Shout out to Michelle at Vesta expertly slinging drinks and food to everyone We were happy to burn our food credits on delicious brick oven pizza and hang out by the fire in the courtyard The housekeeping staff was great tending to requests from our party of seven in adjacent rooms (a great perk with napping babies)

Everyone loved the saltwater pool and the location is very convenient Other great interactions with Matt and Jared at the front desk We would definitely stay here again

The staff at this Hotel is terrible They are rude and poorly trained You must ask for your $400 a night room to be cleaned

I travel frequently and was staying here for a funeral and wanted my bathroom and bedroom cleaned with fresh towels I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A NEGATIVE REVIEW ON GOOGLE BEFORE When I arrived back mid day the room was not cleaned When I alerted the front desk I got a curt response that they would send some towels and that “they would see if they could get to it” I told them about the funeral When we got back to our room hours later the room still had not been taken care of When I called the front desk to complain the young man offered no apology and actually hung up on me! I have never experience anything like it in 40 years of travel When I went to speak to him he said ” he was not responsible for listening to angry complaints” WOW! what a great staff DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL IT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE BEACHES THERE ARE OTHER GREAT BED AND BREAKFASTS AND HOTELS IN THE AREA THAT WERE BOOKED THAT WE WOULD HAVE USED BUT FOR THE UNTIMELY DEATHPS> I was supposed to receive a call from the manager about “Joey” who hung up on me–no call ever came

This is an easy review to write because we can only say glowing things about the SeaShell Motel, By the Sea Suites & Guesthouse, and the English Garden We booked each of these places (located within feet of one another) for our wedding weekend We also had our entire wedding party do the same, and let me tell you, we had the ABSOLUTE BEST WEEKEND

From the Friday night bonfire/pizza party on the beach to the goodbye breakfast on Monday, Erin and her team did everything that they possibly could to make our weekend so special They worked around the clock to ensure that our experience was superb- and it was Their oceanfront view is breathtaking, their family friendly private beach is so welcoming, and their food is absolutely outstanding We challenge you to find a better combination on Cape Cod for a better price – you can’t This trio is the real deal and the best kept secret on Cape Cod Some of the best memories (and photos) that we will treasure for the rest of our lives occurred on their special beachfront property Erin and her team are part of our family now – and we can’t wait to bring our kids back for summers on Chase Ave!

My husband and I stayed here during Memorial Day weekend I’ve been wanting to leave a review since then since we loved it and finally getting around to it Although the weather that weekend was cold and rainy, we loved our stay

The bed & breakfast was very cute and quaint, the rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, and the location was nice and quiet We also particularly loved the breakfast! We stayed there for two nights so we had breakfast twice and it was different each time and delicious! We loved that they made our breakfast to order and that it wasn’t buffet style Our server was also very friendly Overall a very enjoyable stay despite the weather!

Bonnie Goulet

The family owns and operates a few places in the neighborhood and they are all very nice too The private beach with chairs, umbrellas and bathroom is less than half a block away! The immaculate, pretty rooms with balconies, COMFORTABLE BEDS, great staff and Amazing made to order Breakfast are why we extended our stay and will be going back!!!

Had a really great stay with my kids I love that you can use the amenities at the nearby RJ resorts as well We spent a week here with the only complaint being there was no microwave in the room

Staff was friendly, food was great, everything was clean, and it was not overcrowded Will stay again! Gabriel and Antonio(in Jonah’s pub) were awesome!

R DL Reyes

Excellent resort and very friendly staff Two pools, indoor and outdoor plus a private beachfront and beach chairs Overall a well maintained resort

Only negative is the very narrow parking spaces They just haven’t kept up with the times that cars are being made wider

Donna Troiano

I can’t rate the resort because I wasn’t able to stay They say it’s pet friendly, so I booked a great ocean front room I have official Emotional Service Support documents for my cat, but was told when I called to confirm, that they don’t honor them

Got charged a cancellation fee which I feel should be waived since they turned me away and lie about being pet friendly

This was a cute place My room was clean and had 2 windows I could open to get a nice breeze in the room They had beach chairs and umbrellas

It wasn’t busy so it was quiet just what I was looking for Breakfast was served in the morning and the girls who made and served my breakfast were very nice This is exactly what I was looking for, a relaxing getaway from it all!

