If no stars was and option i would Ill start off by this place has gone down hill to methville since the old timer who owned itnpassed away Booked a kitchenette for work forna few weeks while in town

It was 20 outside There was no heat the 3 days i managed to stay until i had to just move to boomtown inn “Excellent motel btw” The heat was off in out side of building No actual heat source in room so used oven Decorated like a 1970s style grandparent house Absolutely nothing to use in kitchenette No bowls, utinsels, pots, pans, cups etc If you check out early youre treated with a runaround from Methany about how OYO hotels will do the refund in a week maybe 2 maybe maybe After just over a month of waiting for refund from early depature due to nonheat and living conditions at hotel i called oyo myself and it took all of 2 hours to be refunded the money DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOURE LOW ON FUNDS AND CANT AFFORD THE BOOMTOWN BOOMTOWN IS ACTUALLY CHEAPER ANYWAYS AND LIKE AN ALMOST BRAND NEW MOTEL YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

I have mixed emotions about this place

But the bad out ways the goodThe good: free laundry, the hotel is very interesting it was converted from on old hospital and there are many cool antics to look at in the halls, there was a pool table, and music box The cleaning staff was very nice and our room was very clean And they actually had a room availableThe bad: the shower is weird It’s just in the room Not in the bathroom and there is only a curtain between the shower and the room There are no hooks and anything at all by it for your towel and clothes It’s very inconvenient and very small There were almost no plugs, and the coffee was terrible But those are miner things that I would have let go The biggest problem was that it was EXTREMELY stressful staying at this hotel! Because they are horrible at their book keeping So every day that we were trapped here the front desk lady showed up at our room screaming at us that we didn’t pay and I would have to show her our receipt Again We won’t every go back just because of that

This place is very cozy Came here for 2 nights stayed for 3 Staff was wonderful making sure we had everything we needed

The room was very clean, king size bed, living room, small kitchen They have a pool table and washer and dryers Settled next to a park with a splash Pad, i stayed here at night and went to lake in stroud during the day This is a great place for family and people who work on the road

Location is good and not in the busy part of town The room design is horrible This is not what I would call a suite

The room is long and narrow just enough room at foot of bed to navigate the room Big flaw was the thermostat was next to door while the air conditioning unit was on the opposite side of room beneath the window The beds were near the windows so you either froze or you were hot

This weekend was our 2nd time of staying at this residence inn Love the one room suites They always have everything to make us feel at home

The staff is always helpful every time we stay Breakfast is always pretty good My kids were pretty bummed to see the pool was closed And we were bummed they stopped the supper meals they used to offer And the fire pit wasn’t working I’m sure by the next time we come down it’ll all be fixed Otherwise, very nice place to stay Will definitely stay again!

Charles Otis

Nice and comfy rooms Big suites in both I stayed in Nice touch to have a kitchen to use, though no need to use it

The ice maker in both would fill and not shut off, so that would overflow Also the heat/ac in the rooms really let you know they were on, very loud and sporadic – off 15 min on 5 min and forceful Earplugs recommended

J Wright

Deadbolt lock on room door didn’t work They said they would come fix it and never did I was there a whole week

There were also cockroaches in the dishwasher and dirty dishes in the cabinet When we asked for an extra blanket the guy at the front desks response was “yeah give me a minute” and hung up He never brought it, so after waiting 45 minutes we went down to the lobby to get it ourselves He was lounging on the couch watching TV but got up to get it for us The breakfast had one old banana and no other fruit and was lacking food options Nothing like any other Residence Inn I’ve stayed at Definitely won’t be back to this one! It also smelled like smoke in several parts of the building

I was here on business last weekend and I was VERY disappointed The bathroom was by far my biggest complaint Hair was all over the shower, on the shower curtain and floor

