Really nice hotel! Stayed here for one night prior to our cruise from Galveston The hotel itself is very modernized with comfy beds/pillows, great shower pressure and very friendly staff We were even offered chocolate chip cookies upon arrival

Plus they offer a free shuttle service from the airport The breakfast was pretty good too The only downside is the area isn’t great However, if you are looking for a nice hotel that’s close to the airport, I would recommend staying here!

Tiffany Winton

Excellent experience, stay, and shuttle service! We arrived fairly late in the evening the night before our cruise I called the hotel, and they quickly came to pick up my husband and I Beds were vet comfortable, room exceptionally clean and updated, and showers that run hot for quite a while

Keurig in the room, and a nice breakfast as well They even provided shuttle service to the location we were to catch the shuttle at the airport Overall pleasant experience and staff I will definitely return

sara langton

The rooms were beautiful They were very clean and spacious The bed was extremely comfortable

Laws Party of Five

Nice, big and clean for our family of 5 to sleep in I always love having a small kitchen in our room when travel king with the kids I loved being able to have the option of both pools

The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the breakfast, but I feel like that’s been most hotels during this Covid-era If you can grab any of the waffles though, they were the best! But they went so fast Would absolutely stay here again

P S

Lori Ann Spachek

It really was overall, just okay The overnight staff was FABULOUS! They helped us like family when we checked in late last night! The day staff however, made us feel like we were interrupting their day by actually being guests in the hotel At breakfast the warm cinnamon rolls must have been great as they we’re all gone by seven! I didn’t get one from the first batch and when I asked if there would be more I was told “no” but that I could have a cold one if I wanted it

It’s now five pm and our room hasn’t been cleaned yet and there were no clean towels out at the not-even-close-to-clean pool When we asked to reserve a seat on the shuttle for our flight in the morning, we were told “sorry but our shuttle doesn’t start running until 7 am” Really!? You’re the closest Holiday Inn to Hobby Airport and the earliest flights someone could make after staying here would be 9:00 am?? We specifically chose this hotel because it was close to the airport And good thing we did, as we may have to walk there to catch our flight in the morning!!

Renee Johnson

We were pleased that they were able to accommodate me with a better room because the first room looked like a recovery room for addicts We were also disappointed that no one informed me that the pool was closed for whatever reason before I checked in I selected that hotel because it had an outdoor pool and we wanted to swim while we were on vacation for 5 days

Oh and then the shuttle only runs on weekdays so I was forced to take a $13 uber to a hotel that was less than 5miles away from the airport that I flew into Theresa was nice and she made sure we were straight, however the hotel shuttle and pool situation brought those stars down baby!

Tori Jones

The room was good The pool was nice Most of the staff was friendly

We asked for towels one night and they said we couldn’t take them with us, they had to be delivered We never got them We had to ask again the following day and they were finally brought up The towels were all dingy and stained up A guest’s truck got stolen from the lot We were informed by police that break ins and stolen vehicles is a common occurrence here The location is not the greatest! The freeway is loud all hours of the day and night The breakfast wasn’t good Even the coffee was bitter The best part is it is only minutes from the airport I can’t say we would stay here again

Kyra Benton

The cleanliness in our hotel room was great The front desk clerks were nice and helpful, also the breakfast was good Also the orange juice tasted watered down

When we got back into our hotel room from breakfast and wanted coffee we went to go get the back that had all of the creamer and sugar in it The bag was opened and used and there was also unused bag, it had creamer at the bottom But overall our stay was awesome down in Houston, Texas!

David Herrera

Highly disappointed, arrived on 6/24 ( around 4 pm) from a 17 hour journey with the family and front desk was not able to find our reservation After 60 minutes finally got a room but not what we had reserved and were not able to change during our stayI sent an email to manager explaining the 3 significant factors that contributed to my disappointment

Staff competency, Attitude and communicationLet alone one of our family members had to paid a late check out fee because front desk noted the wrong check out date…go figure

Lorie Horton

I booked a meeting room with the establishment I called the day before the meeting to verify room was ready and we could be there early to set up our items, everything we asked for on the hotels part would be ready as well? The room was not ready, the staff had to put everyting together as we were attempting to prepare for an all day meeting When checking out to pay for the bill, they lost the reservation – the clerk at the front desk had no idea what she was doing, had to call several people to help her

No one answered the phone, was told to call back later and they would figure it out 8 days later, my credit card is charged (not the amount I was told for the meeting room) I called to get the receipt emailed to me, was told to call back tomorrow, she could not get it to come up Got a call the next mornging, was told they were having computer issues and I would have to wait again I drove to the establisment to pick up the reciept I asked about points being added to my account – I am a diamond member Was told no, they do not do that I will not be using this establishment again for meetings or recommending this for travel stays

