The staff were all very kind and friendly, and check-in and check-out were a breeze! The room was clean and bed was quite comfortable Breakfast service was outstanding – better than the usual boxed cereal and packaged pastries you get at a lot of other places The out-of-the-way location was perfect, as it was quiet (even during the day, which was nice since I’m a day sleeper), and it is still close enough to restaurants and shopping that there is no inconvenience

Will definitely recommend to anyone, and am looking forward to staying there again

Diana Cuesta

So this is not a luxury hotel but it sure is clean and that staff was friendly and attentive The room was comfortable as was the bed Why am I giving this hotel a five star rating, they serve breakfast which is included w the room fee

Real breakfast like waffles made ro order, biscuit and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon (they should use better quality sausage and bacon but hey you’re not paying extra to eat and that is a great saving They also have cereal, oatmeal, coffee and a variety of juice

Aisling Brogan

The room was very clean, and the property is new/well taken care of in general, a good supply of free coffee in the lobby, the pool and gym are open good hours 6am-12am, and they have a hot breakfastThe front desk staff was hit or miss, we asked for towels and were told to leave them outside the door if we wanted new ones, which we did but no new towels were dropped off, and when we asked the front desk the next morning the lady rudely told us that “there are 81 rooms, we will get to you when we get to you” They never did get to us and we ended up having to use two remaining towels between 3 people for two days

Additionally the water in the hot tub was green and smelled funky

This place was in much better condition 4 years ago, like night and day First room very smokey Second room smelled fine but floor hadn’t been mopped well in a long time

I know Red Roofs are hit or miss, but I’d only stay here again if I had to It was a free night(points) and the owners were extremely nice, but nothing else was good Bed very hard Weed smell from neighbors very strong for a while I’d keep driving

Zia B

I walked into this hotel without a reservation, I was offered a non smoking king The guy at the front desk was very friendly and courteous The room is really smoke smelly, almost unbearable

I can’t believe this is a non smoking room If smoke smell bothers you I would opt for a different hotel Otherwise the room is clean enough, floor has been mopped The room definitely has seen better days but it was very affordable

Faith Collins

First night we walked in and it was gross, like the floors had never been mopped The water is so chemical smelling i wouldn’t give it to my dog It smells like a old swimming pool

The next night we asked to switch rooms an they declined Then we found a bed bug and they finally moved us Last night we told them we would be checking out later and they agreed on 12:30 They kicked me out at 11:30 Mind you it is 96 outside and i’m 20 weeks pregnant They did offer me to stay in the lobby but i have a dog and don’t have a leash Save your money, I promise you won’t enjoy your stay here

If you’re traveling in the area needing a place for the night or a few days this is the place! Beautiful, run well and friendly staff Showers and restroom pristine We just showed up without reservations and got a nice pull through

As nice as this place is it might be wise to call ahead for reservations especially on weekends or Holidays Added bonus Flying J is well within a quarter mile for fuel and that morning coffee ☕

Great find! We were looking for a last minute place to stop and we’re so glad we found this place It was perfect for what we needed it for We would definitely stay here again!Pros1

Friendly staff2 Clean/ seems fairly new3 Easy on/off highway 404 Amenities: wifi, pool, activity room with treadmill and pool table, restrooms, dog run, and a little playground for the kids Laundry room is open 24 hours – It has 3 washers & 3 dryers that cost $150 each5 Affordable – We only paid $3410 for one night (including tax)!6 Denny’s, Pilot, and a little bar within walking distanceCons1 Potholes – If you have low ground clearance pull in slow! Theres no pavement They laid down small stones around the entire park2 Road noise – It didn’t bother us though3 Spaces are close – We could barley extend our awnings or they would touch the coach next door4 No concrete pad to enjoy a bbq or to put out chairs

Clean room Comfy bed Hot breakfast was good with usual selections (no waffles though😀)

Chocolate chip cookies in the lobby! Parking was easy Lots of people enjoyed the pool Only bad part was check in Person very distracted, talking on phone to friend, tending to kids and grandkids we presume But he got the job done Good price Meets all of my criteria for a quick stay on a family trip

This is absolutely the best Best Western we’ve ever stayed in They are definitely coming up the par as a remodel Their hotels

This one had a remodel already The beds were comfortable The pool was super nice Breakfast was awesome and we got about the best deal we’ve had in a long time Price wise Would stop again even if we had to pay full price

trylesta

Great hotel! Friendly, helpful, and funny staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, pretty comfy beds, working A/C (so necessary when it’s 103 degrees out!), and a decent breakfast I attached a picture of my beautiful view, because I thought this kind of thing only happened in cartoons and thought other travelers might enjoy it as much as I did Note: I laughed for a long time, and wasn’t upset about the view because I wasn’t there to admire the scenery

The clerk offered to change my room, but it wasn’t worth it to me for one night For anyone else who might be worried about the view, I’m pretty sure the room I was in was the only one with the “problem” Seriously, though, thanks for the good night’s stay!

