What a stunning location! A quiet piece of paradise just up the hill and only minutes from being central to everything you need We had a fabulous stay, with everything that we could ever have asked for! Our room was spacious and well appointed, super comfortable and breakfast was delicious The property is not something you should miss either
All round exceptional and would highly recommend!

Yes, the coveted five star review From start to finish, this was a spectacular place to stay if you are looking at getting away from people, and enjoying extreme luxury With beautiful grounds, you would think that would be the selling feature, but it is the customer service which makes this place stand out
Dan from start to finish was outstanding Always there when you needed anything, but never in your way After a year of covid debacle, Dan was able to get our reservations secured, and was literally waiting outside the door upon our arrival a year later Its quiet, somewhat remote, and everything you need is taken care of Rarely does a place get a five star review from me, but if you find yourself in Maui, this is a place that should be experienced at least once in your lifetime
Geoff Carignan
We just left Ho’oilo House after spending our honeymoon there and had the BEST time I’ve never felt more comfortable, accommodated, and relaxed in my life Such a beautiful place, amazing views, and lovely people

We LOVED our stay here!!!! The hotel is less than 1min away from the beach, just walk across the street!!! The staff are friendly and attentive We had a suite style room with a full kitchen and living room Loved that we had a full-sized fridge

It was a fairly nice one night start Room and bed were clean The property seems a bit old and worn, but everything was comfortable
One of the window latches was broken, and the screen door didn’t work properly either Everything else was fineNo breakfast available, but there was coffee and snacks at the reception areaOverall, this is a good budget option for the area

We arrived to fresh flowers all over the room and fresh banana bread The views are amazing and the restaurant was also just as good Stay here! You definitely won’t regret it

Just a fantastic experience for our honeymoon We didn’t want the cookie cutter resort experience and the Inn gave us just what we were looking for – a comfortable and lovely full amenity apartment, a great lanai, excellent beach access, and a quiet and relaxing trip Everything was easy, from parking to dinner reservations next door
The staff were incredibly friendly and we enjoyed just being ‘local’ for ten days on the north side of the island Highly recommend
Peter van Beek

We loved this little hotel Quiet area with pool, beachfront, and excellent restaurants within walking distance Basic complimentary breakfast
Kitchens in your room Grills on property for use Loved listening to the sound of the waves at night No TVs, no distractions Just about being present And the beds/pillows are AMAZING! Best nights sleep we’ve gotten in a long time You sit on the bed and you’re out Haha Rooms are comfortable Definitely recommend
Jamie mckinney
This place is very nice outside The grounds are immaculate! The beach is so beautiful and the staff is extremely nice The problem is, you can hear every conversation going on next door and above you
We had to get up at 4am for an early excursion and got maybe 3 hours of sleep because the couple next door was arguing, then once they finally went to bed someone over there was snoring uncontrollably! It was insane! I’ve never experienced a more noisy room in my life! I almost went and slept in the rental car! Parking is also an issue Tight spots and not enough for all the guests No bar or restaurant on the premises either but there are a few places you can walk to As beautiful as it is, I don’t think I can come back here with how thin the walls are which is a real bummer because it’s absolutely beautiful!
Kristina Johnson Mazourek
We really enjoyed our stay Absolutely beautiful grounds and well maintained rooms Staff and other guests were very friendly
Beach out front is gorgeous—one of the nicest beaches we saw on MauiWe enjoyed using the grill by the pool and having a kitchenette in the room Going out to eat is expensive on Maui so it was nice to supplement with making our own foodContinental breakfast offered is good but light We bought some yogurt to go along with it Recommend bringing a coffee mug and plate from your room

