Drove here from out of state for a very overdue vacation Other hotel guests and their dogs weren’t my favorite but overall, I’m happy w our stay The hotel staff keep the review high

They were personable, kind, and easy to talk to They treated us like friends Breakfast was good and my kiddo loved the pool Overall, great 4-night stay

Dawn W

Checked in the day before to inform them of our arrival @ 6 PM Arrived to the room and found the room to not be fully ready Bathroom was not cleaned

Housekeeping showed up the day after to clean Rooms were very roomy Staff was friendly and accommodations were good However, if you plan on eating breakfast you have to be on their schedule They close when they feel like closing (not 10 AM) Overall they need to work on their cleaning and breakfast Beach was just over the bridge Dogs enjoyed their stay as well

Brandon Roberts

Let’s start with location first of all its located to many amazing restaurants and shopping but more importantly the BEACH The Service here is by far the best service we have ever had Grant has and continues to go above and beyond he is very thoughtful and helpful, Michelle also has helped us tremendously we couldn’t be happier staying here until we close on our home Everyone has been truly awesome

Very very very clean!

The worst hotel stay of my life I can not speak for all the rooms, but Do not stay in room 101 I was giving the run around switching my room for over 2 weeks( wait until Thursday then Sunday etc) and finally just swapped hotels

Was giving a handicap room that did not have a hangable shower head This obvious inconvenience was only the beginning of host of issues to include cleanliness, noise and fridge break that caused food spoilageBy far the biggest issue was the quality of Fresh air The room stunk and was clammy feeling and came down with a sickness shorty after the first night and every night afterThe front desk staff was helpful, but the general manager “sunny” appears to be the issueDo not accept rm 101

Joe Taylor

I was fortunate enough to pay 8 grand to keep my leftovers in the fridge Management refused to help, and front desk doesn’t understand what checking out means A/C was faulty for the first month and wasn’t allowed to switch rooms

Drunk sailors knock on the doors in the middle of the night about twice a week and I was basically told to get over it The pool was never cleaned, the gym is missing weights and doesn’t really get taken care of

I enjoyed my stay The hotel was easily accessible & easy to find My first impression of the lobby was that it was spacious, clean, and modern

The front desk associate was supper nice & helped me navigate to the beach! Our room was beautiful Loved the spacious bathroom, & large bed Plus the little welcome touch on the tv was nice! The only downside would be not having liners for the trashcan but that’s no biggie!

Bryan Pascua

For a Marriott brand hotel, I was overall disappointed Hotel is tired, needs some updating Stayed in Room 309, stains on the wall next to the front door, stained sofa, tub caulking job was terrible, loose toilet seat, and a less than productive flush

Stayed 2 nights, room was not serviced and complimentary coffee kits not refilled Did bring the toilet issue to the attention of the front desk, seat was tightened, but flushing wasn’t improved Bed was comfortable I’ve stayed at better 2 star hotels Rethinking my brand commitment after my last 2 Marriott stays

dani

Very good hotel! The rooms looked just like the pictures! Me and my family were happy for finally we have a good hotel! We were on the 4th floor, and I liked the view from the window I like how the room is BIG and has space There is a desk, even a COUCH! Wow! And in the bathroom, it was very clean and pretty

In the shower, it even had liquid soap and other stuff for you to wash with I definitely recommend this place if you are going with family I wish I could come back again here!! 😁

I had the fortune of staying here with my partner some years ago with this being my first Bed and Breakfast experience Upon arrival we found our room keys along with a note in the front door telling us to come in and make ourselves at home, the owner was out shopping for us and would be back shortly Coffee and cake we’re waiting which was fantastic and soon we were greeted and warmly welcomed by the owner who showed us around and told us the history of the house and told us to get whatever we wanted from the guest fridge

Our room was just as I was expecting and happy to see, beautiful and filled with antiques Breakfast was very good, freshly prepared and we eat with another couple and the owner Location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to downtown and it’s located in a safe feeling neighborhood We both loved our stay and the owner was simply delightful! I’ve never felt so welcomed and at home as I was here If we ever visit the area again rest assured we will definitely stay here

MalMaui

Super cute and fun building The proprietor met us at the door and gave us a tour of the home and maps of downtown sites! She asked what time we’d like breakfast and cook a lovely breakfast in the mornings for usDoors comes with a cute Victorian lock and key!The house is amazing

I use to volunteer an Antebellum home when I was younger and love the high ceilings and craftsmanship of the wood trimmings there and here Lovely!!!

