This hotel is in an ideal location, you can walk everywhere It’s sweet and cozy and has great outdoor space Despite being on the busy Mission Street, our room was quiet and comfortable

Every single hotel staff we encountered at the here was so helpful and polite The bar and restaurant has great drinks and dinner menu The only complaint we had was that our room was extremely dusty and was not dusted for the 3 nights we stayed There were cobwebs on the lights- so that was disappointing Overall, we highly recommend

My wife and I recently decided to hold our wedding and host our guests at the Landsby and it was the best decision we could have madeThe Landsby was the perfect venue and the only thing better than the venue was the staff First and foremost, John, the Event Manager, was an exceptional partner

We’re grateful for all of his tireless efforts, exemplary customer service, and simply fun to talk to on a weekday afternoonSecondly, we have Jackie, the catering manager We f’ing love Jackie Her energy was infectious and her attention to detail and desire to make our moment special was very appreciated She went above and beyond when needed and made us laugh and smile in the processIf you’re looking to host an intimate gathering with 50-60 people look no further than the Landsby

Jason N (Amasin)

Location is amazing, you’re basically in the downtown area and can get to anything by foot; including most of the Winery tasting rooms Rooms are nice and clean, good service with available underground parking for $15/night The place is a little old, with thin walls and ventilation system

But you can’t beat it’s location and convience

Stayed here for one night June 10 2022 Overall the hotel was nice However, it was a very hot day (mid 90s)

When we entered the room, several windows were open and the air conditioning was not running The room was uncomfortably hot, well over 80 degrees We promptly turned on the A/C, and closed the windows, although several of the window cranks were stripped and we had to pry the windows closed with our hands and fingernails In our room (#8), the A/C unit is on the living side, and the sleeping area is separated by a tall (~7 foot) wall, and the cool air does not move well past the wall I’d suggest the hotel provide fans to help move air in the rooms in the summer season and ensure the A/C is running (and windows closed) when new guests arrive Because check in/check out is all done via phone/text, we never saw any hotel employees and the office is at the Hamlet Inn around the cornerNot our best stay in Solvang and next time we’ll look for another place to stayFurther note – Google shows free breakfast, but as of this writing there was no breakfast offered

When staying in Solvang, the Atterdag Inn is a MUST! Such a great location within walking distance of many bars, restaurants and coffee shops The place has always been clean every time we’ve stayed there The communication with the host has always been great and we haven’t had any issues

Parking is just outside the property which is a plus!

Let me start off by saying that the place is beautiful and very well maintainedI have been in the hospitality business for over 25 years, but I am writing this review as a patron, and I have never written a bad review in my lifeThe reason for my one star is that the staff was patronizing, dismissive, and sometimes plain rude

The rest of the time we were ignored all together (we actually spent very little time in the hotel because of how unwelcomed we felt) The day of our departure we passed the front desk 4 times, nobody said hello or even offered to help us with our bags When you are being charged over $600 a night, the price of what is considered a 5 star establishment anywhere in the world, service is the number one expectationI actually just hung up with one of the managers because my card has been charged twice When I told her that I was very disappointed with the service, once again I was given the “I am so sorry to hear that” she did not ask any questions as to how things could have been better (rule 101 of hospitality) I will not give you her name, because I do not wish for anybody’s job to be jeopardizedI usually give places a second chance, but considering how I was just spoken to on the phone that will not be happeningI hope this does helps raise the bar for future guests, but I can’t ignore how upsetting this experience was

This hotel was AMAZING! Elegant, luxurious, and offered a cool feeling of “old London” mixed with contemporary The whiskey room was awesome! We sipped whiskey and played chess next to a fireplace Breakfast was included and it was restaurant style

So delicious The outside area with the grass and fireplace was really nice – we want to stay again!

We had an amazing wedding weekend at the Santa Ynez Inn We’ve stayed here many times and it was wonderful every time, but the wedding weekend was completely magical Beautiful grounds, beautiful space, amazing food

Planning with John was as stress-free and awesome as planning a wedding could be Everyone at the hotel – EVERYONE – was sweet, helpful, happy for us and made us feel like family John and the staff at the Inn worked with us to allow us to add many personal touches, they were patient with all of our requests and suggestions, and everything was absolutely perfect It was just exactly the way we wanted it to be, and it was due to the wonderful people who worked tirelessly at SY Inn to make it happen for us We are very grateful!