We booked two rooms through Costco for my family and my parents We had requested adjoining rooms at booking When we arrived they had us on completely different floors which was not going to work with how much we wanted to spend time together
They found us new rooms on the ground floor a few rooms apart We did lose out on our ocean view that we paid extra for but it was EXTREMELY convenient to be on the ground floor fairly close to the pool We were not far from our room which made the many trips back to our room betterWe enjoyed the pool everyday and ate from every restaurant The staff was always great and attentive We rented a cabana for one of our pool days and we really enjoyed having the service and shade Highly recommend a cabana We booked this prior to arrivingThe hotel also has sunscreen stations which was a lifesaver for the harsh sun on kids!We saw turtles swimming by black rock and even jumped off So much fun! We would stay here again
Priya Ball
Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again The resort definitely shows some age and is not as modern as most of the other places along the beach, but the rooms are decent and the location on the beach is really great You can go snorkeling straight off the beach, or go cliff jumping into the ocean if that is your thing
The pool is large and windey Not a lot of features to it, but plenty of space for everyone We got an ocean front room and were pleasantly surprised with the size, it was larger than we expected and had 2 balconies The actual ocean view you get likely cannot be matched by other resorts given how the Sheraton is at the very end of the beach and stick out quite far The bathrooms are showing their age but everything was well cleaned and maintained The open air lobby is beautiful and is a really nice spot to hang out and enjoy ocean views The Coral Reef restaurant is tasty and Cliff Dive bar is one of the best views to get with your expensive cocktail Skip the Sandbar The game room is in sore need of repairs but the fitness center is fairly modern Above all else the views from the Sheraton are breathtaking
Lauren
Incredible friendly staff! Saved us from a place down the way that was not clean or comfortable so this was a nice upgrade The room is nice but very standard The amenities are great but you have to pay a fee to use them and nothing is included
It would be nice for how much you pay to have some drinks included or some other things to be used in the pool and on the beach to be complimentary We had a very positive experience and the views the facility was amazing

I’ve been staying here for years If you choose this place you won’t regret itNice resort Wish they had more servers around the pool area and beach facing lounge chairs area Parking convenient below each building Located in a nice resort area but it’s a long drive to the national park and road to Hana The beach at the resort is great for snorkeling
Jessie Garcia
Gorgeous place! The villas were very clean, spacious, and large We had a 2 bedroom lock off for a family of 4 and we felt so at ease and comfortable The facility has several pools to choose from just steps away from the beach
The tennis/pickle-ball/basketball courts were always open and you could rent equipment for free through the front desk The shuttle bus taking you to different areas of the island nearby was so convenient The staff were friendly and very accommodating I loved the sparkling water machine to fill up my water bottle in the lobby, such a nice touch! My family and I ate several times at the restaurants on the property I remember Auntie’s Kitchen because we ended up there the most, but they were all great! So many beautiful plants, flowers, and trees on the property too!

It really is pretty No full kitchen or laundry in our room which is a bit disappointing since it’s a vacation club Our rooms are quite large, which is why I wish we could have laundry
The staff for the most part are awesome!Within walking distance of shops and restaurants so you don’t have to leave unless you want to Lots of stuff for kids to do The pools are really nice and have fun features

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have prices much cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This resort is one of the best in this area
I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few days you definitely won’t be disappointedHuge shared space, large dining table, full kitchen (full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, 5 burner stove, conventional oven, microwave, toaster, blender, dishes and utensils for 8), two master suites with king beds, jacuzzi tub, two sofa beds Beach views within hear shot of soothing crashing waves
Michael Teleha
Very torn between 3 and 4 It is a nice place to stay Parking is good staff is friendly
Like most hotels not enough staff Easier to get your own a lot of the time then wait for server Free self parking Food is typical Balconies on the room are a disappointment First too narrow Then handrail at eye level Finally- a wall ⅔ up the railing height every other floor blocking views I think the lack of depth is what makes them tuff to manageTypical free gift that is not a gift It is a gift after you take a tour and hear the sales pitch = not much of a resort credit for 2-4 hours of your time

