This is an excellent hotel and we really enjoyed our stay Check-in was smooth and the front desk person was very friendly The room was clean and well maintained

We had an opportunity to enjoy the pool area which was also clean and had adequate towels The breakfast had extensive options including breakfast sandwiches and burritos, egg and cheese omelettes, and a variety of other things I would certainly recommend this location and can easily say that it was one of the best locations we’ve stayed at

I blocked several rooms at the Manassas location for a wedding When I stopped by the hotel, the GM ( Shirley) was very nice and helpful Her follow through was excellent

The staff was friendly and all our guest really enjoyed the hotel I left gift bags for the guest which the front desk staff graciously passed out I would definitely recommend this hotel and use them again if needed

Will not stay here again Not up to Marriott standards and not well kept AC in room had trouble keeping up

The hallway and room smelled like curry or some other strong smell, it was so strong that it was giving us a headache After speaking with the front desk they did set an odor bomb in the room which took care of the smell, this should have been done prior to our arrival as it was extremely noticeable Getting late check out was a hassle and not in alignment with Marriott standards Shout out to the breakfast attendant that was extremely attentive and genuinely friendly, she made the stay a lot more enjoyable

My husband and I just got back from a wonderful weekend at the Red Fox Inn to celebrate my birthday Check-in went seamlessly My husband had worked with the Inn to arrange for flowers and champagne to be in the room when we arrived

Throughout the weekend the staff was fantastic, breakfast was delivered at our specified time, the room was so clean! This is a true relaxing place to stay and it is conveniently located in the middle of town Short drive away to different wineries We will definitely be back!

Red Fox Inn & Tavern, the oldest Inn in the country, had an amazing, Five Star dining experience consisting of four courses of the highest quality The service was second to none, top tier Thank you to Tim M

for creating an incredibly inviting atmosphere and excellent recommendations for dinnerPrix-Fixe Four Course Experience: $125 ppI can tell you that I made a couple of upgrades and parings to maximize the full experience and it was well worth every penny! You’ll see below, the lamb meatballs, grilled watermelon salad, wagyu bone-in ribeye, and strawberry/rhubarb shortcake with a cocktail and local Virginian wine, ending with a nice coffee and every single bite and sip was fantastic, prepared to perfection! I will let the pictures speak for themselves but the flavors were rich and complex, offering a delightful experience for the tastebuds My greatest compliments to the chef and team!I will be back!!DSG

We did the 4 course meal which was mostly ok I added the waygu steak and was extremely dissapointed The steak was not as good as a steak you could get at firebirds or other chain restaurant

Everything else was ok but not deserving of the price tag Service was 5 star, and saved the experience

When trying to check in the person at the service desk wouldn’t open the door for me, had to wait for another person checking in Once in the room there was a beeping noise that kept my wife up all night The room was not great; lights were out, bathroom tile were cracked and shower curtain rail was broken

The only brightside to our stay was housekeeping were very friendly and helpful The eateries near by are plentiful I have traveled many places and this experience was in the lower half have places i would recommend

Zeye

When I arrived I was charged a higher amount than what was told to me through the booking site this was fine I proceeded to go on but then was told I also wouldn’t be able to use my military discount and they said that I should have done that threw the booking site (I’ve stayed at The Courtyard in Ohio and any other hotel allowed me to show my military ID and applied the discount when I arrived) , but I shook that off as well Anytime I stay at hotels I record the room before and after when I checked out I was charged the correct amount, somehow the next day they processed an extra 100 dollars I was confused because I left everything neat and as it was, I called to ask why I was charged the extra amount and was told it was because of a lamp being broken and shedded into pieces and was given attitude when I asked for them to provide proof (which they could not provide) I disputed the charge and won due to there actually being no broken lamp and me providing proof to my bank and the hotel could not show that there was a broken lamp neither Customer service here was horrible and inexperienced

Couch was very worn but I have to say it was comfortableBed was comfortable and I got a good nights sleepWish the housekeeping team would have the outside of the balcony doors though Was good to open up the door but when it was closed all I saw were two dirty doors and the dirt was from outsideNothing complimentary though for breakfast, there is a food area but be prepared to pay upOne star less for the iron, honestly it was real sketchy and I couldn’t iron my shirt as I didn’t trust putting it on the shirt

We stayed on July 13, 22, if that helps with knowing who the staff was working The two gentlemen who checked us in and worked overnight were so very friendly and extremely helpful The two young ladies in the morning were so kind and helpful as well

The room was clean, beds comfortable, shower and the products were amazing Only thing I would have wished for was a hot tub/outdoor pool That would have been nice But not taking any stars away from the staff So friendly Thank you for all your help Will come again