I didn’t catch this until I was in the shower and saw the amount of soap scum built up in the walls I complained about and asked for full service the next morning because it was late that evening before I was in the room and I had already unpacked everything I thought that would be it NOPE! During business the next day the room supposedly received full service I returned to everything looking EXACTLY the same except for the trash being taken out Even the hair on the shower curtain was in the EXACT same place as the night before I report it and I’m told it would be done in the morning NOPE! Same results The next morning I talk with the front desk manager, who was very helpful, and was assured it would be taken care of I asked for a call or text to let me know it was done because I wanted the entire room cleaned I even took the linen off the bed so there was no excuse not to change it We’ll, they did make up the beds and give us new towels, but that SAME HAIR was in the SAME PLACE as the previous days!!! Disappointed is an understatement I can’t believe that there is no attention to details and that they don’t even change shower curtains between guests Why would I want to sleep on the sheets?!! I asked for linen ever night because I didn’t trust that the sheets I was sleeping on were changed If I had been paying for this room, I would have gotten my money back This was completely unacceptable and not typical of any Hilton location I’ve ever stayed

Rebecca Allison

Room was very spacious and mostly clean The only thing I noticed that wasn’t clean was the top of the curtains that separated the bed from the living room area I used the key on the app and it worked well

It was a little more time consuming than a key card, but I appreciated being able to choose my room in the app and not having to check in at the front desk I didn’t try the breakfast, but it smelled delicious All the staff I came in contact with seemed very friendly All in all, it was a very comfortable stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again

Matt Eaton

There was no soap in the our room I went to the front desk and asked for soap and they said they have not had soap for some time due to supply issues This is unacceptable

This is unacceptable If you cannot supply basic items like soap you should not be offering hotel rooms I expect more from Hilton Mgmt should have bought soap from one if the 100s of nearby stores which all have ample soap supplies Also shower was nasty

Absolutely loved this hotel, it smells so good and is immaculate Beds were very comfortable The amenities are great too

They have a gym with lots of different workout machines, a great indoor pool, their breakfast is wonderful They serve sausage or bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy Fruit, yogurt cereals bagels, they have a nice vending area And meeting rooms too Parking was great The only issue and I wouldn’t call it that, was it took us a while to figure out the curtain next to the window under the sheer curtains was the one you could close their handles were hidden

Lucinda Walker

Hotel is very clean and staff is super friendly, front desk Assistant Manager is so friendly and helpful, the night shift worker a young man is was very helpful and professional with a situation I need resolved, and if you want your room cleaned beyond expectation ask for Tiffany, she won’t disappoint Rest of the staff is super friendly also, these were just the individuals I had the most Interactions with Will definitely be staying here again

Clifford Baker

So I wanted to start off by saying that the ladies at the front desk were very friendly, helpful, respectful, polite and all the positive things I could ever think ofThe rooms were sufficient enough for a 3 star hotel; However, the bathtub could use some work and cleaning The housekeeper’s did come in and provide more towels, but never changed the sheets

The most disturbing thing that I experienced was they have some dishonest employees that are working there The day I left I was an hour away from them and I called them immediately after I realized that I left some electronic devices behind the night clerk said that they would have to check with the housekeeping in the morning I called the next day and was told that no one found them, but they were clearly left in plain sight on the bed I was told that the room was empty and the only person that had when and near was someone from housekeeping Whoever took them I hope you’re blessed now that you have them in your possession but don’t ruin the image of this hotel

Saw some reviews before bookingthey included the room smelling musty, the air conditioner barely working, rude front counter person

I decided to take a gamble I know how a rude front counter person can just make the situation more unbearable That review was pretty dead on The air conditioner barely works The room smelled like guests went to the pool threw their wet stuff on the carpet and then they never aired the room out🤮 The front counter person was respectful not overly cheerful or anything but did her job and was respectful The walls need to be scribed looking kinda bad Definitely not worth the price Some of the other hotels in the area are better and priced better Not a fan and would not recommend it

Um Tareq Takieddin

I read some bad reviews but learned it is now under different management I loved this place The room was very clean, the staff was polite and nice