Dirty and smelled bad They charged my card and extra $9083

This is not the $25 security fee When I asked why I was charged extra they said their system just does that randomly and they would refund me It’s been three days and the transaction is still on my card When I call they say there is nothing they can do about it Stayed here for work and 4 other coworkers got the extra charge as well Do not stay here

The rooms are clean and is conveniently close to Hobby airport My only complaint is that their is some shady people that sometimes hang around the lobby friends of one of the male receptionist Last night my truck was stolen from the parking lot even though they have cameras and a security guy

No one could give a straight answer Inside job (my opinion) I will never return to this hotel

Kim S

It was ok The breakfast was ok Nothing fantastic

Rooms were clean The night staff was not overly friendly Near the airport so kinda noisy Charged my card an additional $90 deposit that she said they charge everyone and would credit back after check out It’s been 3 weeks and still not credited back No issues with the rooms I took photos when we left All pillows, towels, coffee maker and Bible accounted for

The hotel staff is amazing here The staff members are genuine and all of the staff is professional and courteous As a small business owner excellent customer service goes a long way and leaves a lasting impression

Thank you for treating me like family I am extremely impressed with how the staff remembered me and treated me like they have known me for 20 years They made me feel at home while I am away from home

Kelly Huffman

My experience was fabulous and I am forever grateful for the staff at this hotel!I was in such a pickle with no vehicle and not sure if the area was safe to walk ,but nearest store was 3 miles I had forgotten my iphone charger and phone was about to die I went downstairs and the GM Charles was by the front desk and I asked for help

He was so generous and let me use his personal charger! Without my phone I would not have been able to line up my ride for my business meetingAlso, the front desk representative the night I arrived was superb I got in late and as soon as I walked in my room I noticed the maids had not finished and there were no sheets on the bed I called down and said if I could get sheets I would make the bed but he would not allow that He immediately placed me in another room and gave me a complimentary breakfastI have no complaints It again was a great experience and I will definitely be back when I come to this area

Jackson Jones

I stayed here with a friend over the weekend and when I say I had a blast TRAVIS at the front desk took good care of us every step of the way! He provided great service and the guy is funny He kept us very much entertained and works his tail off making sure every guest was taken care over the weekend

I saw him working in the restaurant and the front desk going back and forward helping everyone! Great service I will be returning! Everything was great!

Very clean building with a very friendly staff We had a King Bed Room that had a couch and 2 chairs for TV viewing There is a lot if space in this very comfortably clean room

Even the bathroom was very roomy The breakfast room is very large and serves a good hot breakfast of Eggs (scrambled one day, Omelets the next) sausage links, Biscuits & Gravy & Pancakes There is also a good selection of cold breakfast items We stayed 4 nights and will return to this hotel on future visits Thank you to the staff for being so friendly & welcoming

linsey beach

It was clean and nice Food was good in the morning The rooms Cos a little bit more but that ensures a quiet night

The sweet was roomy and comfortable The lady up front was kind of a space cadet and gave us a single bed when we needed two She also took forever checking us in, maybe she was new But it was a suite I think so we just sucked it up and slept in the same bed as my mom Over all it was a nice place though I’ll answer the questions of the main reason you check here, no roaches or bed bugs Quiet and upscale

Rob Boberts

Clean, comfortable, seems to be safe area Great fitness center with machine and DB rack Saw cops roll through parking lot 2x

No signs of bed bugs, however, mattress didn’t have the full zip up protector, only a fitted top type With the pillow top beds, lots of places for the buggers to hide Found none though Lighting is super harsh blue/white is really my only complaint Loud hall noises but a/c fan can run constantly which helps drowned it out I’d stay again

If I can give this location more stars I would!!!! Mitchell at the front desk was so warm and welcoming! He overheard our frustration with our cab driver and made it his mission to ensure we knew not all Texans are the same! He gave us early check in, a complimentary soda, and ensure throughout our stay we were completely comfortable and happy! Upon checkout made sure we had our receipt in our email and welcomed us back!! The housekeeping staff were so welcoming and friendly and ensured our comfort was a priority The room was very clean and sanitized I fully recommend this location and if possible give Mitchell a raise he deserves it!!!!

Remembered Events

We had a wonderful time at the Fairfield Inn We were in Houston for a funeral and was given incorrect information about roll away beds and sleeper sofas, the lady at the front desk made it right and got us an additional room at a fabulous rate to make up for the inconvenience Everyone on site was so kind and helpful

The breakfast was pretty good We used the gym, a little small but just what we needed to get active The room was a great size and very comfortable bed and pillows Next time we visit our family we will stay here again

K S

2stars because the bed was hard as a rock and I was in such pain and got no sleep Never ever have I had such a rock hard bed at any hotel we’ve stayed Rooms big and clean

Very small staffed and not many people were at this location I chose it based on location to the Lone Star Flight Museum as that was our last stop before doing the Farmer’s market the next am Plus we had cc points Thank goodness I was able to manage the Farmer’s market ok