I even saw someone cleaning the hvac filter The breakfast was great and free The workout room was nice and had a fresh water tank The pool is lovely Absolutely no complaints herewe will definitely stay here again

Michelle Francavilla

Great place to stop on a road trip We were offered a late check out which we didn’t need to use but was a very nice offer to have Cookies at the check in desk were also a nice touch

The only glitch was we arrived around 10:30pm and the crib was supposed to be waiting in the room for us but since it was not our little girl woke up and would not go back to sleep until 1am

Palwaschar Nawabi

Room was very clean and staff was very friendly and welcoming When we checked out we forgot my daughters AirPods and charger They called us and left a message the same day and let us know we had forgotten it in the room

I called them back and asked them to mail it to us and they mailed it back We will definitely stay there again whenever we visit Virginia again

My low score for this particular visit is due in part to the very rude waiter at the hotel restaurant I had picked up an order from doordash which consisted of a single apple pie, an erroneous order, and was sharing with my flight crew co-workers the mess up They had just finished eating dinner at the hotel restaurant and were seated in the lobby dining area

After my colleague expressed she didn’t truly enjoy her pureed squash with tofu and salad, I decided to share the one apple pie that I received with her and my other co-worker The waiter approached me from behind pretty indignant that I couldn’t bring food from the outside into the restaurant It was pretty aggressive for no reason at all Then my room was cold for hours after turning the heat up and the engineer had to come fix it He entered my room while I was in the lobby and when I came in he was pretty forceful about me coming back into the room using the key in my hand because he needed to be sure the room was mine (he had the door propped open with the deadbolt) My work photo ID was on the desk and the key in my hand was still in the case which displayed the room number I’ve stayed at this hotel at least 45 to 50 times in the last 2 years and this was the most unpleasant visit They need to step up their customer service and remember their position when the pandemic hit and they were reliant upon foreigners and flight crews to occupy their hotel at 60% in order to keep their doors open It’s not hard to be nice I hope for a better experience in the future

The two things that are absolutely required for you to be a hotel are beds and showers My shower was broken Ridiculous!UPDATE: In reply to the response below from Joel Fuller, I did contact the front desk but when I had 30 minutes to get myself and my son showered and out the door there was nothing they could do

How did the staff clean my shower adequately? Wouldn’t they notice the problem if they were cleaning the shower correctly, not just running some water through it? We both know the answer, they didn’t clean I have also have photos of the trash that was left shoved in between the furniture from the previous occupants So again, we know how well they cleanedI hope that when people read this, and your patronizing reply, they realize that you don’t really care “Next time call the front desk” is a pretty weak response to completely dropping the ball on having a working shower

AJ Prussin

Have always loved this hotel, BUT I booked a room for June and cancelled more than a month before arrival date (it was a cancelable reservation) I received confirmation email for canceling from Marriott I spoke with Sunny Singh on Saturday and forwarded him email

He confirmed he received it and promised it would be fixed that day and someone would respond The charge has not been reversed and there has been no further communication

I stayed here for a week for a work trip and my stay was nothing short of AMAZING!! The staff was INCREDIBLE and accommodating ( all the way from check-in to cleaning staff) Common areas were gorgeous and my room was spotless! I never even had to ask for anything for the entire week Towels and wash cloths were replaced every morning and bed was made perfectly! Everyone who worked at the restaurant downstairs were so nice and amazing as well

This is the first time I’ve stayed at a hotel and was legitimately sad about leaving! Will be back in a week! Wish I could give 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating They were more helpful then expected and willing to go the extra mile I love the fact that there were many restaurants and stores within walking distance

The breakfast was plenteous and delicious The rooms were clean had a microwave refrigerator, sink, sofa and two comfortable beds I definitely plan on returning

Tyrone

Nice, well maintained hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful Room was clean and comfortable, not drafty or noisy

We will definitely stay here again in the future Looks like it will be a nice trip in the spring and summer Unless you do valet you will have a walk in from the parking lot and if it is busy you may have a bit of a walk in store for yourself I recommend dropping bags and passengers at the door and only the driver deal with the walk This leads to a quieter hotel though in my opinion, even surrounded by roads Tucked away in the woods is really a nice touch and one of the things that drew us in

I stayed there 3/18/22 The only reason I give it 4 stars is because there was hair on the shower wall that was there beforehand I feel we are paying good money, it should have been clean

And the steam shower was still broken in the spa (not as big of a deal though) The restaurant (room service) and the spa totally made up for our unhappiness with the shower not being clean The room service is phenomenal! Super fast service and accurate Nice, hot, and delicious food! Yum! Everything is definitely farm fresh or at least it seems The spa treats you like a queen I was there for my birthday this time, and Christine T gave me the seasonal awakening treatment (winter) She was so amazing and kind She made sure to apply just the right amount of pressure She listened to me and it was very relaxing I really like how she made me feel comfortable as well (I have social anxiety) I’ve been to many spas and she is by far the best massage therapist I have ever encountered I will be going back because of her and the great food!