This is a pet friendly Inn There is breakfast which includes make your own pancakes 🥞 😋 I didn’t have an opportunity to swim in the pool; however it looked very inviting I would definitely stay here againThere is nothing negative to say about the hotel reallyI did not like the call center I had to call about a problem I was having with logging on to my membership for points The call center was not friendly Loved the lighting Usually the rooms are dark in hotels not here it was well lit

Blush & Bashful Boutique

The hotel itself appeared to be clean and well-maintained They do have a breakfast of various pre-packaged items, fruit, bagels and a pancake machine as well as juice They’re also pet friendly and only charge a $20 deposit which is awesome! Some charge that per day! The only complaint we have is the beds

They were SO incredibly uncomfortable! We will be paying a little extra next time to stay elsewhere

I enjoyed my stay at this motel, it seems like new management was a great choice My overall experience has improved since the last owners They were very friendly, I had extra towels without asking

The beds were very clean and tidy, the carpets were freshly vacuumed, the room smelled fresh and clean, toilet and shower looked pretty good other than a few stains, but otherwise clean All the appliances were very convenient and clean as well I would definitely recommend this motel to be a homie experience Management was very helpful as I locked myself out at a very unreasonable hour There’s I will definitely be visiting again

The customer service and professionalism was great The rooms appeared clean but were not Day everything appeared well

The next day I noticed housekeeping had not came in to clean, not a big deal but it was something that I had noticed The second day after a long day I decided to relax While adjusting the pillows I spotted a bug I goggle searched the bug and it said bed bug I was then moved to another room were there were more bed bugs and blood on the sheets I would highly recommend not staying here Having a bug issue such as bedbugs can be very costly to get rid of

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last year to watch our son play baseball at OSU The entire staff are the best around, and we stay in alot of hotels Tori is the absolute best! She is kind, friendly and always greets us with a huge smile

I booked a 6 day stay starting with my daughter the 1st day and wife and myself thr remainder 5 daysRoom and staff were great The promised breakfast was severly lacking if not at all

Excuse was that they did not have anything to cookManagement evidently could care less about the things that could take a hotel from mediocre to greatDon’t put stale store bought donuts in heating tins and pass it off as continental breakfastI know this was not any employee’s fault since every one I came in contact with were exceptionalManagement needs a serious looking at!!!Fred Sontag

Horrible! I travel for a living , Stayed there over a month Went home to Kansas City for a weekend, there was a man that went in there drunk and puked all over They said he was an employee of mine and charged me over $250 for cleanup when I wasn’t there

He was definitely not my employee they are mistaken He never stayed in my room They also leave for extended periods of time overcharge you There’s been people waiting at the front desk for over two hours while it’s left unattended in the evening, all that being said it is definitely a battle for the employees who am I feel bad for to try and keep a good attitude, as they are not supported by management nor owners who are the very cheapest worst Holiday Inn owners I’ve ever had unfortunate luck to stay I’ve stayed at 100 Holiday Inn‘s over the years this one is by far far far the worst! The owners and the management are the absolute absolute worst My hats off to you employees as you should all get together and sue them for bullying you as I’ve seen that happening

Hill Knowlton

Terrible hotel, poorly managed, and not clean Multiple dubious stains on the carpet of my room, which smelled of cheap cologne They do keep the lobby clean to lead you into a false sense that the rooms are actually clean, which they are not

Management is totally worthless, and are about as truthful as a used car salesman Have no idea why IHG allows this hotel to sully the name of Holiday Inn, but can only assume there is no quality control for the franchise any moreAvoid this place as everyone associated with it has no skills in the hospitality industry Keep your expectations very low should you have the misfortune of booking a room here and you will still be disappointed

Never will I ever STAY AT THIS DUMP!!!! The owners are nuts and I simply walked in and asked for a room for one night and looked online to make sure they had a room Available Seeing there is not a lot of vehicle in the parking lot and the owner told me their was not a room available I walked out and the owner came out of the side door while I was walking back to my car and started yelling something which made me think she was on something because I was very respectful and never would treat people they they did to me

It was honestly very disturbing and crazy because I didn’t understand what was being said And the worst place to even try to find a room for one night and who act the way she did It was just crazy to even have someone act in such a weird and disturbing way NEVER AGAIN!!!

