We travel to Milwaukee often by car and have stayed here multiple times It’s always a nice place to arrive to after a long trip They’ve got a nice evening reception with free drinks and snacks and a good hot breakfast with made to order omelettes

The breakfast options have been more limited due to covid the last couple times we stayed, hopefully the breakfast is now back to normal! When traveling with kids it’s great to have that separate bedroom and living room with pull out couch The pool is also quite large and always kept warm enough for comfortable swimming even during the winter The only complaint I have is that the refrigerator is quite tiny for a suites hotel that serves people who often stay a week or more

Everything about the stay was as advertised Although the weather was severe, everyone at the hotel was friendly and pleasant Nikki at the front desk always had a smile on her face and a good word whenever we passed

She’s a gem and management should take note The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious We didn’t really have a chance to take advantage of the Happy Hour, but we appreciate the gesture Everything in the room worked like it was supposed to We just came back from Eqypt and you’d be surprised what is considered 5-star there Overall, it was one of my better hotel experiences And for those of you not familiar with Milwaukee, its freeway convenient and easy to get to many attractions from its location

Gorgeous GORGEOUS place to stay!!I only give 4 stars on location, because it was a little difficult to find Being from out of town and trying to figure out how to find the entrance for parking and the hotel, was a struggle even with Google mapsI want to give high praise to the staff, who were there around the clock all weekend!Everyone was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed!Loved our stay here, definitely going back! 😊

The employees at the hotel were all friendly and helpful from my first to last day That usually sets the tone for what I should expect from a business The area is in the reformed warehouse district

It is close enough by car to visit the Third Ward where most of the crowd was If you’re walking, plan a 15 minute trek The double queen room was spacious and the beds were comfy The decor fits the theme of the hotel The bathroom has an overhead rain shower I wish the detachable shower head had an adjustable feature instead of having to remove it for use There’s a restaurant with upscale food, casual bar and an outdoor eating space Room service was not offered when I visited I was disappointed this wasn’t mentioned on the website My theory is staffing shortages like most in the hospitality industry, but still a courtesy to inform guests would’ve been nice It was cool to see all the motorcycles out front from other guests Surprisingly it was limited noise and relatively quiet Lastly, the common areas of the hotel were cleaned and maintained

My husband and I got married on April 16, 2022 at The Ivy House in Walker’s Point We needed a hotel for the weekend, for ourselves and guests The Iron Horse was nearby our venue and exactly what we were looking for to fit the overall theme of our wedding

Our experience with them started out a bit rocky, but turned out to be amazing! We struggled with our back and forth communications with the first person in charge of our room block Halfway through, we were assigned someone else (Amanda) who was extremely helpful and easy to work withWe had quite a large block at the Iron Horse, and Amanda made us feel confident in our stay The Iron Horse definitely lives up to the hype! The beauty of this hotel is obvious the second you step inside the lobby The rooms are gorgeous, especially our suite with the incredible view! We enjoyed hanging out at the bar, and plenty of our guests ate breakfast at the restaurant in the lobby A lot of our guests were hesitant about staying here because of the price, but ultimately said it was worth it Everyone enjoyed their stay and had such positive remarks about the building, and staff Thank you for a lovely weekend, Iron Horse!

Amazing experience We’ve stayed at allot of hotels and this has been one of the coolest The location, downtown by the river, the decor was just super cool

Its motorcycle garage type themed The rooms were set up so well with a rain shower, minibar, fridge, microwave Service was on point also Valet service was nice, a bit humorous because the cars are parked 20 feet from the drop op point but room service for breakfast is great food, 5 star although it was crazy expensive 20 bucks a person atleastoh oh, I forgot the outdoor seating and lounge area We hung out there at night after the restaurant was closed Great spot to chill and talk Have a drink maybe ;)Overall we had a great time at the hotel, we will love going back

And they took care of our bags for free when we where at the farmers market in Milwaukee We needed help with the temperature in our room and they sent someone promptly This is a great place to stay when coming to Milwaukee especially for a bucks game, you can walk to the stadium from this hotel Overall this is a great place to stay

I had my wedding block here as well as a meet and greet the night before the wedding Colleen was easy to work with and helped me plan out appetizers and drinks for my guests She went above and beyond and even made personalized tickets for my guests as drink cards

