Our stay at St George Inn absolutely did not disappoint The staff here are amazing – very polite and helpful, definitely makes you feel welcome

I loved the uniqueness of St George Inn, with all the rooms and suites scattered about St George Street The location is perfect, convenient to all that the old city has to offer – restaurants, stores, sites and entertainment Our room was great! We had a nice, clean and updated room with a balcony overlooking the fort, water and streetA few small details that I appreciated, the double doors with the foyer in between the patio and our room It’s an added security and a buffer to silence the loudness of the street noise The complementary breakfasts were very nice, perfect choices for the hot summer mornings And although a small detail – the complimentary umbrellas for each room These definitely come in handy for the Florida summer afternoon rain showersWe enjoyed our stay and would definitely be happy to return

Saint George Inn is a fabulous place Our room was elegant The shower was soothing

The bed put us to sleep and kept us sleeping There is a coffee table as well And then there’s the balcony which was our favorite place to hang out, including for our pup who loved watching the horse buggy clop clop us by You get a view of the fort as well For breakfast, we had bagels w cream cheese and a panini with cheese ham and tomato, and orange juice The ambience outdoors is super cute Puts you in the mood to walk around the historic downtown Memorable experience Hope to come again in near future!

Good parking, nice entry reception room, and very friendly staff The rooms were not new but they were still in good shape Frequently, older hotels have noisy air conditioner units but this one was whisper quiet, making my sleep far better

The linens were crisp and clean, along with the rest of the room, plus the rooms were very quiet I was only there for a night but it will be at the top of my list of places to stay in the future I highly recommend

Brandy Mudd

Overall it was nice Staff was very nice and friendly, room was clean; breakfast wasn’t very much to choose from Only one person running it which I understand is from COVID shortages, she was doing an awesome job so not her fault

Also no microwave in the room at all & mini fridge didn’t work well Overall, it’s a good hotel but definitely wish the amenities were there for the price

As others have rightly said, “Can you say PERFECT? Place is newer, room was very good size, great bed pillows and comforter But even better was staff Every time I saw them it was a pleasant experience from front desk to room cleaning

” Both Laura and Bird are excellent managers of the hotel, and genuinely good people I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in St Augustine It’s walking distance from historic St Augustine, has plenty of parking, and is about an 8-10 minute drive to the beach Couldn’t ask for more

Can you say PERFECT? Place is newer, room was very good size, great bed pillows and comforter But even better was staff Every time I saw them it was a pleasant experience from front desk to room cleaning

Further, lost my car key They found it and reached out THEN my brother stayed same resort a few days and upon checkout he left his wallet on bed He was called and everything still inside Amazing place – close enough to historic and convenience of everyday stores and restaurants for family right nearby For the money, you will be challenged to find better! Stay here

Never being to a pet friendly hotel with our dogs before I didn’t know what to expect…Stopped late and unplanned from being on the road all dayThis place is AWESOME! Location is perfect to downtown, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is awesome! A lot of the people leaving these reviews are people you will never be able to please or just are expecting way too muchStayed here for 5 days, coming in I wasn’t expecting much based on the reviews Upon arrival, tons of service on staff in valet, lobby, and everywhere else

Lobby service staff was great and helpful and quick as they could be Rooms were clean, good views depending on room, and had everything you neededPool / pool bar was great, the staff were incredible Big shout out to Harley, Tory, Kyle, Watts, and Lauren I’m sure I’m missing another They made the experience great outside, amazing outdoor food, good drinks, and great atmosphere The beach is right outside the property gates, the only people complaining are super lazy or incapable of moving essentially The breakfast is great for free, harvest and real taste great and is not overpriced compared to the rest of the city but has a good quality of foodAll in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming into St AugustineI’m honestly not sure what people are expecting for less than $500 a night, this is not 5-10 years ago Prices do increase over time A $1500-3000 vacation is not considered high end anymore This place is great for the money considering everything else these days

Catherine Davis

This is a great place to stay for a couples get away, family vacation or really any kind of stay! We are always greeted by a staff member that valets our car and welcomes us to check in where we are quickly checked in The hotel is spacious and clean throughout The views are breathtaking! We enjoy the heated pool, hot tub, and patio seating with table fire pits

There is an on-site restaurant, indoor bar and poolside bar The staff is attentive and every thing that we’ve had has been delicious We are excited for our next stay!

