Hotel was priced well for the experience The staff was extremely friendly, even the bar tender who was servicing the whole restaurant with a smile on her face (they gave you the impression that they enjoyed their job and wanted to be there) The hotel was clean and unique in appearance (felt like we were tucked away in the mountains)

Nice ambiance Room was modern with a comfortable bed and nice view Plenty of other restaurants in walking distance as well Irish pub and a high end steak house across the street

I recently got a sweet at the hotel The receptionist was very helpful and nice He booked us in and when we got to our room we noticed that the AC was not working

After dropping off our bags we went back down and talked with him and he told us that maintenance was going to look at it “There shouldn’t be a problem with it despite the AC being out in the entrance way and the hallways were a little hot” I thought we would of gotten another suite but didn’t We got a lift to our concert and when we got back after midnight the room was cool but we could not take a shower! The hot water was stuck on so that you could not lower the temperature to prevent you from burning yourself We let the front desk know but couldn’t get a maintenance person to look at it We left the hotel without getting cleaned upAlso the room was dated, wall paper was falling off, and ants in the roomTo sum it up, we spent a lot of money for a bed and couldn’t use the shower Not giving it a one only because the front staff and the bar tender were very friendly

Tara Patterson

I came for a business trip Loved the mural on the wall, the bed was comfy & the room was spacious The hallways are colder than any hotel I have ever been to & I am not of cold nature

Other than that, I loved ot here! The staff was attentive to our needs & provided excellent customer service The food at the restaurant located inside the hotel was good too

This 5 star hotel is just phenomenal! Our safety is very important to us so, I love that you need a security card to even get on the elevator to get upstairs where the rooms are I also love that there’s a door bell on every door instead of having to listen out for a knockThe grand entrance and showstopper lobby decor is just stunning

I am all about peace and tranquility, so, I love the fountain outdoor space!

Rosie Cheeks

Parking garage is not connected to building, will have to walk across the street to park in garage Parking is $35/day with no breezeway to keep guest out of weather element is kind of excessive I notified front desk manager to ask gift shop attendee to great guests upon entrance and to offer assistance if needed

The salesperson was on the phone but a simple acknowledgement would have been appreciated 🤷🏽‍♀️ Vending machine options definitely should be available there are over 13 floors of sleeping rooms; this will help guests stay comfortably close to their rooms and grab a snack or beverage to hold them over Staying over three nights should have a benefit of two complimentary breakfast coupons up to the cost of a buffet 🤔 just maybe

Ashley Fairchild

My husband and I spent a weekend here and really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is beautiful and the room as well as the pool area were neat and very clean I loved that there was a bar and restaurant within the hotel One of the best parts was you can valet your car and use the hotel shuttle to get around, which is nice when you don’t want to have to get in all the traffic

The good: Clean room in general Decent location Great last-minute pricing

Good customer service The not so great: You can tell some updates have been done, but certain things about the room show its age The shower was a little moldyThe indoor pool was much smaller than expected, and that entire area was kind of gross The drain on the pool deck was full of hair and the room seemed like no one had bothered to clean it in a very long while

Susana Walas

Overpriced & Poor ServicePlease, please, please save your money and take your business elsewhere I booked a room for one night with a romantic package for my birthday and I was so disappointed from beginning to endFirst, the website listed the romantic package as a bottle of champagne along with breakfast served to your room

LIES! The champagne was a very very cheep bottle of J Roget Extra dry champagne (valued at $499 at our local store) and breakfast is a voucher that is used downstairs at the buffet style cafe And no one even bothered to give us the vouchers even after we asked several times and was told that we “should have” received it at check in We just got the constant run aroundSecond, the hotel room was So So So small And the bathroom shower had mold in the tiles The room fixtures where covered in dust and the phone was broken This was a motel quality room at best Our view was nonexistent (a building with a parking lot)Lastly, customer service is the worst Front desk hardly never answers and all the employees seems to be having a bad dayWe have stayed at many hotel in Atlanta and was so excited to visit the Westin My birthday was ruined and my money wasted Please heed my warning and take your business somewhere else

Adrian Rose

We had a great stay here Room was decent Staff was very nice! One thing I forgot to ask about was Parking