Shane Sherrod

The building was really nice and it was a perfect location as it has a private beach That’s all the good things I can really say about this place The first morning we came down early for breakfast because we had booked a seat on the whale watching boat

The staff told me that they were going to cook eggs, sausage and fruit for breakfast but they had to send someone to the store for eggs and sausage After 55 minutes we still didn’t get our breakfast and had to leave so we wouldn’t miss our whale watching cruise The next morning I was hoping they would have learned from their bad planning and mistakes and it would be better after all everyone makes mistakes That morning the staff said they were making pancakes and fruit for breakfast After 45 minutes we still didn’t have our food and decided to just leave There was only 3 couples there so they were not really busy The WiFi was really bad on the days it actually worked If you get back late from exploring you may not get a parking spot When we got to the room the air conditioner didn’t work that well so I checked the filter and it had a thick layer of previous guests I pulled the filter and cleaned it in the shower let it dry and reinstalled it It worked a lot better after that That’s how our week went at By the sea

A Perfect Family Vacation! We love coming back to a cottage just step across the lawn to power soft sand beach Families return year after year to wonderful cluster of cottages where kids can run free and make new friends and catch up with old onesThere are many grills and tables out on the lawn between the units

Old Cape Cod Cottages spread out where each is unique in size shape and view but authentic to the Cape Experience Most families gather on the beach during the day and converse around the grills in the evenings Finally settle back in the recliners on the bluff over looking Nantucket Sound as the sun sets to the WestWe drive 12 hours to get our souls rejuvenated each year during our stay at Seaside Cottages and hope to see our friends again next year

Yuliia Trofimova

We stayed at Seaside Cottages for Memorial Day weekend and I have plenty to sayOn the good side: the location and overall concept are marvelous You get to live in a cute nautical themed cottage, surrounded by greenery, flowers and birds singing

You also have access to private beach, beachside lounge chairs, picnic tables and barbecue area The management was very accommodating and let us book two nights while their standard policy is 3 nights minimum They also seem pretty responsive to any issues or requests raisedOn the problematic side: The electric stove in our cottage did not work We also had issues with hairdryers (we had two in the cottage and none worked) and a power socket in the bathroomLastly, couple heads-ups to future visitors: It took us a while to get hot water running – like 10 minutes or so The cottages do not provide any toiletries but soap I always rely on hotel provided shampoo / conditioner and wish I knew in advance they provide none The kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans and silverware, but no bottled water, coffee or tea Lastly, our cottage, the Lighthouse (number 39), had a fireplace, but they only allow burning paper logs there, which took me a while to find With these peculiarities, it would be great if Seaside Cottages had their own little store to help stock up with the missing necessities

The Beach House has been our ‘home from home’ for so many years on the Cape Cannot recommend it enough Always welcoming, clean, and something of a hideaway at the end of South St

We can’t wait to come back again some-time to renew our acquaintance It helps that the Skipper is walking distance, my favourite fish restaurant outside the UK

The Pet Friendly Hampton Inn & Suites is a solid choice for families traveling with their pet The Hotel is clean, comfortable, and welcoming It also provides a complimentary hot breakfast in the morning and fresh baked cookies in the evening

What more can you ask?The only downside is exiting the hotel on route 28 It can be challenging with cars speeding by on both directions with no traffic light

Jessica Miller

After having a bad experience at another hotel close by and traveling over 5 hours, we walked into the Hampton Inn & Suites to be greeted so kindly from Elissa She went above and beyond to make us feel relieved, and helped us book a 3 night stay very last minute The hotel staff was wonderful and willing to help us feel welcome! The room was very clean and the stay was quiet and comfortable

