Definitely recommend it! First of all, the views are stunning My room had a small balcony, and I love enjoying the sounds of water waves crashing over the shore Hotel is brand new, and all the painting/furniture are all brand new

They offer free breakfast, and they deliver the breakfast to your room at your preferred time and at no charge Staff was friendly and professional Additionally, they have gym with inspiring beach views They also have a coin laundry machine (needs coins which you can get from front desk) My stay was excellent, I had zero issues

Zach Kerekes

This hotel was very clean, seems to he quite new, and we loved the beach access The only downfall, which is mentioned in a lot of other reviews here, is the noise level from other rooms If you end up with a noisy person above you you will hear every footstep

And the doors are very thin to the hallways Also, the staff isn’t exactly the warmest or most accommodating I’ve ever experienced but they seem to get their jobs done I would still consider staying here when in town again because of the quality and cleanliness of the rooms, however I wish they would go back to cleaning during your stay

Breanna Henderson

The hotel has beautiful views We booked a balcony room facing the beach The room was a decent size for two people

Everything was clean The private beach is really nice There are chairs and towels The front desk staff was okay The hotel gives you some breakfast options I’m the morning it’s delivered to you at a time you request The hotel is about 10-ish minutes from downtown The bed was super comfortable Overall, it was nice Not five stars but we would stay there again

I really like this place Employees are nice Very friendly

Cookies at the desk!Rooms are clean and nice, with comfortable beds and linens Nice shower Breakfast was very good a lot of options! The indoor pool is very nice not stuffy like most other places good ventilation, and a big hot tub!Work out room okay, I used the free weightsLocation is fine traverse is so spread out…I can’t think of anything bad to say!I’ve been here twice now and I’ll be backTom

Mandi Moyer

We booked online and then never received a confirmation So, my fiance called to double check and then everything was supposed to be good We ordered a regular room with a queen bed and somehow they gave us a handicapped room

Which should’ve been given to someone that actually needed it However, Even this room didn’t make sense for anyone disabled The shower is so small that you can barely move inside of it There’s no room to put anything They also have the lock on the bathroom door on the outside which makes no sense They said it was for safety reasons If that’s the case, they shouldn’t even have a lock on it and just have a regular handle on it instead

Klara Fye

$706 for 2 sleeps and a wake up Check in is at 4 pm and Check out is 11 am The room was not cleaned well at all

Thick dust on the services I have no idea who they have there cable hooked up to but it’s about what a $50/night motel would have Shower was old and had mold on the shower head and hair on the bathtub and floor The breakfast was barely edible and none of the appliances worked properly Forks had food on them, as did the plates The eggs were powdered and not real I’m still in shock that this was $350 a night This is a standard no frills room

Mallory Burgess

Perfectly nestled along downtown and walking distance from the beach Valet and front desk were helpful, rooms were nice and for the first time at a hotel I never even turned the TV on Our group enjoyed the rooftop bar a lot and it was great weather for it

The rooms also have the best shower and the white noise machine was a nice touch for those of us who can’t sleep in silence! Everything about the hotel seemed thoughtful, even down to the little cherry treats and local snacks in the hotel marketplace Would definitely stay again!

Mary Pearson

We enjoyed our overnight stay! Our room was lovely with a bay view! Cocktails at the rooftop bar, with a bay view, were a highlight on a beautiful afternoon! Great location for a walk downtown for dinner The valet was helpful in information about the option of on street parking The bar staff was friendly and the drinks were good

The one front desk staff could have provided more information about Hotel amenities We enjoyed coffee and baked goods to go, also very good We’d love to return

Robin Chancey

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms and beds, a fantastic bathroom, and a great location However our stay in early May was ridiculously expensive at $1029 for 3 nights without the usual amenities of fridge, microwave, pool and robes At that price, you’d think they’d comp the Smart Water instead of charging 4 bucks abottle! Avoid the bar—it’s acomplete rip-off

My $12 Old Fashioned consisted of a half jigger of bourbon in a tiny glass with a couple of cherries and an orange slice Not at all tasty There are much better bar/restaurant options just around the corner

Amy Myers

Very nice place with beautiful grounds, but a little disappointed in the amenities offered for the price Toilet paper could have been of a better quality, I was surprised the toiletries offered in the bathroom were not a known brand, and waters in the room would have been nice Overall though, this is a beautiful place that offers excellent homemade breakfast in the morning! The owners are very trusting and have an honors policy when they are closed

