Extremely disappointed with this hotel The lobby area is nice but the rooms are extremely dated and not fully clean Our drain in our shower is moldy – I called the front desk to ask to be switched rooms and the lady said she’d give me a call back but never did

On top of that, every day, twice a day I asked for housekeeping to come up to the room and they never came! I’ve been here for four days now and haven’t had housekeeping a single time even though I have requested it almost 10 times We ran out of towels so we called the front desk, they said someone would be up with them – the towels never came So we walked down to the front desk and asked and they said someone would be up – no one ever came We got on the elevator, went to a different floor and grabbed towels off of a maids cart This morning, I had to go to the front desk to ask for more toilet paper, how ridiculous I see a maid cart on my floor every day and I directly ask them for service and I never get it To top it off, our room is supposed to have a mini fridge but it does notI cannot wait to leave this place and never return

Would be 5 stars but air conditioner in room was old and didn’t work well To be specific, it was mid 90s outside and the AC unit was set to lowest temperature full blast and it got down to 76 degrees by the middle of the night after about 8+ hours of running (outside temperature obviously cools down at night too) The room was uncomfortable above 80 degrees for most of evening

Would advise going anywhere else that has normal, fully-functioning AC units in rooms if staying in warmer months Air conditioner in fitness room seemed to be the same so my assumption is all rooms have the same old unit Everything else about hotel and room was as desired

James I Am

Somewhat of a mixed review from me

As others have said the staff are so friendly and helpful but the hotel is a bit dated I had no problems with my bathroom and the bed and pillows were very comfortable It was annoying that there was no ac outlet near the bed so I couldn’t keep my phone charging while I used it My coffee maker worked fine and was much appreciated at 5:00 when I woke up The airport shuttle was great and I had me at the airport in under 10 minutesI asked for a wakeup call but they never called the room which could have been terrible and thankfully I had my phone alarm set The worst part of my over night stay has nothing to do with the hotel but instead the horribly inconsiderate guests in the next room They literally had a group of people laughing and shouting at 5:00am!!! I mean what is wrong with people??? If I wasn’t up ang leaving for the airport I would have DEFINITELY been banging on their door! MORON’S!!!

Excellent place to stay! Very friendly workers at the front desk They offer you water when you check in, and they are accommodating The room was large and had a comfortable bed

My only complaint would be that the air wouldn’t stay kicked on, and without it, the walls are thin You can hear neighbors and the people in the parking lot very clearly This may have been something that I just couldn’t figure out, so I wouldn’t hold this against them! Breakfast was delicious and fresh

Alyssa Kirkman

Got there later in the night about 8pm and they had availability and even took $10 off my room Front desk was very kind and compassionate when we checked in and when we checked out We were traveling cross country and last minute decided to stay in Albuquerque and there aren’t too many good hotels around, so this one was a really good find

The pool and whirlpool were really great The beds and pillows were so comfortable Had a full breakfast buffet and vending machines I would recommend staying here if you have a last minute stay or even if you’re in town visiting

Karl Henke

This hotel was completely adequate I hope that doesn’t sound disappointing, because it’s not When you’re tired and go to a random hotel, the last thing you want is a surprise, and I’ve had quite a few surprises

The rooms were clean The water and fixtures all worked There were no funny smells The included breakfast was nothing special, but it tasted fine and had a good selection The staff was polite and knowledgableI was not looking for a mind-blowing experience I needed a comfortable, predictable place to sleep at a decent price, and that is exactly what I got

Had an excellent stay here on our first trip to ABQ The neighborhood is awesome – it’s residential but walking distance to several craft breweries and doesn’t have the touristy vibe of old town (although you can walk there in like 15 min if that’s on your list) It’s really centrally located and totally safe

The rooms are very well decorated with local art and prints I felt kind of pampered here, there are a lot of really nice personal touches Jesse was a wonderful host and has done an amazing job of restoring this propertyWe stayed in the Lottie suite and loved having a kitchen and living room