My husband and I stayed at the Gypsy Suite and WOW we loved it The details of the room and the bathtub are spectacular! We’ve never been to a place like this Denise, Rod and Kathy were very nice and friendly

A gas station and restaurants are within walking distance which we loved We can’t wait to go back and stay at a different suite! Oh and before I forget the breakfast is super delicious and they bring it to the room without you having to step out or anything 10/10

I want to preface this review by saying that although our stay was marred by some major problems, I still want to go backThe Good:We stayed in the Egypt Room and it was enchanting I was worried it would be too hot but there was excellent temperature controls in the room

The theming was fantastic The bath was enormous and luxurious The shower was a standing shower that doesn’t feel cramped, and a showerhead that’s both high enough to stand over and adjustable as needed The street sounds never permeated the bedroom, and though I did hear people on the stairs it was infrequentAs some reviewers mentioned, the TV placement is a skoosh awkwardly You can see it from one side of the bed and the chaise lounge That said, we really liked the CD and kept it on as white noise (Additional thematic cds would be great!)I will also say that the food was delicious, and I loved how food etc was brought Every meal is room service at no extra cost, and it really adds to the feeling of luxury (And is great for an introvert!)The Bad:We brought up avoiding carbs when we booked our stay, and was told that while there would be some, there would be quiches and we’d be able to eat the egg and leave the shells if we wished This sounded fine At arrival, this was true for the first day, but the second day breakfast was nothing but carbs (Strudels and croissants) No mentions of our earlier request or agreement, no quiches second day I didn’t bring it up at the time because I really don’t like to complain (as you’ll see later) But I would be wary of staying here if you have dietary restrictions, especially related to blood-sugar levels (My need was based on a keto diet for that reason, but I’d already decided to not worry about it for the vacation itself)The much bigger issue:We had major plumbing issues The hot water in the shower kept cutting out, turning icy and causing pressure to dipMy husband called the number we’d been given, and the manager on duty said they’d contact the owner and get back to us I finished my shower in freezing waterLater my husband noticed the toilet was running a lot, a sound I had noticed too but assumed old building, old pipes He decided to check the well, and discovered a problem with the chain causing it to flush constantly He was able to reach in and temporarily fix it, and we agreed to just let it go for now, and talk to the manager about it when they got back to usThe manager never got back to us, so we called ourselves the next day after breakfast, brought up the discovery with the toilet Their reaction was something like ‘oh, you fixed it?’ to which I very emphatically emphasized it was absolutely not fixed, it was a bandaid They said they’d fix it for the guests after us, which I was not thrilled about, but agreed to because I’m conflict-adverseThis problem would continue to deteriorate throughout our stay until, by the end of our second (and final) night and for the rest of the stay, the toilet was completely unusable We had to ‘flush’ by dumping huge amounts of water into the well It was horrific and utterly ruined the final night (of two) and morningWe mentioned this at check out, and the manager said ‘well you mentioned you weren’t planning to leave your room’ being utterly dismissive that THERE WAS NOBASIC PLUMBING DURING OUR STAY IN THIS LUXURY HOTEL and acted like we requested this (We did not)After we left, the owner herself called and seemed much more apologetic Apparently, the first day she had called a plumber, but the manager had them sent away(!!!) after we called backOwner offered a small discount (especially considering the gravity of the issue) which I accepted mostly because I DO want to returnBut I still feel obligated to share this and emphasize that if you have issues, please stand your ground about it Don’t be like me I regret not being pushier, I might have been able to enjoy the end of the stay if I was

Amanda Carter

This place was definitely worth the 3 hour drive! The Innkeeper Denise and Ron were an absolute joy and made the overall experience very memorable We stayed for 1 night in the Roman room it was so much fun My husband and I were both blown away by the amount of detail and class this room had

The town is so charming and the Japanese soaking tub in the room will blow your socks off! If you’re looking for a place that is like no other you should make a reservation and check it out for yourself Cleanliness and customer service is very important to the owners and it shows! The breakfast was so savory and delicious it kept us full up until lunch time I’m in the process of making another reservation as I write this review! Don’t second guess this place!Treat yourself, or the ones you love to this experience of a lifetime You deserve to let your hair down and have a good time! I hope you booked something even if it is for a night

Overall, our stay was pleasant in regards to the people, location, and vibe We especially enjoyed the peacefulness of the gardenWe did, however, get very little sleep, as the bed was incredibly uncomfortable- quite possibly the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in

While the room smelled clean, there was dust on the tables next to the bed and a bandaid stuck to the tile, under the sink, in the bathroom The AC kept us nice and cool though!

