Wonderful The people are genuinely nice and fun but professional Christine is amazing! The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed

The beds and pillows are very comfortable for a hotel The public areas are open and inviting with comfortable seating options, room for kids to run, wide halls and a general feeling of comfort There are two separate outdoor areas to enjoy The pool is clean, having the exercise room and laundry was great for our extended stay One of my best experiences ever

What an absolutely amazing 1 night stay Quick trip to the capital city of Raleigh for a birthday celebration Our front desk associate made my wife feel super special because it was her birthday celebration and she was super nice to the both of us

The rooms are super spacious and squeaky clean! Felt like a small apartment with all of the amenities, great hotel Most definitely coming back!

J Sawyer

Very clean room, as well as lobby, patio areas, pool, elevator, etc

We felt safe and secure with the extra measures of room key access required for elevator operation and entry into the hotel after 9pm Quiet and orderly fellow guests Comfy bed, sofa pullout for the little one, plenty of spaceespecially the kitchenette It’s as if they did an AirBnB market analysis to pinpoint what guests want and reimaged the typical hotel room Each inch of the room is intentional, user friendly, and did I mention clean??!! We also enjoyed the clean HEATED poolThe surrounding area was not important for us on this trip, but from what the eye can see it’s a ghost town from what it use to be The mall is less than desirable, however the Barnes & Noble with a Starbucks inside it was great! We ordered food delivery for supper and enjoyed it on the hotel patio

Overall, this hotel was fine The common areas were very clean, the room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was just right (extra points for fitted sheets), and the included breakfast was goodHowever, there were several details which detracted from our stay:1) The entire hotel was apparently out of shower gel (which I can understand), but knowing this, housekeeping should have accounted for this by leaving extra soap in each room, which they did not do

Worse, we asked for extra soap from both our housekeeper and the front desk but got none2) There were no bath mats in the hotel3) Our toilet cycled (very loudly) every 65 seconds We were assured that maintenance would address it, but they did not4) The mini refrigerator is a nice touch, but ours clicked loudly every few minutesOverall a decent stay with several minor inconveniences which could have been dealt with, and which would have upgraded this from 3 to at least 4 (if not 5) stars

yo, its jo

I absolutely love staying at hotels I booked a room at a different hotel for my daughter’s 3rd birthday so she could go swimming in an indoor pool I came to Fairfield Inn after leaving the original hotel I booked at

They had the perfect room for me available & my daughter still was able to go swimming coming to Fairfield The breakfast is wonderful, and the rooms are so cozy The pool was perfect for my 3 year old & she’s had a blast! Thank you Fairfield for being affordable & for providing guests with wonderful amenities!! I will be back here!! ☺️

Christina Babcock

I usually only use Marriott hotels, but the rooms here were not to the usual standards We came in a night early, and we ended up renting a suite The toilet was still very dirty, and the sink had mold around the drain spout

The lights above the beds did not work, and the carpet had not been vacuumed, as there were chip crumbs in several areas, and I stepped on a bobby pin The next night, we were in a different room, and we couldn’t get the shower to turn on fully It was difficult to rinse off All of these issues were brought to the attention of the staff They just apologized I think I will be checking out other chains going forward

AMAZING! We had a family stay to visit relatives 2 day stay Incredible staff

The amenities in the room and within the hotel are great Pool, Breakfast, Cable TV, Coffee Maker, Refrigerator etcThe hotel and the rooms are kept very clean The staff is consistently making sure the COVID protocols are met If in and around the Wake Forest, NC we recommend Hampton Inn

Lyerly Dawg

Great service at breakfast from Ms Reece She juned around making sure everyone had what they need

Love the waffles both plain and blueberry The front desk was very efficient and gave me extra bottles of water and snacks Will book here again when in Wake Forest Just needs a renovation in the rooms No closet except behind a curtain Old style room