Sarah Soller

Super friendly staff and excellent amenities They were really sweet and accomodating to us, especially my six-year old daughter We alsp loved making s’mores by the pool and the grilled pineapple! Clean rooms, loved the available toiletries if you forget anything, and thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic breakfast buffet and unlimited coffee refills! Also, what a great location to get to restaurants and the downtown Hyannis Main Street area

Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay here this weekend We had an oceanfront king and wow – truly oceanfront! Could walk right out to the beach The bed was very comfortable and while the room was a little dated, everything was functional

Food onsite was delicious, as were the bar drinks Resort staff was super friendly and helpful We will be back!

Lee Kyler

Family of 5:Pros:- Excellent location, close to just about everything, including Skippers, the best seafood meal I’ve ever had;- My kids loved the pool (they’re young and don’t know better);- All the staff were super friendly!Cons:- The price is not at all commensurate with the quality;- The bathtub did not drain;- My feet were dark after walking on the carpet in the room, which was very small;- The air conditioner was dusty and I could not adjust the thermostat;- The furnishings were old and out dated;- The room smelled and felt dirty;- The pool, while nice, was way too crowded and very dirtyOverall, for the $400/night we paid, I would not ever stay here again I would put it into an AirBNB

MiKayla Thomas

This place was a last minute booking on a weekday in order to extend our Cape vacation one more day We got lost trying to find it amongst the strand of RJ properties, but found it eventuallyThe room was clean but definitely dated and not a luxury resort by any means

Bed was okay, could be better could be worse Absolutely LOVED waking up and being able to walk right out of the room and onto the beach I got up early and slept on the chair by the beach and just listened to the waves, it was so peaceful By 9 am there were so many families with loud children I had to get up and leave It’s fine if that’s what you’re looking for, but just be warned! I can’t imagine how busy and crowded it gets on weekends/warmer summer days

It’s a lovely location The views of the ocean are spectacular! And the room is nicely appointed The people who run the place are very friendly and accomodating

My one complaint is the noise level of neighboring rooms The people next door could be heard quite clearly through the walls Even with earplugs I could hear them I’m a light sleeper and love my peace and quiet

Jessica Chandler

We only stayed one night so probably didn’t get the full experience but the room was great It was comfortable and clean I really liked the breakfast nook in the room and the sliding doors that separate the bedroom from the living room

Only con was that the bathroom was small and hardly had any counterspace which would really only be a big deal for multiple-night stays

Megan Dykstra

After checking into another hotel and finding it absolutely disgusting (I will not be naming this hotel), my mother and I frantically called Ocean Club to see if they had availability Linda answered the phone and was absolutely amazing She sympathized with our situation and invited us to come to the hotel and look at 2 different rooms to see which one we wanted

The rooms were beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and spacious Ocean Club has forever customers out of our entire family from now on!

We had a nice experience at the Pelham House restaurant The atmosphere was fun and chic There was live music, curling downstairs, and everyone seemed to be having a great time

We sat at the rooftop deck and were seated a little before sundown, so the view was spectacularThe wait staff was attentive and friendly Our entire party enjoyed the foodThe only bad part of the evening was that it was quite cold where we were seated on the rooftop deck They had the heat lamps going and most of the other customers seemed to be comfortable I don’t know if we just had bad luck and were seated in the corner that didn’t get heat It got quite drafty by the window that I ended up putting my coat onOverall, it was a good experience, but I was disappointed that the heat wasn’t evenly distributed throughout the deck It’s a bit of an oversight considering the prices that we paid

Shannon Paul

Went for a one night getaway with my husband The hotel is perfect! I loved reading my book and having my morning tea on the deck hearing the ocean The fire pits were so nice to have an evening drink next to

The whole place is clean and the rooms are very good size The pool was heated and even though it was cold out, we wish we brought our bathing suits to take a swim! Only reason I didn’t give five stars is because the girl at the front desk was not pleasant at all and they said they would be having live music and we were looking forward to that but that didn’t happen We will definitely be back!

