Great weekend stay The pool was fun and outdoor furniture was comfortable The breakfast was good and had something for everyone

The beds and rooms were comfortable Debbie was great and made our morning brighter by welcoming us to breakfast and also helping get the pool open at 9am so the kids could swim before we left Abandoned building next door looks weird but everything seems secure and safe

DJ Blair

The hotel itself is lovely and clean The room was clean and comfortable The staff was awesome – very professional and friendly! The breakfast and kitchen staff were great! The location of the hotel, the parking lot and area surrounding the hotel were the major drawbacks to the hotel

It is situated next to an abandoned building and people living in the parking lots next to the hotel who would yell at us whenever we drove out of the lot We did not feel safe leaving our car parked in the lot unattended or walking to our vehicle to retrieve anything and felt in danger walking into the hotel after dark because of this The parking lot is small and there are signs saying “police might have bait cars in the lot” – so obviously, there have been issues with cars being broke into and/or stolen Wish there was security or better parking and no abandoned building next door Would be a great place if it weren’t for that!!! Also, no food places close by (a whole abandoned strip mall sits next to hotel with people squatting and drinking and up to no good in it (yelling at us as we drove out to look for a restaurant and making us feel unsafe) If it weren’t for the area it sits in it would be a 5 plus star rating, all the way around, for sure!

We arrived on Tuesday, August 2 and Pearl did a great job of accommodations for an early check-in China & Debbie did an awesome job with the breakfast The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable

Pool needed to be cleaned because there was small clumps of hair floating in the water There were no issues in the parking lot and we enjoyed the complimentary parking, wifi, breakfast Custodial and house cleaning staff worked tirelessly to make our stay pleasant Having 2 washers & dryers also helped

What a fantastic experience Everyone who works here was absolutely fabulous – from check in, to house keeping, to the bartenders and the breakfasts staff The lobby is modern and inviting, the rooms are large and clean, bathrooms were immaculate, beds comfortable and breakfast delicious

They pay attention to detail and the value is unreal Happy hour nightly with 2 free drinks per guest(tip your bartenders!) and breakfast had a ton of options and was delicious(tip the folks working to clear r the tables!) The employees here work hard and seem genuinely happy to be there Highly recommend and would stay again

This was my first group event since March 2020 so I was a little tentative I received very credible assurances on the safety protocols and felt comfortable bringing in 25 corporate guests for 3 days The hotel appeared fully staffed (some don’t these days) and the group coordinator was helpful and competent

The rooms were updated, clean, and comfortable The restaurant offers an excellent, cooked-to-order breakfast I did one Italian buffet dinner which was delicious and service was flawless Embassy Suites continues to be my choice for corporate groups

Candice Bowen

Had the best time with my husband and son Beautiful modern style furniture Very clean and simple

They were so accommodating, hands down some of the best room service food I’ve ever eaten That says a lot we’ve traveled around the world They also gave us complimentary drinks (2) each which is typically unheard of drinks were perfect not too strong or too sweet We will definitely be returning

Any 4 or 5 star reviews that this property has can NOT be genuine reviews Don’t walk, RUN from this property There aren’t too many options in the area and i thought i did my due diligence in selecting a simple clean hotel with good enough reviews

I was so wrong There were live AND dead ants in the room and cigar particles and beard hair in the sink upon arrival Absolutely disgusting Management unfortunately did not feel it necessary to call me back to address my concerns If you’re going to spend $250 on a hotel room, do NOT spend it here You will regret Allow my mistake to be your warning

The hotel was nice, what you would expect and the location was central to wine country But the 5 stars goes specifically to Sharon We checked in on Friday after a terrible day in San Francisco and she was the person you needed to see to ensure a good vacation for the entire weekend

She checked on us every time she saw us come back to the hotel and recommended places to us to ensure we had a great time If Sharon is still here the next time we come to NorCal, we will stay here just to see her again!!!!

