Nice clean hotel with a modern feel Starbucks, free breakfast, laundry, and bar on-site The breakfast was hot and had lots of options! We stayed on the third floor on the freeway side

The room was not very soundproof and we heard cars going up and down the road all night Definitely need to ask for a room on the back side of the hotelThe staff was very friendly and helpful with all my requestsI would stay here again! If you found this review helpful, please hit the like button!

I had to come from out of town for business so my company put me in a hotel I am a very clean person and terribly scared of bedbugs, lice, fleas, ticks, etc So needless to say, I was pretty scared

I checked my room and it was very very clean No bugs in any lining at all I was pleasantly relieved My room was on the interstate side I will say, you do hear the cars go by I personally, didn’t mind It is a hotel and most are right off highways Besides, I am a heavy sleeper and find the cars to be a soothing background noise I cannot sleep with pure silence I am a little disappointed that I didn’t have a microwave and that the fridge was not very cold inside All in all though, clean and very nice rooms/suites (I don’t know which I was booked for) Parking was also convenient and well lit I felt safe here and I feel like that can put my family at ease a little bit In regards to staff, I didn’t have a problem They were informative and pretty nice Did I mention- free breakfast Free food is always a blessing 😊

Went here to celebrate and have a getaway with the significant other celebrating an anniversary, and it was pretty convenient for the price, location and ease of everything Kudos to the hotel staff that also run the Starbucks and bar area – went to get a late-night Tequila Sunrise and Peach Margarita and they honored the happy hour price when they didn’t have toOnly issue I had was the fridge not working properly, but I think may have to do with people seldom using the ADA roll-in shower room type – which, might I add, had good accommodations if you get around in a wheelchair

At check in neither digital key nor card key was available so the valet had to let us in our room 30 minutes later (after 4) still There was no key available, front desk said they have problem with the systemOur room had One little container of shampoo for four people and there were no washcloths

In the morning went for breakfast buffet and we were informed that they did not have the Buffet that they What happened?our last day I was trying to stay one extra day and I ask two hours before our check out if my room or others was available, they assured me it is available and other roomsAt 10:30 I called front desk that I want to check out since our plan didn’t work They would not give me an hour time to check out The lady at front said that my room has been given to someone else and there are no other rooms available and we have to leave immediately She said that’s the hotel policy I had to beg for 30 minutes extra time to get the whole family with all kinds of stuff out of the room It was unbelievable to be treated like this at this place so-called resortWe have been to many real resorts

Came for a nice weekend with my family Overall it’s good but for the price I would expect more The pool is enjoyable, however we all left with an insane amount of bug bites!! The wait for drinks was way way longer on Saturday morning than Friday

My room was not very clean There was hair in the shower and on the toiletMy son found used cough drops under the bed thinking they were candy! Was not happy with thatIt could be a great place but needs more renovations for the cost!

We had a fantastic stay here! Hotel was upscale, was in a safe area, and impeccably cleanThe hotel is right on the river walk and a 5 minute walk to the mall on well maintained sidewalks Restaurant and Starbucks downstairs for convenience

Loved the little details like a makeup mirror and recycling bins in the rooms! Blackout curtains were great, and there was plenty of room to lounge

Kalysta Gutierrez

The Waterway Marriott is such a pristine and accommodating hotel! The overnight staff were so kind and helpful The amenities are abundant; I enjoyed the treadmills in the gym area a lot The single king bed rooms are SO pretty and the halls were nice and quiet through the night (I had arrived pretty late and was thoroughly pleased with this aspect)

One really awesome stand-out point was that the front desk had fliers ready at check in with so much helpful information on it, including the times that hotel renovations could be heard I highly recommend taking advantage of the mobile Marriott Bonvoy member benefits and choosing this hotel as a place to stay!