Plenty of seating on both sides of the property, a nice fire pit to use, and we lucked out with two beautiful sunsets and a rainbow! 🙂

Anna Knechtel

My boyfriend and I went here for the wine tastings, there was not a wait while we were there on a beautiful Saturday afternoon which was surprising to us This winery was a bit more expensive for the amount of wine that we got compared to some of the others we went to But the views on the patio were amazing and it was very nice to be able to relax and enjoy the views

We did get a good amount of wine per taste and the lady who helped us was very nice and had some great recommendations

William Mader

We have visited here for many years The staff is incredible – and Bob, the owner, is a kind and accommodating host Tonight he took the time to personally start a fire for us in the common area fireplace and share history of the vineyard with us

I especially like their late harvest Riesling A beautiful place to spend time – with sincere and welcoming hosts!

I can honestly say that you will not find a more stunning view of the bay than you will see here Request a higher floor if you can because the view is so worth it! The only downfall about not being on the first floor is that there is only one elevator that is pretty slow because you have to share with so many peopleOur room was nicely maintained and had a nice sized fridge, separate kitchenette sink, microwave, and coffee maker

The room was spacious and nicely lit, and the bathroom was very clean and looked brand newThe hotel is in a nice location if you don’t like the chaos of downtown There is a nice large private beach on the property with a place to rent water sports equipmentHuge shout-out to Laura (housekeeping,) the lady making breakfast, and the front desk attendant – They are seriously so sweet and helpfulOverall, highly recommend! We will definitely visit again if we ever have a reason to come back to TC

Lisa Kellogg

We really loved the staff at the Cherry Tree – so friendly and welcoming!Renovations were taking place during our stay, which we weren’t anticipating upon arrival and it initially felt chaotic However, everyone – including the construction crew – was so nice and accommodating Housekeeping left a bit to be desired – it was unclear what services, like trash removal, were provided on a daily basis and how to utilize them

The hot breakfast is a nice perk, though one day no hot breakfast items were available due to a shipment that didn’t arrive That was a disappointment (especially with kids counting on the waffles)The rooms are nice – kind of similar to a Hampton Inn, where we tend to stay We were supposed to be in the Sleeping Bear Suite – selected specifically for our family of 5 including 3 small kids – but found out upon check-in that we had been moved As a planner who had meticulously looked at pictures and layouts of all the suites, I wasn’t thrilled with the very last minute change Our room still had a wrap-around balcony with an incredible view of the bay!If we come back to Traverse City, we’d definitely look into staying here again – and a lot of that has to do with the warm and kind staff Kudos to all the team members there!

Sonya Taylor

Love, Love, Love this hotel!!! It is the cutest thing ever!! It has it’s own private little beach with fire pits Service was spectacular even though they were renovating the lobby areas I witnessed other guests booking out months in advance for their next vacation!! It’s close to several eateries and shops

And if you’re going on the bus wine tour, the pickup spot is right down the street!! This will be our go to spot every year!

The newly remodeled spacious room included a king bed comfy! And the bath had a standup clear glass shower and huge shower head! All very new! Our room with a view of the bay was perfect! The indoor pool and hot tub were clean and both a very comfortable size

the restaurant had a good selection of entree’s and cocktails The staff were so courteous and helpful I really appreciated our time there Right across from the state park, it feels less crowded💕😀

Dawn Haworth

All staff members were amazing The room was very nice The mattress was a little too firm for my husband and I

The view from the balcony was breath talking The breakfast was good and there were plenty of choices We dined in one night and the food was just ok The location of the resort was perfect for our stay We will definitely book again

Genny Evans

Great hotel with renovated rooms, private beach, and great lounge/restaurant Balcony rooms facing the bay are awesome, especially to catch the sun rise and sun set Located close to downtown for shopping and other attractions

Have stayed here 4 years in a row, and will continue toMy only issues this trip were 1) at check in we were given two wristbands and were told to wear them during our stay, especially at the beach, but after seeing no other guests wearing them, we didn’t either, and 2) the beach swimming area has always been roped off so you don’t go too far out in the water This year it was not and there were three incidents where a pontoon boat, a fishing boat, and jet skis came too close to the swim area, and two of the boats actually came up to the shore I felt this was too close to the swimmers, especially those with small children in the water I think they should rope the area off again for safetyOverall, great place to stay, and can’t wait to return!

