The Neeley’s

The room was clean Beds were comfortable The young girl was very nice when we checked in

The problem was the breakfast the next morning The food itself was good There was a baseball team taking up the entire breakfast seating area They were not eating They were holding a church service This went on for at least 25 minutes They man at the front desk was very aware of it So they had good food but we had to take our food back and eat on the beds Not ideal for 4 young kids to do They should have been asked to move to a conference room so they didn’t inconvience the other guests staying a t the hotel

Lori Mckenzie

Wasn’t bad the positives were very friendly staff, pet friendly, good wifi however had to keep reconnecting, clean hotel and room, loved the Direct TV with good channel lineup (however this kept going in and out), comfy beds , good AC ,also right by pool which concerned me at first due to how noisy pools get but I never heard anything

Now for negatives- water in room would never get super hot, warm at best, this is an issue as I like very hot showers, broken chair at table which I did let staff know about when I noticed it later that day after check in, had very noisy neighbors above us one night which was not hotels fault and they did say something to them after I called and complained twice and they finally calmed down, the first day breakfast was great with bacon, however the rest of our stay they never had bacon only sausage and we are not sausage eaters Did drink the coffee though and juice All in all not a bad hotel I prob would not stay again though For the price, I think it could have been a little better

Katie Ferrari Backa (Fish Like A Kat)

We stopped in for a night on our way from Texas to a kayak bass fishing tournament in Pennsylvania, and the service was fantastic! The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and quiet, and breakfast was great to grab and go We haul our kayaks on a trailer, and there was plenty of room to park in the parking lot, and there’s plenty of cameras running on the parking lot for them to keep an eye on thingsWe’ll definitely stay here again on our way through town!

We highly enjoyed our stay here Modern, updated look inside and out Room was awesome, comfortable bed, everything was clean, staff was nice and helpful, easy check in and out, great way to start our vacation

Breakfast isn’t the worlds best, but it was definitely something nice to start the day with I saw some reviews about people breaking into cars, but we didn’t experience this The location seems very safe and secure, and when we pulled in the Police were sitting there on patrol Not sure about the others, but we thought it was very safe and in a nice part of town We will be back

Sharde

This room was perfect for my situation I was staying by myself in a King Suite, but hosting my younger sisters and Dad who were able to eat comfortably and enjoy the pool The service was great and the front desk person was friendly and helpful

The bed was super comfy and I appreciated the alternative lighting choices in the bathroom I was so happy I asked to extend my stay, but was unable to due to full booking

Alley

Everyone was absolutely so nice and they actually took the time out to say hi to you and make you feel welcome Even the housekeepers were so nice and would say hi I feel that most hotels aren’t this nice and this welcoming

The rooms were also super nice and clean They had a nice size fridge and even had the best continental breakfast I’ve ever had Definitely will be back!

I chose this hotel because it was conveniently located between Bowling Green, Kentucky and Nashville, Tennessee which allowed me to visited the Corvette Museum and the sites in Nashville without packing up and moving every day I made my reservations online using the Choice Hotels Website Upon arriving at the Hotel, I was informed by the front desk clerk that the computer system was not working properly, and they he would have to check me in later

In order to do that he would need to make a copy of both my credit card and driver’s license This procedure was a little concerning to me in the age of identity theft I chose to wait and walked to the nearby Cracker Barrel for Supper When I returned, I was able to check-in as normal and without further issue My room was clean and well attended The bed large and comfortable I don’t really care for the pillows used at Choice Properties but that is apparently a corporate decision and a decision that is made by the individual franchise This hotel offers only a grab and go breakfast and I chose to pass on it opting to have breakfast at the Cracker Barrel This hotel is obviously understaffed, as is many businesses, with employees performing multiple jobs through out the day The parking lot is large and well lit There is a Cracker Barrel that is in walking distance of this hotel as well as several other restaurant located nearby Other than being short staffed and the Computer Issues at the beginning of my stay this hotel was clean and comfortable It adequately met my needs and expectation

Tiffanie Greene

We came in as a group for a boys baseball tournament, and the general mgr was working the desk He closed the pool early each day we stayed citing he didn’t want his water to get dirty so the kids didn’t get to swim This was an amenity that each family specifically paid over 200$ a night for too