Rob Her

Great place to stay at while visiting The Woodlands Staff were friendly The morning breakfast and coffee were a nice thing to wake up to

The lobby had computers, lounge chairs, fresh fruit water and fruit The only thing that could improve is the room service Our beds weren’t made out of the 5 nights we stood here I’m not sure if that’s a Hyatt or Texas thing It’s minor, but every hotel I’ve ever stayed in, the beds were always made Overall, we had a great experience and would consider staying here again next time we’re in town

Eric “Fancy” Johnson

Stayed in one of the Whirlpool Suites because we simply wanted to treat ourselves The jets were only partially functional and it definitely ended up being just a bathtub When I spoke to the front staff about this issue they told me that they would have the maintenance look at it

This would have been fine if I intended on staying for more than one night but I was only passing throughThe disposables for the coffee maker (napkins/stirrers etc) we’re not replaced between guests I know this because 3 of the four were opened and missing items from the lot This is unacceptable as it makes me wonder what else was not properly observed/cleaned/replaced before we entered the roomWhen the AC cut on throughout the night, it would do so with a loud BANG which would startle us awake each time I tried shutting the door between us and the AC, but it still sounded very loud everytime it turned on It int annoy me at first, but the third time I woke up in the middle of the nightit really made me second guess my choices in selecting a hotelThese are small gripes, but I feel as though when I explained the situation about the tub, and the picked through disposable items, it wasn’t really acknowledge All in all, it wasn’t terrible, but It definitely wasn’t a suite experienceMy recommendation Check EVERYTHING before you agree to stay in the room, even if it’s a suite

Sydney Devera

Normally I am a fan of these hotels but this time was pretty sad The wheelchair accessibility is sort of true if the front spots are available but if you have to park on the side, you are a far cry from the nearest ramp Our hotel room had one empty side of toilet paper and one the was ripped in the middle and had to be unraveled quite a bit to be usable

The placement of the toilet paper is also too far away for short arms and a double hit on accessibility as you need to stand or even balance to reach I tried to let the front desk know we were almost out of toilet paper and it rang in perpetuity for many minutes until I hung up No call back Also, the tv doesn’t work it just says “no signal” And lastly, you can have breakfast if you want to pay $12 I can’t comment on the quality because I’m not paying $12 when I can go get breakfast almost anywhere for less

PAULA HAYNES

I was forced to leave one star which is not deserved Terrible stay We arrived and our room wasn’t ready

We were one of many who were left to wait hours for a room Had to keep checking with the front desk and finally after we all argued with the management to get us something we got a room The rooms smelled of mildew and they only offered a later check out which was no good to us Don’t stay there because they are rude to their guests and don’t make your stay a pleasurable experience

Very nice people at the front desk They had a keg when you come in for all of the guests to have beer, got to love that!Unfortunately I did not sleep well either night because the pillows are just way too soft Next time I’ll be bringing my own

Slin S

It’s amazing how different one Hampton Inn is from the other This one is great and clearly well managed Friendly staff and clean accommodations

I dinged down one star because 2 of the 3 treadmills had issues (one suddenly stops mid-run / the other’s track needs attention) Also, b’fast leaves a bit to be desired Otherwise great for the rate!

Rooms were clean There were 3 light bulbs were out in our room Maintenance only had a bulb for above the bed

The desk/work area had 2 bulbs out that had to be ordered in, so the lighting was dim Their website should remove the complimentary shuttle service, since they no longer offer it They have a on-site gym & pool The pool was clean & water was warm The gym was always in use & always clean The staff was so kind & attentive Breakfast was not much to speak of: cereal, cold blueberry muffins (the staff would warm them up in the kitchen microwave for you), pre-made egg mcmuffin-type breakfast sandwich & mini veggie tartes, and some fresh fruit They also had a juice machine

Friendly staff, and clean We came from a similarly priced hotel down the street that didn’t feel as bright, happy, or clean as ElementIf you’re going to be in the area for a few days and are looking for an apartment/studio style hotel stay this is the best one out of the 3 or 4 other ones around here

As of our stay (end of February 2022) there was construction/remodeling being done But it didn’t affect or interfere in any way

Amir Godly

Warning, skip right over… Upon arrival everything looked alright in the lobby Get my keys go to the elevator

Looks normal Elevator stops opens door get off Hallway disgusting Full of trash Smell of wet dog was almost unbearable Get to my room after walking a mile , keys don’t work Had to walk another mile down the hallway go to desk and get another key Get back open the room door , the smell of mildew is so strong I was honestly scared to breathe The sheets looked as if someone was already laying in the bed Got towels from front desk and they were dirty The breakfast was absolute trash do not even waste your time staying here

This hotel was Ah-mazing! The staff was very polite, the ambiance was delightful and the grounds itself was impeccable I really enjoyed my stay here, it was definitely worth the money Although we didn’t get the lake view from our room, it was still pleasurable to walk the grounds

The only con is that the bed wasn’t as comfortable for my back as I liked but sddi g some pillows made it better Thus is one of those hotels where what you see is what you get when viewing rooms online Great place to stay I will be back!