Rachel Diehl

Kelsey and the whole team at Pelham were absolutely amazing to work with for my wedding (plus the gorgeous hotel and venue are a huge plus)! Though a little pricey, honestly worth it They were so attentive and extremely well-staffed all weekend Anything I asked for got done quickly and Kelsey even made sure I had plates of food while I was socializing

Plus, the best part is having all your guests stay in one place since they are most likely from out of town – makes traveling to the wedding easy when it’s right next to your hotel!

We recently held a family reunion at Red Jacket Beach Resort and I cannot say enough about our time! Our group was 33 people, ranging in age from 1-78, coming the West Coast, Midwest and MA, and we had the best time! The property had so much to offer for everyone; the pools were great, direct access to a huge private beach with a jetty and beach volleyball, bikes for exploring nearby and so much more The rooms good sized, and while a little dated (which you’d expect), were well appointed and very clean The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful, the cleaning staff were thorough and kind, and the food and beverage staff were amazing! Food and Beverage manager Karen Rood and her team went above and beyond to accommodate us, and everyone was beyond impressed

I’m so thankful to Karen for all her hard work and planning/communication she did with me to coordinate  With a group our size, dining can be tough, but she arranged a wonderful private clambake for us, and everyone enjoyed the daily breakfasts (honestly one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever come across!) The poolside grill, bars, and online ordering from the kitchen – with delivery to anywhere you were on the resort- were awesome, and the staff was so friendly and hard working We were all really impressed and happy with everything and everyone at Red Jacket Beach Resort, and will definitely be back!

Stayed for a couple of nights in July and had an amazing time I read a bunch of the 1 and 2 star reviews and if you had such a problem with this place to leave a review like that you have to re-evaluate what you’re doing in life The huge staff was very friendly and always said hi or held a door for you

The breakfast buffet was well worth the package price The family room we got was really nice having the separate rooms Everything was clean The facilities were great 2 outdoor pools with a beach bar and an indoor pool The landscaping is impeccable Multiple activities for the kids every day like kite making, fishing derby, crafts, etc Free towels on the beach and the staff even comes out and sets up umbrellas for you! The location is great Not a thing to complain about unless you’re someone who goes looking for things to complain about

Josh Smith

Let’s start with pricing, this resort is way to overpriced for what you expect! The rooms are okay But not worth $400 a night! At the front desk there was a lack of information given to us about the resort and things around it etcThe service despite lack of info was great! The staff was kind and even held doors as well as helped

That is really all Staff is great! The location I would say is good for a beach resort The beach is amazing (despite the wind shooting little sand bullets at you which is out of their control I am aware)For the food I would recommend going to a local restaurant since there is a few The food is not as authentic as advertised In total I give this resort a 35/5 Good resort but to a certain point if you get what I mean Would a recommend ? 50/50

Place is beautiful But I would not stay here nor recommend it for anyone if it has the same ownersI think they were short staffed in Aug 2021 and we even felt sorry for the old owners and would bring our used plates back to the kitchen to help

The gentleman was rude and overbearing Very grumpy and it was scary to face him in the morning to give our breakfast order He even made my family of 4 get up in the middle of our breakfast as they had assigned the table to a bigger family We would have finished in 5 mins but he was plain domineering and foul tempered We celebrated a milestone occasion there but were not even wished! For that kind of money you could easily get a better place and definitely better hosts!