David Divine

We really enjoyed our stay at the Painted Lady The suite was immaculate and plenty of room for my wife and I along with my folks Plenty of nice touches, especially if you’re interested in exploring the beer scene in Albuquerque

Jesse is super friendly and knowledgeable to steer you in the right direction for breweries and/or restaurants The courtyard is comfortable and bright My wife really enjoyed the fire pit We will definitely return

Jennie Garst

We loved, loved, loved our stay in the Lottie suite at the Painted Lady Bed & Brew! Jesse thought of every detail to make a stay at the Painted Lady perfect The suite was beautiful and cozy and beyond our expectations Jesse was such a wonderful host too

We enjoyed talking with him and learning about the area and the Painted Lady We can’t wait to go back and enjoy another stay! Thanks, Jesse!

Justin was awesome at check-in Rarely in my 30+ years of traveling and hotel stays have I encountered such quality service, cheerfulness and undivided attention at check-in Taking my elderly mother on her final cross-country road-trip; we arrived a bit early

Rather than stall or make excuses, Justin went far above and beyond to get us into our room as fast as possible, all while he helped get us familiar with the area I’ve stayed in $1600/night hotels where the service wasn’t this good Well done, Marriott In my book, you’ve got a hero in Justin Oh, and… the room was awesome — slightly on the expensive side, but quite upscale and worth every penny

Jonathan Lacson

Facility was state of the art, everything worked and was nice, and the staff were very attentive and friendly Shoutout to Justin who was very kind and gracious during my 2ish month stay — he deserves a raiseTaking a point off because of the laundry — the dryers did not dry all the way (and before you ask, yes I cleaned the lint traps

) I had to run the dryers twice (which I didn’t appreciate from a cost perspective) or hang up my damp shirts around the room and blast the AC if time was a constraint

John Matranga

Rooms were well-appointed and spacious Decor was nice throughout in the room and in the common areas The greatest “minus” related to the free breakfast

Much of the food for breakfast is off-limits to guests A gatekeeper and physical barriers blocked access from getting juice, cereal, yogurt, bagels, and the like My guess is the purpose was to control room costs related to breakfast, but the effect on guests is to make people wait and feel uncomfortable asking for juice Drop the barriers please and guests will be happier

A beautiful stay! It was quiet and the staff was amazing! I really appreciated the kind words from the breakfast staff I would come back any timeMy only complaint is that my shower drain did not work

I could take maybe five minutes shower before the basin was on the edge of overflowingThe windows were placed a bit strangely directly in front of the toilet and the clear glass shower but I recognize it is a historic building!Again I would absolutely recommend it!

Ashton Alexander

I researched hotels in the area for over a month prior to our trip I wanted clean and safe! Went back and forth between here and a few others So glad I went with Parq Central

I am very picky when it comes to hotels and this one exceeded my expectations Everyone was friendly The rooms were cleaned each day and the hotel bar was great with a beautiful view! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable! Also, the free breakfast was simple, but great for a quick bite! The bathroom was a nice size with a big walk in shower They will shuttle you anywhere within a 3 mile distance free of charge 10 out of 10!!

darla carmello

The restoration of this place from a hospital to a hotel is interesting The rooms were set up very nice and contemporary style The service was great but the continental breakfast served was unusual

The hotel did not have a pool onky hot tub and the rooftop lounge had a great atmosphere and awesome views The hotel location downtown was good in proximity for business but overall the area seems rundown with many homeless nearby and closed restaurants The best part was the paranormal experience, if you like a little spooky stay here!

Was able to check in using the app while on the road so when we came in we were greeted by a nice professional lady at the front desk this evening who was very helpful Straight to our room which was very roomy, CLEAN (and I am very particular about this part, especially these days

and I still sanitize my way), and everything in the room was just how it should be Very nice room, comfy bed, and all around great feel here! Especially after a long day of travel it’s very refreshing! If we weren’t so tired would possibly use some of the nice facilities, restaurant, or even grab a drink at the bar Looking forward to having a full night’s sleep soon! Wanted to go ahead and take a minute to review Would definitely stay again!

