for yourself, etc etc

Robert Moore

This is a good place if you are in town overnight or for a couple of nights max My room was big, quiet and the bed and pillows were comfortable The air conditioner was working well but it’s a bit loud

The pressure of the shower head was very weak Used the gym and it smells of sweat, and the treadmill is old and needs maintenance They have a breakfast buffet but to me it wasn’t good to eat Lacks healthy options

The hotel employees are nothing but exceptional Every single staff member from the front desk, maintenance, sanitation, kitchen

you name it amazing The hotel is by far the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in There was some issues with other guests in the hotel The staff didn’t hesitate too immediately ask the guests to depart their stay I’ve traveled all over this Country This hotel sets a bar for all overs to follow and should be providing training for other hotel managers on how to properly run a hotel Cheers to you and thank you for making my and Pierre’s stay nothing short of stellar

Linda Brockman

Where to start…a couple of good things: room was very large and clean and the staff friendly However, there were so many small annoyances! There was a line at check in After waiting patiently I found out why

The clerk went through the usual process then said I needed to go through screens on the pay pad and agree to everything, then sign I went through (no exaggeration) at least a half dozen screens of fine print If I had taken time to actually read what I was agreeing to the people in line behind me would have started a mutiny!Luckily we are averaged sized people because to close the bathroom door in the room you have to slide in between the sink and toilet The shower curtain barely reaches the top edge of the tub so I laid a towel along the tub when showering to make sure there wasn’t a puddle when I got out A grab bar in the shower is always nice, but one placed outside the tub between the tub edge and toilet where it would be almost impossible to step out is uselessYou also need to be small to use the bed nearest the window because you need to squeeze between the corner of the bed and heating/cooling unitBreakfast was ok, we’ve had better The lobby cleaner decided to vacuum, etc right outside the breakfast room door about a half hour before breakfast was finished Had to yell to talkWent to the front desk for something at 5:30 only to find a sign saying “back at 5:45”, no one around, no bell or anythingI assume they are short staffed because rooms were still being cleaned at 6:30 (once again, noise- vacuuming, music, etc) We didn’t mind it at all but I bet others did

Bubo Neko

Absolutely love this Best Western! They are right next to Fort Huachuca and the Huachuca mountains (so you can have a beautiful view)The first thing you notice is how friendly the staff are and how clean it isThe rooms are soooo clean

I usually wear my shoes the entire time I’m staying in a hotel room but I actually feel comfortable enough to go barefoot hereThey also allow pets! I had my dog and four guinea pigs with me on my very first visit here On my second visit, I just had my dogWe really enjoyed their breakfast on our first visit (2019), but we didn’t have breakfast during our most recent visit We were just in a rush They also have complimentary water anytime for guests and complimentary milk (and chocolate milk) for guests at breakfast time They do have sodas and snacks for purchase at any time behind the front desk, but they are pricey There is a Circle K located right across the road for sodas and snacks, tooThere are a few cons:* The bathrooms are clean BUT incredibly small Like you can stand in only one spot when you open or close the door (Personally not a deal breaker for us, but may annoy some people or be very difficult for the elderly or anyone with mobility issues* They are expensive Our most recent visit, on a Wednesday, was $140 for one night* On our first visit, we had a two bed room that was soooo quiet This most recent visit, we had a single bed room and it was actually a little loud through the door We heard absolutely nothing through the walls themselves, except our neighbor flushing the toilet* It smelled so amazingly fresh and clean, BUT someone microwaved something pretty dank Soon enough the entire floor smelled like mystery meatThese cons weren’t enough to sour the experience for us, I just like full disclosure We’ll definitely be staying here again and will recommend to others

Excellent RV park in Sierra Vista! We highly recommend them and will definitely stay again Our site was clean and spacious The staff and other campers were very friendly

The park felt very safe, I even walked by myself at night The pool and hot tub were a highlight for us On-site laundry and large community rooms with kitchens really rounded out the deal THANK YOU!

