We had a wonderful stay at the Inn on La Loma Plaza Peggy, the owner, was so welcoming and provided us with many great suggestions for places to eat and things to do Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable

We were provided with all of the amenities we could want In addition, a complimentary gourmet breakfast was served each morning The hotel was in a great location with an easy walk into the center of town I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this inn in the future

Brigid Galloway

The Inn at La Loma Plaza was a true oasis! Peggy, owner & hostess supreme, accommodated our last minute reservation with grace and warmth After a week of camping, it was a rainy night and we were happy to be in the well-appointed inn with all its homey amenities The room was well-equipped and comfortable and quiet

Breakfast was delicious (eggs florentine, sausage, toast, fresh fruit, coffee, juice and banana bread!) We we walked to dinner at Fleming’s at Peggy’s recommendation and had an amazing dinner Only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful tranquil grounds Highly recommend! Thank you, Peggy!

I loved everything about this place The only thing that was not great were the hours of the fitness room did not work out with my work schedule Even had a DVD player in the room and a huge selection of DVDs downstairs available to checkout

They even give you microwave popcorn when you check out a DVD Central location close to downtown Laundry machines are free Bed was so comfortable Just a wonder experience and if I ever return I will definitely book there again

Kerrilyn

This is a beautiful facility and beds are so comfy! If you are used to staying at WorldMark you might miss the usual full kitchen and in suite laundry but the amazing location (walk to all the shopping, dining and museums) and it’s gorgeous New Mexico handcrafted woodwork more than make up for it (The small kitchenettes and shared large and clean laundry are adequate for most purposes) Front desk staff was genuinely friendly and helpful

kellie tatge

The front desk and other staff were excellent and super friendly People here were 5-star The problem was the beds and bedding were so uncomfortable we cut our stay 3 days short

Beds were Murphy and pullout and had the back bar/ bump issues you’d expect Very uncomfortable The blankets were scratchy, think being covered in coarse beard hair or a green dishwashing scrubber We tried to switch rooms and bedding, but those were not options during the stay The pool was closed and a strong skunk smell came from the park next door, so the balcony was not pleasant We gave up on our vacation after three nights of no sleep and needing a trip to the chiropractor We were truly miserable Try the resort if you can get a king size bed and bring your own blanket Otherwise, skip it

Maryann Mendez Zavala

I really liked the hotel, where my room was located, it was quiet and the grounds were well kept They are pet-friendly and the staff is friendly I did have an issue with our reservation, they had us down for one night when we had made reservations for 2, so we ended up locked out of our room

The lady at the front desk waited for the manager to get off the phone to help (by the way there was another person who had been locked out of their room waiting) but the manager didn’t seem concerned, so the front desk lady just let us in our room Also, the extra blanket and pillow were not sealed in a bag and looked dirty But overall, I did like my stay

J Kimbrough

The restaurant, Palette, is pretty good here I notice a lot of locals come for breakfast The dinner menu could do with a soup or lighter choice other than salad

The staff are great The reason for three stars is the property needs something extra for the extra price It reminded me of a Hampton Inn inside the rooms Clean and serviceable, but nothing that feels like a special “collection” Also, since it is a few miles out of village-center, it would be more worth the price if it had that extra oomph in the rooms or an outdoor garden/sitting area

Diwakar Goel

I wish could give negative remarks If I get the opportunity, Hotel should improve on following-Make hotel staff honest with customer and try to resolve issues, instead of redirecting to their manager with excuse-Keep room service & room cleanliness-Do what they say? Instead of just moving customer in circles

-This is bad behavior to just dropped the call and don’t pickup There should be curtsey to their customers-Hotel should only make required charges, they need to learn maths Don’t just call out credit for doing wrong math I did correct them 3 times during my stay and still needed to follow up several times to correct-Restaurant – I wish could have fresh food cooked It taste like “Ready to eat” and being told this is what it is and there is nothing better Their rooms have smoke smell and their room service is not available or takes hours to respond

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Edelweiss It was our first time at TSV, and the Edelweiss team went above and beyond to make our stay as stress-free as possible Even during the summer, they were able to find us a chef for dinners and a babysitter to watch our two children while my husband and I enjoyed an evening out

Also, we both had massages with Tammy that were wonderful All you need is in the room, and if you find something else you need, they will find it We will be back It was such a wonderful family trip that we extended our stayThank you!