Jakeyah Berry

Pros: Affordable price, clean room when first entering, looks nice and renovated, free breakfast, pool and right off highwayCons: breakfast choices and quality was not good, there was trash under both of my beds in my room so housekeeping is not cleaning under them, I heard gunshots when laying in bed to go to sleep, pool was not heated and there is no hot tub overall I would recommend staying here

Check in was fantastic! The person who checked us in was amazing and very friendly However, as soon as we got into our room I could tell that it was not clean The towels that were from the previous guest were just shoved in weird places, there was a toy left in plain sight and the room was extremely warm

We asked for fresh towels and took the toy to the front Front desk even admitted of being short cleaning staff and they just have “just missed,” some things Not exactly what you wanna hear during COVID times I will say that front desk offered to change rooms, but our baby was already getting a bath for bed When we asked if there was a fan or how to make it cooler, she told us to make it warmer? My husband ended up buying a fan for our stay All together, I am not very happy with our stay If we didn’t need the room I would have walked out

GGCC78

Thank you for the wonderful stay! Service was great, super clean and quiet room, and breakfast was good Everyone was so friendly, and had a great sense of humor too Right from the front desk to the ladies cleaning the rooms

We will definitely be back at this locationUnlike the Lonoke location They gave us the noisiest room and claimed there was an ice storm the night we checked in because they didn’t want us driving in the storm so it was a favor to us There was NOT an ice storm that night!

We like this hotel and have stayed here many times I was disappointed that this time they were under renovations We arrived with family and children who wanted to get in the pool but was not available

Service is always good This time the breakfast was served in the Meeting Room and was limited due to the space available They tried their bestOur room was very comfortable, clean like alwaysWhat I noticed this time is that they do not ask you how was your stay

Cady M

They are profits over peopleI booked a suite with a separate living room and kitchen They sold our room to someone else before I could get there

They care more about money than their customersThe room we were given was fine and I received a discount (after asking for one) but it doesn’t matter You shouldn’t just give others the room I book because they are willing to spend more

Keegan Olson

The hotel needs updates and repairs I am a lifetime Titanium rewards member and have stayed at MANY Residence Inns with my family and for business It takes a lot for me to review low as I usually give benefit of the doubt and show patience but there were so many issues with the room, I couldn’t

This one ranks at the bottom Before I list the issues, I will point out the staff was friendly No issues there My reasons for the poor review are all for the dirty, beat up and trashy room we got First, our room was not ready at 9pm when we got there When we get up there 20 minutes later, we instantly find many things below standards with it Stains on the all furniture, scrapes and worn out desk/cabinets, a broken microwave, a few random dishes and silverware (not enough to make a meal), TRASH in one of the drawers, a very squeeky door, not stocked towels (there were three and no hand towels which makes me question if they were changed from the last guest), both TVs have issues (the turn black after a period and one shows spots), the toilet paper roll was out when we got there so we had to put a new one on, there was a plate that was dirty in the cupboard, dishes were still in the dishwasher, stains on the wall, a cold pool I mean the list goes on Never have I seen a room with so many issues (with Marriott alone I have well over 1800 nights stayed) Some of the issues are small/insignificant… but really, I have to empty the dishwasher and put a new toilet paper roll on when I arrive? Common I expect better Marriott This was a very poor experience and not up to the standards you claim and charge for

5 stars overall The staff are all really nice and friendly Super clean bedding and towels, and the bathroom was also really clean

Very comfortable bed You can walk to an Outback Steakhouse and an Olive Garden Some of the hotel is a little rough around the edges, for instance our bathroom had a new sink and tiles, but the bathtub was stained and looked old And the restaurant had peeling wallpaper and cracked vinyl chairs That being said this is the second time I’ve stayed here and I will stay here again if I have to go on a long road trip The cleanliness and welcoming staff trump the areas that need attention every time

Ashley Corbitt

This hotel is awesome! Very clean rooms, above the norm for extreme detail to cleanliness, amenities, and professional staff Beds are so comfortable The staff is very kind as well as accommodating

Breakfast was hot and a variety of choices This location is pet friendly too Pool area is nice Just off the freeway so it is easily accessible with a good size parking lot I recommend 10/10 on the stay Gold star/5 star location Military discount available as well! Thank you all for your accomplishments in providing a nice nights stay

debra jackson-clapham

I am happy with the location, its not on a busy highway, its quiet and its within walking distance of somewhere to eat and drink Its very clean and tidy and smells pleasant through out the hotel Breakfast is basic but it works