Absolutely the best view and service I loved waking up and seeing their swans and other birds in their court yard
As well as the birds chirping The otherside you can hear and maybe see the nightly luau The beach is right outside of the walkway Kids pools were great for the little ones It ties in with the other pool They had water slide and all the convince we needed for our best vacation in our lifetime Regency was the best of all the locations when visited HawaiiIf we ever go back this is the o e for us
Surya Teja
Awesome property to stay Hyatt is so generous to its customers I highly recommend their hotel statuses which can get you a nicer room if available
Many activities at this location We loved the free morning yoga at the Napili gardens Staff is super friendly Japengo’s food is awesome and do an early reservation; and to the Pacific drums of Luau
Carlos Castro
Our visit to the Spa was nice and the Massage and the Rock Massage was amazing! There was only a couple things that dropped our rating that was: Marilyn Monroe never came to the place so it doesn’t hold any actual connection to her, upon making the reservation for a couples massge we weren’t encouraged to arrive early to use the Sauna, Jacuzzi, Steamroom or relaxing area So once all was said and done we got dressed and went about our day
Overall it was very nice as a first for us @ $165 for full body Massage and $180 for Stone full body Massage and a mandatory %20 gratuity totalling $428 I might recommend passing on this to utilize the money on larger activities, to create more memories but in all that’s up to each person We do do appreciate what we did receive So Thank you!!

Stayed at Noah’s Hideaway during our honeymoon in August and it was such an incredible experience Your are very close to the beautiful beach while avoiding the large crowds The hosts were wonderful
Our breakfast was served poolside every morning and we looked forward to waking up to a text with the daily menu Fadi was wonderful to chat with each morning and full of lots of great recommendations Our dinner plans got canceled one night and he called my husband to talk through some good options nearby The room was comfortable and clean and very private We plan to visit Maui in the future and will definitely be staying here!
Vishnu Nagalapuram
Amazing place! Everything is very well thought out Delicious, global breakfast poolside every morning, great attention to details We visited a nearby resort spa and felt that the resort was really crowded, the whole resort, swimming pool, and common areas
In Noah’s hideaway, at the most, there are only 4 people at a time to enjoy all the amenities We never really crossed path with the other guests You’ll feel like you have the whole place to yourself with great privacy You have things like umbrella, ice box, beach chairs, snorkel gear that’s free to use Recommend going through the guide that the host sends after you book your reservation, this would help in prepping for the trip itselfOverall, great place! Worth staying here again if we visit Maui in the future

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your place This web site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in this area
I have been staying here for years If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t be let downFamily friendly and everything was super easy We opted for the one bedroom suite and it was HUGE, especially compared to other places like the Hyatt You get way more bang for your buck here Staff works really hard to make the resort clean and running smoothly Tip well! Walk to Whalers village, pool area is awesome and there’s tons of stuff for kids Obviously resort dining is quite overpriced but convenient If you want better food for cheaper I’d leave the resort area and bring it back Free trolley will take you to Whalers or other resorts
Tami Burnett
Great Location to spend a week with the family! Easy access for shopping and restaurants and perfect flexibility for families The kitchen amenities make it an ideal location for families who may want to relax at home rather than going out It’s the best of both worlds
Just like everyone else says the parking is horrible Be prepared to unload the family from the car before parking in the stalls We brought floaty‘s to enjoy in the pool and had a lot of questions about where we got them from Amazon and they’re super easy to pack! Also keep your screen doors closed in the condo because birds will fly in and take food off your kitchen table
Suzanne Dieter
We’ve been coming the this Marriott since 1997 and it never fails to deliver a fantastic experience! The staff is amazing – they are beyond friendly and welcoming, we feel like family every time we check in Krystle is like a big sister to the tribe that is my parent’s grandchildren, she’s seen the older ones grow up and now is meeting the younger generation, and they all love her! She does the kid’s activities throughout the day and we had kids from 21 to 3 years old just loving hanging out with her At the pool bar the bartenders remember our faces year after year and always have a smile for us
The staff hasn’t changed in the last 30 years, so that’s saying somethingThe views from the pool are amazing, you can walk to Whaler’s Village in 10 minutes, you’re a 5 minute drive to Lahaina, and the rooms are supremely comfortable You can’ ask for more