Keith Coombs

Rooms are spacious and super clean Everything is very nice Seems to be updated very recently

The bed is very comfortable Lots of TV channels Has a mini fridge and a microwave I love that the bathroom has a separate door to the toilet Shower was amazing Has a spa; awesome workout room; sauna; hot tub We had to arrive late and they had everything for us-even emailed and left a message for us with the garage code We will definitely stay here next time we are in Taos Ski Valley

Alex Koglin

Beautifully appointed ski resort condominium hotel with spacious slope-facing rooms that offers ski-in/ski-out from it’s private courtyard a separate skier’s entrance has assigned and heated boot lockers with hot air dryers, ski racks are located in the courtyard and has a heated garage The staff is exceptionally friendly and pays attention to details

The associated ski shop and rental place is very convenient, well stocked and is operated by excellent and knowledgeable staff The real highlight is it’s restaurant, Blonde bear tavern, which has never disappointed, but always amazes

Chris Britton

The hotel is definitely historic and has a charm to it and the location is good the room was clean and looked good However that’s all the good I can say about it we check in and turn the A/C on in a 80°F room and unload the car We wait an hour and the temperature only goes up so we talk to the front desk and they don’t have any extra rooms but give us a box fan

For an 80-85° room for 250$+ a night no refunds The front desk lady was nice offered us drinks and the manger even revoked that idea In short, stay for the history but don’t assume you will get a functioning room If you have a choice get a new room or at least check to make sure things work first

Branson Lee

Very old building but has a nice touch when it comes to decor The staff was friendly and although booking messed up my reservation the manager made it right The rooms private and quaint but they do not have a microwave or a coffee machine

There was also no hair dryer This hotel is haunted and there is a lot of activity throughout the night Room 109 has the lady in white, whom we definitely saw! Over all we had a great stay and would definitely be back!

Steve Kahley

I feel like a few touches would have made it a better experience we were there for the weekend to ski there were only two towels the room is on the very rustic side there were only two hangers in the closet i feel like a few touches like a radius shower curtain in a few more amenities would have made a big difference It felt very motel 6 The staff was extremely friendly and it’s a pleasant place to have a drink

Awesome experience! The experience was wonderful Property owner Marybeth is extremely friendly and helpful Property is very well maintained and the garden is like an oasis

We were relaxing in the hammock and Marybeth saw us and asked if we would like some cold lemonade She brought some to us instead of having us get up to get it We would definitely go back1 night trip, Aug 5, 2021

Even with the few hiccups I had on my trip, this place really helped lighten the traveling load I found in Taos demeanors swung from welcoming, warm and friendly to persnickety, judgemental and blatantly arrogant Mary Beth was spectacular regarding ensuring guests were taken care of, I truly appreciated how much she poured into the place as a whole

I really enjoyed my stay in the Kokopelli room Thank you!!! Would really like to return somedayHidden off really narrow streets you’ll find this place Rooms have their own designated parking spots I enjoyed my room being the furthest into the yard, packing in luggage was a jaunt Mary Beth was understanding when I left in piling my bags by the fence and backing in to load when I left The parking spot for the room was the furthest corner and with a tight parking area, it can be hectic Just communicate with her and she’s really understanding which I appreciated The night I arrived, I had weeks before let Mary Beth know I wouldn’t make the check in time of 3-5 They can set things up to where it wasn’t an issue, but I had discovered from my phone call with the weekend gal Devina that she however wasn’t too thrilled I did that Lastly the breakfast Mary Beth put together the one morning I could attend, awesome It’s an actual big home cooked gourmet breakfast Anything you need, she’s got you covered Thank you again!

I was highly impressed with my stay at this lovely hotel My experience began with an incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating checking with Jordanne (unsure on spelling) She was absolutely lovely and made me feel right at home! Also her adorable outfits and beautiful makeup 🙂 Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed

The second floor location with a balcony was a plus too The next day, we were pleasantly surprised with a delicious and generous hot breakfast with a large variety of offerings Gloria was simply wonderful and attentive as a breakfast attendant She was one of the highlights of our stay there! I certainly hope that all guests don’t skimp on the tip jar, because she certainly deserves to be compensated for her excellent service Thank you Pueblo Lodge for a five star stay!