It was my husbands and I’s first time in Cape Cod and the Inn was the perfect place to stay in We usually stay at commercial hotels but we found this place online and I thought it looks too charming not to book It really was! Such a cute Inn with beautiful , all American New England Style interior

Apart from that , the service was Stellar Every morning Helen and Mike (the owners) greeted us in the morning and made us breakfast Their breakfast is really really good I also noticed they thought of everything Contact less check in during COVID was very easy It seems like Helen and Mike thought of everything because you get in your room , there are instructions to everything How to turn on the AC, that you control How to use the remotes on the TV The TV has about every network How to use WiFi instructions were provided and also a full list of restaurants , misc places , attractions , and directions to each I also liked that we were provided with water daily and also provided with fresh towels They really have a great contactless system going here Fresh towels were left outside our door with a bin As a woman, I appreciated the little paper bag in the bathroom with a sign that says “please be kind to our septic team” Instead of just saying “don’t throw feminine products down the toilet” you are also given an extra paper bag to throw away your products Also Helen and Mike are very responsive I contacted them twice on my stay and they got back to me same day with answers to my questions They are very personable and funny I purchased the wine and flower package for our anniversary and it was delivered at jus the perfect time I can go on and on highly recommend Thanks Helen and Mike for an amazing stay

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, well maintained, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful Our room was spacious and clean We enjoyed the little library; drank hot chocolate and played board games one afternoon when the weather wasn’t ideal

The fire pit at night was very nice and the view of the harbor is beautiful We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

My husband and I have stayed here three times over the past year, after finding it inearly 2021 as a pandemic getaway (their cleaning procedures made us feel very safe)What we didn’t know that first time is that we would become obsessed with this place It’s our perfect staycation lodging for a weekend to unplug and stare at the ocean

Rooms are clean and beds are comfy Mini-fridges mean we can bring snacks and drinks Beautiful views Lots of restaurants and takeout options in walking distance Lovely fireplace in the library Fire pit outside for warmer months…And the staff! We love the staff, especially Sandy and Janet The two of them always make us feel at home Sandy is the best and took excellent care of us on our last visit, which was super appreciated because I was 9 months pregnant (I had my son 3 days after checking out)Overall, I’d give this place ten stars if I could It’s under new ownership so I hope they don’t change too much

I visited for a wedding I was photographing in early June and I left completely sold on not just the Inn but the cape as a hold as it was my first visit to the area Lighthouse Inn is open and spacious and feel beautifully maintained from another era without lacking integrity Outdoors is where it shines for sure, right in the beach and coast to both sides as far as you can walk

The sunsets are also incredible Very much looking forward to another trip some time

We have not been here for many a year We celebrated our honeymoon there in 1968 (almost 54 years) and came back for our 25th The Stone family ran the Inn back then and as newlyweds, we were treated like royalty

We were probably the same age as a lot of the staff so that made it nice I am glad to read the recent reviews and to see how well it has continued its excellence May God Bless You

Lighthouse Inn was overall a great venue to host a wedding weekend We would do it again! What really made our weekend memorable was being able to have all of our guests stay onsite This allowed us to enjoy the grounds and spend time with our loved ones; we brought our own games in addition to what was provided by the Lighthouse Inn

The pool and beach were a huge hit for our guests It felt like a vacation with the side of a wedding, which is exactly what we wanted – not to mention, the food all weekend (rehearsal and reception) was outstanding!Reviews about different aspects belowRoomsTiana was outstanding! She was super accommodating, patient, and understanding as we had multiple room changes (especially getting close to the wedding due to COVID) The changes at times were complicated but she seamlessly updated the reservations The accommodations were great from houses to cottages to individual rooms The venue made sure to put our welcome bags in each room and if there was a problem, they responded promptlyPlanningBill & Carri were amazing! They were so sweet and helpful guiding us through the wedding planning process We were able to meet with them on several occasions in person and over the phone Coming from out of state, they truly made the process smooth and alleviated our stressesRehearsalCarri was great during the rehearsal; we had quite a few people to organize and she helped us rehearse quick! We had our rehearsal drinks and dinner at Lighthouse Inn and she wanted to make sure myself and my husband were able to get to the fun as quick as possible We did stations for the rehearsal and the food was fantastic!Day ofCarri helped make sure guests found their seats at the same time as coordinating the groomsmen and bridal party She was fantastic The day before the wedding, we gave her all of our décor with instructions on where it should be placed and everything was exactly where it needed to be! The ceremony went smooth and quick, like we wantedA minor issue we faced was moving from the downstairs to the upstairs and back down again during various parts of the night We knew this going into the wedding, so Lighthouse Inn isn’t at fault As well, the upstairs room was on the warmer side; it didn’t help there was no breeze that night!