Felipe

The M was a good little hotel cottage We arrived Thursday July 14th and left Friday July 15th The reason I gave it a 4 stars was It didn’t have a continental breakfast, the rooms Mini fridge was under the counter behind doors, small things but for the price , yes you get the ambiance but most of the areas have all of the amenities and would be nice to eat some breakfast in the garden and courtyard

All in all a good little stay

We had a wonderful time here Nice vacation spot with kids It wasn’t super busy too when we went

All staff were kind, professional and always smiledThe hike trail was one of my favorites, beautiful scenic view at sunset If you can’t hike it, you can access it via parking lotEvery part of the resort was beautiful for pictures I’d recommend to bring your camera !The bistro had delicious buffet options They had fresh juices and plenty of healthy optionsThe beach was okay I wish there was beach lounge chairs, umbrellas etc There was a dead seal and lots of flies It could be maintained better ( I’m guessing it’s not a private beach) The beaches on shoreline are better maintained and better for kids if that’s something you are looking forRegarding rooms, I knocked off one star cause we had pigeon poop all over the balcony And the toilet didn’t flush properlyOverall, I wouldn’t pay $1000 a night again This was my first time staying here but honestly you are paying for the name I’ve been to other 5 star hotels but this location wasn’t worth $1000 a night

C Bee

WOW The beach location of this Ritz Carlton is one of the nicest in the entire California for sure I have stayed at all of the Ritz Carlton Resorts in CA and I can say this beach location is one of a kind

It is truly gorgeous especially during sunset The sunset view itself is worth the $1500/night The room is also spacious comparing to the other locations More of a Spanish style which I miss I owned few properties in Barcelona and Madrid and visiting here last week reminded me back in Spain- We had a great time and we will be back when the weather gets warmer ;)As always, the ladies and gentlemen at the Ritz provided top-notch services

Shideh Bahmanyar

It’s a beautiful and vast resort with great views The food we had for the event we were attending were great For dinner they did multiple tables and had an amazing poke table that was my favorite! I wish I had more time to do the walk to the beach but we were on a tight schedule

Enjoyed walking through the property for our scavenger hunt activity! Sure got our steps in!

We had a great stay at this Hotel It’s very clean with elegant decorationsGreat and very helpful staff! We had the room booked through Booking

com more than a month ago, and the website cancelled our confirmed reservation without informing us So when we checked in, the hotel only found a cancelled reservation Although the rates increased, they honored our bookingcom rate and gave us a room right away Thank you Hotel Corque!

Don Moore

I’d put this at the top of the list of hotels I’ve ever stayed in The rooms are beautifully designed and look closer to a high-end house than a hotel Nifty features are everywhere

And the price is less than the typical Hyatt type of places If you’re coming to Solvang, this is where you need to stay I asked for a regular room and got a two-room suite in which the two rooms are separate and there are great pull out queen size couches in both You could put a family of four to six in here easy

We stayed 3 nights The 1st 2 nights we stayed in the king suite but the hot tub jets were broken so we down graded to the standard king room on the 3rd night

We had absolutely no problems in the standard king room and wished we had stayed in that room our whole stay Not only was the hot tub working but it was nicer than the suite Nicer and larger fridge, a desk for writing, a comfortable chair with ottoman, and a sliding door out to the pool areaUnfortunately the overpriced king suite included a the most uncomfortable futon i have ever sat on ( a sleeper sofa was pictured and listed in listing), had no pool view but instead we had only a window with a parking lot viewThe staff was friendly and was able to give us local recommendations, more soap, and towels No food service was provided due to covid

B.J. Ocampo

Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shops in town Room and bathrooms were updated and clean Bathroom had a jacuzzi tub

Pool was clean and water was warmReservation tip: To avoid street noise, reserve rooms by the back parking