Wendy Taylor

We loved this motel so much we decided to spend an extra day in Taos Such a relaxing atmosphere! Like a resort without the high priceWhenever there’s an impeccably clean tub, I love to take a bath

The bathtub here was almost impeccably clean, the best I’ve seen in years! The lodge serves an outstanding complimentary hot breakfast with most of the standard items you’d expect to see at any hotel plus a large spread of local favorites including beans, burritos, warm tortillas, moist tamales and a sauteed vegetable mixAnother thing this motel does well is encouraging guests to socialize by providing plenty of common seating, patios, snacks, grills, etcA great place to stay!

Brittany Christensen

We had an amazing stay at El Pueblo Lodge! Our room was so cute with a little patio area on the balcony and a fire place The bed was super comfortable and we slept great! It’s centrally located so we were able to walk to a ton of shops, galleries, and restaurants Oh, but the breakfast… BEST HOTEL BREAKFAST EVER! Definitely the best part of the stay

Lots to choose from and the highest quality I’ve ever had with a hotel We will definitely be coming back to stay!

The Santiago Room was one of the most unusual and extraordinary hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in, with 19th century oil paintings on the walls, unique southwestern curios abounding, a beautifully tiled bath, Persian carpeting, rustic and velvet-upholstered furnishings, and a delightfully comfortable king-sized bed The courtyard is both modest and otherworldly And the proprietor Paco is a kindly, courteous, amiable, knowledgeable, and very warm person

I highly recommend the La Dona Luz!

Brenda Schmalz

Such a beautiful place to spend your time in Taos It has wonderful family history and there is southwest art and artifacts throughout every inch of this property For the truly southwest experience, I don’t think you can beat this place for the money

It is also very central to all the downtown within walking distance of all the shopping and restaurants

RADARguru

The location is perfect as it is right across the street from the Historic Plaza It’s also in walking distance to the Smith’s grocery store down the street and many restaurants and brew pubs Paco was a wonderful host and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit We will be back soon!

Wonderful experience staying here for 2 nights during a ski trip to Taos The room was very comfortable and cozy, with southwestern charm The breakfast and coffee were easy and hit the spot

I wish breakfast was served a bit earlier than 8am 7:30 would have been better for those of us needing to leave to get to the mountain in time for opening The hot tub was nice and hot and easy to access I wish I had been staying here longer

Diane Baker

Thanks to the truly dreadful food served at the yoga retreat, I lost 3 pounds in a week! This is a lovely, comfortable, rustic lodge with pleasant facilities The lodge was bought by a Los Angeles real estate developer who also owns a yoga studio He took possession the day before our yoga retreat convened

For some reason, the food served to us was the cheapest quality, with prison-like repetition, (vegan/non-gluten, which can be great, but not here Not even a tortilla, and nary a chili…nor garlic, nor tomato???) The young man who ‘cooked’ was sweet and incompetent…and did I say sweet? Our group bonded over the food horrors which we’ll always have as memories together As mentioned, I was happy to be motivated to eat less My jeans fit! If you stay here, be sure that they’ve upgraded their kitchen efforts or eat elsewhere Enjoy the lovely grounds, the cozy warm rooms, the historic chili pepper-shaped pool… if it’s open, the pretty verandah, the awesome starry sky

I worked here for over a month, trust me when I say do not bother giving your money to these people, the keep the rooms at bare minimum standard, and then marketed as rustic or whateverSome pillow cases don’t get washed everyday, you’d be lucky if your comforter was washedEggs in the kitchen aren’t refrigeratedAt times they didn’t inform housekeepers of possible COVID in the rooms

Coming from the Albuquerque area, I called to make sure I can check in early 11 – 11:30am The front desk said, “we will have a room available for you” I got there at 11:30am