Unfortunately we didn’t have the best experience with this hotelWe came here wanting to experience a new area and hotel While it’s close to Uptown Albuquerque, the hotel itself is hidden behind construction and isn’t that great of an area

From the moment we came in, we knew this hotel wouldn’t be as good as we would likeFirstly, they don’t answer the message system within the Hilton app We sent several messages over our stay and never got a responseSecond, the air conditioning units within the rooms are obnoxiously loud and don’t stop running We had to turn ours off to be able to sleepThird, the restaurant will charge you a $4 delivery on food you order even if you order food to go at the restaurant and pick it up yourself We had to ask staff to remove this as it didn’t seem appropriate to charge this if they weren’t delivering anything To be fair, their chicken tenders are really good and freshFourth, the restrooms do not have toilet paper holders Really bizarre for a hotel as you’d expect this in the restroomFifth the showers do not have any soap holder/ledge to keep soap on Again it’s really weird as this is a really basic configuration in hotel showersSixth, the toilets are somehow connected to the sinks Whenever you flush toilets, you can hear it flushing from the sink as well A little weird and unsettlingLast, the gym is really small One cardio equipment of each basic type and a few free weights are in this small room It does connect to a decent pool thoughOverall I don’t think I’d stay here again just due to the list of things that this hotel could greatly improve upon

Stephanie Peterson-Ferrel

The beds are atrocious The bed creaked every time I moved, and it felt like whoever installed the bed didn’t realize box springs and mattresses are different things As to the pillows, I don’t know who wants to have their head flat against the bed while the pillow fluffs on either side of their head, but if you’re into that, GOOD NEWS! You’ll love these pillows! The place is clean, and the staff are fine, provided you don’t care about masking during the pandemic

I mean, you might get COVID, but you’ll get it with a smile! If you’re disabled, please note at this property, Hilton cares more about their Diamond members being able to park than handicapped people, and there are only two designated spots to the side of the hotel at that (Five spots right out front for diamonds members) However, no one enforces compliance unless specifically asked to do so May the parking odds be ever in your favorIt’s right off I-40, but I wouldn’t say it’s conveniently located since it’s kind of weird to get to once you exit the interstate Be prepared to drive in such a way as to irritate other drivers or to make u-turns a couple of timesI’ve stayed in worse places, for sure, but I dang sure didn’t pay nearly $200 to do so

Staff is nice Grounds are cleanThey have daily breakfast, but I wouldn’t recommend it

Their fitness center is small but adequateMy room had a refrigerator and a microwave The showers are equipped with body wash, shampoo and conditioner They have an outdoor fire pit area where I guess you can sun bathe?Overall it doesn’t have very many amenities, but it is very clean and I appreciate that

Peter DeNatale

Although other reviews have mentioned noise issues, I didn’t hear much throughout the night The hotel is next to a hospital so you may hear sirens but there wasn’t much road noise or noise from neighbors aside from that The rooms and lobby were very modern and well-kept

The layout of the bathroom was a little odd but not a huge factor There weren’t too many options for breakfast but better than just cereal The staff at the front desk was friendly but not very personable/engaging Parking in garage is free which was nice to keep my car tucked away Would definitely stay again

Juli Rasmussen

The hotel is newer and nice BUT, the traffic sounds made it impossible to get a good nights sleep 🙁 I was in room 526, so you have nice views, but the highway ruins it with the stress of seeing and hearing cars zooming by

The only dirty thing was the shower floor, not sure why it’s wearing so poorly?! You can see what I mean in the photo The breakfast was probably one of the worst I’ve had in a while – the absolute minimum and nothing packaged that you can take with you The front desk experience was quick, but strange I wasn’t acknowledged as being a Titanium member, not that I care, but I thought it was unusual The two women working weren’t very professional and chatted a lot Not that I mind people enjoying their work environment, but the overall interaction wasn’t great Maybe I’m just tired from not getting enough sleep there 😉