The air conditioners were locked in every room so they could not be set lower or cool on high, it was 100+ degrees all weekend The building itself was nice and clean but 10/10 would not recommend

David McWhorter

We are moving from OK to KY, and I stopped just north of Nashville to break the trip into two parts There are several hotels around Comfort Inn, including one I stayed in previously, Holiday Inn Express Comfort Inn was super clean, and everything in the room was functional

The staff was courteous and respectful The fitness center was sufficient for cardio and resistance training, and the breakfast options were comprehensive If the preceding criteria are essential to you, I think you will be more than satisfied with the Comfort Inn in White House, TN

Check in was easy Room was nice, clean and roomy Staff called the room to check with us after we settled in to be sure everything was OK and adequate

Breakfast area was clean and goodWe just stopped for an overnight but would stay here again

BED BUGS 4/4/2022 Stayed here and woke up at 2am to bed bugs and bites all over me Front office refused to do anything except refund my night

Told me I could either stay in the room or go somewhere else Wouldn’t even give me a change of sheets or anything Absolutely horrific service and experience No response from management or anythingCorporate made sure let all employees know this hotel is now off limits I’d encourage you to do the same Be safe

Cass Ervin

Was not horrible for a one night stay but not a fan! Upon check- in, front desk was not very courteous

She seemed rather agitated for no reason pertaining to us She seemingly picked up on my conversation that I want feeling the greatest & offered us to take a 2 queen room downstairs vs having to hike upstairs to a king which was niceThe room was mediocre, not the cleanest but tolerable until we found the bloody comforter Luckily, my husband is way more chill than me because we would’ve changed rooms The room had a must odor to it & the ac could not cool the room Thank goodness we travel with a portable fan! There’s also a good reason we don’t walk around hotel rooms barefooted dingy, dirty carpet “feeling” We took a shower & I was reluctant The ceiling was moldy & had water damage that had been painted over, the tub drained slowlyBreakfast left A LOT to be desired We’ll just leave it at thatHousekeeping had a language barrier, which is not a problem, but when they knock & try to enter another person walks by & does a knob check, then a you exit the room you’re bum-rushed by the same two people to clean your room not cool! We felt so rushed, I left my two sealed Starbucks coffees in the dang fridgegggrrr!!It’s the little things, too!! Won’t start again

I would stay here again! The best part about this hotel is the manager, Gary!! He was so nice, funny, and great to talk to I could tell he really loves his job and cares about the property My room was very clean throughout

The bed was clean & comfy They have a great variety of channels on the large screen TV The location is also a plus You’re surrounded by places to eat & gas stations and not far from the highway The only bad part was how the housekeepers kept letting the doors slam against the locks when they were going in and out of the rooms on Sunday morning I was trying to sleep in closer to 11am but with all that ratchet it was impossible

Karen Reedy

Room was nice and they were extremely accommodating, giving us a corner room on the top floor with an odd bonus little sitting area Very kind even at 130am check in after a delayed flight Beds were comfy and I’m giving serious thought to stealing the pillows

Breakfast on Friday morning left much to be desired though Nothing hot but white bread, pb and jellies for toast, prepackaged cereals, yogurt and refrigerated breakfast sandwiches to be microwaved

Okay, 1st the good: The workers behind the counter and the breakfast room are good at their jobs One example that comes to mind is when a guest dropped one of the spatulas on the floor that you use to put a serving of eggs

The breakfast worker wasn’t even in the room at the time, but heard the sound, knew what it meant, and quickly replaced both the spatula and the plate used to hold it The pool is nice and hardly anyone uses it There’s even a small workout room that at this time has a cycling machine and two treadmillsNow the bad: The rooms need some TLC For example, the sink faucet is too far over to make it where your hands won’t touch the inside of the sink The lights, even in the bathroom are too low, making it difficult to see yourself when shaving or putting your makeup on There are holes that have been spackled but not properly fixed The shower head should be replaced with one that works correctly Both the tile floors in the bathroom and the carpet are in need of proper cleaning and you can run a wet cloth in either and come up with a very dirty cloth There were things underneath my bed that were not mine It lists a guest laundry, but as you can see from the pics, it was out of orderThe reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because of the price, location, and the hardworking employees that really care about their jobs

