Hotel was okay Not the worst but for the price the rooms could be more up to date and more well kept When you first walk in you are expecting more from the rooms because the overall experience when you first walk is great

Hotel lobby, bar area and pool is very well kept The gym and pool are absolutely amazing The restaurant for food was very expensive No free breakfast The staff was friendly Our room closet door was broken, the shower was very hard to work, the TV worked at first but the longer you had it on it would go dark and you couldn’t see it

I was pleasantly surprised at quality of our stay Room was clean and tidy with top notch furniture Staff was family friendly and lobby and bar area made our stay more enjoyable

First time staying and was so happy we chose it! Our Spanish Colonial room was beautiful! Loved the soft lighting and charming feel! Everything felt luxurious from the bedding to the towels, and we appreciated the addition of robes and a mini bar Loved watching the sunrise on the patio Venetia was very accommodating and allowed for a flexible check-in which was so appreciated! We will definitely be staying here again!

This place was really nice The owner seems to have really went out of their way to make this place accommodating for their guests It sits along the riverfront and we were able to get some dinner to go at a restaurant nearby and people watch on our patio

It has a full shower and a bath/jacuzzi It was nice to sit in a Epsom salt bath with bubbles (they provided Epsom salt and the soap) The owner seemed to know the area and it’s history very well It was a nice stayIf you are like my wife and I, I would advise you to bring a fan or some other device to drown out the ambient noise, but that is a personal preference Not everyone is bothered by that and I can’t discredit this place because of outside noise My wife and I found the beds to be slightly uncomfortable, but once again, those are personal preferencesAll in all, this was a nice inn to stay at Nestled right in the middle of Main Street St Charles right at the heart of all the shops, restaurants, ect I highly recommend this place if you are out of town, or just looking to get away

Christy Holliday

I love this place! The owner, Ventia, and Miss Linda were so kind and accommodating This was the perfect location to enjoy historic downtown We are from Chattanooga, TN, and chose this location because my husband stayed around here as a child and remembered it being beautiful

We reserved 2 king premium suites for 5 nights, 2 months in advance so we could get what we wanted We checked in online When we got to the motel we didn’t have a room

Finally found a queen suite because they overbooked on purpose I asked if we could have a king when available and was told no they didn’t allow you to change rooms We were told housekeeping would be every other day We never got our room serviced I called front desk and was told they would be there the next day and nothing The faucet in the bathroom leaked No pressure in the wellness shower and the filter needed changed The heater was so loud it woke us up every time it turned on On a positive note, breakfast was amazing We cut our trip short because it was miserable staying here I was highly disappointed There goal to guarantees you will be satisfied or they will make it right is false I have stayed in much cheaper motels that were nicer, cleaner and much more comfortable I will not stay again

Marie Cavasher

The very kind and knowledgeable maintenance engineer very helpfully answered my questions about my room’s door lock Front desk staff was hard to reach by my room phone, and I was given next to no information about hotel amenities The front desk staff with one exception seemed unhappy and stressed

The breakfast food was well above average The hotel is very conveniently located as part of a convention center with easy highway access My room could have used a bit of refurbishment but it was clean Will definitely stay there again

Robert Jones

We attended a Traveling Vineyard Wine Camp at this center and had a good experience Breakfast and Manager’s Reception were a nice touch Omelets made to order and free dinner time drinks were a game changer

The cleanliness of the entire area without being intrusive was appreciated A lot of room for any function with a congenial staff Recommend this center for future use

This place is amazing We stayed in this Sears order home The tub actually fits 2 people (very comfortable for my husband and I to relax in together)

The owner was amazing and went above and beyond for us She even made us a customer package It was the perfect get away we needed It was also nice to be able to walk around the historical at Charles We will be back

Marissa Lewis

Reviews definitely do not do this place justice Place is very overpriced with tasteless decor and the worst kept rooms I’ve stayed in There was even blood on the toilet seat

Staff was stuck up and not accommodating to any of our needs and we felt less than welcomed the more we stayed WOW is all we can say after this horrible experience Definitely staying away and advising others as well

WM Company

The inn is historically accurate It is an amazing feeling to know you are standing in a place with so much early American history and development of our country Spend some time with Venetia who can tell you the events of this 1843 building