Tom A

Just spent four days here, we were very lucky to have all sunny days The staff is excellent, especially Jon at the front desk They were very attentive, polite and accommodating of any request

The breakfast was nice, always a plus not to have to leave property to start the day It was basically the same meal everyday, some variety would have been nice just because there is no other dining option on site except Starbucks Lunch poolside was nice and dinner at Harvest and Reel was excellent If you have good weather and want to just sit by the pool all day then they have everything you need there There are some restaurants within walking distance if you want a change now and thenThe beach I feel is a misrepresented “feature” of the hotel There is no access to the beach directly behind the pool on property, apparently this has been the case for quite a while The staff sits outside of the public beach access area with the beach chairs they provide for each room Their promotional materials still show pictures as if you can sit on and use the resort’s beach, but that is not the case They really should remove those deceptive pictures for their websiteAlso, the property needs some help with cleanliness The pool area was seldom cleaned before it opened; dirty tables and lounge chairs, and a lot of the chairs are ripped and need to be replacedWe got what we went for and enjoyed our time there; great service, food and drink and luckily great weather!

First time staying at a bed and breakfast and the people here are amazing! When reserving the room, I made mention of my daughter’s birthday When we came to check in, the staff were amazing! They wished my daughter a happy birthday and when they showed us to our room, they had a birthday card and cookies for her!The staff were so sweet and they really went out of their way for guests Very knowledgeable about the area and they provide breakfast, a social hour with food/drinks, dessert, and wine

They really make you feel at home! I will definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in St Augustine!! 6 stars!!

Dawn Restrepo

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful romantic getaway Casa de Suenos provided delicious and ample homemade breakfasts, fresh and savory ‘Happy Hour’ snacks and beverages, homemade baked sweets upon your evening return, and very clean and comfortable rooms and beds They thought of everything for our comfort and pleasure

I must also mention the friendly, welcoming staff, especially Tina who was extra accommodating and Kim who helped me out in a pinch Thank you! We will stay with you again if we’re in St Augustine

Ana Pappa

My mom and I rented the Nieves room for a casual girls weekend Patrick and Tina are the sweetest people and took very good care of us during our stay! Our one and only piece of feedback is that the shower head in our room seemed to be installed incorrectly, but that’s an easy fix Aside from that, the room was clean, housekeeping is offered daily, and the team seemed to the go the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable

We were so impressed with the attention to detail and amenities offered, like little desserts left out for each guest every evening My mom is notoriously a tough critic, but she was already talking about booking another visit before the weekend was even over! Overall we had a very lovely time, and would absolutely recommend Casa de Sueños to anyone!

The staff was super friendly and always made sure we had what we needed The check in and out process as well as parking was extremely easy and convenient The pool is a little small but the outside area is nice and relaxing

Our room was very comfortable including the bed The shower was a little odd with no full door or curtain so the floor got a bit wet, but they give you plenty of towels so it was no big deal There are plenty of options for breakfast, and the fitness are looked great but I didn’t use it There are some cool bars and restaurants in walking distance to the hotel and the downtown area is about a 20 minute walk This is great location and we highly recommend it when staying in St Augustine

K S (Basketkase045)

We stayed in November of 2021 and have been meaning to write this review The hotel advertised that it was recently renovated, and parts of it were but it did not feel like a new or recently renovated hotel First, we arrived very late at night after a long drive and upon arriving in our room discovered that the bathroom floor was dirty, the toilet had not been cleaned (there was visible fecal matter in the toilet bowl), and hair on the bathroom vanity