My only bug bear is that they put omelets both cheese and vegetable next to meat products and for a vegetarian I have to be trusting that they have not touched the meat patty or sausage gravy Its something to think about when putting them in the server

Platinum elite here Second time stay not as great as first one 30 days ago, which was more than acceptable thenThis property is set back into a wooded area but convenient to shopping and restaurants

Pretty quietSome of the rooms are really beaten up New carpeting and clean furniture would be a plus And, as with many of the older properties, the bathrooms are in need of updates Internet sketchy and tv service unreliable It’s obvious that frequent Inspection for quality control is not happening as maintenance is lackingAfter third try, I was given a room with everything functional and not next to the elevator Management made up for the issues with points which was appreciated Won’t stay here again and would recommend avoiding

Jenn Dahlgren

This was the worst stay that I’ve ever experienced at a Marriott The room had a weird smell, kind of like mold There were ants in the bathroom, in the sink and on the towels

The shower had a giant spot of mold in the corner There was no way I was going to take a shower or even make a cup of coffee in this place It was all way too disgusting The mold in the shower is something that housekeeping couldn’t have missed I couldn’t wait to leave We showed the lady at the front and she apologized and credited points, which was nice Still, I’ll never visit this place again

Carol L. West

I stayed there for 2 nights We were charged for 3 nights I was supposed to be refunded or the hold on my account was to be released

It has been 3 weeks I called over the last week and a half and tried to speak with the manager Left several message she never returned my call After finally speaking with her she claimed she released my funds But my bank said she didn’t It has never this long for this type of transaction with my bank Her conduct was extremely unprofessional She had plenty of time to return my call

On our way across country, this was a last minute booking and one of our favorites It’s so clean! The lots are huge The pool was very clean

There was ample light, even at night We fished, swam, and did laundry There is a coin machine The laundry room was very clean I talked to a grounds keeper who gave me info for wifi (after hours) Sweet ducks walk around When I called to reserve, she asked which spot I would like to be in or if there was an area of the park I would like to be near Super friendly and easy check in process If we are ever out this way again, we would definitely stay!!!

L Jackson

Ended up needing an unexpected overnight stay thanks to a blown tire on the RV Booking was a breeze, and after-hours arrival was extremely quick and easy

Park was quiet, and we had some very cute ducks visit us after parking Bathrooms and showers were super clean and convenient and the little pond was charming! It was the absolute perfect overnight stay!

Cindy Hillman

One day this will be a great park, however as of June 2022, they are undergoing renovations They were pouring concrete this morning before 6 am! Disappointed they put us in the only gravel spot that was had standing water and mud with plenty of other sites available We have pets, but no grass

They need to think when they put someone in a site Laundry, showers and trash very far away Call before to see if they are through with renovations and request a site near what is important to you Very nice people running the campground

Reserved 10 rooms on a group rate Was given the price per night with tax and was still charged extra Was told that taxes were 13%

After paying we were then told that the pool, exercise room, and kitchen were all closed Kitchen caught fire and there would be no breakfast, just grab and go Pool and fitness room were closed due to Covid Last I checked those restrictions were lifted Not only that, hallway stayed filthy the 3 days we were there Black cleaning gloves laid in the floor all weekend and was never picked up by housekeeping Housekeeping was rude and didn’t do their job One elevator working and it was filthy Managers tried their best but their staff made the task of keeping guest happy a hard one DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Louis Georgiades

Inside room looks clean, smells clean, IS clean Everything in working order Lots of grass to walk the dogs, cats, Etc

Outside grounds needs attentionGo and grab breakfast Normal self serve breakfast Temporarily unavailable due to emergency in kitchen Be patientBed and it’s toppings very comfortable Unlike other hotels, the desk chair wheels actually roll Overall a very good experience and the price quality ratio is excellent

Samantha Ellington

I have made a previous review without viewing this hotels reviews before staying I just assumed from other Wyndham experiences it would be good Clearly, it’s not a good option

Imagine walking on carpet that feels moist and then seeing sunflower seeds at your bed Most reviews are pretty on point because they are horrible The bathroom paint looks like it’s supposed to be touched up When I walked in the hallway I saw an empty beer box The same beer box is still here with other trash collected (pizza boxes/more alcohol boxes) I’ve stayed for 2 nights $55 is great, but this place should be reduced… seriously $25 would kind of be worth it I found a new hotel verified by the local police that is the same price that is way better and safer Do not stay in this nasty place