Uncle Todd’s Garage

I travel for work a couple times a month I stay here whenever possible All other hotels are graded on a curve created by this property

Management obviously has very high standards and it shows in the staff and the whole property Lobby, grounds, parking lot and public areas are ALWAYS clean and organized Rooms are ALWAYS clean and tidy and in perfect or near perfect shape Probably the best beds of any hotel I’ve stayed in All of the staff are ALWAYS friendly and professional They always have “little extras” to show appreciation for Bonvoy Members I’ve never seen any staff using a personal cell phone One morning, after a few inches of snow, the maintenance staff cleaned snow off of EVERY car in the lot I’ve never seen that! Thank you to everyone for making me feel at home when I’m not at home

Colleen Robbins

I can’t say enough good things about our stay hereFirst of all the staff was amazing!!! Everyone was really kind and friendlyThe room was spotless We had a total of 3 rooms and everyone was very happy about the cleanlinessThe amenities were great The pool and hot tub area was clean and stocked with towels; this is big for me because several times I have gone to other hotels and cannot use the pool because it is overcrowded and out of towels, definitely not the case hereAlso each afternoon they put out lemonade and tea along with flavored syrups; this was a big hit with our group and a really nice touchThe breakfast bar each morning had a great selection and something for everyoneIn addition they had a computer and printer available at no charge for the guests, which was helpful as we needed to print documentsNext time we are in the area we will definitely be staying here

Catherine McGrath

My husband and I prefer Marriott when traveling as we have always had excellent experiences with them Unfortunately, this Fairfield was the exception This was our first overnight hotel stay with our infant son and it was awful

We were unknowingly placed in a handicap room on the first floor and immediately upon arrival we noticed a strong musty, moldy, body odor smell throughout our room and down the hallway The room smelled like wet clothes and towels were left in a pile somewhere for days There was visible black mold in the corner of the shower and on the window curtains which aggravated my husband’s asthma overnight When we complained about the smell, a staff member just came in and sprayed a deodorizing spray which made no difference Window wouldn’t open more than two inches so we couldn’t get any fresh air to air it out Because the room was handicap accessible, we were stuck with a roll in shower that allowed water to leak all over the floor in the bathroom No counter space to put things, just a sink My husband scoped out the complimentary breakfast the next morning which looked sparse so we did not partakeThe place was fully booked so they couldn’t move us to a different room, but we got no apology from the staff or offer to make it right No greeting/acknowledgment from staff when leaving or returning Certainly not worth anywhere near $250/night We will never stay here again, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area Based on other reviews, it looks like we are not alone Very disappointed with Marriott this time

The hotel is right at the down town and walkable to everything! I loved the location The hotel itself is very old but renovated Overall I enjoyed the stay with my wife and two small dogs, and I appreciate them providing pet friendly rooms very much

Traverse city was absolutely beautiful and the location greatly helped to explore it more by bike and by foot If I would add a couple of improvement points…1) the entrance and the elevator can be cleaner and newer (The first impression was ‘this hotel is old’)2) Pet rooms (west wing) can be deep cleaned sometimes (there were some stains on the carpet, and the entire west wing smelled funny )3) lighting can be improved (the new led light was too white, and they used different colors all over the hotel, some are a bit warm )If they could improve these points, the quality of stay would improve a lot

Todd Hawke

For the price you’d think it be clean Elevator smelled like sewage and sweaty feet, the doors had water/beer/pop marks and prob needed to be upgraded at least 10 years ago The room was very small, the bathroom was tiny, and maybe if they vacuumed it they would of picked up the hair pin that was in the middle of the floor

The bar/restaurant was closed more then it was open, the martini bar wasn’t open and they were out of lots The bar also needed to be cleaned, like deep clean The bar was actually full on Saturday but they closed at 10 anyway, not smart business but I’m not the owner Staff was interesting to say the least Only good thing was you could walk to everything This hotel used to be so nice and clean it’s just not anymore

Kristin Brooks

I surprised my parents with a two night stay and they were less than impressed For $1,163 they had a tiny room that faced the parking lot The coffee machine had black slime in it and after asking for it to be cleaned they discovered it was simply “wiped out” and not cleaned

They had requested towels (twice) to be delivered that was not executed There were two staff members cooking and serving for the whole restaurant One lady even warned, “today is my first day and it’s trial by fire” I am beyond disappointed for what I paid It did not meet my expectations by any means The only positive was the person on the phone who helped me get a bottle of champagne to their room He was extremely nice

We stayed in January of 2022 for one night and we loved it so much we are going back for 4 nights for a birthday trip (mine) in June It’s doesn’t feel like you are staying at an inn but you’re staying at a family members house The housekeeping staff is friendly, they gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations for dinner, the rooms were immaculate, the views were snowy so we are looking forward to lush Green views in June

I am so excited to come back next month!