Second time staying here The first time we were upgraded to an estate room- thought that was so nice This time we brought our dog and are staying in the terrace rooms- hello! These are not a downgrade, they are just as fabulous

I actually prefer the terrace, being able to walk right out onto these gorgeous grounds is fantastic The terrace is so private I love this entire resort Everyone is so friendly This place has great energy, I’m so happy here Having our dog with us makes it feel like home, it’s so awesome that they allow pets We only live ~ 30 minutes from here but it’s such a fun getaway that the whole family looks forward to

This Hilton Garden Inn is a nice place to stay If you prefer a bathtub in your room, that’s still an option at this hotel The breakfast options are convenient and depending on your Hilton Honors level could be included with your stay

The staff is friendly and do their best to accommodate guests It would be nice if coffee was available throughout the day at no cost to guests However, they do have free coffee in your room and a coffee machine in their small convenience shop for a fee I’ve stayed at this location dozens of times I definitely would recommend staying here for a short or long term stay

My husband and I stayed for two nights while waiting out a winter storm Our room was clean a spacious Check in was fast and easy

Staff was friendly The bartender Mohamed aka Moe was awesome He was friendly and gave us great service He also helped us melt the ice off our uhaul door With out his help it would have taken us an hour to get the ice off! We enjoyed our stay

I gave this hotel a 3, and here’s why Though upon first entry of the facility you can see how well the maintenance upkeep is and the color catching, aesthetically pleasing to the eye reaction, the underbelly is where I have fault The rooms are beautiful and the staff is amazing, but lack of hot (steaming) water and comfortable beds leaves me wanting

I have enjoyed my stay, but I will be leaving tomorrow to seek somewhere that feels a little bit more like home Thank you for your courtesyUPDATE: I did leave the hotel, however I came back to the area and this hotel was the only hotel in the area that would accommodate my truck and trailer This go around, the bed is comfortable Haven’t tried the hot water yet Not too happy that they remembered me and placed me on the first floor next to the gym Oh well, I’m just grateful to have a place to stay

Stayed here 25 – 29 July with my wife who was attending a work conference If you’re not staying at this hotel – you’re missing out Wonderful staff, super clean rooms, great breakfast and drink bar, pool n workout room super clean

Staff at the front desk greet you each and every time you they see you This is one of finest hotels we’ve stayed at in a very long time! A+ Hilton, A+

Michelle Gates

Most of the staff is friendly and tries but there is an overall lack of communication, quality, and supplies, especially on the weekend Also, the walls are paper thin Don’t plan on getting much sleep

In general, the cost of stay does not match services rendered There are other less expensive hotels nearby Be sure to lock your vehicle, and watch your surroundings throughout the local area

Johnathan M

Came here because my house plumbing went down south This hotel has been nothing short of getting the job done with a clean and hospitable environment I’ve really enjoyed peaceful location and being so close to all the shopping

Would highly recommend if you need a nice, but not luxury hotel that won’t make you sell a first born in the DC area

This is a nice hotel worth staying in again Though the room was a cramped, dark-walled rectangular, with a toilet too low and close to the shower, it had a couple nice features The desk was well placed and the couch was comfortable

The room had a defined living room and bedroom, with the rooms well separated with a half-wall and large TV mounted to it that easily turned to face the living room or the bedroom The fitness room looked good, but I did not see the pool The hotel staff was fantastic from front desk to housekeeping The food was just OK We had a little indigestion from their evening buffet, which may have been due to eating too much I would not dine at the hotel in the future The court yard was great, and I loved the flowering crape myrtle tree there

R

Clean, convenient, and well managed These days, it’s hard to predict what you’ll get from a hotel that was traditionally great pre- pandemic The service was friendly, rooms were reasonably clean, and we were treated to a view of the planes from Dulles taking off and landing from our room

Queen rooms had an ample seating area which was an unexpected surprise We ate dinner and breakfast there – it was at a traditional business hotel price point and with a lack of restaurants in walking distance, performed well When taking off for an early flight from Dulles, I would definitely stay here again

Victoria Gorman

The rooms were very nice and organized I was staying for a school trip and was only in the room for 2 nights but it was great, the only thing that made me question the hospitality was the front desk I had kindly asked for extra towels because we only had one and the lady just gave me attitude

My roommates even said it was kinda hostile The breakfast was very good though, the pancakes were my favorite But it was a great stay and I would totally recommend it!