This property is great Reasonable price, great rooms, excellent customer service from Brian at the Registration Desk and the restaurant staff too The room was clean, well maintained, and quiet

There is not much available within walking distance for food or entertainment as I had hoped there would be, so I was bored for the evening The quality, preparation, and service for the food was excellent! pool was very full with other guests and kids which was great for them, but I would have liked to have a live band or musician during the evening Overall a great experience

Avenda Marketplace

We came into town for a weekend getaway this place looked amazing online they really fluff it up With anticipation of a relaxing weekend by the pool we find out after booking that the pool is closed for no particular reason Called Guest services several times to get basic information about places to eat or fresh linen and towels no one answered

They also offer breakfast but it’s an Additional charge I suggest going to FLYING STAR CAFE it was a place I found online and it was amazing I wish they had a hotel I would probably have had a better time Unfortunately Crowne Plaza doesn’t meet its online presence so be forewarned you are just paying for a bed and a shower and a pretty lobby (why they got the 3rd star)

JL DaPilot

Well as far as hotels I would recommend just die to the fact that the housekeeper named Ruby went above and beyond for what ever I needed or my family needed She never hesitated and just because I recommend this their service Excellent when it comes to the rooms Now as for the front desk can get busy but they are very friendly as soon as they greet you you feel welcomed

Try it once won’t be disappointed Two pools are better than one and the view is pretty cool

The ambiance in the lobby is fantastic and has many beautiful features We worked with two different valet attendants during our stay and they were great We called for our car to be brought to the front of the hotel, left our room and headed downstairs, and our car was waiting for us

Super impressive turnaround, less than five minutesRoom decor included these creepy partial faces on the wall The ac did not work as well as we had hoped and it was very hot at night Our room did not have a bathtub, microwave, and the toilet paper was super thin All of the pillows were on the flat side However, the room was clean and the bed was comfy

Emily Feldkamp

This was a unique hotel in an awesome location in downtown Albuquerque The parking situation isn’t ideal, but I used the garage next door with no issue! I got a double room on the 5th floor with excellent mountain views The beds were comfortable and there were a ton of TV channels to browse

I wasn’t a huge fan of the shower – it doesn’t have a door – but other than that the bathrooms are upgraded and very modern! I loved the lobby decor & how they have kept older aspects of the hotel while modernizing aspects of it as well The office space was excellent for getting some work done as wellThere are no coffee makers in the rooms but there is coffee in the lobby every morning that was very good! The biggest downside to this hotel, which is of no fault of theirs, is the traffic noise going all night They do provide ear plugs but since it is an older building the noise really doesn’t get blocked much There is also no fitness center in the hotel, not a deal breaker for me but something to be aware of! Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to check out the restaurant when I’m back as it smelled so yummy every time I went by!

Dhanashree Chaudhari

Lovely hotel! The decor is amazingThe hotel has small cabanas on level 1 with unique decor you can use as a available to just sit and talk with family/friendsThe elevator is stylish too

The bathroom was a bit weird though There was no door to the shower area so the water splashed outside (It was not a accessible room)The ac didn’t work so it was quite hot at night The instructions for thermostat were not very helpful

Great experience during my 2 night stay Staff very friendly and they even applied a discount I didn’t know I qualified for when I checked in Had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and both meals were fantastic

Bed was just right as far as firmness goes My TV stopped working at 9pm and the maintenance guy was in my room in less than 5 minutes to fix it which I really appreciated The location is great, close to the freeway and easy to get around Would absolutely stay here again!