Barb and Hank were great hosts in an amazing 11,000 square foot historical home full of beauty The meals in the morning were amazing The best fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee, sweet breads, and protein dishes

DELICIOUS Really appreciate the huge room with private bathroom, COMFY bed and bedding , and all the extra snacks and drinks they provide in the 3rd floor full kitchen The front porch is delightful and we had the nicest time Everything is in excellent condition and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool on all floors in 90 plus degree weather! Go for a sail! Walking distance to lake, sail launch and tons of great food Ample parking as well Thank you Barb and Hank! Can’t wait to come back !

We live in Pennsylvania, but we decided to make a road trip to Michigan, new territory for us We learned that northern Michigan is a wonderful vacation area! We stayed at the Wellington Inn for three nights, and we couldn’t believe our good luck in picking this inn for our accommodations Staying here is an experience and adventure in itself

This is a beautiful, very large and gracious home set in a beautiful neighborhood The location can’t be beat–you can walk everywhere to restaurants, stores, and the waterfront And you are centrally located for driving and bicycling to nearby areas Barb and Hank are just so interesting and fun Breakfast is served at 9:00 and is part of the overall experience My husband and I were so happy to stay here!

molly mihocko

After watching Downton Abbey I felt as if I were staying in the American version Wellington is more a mansion that has been preserved in time The innkeepers – Hank and Barbara – truly make you feel at home

Barb worked with outlining places to see and eat at Hank was the history buff of the duo The location is in a beautiful neighborhood and within walking distance of some great restaurants and stores Wish we had another day there

Despite having brought probably over$200,000 in business to the resort over the last ten years, I will likely be finding somewhere else to bring my golf outing guests from now on Over the last two or three years the Grand Traverse resort has steadily reduced its level of service, the quality of its accommodations, and the competence of its staff, especially its management From being hours late checking my guests in, to not providing housekeeping service for 4 days, to refusing to provide separate checks to a party of 13 in the Aerie restaurant, to not providing airport transportation, to taking 15 minutes or more to answer calls to the front desk, to failing to have a manager on duty for three straight days, to rooms in need of repair, and poor communication resulting in some of my guests being overcharged for replay rounds on the golf courses, I was sorely disappointed by the resort overall

Three or four years ago, I did not have these problems It seems like the hotel management used Covid and the confusion issues from it to significantly degrade service levels and overall quality, while raising prices The golf courses are still in good shape and enjoyable, but everything else about the resort has gone downhill in the last several years I will definitely be looking for another place to take my group Crystal Mountain might be a good alternative although it is not as convenient as the Grand Traverse resort You’ll also notice that the idiots in management at the resort keep posting the same form letter type reply to all of the complaints people make That’s the same level of service and quality you will get if you stay there At least they’re honest, because even though they say they will discuss people’s complaints internally, they never say they will fix the problems in their canned reply See you can bet that the chances of getting the issues corrected are about zero I will definitely be looking for another place to take my group starting next year

Brian Ciecirski

While the staff was absolutely amazing I wouldn’t classify this place as a resort The shop that sells breakfast stuff was completely empty, the elevators weren’t working at times so we had to use the stairs , in addition to the elevator being located directly on front of the bar made it difficult to navigate, the last times the rooms were updated was probably 1974, my room rate was wrong , even though I told them at check in and they said they would fix it they didn’t so I had to now wait in line to have it corrected instead of just being able to express check out I will say the bed was amazingly comfortable and the breakfast buffet and omelet station was very good

Que Sra

We went to the house and home show so we didn’t actually use the resort, but we did take the chance to look around It is beautiful The shops are very attractive and there is a spa

We also drove past parts of one of the golf courses, but I’m not sure which one It looked very fun, but challenging The h and h show was really well done There was a big event room and everything was very well organized We enjoyed our visit very much

Great location, nice and quiet on the east bay We ate breakfast on the balcony while listening to the waves The breakfasts are delivered to your room, and are skimpy, but it is nice to eat on the balcony

Also nice to be able to watch the sunset They have a large housekeeping staff as well as beach crew who grooms the sand every morning, wipes down the chairs, and picks up trash The staff was very friendly and we easily were able to get additional towels, soaps, etc We were coming in before the check – in time, so we called to see if we could come early They took my number, and called about 12:30 to say the room was ready So nice of them! Thanks to the team!