Sharde

We got a king suite for 3 nights LOVED the blackout curtains and LOVED the floorplan and furniture (even though there was some staining on the red chair 😬) but this was minor The room and bathroom felt and smelled clean (not harsh chemicals clean just clean)

We were able to entertain 3 guests comfortably and we happily used the hot tub in the bedroom (just 2 ppl)! I cleaned it myself which I recommend for anyone using any bathtub in any hotel room Lovely stay and really nice front desk person

Only stay at this location if you want a dirty room that looks like it hasn’t been deep cleaned I love using a bathroom it smells like a urinal and finding other people’s hair all over the room while guessing what type of random body fluids are splattered all over the bathroom door Thanks again for ruining my trip to Tennessee! The highway noise is also a great added bonus!

Emily Twombley

Extremely disappointing My family and I travelled in a group of 6 and got a suite room to utilize the two beds and the pull out couch When we got into the room and pulled out the couch, it was absolutely disgusting

There was no bedding or mattress pad provided for the stained, dirty mattress When we brought this up to the front desk, she offered a weak solution of providing a mattress pad that did not even fit the pull out No offer to switch rooms or provide a discount For the amount of money that we paid for this room, we expected the room to at least be clean and accommodate the number of people We have no plans of returning, book a stay with caution

Only leaving 3 stars because Adrian at the front desk was awesome We booked a room with two beds and were given one and he immediately corrected it and answered any questions we have Great room but the room wreaked of the smell of weed because someone nearby was smoking in their room

Wouldn’t bother me but I had my young son with me Likely won’t stay here on our next visit just because of that

Sharde

I stayed in a King Room, which I knew wouldn’t be the same as a suite, but I still expected better The bed was big and comfortable, but the bathroom (toilet and bathtub) smelled mildewy, the bathtub was stopped up, and the bathroom sink was right at the door as you enter the room with no privacy After staying at two other places that were impressive, clean and comfortable, this was a disappointment

I started to give the benefit of the doubt once I realized it was 2 star, but so are the other two places I also realize I could have requested another room, but it’s the principle of these issues existing at all The lobby was nice, the front desk person was kind, helpful, and gracious, but the room felt a bit seedy

Jack Benson

Room was 163 for the night At that price and with the La Quinta name on the side of the building expectations are set The receptionist was nice and the room was over all clean

However they were unable to give us a key and I was surrounded by broken things The elevator was broken and the carpet in the stair well was worn out for obvious reasons I suppose The toilet in our room rocked back and forth There was no shampoo in the bathroom and the back wall of the shower had crack that was painted over The tub drain backed up over my ankles The mattress was noisy The ice maker in the hall and the juice machine both broken La Quinta is better than this This location either needs to step up there game, lower the prices until they get things fixed, or change the sign out front to Super 8 If I stay in this area again I’ll be looking for alternative lodging to either save some money or find better accommodations 2 stars not one simply because I didn’t see any signs of bugs

Second time staying at this location, and it was enjoyable Great little hotel, and very clean Best part is the staff

Both visits, I was shocked at the friendliness of all of the front desk people, and they were different people each time I went by the desk It must be a good work environment, because it shows in how the staff interact with customers Highly recommended!

Julia Thomason

This is a very nice hotel!! The lobby area has lots of TVs and places to work The breakfast was amazing

eggs, sausage, oatmeal (with toppings), bagels, muffins, waffles and cereal The staff was very friendly and helpful especially when we got to our room and the television wasn’t working They moved us to another room Our first room had some issues There was a phone that wasn’t plugged into anything, a lamp that didn’t work, another phone that would only work occasionally We kept having to plug and unplug it to communicate with the front desk about the problems in the room The other room they moved us to was perfect I was disappointed that we had booked a king room and didn’t get one

Teresa Perry

Pool out of service for weeks Do not recommend long stay with pet Hotel policy allows housekeeping to refuse to enter a room that has a dog whether dog is present or not when they come

They do not allow guests to borrow a sweeper and got attitude when asked to get clean towels Wouldn’t allow me to get clean bedding Kitchen cabinet has broken shelf Toaster hadn’t been cleaned but was put in cabinet Crumbs were all over cabinet Shower backed up but since I have a pet in the room, had to clean out hair build up myself Highway noise is a problem in room Bring a fan to drown the noise