It’s nice that it’s more isolated which a positive we felt Staff were so friendly and great The Banyan Tree was average at best and service wasn’t great
Overall expected so much more The lounge is solid with drinks and food and staff was great By far the worst of 3 places we stayed in Hawaii The valet was great although sometimes took a while and one day left on side where slippery and someone fell One hot tub never seemed to get warmIt needs updates I get it’s set back more from beach which is ok but just needed more Food and drinks close way too early too Spa was booked up Just overall dated and not a Ritz quality Great on helping with transportation and helping at valet I don’t think I’d return overall it was nice but not what you expected and pay for itA few updates and changes I’d go again

I want to give 5 stars but issue 2nd night with waiter at dinner Otherwise service was excellent! Shout-outs to Margy at the front desk, Z at the breakfast restaurant, & Al for the delicious omelets served with a smile (please get that man new pans!) Service was impeccable
Location is nice if you want to get away from the crowd but 30 minutes or more to most attractions However, there’s a great beach steps away from the property along with a nice trail

We stayed here for 4 days in January 2022 and had an AMAZING time The staff greeted us with leis and fresh drinks before we even walked in the door We had an ocean view room overlooking the golf course with incredibly beautiful views
The staff was exemplary and helpful The burger shack & banyan tree both had amazing food and the pool was spectacular The beach was also amazing and you could see whales breaching from allAround Napili beach was 3 minutes away with the BEST snorkeling and everything we wanted to do was close Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This hotel is immaculate Everything about it is amazing It was a bit pricey, but every bit worth it in my groups opinion
The staff are all wonderful, the property is beautiful with manicured landscaping and foliage everywhere Gorgeous views of the mountains & ocean! The rooms are spacious, spotless & so comfortable! The kitchen comes with almost everything needed in a kitchen for the necessities and very spacious with a lot of pantry space The pool area has a large pool with 3 hot tubs and a fair amount of beach chairs Pool restaurant has good (but pricey) drinks A nice walkway out back by the ocean that’s easily accessible & makes for a nice walk at any point in the day The Westin definitely knows how build & manage hotels!!!

This is a very nice resort in Ka’anapali We had a spacious two bedroom unit (ground floor building 8) that’s adjacent to the pool Kids were able to just walk out of the living room through the patio to the pool area
We loved the resort except for a few things The pool gets quite full and becomes too noisy even into the evening Whatever housekeeping use to clean the floors leaves a residue on the floor, we had to clean it again Overall a excellent resort

Worst customer service I have ever experienced They have a no smoking policy, which is great On morning four of our stay, we were abruptly awaken by a security guard repeatedly banging on our door
Upon answering, the guard, in a very rude and aggressive manner, stepped forward and shoved no smoking warning in my face Once I realized what they were talking about, I assured them that no one was smoking They continued to accuse us of smoking and aggressively entered my personal space with their mask only half covering their face I eventually invited them to enter our suite in order to prove our innocence Upon examining our suite and realizing that they made a mistake, their tone changed Fast forward three days After we checked out and arrived at the airport I received a revised bill from the hotel which included a $400 “Deep Clean” charge When I called the hotel and spoke to Joyce about the charge and my experience with the security guard, she was incredibly rude and unrelenting Now I have to spend a ton of my time debating our innocenceEven without this incident, I would not recommend this hotel There are a number of better options up and down the beach

Quiet, peaceful and a wonderful stay on MAUI Park the car, put your feet up, don’t worry about a thing is how I describe our stay at The Old Wailuku Inn The Inn is a wonderful place to relax, figure out the adventure for the day, but only after you have one of their wonderfully presented and delicious breakfasts
Have it in your room, on the Lani, or at a table surrounded by beautiful vegetation The staff are delightful and there if you need them Otherwise, you feel like you are home Rooms are excellent and well decorated with terrific beds I could not get enough of the bathroom and shower, just wonderful Make the break from big and busy hotels as this is true Hawaii relaxation