This hotel did not deliver what they promised We booked a package for a higher rate than the standard rate The package states on the website wine passes, a bottle of champagne and free breakfast

The one thing that drew us into booking was the wine passes Sometimes the wineries can get a little pricey and we figured this would be nice When we checked in we didn’t get anything so I asked the front desk before we left to get lunch and they said everything would be in our room when we came back When we arrived back later a $10 bottle of champagne was in our room and no wine passes I asked why there were no wine passes and back and fourth with the front desk lady, she kept saying the bottle of champagne was in the room Finally after explaining we didn’t care about the champagne we cared about getting everything we were promised The front desk lady explained the champagne was in the room Again I said it’s not about the champagne it’s about everything that was promised in the package is not here She finally says due to covid they don’t receive passes Okay, that’s fine Covid has been going on for TWO years why wasn’t this fixed on the website TWO years ago? It’s been one week since our stay and I’ve been going back and fourth with this hotel on honoring me the price of the standard rate since we were not promised what we booked with the package rate They have yet to give us anything The only thing they have done is change their package booking on the website and finally took out the wine passes In the package From the front desk agent not letting us speak to a manager because “she’s been doing this a long time” to the front office manager Stephanie Ramirez sending me a “ the wine passes are only a 10% discount I apologize for the miscommunication” to the Hotel GM Juan saying the passes were optional No one has given us a straight answer or compensation for the package booked Why state on your website “We promise you’ll besatisfied, or we’ll make it right That’sour commitment to you Ask us aboutThe Fairfield 100% Guarantee“ if this simply is not true?

Most courteous and knowledgeable staff Lindsey, who helped take care of our room during our stay, was amazing, super nice and very detail oriented The breakfast was more than we ever expected and it was such a wonderful and yummy start to each of our days in Napa

The room was really great and the bed was very comfortable It was also great to have access to the guest laundry so we didn’t have to pack dirty clothes! We will definitely be logging this location as our go to for our visits to Napa every time! Thanks to everyone for such a great stay!

Lauren Mallet

Hotel was in close enough proximity to Napa that it was convenient However, I found it to be pretty dirty For example, the door to my bathroom had a giant splatter all over it

Also, the shower curtain did not come down into the tub and the water would get everywhere in the bathroom Also, IHG has now decided to provide nothing in the room and you have to ask the front desk for everything now, even a pen! I understand this is the Holiday Inn Express but I was expecting more than express attention to detail

My family and I have have been coming here since 2021 & we enjoy our stay every visit The daytime staff are always welcoming & hospitable Rooms are nice & we love that pretty much every time we come to stay we get the view we request of Discovery Kingdom

Also, with the cost of prices pretty much everywhere going up, we love that we can just walk to the park & enjoy Our kiddos also enjoyed the pool this time & loved how comfortable the water temperature was We love coming here On a small little note the night staff (weekdays) may want to work on their hospitality We will be back again & soon Thank you Courtyard by Marriott in Vallejo Oh and finally, the hotel manager (Kaitlin) is really nice, hospitality, & cares about the hotels guests Thank you Kaitlin & your wonderful staff

Booked weeks in advanced, but rooms oversold Checked into only room they had left It was not clean, bed unmade and garbage in the room

Smelled strong of marijuana They said they registered a room at a nearby hotel from reserves, but when we got to other hotel we found out Courtyard never called They made no other reservations for us We had to figure out our own lodging, and now I’m still trying to get my money back Do NOT recommend

Corduroy Truey

It was an alright stay and it was comfortable but when you fail to provide the basics such as drinking water, it fails expectations I woke up with a incredibly dry and sore throat but was greeted by the fact that the rooms do not provide cold water and I have to either pay for water upstairs (325$ per bottle) or you’re forced to go downstairs and use the bathroom sink

Not everyone is looking to spend 30$ on literally water

Last minute reservation, had mixed feelings from reviews This place was nice, staff was all friendly and helpful Room was clean, pool area was kept clean

I did use the hot tub briefly but seen bugs and hopped out Lol nothing major as my husband said it is outside I just don’t do bugs But I was pleasantly surprised by the property Location was great for us just on the outskirts of everything took us about 15 min to drive to Downtown Fridge and microwave in room is always great I would absolutely stay again and recommend

Craig Smith

We only spent one night there but we spent more time in the hotel then we actually did wine tasting The happy hour was killer like always and the breakfast was amazing as well Beautiful property with super warm and friendly staff

The pool was clean and warm! It’s about a mile to downtown Napa and we made the trek (in our 40’s) and had a blast in downtown Napa and just Ubered home Can’t say enough about how much we loved it There are plenty cheaper options with better views but you get what you pay for and we had a blast!