The office lobby was very clean and inviting The front desk clerk Tracy was very friendly and also was very concerned about me being comfortable She went above and beyond to help me with my hotel room

She was super polite and professional My stay there was brief due the location being too far for me The room was nice and I really appreciated off of the help that Tracy assisted me with She would make a wonderful manager if she is not already one

Mohamed Alamin

Great place to book if you’re looking for long term stays I stayed in the single suite room It was spacious, clean and comfy

The hotel itself was quiet and served breakfastThe staff were very welcoming, helpful and attentiveLocation wise it was around 40 minutes from downtown, but the Willowbrook Mall was a 5 min walk away in addition to other shopping options and supermarkets Will definitely stay there again if I get the chance

Shardae M

The rooms and hotel was clean It looks like it could use updates and some fixes but overall rooms qere great! The staff here were very friendly and helpful We were there memorial weekend and when getting ready to check out Monday my son was burning up and I needed to know how bad

The woman at the front desk used their thermometer to check him and gave us great advice on how to bring his fever down By the time we checked out at 1200 his fever was down and we had a quiet drive homeI wish I could remember her name! This was my baby’s first fever and this is new to me, but her calm kept me calm If she sees this she knows who she is, thank you!!

Our 1st time staying at this hotel Room was very nice The cons- no iron & iron board in the room and no complementary breakfast unless we had missed it

Walls are very thing so you can hear other people in their room Pros- convenient location with a lot if stores around us Plus the mall was not to far and we were right by the highway as well I would stay again if i needed to I forgot to get pictures of the room It was a very nice room

Gretchen Stull

Pros: The room was visually pleasing, with an interesting layout and amenities My kids were amused by the brachiosaurus in the bathroom wallpaper The location seems to be safe

The lobby is niceCons: The bathroom door doesn’t close fully It’s a pocket-style door that slides, but the intra-track stopper is placed so that when in the “closed” position, there’s a 3-inch gap between the door and wallThe beds were not comfortable I haven’t encountered this in an Aloft hotel before My husband and I were both up multiple times and I’m very happy we only booked 1 night hereThere’s a long metal panel in the shower that covers the drain It chimes loudly when hit with water Again, this long metal panel is located IN the shower, directly under the shower head The shower drips for a considerable amount of time after the water is turned off As such, the chiming continued for a while after the last shower and into the nightThe final issue is, I believe, more a staffing issue than a problem with the existing staff Hoping to get an early start since we had another long day of travel, we planned for breakfast at the hotel When we went to the lobby, there appeared to be no one working We waited for 20 minutes for the front desk attendant to appear That’s when we realized this 1 person was responsible for running the front desk, and preparing all breakfast orders, and delivering the prepared orders What should have taken a few minutes took the better part of an hour This was NOT the fault of the attendant, who was hustling and doing her absolute best to keep everyone happy She was placed in a no-win situation and managed it competently and professionally This is the fault of whoever thought 1 employee was sufficient for handling multiple jobsI’ve had good experiences with Aloft in the past, but I will not be staying at this location again

sunil mahato

Definitely one of the most economical Marriott properties in Woodlands It is a newer hotel Rooms are clean

There are NO ironing boards, instead it got a hand held steamer That is definitely not ideal for most business travelersThe property lost power for 2 hours during my stay It has NO standby generatorIt has a bar and very limited food options There are however several restaurants in driving distance

If you are looking for a place to stay in Houston, TX, do yourself a favor and book at room at Courtyard Houston Northwest My wife, some friends, and I were experiencing the ultimate travel nightmare before we ran into this hotel We had multiple issues with multiple Marriott properties the night before/day we ended up checking into this hotel

We refused a room at the Marriott property next to the Courtyard, and thankfully the Courtyard had an open room for duration of our trip Everyone in our party was frustrated and tired from traveling along with the hotel issues, but the two ladies working the front desk here on June 9th empathized with us and ensured us they would take care of usThe two ladies upgraded our room to a large room with a balcony, and they asked multiple times if there was anything else they could do to make our experience great Their attitudes/friendly service were more than enoughThe hotel, grounds, and room were exceptional Everyone was friendly from the time we checked in to the time we leftI am not sure how Marriott rewards their employees, but the two ladies working the front on June 9th around 5:30pm should be rewarded to the fullest extent