Loretta Rodriguez

This hotel deserves 5/5 stars for the customer service alone! As someone traveling to NM for the first time, I felt well attended to and safe Gillian and Jasmine stood out the most They were all so attentive, suggested nearby restaurants and sight seeing, and one night even sent up a microwave to my room for my dinner

The cleaning staff also do a great job and are very considerate! This is a great stay for newcomers as it’s close to Old Town, great coffee shops, and even has a Starbucks and Burger King across the street The free breakfast was delicious and some of the best I’ve had as it’s made to order! Shuttle bus service is amazing to and from the airport and other nearby attractions The only things that weren’t the best is that the hotel itself is a bit outdated and the pool was still covered even though it’s end of April and weather was in the 70s & 80s Fridge also made a lot of noise at night

Jocelyn Pace

This was a great pet-friendly hotel Very clean, very helpful and knowledgeable desk staff They were super kind with our late arrival due to being stuck on I-40 due to the Sixty Six Fire

My husband and son reported the food was quite good I liked the location, which made it easy to reach historic sites, restaurants, and shopping After a long week on the road, we planned two days here for some downtime It was a lovely place to spend a couple daysI did dislike the prevalence of skunky pot smoke outside the doors closest to our rooms The smell persists well into the hallways It makes it rough for those of us who are allergic Luckily, it doesn’t travel into the rooms, even when folks are smoking directly outside the air unitsMy only room recommendation: room microwaves! We have food allergies and frequently bring things to microwave when traveling I realize this may be a difficult prospect given the age of the hotel–electrical updates are difficult to configure Even a couple lobby microwaves would be helpful

Everyone is an absolute delight even when it comes to needing to switch rooms In valet, Robert is fantastic & extremely kind to your needs, and at the front desk Theresa & Christopher are A++++ in your service needs When it comes to the rest of the resort, the pool is small with part inside & part outside which leaves it quaint & perfect

The hotel is clean and up-to-date even with covid still protocols still in ace for staff but leaves restaurants closed The casino is actually huge with thousands of slot machines, busy tables and a great center bar staff This is a great little getaway or place to stay while in town on business Definitely 2 thumbs up customer service should always be the top item to grade

Burton Rominger

Outstanding service Helpful staff The water jets in the tub went on the fritz and wouldn’t shut off

Maintenance was very quick to respond and fix the issue, as was housekeeping to cleanup after I do recommend requesting a room further away from the elevators as guests are loud and the doors are thin Overall rooms are very well maintained, and very comfortableSeating in the Showroom for concerts is amazing The concessions are quick, restrooms have close and easy access Dining options are limited, however the few that are there have large menus So plan your dietary needs accordingly

blanca ortiz

Clean As in pristine The drawers that you don’t use when traveling, spotless

Although I’ve noticed some damages on the wall- bar hooks or probably handle bars falling off the wall, a clean hotel always tops that The walls are thick enough so you’d be sleeping peacefully Spacious rooms Staff are very welcoming Thank you to Theresa at the front desk for being so informative and helpful, I really appreciate you! I’ll be back to stay longer

Comfortable stay for 4 nights in a king suite Perfect room for two people plus a small dog! It really reminded me of our Wyndham timeshares which are modern and clean It is a safe location as it is tucked away with some other hotels near the airport

Breakfast is amazing with so many choices I will return here The only downfalls were limited washer and dryers with the two dryers not really working properly You can also hear other guests talking in their rooms as you walk down the hall Overall it is very good There were even warm cookies in the lobby one night as we passed through! When I arrived from out of state I was very ill and everyone in the hotel was kind and considerate and checked everyday to see how I was I got to know all these wonderful people who turned into friends from Sabrina behind the desk who was fantastic, to the cooks and the drivers who took us to the stores and even the hospital, especially Mark and StephenThe room was great too and I hated to leave

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy their stay

I stayed here for about 2 months due to a travel assignment and had my two dogs with me towards end of last year Majority of the staff were super kind and helpful and I can’t appreciate the shuttle drivers enough when I had to get a car rental I booked the 1 bedroom queen suite with a conference table and had a huge living space and my dogs and I were quite comfortable and had a small kitchenette