We stayed in room 4 it had a cozy warm feeling, comfortable and next to fine shopping and dining All the buildings are well preserved and the area has about 10 blocks of original cobblestone roads The inn’s flowers are beautiful with great curb appeal Venetia made us feel welcome and that are stay with her inn was important We are staying 5 nights but after only 1 night i know when im very happy about my decision You do not want to miss this experience

My stay was awesome Took the kids for a mini staycation so they could relax and swim Everything was clean, all the staff were nice and accommodating

You also get complimentary breakfast that’s pretty decent But what was really exceptional was was one of the workers Jacqueline remembered me and my toddler from breakfast and that he had a paw patrol thermos In a rush we left in on the table She put it to the side and as soon as I came down looking she said I have is cup for you Her thoughtfulness, attention to detail and genuine nature was very refreshing

Stephanie

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff The room was very clean We requested extra towels and within 5 minutes they had them up to our room

Pool was cool, indoor/outdoor heated pool My kids loved it! Breakfast had lots of options Happy hour was great too! Top shelf liquor and appetizers Great coffee available anytime No complaints here! We will be choosing Drury hotels from now on!

Jim Cooper

Probably one of the best hotel beds I’ve slept on Room service wasn’t daily even after asking for it Staff is friendly and professional (mostly)

Morning buffet is all rehydrated food Sausage looked unappetizing and proved to be There aren’t a lot of alternatives if you don’t have a car or don’t order in A nice touch is happy hour in the evening with 3 free drinks and munchies It did it’s 4 day job

My friend and I had the pleasure of spending an evening here over the weekend It is a beautiful place very clean and well-kept We had the two downstairs rooms, which were just great! Fresh peanut butter cookies when we arrived, a fabulous breakfast the next morning! The owners are so very nice and friendly, and before we left we felt like they were friends instead of the innkeepers

This is a charming, quaint and romantic place to stay Located right on the Missouri river at old town St Charles, which in and of itself is an amazing place to go

This little house can sleep 4 and it is just a neat stop We stayed here for our honeymoon We want to rent the main house with some friends for a weekend stay at some point, because it sounds even more amazing

Renee Brown

We were needing a last minute accommodation for our mini vacation and Audrey graciously fit us in!The Riverside Guest house is beautiful and has everything a small family needs for a getawayThey thought of everything They even provide some snacks, and drinks

We are already planning to be back! Plus you can’t go wrong visiting downtown St Charles Historic district Smoke and Salt and the Bicycle Shop are great places to eat The Escape on Main adventure is top notch and we enjoyed an orchestral concert while eating ice cream at Kilwin’s Even with the flooded river the whole experience was wonderful

I really enjoyed the hotel and its proximity to Main Street St Charles The room had high ceilings, plenty of space for 2, and it was clean

The included breakfast was enjoyable (I really appreciated the waffle maker) I did not use the pool, but I did attempt the fitness center I was a little disappointed that there were no free-weights/dumbbells at all and the room was very very humid and warm (it was right above the pool, so maybe that’s why?) Otherwise, it’s a great little hotel! Staff was always friendly!

Kim K

We have stayed at this hotel several times and it never has disappointed us This stay was no exception The staff, from check in until departure, was extremely friendly

Our room was clean and provided everything we needed Breakfast was very enjoyable It included eggs, meat, waffles, etc each morning There were even gluten free bagels and dairy free milk options Ample parking is available With Main Street St Charles right outside the door, this location is ideal for shopping in the area

Matthew Boley

This is a good hotel The rooms are nice and comparable to other hotels in the area It sits along the historic downtown area on the laid brick streets of St

Charles There’s a nice wooden staircase in the lobby of the hotel and I was able to make use of the laundry facilities while I stayed A quality experienceA warning to amorous travellers: the rooms do not muffle loud noises

Far as the hotel goes its pretty decent All the rooms are suites very much spacious Front desk they are helpful, although a few can learn how to talk to guests

They have a year-round indoor/outdoor pool The lobby, common areas, and in general are well managed and clean The casino is huge, beautiful design, various slot machines and tables Staff are always visible and willing to assist

Wesley Gordon

Did a staycation with my daughter and her fiance We rented two rooms Both were very nice

One face the downtown area and all the lights and the other face the river which was nice as well The rooms are very big and spacious Showers are really nice My only negative would be they don’t have a sort of gift shop or place to get things like soda or chips They also don’t have ice machines and vending machines on the floors like most places I assume that’s to encourage you to eat at the restaurants The staff was kind to us to get the rooms close together A little pricey at about $200 per night after the local taxes Would definitely recommend