Benjamin Grover

When we checked in they upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite at no extra charge which was really nice The pros:Room was cleanIt was roomyThe shower and rub were both largeThe cons:The shower wasn’t sealed so water got on the bathroom floorThe jacuzzi tub has the worst water pressure ever so it took forever to fillThe tv over the jacuzzi tub wouldn’t change channelsThe room only has a swamp cooler which is quite loud and provides no AC in the bathroomOverall it was a fine place to stay and very convenient to walking to town but I probably wouldn’t stay here again for the price

V

Seriously one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had From start to finish the experience at Fess Parker was excellent At checkin we were greeted by friendly staff who gave us a tour of the grounds and amenities

Our room was large and luxurious with a private fireplace, complimentary wine, and all the amenities to make for a comfortable stay The bed was SUPER comfortable with luxury linens Breakfast was delicious and again the staff was exceptional We also took advantage of the outdoor fireplace and pool area – which made for a comfy spot to enjoy a glass of vino We will come back

Glori Traeder

From our first phone call to the Fess Parker Wine Country while traveling without a plan, to the manager bringing us our lost Apple watch after we checked out and everything in-between was 5 STAR The room was warm and inviting on a California winter evening, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was very accommodating The Inn is located in the heart of Los Olivos, an adorable, peaceful Santa Barbara county wine country town with great wine tasting rooms, shops and dining

Because the tasting rooms close around 6 pm, the town pretty much closes down soon after We will definitely return!

Tim Richardson

This was our 3rd time staying at this wonderful Inn It was my birthday weekend and I have to say it couldn’t have been any better Upon arrival we had a very nice bottle of champagne on ice with some delicious cupcakes in the room

The staff is always terrific and everyone makes you feel welcome and part of the family The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are spotless The town of Los Olivos is very charming with over 30 wine tasting venues in town, it’s such a blast to spend a couple of days visiting and making new friends We also visited Fess Parker winery and had a blast Zack who waited on us, was very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and a lot of fun!! This is a perfect place to spend a few days or longer to unwind and have a great time I highly recommend (I would give it more stars if I could) the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn

Simply put: a world-class family experience We’re so privileged to be able to do this as an annual family vacationOne of my favorite spots in the world

Love this place and the people who make the magic happen (from the gardeners to the food servers to the management – and everyone in between) Horse ride pancake breakfast with cowboy poetry is tops!

Abdulrahman Fakhro

This place is absolutely amazing! the rooms are spacious, the service is five star, and everything is included in your nightly rates such as meals, activities, and as well as tips The staff really takes care of you, and it’s very kids friendly A great place to relax and unwind

The only downside is there are not many horses and most guests would book rides for their whole stay everyday, depriving other guests from the experience

Yakoob Ahmad

Rooms are OK

The grounds are very nice Horseback riding is scenic Don’t expect a young horse that you can go have a lot of fun withA suggestion upgrade some of the rooms to have really nice bathrooms with big spa tubs for couples

Stephani Valdez

I stayed at the Mirabelle Inn for two nights We arrived very late around 11pm and the staff was very welcoming and friendly, even for it being so late We were in room 9 on the third floor

The staff suggested we take the elevator which was a little sketchy Our room was nice but you could tell the building was older The water pressure was great but I had trouble with the temperature The beds were fine but the pillows not so much The location was super convenient to the shops and food If you order breakfast I’d recommend the avocado toast

Tyler Matzke

My girl friend and I booked a valentines weekend at the Mirabelle inn Although this hotel has a very cute and boutique feel we unfortunately were given a terrible room We paid over $360 for our room and were placed on the first floor in room 1 right next to the kitchen to the First and Oak restaurant

This is the only hotel room on the first floor and it’s placed right in between the restaurant bathroom and the restaurant kitchen I will attach a photo to show you how close we were to the kitchen We couldn’t go to bed because of how noisy it is When we called the front desk at 9:45 pm they just told us they couldn’t move us because they are fully booked I wouldn’t be complaining at all if we were paying a discounted rate but that was not that case In my personal opinion, a 4 star hotel with a Michelin star restaurant should know better than to have a guest room next to the kitchen and bathroom in a noisy location Other than this unfortunate issue we had the hotel is pleasant and has a nice vibes and provided us a complimentary bottle of wine !