They offer valet and self parking I’m sure you can find a garage yourself to save a bit of money on Parking if you want Valet was only 5 or 10 dollars more than the self park in their garageOverall I would come back Lots to see and do within walking/few mins drive

My husband and I have been to this hotel about 8 times in the last 6 months and we love it It is pure luxury and the service and rooms are always over the top It is extremely clean and housekeeping is always accommodating

The last time we went we had some very unusual issues like the front desk never getting back to us multiple times, the food store not having drinks on hand, and the valet getting the wrong vehicle I could not bring myself to give 4 stars though because whenever we go we always have such a good time and we feel so well taken care of

Saloni Joshi

This review is for the Spa and Pool My friend and I were very excited to have a spa day for her 30th birthday I had called MULTIPLE times and even communicated with the Supervisor through email quite a bit to make this appointment

We wanted to ensure ALL the amenities were working (especially after Covid) as we wanted the whole Spa experience The day before our appointment, someone called to confirm the appointment They did not tell us that the amenities were out of service during this time When we showed up for our appointments, they told us the steam room, sauna and whirlpool area was down We elected not to get our massage service and were EXTREMELY disappointed by the lack of communication and nothing really being done by the staff to rectify this We took time off work, drove all the way down and all they could do was apologize and even said “oh we’re glad we can take off the cancellation fee for this” We had to cancel our appointment because of them and their lack of communication to us about the amenities! They did let us use the outdated pool where the music was so loud that we called requested them to turn it down, which of course the staff their did nothing about Also their were two guests there that decided to use the outside tranquil pond as their hot tub as they got in and sat in it for 20 minutes or so Just overall extremely disappointed by such a luxury brand Definitely far from luxury

Alexander Reid

I was very satisfied with the staff and their willingness to accommodate They all were friendly and professional Even if I had an issue with something, they were willing to resolve it quickly and offer me something for the inconvenience

Ms Ellen Daniels took great care of us and although this was my first stay at this hotel, it most certainly, will not be my last

I chose the Intercontinental Buckhead for my wedding room block this past weekend and could not have been more impressed and happy with the service From the moment we arrived until we left 4 days later, everything was handled better than I could’ve imagined Our luggage was promptly unloaded and brought up to our room

We hosted a welcome reception in the lobby on Friday evening The drinks and service were stellar and all of our guests had a wonderful experience On Saturday, the staff helped our wedding parties get up to our rooms to get ready before our ceremony Brian and Lisa, the event coordinators, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was seamless and pleasurable Every guest that stayed at the Intercontinental with us was impressed and said they would be returning during their next visit to Atlanta I could not recommend this hotel more! Thank you to all the staff at the Intercontinental for making our wedding weekend exceptionally unforgettable!

I visited here to celebrate our 21st Anniversary Our experience was very good overallThe staff was friendly and we were greeted warmly at the front desk

We dined in the Americano restaurant in the hotel and had a good experience The only this we had any issue with there was being told our food would come out as courses but the appetizer and entree came out within three minutes of each otherOur room at the hotel was great The room was very nice although it seemed somewhat small The room amenities in the room were very niceWe did have a maintenance issue when I used the shower and found myself standing in 4-inches of water due to the drain not working properlyWe found it odd that the pool closes at 9pm given it’s very light outside at that time during the summer months They should also take a look at the planters out there which didn’t seem very well maintained with the large plants being very dry and brownOverall, we had a nice experience and would keep this location on our list of places to visit againOur overall experience was good

Overall my stay was comfortable They are doing some much needed upgrades Staff chose a newly renovated room for my stay which was acceptable

However, they missed the mark when it came to the small amenities (no luggage rack, no microwave, desk chair seat was hard, toilet could use a sliding door for privacy, mini fridge needed replacing and parking should be discounted for guests even 10% off for parking would do well as a gesture) The bar area could use a serious upgrade but they’ve worked on the foyer which is nice and the atrium is nice also My stay was comfortable but for the money spent I expected a bit more luxury

The rooms need to be cleaned everyday There were bugs in my room, and the plumbing did not work in one of the rooms I reserved They told my guest that there was nothing they could do

It was entirely unacceptable The service was excellent The staff was very kind, accommodating and friendly Mr Rodney, Ms Tina, the front desk staff, and the maintenance person They were all great!