Kelly Foster

It is expensive like everything else in Napa, but we enjoyed the cocktail hour and breakfast The pool area was calm and refreshing The ladies at the front desk were kind and accommodating

The one less star is all about the AC The room was 76 when we arrived,! It took awhile for it to get to a decent temp, but it was never consistent At night I (and several others out of our group of 8) woke up sweating one moment and freezing the next With 90 degree days and 50 degree nights in the summer, we should have been able to rely on our room to be more comfortable and consistent with the temperature Otherwise, great stay!

Upon check in my family and I were greeted by two young friendly girls One was Maria who was kind enough to get us into a room a few hours before the official check in time And thank goodness cause our kids were ready to start our vacation

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained Maria was able to put us in the cottage right next to the pool which was so worth the extra money when vacationing with young kids The young girl that drove us to town was so sweet and patient with us and our kids Excellent job whoever does the hiring and/or training We will definitely be back this summer!

Rory Weiler

A beautiful property, but when housekeeping is your best service, there are issues No bar, everything stops at 9, and perhaps they just want you to go to your room A very nice, comfortable venue, but lack of food and beverage services is a downside

Wit and Wisdom is an amazing restaurant, but it’s only open 4 hours a day Convenient walk to downtown, they need to provide a more expansive guest experience

Michael Beiter

The place looks very nice on the surface but has some issues The staff is nice which is why I gave them a second star Per the picture below, I was told that this was normal for well water but having lived in the country all my life I can tell you that their well is just not properly filtered

They comped my breakfast but honestly not being able to take a bath for the week wasn’t awesomeAlso it’s important to note that if you’re staying anywhere near the pool area (which I think most are) it’s going to be unbearably bright all night long and there are no curtains in the room The blinds keep out a little bit of the light but you really need to have something to cover up the window if you want to sleep wellBesides a breakfast restaurant being very slow those were the main issues Nice place and nice staff but the rooms need some work

Joshua Kirkland

The hotel grounds were very well maintained with a nice variety of aromatic plants to sniff at on a walk The hotel itself was very nice and Sarah at the front desk was awesome and made our stay that much better But the main reason I’ll be coming back to stay, is the location of the toilet paper

They had a genius architect that must’ve actually sat on a toilet at one point in their life The roll was placed so you didn’t have to reach too far forward or have to awkwardly reach behind you to get at it It’s the small things that make a good stay a great stay

Sarah Cruz

Nice, cozy beautiful rooms The spa was amazing, peaceful, and beautifully built into a cave under the vineyard The best massage we have ever had

We loved the 21+ pool – perfect for cooling off and relaxing The service was wonderful as well Every time we checked in at a desk on site (spa desk, concierge) we were greeted with champagne

Ele Gagnon

This place is OUTSTANDING! The room was incredibly comfortable and HUGE The full kitchen allowed us to save money by buying groceries instead of eating out all the time The location was easy to find and super convenient for getting anywhere we wanted to go

The staff was friendly and quick to help with anything we needed and the room service was EXCELLENT! We will absolutely be back again and again!

Stayed here three nights while visiting the Bay Area with family of five (children ages 6-10) One of the nicer hotels we have stayed in and seems like it is new or has been remodeled recently Room was clean and spacious

Breakfast was always fantastic Valet parking is $30/day but that is to be expected when visiting the city Short walk across the street to the BART stop if you want to take the train into the city Great stay overall and we would definitely book here again!