We also came very late at night, like 11ish We had two rooms, one an accessible one, and one a standard one Other than the fact that I booked directly with them, and I believe paid more as a result, the stay, although very short was the highlight of our 8 night vacation

I own a b and b myself, (and while I have moral objections to shipping water from italy, when we have great american water nearby,) i loved the presentation, the decor, the amenitiesI wish that we had stayed there more than one night and my husband and I may return again, when we are not traveling with a person who needs ada accomodations Their room was lovely thoughi actually thought the house was about 100 years older than it is I mean that as a compliment It has a victoriana or at least a european feel, that I associate with the higher quality of times past Anyway I found it charming, warm and extremely comfortable, especially the bed and the pillowsI would most definitely return

Perfect decorations and locations, staffs here are very helpful and kind The complimentary breakfast with Danish pastry is really nice Generally good at this price

However, the cleanness and maintenance of the rooms can be improved, multiple bugs are found in the room, and both the shower and the sink don’t work well The AC is making much noise and not really functional

Generally this place was a good place to stay Fairly basic with the exception of the exterior décor being in native Scandinavian Accommodations were comfortable and the location was very convenient with just about everything within walking distance

Our room (130) was too close to the main road and the road noise and that of the restaurant across the street was easily heard through the windows and door The room had a fridge, but no microwave (which would have been very handy) There were limited towel racks in the bathroom and the TV picture was fuzzy Lastly, breakfast isn’t much Unless you’re a very European, it won’t be enough Choices of hard boiled eggs, a Danish, OJ, and a couple other items

Sierra Enby

This place was really nice to stay at It’s a place to call home for the night- The staff were really friendly

– The appliances were very good quality- The room was very comfortable- The hotel grounds are filled with trees, birds and seating- It’s on a major road and walking distance to all the shops and a parkI only have a few complaints which are mostly nitpicks:- The room keys aren’t NFC but instead were magnetic cards that stop working if they go near anything magnetic (anything made in the past 20 years)- The breakfast was pretty bad The milk left a bad aftertaste, the pastry tasted old and the “orange juice” tasted like V8- The stairs were really wobbly and creaky up to our room and felt like they would fall over

Just got back from our trip to Solvang The Vinland is in a great location Walkable to everything

Our trip got off to a rough start as we weren’t told that the pool would be under construction That was the main reason we selected that hotel The staff couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating to make it up to us They really went out of their way by providing us pool access at another property and a lovely (quiet) room Maria, in particular, was so kind and helpful Highly recommend!

Room was decently clean and appeared as it did in the photos However the walls and especially door to room was sooo thin you could hear everyone opening the door to get in and out of building, you could clearly hear full on conversations outside your room when they weren’t even yelling Worst of it all is we were placed in a room and got all showered and settled in after a long drive, just to be placed in a room next to a small dog that continued to bark until past 11pm until the drinks I had kicked in and I was woken up to the same barks around 8am

Honestly ruined sleep and the experience Will never stay here again Receptionist was kind and helpful Parking safe Shops nearby But I’m paying to stay comfortably One could say I should have called it in or notified front desk but after all of the driving and work I did, naked in bed and all my stuff is unpacked I’m not moving You shouldn’t allow pets in the same area as guests without pets Now I’m wondering how many dogs have slept in the bed I was in or rolled around in the carpet I walked barefoot on I love animals but it wasn’t a pleasant stay

Motor lodge style accommodation, new owners & renovated February 2020 I found out about this place through Sunset magazineThe check in was quick, the front desk was as helpful & “fun” as a door knob

Beautiful serene, clean grounds We had the deluxe room (#18) that had good amenities but lacking a security safe, extra towels & the shower door needs an additional seal/strip to prevent water from leaking on main bathroom floor Bath products are nice but doesn’t lather good Room key is old fashioned key although cumbersome in this tech world, it made it easier to have a late check out, no key card programming necessaryIt is off the main road, Mission Drive, but quiet enough being surrounded by big trees in the courtyard The pool is small but have ample lounge chairs & good chill music The location is less than 2 miles walking/biking to restaurants & wineries Very convenient Tesla destination charger!!Front desk that checked us out was more personable & helpful!I would definitely come back! It’s an easy 2 night getaway from LA I look forward to some improvements since there was no consistent amenities in the pool, ie towels, water, music

I cannot believe how pretty hotel Ynez is! The grounds are stunning and the rooms are really really nice! Seriously, the pictures on the website do not do just how wonderful this place is The open area with fire pits was perfect and it was fun to play on the Bocce court The staff is kind and friendly, too

We look forward to coming back!