I was told rooms were not available My children and I ate lunch outside on the premises I had an appointment at noon that I pushed out an hour 12:30 I asked the front desk lady if we can check in She replied,” I have not gotten a report from my cleaning staff” 15 minutes later I asked if she has an update, I needed to figure out what to tell my appointment She gave the same answer I had to take my children to my appointment Once it was over, we hung out in the lobby until 3pm I was not able to see any customers My day was over The reason I stayed is to maximize my time to see customers To top it off, there was a couple who arrived around 2:30pm that received a room before us I will no longer stay at that hotel after that experience

Michael Shroll

The hotel had ongoing maintenance which is not a problem for me knowing they’re improving the facilitiesThe staff overall provided excellent service and went above and beyond to accommodateCynthia was especially helpful with the reservation changes we had during our stay

Her computer knowledge and willingness to help saved us a lot of headaches

Pablo Arias

Stayed for 2 nights during spring break We are satisfied with the hotel and staff The hotel is a bit outdated, but the rooms are renovated and the common areas are comfortable and welcoming

The beds are comfortable, nice pillows and comfy blankets The bathroom tub is losing the paint and makes it look ugly, but it was clean WiFi worked great and the and breakfast had multiple options The light roast coffee was actually way better than expectedWe had a great experience with the staff at the hotel, but a terrible experience with one of them prior to the stay I made reservations through my company perks website, which used Bookingscom For some reason the reservation got split into 2 reservations, one for each room The staff at the hotel could not find one of the reservations I had to go back and forth between Bookinscom and Hilton until finally they solved the problem (It took days) Everything was sooth except the 2 times I had to talk to the person at the hotel, which was extremely and unnecessarily rude She basically was not trying to help me resolve the problem but kept repeating what I already knew and treating me codependently I did not caught her name but saw her during my stay and recognized her voice She looked pretty unhappy, and was smoking a lot outside I guess she might be going through a difficult timeI would certainly recommend and most likely would stay here if I come back to Taos

The room was neat, clean, large and welcoming with little amenities you wouldn’t normally think of The staff was friendly and helpful Our room had a lovely view of the plaza

The only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars is because it appears to have been built in stages with each floor multi-levels Even though there is an elevator from the parking lot, you may still have to negotiate stairs with your luggage when coming and going

Really great location, located in Taos Plaza which I did not realize before booking It was really great because we just walked everywhere It’s really beautiful around the hotel

Was decently surprised by how well kept the hotel was due to its age I wish the furniture was more true to the culture and style here though Also, I would note that the front desk lady locked the door that leads to the parking lot around 8:30 pm which seemed kind of odd to me nonetheless dangerous I would think

This hotel is quintessential Taos, right on the plaza, can walk to everything you need Great staff, flexible and accommodating Hotel is old but clean and well kept, just what you want in Taos IMO

Rooms have all the conveniences you would expect in a modern hotel, but with a Taos vibe, exactly why you should stay here Great coffee shop in lobby No bar in hotel but several nearby This was a ski trip and skiing was awesome

This Inn is a gem! The artistic décor both in the room as well as the exterior is amazing It’s really more like a B&B because a wonderful homemade breakfast comes with it Robert’s mushroom/broccoli quiche was light-n-fluffy and perfect

Homemade bread for toast along with all the amenities Nice pool and outdoor seating area too Super friendly innkeepers who, if I recall, have been perfecting their business for 20+ years

This place is wonderful in so many ways it’s hard to know where to start The inn reminds one of how it might have been back when the inn keeper had pride in making everything perfect The owner, Robert, is an exceptional person

Very committed to the guests satisfaction The parking is easy in front of the heavy wood doors The room my wife and I stayed in had a Georgia O’Keefe print on the wall The beds were comfortable and cozy Very clean and nicely decorated The lobby had decor that is in tune with New Mexico culture The wood burning fireplace in the lobby, which is more like a combination large living room and dining room is warm and pleasantThe included breakfast had home made quiche/frittata that was better than any I had at a restaurant The fresh baked bread and fresh baked orange-cranberry bread (also warm and fresh from the oven) were superb The coffee hot and good The orange juice cold and fresh tastingAll in all a great place to stayMy very highest recommendations!!