Although not super close to a beach, it was the perfect location for all our driving tours (Road to Hana, upcountry, and Haleakala sunrise) The beautiful historic house was very charming, and the owners/hosts are truly wonderful people! It was fun talking with them learning about there life in Maui, and the breakfasts were very good, even with COVID restrictions We let them know the morning before our Haleakala sunrise, and they made a delicious to go breakfast that evening and put it in our mini fridge
It was just what we needed the next morning at 3:00am!! lolThank you for the wonderful stay!! We will be back!

We loved Hawaii! We did not love Paia Inn so muchPossibly we chose a very busy time to visit, but Paia Inn felt extremely over-priced and poorly maintained We paid $650/night for two nights, for a very small room
The lock didn’t work without lots of jiggling, there was black mold around the shower-head, which also repeatedly fell out onto my headThe service was very pleasant and efficient The area by the sea was idyllic
Alex McClure
This boutique hotel has fantastic customer service We accidentally booked our room for the wrong date and when we showed up, they were already fully booked for the night Savannah at the front desk called in the owner and they worked hard to pull some strings and find a room for us to stay in that night
It felt like they really went out of their way to help us and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone 🙂
Emily G
I’m incredibly surprised at these positive reviews Paia Inn was so very disappointing We aren’t particularly fussy travelers and we are very familiar with Hawaii, having gone multiple times, and this place was over $600 a night
We booked far in advance What we got for that money was an extremely disaffected staff of young women in their early 20s who didn’t even give us a cursory tour of the property when we checked in, which is MUCH NEEDED because the place is a labyrinth and the entry and exits and multiple keys are super confusing The room was TINY and didn’t even include even basic comforts–we couldn’t adjust the temperature, the windows didn’t have curtains, no coffee machine (just a knockoff Nespresso in the common area) Bed is nothing special and not particularly niceYou do get a mini-fridge and can use beach chairs The beach access (once you find it) is very prettyAll the staff does is take selfies in mirrors and curate their spotify playlistsI couldn’t believe what you get for $600 a night!!We checked in to another WONDERFUL BnB later that week on Maui (Moana Lani) which was HALF the price per night, included a fully cooked hot breakfast and much better round-the-clock coffee, snacks and fresh fruit, private AC, and all the extras like bicycles, boogie boards, chairs, etcDon’t stay at Paia Inn It’s simply not worth the price

I have been coming here for years If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t regret itMy husband and I, stayed here yesterday last minute due to having to leave our honeymoon with an emergency at home Very accommodating hotel Offered shuttle service from the airport Had the best service from the gentleman that worked the bar/restaurant area inside the hotel Very clean hotel and rooms Would absolutely stay again

This hotel has an excellent location near the airport (especially if you have an early flight the next day), the rooms are clean, comfortable and well-priced and it is also super-convenient to all of the shopping and food trucks in Kahului However, the best reason to stay here is the excellent customer service The staff and management is efficient, accommodating and very professional
They helped me with a big scheduling/technical error and handled it in the most professional and respectful manner I will definitely stay here again and customer services like this is why I am a loyal Marriott Bonvoy customer!!!