Have lived here very happily for almost 3 years Friendly neighbors, fun get togethers, amazing amenities and staff I knew from the first time I drove in that this would be my home

I have found peace and quiet in a neighborhood close to all of the places that I need to access, medical, shopping, fun!!! Can’t imagine living anywhere else

I am so happy living in Sierra Vista mobile home village Not only are there mobile homes here but also recreational vehicles We have an indoor heated pool, a pool table , a library and the RVs have a small shed where they can put things while they are here

The photos come from our annual Christmas party this past weekend I will try to take some more photos in the near future of our facilities We are a small park it’s not so huge that you don’t get to know other people We also have coffee on Saturday mornings, bingo, game nights, and other activities for all to enjoy

35 stars When I checked in yesterday evening the young man gave 5 star service

The room is a solid 4 stars Very clean, well stocked, cable, very hot water, low price, microwave, refrigerator, comfortable bed Quiet, I slept great A couple of small things in the room are broken but functional dropping it to 4 I’ve come to expect limited breakfasts due to covid, but the only option was oatmeal packages I do love oatmeal, but alone I don’t call it breakfast! I smiled at the lady at the desk and got nothing in return When traveling for business starting the day off right is important and a smile, greeting, and apology for breakfast would have made a solid 4 stars I do recommend this hotel, make sure you plan on outsourcing breakfast The room is as pictured on the website and I’ll attach pics of the little things that brought it down

The staff was friendly and the room was clean, but the breakfast was very basic and it looked liked the microwave for our breakfast sandwich hadn’t been cleaned in weeks Our bathroom in our room had mold on the walls and the ceiling The water pressure was so strong, which is better than low water pressure, I guess

The beds weren’t the most comfortable, but they did the job

Residents close to club house are very familiar with one another and keep a skeptical watch on new residenceDuring our month stay, in site 69, we were accused of breaking into the communal facilities by a fellow resident A notice of eviction was placed on our front door asking us to vacate the property

Kimberly and I both went to the main office to explained we had not broken into any facilities and the allegation against us were falseThe manager, Dorinda, was understanding and apologized for the situation Dorinda was also extremely kind and respectful and made us feel welcome within the park However, the skeptical residence surrounding us made us uncomfortable and paranoid Take careDorinda gets 5 stars The residence of the park closest to the office and near site 69 get 0 stars I’d recommend staying at this park, but reserve spots further away from the office Best wishes:)

I camped out at Mountain View RV Park while in Whetstone on a walk across America The manager, Sheila, was incredibly friendly and accommodating The grounds were well kept and orderly

The bathrooms and showers were spotless! Possibly the cleanest facilities I have come across on my travelsThey even have a really nice clubhouse/community area where other campers congregate and socialize – I felt like family as soon as I walked inI would highly recommend camping here, whether you are RV or tenting The rates are great, everything is clean, but the people and atmosphere were what made my stay truly special Thank you!

I stayed at this RV park from January to October It’s 20+ minutes out of town and off the beaten path, and therein draws some colorful characters at timesThe park was clean as were the restrooms and the showers

There’s not much else there to talk about The area they call a gym is not really a gym but a small room where there’s a couple pieces of equipment and a few free weights The owners are out of California and the regional manager is in Texas I believe, who never show themselves The management that they had was a bit of a drama queen who would get easily rattled and if she thought you talked or looked at her funny she’d get her military husband after folks They also had their little cliquey group and she transferred the management to one of those gals The current gal who, due to medical and physical concerns has difficulty keeping even the simplest commitments, and neither one of them had any managerial training whatsoever In my humble opinion they were both in it just for the free Rv site and perks for themselves They seem to forget that patrons of the park are who keep the park open, not them in their managerial positionThere’s another really nice RV park just around the corner with much larger sites and more reasonable rates The seasoned mgmt there seemed nice and easy to work with too There are also a couple other RV parks in town that have a lot more to offer for the price, but you might have to get on a list