We stayed in room 15 which was nice and roomy and clean We knew it would be a little funky by looking at the pics but it was cool A lot of green in that room

Very loud music from below the room at night but after a text to the front desk they turned it down at around 11:00pm The beer in the honor bar has been there a while so check the dates Five month old IPA is not good Great location, real close to everything Ostrich Land and the Mission are fun places to visit

I really hate giving this wonderful place 4 stars but

(Long review)Location – wonderful The farmers market was right outside as was the music in the park Fitzpatrick’s pub was right outside too and they have fantastic food (we don’t drink)The room – Clean, no, it was beyond clean immaculate was more like itAccommodating our service dog – wonderful they even left small doggie bowls for her (We had a large service dog so the small bowls were funny {not a negative})Front desk – there wasn’t one and that seemed a bit strange but it was not a negativeNow the negatives – there’s no swimming pool When it’s 95° plus, you want to relax by a pool I should have noticed that before I booked our stayAnother negative was the TVs (cable) I couldn’t figure out how to watch the local TV channels We had hundreds of wacko stations but not the local ABC, CBS or NBC stations (How many episodes of I Love Lucy can one take)So if you want a quiet room in the heart of Solvang, stay here If you want any amenities then this is not the place for you

June McKernan

Place is quiet and clean All virtual check in services ( Nice) Good location and parking

They gave us 2 bottles of waters for 3 nights, not enough to make coffee each day No room service or regular coffee, only an espresso machine No regular TV either for local news or major networks Nothing to do in town after dinner, so TV would help Just stupid channels available with garbage on them I would stay here again, just bring more water

Okay, the good first: the location is great! It’s far enough off the main drag to be quiet but very easy walking distance to everything The breakfast is totally fine, the grounds are beautiful, and it’s totally affordableThe not so good: the bed was horrible

It was both springy and rock hard and so worn out that it was like sleeping in a hammock Any time either of us shifted, we rolled to the middle of the mattress where there was a huge divot The room wasn’t terribly clean, and the floors were kind of gross Like vaguely sticky The doors didn’t shut right, and you had to slam them to get them closedOverall, I was pretty glad to only stay one night I would have asked to move rooms or checked out if I had to stay a second night because it was just a miserable sleeping experience If they get new mattresses and step up their cleaning game, I’d happily come back

cristi Li

It’s a Very clean, quiet & beautifully maintained hotel Their gardens are just beautiful and it’s so peaceful and a perfect little getaway from the main street traffic

Highly recommend this location Continental Bkfast is included w a Nice selection of small foods to help sustain you until your next meal I enjoyed my stay here, very pleasant overall

The location and property itself is gorgeous Staff was extremely cordial and accommodating, and the wine and cheese hour in the early evening was a special touch The rooms are cozy and well decorated

They’re on the smaller side, however, we were kind of expecting that walking in, so it didn’t faze us Overall, I thought the pricing was a bit steep, but it’s comparable to other prices in the Central Valley Ultimately, it’s just too beautiful a spot to complain about anything

Doug Lord

Location was great and very quiet I had reserved a ground floor room as I was traveling with a heavy bicycle and wanted to be able to put it in my room at night When I arrived they had changed my reservation to a second floor room although the staff did make accommodations for my bike in the end

The room was OK as to size, but had no storage for any clothes and nowhere to lay out my suitcase The bathtub/shower had no grab handles or soap dish My balance is not what it used to be, so I had to be very careful not to fall getting in or out of the shower I wanted to use my computer during my stay at night but there was no place comfortable to use it in the room I think the rooms could have been better thought out as to guests needs The restaurant was OK, but not special For the price I don’t know if I would stay there again

Valaree Ingrassia

We have stayed at the exquisite Ballard Inn four times previously It is nestled in such a lovely, private, quiet area Simply gorgeous! This was our first time staying since new owners have taken over

They are doing some remarkable and impressive improvements We were not aware that the fabulous dining room is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays, so I cannot comment on the new chef or menu However, everything else was up to the standard of the Ballard’s prior reputation in regards to room cleanliness, public space ambiance, delicious breakfast, and evening wine & charcuterie We particularly enjoyed the new restaurant manager, Kip, a knowledgeable sommelier who shared much information and stories about the valley In addition, the staff are all amazingly sweet and helpful Highly recommend the Mountain Room as it is large and has a private balcony Ballard Inn is by far the best place to stay in the area!