Staying at this hotel was a unique experience, unrivalled by anywhere else my family and I have stayed

and I don’t mean that as a compliment Let’s start with the good things:1 The evening worker at the front desk was very understanding when we complained about the room we booked (more on this later), and got us a new room very quickly without any bureaucratic junk or extra charge2 Staff were consistently kind and helpful across the whole hotel, and in addition, check in and check out were relatively quick and painlessThis concludes the good things Unfortunately, much of the rest of the experience was unpleasant To start, the third floor, where some of our traveling companions were staying, smelled of tobacco, as did both elevators However, the greatest set of issues came in the first room we were assigned The tile in the entryway was sticky and appeared uncared for, the pullout mattress had mold, all of the furniture had strange stains, and then we stopped looking and asked for a new room To the hotel’s credit, though, we were given a new room without any fussThe new room was much better, although still not great The tile was still sticky, although it at least had the appearance of cleanliness There were fewer stains on the furniture, and the pullout mattress was stained with coffee rather than mold Overall, this hotel was not well kept at all, and we cannot recommend you stay here

Debbie Streit

We had a vehicle breakdown and the service center suggested this hotel Everyone was nice and helpful The suites have a nicely equipped kitchenette area with full sized fridge, 42in tall kitchen cabinets, 2 burner electric cooktop and all necessary cookware

The bed was comfy We had a couch and club chair included and overlooked the lovely outdoor pool There is a nice grill for cookouts and several outdoor patio/seating areas to enjoy the weather outside They offer local shuttle service which was very helpful Also a full buffet style breakfast was available every morning There are also several restaurants within walking distance

Theresa Tyree

The staff was very accommodating As a travel agent, I explained to the front desk that I would be rating my overnight stay They were upfront about the renovations that were to take place right before COVID-19

and how things had to take a back seat to the pandemic The manager explained that each room had flaws and she assigned me one of the better rooms We look forward to revisiting once the renovations have been completed Overall, we are quite understanding and had no complaints🙂

Very nice, professional, helpful, weekend night front desk lady The rooms were comfortable Only complaints are there was a beer can and water bottle under the bed and breakfast was simple

Overall, parking was great, nice comfortable nights rest and didn’t feel harassed by anyone We will definitely keep this place in mind when we pass thru again

Service and employees were great Owners/management need to not focus on penny pinching Room AC unit was off on check in

It was 95 degrees outside AC in the main building and hallways was either off, or set above 80 Guess what happens when guests cool off a room surrounded by hot air? Mold Mildew Thanks for the allergy attack, Cheapo Won’t be back

This hotel has a good location, next to I-30 & US 71

It is well maintained and only needs a few scruffy things addressed, such as two badly-worn welcome mat rugs, in the lobby The room and nice and quiet, with good water pressure I enjoyed the variety of breakfast offerings, including eggs & sausage patties The desk staff were very friendly I would return to this propertyRJT

I travel for a living & have experience with hotels When checking in & out the desk clerks were courteous & helpful I rated 3 stars only because of the friendliness of the clerks

The hotel itself needs an extreme makeover & deep clean Our room smelled of dirt & grime The carpet was sticky & filthy to the point we would not walk on it without shoes Our bathroom vent was covered in a layer of dust that was so thick it looked more like a air filter layed over the vent, which is dangerous & can cause overheating & a subsequent fire The outdoor gazebo & grilling area was filthy & sticky & we would not entertain even sitting in the chairs The trash can under the gazebo smelled awful like soured milk & rotten food & even if the chairs had been clean enough to sit on the smell would prevent you from doing so There is not a breakfast of any sort, not even energy bars or juice though there was a sign that read “free fresh fruit” but none was ever set out Even post COVID most places still offer at least fresh fruits and bottled beverages Our bill was $144 which included $2726 for a pet fee which is reasonable considering we checked in on July 3rd & Checked out on July 4th which would have been considered a holiday weekend, but the floors & carpeting were so dirty I did not even want my dog walking on them The room did have a small cook top, a smaller full size refrigerator/freezer, dishes, microwave & dishwasher which was a perk traveling with two children

Terrible Roaches in room Customer service was lacking

ELevator was out of service and 2 out of 3 wash machines that I specifically stayed at Candlewood for were out of serviceWhen issues were brought up to the guy behind counter he acted indifferent For the price, stay elsewhere The maid service was good and they were friendly, but that is the only positive

Dirtiest, worst kept place I’ve ever stayed One star is because it’s required Bathroom was covered in water, chairs obviously hadn’t been cleaned in months, bedding smelled, appliances didn’t work

They either don’t have staff, don’t check on their staff, or the staff doesn’t care Plenty of other places to stay nearby & they’re worth the price increase