The room (and the hotel, generally) has a musty smell to it They were unable to change our rooms because of occupancy and had no one to clean the room at that time We understood it was late and resolved that it would be addressed in the morning as it was approximately 2:00 am at that point My wife cleaned the room with some wipes she had brought with her The A/C was another matter, I normally like to sleep in a cold room and set it to 68 but it never got below about 72 in the room and would even turn off I think the A/C was set to do this The following morning the manager told us that he would issue a credit ($50 or about 1/3 of the previous night’s room cost) for the inconvenience and the room would be deep cleaned We left for the day to explore St Augustine and when we arrived the room still smelled musty, the shower was improved but still had visible mold, however, the toilet and sink vanity had been cleaned We were only there for a couple of nights and decided to just stick it out for our stay Although the rooms were refreshed the A/C is definitely older and the room we were in showed signs of wear The front desk staff was nice, but our stay was awful I honestly would not recommend it, there are other, better properties to stay at in St Augustine

Simon green

Really loved this place, my wife was ill so we didn’t get out much but this is a fabulous hotel with a great location and lovely staff Check in was easy, the staff were friendly and the pool area was clean and tidy with plenty of seating Complimentary breakfast was ok with toast, bagels, cereals, omelettes and breakfast croissants

Literally a five minute walk over the bridge in to the heart of historic St Augustine but that means the location is really peaceful Good price for a modern clean and fresh contemporary IHG hotel Well done!

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and it was perfect at the Bayfront Marin! The room was gorgeous and our private balcony overlooking the river provided a cooling breeze, many hours of relaxation and breathtaking sun and moon rises! The staff was so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! We loved the happy hour selections served on our balcony and they catered to my gluten free lifestyle so courteously for happy hour AND breakfasts The location was also ideal Walked to everything in the historic district and rode bikes over to the beach

When back in St Augustine again we will absolutely choose this place AND this exact room!

Kelly Gilson

I hesitated to share this less than favorable review but in the end, I feel I must This was our second visit The first time 3 years ago we were married at the Bayfront Marin House

Our experience in the beachfront cottage with Marina hosting/managing us was nothing short of amazing This year we stayed at the Bayfront bed and breakfast to celebrate our Anniversary It was lackluster to say the least I requested towels and cleaning but came back to find that it was not done My husband had to call a second time to request it towels and cleaning was not done in the 3 nights we stayed The room was quite humid The air didn’t seem to work properly We missed the Happy hour with the other guests as well as the personalized experience we had the last time we visited The Bayfront is close to our hearts It makes me sad that it has changed this much in a few short years

Kan McCray

This was my first B&B stay and it exceeded all my expectations The room was clean and very well decorated The jets in the shower are heaven sent

The fireplace is a wonderful touch and I look forward to coming back in the winter to try it out The location is perfect and in walking distance of almost everything we wanted to do The view of the bay is beautiful I enjoyed the breakfast and evening happy hour The staff was extremely friendly and the free parking made my life easier This is now my new favorite vacation destination!

Michelle Stansbury

Our stay there was great!! We happened to stop in St Augustine after a cruise and walked in to see if they had vacancies They quickly accommodated us and even let us check in a little early

The staff was great and the martinis were amazing!!! Loved the quaint feelings of this little place and the breakfast was wonderful The room and bathroom could use some updating but the house is dated from 1916 The location was perfect!! We had walking access to the markets and great restaurants/drinks The parking was a little out of the way and a hassle to bring luggage to room but it was free parking which was a huge plus! Again, the staff for hotel and restaurant were AMAZING! And the bartender at the martini bar went above and beyond! The martinis are amazing so even if you are not staying hotel, stop by the bar and restaurant You will not be disappointed We think we even had a visit from Ms Bradshaw herself! That was an extra bonus!!