Keith Raiche

We had only 3 weeks to plan this trip, and we could NOT have picked a better place to start It was very easy to find, and in the heart of the areaUpon our arrival, we are treated to wonderful decor

Coffee and pastries are available all day There is enough seating on the main floor for all the guest to enjoy the coffee, or just read from their large collection of book and magazinesOur room was FANTASTIC; beautifully decorated, charming, comfortable and quietWe were within walking distance of everything: historical landmarks, the fishing pier, shopping and restaurants The comfort level for walking the area was high: even at nightWe will highly recommend this place to ALL our friends and family Even people we just stop to talk to

Our family had a great stay here, we booked 2 rooms, one was wheelchair accessible Both very clean The front desk staff were great, easy to check in

Breakfast area was always clean and well stocked, the ladies working the breakfast area were very friendly The only suggestion I would make is to keep pool towels stocked, not many available

The Lokeys

This was our first visit to Pensacola to come to the beach here We were forced to stay a few days extra due to tornadoes and storms on our route home The staff here is excellent

The front desk rep Sara and the breakfast staff were amazing! So helpful and kind to our family Our children were able to sit in the common areas and do their homework with no problem The common areas are beautiful, large, and very clean The rooms are extremely clean and fresh with comfortable beds The breakfast in the morning is yummy with a lot of options We are very grateful for our stay here and the comfort and kindness we experienced We will return for sure!

After having a flight ruined/ cancelled by American airline which resulted in us scrambling to find an airport late at night, we quickly choose a Super 8 yo make sure all the hotels near by didn’t sell out It that said it was recently which is wasn’t Total false advertising

I got to the room and it smelled of mold which triggered a full blown panic attack We then walked across the street to try another hotel and it was sold out Rather than wait for an Uber to drive us 1 minute across the Hwy, we decided to walk The whole time muttering “this is such bull$#!+”We saw good reviews for this hotel and set our sights on it Carrying heavy luggage along side the Hwy until we finally arrived completely spent around 10pm The girl at the front desk was wonderful, she gave us some free water out of their little hotel shopping area and was able to give us a nice room I’m a breeze It was such a relief walking in the door of our room to a NICE place Built only in 2020 we could still smell the odor of brand new carpet, but everything was pristine The beds were super comfortable, we were able to login to our Netflix and relax with our favorite show The next morning the breakfast area was clean and comfortable It was so peaceful and the food was good! Plenty of options and the coffee was pretty decent which is saying something from someone who usually makes her own espresso every morning!Do your self a favor and stay here It was blissful

Hotel was very clean, probably one of the cleanest ones I’ve stayed at A staff member was always cleaning

good smell too Breakfast was just ok, could have had a better selection, especially adding bacon to the selection Got to have bacon!!!! Room was very clean and spacious Pool was awesome, only thing is, during our 4 day stay, never saw any maintenance person cleaning it?? We did report the numerous hornets nest in the pool area but was told hotel didn’t have any spray to kill them??? Supplier was out of stock So I took myself down the road to walmart and bought a can, came back and took care of those things!!! Hotel is close to everything you need, don’t have to travel far Overall, had a great stay and would stay there again!!