The majority of my stay was good but I did have incidents where my key cards stopped working and had to try 4-5 times at the desk of going back up and downstairs with my dogs after working nightshift just trying to walk them before going to sleep, before a key finally worked Apparently if staying for long periods they need to reprogram the key cards for time periods frequently or they will not workI cleaned the room and space majority of the time because I had housekeeping come once scheduled where I took my dogs out so they didn’t have to worry and left a tip Besides being vacuumed it didn’t seem like anything else was done like nothing wiped down or anything I wish I had not left a tip Super disappointing so just cleaned myself and would exchange linens Place was clean when I got there just the in between seemed lackingIf working nights just be aware someone does vacuum in the afternoon almost everyday and does hit your door often while doing so, so if light sleeper will wake you upThe only other thing that occurred was even after I left they had me down for reservation for separate timeframe and ended up charging me and I had to call to have reimbursed due it all supposed to be checked out earlier and shouldn’t be reserved for any other times I had some irritations that happened while there and my last straw to find different housing for last month I was in area for work was due to the keycard incident but overall it was a clean place and welcomed my dogs and me and just did monthly pet fee A lot of other people stayed there for longer term for work and if working during the day it probably would’ve been a much better experience when it came to sleeping and suchAlso as others mentioned water pressure is lacking I was on 4th floor and it was lame and breakfast wise was okay I didn’t get it often but would sometimes and they had some warm things and some cold options On a bright note the freezer has its own ice maker so that was nice and there is a small dishwasher The kitchenette sink is lacking size wise but does have a garbage disposal and there are two cook tops and pots and pans and basics to live with

We had not planned to stay at this hotel but after staying at another Heritage Hotel it was top on our list when we found that our return flight home was canceled I booked online very early since the reservation center was not open at that hour in the morning (5 am) I had remembered seeing the hotel previewed on the heritage channel during our stay at The Inn and Spa at Loretto earlier that week

Once we obtained our rental car and had some coffee we contacted the hotel and asked if we could drop off our luggage since there were a lot of alerts about car break ins at a lot of tourist locations We were told that we could absolutely do that and to come right over The valet attendant James took care of our luggage quickly and efficiently We returned to the hotel around 2 pm to see if we would be able to check in early Sarah at the desk was very kind and welcoming while briefly listening to our plight She got us checked in early with swiftness and efficiency The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable with every convenience we would need Everyone was so kind, helpful, and welcoming even the hotel security Michelle who brushed the snow off our rental Absolutely loved this hotel and can’t wait to go back

Excellent and wonderful hotel! I really love the Indian style artworks and the details of every furniture and decoration in the hotel and the rooms Very nice pool, and the parking space is right in front of the lobby door Also, there is a food market across a street

It’s really convenient to grab the food I’d love to stay at this hotel again!

Cannot speak highly enough of our stay The service was impeccable, from the included valet, front desk and wine bar Our room was very clean and thoughtfully designed – including USB ports in sensible places for charging, beautiful robes and 4 large towels (those with long hair will appreciate having enough towels for body and head!) would absolutely stay here again!

Incredible charm at a great price! These renovated 1930’s artist apartments are super cozy and quaint We stayed in the”Ivy Cottage ” We had a working fireplace that they stocked with wood and had a private patio where we ate our dinner from a wonderful restaurant they recommended

Emily checked us in and showed us to our room personally We could not have been happier with her! Breakfast next morning was yummy as well and the breakfast room overlooked the adorable grounds! Wished I had been staying more than 1 night!