Jamie Spence

Do NOT stay at this location The negligence is mind-blowing They have no cameras in the parking lot and people’s cars are constantly getting broken into

My husband’s truck was broken into last year around this same time and Christmas presents were stolen out of the console while parked in their parking lot He thought it was an isolated incident, so he stayed there again this year Last night, three trucks parked in the front row, including his, had the tailgates stolen off of them thirty feet from the front doors of the hotel, in full view of the front desk The staff somehow “didn’t notice” (or are getting paid off by the thieves) The police told him this morning that this hotel has developed a reputation for constant thefts over the last few years, so why is it Marriott hasn’t put in any cameras? How is it the staff never “notices” this happening right in front of the front doors? Why hasn’t the GM taken any action regarding this situation and taking care of their guests? Marriott, come on This is ridiculous

I can’t say enough about this hotel The location is within walking distance of a restaurant strip! The view is so serene and beautiful! The Manager on Sunday was absolutely 💯 fabulous He made sure that our stay was great and willing to help anyway possible

Everyone there from the front to the resturant was fabulous The breakfast was fantastic and we also enjoyed the 2 complimentary alcoholic beverages we received at the evening reception, as well as a few light snacks The infinity pool was very nice and the rooms were extremely nice with a large bedroom, separated living area, and bathroom and we had a walk around balcony 😀 Our experience at The Embassy in Woodland for Father’s Day, was an excellent, pleasant, & serene stay! We loved it and will be back!

Perfect for a last minute staycation with my family If you book and check-in via the app like I did, still go to the front desk to get your key (you’ll need it for the parking garage) and you happy hour card The entire staff I encountered including the front desk associates , bartenders and servers were all very knowledgeable and friendly

The breakfast was delicious The drinks and appetizers at happy hour were great also I will definitely book this location again

T

Nice, clean and spacious hotel Check in was fast and easy Our room was comfortable and roomy

Everything worked as it should Water pressure is light, but I’m ok with saving water The thermostat ran very cold, but it’s Houston so I’m not going to complain Breakfast was pretty good Lots of decent options, though their eggs were a bit on the over-processed side The location is very good with groceries and restaurants nearby I reserve 5 stars for the high-end hotels, but I had a nice experience and would have no problem staying here again

I would stay there again It was conveniently located to where we needed to be The only thing I didn’t like was in the morning when we tried to get breakfast, it was a little unclear how it worked We thought a server would come over to us but after 10 min no one did so we left Other than that, it was a nice and clean hotel

If you have a request they will do everything they can to make sure that it is taken care of Has a great bar area with outside seating on a nice evening and I have to say that my favorite bartender pretty much of all time is Chase he is an excellent people person and dotes on his customers and makes sure that they are taken care of he has great conversation skills and knows everybody by name 😊 I highly recommended this hotel

When we arrived in our top floor suite the room was filthy, mildew and hair all over the shower! The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet ( which was absolutely disgusting )Dirty silverware in the dishwasher and the sink!I was appalled!!!This was a HYATT!!!When I called downstairs to say we could not use the toilet and how filthy the room was, they told me they would try to get to it but there is a toilet downstairs! No one came to fix a toilet or clean the room for two days! It was absolutely disgusting! After calling downstairs at least 10 times going downstairs showing them pictures of the bathroom and telling them that I cannot use the toilet because there’s no toilet seat on there finally a manager called me and told me he would send someone up the next day Our third day in the hotel!!!He offered me a bottle of wine thinking OK yes that’s great a bottle of wine is going to take care of all of this! Absolutely disgusting!!!BTW I don’t know when the last time the pool had been cleaned but there was no way I was getting into that pool!!!

The sound proofing in the hotel is extremely good! During check in there was some kind of sports tournament happening and I can’t tell you how loud it was in the lobby(which was directly below our room), but the clerk and myself had to raise our voices quite high to hear each other The kids stayed in the lobby for hours after I checked in After taking the elevator to the 2nd floor, it was quite and even so in our room

The fresh fruit options for breakfast were a huge plus!