For the amount of staff on hand for services, they did an amazing job! Room was spotless and clean Bed was super comfortable and the ocean view from the bed was in perfect setting Food and food service was excellent

The evening bar staff 5 stars across the board! The girl that made our drinks was super knowledgeable and personable Her and the evening Chef made us feel like family That’s extremely rare now days Because of them we will be making Margaritaville Beach Hotels our new home away from home! Thanks guys!! 😊

The hotel is nice and the food and drinks are great We really enjoyed the location We didn’t watch much TV, but all they have is cable with no guide so finding something to watch was painful

We had to keep asking for clean towels Our room was cleaned one time during a stay of 8 days And finally, staff was driving a golf cart wide open in the parking deck For the price, we expected better and had better at other hotels close by

puddingg1 M Flegen

Beautiful suite with terrific ocean viewsOverall I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the hotel was It’s clearly the best in the Pensacola with great beach accessThe rooms was nicely appointed and had a huge bathroom with a separate tub and walk-in showerThe hotel staff was courteous and breakfast was goodIt is a shame that COVID has disrupted daily room cleaning and extras like room service but this is the case almost everywhere one stays

I would definitely stay at this hotel again If I had one critique for hotel management it’s that the hallways are starting to show their age and could use a fresh coat of paint

Liked the size of the condo and that is what on the beach , with a big pool But otherwise a bit disappointing The condo was not in good shape , walls all marked up dirty, appliances really old and gross

Carpet was disgusting, didn’t even have a broom to sweep floors For what we paid ( way too much ) you can go a lot of places and way nicer than this place

The best experience! The staff was more than friendly, they were welcoming in a way that made you feel like family The breakfast has plentiful offerings The facility is super clean

I noticed the staff cleaning and sanitizing the common areas regularly I’ve traveled to Pen often; yet, this was my first time staying at this hotel I’m a convert nowI’ll be booking there hence forward The cleanliness, location and amenities make this hotel a great choice; but, the customer service makes its superb! Btw, Vanessa in the cafe is the best!!!

Amy Renee Frazer

Literally the best hotel we’ve ever stayed and we have stayed at more expensive places The staff is SO VERY friendly and the service is top notch!! We stayed here for an entire week and literally do not have one single complaint The food was great and the food service ladies were so helpful and friendly

The front desk servers for so polite and friendly The kindest of all was a man there hanging wall paper struck up a conversation and when we said how nice our visit at the hotel was he attributed it the “Great General Manager” which says a lot! Oh yeah the beds were the most comfortable we’d ever slept in and the rooms were VERY clean and we got cleaning every day while we were there Thanks again to the staff for giving us a great stay!!

BLISS AERONAUTICS

PROS: The breakfast was fantastic for an “included” amenity They had a pancake machine, as well as sausage and biscuits Usually a “continental” breakfast is cereal and maybe a cold pastry

Not so with this place! The room was fairly comfortable The lobby was nice and had free popcorn and cookies The proximity to everything downtown was great!CONS: The sink stopper in the bathroom was stuck shut Maintenance responded fairly quickly, but then stayed in the room working on it for 30 minutes, even after I told them to just remove the stopper and don’t worry about making the stopper lever functional Also, the air conditioner sounded like an aircraft engine starting up Kept us from sleeping well at night, but it was a booked weekend and very busy As such, other rooms were not availableSomeone had left a bag of rotting trash in the overflow parking area and even after I told the front desk, no one ever cleaned it up This made every visit to the parking lot a challenge to avoid the smellOVERALL we still enjoyed the stay, especially since it was the Blue Angels weekend

I am extremely impressed with my stay here so far I had to stay here 20 nights for a school They were the first to accommodate my lengthy stay after calling about 15 hotels

Ryan is super gracious and energetic, and the breakfast staff is on point The breakfast is a big part of how positive my review is!!! Everyone here seems to really like working here and have good relationships with each other This hotel is extremely clean and has a great crew I will recommend this place to the next people at my work who have to travel

HUGE heads up to future Marriott guests:Due to covid, all Marriotts across the country and doing away with the fresh hot breakfast They’re switching to a grab and go prepackaged food/snack setup This is a huge disappointment to us considering this will be our home for the next 3 months and we were really counting on the hot breakfast every morning to save us a bit of money in our food expenses