Miranda Sisco

I chose to stay here because I am working in town and it was decently priced for 1 week stay the owner was friendly when I checked in I got to the room and it smelt awful and the walls were filthy and the filter’s on the air conditioner looked as if they had never been cleaned My first day there I was coming to and from work for my breaks and lunch and the owner’s sent an older gentleman to tell me there was to much traffic smh the only traffic was myself Then the next morning while I was still sleeping the owner’s wife tries just opening my door (I had it locked) so I get up and she rudely asks for our towels and tells me I don’t have a choice but to let her clean my room when I hand her the towels she informs me that I have to use my own towels because I’m not getting anymore

I do not recommend this place at all!

Lori Myers

Horrible horrible horrible Just go to lazy L!! This is the second time I came here and the lady owner (I guess) yelled at me the first time My husband works with concrete so he used the wash cloth in the shower and she got mad because the wash cloth was dirty

This second time she just walked right in and I was naked Yelling at me saying she has to come in Then she said we had a visitor and it had just been my husband and I this whole time saying we had to check out with no refund! I will never refer anyone or ever come back!!

I stayed in this Hampton Inn a total of 4 weeks during a recent business tripThe breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpfulThe rooms and hotel are comfortable and beautiful but to me the best part of my stay was seeing the adorable dogs at the front desk that allowed me to love on them every morning before I left for work and every evening when I arrived at the end of my day

I definitely recommend this hotel💜🙌

Elan Aviles

Hotel appears to be clean and well maintained If you would prefer to not be a given a room with stained bedding that is white, hairs left on both beds, in bathroom shower and soap dish you should go elsewhere Checked in well after midnight and upon calling numerous hotels there was no availability

I used my own bedding and showered elsewhere Upon check out the woman working showed no concern when advised of the room condition and simply charged me $21300 and said have a nice day

nicholas stock (Nick)

Everything was perfect I received outstanding service from Kenzie and Trinity at the front desk They were so helpful and accommodating with everything They even have a “mascot” named Buck; an awesome Golden Retriever who helps weary travelers get their dog fix in

The housekeeping staff was great as well Thank you for making my stay there in Stillwater great

It wasn’t our best stay ever, nor the worst On the good side, the shower was a thing of beauty – oh, how I enjoyed it And the included breakfast was decent

On the bad side, the walls and the refrigerator were disgustingly dirty And we had really been looking forward to using the pool and hot tub, but they were “closed due to Covid”, or “closed for repairs”, depending on which sign you believed

The Band Daily

Beware!!!Per front desk staff, the hotel was foreclosed on and is being managed by the bank As well as the indoor swimming pool amenity as mentioned on the website has been out of service since before covid19 and is in need of $65,000 worth of repairs to the ventilation Dogs were allowed to roam the hotel without a leash or collar of which one ran into our room while housekeeping was cleaning, agitating our dog

The hotel preauthorized our entire stay with our bank upon check-in, as well as pre authorizing each individual day – tying up our bank account Upon check out management made false claims of damage to the room and charged an additional $250 Manager was on staff and refused to communicate or send any of the forms requested via email I do not recommend this hotel to anyone

The rooms are very large and clean, and the hotel is close to campus It would have been a nice stay except for the bar There is a bar on the 4th floor, and if you are on 3 or 4 anywhere near that thing, you will not have a pleasant stay

The ceilings and walls were thumping with the bass and all the customer stomping until midnight, and you could clearly hear every lyric being screamed at the top of the bar patrons’ lungs Despite calling the front desk multiple times, they politely acknowledged it was a known problem, and there had been multiple complaints from other rooms as well, and “hopefully it will die down soon” That was the best they could do I’d rather stay somewhere else than risk being put on that side of the building ever again