Pros: Location is great Located right on the water /beach Beautiful scenery

Rooms clean and cute, they have recently been renovated Big common lawn to let your kids run crazy Decent pool Parking Cons: Gym closed , very annoying as my husband I I picked this hotel with that in mind, we need a gym Absolutely no sound proof in rooms I could hear babies crying at allHours of the day, dresser drawers shutting in room over and next room conversations And everything happening outside on the common lawn Walls are paper thin No service, you have to call to have trash emptied Fresh towels , tpee etc But they are good about bringing it Overall nice place, not a “resort” but very simple cute cape cod Just loud and no gym

The unit was spacious and clean Nice patio on the first floor that was very close to the beach Staff friendly and quick to attend to our needs

The gas fireplace was a plus I look forward to coming back here when the weather warms up I only wish the second bedroom had something other than twin beds Not ideal for additional couples traveling together because of the sleeping arrangements

Jenn Stephens

Person at check in was standing offish I had to ask the questions that most places go over with a guest when u check in and I felt that I was bothering her with my questions The entrance to the room was thru the bedroom and being winter we were tracking in salt and dirt

They should have supplied a rug or something Location was nice right along the water Not sure if I’d go backagain

I’m torn about how to review this I needed a vacation, but am currently on a cane so I knew the pool would work for me Took my 73yo aunt, who loves the ocean so that was her preference

Location and accessibility for both of us – check! Check-in was fine, nice gentlemen Tight parking lot, my spot was next to the large piles of towels going to the laundromat – kind of an eyesore, as were the open/smelly dumpsters (also while sitting in my car waiting for my spot while the laundry guy did a pick-up, he came within inches of hitting my car backing up to get out of the tight parking lot) First night, went out to common area/courtyard to listen to the live music – what a great perk – but the seating is catered to the neighboring restaurant-goers, NOT the hotel guests Must have a reservation and order food/drinks in order to sit in that area to listen to music I paid almost $1000 for a 3-night stay, and we couldn’t even sit in the nice courtyard (didn’t know we needed reservations)felt like quite the outcast! Room was clean, super-spotty wifi when you could get it I did have an issue with the light in the room the first night, they came quickly and rectified it Pool is small (looks bigger in the picture), but it is heated which is a nice perk; unfortunately only 13 chaises around it, certainly not enough to accommodate even a third of the hotel guests Available breakfast items at the cafe were fruit and $5 muffins; they clearly catered to the evening courtyard crowd with a larger menu Employees were polite Bathroom is tiny, and toilet was low enough for toddlers (not great for us older folks lol) Not being able to join the large courtyard group without spending a ton of money was extremely disappointing, considering what I spent to be a guest The non-hotel guests wreaked of money and privilege – a bit uncomfortable, as we were obviously too casual (isn’t that how vacation works??) – lots of designer clothes on adults as well as children Will not return or recommend

We just got back an hour ago This resort was recommended from my brother who has been a few times We absolutely loved it! Rooms were so clean

View was amazing (had oceanfront) Nice that beach chairs were provided Beach was clean Great for families or couples Enjoyed some drinks at the Tiki Bar and was amazing to be able to sit on the beach at night And no one is ever is your parking spot We left for a quick breakfast and by the time we were back the room had already been cleaned We will Definately be back I miss it already!

Michael balzotti

We had a room block for our Wedding at the Three Seasons and it was amazing! The rooms, view, and courtyard area worked out perfectly Tom was so helpful through the whole process and made everything so easy The hotel is located around a lot of attractions, so it was great for people not familiar with the area

I would highly recommend the Three Seasons for a weekend getaway or a room block!