This notice was told to us by the breakfast attendant at this location So if you’re expecting hot breakfast at any Marriott, consider staying elsewhereFor everything else: as I mentioned, this will be our home for the next 3 months and so far we are quite happy aside from the breakfast debacle The staff are very helpful and friendly Any time we need something, our requests are promptly fulfilled Beds are comfortable and the room was well presented upon our arrival Great location for our needs as well

Garrett Kephart

I am blown away by the staff and cleanliness of this hotel Residence Inn is always spotless and the house keeping do daily cleanings The hotel staff takes so much care in assisting its guests, anyone of them will stop what they were doing and help you immediately

They are pet friendly and allow pets to be in patio area if they are leashed Got to meet a lot of friendly cats in the windows and see a-lot of wagging tails They tend to keep animals on the first floor, incase you are allergic they will put you on the upper floors The rooms are amazing for a short stay or a long stay The swiveling TV that allows you to watch TV anywhere in the room is amazing! Their rooms have a-lot of countertop space and a very large desk that helps if you are planning on working remotely Hotel is military friendly and will match government hotel rate Big thank you to the staff for making our stay stress free and making our stay feel at home

Currently staying at the Hyatt Place as a Globalist and wanted to share about my experience hereThe hotel location is amazing right near the airport You can literally walk from the terminal to the hotel in about 5 minutes or less

I landed about 11:30 which is early for check in which only starts at 3 I figured I will try my luck to check in and unfortunately all rooms were still occupied or being cleaned As a globalist, they did offer me to take any single snack/food item and any single drink to have till my room is ready Room was ready about 1Was given a high floor room with views of the airport runway (at least half of one of them)Room is comfortable and service is friendly at the front deskBreakfast I wish was improved to include some vegan or vegetarian options This morning the only hot foods were bacon, eggs and toast So toast was the only option for someone who is vegetarianAll in all nice option for staying near the airport

Wollenczy Gentillon

Front desk manager was outstanding Very welcoming That’s where the positive ends for me

For a Hyatt brand and an airport hotel, I was expecting more My room was dated: TV not working (since I was on a business trip, didn’t bother me much); to close or open the room door was like lifting heavy weights at the gym; AC unit very noisy; a loud annoying dripping noise can keep you awake at night if you’re not a heavy sleeper; and some more details that I won’t bother mentioned Bottom line, this specific hotel will not be my first choice next time

Monster Review

2 stars ONLY because of the friendly staff Room was a disaster All the floor boards were caked with dust

Floor Corners of the room were also caked with dust Room had 2 hand towels but no bath towels Try drying yourself with a hand towel Not fun Extra pillow set in the closet for the pull out bed was missing sheets, blankets And pillow case Tried to call the front desk but the phone didn’t work Given the price we paid, we really expected a 5 star experience Bookingscom ratings seem to have given us a false perception of this hotel Ive had better rooms from motel 8 and best western Hyatt has always been my go to because of the discount I get from my job But even with the discount, it’s still pricey This ordeal has cause me to look elsewhere for a good room So far, I’ve been extremely impressed with Hyatt’s competitors

We stayed at Southern Grace at the Purple Parrot Accommodations were excellent It is a 1 bedroom very nicely decorated with southern charm

Very clean and comfortable It is the perfect place for a couple to get away from the crowds The porch was an added touch to enjoy the outdoors in the evenings The pool was nice and not crowded at all Thank you to the owners for such a beautiful stay

This was our first time staying here The 1 bedroom condo was very nice but a little small for a family of four Also, the floors must be very thin because the people above us we’re pretty noisy

Pool was pretty but not very clean If you come here make sure you get a 2 bedroom upstairs and make sure it’s not close the the bar, can get pretty loud at night

I have to say that we have been staying here for the past 12 years My husband and I met here while he was in the Navy We try to come for the 4th celebration every year