Jacquelynn Camden

I had a king suite The hotel was very clean and pretty to look at Beds weren’t super comfortable but it was better than our previous one

Showers were awesome Great pressure and had a ledge I could sit on and not have to stand the entire time, which I appreciated High quality soaps and comfy towels Overall, a good stay and I would book again

Carolyn Hunter

Would not stay again The hotel is a mess For the price you pay for this hotel it should be in allot better condition

1) water damage all over the building, stained ceilings, wall paper pealing off with obvious water damage and weird electrical issues 2) self check in and using your cell phone as a key didn’t work 3) out bathroom lights didn’t work and by the time we could address it with the hotel staff the Maintenance people have left for the day 4) the staff is Mediocre at best somewhere very helpful but somewhere very weird and did out of the ordinary unprofessional things For example after we got settled in our room and changing getting ready to go to the battery he knocked on our door and let himself in and was confused on why we were in our room that either our room was off-limits or the one next-door but never came back and gave us an update The next morning housekeeping did the same thing about 9:30 AM but it wasn’t time for us to check out so we were a little confused about that 5) I try to book a room with a breakfast package and I saw that on the app when I booked the room but when I got there they said that wasn’t a feature It was OK for just one night but I would not recommend someone stay there There are better hotels in the area for the same price

Tru by Hilton is close to Truist Park – that is a plus Though for the price per night (even if it was New Years) I would have expected more The staff is great! They alone get 5 stars

And with a staff shortage we understand things are not perfect The shower had weak water pressure, probably that room in particular Also – though there was a refrigerator there was no Microwave For $215 for the night at least we should have that The rooms are small yet cozy And the beds are good The rooms are extremely clean when you check in The staff were all wearing masks, however guests would not wear masks when downstairs, even though there are signs everywhere stating that everyone should wear masks in the public areas We will stay there again due to location and cleanliness of rooms, just please find a way to put in microwaves in the rooms and make sure the water pressure in the showers of all the rooms is good Thanks

Sy Sandhu

Awesome hotel! We stayed here only for a night as it was 1/2 way for a road trip and wasn’t sure what to expect The parking lot is fully well lit to ensure security of the car, the amenities are everything you could need, we were all extremely satisfied There no microwave in the room but there’s one in the lobby and that’s perfectly fine

The microwave was slightly dirty and the guy behind the desk thoroughly cleaned it for us which he didn’t have to Exceptional service from everyone we interacted with here I stupidly left my toothbrush at home and it was so late but they provided me one until I could by one in the morning at the target nearby which was so nice of them The breakfast was alright but for being free you can’t complain The beds were extremely comfy, the bathroom was nice and modern The gym was nice The lobby had a pool table, tea, hot chocolate anything you could need Very impressed for the price of this hotel will be back Also it’s right off of 75 so it’s easy to find

Nathan Bonilla

Came in yesterday night from hearing all positive reviews about the outstanding service delivered by the French man I was exceptionally pleased by the service and overall presentation of the hotel Most of all, I got the most warming welcome from the front desk agent Godavious! He spoke about it being his second day but I couldn’t tell because he knew all nearby attractions, details about the overall hotel and an amazing sense of style! We spent 4 nights at this location recently The room was very comfortable The queen beds didn’t seem like a standard queen, but a little smaller

They were still quite comfortable The location was close to everything We could be to shopping and restaurants within minutes The staff was very accommodating We had an issues where our keys were lost and the staff quickly deactivated them and issued new ones The food options on site were a bit pricey It would’ve been nice to have a complimentary breakfast considering the nightly rate I wish there had been more affordable options Other than that, it was a pleasant stay

Trent Hardville

This hotel is just a solid place to stay I’m giving it five stars because I went to the Battery Park area and spent a ton of money on mediocre drinks and food throughout the week This hotel has a refrigerator by the front desk that they have stocked with the best food I’ve had

No joke I had a Cobb salad that could feed two people and it was delicious!!! They had a chocolate cheesecake that was better than any dessert that I tried in this area Normally I would not eat food out of a refrigerator hotel’s front desk The food is surprisingly great! Everyone is super nice I would definitely stay here again

Cristina M

From the moment you step into the hotel you can tell it’s well taken care of, clean and everyone is welcoming Everyone is super friendly My room was extremely clean

I was here attending a conference and we used all the meeting spaces but the best part was the catering! The food was so amazing and displayed beautifully As a foodie I took lots of food pictures!