I stayed here with my mother a week ago for 4 nights This place is wonderful! All four nights were accommodating and comfortable The location was fantastic being just a short 2 minute drive right to the middle of Taos

The owner of the inn was active on site and we chatted many times between his various tasks Super friendly and kept everything running very smoothly Rooms were nice and homey with very comfortable beds The grounds and pool was very inviting and well maintained Lots of area to hang out after a long day of driving and sightseeing! It was so great and I honestly can not think of any bad things to say If you are looking for a nice cozy spot to visit Taos at, This is absolutely the right place to stay!

We loved our visit to Old Taos Guesthouse The room was roomy and the bed comfortable The innkeepers were friendly and made us feel very welcome

The breakfast was served in the main lodge room We enjoyed the fruit cup and quiche, as well as the muffins and coffeeThe location is out of the downtown historic area so it’s necessary to drive and park when visiting the historic area This is the only negative comment I could possibly makeOur experience here was terrific and we look forward to returning

Go here! It’s amazing! My husband and I stayed for two nights in February Our room was beautiful and comfortable and cozy (but also large!) It was so nice we we didn’t want to go out after we got back from skiing, so we found takeout and spent several hours by the fire

The breakfast is delicious, the hosts are so welcoming and kind We will be back!!

Dee Spencer

Hi! This is Dee Spencer I was one of five guests, as our friends were Rawjer, Ted Bradshaw, Melinda, and Steve, my husband ( oh, and Fawkes , the dog )

I want to express how wonderful our stay was here! The hosts were great, and the breakfast chef , Mary ( Marie?) was extraordinary in her cooking skills and presentation for our morning breakfasts She goes above and beyond the usual fare If you have any food sensitivities or allergy, they will take your requests seriously The grounds outside are lovely, with grass, a small creek running by in the front, blooming trees, and dog-friendly for those who need it Backyard views over the plains and mountains, looking west, are superb My husband, Steve, and I have stayed here in the past, years ago , when the owners were Tim and Leslie, and that was a wonderful experience, as well Great folks! After three pandemic years, or not getting back to Taos during that time, it was renewing and refreshing once again, to be here I would recommend this guesthouse , and place to rest and sleep, and eat and dream, to anyone! It maintains it’s charm, history, old Taos feel, comfort, and care all through the years Congratulations, “new” or present owners, and staff!Loyally,Dee Spencer

My wife and I stayed at Adobe and Pines the first week of August 2022, with our dog We all really enjoyed out stay Christine and her staff are very friendly and welcoming of us and our dog

The property is beautiful The room was great The courtyard available to our room was a great place to allow our dog out We had access to a private hot tub that was well welcomed after our regular hikes and other outdoor activities (Please be aware that access to a hot tub and/or courtyard is dependent upon the room you choose)Christine creates a different breakfast menu every morning that is tasty and unique Many of the items presented are not something I would not necessarily order on my own, I encourage everyone to take this opportunity to expand their palette, as I did Everything was very tasty, even if it may not have been my personal choice walking in But, it is important that to note that if you have special dietary considerations or concerns, all you need to do is let the staff know ahead of time, and they will try to adjustments as they can I think it is also important to note that as many of the ingredients as possible are grown on the property Nothing is quite like fresh juiced apples that you see grown outside your roomChristine is very willing to have conversations with her guests and share ideas and recommendations of activities to partake in while in TaosI requested a wine/cheese/fruit tray to be provided in-room upon arrival It was very good and hit the spot after a long drive in I also requested an in-room massage for my wife after our horse trail ride Christine worked with local talent and coordinated everything for us based on our requestsDefinitely recommend

This review cannot even do justice to how you will feel when stay here The oasis that you walk into is beyond amazing! The breakfast is fresh, healthy and made from love! The staff is beyond kind and attentive We came up for a wedding and the owner invited the bride to come to the zen garden and labyrinth and it was a magical experience! We will be returning, thank you again!

My wife and I were staying in town with an airbnb but needed a charge for our Tesla (I forgot my J1772 adapter at home oops!) and so I contacted Christine She was very nice and let us use the charger even though we weren’t even guests there We enjoyed several great hours at the Inn and had some great conversation and coffee and cookies

We plan to come back to Taos and stay at the Inn next time What a wonderful place We are very thankful for Christine and cannot thank you enough for your help See you again soon!