Unfortunately the condo (12AU) we got this time was a nightmare On day one we had to call about our air conditioning system going out, they fixed thatThe condo was dirty, with black mold penetrating though the bedroom and entire ventilation The bunk beds had bugs, so our kid had to sleep with us We paid Saturday to Saturday, but due to mold issue developed headaches and our daughter started vomiting We emailed them about the issue No response We packed our bags and checked into Perdido beach resort on Wednesday We went by to give them the keys and told them how unbearable and toxic that place was So far we were not offered any refund We will be submitting a complaint to a better business bureau, with pictures We paid for a week, but now have to be out another 500$ a night, so we have a safe place to sleep till Saturday We will never come back to that resort

We did not come to this area to stay on vacation, only for doctor’s appointment but we were very impressed The hotel is very clean and very orderly You can smell cleanliness when you walk through the doors of both the lobby and your room

The front lobby staff was very kind and accommodating, they told us everything there was to know about our stay at their hotel All of the linens and appliances were spotless, no doubt that these rooms were cleaned well

We made the unfortunate mistake of booking a room at the garden inn and suites in Pensacola

boy was that a huge mistake! Thankfully, we were able to get a refund and we came here This hotel is wonderful! Super clean room, they SMELL and look clean Comfy beds and pillows And, most importantly, I don’t feel like gonna be murdered here! Thank you, Holiday Inn (and Keith at the front desk) for making our night 10,000 times better!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing We booked last minute due to a reservation with a different chain being a very scary experience, from the time we arrived front desk receptionist was so welcoming and kind The hotel was very clean as was our room and bathrooms

The beds were comfortable for my taste Noise was never an issue I decided to get Hilton points in place of breakfast but we did enjoy some cocktails at the bar that evening The bar staff was so nice and even made our son feel welcomed in the restaurant area with a Shirley temple Thank you Hilton staff for making our quick weekend trip a great one

Great experience at the Hilton Garden Inn From the front desk to the clean rooms everything was perfect I stayed at another hotel in the area (that was the same price) not that long ago and the rooms were disgusting

Not the case here even though the cleaning crew wasshort staffed and they had to turn the whole hotel The front desk clerks were super help and cheerful I would definitely go back when I’m the the area again

Brian (BriGuy71)

The hotel location was great The check in was great I was there for 7 nights

My issues started with the AC For some reason the unit would not turn on unless I put it extremely low I was either very cold or very hot When I asked the front desk they simply came into the room and moved the thermostat down until it turned on Not really the solutionThe second issue is they informed me a couple days into my stay that the water was going to be turned off for a few hours to test the water sprinkler system My issue was it was off all day and I was working from the hotel room You don’t realize how much you need running water when you’re in the same space all day When I asked at 5:30 pm when it would be turned on the front desk said they weren’t sureMy third issue is a common one now I was told no room service for 7 days and let them know if I needed anything If you know someone is staying 7 nights and you’re not going to service the room why not put a few extra soaps I ran out on day 3 and had to go to the front desk for soap Hopefully once everything starts working again we can have daily room serviceThanks for the time and hope this review was helpful Only a few tweaks needing to be done to make this a 5 star stay I just wonder; do they really want to make this a 5 star stay? Hum…

The stay was good, but not quite what I was expecting I chose this hotel for a brief stay because it states it has a restaurant and a bar That’s not accurate

They have a Starbucks counter which includes options for eggs or french toast which they make on premises; but it’s only open in the mornings There isn’t actually a restaurant They have a few bottles of beer lined up on the Starbucks shelf, but unless you’re looking for a mid-morning beer, there isn’t a “bar” There isn’t even an afternoon coffee option, since the Starbucks closes after breakfastThe hotel was reasonably clean, staff were friendly Area seemed safeThey don’t tidy the room and make the beds during the stay, which may be a covid holdover

We had not planned on staying in Pensacola but got stuck in a dead stop on i10 for nearly 3 hours due to an accident on the freeway! Jake at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind! He also gave an excellent recommendation for dinner at Bubbas33 and a 10% coupon! Hotel was very clean and the room was wonderful! Got a great night’s sleep!