Lost My FlipFlops

Breakfast is great The rooms are small Staff is amazing

But the housekeeping is poor I have been staying here for 3 days now and no cleaning of the rooms, spoke with the front desk, were not sure if they can take care of the room due to 3 call outs Not happy with that Calling corporate to discussI went to the next step which was Email there complaint line This is what I stated:We were coming to Raleigh NC not for pleasure, we lost a family member suddenly The Hampton Inn was recommended to us and we booked a room for 3/16 to 3/22The reason for my complaint is, we had no housekeeping for the whole time we stayedAfter spending hours with your family, under these stressful conditions, which would be the viewing then the memorial service you look forward to just relaxing in a clean fresh room to gather your thought together and come to the realization that you will no longer will see this person againBUT no my requests have gone unheard I requested many times to have my room tided up but my request went upon deaf ears I would never ever spend my heard earned money in a dump such as the Hampton Inn and this is an embarrassment to the Hilton nameFunny thing is throughout the premises the door mat states “If you are not happy, We are not happy” what a lie Nothing was done I was even told by one of the desk women when I made my request, and she cringed her face saying well we do have 3 people who have called outAs a paying customer, 1-do not cringe your face when a customer has a request 2-we do not care how many people called out That should have Never been told to your Guest So this Hampton Inn has no Southern Hospitality that I hear North Carolina supposed to haveI will be letting everyone know my experience with the Wake Forest Hampton Inn in North CarolinaPlus I want someone to contact me in regard to my complaint

The Courtyard Triangle Town Center is the BEST hotel in Raleigh, hands downThey ever so graciously hosted my post-wedding reception this past weekend and made everything so incredibly easy, beautiful, and an absolute success I am no event planner by any means, so at points where I found myself freaking out over the details, Jack (sales) was there every step of the way

He was extra communicative, detail-oriented, and thought of things even we had forgotten to consider – everything you’d want in a sales coordinator Jewel and Brandi made the most amazing food, that made all of our guests (even the pickiest eaters) very, very happy The staff at the front desk during our event were patient, friendly, and incredibly accommodating as well – everything was simply perfectIf you’re looking for a place to do business, gather with family, or just stay overnight, look no further than here Worth absolutely every penny and you will not be disappointed!!!

Charlotte Beecher

Don’t stay here Prices are up Business is up…yet, They have stripped down amenities to the bare bones (1

one cup of in-room coffee and no complimentary coffee stand in the breakfast area, 2 Minuscule slivers of soap, 3 No complimentary breakfast or snacks…not even cookies Plus – it is noisy While we have been Marriott members for years, This is our last stay hereOn the positive side, it is clean and the oversized chair in the room is nice

Brandon Bowlin

Nice rooms No consistency in a restaurant or bar Obnoxious service

Over-charged for the value Was threatened by staff they would call police if I didn’t leave within the next hour when I had overslept I had paid and stayed for four days at that point They could have just asked if I wanted to stay another day and I would have paid I’m not the type of person that takes threats lightly, especially without asking appropriate customer service questions first I’ll never stay at another Marriott

The photos of this hotel’s rooms are better than the actual rooms There was a less than desirable odor in the room (we bought air freshener) and some of the towels had mascara stains on them So they could be washed better

Good thing I brought my own towels The restaurant and bar was great The customer service was pretty great Over all we had a great stay

Jushanna Goree

This hotel is wonderful It is located across from one of the Duke Medical Center locations The lobby is spacious and up to date

Check-in was quick and the staff were very helpful and efficient No complementary breakfast, but you could purchase breakfast in the lobby for $15 Snacks available for purchase at front desk (no vending machines) Bar with kitchen located in lobby as well Rooms had iron/ironing board/ hair dryer/ fridge/ microwave/ coffee maker Very comfortable beds We had a suite with a parlor room The park room had not been cleaned when we arrived, but was cleaned quickly after the front desk was alerted The parlor room had it’s own entrance with double doors The double doors had a 1/4-1/2 opening that we learned allowed hallway light to filter in and you can see through it Since it was after 11pm and just an overnight stay, we just draped a sheet over the door and did not alert the front desk

Lisa Williams

You have to PAY TO PARK!!! I’ve NEVER stayed anywhere that charges guests to park The hot tub is STILL closed Breakfast costs $16 a person