The first time I stayed here was 10 years ago and the customer service was hands down the best I had ever received at a hotel (and I stay at hotels quite a bit) The whole staff went above and beyond, so this time around my friend and I said for our commemorative trip to celebrate 10 years of friendship we would stay there again, and we were not disappointed I loved being able to text the front desk, and housekeeping was great at checking in with us each morning to see if we needed anything

The front desk staff was great and the beach was clean Our room was very clean as well and they have the best pillows! I miss being able to sit and eat breakfast in the breakfast room but the boxed delivered breakfasts for each day were not bad, I would just suggest rotating fruits or juices since we both got a banana and an orange juice every day Overall great stay and I will be back again

We booked after reading several reviews It was a nice, water front location Close to downtown and the peninsula/wineries

They provide a complimentary breakfast which is delivered to your door each morning The room was spacious and super clean The mattress was pretty hard, but that is the only thing we found to be a negative We would love checking it out in the summertime Friendly staff and very clean facility

This luxury rental was all we could ask for and more Very spacious with lovely furnishings and comfortable beds The keypad entry made it nice and easy to get in and out without having to remember keys

We had a slight issue with the PIN number when we first arrived but Kristin was readily available and had it fixed quickly with no issues thereafter There are 2-3 balconies per unit which are nicely angled to provide privacy from other units There are bay views from each unit as well, though some may have more trees between than others We didn’t mind If you’re fortunate enough to be there on the Fourth of July, it is absolutely perfect for the fireworks It was also very convenient to have a party store and Bay Bread Co across the street Easy drive to a few grocery stores if you need more but also an easy enough walk down to Front street for shopping and/or dining My only disappointment was the free toiletries – they’re listed as an amenity but there was one small bottle of shampoo (no conditioner) and one small bottle of lotion Luckily I packed my own just in case Would stay again!

I recently stayed here and the building is clean and spacious Excellent location to the water or downtown The only disappointing complaint I have was the lack of furniture in the main room

For a 2 bedroom place, you would think they would have seating to accommodate at a minimum of 4 people All they had was a 25 person loveseat They have a kitchen table to seat 6, but not in the living room They missed the mark here

Air-conditioning did work well all week Stopped working the last two days of our stay The temp was 80 in the room and they offered us a fan

They had to order the part for the air conditioner They don’t seem to keep up with the maintenance of the building The valve for the tub was broken and the beds really need to be replaced I had to put a blanket on the mattress under the sheet to be able to sleep I won’t be staying here again

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at the beautiful Delamar Hotel in Traverse City, Michigan in early June The room was clean and quiet, and nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable The bathroom was modern

We enjoyed all the amenities, including swimming in both the indoor and outdoor pools, and participating in a morning yoga class which was excellent The food and service in both restaurants were excellent We had two dinners at The Artisan, and three breakfasts in the Cafe, and all the food was outstanding All the staff was friendly and helpful We look forward to staying at the Delamar in Traverse City again

Lets begin on a positive note The hotel property was very nice The staff was fantastic! The lobby we very clean and welcoming – the quarter lounge chair was a very nice piece and the food was very good

Here is my issue We had a two night stay that they have known about since last Fall (2021) and our room was a joke (besides the bed, which nice) At this room rate the you shouldn’t see wallpaper paste on the walls The bathroom was pathetic! The ‘fit and finish’ was a joke! Uncaulked gaps around the door, the flooring looked as if it was hastily installed, the barn-door had hardware that fell off! The worst was under the sinkthere was a swept small pile of dried grout – really!? At a property at $450/night, I would expect a whole lot more! The two star rating is kinda harsh, but the room/bathroom just killed all my other positive opinions You have a great foundation, your just too far away for me to pay that rate again

Jim Brownlee

I was impressed We had a room with a king and bunk beds for kids Clean room, very nice

AC worked great Property was nice Location good All the staff I had encounters with were friendly and helpful Pool and hot tub was open later than alot of places which I appreciateOne negative We were there with a large group for a wedding Some of the couples in our group were on the 3rd floor which was being remodeled Much different experience for everyone in the group who ended up on that floor Too hot and rooms weren’t as nice/clean

Very nice rooms and hotel But what won me over what the kind gentleman that were working the midnight shift They went above and beyond for my family