I needed a last minute place to stay after other plans fell through The receptionist, Tiffany, was very helpful and professional O was able to check-in at the Hilton, when all other Hotels were unavailable until 6am

The room was well kept and sanitary! Clean linen and towels, complimentary coffee, a quiet suite, no complaints! The staff also greeted whenever they saw their guests throughout the hotel as well I would be more than happy to return for another stay

Mike Karstetter

Construction Construction confusion,Hotel has no Lobby, no restaurant to speak of rooms are not cleaned daily ,you need two separate elevators to go from the parking garage to your room it’s signs are badly written or no signs at all and then they want to charge you $50 fee not to stay there the full length of your reservation no refrigerator in the room Better planes to stay In light of the inconvenience and construction going on in the hotel one would think they would waive any fees to offer a better experience

Its understandable that covid brought the no daily room service So what’s the excuse for my room not being cleaned well prior to my arrival I had to reclean my room due to it not being properly cleaned prior to my arrival

No big deal The issue came about five days later during my stay when their was loud music obnoxiously being played and hotel staff lied about talking to other guests to lower the music so I can concentrate on my work and relax The music kept playing until almost 11 PM which is unacceptable After calling the front desk about 5-6times and no solution this makes me very disappointed in the service I received at this Hampton Facility As a Lifetime Diamond member this is by far the worst Hotel experience I’ve had in 12 years WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Natalie Kalanta

Love this hotel, very fast and professional employees checking inBest hotel I’ve stayed in so far but job company pays Not far from my job site

Here 4 months to do Super Target remodelThanks Hampton Inn And even though I smoke, I’ve only smoked one cigarette since I got here No smoke policy but that’s a good thing because it’s making me stop!!

I stayed here for my cousin’s birthday party We were looking for our hotel and it stank all in the halls like weed Than our card took forever to work so it took awhile to get in the hotel

The beds were smaller than we expected Our fridge didn’t even work We didn’t get no blow dryer We woke up at 6 to get breakfast and they gave up brown bags and gave us sugary snacks for breakfast And they had nothing in the breakfast place

Lashontiana Griffin

We were greeted by a wonderful woman named Valencia and accommodated quickly She went above and beyond by giving us a list of restaurants that were near by with mileage and walking time that she made Our room was very clean as expected

Our bed was a bit firm for our liking but it worked Jeff the night clerk was great and very helpful Housekeeping ladies were smiling and always busy when I saw them Building and grounds looked well kept and clean My ONLY negative is the bed I wish it was a bit softer but it could have been worse

mario lasoya

Nice hotel but definitely needs some minor maintenance Leaky shower faucets, shower head had a crack in it that sprayed water all over the bathroom floor (didn’t notice it until I got out) and some aesthetic stuff like 2 different color paints on the room ceiling The breakfast buffet was basically bread and danishes, just add watermill packs, powdered eggs, steamed sausage links, make your own pancakes, small servings of individual yogurts, coffee and your choice of watered down orange juice or apple juice

On-site amenities include a gym, laundromat, conference room and a small store for your snack goodies

Deklin McHugh

I don’t know what everyone is talking about the hotel being dirty, because the room I was in wasn’t dirty at allThe beds had nice, comfortable little sheets and blankets, and there was a tiny little bathroomThere is a dining area too which serves some really good Texas shaped waffles

The stay was nice Louella at the front desk assisted me and she was great Louella was extremely helpful with room selection, I was greeted well, given cookies and water upon my arrival

My only disappointment was that there was no microwave in the room, I had to constantly go to another floor for ice, and no one came to empty the trash or bring fresh towels, this is why I am giving it 3 stars I would still recommend this Hotel because of the customer service and the convenience right by the airportI stayed in a room that was at the end of the building which cut down on noise levels The hotel itself was clean along with the room

Shawn

Rooms were nice and staff was friendly We got into Galveston late due to a delayed flight and when we got into the hotel we had 35 minutes to order food before the kitchen closed The four of us ordered and got the food in 20 minutes

They forgot an entree and told us that the kitchen was closed and could not get us anymore food They then said they would refund the cost difference and after 20 minutes they couldn’t do that They told me they would deduct it from our room stay The lady at the counter felt bad for the situation and have us free breakfast coupons, but I went to bed that night without food The room was nice, but we were next door to a suite that was celebrating a wedding and were in and out most of the night, door slammed every time Breakfast was not bad They had eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, waffles and much much more Thankfully it was comped because it was pricey

Josefina Saldaña

Fresh chocolate chip cookies were the highlight here Parking lot was interesting, only one way in and one way out This hotel is right by the airport so you can hear the planes coming and going, but it’s also pretty cool to see them take off

Airport theme through out Jack in the box within waking distance Rooms and common areas could use a refresh