There’s no microwave in the room For a Hilton I am VERY disappointed I’d been better off keeping my La Quinta reservation I thought this would be a better place to stay Boy was I wrongThe ONLY good things were the bed is comfy and I could take my dog Which I could have done at other hotels Will NEVER stay here again, especially not for their current rates

Perfect? No But this staff is the best in the business Hot water and working shower fixtures would have made it perfect

But that is not on this staff, that’s on corporate This staff was amazing They took care of all my requests, through text checked on me and were the first to say hello when I went to the lobby I would definitely stay again and with the renovation the hotel might come up to the standards of your staff

Nice hotel Nothing stands out to make it great Breakfast buffet is likely the worst I’ve ever had at any hotel

This definitely needs to be addressed It was horribleLocation is great Rooms are clean Maintenance was lacking in the bathroom The toilet was the loudest I’ve ever heard Sounded like a small bomb exploding every time the toilet was flushed Quite disturbing

LeeAnna Hoit

Pros: convenient location, nice and updated rooms, beautiful viewsCons: only cable on tv, parking is a little annoying Small parking lot for hotel

If you’re not one of the lucky few you have to park a little far off in a general parking lotLove this place and will continue staying here for my business travel

The staff is extremely friendly, from the overnight front desk staff to the bartender Thank you so much for the great experience I’ve stayed at many Alofts, all over the US & this is by far THE BEST Aloft I’ve ever stayed at in my life, possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at; they make you feel like family! Alexis is extremely sweet Maria loves mine & my wife’s dogs

Dwight is honestly my hero, we had the best conversation and I truly appreciate him for all that he does! Robin, the bartender is I’ve ever had an experience with, and I have been to a lot of bars! Edie is amazing! Thank you all for everything you do!

Jenny Wright

We had a large group of 47 high school students plus chaperones, visiting Raleigh for the first time for a choral convention The Aloft is within walking distance of many dining options and has a little convenience store with snacks, drinks, and breakfast options The hotel staff was more than accommodating during our stay, keeping in close contact with our group and anticipating our needs – everything from extra towels to an impromptu birthday party for a member of our group

I highly recommend this hotel for your group needs They’ll take care of you!

Madison Hardin

This hotel is absolutely excellent I stay here quite frequently because I have a lot of friends who live in the area Robin and Cy are super friendly individuals who make me feel like I’m part of the aloft family every single time I visit

They refer to me by name without having to remind them The rooms are wonderful for the price and clean If you frequently visit downtown raleigh this is the place to be Even if you’re just visiting for a single time, the staff will make you feel like you’ve visited 100x Can’t recommend this hotel enough

10/10!! My boyfriend and I had the best experience here this weekend Very clean and the bed was so comfortable! Parking was confusing but the location of the hotel is amazing Walking distance from good food, bars, shops, and a Sunday morning farmers market! The staff is LOVELY! Monia and Kelsie were so sweet and hospitable and need a raise!! This is our new favorite hotel!

Maja Peklic

Very nice hotel in the heart of Raleigh North hillsIf you are staying on a lower floor of the hotel looking towards the busy street with bars and restaurants, there is a tendency that it could be a bit noisy in the room – especially on the weekendsThe service is really friendly and outgoing! The breakfast is delicious

One weakness is that there are not many gluten free options for breakfast – so if you are on a gluten free diet there won’t be many carb options (no gluten free bread, oats, cereals) for you for breakfast Nevertheless, fruits, cheese, meat and eggs are still a delicious option

Richard Benzinger

The place seems to be trying hard to keep things cheap, while disguising this fact as modern elegance and simplicity The room has an Ikea-like open coat rack rather than a closet And the bench/shelf/desk thing across from the bed looks like Motel 6 with some accent lights added

In fairness: it’s clean; it’s convenient; the desk clerks are friendly enough But I couldn’t begin to imagine anybody thinking of this place fondly

We are so glad we stayed here on our trip to Raleigh! We both enjoy experiences vs generic hotels and The Store has that in spadesJohn was very welcoming, had an extensive knowledge of Raleigh restaurants and history, and put up graciously with my questions about architecture and the building All of the spaces are beautiful

The room we stayed in was small, but well thought out and many amenities and toiletries were provided that exceeded my expectations The location was pretty much “5 minutes from everything” except for a couple of wedding events that were *gasp* 10 minutes drive awayWe would love to come back and just enjoy the space and Raleigh when we don’t have an event to attend Thanks John!