Kirstin Rosales

Rose checked us in and she was personable and provided speedy and great customer service The suite rooms were clean and spacious along with a vast array of breakfast items our family could enjoy The only thing that was disappointing was the indoor pool was down for maintenance which is partly why we booked this hotel

It would have been nice to have been told when booking the hotel or checking in that one of the amenities was down I also wish that they provided regular coffee pods (we only had tea and hot cocoa), extra blankets and pillows in the rooms for the pull out sofa Otherwise, we will probably be back!

Erich Barischoff

Older hotel with actually a great charm to it, and clean! Second floor hall overlooks the Lobby / Diner The room is spacious with a drawing room up front 60″ flat-screen, sleeper sofa and work area in the drawing room

Separate work area and television in the bedroom Comfy bed and pillows Nice large bathroom plus fridge and micro Not bad!

Came here for a vacation for me and my wife, this place has been above my expectations Rooms are great, clean and comfortable The employees I have felt with are absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful

When you are here you need to defiantly talk to Aaron C, and Daniel G Those two helped me find places for dinner for me and my wife and all the places that they have suggested were some of the best food I have eaten The two of them took time to help me with that as well as get ideas on where to take her for shopping and things to do They were both really nice had a smile and no issue helping me and giving me ideas so that I could make this the vacation my wife neededThey went above and beyond in helping us out all with a smile and being professional because of them I will most certainly be back here for another stay soon If you are here at the resort please go down and talk with them if I could rate them as well it would be 5 stars for them as well

Heather White

Check-in was rough We arrived an hour before, not a problem as there is plenty to do on property We were told our room would be ready at 4 and that we would receive a text

5:00 came and went, still no word We were forgotten and had to return to the front desk to remind them The room was nice We enjoyed the balcony Room service was out of main items all three times we called to order for different meals The grocer on property is not what we expected Sandwiches and snacks, all overpriced The brewery closed early on Sunday and was not open during the week The tasting rooms also closed at 7:00P The breakfast cafe across the street was great as was the staff Not one time when we went to retrieve our car were there valet available The grass area was nice for socializing, but everything shut down so early, very disappointing Our first trip to Napa We will choose a different venue for our next stay

Harjee Hans

My family and I had a great time at this resort There were lots of food and drink options at the resort but the best part was by far the service Aaron and Imani from the front desk and Diane at the pool helped us out immensely at check-in and throughout our stay

These three definitely made our stay 10 times better I would stay here again whether it’s with my family or a couples’ trips I cannot speak highly enough about the customer service we received

We were going to stay only one night, but this place is so nice we extended our stay to three nights It’s very close to Napa Valley and SF so it’s a great place to stay and day trip to the local attractions The price for the room was inexpensive for what you get

Cheaper still if you are a rewards member, which is free and easy to sign up for when you make your reservation We loved our two queen suite with a well stocked kitchen and comfy living room Lovely beds and pillows There were two TVs in our room One in the bedroom and one in the living room We were able to use our FireTV Stick so we binge watched Better Call Saul 😆The hotel offers a happy hour each day with free food and drinks We enjoyed the chili dogs and beer The breakfast buffet offers lots of choices The make our own waffles are always a hit The hotel is beautiful, clean and feels like home and is located in a lovely area with a natural pond behind it We would love to stay here again

brian thompson jr

So the only reason I couldn’t give this place 5 stars was because of the room It’s a beautiful place, staff was really nice and acknowledged us everytime we walked by We loved the free breakfast every morning! That was really helpful with the kids being able to pick what they wanted

And the indoor pool was perfect after a long day of exploring! But the rooms were kind of outdated The worst part about the room was the carpets They were sticky You had to keep your shoes on the whole time and could hear your shoes peeling off the carpet with every step That’s really my only complaint other than the first night the people above us sounded like they did gymnastics all night long! We never complained cause it was good enough for the short time we spent in the room I’d still recommend this place to everyone and most likely will be back, just hope they shampoo those carpets before then!