Larrann Pippin

We purchased a room for 2 nights Mind you we have 2 young children that tagged along We have been to this hotel more times than we can count and have always had an amazing time

We checked in this time and got situated in our lovely room when the kids asked to go swimming We all got ready and went down to find that the pool closes at 6PM for anyone under 21! I asked if this was an everyday occurrence and the lady went on to reply yes Never have I ever heard of such a rule before As I stated earlier we have been numerous times before We were very disappointed especially when we couldn’t even check in until 4 We pay a pretty penny to come here but it makes it all worth it to let the kids enjoy the awesome pool Little to say the hotel definitely lowered their family friendly atmosphere a notch by making this change

We stayed for a convention Room was clean and well maintained Staff was friendly, especially at breakfast

Complimentary fresh cookies and bottled water at check in was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated Plenty of spaces in the parking lot Some traffic noise from highway but it is not too distractingBreakfast buffet (included with our conference’s hotel block) was delicious with a rotating menu each day but not worth the $1795 price they charge for those that don’t purchase in advance Pool water was cold and super cloudy and the pool room didn’t have towels available The jacuzzi has been filled in to hold aloe plantsDepending on your travel needs, this is still a solid choice and would recommend!

Doug Daza

The staff was great The hotel itself needs some work The mattresses were old and lumpy

The TV in the room did not work (I did not request it to be fixed so I cannot comment on how it would have been addressed The breakfast offering was terrible A breakfast sandwich and some apples The room just needs to be updated It was very clean The rate was fine

Nora Christensen

This place is terrible We came in thinking this place was going to be great Staff was friendly and the cookie was good

There is a bar in the lobby We got up to our room and it stunk of cheap air freshener Our room was right next to the ice machine which is very loud and could hear it all night The bathroom was crumbling and our sink was clogged The linens felt slimy and the mattress was very uncomfortable The floor was much more comfortable There was a visible stain on the bottom sheet AND ON THE PILLOW Made me sick to my stomach

The stay here was great the rooms were very clean The service and the welcoming was awesome I would like to say thank you to Kate and Joe who were friendly and made me feel like home away from home! They were sure to tell me…

if there’s anything I needed to be sure and let them know! You guys have the warm personalities it takes to make a difference in peoples stay

Larry N

Overall a quality facility at a reasonable price My room was comfortable, quiet and well maintained The staff is attentive and helpful

Breakfast is provided, but is of marginal quality I tried the breakfast once just once, and ate out afterwards I would stay here again, but first I will try a different hotel when I am in the area again

Marianne Hardin

I have stayed in many Hamptons in several cities for work so I guess I had a certain expectation This one is def smaller & altho we slept well & our room was very clean, bed comfy etc

I did not care for the partial wall for hanging our clothing or the slide door for the bathroom It was hard to shut quietly if you do not wish to disturb The Front Desk was friendly, parking no issue, and the Breakfast was for the most part very good It is also very nice to have your choice of coffee, tea or hot cocoa upon arrival or anytime as it is there for Guests in the Lobby We would probably stay again, but prefer the bigger & older Hampton Inns much better!

I’ve never had a bad experience at a Drury Inn, and this was no exception Hotel was very clean, staff extremely friendly Our room was clean and comfortable

And every Drury I’ve stayed in offers 3 drinks and a full dinner each night of your stay, and a full hot breakfast every morning Nice pool area, although I will say the hot tub is a bit small Once you put 4-5 people in there your sitting on top of one another While we in the hot tub we did have a staff member come in and ask if the temperature was adequate and if we needed anything, which I thought was very nice Over all i would recommend Drury

Matthew Boley

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past few years for business trips, but this was my first visit in three years I like the location It is right next to the Mid Rivers Mall and several other shops and eateries

The staff is friendly and helpfulMy concern this last trip was that several of my coworkers expressed issues with their rooms One was odor related and another involved a bedding cleanliness issue that is concerning for any hotel traveler These items were reported and they were accommodated with different rooms More attention can be paid to these items by the management and staff and the issues can be addressed

Shari Gaddy

Checking in was easy and quick Drury charges more for their room because they offer dinner there However, we have only utilized this service once

The last time we checked in two minutes before they stopped serving and were not offered the dinner or happy hour drinks If I’m not going to utilize this service, then don’t charge me extra for the room The room was clean and very nice