Nicole Snyder

My partner Kristofer and I had a truly wonderful stay at the Store while in Raleigh for the Tobacco Road Marathon The accommodations are beautiful, functional, clean, and cozy The Store is a beautifully designed building and we really loved all of the thoughtful design touches- John is an architect and his passion shows

I really can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our weekend in Raleigh and that was honestly due to John’s spot-on recommendations We dined at several chef-owned restaurants all of which were fantastic We enjoyed craft beer, wine, and coffee at recommended locations as well Seriously, there wasn’t a single miss The Store is well located – we were able to walk almost everyplace we visitedJohn is a warm and welcoming host who clearly cares about his guests We really appreciate everything that he did to make our stay as comfortable as possible and we’ve been telling all of our friends and family to make their way to the Store in Raleigh Go!

Vanessa Alexander

Staying at The Store is a must for anyone wanting a true historical neighborhood, delightful and informative host, and ideal location to surrounding Raleigh interests! Like it’s namesake, John Reese provided every detail that you could think of – down to mini makeup wipes, mouth wash, snacks, and community recommendations The space is meticulously clean and bright The beautiful open transformation of the historical store is both unique and modern

We enjoyed our stay here Liked the modern design of the property, plenty of areas to relax and enjoy outdoors Pretty good rooms, though wear and tear shows and the property could be cleaner overall

Though the restrooms in the lobby were spotless We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant on property, though I personally enjoyed breakfast more The staff did let us know in advance that the menu was limited and they were short staffed at dinner, but it was still a good experience, no significant delays or bad food We had burgers and tacos and wings as appetizer at dinner, loved the wings and burger, tacos could be better At breakfast we had pancakes, French toast, and corned beef hash, all were very good And Staff was very friendly

Maria Battista Hancock

The staff is friendly and helpfulThe ambiance is welcoming and relaxingConvenient location to NC State and Raleigh area!Close to public market -open 365 days a year🙌!Great trails for running/walking just outside by the lake!Delicious & healthy breakfast choices

We loved our stay at Stateview Hotel in Raleigh The staff & management team have done a tremendous job keeping services smooth even throughout the pandemic One of our TOP favorite place to stay for sure! Cheers to all the employees🥂👌 thanks for your care and attention to details!

Allison Wardenfelt

This is one of my top favorite Marriott hotels to stay at! I would come back to Raleigh just to stay a few nights at this hotel I love that it’s in the university campus! It’s surrounded by trees and nature which is so rare to find in a hotel these days! The lobby, patio, deck and pool area are simply amazing! So inviting to just hang around! They even offer free recreational games to play on their lawn! There is an ice and water machine in each hallway! This was a huge perk for us since we take our refillable water bottles everywhere! The hallways smell amazing because they have a diffuser running in each hallway as well The rooms were fantastic! They weren’t your standard boring hotel decor

Each room has wolf decor including the pillows and blanketsThis hotel does cater to alumni and parents of current students but I absolutely loved my stay here and would stay again whenever I am in Raleigh

Nice appointed, although somewhat worn, rooms Guest room air quality is compromised

In general, facilities were in pretty good shapeFront desk service was excellent, kind, eager to please, and prompt on Friday as well as Saturday NOT so much Sunday and Monday Actually, not at all on Sunday and MondayGreat central ideal location to enjoy the town on foot or by automobileParking was much better than expected!Coffee shop was EXCELLENT, kind, prompt, sweet, friendlyWe did not make it to the restaurant- as we had plenty of food at the 2022 Dreamville Festival

Travelicious Life (Sandra)