This is not your standard hotel It has so much character in the Casita It is not a new building

I’m guessing 1940s or 1950s? So the quirks of the building are expected, but the fireplace, large living room, cute setting, walk ability to old town and the aquarium made it a wonderful stay Extra friendly hotel staff and a breakfast that is delicious and more enjoyable Ice machine is in a turquoise box on the edge of funky cool gardens Each Casita seems different (I didn’t go in them) Check the bathroom features, our cottage had 15 baths and 2 bedrooms which was great, but no shower stall, instead a jetted tub and hand held nozzle which worked fine, but would have been a bit easier with a holder and shower curtain I would stay there again in a heartbeat because I enjoyed the fireplace so muchrefreshed firewood every day was a nice touch! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

While it certainly isn’t pristine, it is extremely charming It feels like stepping back in time in some ways I love the unique style and background of the hotel

It is a historic building and they have worked hard to keep it functioning with the times, but the buildings weren’t built with A/C systems in mind, so set expectations accordingly It was spacious and felt very safe The gardens are beautiful and the staff was wonderful I adore all of the unique structures and art I absolutely would go there again, it was actually my mom’s second time there Please consider this wonderful little business if you are in the area

I loved our stay here!!!! My family and I had wanted a little get away here in Albuquerque we had reservations at another hotel, when we went to check in the pool was under construction we were so disappointed I called so many hotels everyone was full Time was taken off work and the kids were so sad they were looking forward to this weekend

I called and spoke to Cheyenne she made our weekend helped us get one of her last rooms available considering there was a tournament renting rooms Well as I walk in to check in this woman had the best customer service she smiles as all the guests are walking in and she is definitely a face and personality for a company She was encouraging a little boy to his positive behaviors on helping his mom bring in all there stuff I think that is amazing! My husband and I were talking considering we both have been in management I see all the good work ethics she has I needed toilet paper and wanted a couple of pillows Cheyenne had 3 or 4 sets of families checking in as well as myself needing something She handled it well she stayed smiling and treated all of us with respect offered water and helped us a ll in a timely manner as well as multitask to get it all done I will definitely stay here again thank you Cheyenne

From the time we checked in The Staff was Courteous and Helpful You felt like they Actually wanted to help The music was good, too bad it was only until 8pm

The rooms were nice and clean, the restaurants were tasty and the beer was cold Parking is a little scarce, but other than that, Come and Enjoy The Mexican restaurant across the street was Delicious The Bagel shop on the property was good The Staff at the “Sister” Property bar The Monterrey, were Rude but the Staff at El Vado made up for it The pool was Very clean and there were quite a few Adults and Children enjoying it😃 It was a hidden gem that’s for sure

Roger Swygart

The staff was very friendly and helpful The room was clean and well designed The whole place has great atmosphere full with a central lounging area with a food pod on the street and shops around the outside of the building

Easy to walk to historic downtown from your room You can’t go wrong choosing El Vado I’ve already recommended it to friends and will make it my stay next time I am in Albuquerque

Route 66 experience here at El Vado was just fantastic This is a very nicely rennovated relic of a great part of American history The staff here were very helpful and kind

Great hotel! We stayed in Room 456 and it was perfect for our family of 4 to spread out and have plenty of room The hotel itself is very well kept and clean The bed was the perfect firmness that did not have the spots worn in from numerous people sleeping on it

There is not continental breakfast but we knew this ahead of time and it was not an issue for us It is within walking distance of many great restaurants downtown Several reviews mention the homeless population but in out experience it is not any bigger than other big cities We would definitely stay here again

Joe Schweighofer

Great, new hotel in downtown Within walking distance to restaurants, but also has it’s own restaurant within the hotel The staff is excellent every time I stay here

Gym facilities are great and better than you find at most hotels Front desk even assisted me with getting some laundry detergent to wash a load of clothes Only knock is the parking here – while it’s free, it’s tight spaces and they fill up quickly Not many options to park Beds are on the firm to very firm side, but that’s expected these days I suppose Water pressure in the shower was great and didn’t hear much noise from outside during the night

Todd Pease

Room was not fully cleaned, used soap and towels in bathroom Very limited parking space No breakfast or anything, as Diamond member can get a $10 meal credit but you can not get breakfast or an evening drink for $10

They will not allow you to carry over the credit if you don’t spend it every nightEmbassy Suites is older but larger rooms evening social with drinks and snacks and includes made to order breakfast Better deal