Jaime Echerivel

Enjoyed my stay here I like that it is a new hotel with great in room a/c The staff was always helpful

Plus much better than my prior stay at the local MarriottMinor improvements would be daily housekeeping with no request, room key in/out privileges to parking garage rather than getting a sticker each time, and better control of flies in lobby eating area

Drisana Biswas

My family and I came here for a nice vacation This hotel was impeccable! It was next to great attractions and delicious restaurants The room was very spacious

The beds were very comfy and new and the view was beautiful! The kitchen had clean utensils, a fridge, and a microwave It even came with a cute breakfast nook! The shower had low water pressure, but that was just a minor thing The staff was very friendly and always made sure to do the best to their ability Staff also made it easy to check in and out The breakfast was decent; scrambled eggs, sandwich, tea, and even more options! There was modern furniture and nice music playing The atmosphere was perfect! We will definitely come back here soon Fantastic!

A two night stay at the Kimpton for a business trip The room is adorable, the hotel is nicely appointed FYI the bathroom is an open concept bathroom

The bedding and sheets are FABULOUS, and high quality All of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful The Betty has a great breakfast, super quick sit down service and great quality There is an upstairs rooftop bar with great city views, at the hotel I would absolutely stay again

David Rierson

Nice clean new hotel Simple room without a lot of amenitiesOutstanding restaurant on site, had a great dinner there

Went the following morning for breakfast, waiting a long time to be seated, then no one came to take our order Only one server was on duty, and when we saw her chatting up another party that came in after us we leftParking is valet only at $45 a night

Mellimel 71

I really want to like this hotel The ambiance is there It’s definitely unique but that’s where it ends

I think because I paid through a 3rd party site, I got the 3rd party treatment and room In order to even get ice I had to make multiple requests with the front desk and wait (and repeat) There’s absolutely no access to a microwave The bed was a big bowl of sadness but since you’re awaken by the loud noises of every door on your floor opening and slamming shut it’s ok because you won’t sleep much The only shining stars were the bartenders at the Betty They were the friendliest people I encountered in my 3 night stay Last thing The rooms were clean but had a mix of old (mostly) and new One of the workers told me I should have had more in my room But I reckon I can’t miss what I’ve never had I’m as disappointed at the fact that I didn’t take pictures as I am that I stayed

This was a pretty nice hotel I loved the downstairs seating & overlook The Bistro has a small menu, but the people who work there really make it! We became friends with a woman who worked there

I wish I had gotten her name cause she was so pleasant & despite working 8 days striaght, still managed to do it with a smile ob her face & wonderful customer service! The rooms were nice & spacious I loved the large chair provides My only complaints were the shower not having a door & the mattress cover Clearly if you want to fully protect against bed bugs, then the mattress cover must be zipped Other than that, my stay was great Would def recommend if staying in Atalanta as it offers a wonderful view of the city skyline

Maxie Tharpe

First off, the staff dressed in regular clothing, which was unprofessional I couldn’t tell who worked there and who didn’t! You also had to pay for absolutely everything We received two complimentary coffees that you could make in your room and that was it

The coffee downstairs you had to pay for as well as everything else A tea bag? Yup, better pay up This wouldn’t have been a problem if we were notified beforehand Because we wouldn’t have stayed thereI also witnessed a guest asking the bistro manager a couple of questions and the manager was so rude to her! She was getting so worked up over the guests questions, the guest even responded that she wasn’t trying to argue or pick a fightThe worst part of it all was at 1:00am the fire alarm goes off All of the guests have to stand outside for 45 minutes Not ONE worker came to us telling us what was going on They were no where to be seen! They could have been behind the desk but the people were dressed in workout clothes, so I could not identify who worked there There was never an explanation, never an apology After waiting 45 minutes, someone yelled “go back to your rooms now!” The whole experience was so rude and frustratingOverall, I would never come back to this hotel It was not a positive experience

Yousif Alkadhi

So, probably more a 35 star hotel Relatively new looking

Felt like a safe area and bonus points for having electric car chargers available in the parking deck (which weren’t blocked by other cars) But, the online reviews mentioning ants everywhere are true and there was some orange / red stain next to the couch They did have adjoining rooms which was a plus for us