Terri Avellone

I did not stay at the Inn but I did visit my brother and sister in law over the weekend They had a ground floor unit, facing Charlotte Street We hung out on the balcony for several hours, which is the perfect spot to enjoy a few drinks, people and car watch

Their room was incredible!! From the numerous jets in the shower to the beautiful sink/cabinet to the gorgeous wood floors, the renovations are top notch Even though I’m 15 minutes away, it makes me want to rent a night just to be in the heart of our beautiful city

Richard DeAgazio

When we arrived to check in, it is was discovered that our room was just completing renovation and should have been blocked as unavailable for one more day And there were no other rooms available The young man a the front desk (Christian) apologized and snapped into action

He called the Housekeeping Manager and they looked at options We waited about 30 minutes while they scurried around to try to remedy the situation We were with another couple so an alternate hotel was not a great option They called the GM and after some panic, and discussion, they had the room (which was at the end of the renovation and nearly done except for deep cleaning) cleaned and made ready in a jiffy And they offered some credits and extra vouchers which was generous In the end it cost us about an hour but the attention and concern was well noted Great service and empathy Also breakfast the next morning was terrific, also with great service We will return

Margaret Butler

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Casa Monica in St Augustine Florida We had the good fortune to have accommodations of a two room suite for two nights and a premier king room for the third night

Both rooms were decorated very nicely and spacious The beds in both rooms were incredibly comfortable and I have to find out where they get their pillows because they were fabulous! The common areas of the hotel carry out the Moroccan theme beautifully with architectural detail, fabulous colors and beautiful artwork The entire staff we interacted with, particularly Shane at the front desk and Charlyne, the concierge, were friendly and helpful we had breakfast every morning at the hotel restaurant and dinner one evening The hotel is incredibly well situated for guests to walk to a myriad of interesting places, attractions and museums in the like I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I’m visiting St Augustine again

Paul Chase

Went here for our anniversary weekend and loved every minute Hotel is right in the middle of everything Hotel lounge is the perfect place to unwind and feel like you are in another country

Dress up and have fun – the piano entertainment was so fun and the drinks were perfect Pool is small but nice We weren’t able to make it to the beach club due to exploring St Augustine but it looked nice and made me want to add another night This hotel is worth it for the attention to detail and intimate setting We considered larger hotels south but I don’t think it would come close to the “escape” we had Thank you San Monica!

Judy Andrews

This place was not worth the price It’s a nice hotel in a great location, but for the price we expected a little more Everything felt like they were flying by the seat of their pants

We arrived at check in time 4pm Our room wasn’t ready Nearly 2 hours later of us sitting in the lobby with our luggage, our room was ready We were late for dinner reservations and had to rush off in our travel clothes We asked the next day to not have our room cleaned, but they showed up and did it anyway Our check out day, they were knocking on the door at 8am to clean our room Checkout is at 11?! The rooftop pool had a bar, but the guy did not seem interested in serving anything Felt like we were bothering him Our room was spacious, but the furniture was worse for the wear and our shower leaked They did comp us a bit on our first nights stay, but we’ve had much better, professional experiences at places like the Ritz Carlton for the same price

All in all this was an awesome stay! The hotel is very nice and clean The staff are quick and friendly The location feels safe and is very close to the historic district and Bridge of Lions

It’s a 10-15 minute drive to St Augustine Beach I loved all the little details like the extra pillows, Dove soap, towels by the pool, and extra air-conditioning blasts as you exit the elevator and head to your room! There is a parking fee that I was a little surprised about at checkout ($18 a day) It was in the fine print though, I must have just overlooked it It’s totally still worth it for the price

Guy Allard

I’m a spire member for IHG, I spend a lot of time out of town for work When walking into the hotel, I was very impressed nicely modeled the front desk was under whelming as I had to wait five minutes for someone to show up When they did show up he then stated he needed to go get someone to do it