Wonderful 360 views from the Hilltop which has Firepits, gathering areas and a mesmerizing pool Borrow a book and read in a spot of your choosing The Rooms and entrance/front desk sits at the bottom of the hill with meandering walkways and groups of units

Unlike a hotel with halls and rooms, here it’s laid out with rooms as separate “houses” with porches and front lawns Great place to relax, walk, meditate and socialize Shuffleboard and bocci for funMarket where you can purchase sundries, goods, drinks and snacks

David Woon

Only came for dinner on date night! Reservations are a must of you bank on eating here as it does book out way in advance If not you can still come to explore the beautiful grounds with Bocci ball courts, raised vegetable beds, chickens and a market to boot! The enormous covered patio features great loungers and fireside seating where if you did not have restaurant reservations still provide a smaller bites menu from the bar With drinks of course!

This property is unsafe and that is the only reason for the low rating It is modern, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, TV station options are limited, Internet speed is decent, but the property is not safe and I will not stay there again I certainly would not want my wife or daughter to stay there alone

The first night there, I was waken by a woman’s screams from the parking lot When I looked out the window, there were three police cars in the parking lot with lights flashing and a homeless woman screaming at the officersApparently, she came onto the property and started smashing out windows of multiple vehicles She told law enforcement she was “looking for her dog” She obviously had other issues In talking with other guests, they were told this was not the first such issue the hotel had They had a security guard on the property, but with multiple windows smashed, security was clearly inadequate

Seconding the reviews of others, this area is unsafe There’s nothing wrong with the hotel itself, rooms are clean and staff seems kind and attentive During my stay I noticed a couple in the stairwell as I was leaving

My door had failed to latch in the past so when I hit the bottom of the stairs I decided to go double check it By the time I was back up the couple was in my room Once I unlocked the door they pushed past me and bolted from the building, but I was pretty shaken I told the front desk and they immediately did a sweep of the place, but I would not recommend anyone stay here

Had the worst experience here Came for a 3 night stay before a wedding and didn’t even make it too the ceremony after a horrible customer service interaction The only plus to this hotel is that it is right next to McDonald’s and a Safeway

$1300 for avacado toast at their “Bistro” and Novato is far from LA for prices like that

If you’re in the Sonoma area highly recommend you pop in for a visit! Had the pleasure of a wine tasting with Maggie the general manager on a perfect WednesdayNot only was the wine phenomenal (we signed up for their wine club!) but Maggie was an incredible hostess for an elegant property that we’re looking forward to visiting again soon!

A very cool hotel We got a room overlooking the square and street and it was great being able to sit on our balcony with a morning coffee and watch everyone start their day The restaurant is easily one of the best we’ve eaten in

It is not somewhere to find a burger or fast sandwich or fast and easy dinner It is somewhere for a special night out like anniversary, weekend get away or the like The menu is fixed and paired with wine and the things we didn’t think we’d like (like oysters) turned out to be fantastic!

Place is fine and what you’d expect from a Hilton of this range Panera Bread next door was handy but there’s no really good food places nearby Service is fantastic (people so friendly) and the breakfast was phenomenal, with a range of offerings from made-to-order eggs to cereals and fruits

**Please stop offering plastic water bottles to guests in the room** The local water is drinkable and tastes fine, so why pollute the planet with a substance we know is bad and leaches chemicals into the water itself? Please: save yourself the extra money and stop

No free breakfast EVER – We have been using Hilton Hotels for many years was surprised when the receptionist said we had a complimentary breakfast when the sign clearly said it was not (and we have never gotten one ) but he assured us we did so I woke up next day and had a good breakfast then I get the bill , no problem I go to the front desk and ask do I not get a complimentary breakfast NOPE but the gentleman who checked us in said so well he is new and we will talk to him but NO But the room was quiet so slept great then after my wife checked out …BUT GET THIS THEY TOOK OFF THE CHARGE 👍🏽

Went for Mother’s Day BuffetFood wasn’t what we expected at all

The only meats were ham and roast beef The shrimp seemed previously frozen, the broccoli in the broccoli salad wasn’t sliced/chopped but whole florets Now the goodstaff and service was on point We were a party of 20 Glo our waitress was attentive, friendly and honest She apologized that our omelets were taking so long before we were restless The company and service made the day so it was worth the $40pp