My husband is a diabetic and needed juice and they helped him Customer service goes a long way I was very happy with that because I was thinking it was going to be the opposite based on my call when booking the room, the customer service was not the same and I almost canceled my reservation The guys deserve to be recognized As a General Manager of my restaurant their kindness meant everything

We just got back home after a few days in traverse city and we stayed at this resort I really liked this place! From the check in to check out it was amazing The staff was very nice, the room was great, big bed, large room

The only issue I had was the shower was small (but I’m also 6’6), the pool and hot tub were great Definitely staying again

Candy Stallcup

Excellent view of the bay and nice nice entrance Not a fan of the pool placement

located in the front of the building and it was awkward to have people loading their cars or walking into the resort looking at you Staff were friendly and a pleasure The arcade needs attention A few machines were missing components but the air hockey machine worked fine Only vending machine working was on the lower level Breakfast was decent A mix of hot toasted and cold selections as well as a juice machine however go early supplies were running out early in the morning I got two full view spa rooms Both had great views, were clean but looked like any other hotel Water spots on the ceiling, trim and wallpaper in one room were peeling Had plumbing issues in one room however staff were fast to fix it Expected more from a place with resort in the title but looking at it as a hotel is a decent place to stay if you want a bay view

I stayed two nights recently and the stay was not ideal First, lets get some of the good things out of the wayPROs:- Location was decent (outside of the hustle/bustle of downtown TC, more in the business district with shopping nearby like Target and Meijer and Best Buy)- Updated Lobby was niceCONS:- The room was not super clean, hairs on the floor and in the bathroom- The bathroom light stopped working on the first night, I contacted the front desk TWICE to get it fixed, but they never even looked at it

It was fun showering in the dark- They said they had to do maintenance on the A/C unit when I checked in, when I came back it appears they did do that but the floor was SOAKED with water Like water everywhere in the corner I told the front desk about that also, and no one seemed to care- The pool lacked any airflow inside alsojust seemed super stuffy (not like other pools I have been in at hotels)So, all in all, it was not an ideal trip

Liz K

Absolutely amazing experience The staff is incredible and so very helpful They answered every question and were able to help with setting up the rooms for my brother’s wedding

The hotel is very clean and the rooms were bigger than I expected and very clean I really cannot stress enough how friendly every employee is that we met Highly recommend staying here!!

First time guest and we loved it!! Perfect location, very clean and attentive staff! The rooms were spacious and our bay view was beautiful A boxed breakfast was delivered to your room at your specified time, although not ideal but understand the resort is keeping health and safety in mind We received daily text to our phone asking if we needed anything

TC water sports on premises if you want to rent jet skis or boats Very enjoyable stay, we will be back!

Jalyn F

Nice location, they have a really pretty view with plenty of seating on the beach for you to enjoy Only a few minutes down the road from “downtown” Traverse City They’ll give you a breakfast form to fill out and turn in the night before and bring it to your door the next morning

The pool area is nice, warm, and clean We had a pretty nice experience overall I will say watch out for the hidden fees with this one, but I do understand the reasoning behind them

Deb Schneider

My visit was fabulous! The staff was friendly and very attentive The location is across the street from putt-putt golf, a deli, a Dairy Queen and very close to downtown Traverse City The beach is beautiful, well groomed, lots of chairs and umbrellas and has water activities

Breakfast is selected by each guest the night before and delivered to the room at the time requestedOh, and did I mention the gorgeous sunsets?

Black Star Farms Inn was pretty amazing It far exceeded our expectations Never had a single problem and the staff was always around to answer any questions or help out whenever they could

Even when the Inn Keeper leaves for the day it is noted many times that they have an after hours Inn Keeper Which we did have to call because we couldn’t get the Roku tv to cooperate but he picked up within one ring and was easily able to help us out Those people who complained in the reviews about lack of staff honestly just aren’t very bright individuals It’s a B&B not a hotel We’ll definitely be back

Black Star Farms was an amazing experience! My husband and I were treated to wine all evening! The room offered a tasting, several full glasses of wine at cocktail/apps hour, as well as a bottle for the room! The chef was incredible and the apps were delicious! I stayed here with my cousins Reggie and PJ!Great time, clean place, great views!Close to downtown!!

Matt Schweigert

Super nice decorations and a cool community feel The grounds are great, but there were a number of non-guests that were onsite which with limited number of outdoor seating and grilling was disappointingThe commute to Traverse City is easy, but the way back is terrible

Consistently 30-45 minutes of traffic extra All due to horrible stop light coordination