The rooms were very clean and the bed was so comfortable In a great area of town away from the craziness of downtown The evening staff was very nice but the morning staff was not so friendly

The bar was nice but the drinks are all mostly bottom shelf liquors and cheap beer Parking was easy and accessible Pretty good complimentary breakfast as well Better than most hotels I’ve stayed at I would definitely stay here again

Overall, I was pleased with our night at the embassy Check in was smooth, the room was fine, customer service was great, and the amenities were adequateCons:-The pool needed a deep clean… like bad

-The parking situation is kind of a headache-We both definitely got sick from the dinner or breakfast and changed our entire vacation schedule around where the closest bathroom was… EekPros:-Front desk staff & breakfast staff were very accommodating and kind!-The soaps in the room were great-Proximity to everything was superb!-Breakfast was super tasty

The hotel is located in a great location The size of the hotel is large Good size rooms

Breakfast is so worth it, good selection and made to order omelets and French toast The negatives are the pool/jacuzzi ares were dirty The rooms were not the most clean, our refrigerator had hair in it And overall it was a little dated But not the worst hotel

We stay at a lot of hotels due to my husband’s career, and I like to leave very honest reviews This was a beautiful hotel It smells lovely everywhere you go and everyone was helpful and friendly

The valet service is incredible, specifically Patrick and one other gentleman (his name slips my mind but he has a beard! 🙂)—they were so great One recommendation is that the rooms aren’t that big for a big family and that isn’t on the hotel, that was on us; we have 5 children but we made it work with one room just fine The rooms are normal size, just get two rooms if you have a bigger crowd and prefer more space We stayed for 5 nights and it was great! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Wow WOW WOW WOW what an amazing hotel Stayed for 2 nights (wish I could’ve stayed longer) and everything from check-in to the water pressure in the shower was seamless I absolutely loved staying here

The decor was so cool, the staff were just amazing and just the overall experience was top notch I will to the end of days refer your hotel to anyone I know that’s going to ATL Thank you so much for the great stay! It’s hotels like this that make me love traveling 🥰

Love love loved this hotel! Prob my favorite hotel I’ve stayed in The decor is beautiful-that in itself is worth a trip here! The rooms are perfect (They give you water in your room as well-such a bonus!) ♥️ The staff is amazing-like truly

Every person we came in contact with was so friendly They genuinely are nice people who care and you don’t feel like they are just doing the “job” only little thing was the restaurant was a tad slow and felt unorganized but def not enough to keep me from coming back! Def hope to visit again soon!!

It was JUST OKAYThis was not a good experiencePros: Conveniently located off I-20

Nice lobby Great water pressure for bathingUnfortunately the cons outweigh the pros:First, Im a no smoker and had to request a room change because of the heavy smell of marijuana filling the hallway and eventually my room The next days, I woke to the strong smell of cigar smoke in my room in this “nonsmoking”facilityThis hotel is on one of the busiest parkways in Atlanta Traffic is nonstop and at a high rate of speed There are no sidewalks so walking across the street to the convention center or mall is not safe There is a walk bridge but you have to leave the property to get to it The service elevator to the road leading to the bridge was down, however; so be prepared if you are planning to shop and carry back heavy itemsAlso, I was advised after the fact that you now have to request housekeeping services for your room to be tended “because of the pandemic”

The rooms were fresh and clean Service staff was very friendly and supper responsive Breakfast team knocked it out of the park

Remembering our tables coffee order ever day Front desk was supper Location is great for getting to a Braves game The Cumberland mall is a bit dated but good meal options No safe way to cross the street from the hotel parking garage to the mall so be careful The Galleria mall is ready to be used as a 1980s horror movie set 1989 called and said to stop using their style

Patrick Labbett

We had some issues, but overall the hotel service was good! The vanity mirror had a frayed cord and caused a spark, and they shut off the water and elevators without notice on 1 day of our 5 night stay for maintenance We probably wouldn’t have noticed except my wife was in the shower at the time and then couldn’t get downstairs from the 16th floor to ask about the water The lobby is nicer than the rooms, which could use a renovation, but were otherwise fine

Use the garage elevator to the mall to access the walkway across to The Battery – it’s a pleasant walk