So I waited some more… as a spire member I am supposed to be upgraded, which they upgraded me to a junior suiteI was excited to get to the room and see what was in store, we got to the room… And holy god looks like the blew the whole Reno budget on the lobby The junior suite had a king bed which was nice the couch looked like it was probably ten years old TV was a nice Samsung, the bathroom was lack luster Standard but old and dated and the vent was hanging from a wire when we first got there So had to call maintenance to come repair itWhen my wife called down to the front desk and and also to house keeping to get extra towels, both failed to answer the phones She walked down and the gentlemen behind the desk was shoveling French fries into his face as he asked what she need help with Very unprofessional, I understand everyone needs to eat, however not behind the front deskAll in all I would have given it a two star rating but the lobby saved them

Abbe Dantzig

Nice accommodations that were clean and confidently located near the historic district Front desk Phillip was very pleasant and helpful Down side to the check in process was, a daily charge for parking that we were not informed about until presented with the preliminary cost for the room

In addition, when our TV reception was poor requiring a maintenance person to check, he did come promptly however was very rude with our expectation that all channels should work (They never did) In conclusion we would consider staying at this property again as the positive outweigh the negative

The thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! First when we checked in the front desk guy (sorry forgot his name) was super friendly and told us what places to explore & where to eat while we were there I loved that our room had an open patio with chairs that offered nice views of the water The breakfast was soooo delicious too! Shout out to the chef! I would definitely stay here again

I only wish we would have booked a room that had a microwave so we could warm up our leftovers I highly recommend this place

Far exceeded expectations! We have traveled to St Augustine a few times and this was the best experience we had!!We arrived very late from our travels and Roseanne was lovely and very accommodating in helping us get into the property and our rooms The parking is located on site and it is a very secure property

The home is so beautifully maintained Our room was clean and the sheets were so comfortable We loved the dual shower in the bathroom and the robes were such a nice touch We had wonderful sleep! In the morning, we were served the loveliest breakfast and enjoyed conversation with the other guests I highly recommend the Centennial House with Roseanne and her team We will definitely be staying here every time we visit St Augustine from now on!

We had an AMAZING stay at the Centennial House! Rosanna and her wonderful team of ladies were so hospitable and kind We loved having breakfast in the morning, everything was delicious! Rosanna made this delicious Orange Cake (thank you again for the recipe!) When you’re there, you feel like family with everyone

The location is super close to the stores and is within walking distance of many places (Ripley’s, Castillo de San Marcos, and Museums) The parking garage is also close by, so we were confident in knowing that we had somewhere to park our car at the end of the day when we came back from the beach The house is super clean, the bed was so comfy, and the shower felt like a spa We can’t wait to come back!

It’s a cool place with a great location You can walk just about everywhere Unfortunately our first night, there were no sheets on the beds

They corrected that the next day when I went to the front desk The safe didn’t work and called the front desk She said someone would come up, they never did Now we just ran out of toilet paper Sheets and toilet paper are pretty basic things in my opinion Not a deal breaker, but does make me scratch my head

First off, everyone is super friendly and helpful! The rooms are so clean, beds comfy! You are right in downtown there is EVERYTHING to do in walking distance The little breakfast courtyard is so adorable You can sit inside or outside by a fountain with soft music, have coffee while you wait for your homemade 3 course breakfast! Don’t forget to let them know if you have special food needs

This place is really the best! We hope to come back soon!!!!