Very welcoming, super clean hotel Was nice to stay there for 2 nights before our resort time began Bed very comfortable and shower amenities have a good smell
Only uncomfortable thing was the couch but those are typical of Courtyard’s and therefore has nothing to do with the comfort of this hotel I recommend this hotelI

This was a very nice resort Everything was pretty much open-air Being from the main land this was a surprise to us but was nice
They offered different classes during the day, which was nice I took advantage if the lei-making class Different types if leis were shown before teaching how, which was very interesting The restaurants in the resort were very good and we quickly learned that they required reservations The sunset view from our balcony was beautiful
Amy D
My husband and I stayed here in May and absolutely loved it! The resort is beautiful and we had so much fun! We would definitely stay againIt was in such a peaceful area and far exceeded our expectations The food at the restaurant was also really good and they offered a lot of activities at the resort
We recommend this resort to anyone who comes to Maui!
Vincenzo Pandolfi
Very disappointed in the room and mattresses We were put in a wheelchair accessible room, which is not what we booked They never made us aware at check in of this downgrade
This was very inconvenient for us The mattresses were absolutely horrible No support They did switch one out for us, but it was just as bad The beds are low to the ground with less support than the beds in the standard room next to us, which we paid for We paid a considerable amount of money and did not get this value in our stay We enjoyed everything else about the resort, but unfortunately a good night sleep is the most important part of a vacation, which we did not get All three of us staying in this room are experiencing a lot of back and neck pain due to the poor mattresses Don’t let them put you in room 6029!! We deserve some type of compensation for this issue that significantly had a negative impact on our stay

This one is tough to write When my family and I first arrived, we were welcomed into a beautiful, spacious room The balcony alone was breathtaking, plus the view
We immediately experienced an issue with the fridge/ice maker, but it was resolved quickly by the maintenance teamThe second afternoon we were there, we were eating dinner when my kids noticed an “ant” Then, they pointed out that there was a cockroach! Granted, I get it – coming from Florida, but it was not expectedThe hotel responded quickly and moved us to a new room, but the room was much smaller and had less of a view, even though they said it was the same in terms of square footage I’d argue that, but we made the best of the time we had thereThere wasn’t good communication about how to go about getting towels for the pool either I didn’t realize some have a wristband and can use the towel machines, whereas others have a card and have to request them from the shack, for the white towelsParking is also a nightmare in the garage if you self-park, and unfortunately they have low staffing it seems so valet took foreverThe rooms also need updating The sliding door wouldn’t open in one room, and the window coverings were stainedOverall, we made the best of our experience, but I don’t think this resort will be our first choice going back to Maui
Kiki Cooper
I’m mid stay here so will update at the end of the stayThey have no cleaning, despite the length of the stay no cleaning is done of the guest rooms Only when asking for a mop and bucket to be able to clean ourselves in this case, they let us know that they can clean if we request it 24 hours in advance
COVID is used as an excuse for the lack of cleaning but is difficult to believe when they have literally no other social distancing measures in placeWhen we checked in the toilet was clogged, housekeeping hadn’t done anything for this And both bath tubs were dirty The bedsheets also had stains on them Which makes it worse that they do no cleaning throughout the stay because they don’t even start you off with clean roomsRooms are also quite dated but the sofa and beds are comfortableService can be touch and go, sometimes people are really helpful and other times notI would not say that this was really a 4 star accommodation, it feels a lot more like 2/3The pools are nice, but are a bit small And people claim the sun loungers all day with towels despite not actually having intentions to go to the pool their belongings are never removed despite warning signsThe location is nice, and close to the super market and not too far from the other towns
Jake Laurrell
I’m kinda torn on this review It was probably going to get a 5/5 but the last day of our stay soured it a bitThe bad: The room we had was pretty outdated, but that’s not a huge deal
It was disappointing that they are not currently doing room cleanings Instead, you call for more towels or trash service — which is fine but there’s numerous daily fees that we still payThe no cleaning problem kinda showed itself on our last day We opened a kitchen cabinet and 2 cockroaches fell to the floor and scurried away I can’t help but assume that they are only there because of infrequent cleaningsThe good: Beautiful location, very convenient amenities, great staff Good restaurant on site Pools were nice and the beach nearby was amazingThis is definitely a family oriented resort, as there were many with young kids here For some that will be a pro, others not so muchWould be a 5/5 if the roaches didn’t show themselves after we were already turned off by the lack of cleaning services during our stay