This Sheraton has surely seen better days and unfortunately basic cleanliness is not a priority Club level rooms have never bed/headboards and an eclectic mix of toiletries Lounge is very very basic, but the snacks are decent and staff is very kind, so if you are already here, I recommend upgrading

Poor soundproofing offers extra entertainment, however also poor sleep Not where I would stay again by choice

Ben Levenson

Hotel is in need of a refresh The facilities in general seem a little rundown at best and in some cases, just not that clean Housekeeping was very inconsistent

One day I received fresh towels and nothing else Another day my entire room was cleaned And on another day, the housekeepers failed to close my door properly — when I returned to my room at 5pm the door wasn’t latched and I could just push it open (The same thing happened to another guest on my floor) Fortunately nothing was missing from the roomI will avoid this place next time I’m in Raleigh

We took the train from Charlotte to Raleigh and the hotel is about a 15 min walk which was very convenient The front desk staff was professional, polite, and courteous We arrived an hour early and were able to check in immediately

The room was modern and stylish Big windows gave us a great view of city skyline and we were on second floor The bathroom had an amazing shower, the room was spacious, and bed was comfortable We were to extend our check out 1 hour the day of leaving which was an extremely awesome accommodation The hotel is in a great location to multiple restaurants and the Glenwood bar scene if you want to do some partying Would definitely stay here again

Paul Grassinger

Beautiful, spacious rooms in a great location Plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance There is also a rooftop bar but it closed somewhat early and we did not get a chance to check it out

Also, we had no issues with the service we received and overall had a wonderful experience The AC Hotel is exactly what you would expect from the Marriot brand

Robert Behrens

Nice place and rooms Great location near lots of cool bars/ restaurants, starting next door! Started getting hot my last night, even with no covers Had a late checkout and tried to sleep in this morning for road trip today to Myrtle Beach after wedding last night

Finally got up about 8 to check and found AC OFF and temp in room was 77! Was unable to turn it on Called and they said someone would be up Waited with door open to get some cool air from hall Finally 10 minutes later, it came back on so shut the door and got a little sleep before finally giving up and getting up

You know how some rooms can get too cold or the bed is too close to the A/C? Not the case here It cooled effectively and I stayed comfortable all night and also warmed up when I wanted it to be warmer during the day I had a top notch experience here

Nice hotel that has a small indoor pool Lots of seating in lobby and looked clean I’m giving 3 stars due to the sheets and blankets for pullout couch didn’t seem clean

The blanket had a set of eyelashes stuck to it and a dead ladybug When my husband went down to get a new blanket they gave him a duvet cover I thought it was a window curtain at first

Evelyn at the bar was absolutely a professional and very wonderful She treated each patron with respect and provided top notch service We will definitely be back to that property because of her

The property was very clean and laid out nicely It’s difficult to find good service with people who enjoy their job You can tell Evelyn truly enjoys what she is doing and I hope the leadership team recognizes her for her customer centric behaviors

Overall I wasn’t very satisfied with this hotel The rooms are very small and dimly lit The TVs reset their volume whenever you turn them on so they start blasting this loud music

My shower door wouldn’t close all the way so it kept getting water all over the bathroom floor They do not even serve a continental breakfast The hotel is in a good location right across the street from a nice mall However, they don’t even have a sidewalk leading from the hotel to the road, so I had to walk in the dirt 🙄

Smallest rooms I’ve ever seen in a Marriott, felt more like a holiday inn with better mattresses Cheap curtains that don’t open all the way, window doesn’t open at all, very little lighting options inside the room Overall this place needs some major adjustments when it comes to the rooms, not bad for a one or two night stay I guess

Only two towels placed in our room for a 5 night stay(there are two of us) and apparently you have to give 24hrs for cleaning services

The stay was everything you could ask for The room was spacious and clean The property had lots of places inside and out to just sit and relaxe