We stayed here one night earlier this month (6/22) This B&B has great reviews so I will admit I was remiss in not reading the details about our room which was the Palm South The room is really small with very little space to put your things and no where to sit other than on the bed

It was very nice having the use of the front porch and I will say that the manager, Ann, was very nice and the location is great The negatives though were many There’s no thermostat in the room to control the climate but an a/c vent is on the ceiling I was afraid I would break a leg as I had to stand on the side of the tub and stretch out my arm to reach and open the vent using a coat hanger as there is no chair in the room and the ceilings are high Also, at one point I turned off the ceiling fan but then during the night I tried to turn it on and the switch was broken (so frustrating!) The TV volume didn’t work at allno sound (wound up watching something on my laptop) But the biggest disappointment was breakfast They are without a cook, which I feel we should have been told about when we booked our room, or at the least an adjustment to the price of the lodging should have been made For me, a yummy hot breakfast is a big part of why I choose a B&B Instead there was cold cereal, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt and several kinds of what looked like entenmann’s cake and Sam’s club muffins A mimosa was offered and enjoyed, but over-all, I was disappointed

Juan Marquez

Brought my girlfriend here for valentine’s day because we wanted to stay in the heart of historic St Augustine Wasn’t sure what to expect, but right from the start it was a wonderful experience You will be charmed from the moment you arrive until the time you leave

We were greeted at the street by staff who presented us with our key, parking pass, and envelope with instructions for our stay The owner left a personal letter apologizing he was not there to greet us, but we were able to meet him the next morning at the gorgeous 3-course breakfast he hosted himself The room was beautiful, clean, comfortable bed, extra pillows, jacuzzi tub, and 50″ 4k TV The location is perfect, just a short walking distance to all of the shops, bars, and restaurants in the historic area My girlfriend thought it was a magical experience and we would love to come back

We stayed the first week of May There was freshly made lemonade for parched travelers in the lobby The front desk staff was very helpful and gave us information on places to eat and see

We enjoyed Harry’s Seafood for dinner and the drinks were great at Prohibition Kitchen, thanks for the infoThe rooms were clean and the pool area was nice and quaint Very close to the historic district Plus you get breakfastI would stay here againThanks for the hospitalityJane

Linda Crook

Good location, easy to get to historic areas Trolley Tour will pick you up here Enthusiastic welcome by evening clerk! Beds very comfortable

I’m only giving a three because the A/C was weak and the room smelled a bit musty The edges of the room could have done with a good cleaning Great breakfast – top marks Grounds very tidy

Steven Bateman

If I and my family stay in a hotel chain, typically it is with Hampton Inns as we have found them to be clean, neat, and staffing commendable on most of our stays! The room itself was fine, the staff were eager to help assist in any way, the location was very good for amenities to St Augustine but where the staff went above and beyond, is when they would call the local trolley to pick us up in front of the hotel to take us to the trolley car starting point so that we may purchase tickets for the day to tour St Augustine! Only down fall of the stay is the $10 per day parking fee

but St Augustine is a small historic area, and I understand the fee! Not many places to park at all in the area and that land is at a premium for which I gladly paid my $10 daily fee!

The best place to stay for couples looking to get away! The ladies were all so welcoming and made it feel like home The room we stayed in was the Kirby room and it was clean and inviting Outside seating was so pretty to relax after a long day of walking and there was a wine happy hour – amazing

Breakfast was devine and filling The b&b is also located within walking distance of most if not all of historic downtown and it was so quiet My fiancee and I will absolutely be visiting this b&b again in the future!

Service was fantastic Food was very good a little pricey for lunch but what do you expect when you can eat right on the water The shrimp were goo but their is one thing that I had an issue with

This is also the reason I gave them a 4 star The shrimp were not cleaned to remove the vein which cause a slight taste and the shrimp were a little gritty Not a huge deal for most but something I like to have cleaned out of my shrimp especially when dining out

Steve Dahl

This is our most favorite hotel/restaurant/marina bar vacation spots ever experienced It was built in 1946 and they have kept the original (4) rooms with the same tile and details So quaint that I felt like we were on the set of Ozzie and Harriet! The people are awesome and the food is great, the beer is cold and the pool is perfect

It is a vacation dream, but don’t expect the Taj Mahal! I am 70 years old and we have traveled Europe and the Islands, Hawaii and more This is where we will vacation from now on!