There is only one staff that was nice and her name is Penny! The General Manager Antonio is rude and a theft and a liar! And Terry is the same way We stayed over a month here And when we checked out my husband and I left a suitcase and our dog food bin

We called and asked if someone could hold it so we could come get it and we were told he will have someone go get it and put it in storage The day before coming to get it we called the manager Antonio and asked him if they still had it and he said it was in storage Then we told him we will be by the next day As pulling up to the hotel we was informed that our suitcases was in the trash Ever unprofessional Will never stay here again!!!!

This hotel took reservations on bookingcom knowing full well it was overbooked by 10 or more reservations They had no room for us upon arrival and told us so

They had arranged for us to stay in a sister hotel Upon arriving at hotel #2 we were given a room When we entered the room there were people already in it The gal at the desk told us they too were now overbookedSo 9pm on a Saturday night after driving allday we had nowhere to stay and all hotels not $250 or more booked or a roach motelBookingcom did nothing and cancelled the reservation on their site so we can’t leave a review there, but there are other reviews like ours already reported

Tankahs Mom

We will not be staying here again! My husband our 5year old son and I stayed at a Days Inn and Super 8 with low ratings recently in Nashville and had a better experience then I had here They charge for everything that is suppose to be supplied by the hotel like (towels, hair dryers, linens and etc) The floor was nasty

Our son feet was always dirty even after getting out the tub (Which didn’t stop up properly) One of the light bulbs had dead bugs in it We had to go and get a new one The room smelled clean though and the bed was comfortable The hallway carpet was alway dirty and had white dog hair on it Thankfully the housekeeping lady gave me some extra towels (for free) and let me see her broom They don’t go by their own rules There was people in the parking lot nightly smoking at the back door, hanging out and bbqing in the parking lot being loud where was a lil young tall black Girl name started with a K kept coming knocking on the door and she is rude and tried to get an attitude There was an older lady there (forgot her name) that was nice and understanding BEWARE BEFORE STAYING HERE!

The pool and spa are under renovation so it cannot be used Staff is friendly and the hotel is OKThis is a revision two days after my original post! They are unable to accommodate your needs

They change constantly the information given I was trying to stay in the same room because I had a free night to use my choice pointsFirst, they said to check the night before The night before they said that I needed to speak with the manager who arrives at 9:00 am of the next day I stayed to attend a convention so I need to out of the hotel at 7:30 am Very unreasonable staff Comfort suites were a good chain but lately it has declined in value and hospitalityI’m paying over what the nightly fee is The search said $98 and I payed the cheapest night $105 This is not worth it I had two very uncomfortable discussions with the staff Rick is the manager I hope you attend and correct this I will not stay any longer at your hotel due to this bad experience but hopefully you can correct so the next people won’t feel as overwhelmed as I am In the hospitality business you need to feel the people welcome and at ease Your employee could have made a note right when I checked in on Tuesday and made clear my simple request Now if the request cannot be accepted, I need to check out and stay out till 3:00 pm again All the work cannot be given the guest Horrible experience!!! Do not stay here!

We stayed here twice once going and once coming back from a family trip We specifically chose this hotel on the return trip because it was so nice Spacious clean rooms

Very patient and friendly staff Seriously, both times when I walked in the same guy at the front desk was dealing with difficult/hateful people and kept calm and professional We left before breakfast, but it smelt yummy We would definitely stay here again

Booked a last minute room 5*29*22 Get there around 10:50pm Booked online so check in was smooth

The room was supposed to be “No Smoking” Immediately when I open the room door #224 all I could smell was cigarette smoke I immediately called downstairs cause the lady at desk said she get off at 11pm I told her I don’t smoke so I can smell everything I told this must be a smoking room because it smells and someone been smoking in there She stated she will make a note in the system I said please do cause I don’t want them to be trying to charge me for smoking when I don’t smoke at all Then of course the swimming and the spa was NOT working again Normally they slide the finally receipt under the door But I left about 10am and never seen m to receipt Overall nice stay Just make sure it’s smoke free