But what i was most expressed with was the gentleman that greeted me at the front desk His name was Boone He was extremely pleasant with a big smile He checked me in and called back down to order lunch as the restaurant was just opening and I couldn’t get them by phone I called the front desk and Boone took my order and walked it over to themI would definitely reccomend and visit againPlus you can walk right across the street to mall and great restaurants

fun time! beautiful hotel in a convenient location a bit much on the homeless side, but that’s expected in a downtown environment didn’t really interact with the staff much as you can do digital keys and self check ins

elevator scared me when my wife and I first got in because it stopped at level 5 before we had to swipe our key to continue up

A little difficult to get into the place and getting parked was a challenge But after that everything was wonderful Staff was excellent, friendly and very competent

Rooms very nice Location, once there, was great as you can walk safely to a lot of interesting sites, especially the state Capitol building Overall 4 star all the way

Stayed one night for after a date night with my husband Pretty pricey for the atmosphere of the hotel Mattress and pillows were really comfortable, however, the upkeep of the hotel and little things went unnoticed

The outside trash can stayed full from the time we checked in until the time we checked out I don’t mean full, I mean overflowing with trash on the ground The ice machine didn’t work on our floor so we had to go down a floor if we wanted ice Next to the ice machines on both the 2nd and 3rd floor, were bags of trash The mini fridge in the room was on the fritz, and was covered in ice They have dove products that you can pump out mounted to the wall, however there was no body wash, just an empty container It was mostly quiet, we heard a few dogs but nothing too loud to where you couldn’t sleep through the night Breakfast was better than I thought it would be, and the lady attending the breakfast bar was quite friendly It was a last minute stay, and we should have reserved a room elsewhere for the price, and next time we will Also the pool is closed

Staff was friendly & the room was clean However there were a few issues & inconveniencesThe phone in the room did not work so you have to leave the room and travel to the front desk whenever you had issues

We were told maintenance was gone for the day and would come the following day That never happenedNeither one of the beds had a comforter on them – just a thin sheet only We were told several people had allergies so they removed all of the comforters and made them available by request only We had to get dressed just to head down to the front desk after 9pm because the phone didn’t workThe TV remote did not work & guess how we had to notify the front desk…yep you’ve got it By getting dressed and walking downstairs The front desk clerk told us it was the sensor in front of the TV We adjusted, it did not work so we headed back down to see if we could get the remote replaced She said it works…you just have to stand directly in front of the TV Kinda negates the point of have a remote When we shared the power & volume buttons worked just not the channel buttons, she said maintenance was gone & would be up tomorrow That never happenedThe TV channels were limited to local and special cable channels No TNT, USA, Bravo, or anything more familiar Of course we had to stand and manually select the channels due to the remote issue We found one station that wasn’t too weird and kept the TV on that station for the remainder of the tripWe were only given two(2) total sets of towels for a multi night trip Thats one set per person The morning after the second night, one of us went down to request a fresh set of towels as they were heading out to their meeting & I was waiting to shower before logging into work & eventually leaving later that morning We were told the towels were on their way up It’s been over an hour & I’m still half dressed waiting to shower and start my day (now past 8am)Guess what I’ll need to do to notify the front desk? The bed was comfy, pillows were a variety of hard & soft based on preference, the water was hot, and the amenities were okay…but there were/are a lot of issues Enough for me to post & leave a rating Could have easily been a 5 star review if the issues were addressed

Decent place and clean Breakfast was plentiful and hot Dove soap and beauty products a plus

Most of the staff was friendly except the older woman at the front desk, she made it very clear that she was racist by all her comments she made The final comment was she told my grown so He better behave we don’t want any trouble in here Mind you my son is 6’5″, black and thin oh did I mention he’s 29 How is she going to say something like that especially when he was the person conducting the transaction We had to let her know we weren’t that type of family and she was out of place We had 2 rooms and had traveled all the way from upstate NY We asked for connecting rooms she said she didn’t have any Cool We took the room on the first floor , my sister asked about her room and where was it located The lady said well if you don’t want that room we can pit you on the forth floor, there are only 3 floors Ok enough about her The phone didn’t work and it was had to turn the ac down because the buttons were stuck on the window ac and the wall controls didn’t work Besides those incidents my stay was pleasant, it was the first impression at check in that ruined my review Would I stay here again I might and even recommend