She made sure to check in on me during the evening and make sure everything was running smoothlyWe were able to get a block of rooms, however they changed the block price earlier than agreed upon due to high demand for our weekendAt least two rooms (mine included) on the tenth floor were leaking rain from the ceiling The staff brought in towels but they stated they could not get a roofing company to fix it until this summer so they couldn’t do anything about it I believe something was done financially to make this rightOverall, good hotel for the price and I would recommend for events at the restaurant and bar

A great location in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, just a few blocks from Amtrak You’re paying for the location and service, it’s not the type of place where you would expect a low rate Restaurant had reasonable prices considering the location

A big thanks to Trent who helped solve an issue with dry cleaning and ensured I had my suit in time for a wedding The rooms are sufficient, though not huge, and the closet/bathroom layout was a bit cumbersome, but overall it was a great stay and location

Very pleased with our experience at the Pfizer The entire building had a vintage appeal with modern upgrades Dominic helped us at the front desk and was very kind

We even received a text from him later in the evening, asking if he could do anything to make our experience better He answered all of our questions regarding the pool and spa!We are at the Cafe in the morning and had the “Hungry Man” breakfast Delicious!The only thing I can think of that was slightly negative about our experience was that the bathtub wasn’t cleaned when we arrived, and when we ordered room service, the food was coldAlso (and not at any fault of the hotel), DON’T park in the parking lot across the street They’ll charge you a huge fee if you’re there over 24 hours You’re better off going with the hotel’s valet servicesDefinitely will be going again!

We just spent a short weekend away at the Pfister and could not have had a better time! It is a beautiful space, but what really took our experience over the top was the staffAlyson at the lobby bar was one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met – kind, organized, outgoing, friendly, and so thoughtful She took the time to talk with us about the hotel’s history and amazing artist in residence program, and the drinks were all fantastic! Despite a very full bar and the fact that she was churning out drinks for everyone she still took the time to chat with us – impressive multitasking! The second night we were there she was serving and noticed that we hadn’t yet found a seat – she remembered what we had ordered the night before and brought us our drinks before we even ordered, which we appreciated so much

We felt like we were at our neighborhood bar at home!Marco at the concierge desk was so lovely – he took our photos and even helped us pose 🙂 It was a great addition to our stayAlexa at the bar at Mason Street Grill was absolutely fantastic – she had a full bar and was so on top of each guest’s needs Her attitude was so positive and friendly! The food there was also incredible – the salmon dish is to die for and the filet was perfectly cookedI would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone – the comfortable rooms and beautiful ambiance are fantastic, and make sure you have at least a drink or two and a meal inside the hotel – the staff will blow your mind!

Do you want to feel like a Hollywood star, important individual or simple feel like when you walked in it matters that you chose to stay here Then, this hotel is a right place for you The atmosphere is friendly and kind as well as a little mysterious with all the decor and unique artwork

The front desk staff was beyond accommodating, professional and kind The bartender was super nice and even gave me a free soda since I wasn’t looking to get a drink i went up to front desk to exchange a $20 to tip him, and they did it without any problems I only wish I would take down their names The rooms are beautiful, place is gorgeous and wow wow wow their Christmas tree (I was there December 18-20) was spectacular Looking forward to staying here again soon! I was there for a business trip for a week As far as style it’s a very trendy and contemporary place The location isn’t bad either

I have two major complaints First, I reserved a handicap room with a seat in the shower After my morning shower, the floor was flooded everyday Enough not to be able to mop up with a towel Occasionally it would seep under the bathroom wall and into the main room by the door I went down to the front desk and spoke to whom I presume to be the manager He told me that there isn’t adequate pitch so it won’t drain properly I’m not hard to please since none of my property got wet but it does mean there will be long-term damage to their property as it leaks into their walls and carpet, which it did This will inevitably lead to a nasty mold problem and water damage is really expensive Actually, by the time I left, I think it smelled bad since the carpet by the door was routinely wet Since they don’t seem intent on fixing it, I think the public has the right to know before they reserve a room Management was very polite about it and even bought me breakfast one morning but that doesn’t change the fact that there’s a structural problem they haven’t addressed Second, this is the first hotel I’ve ever been to where there wasn’t a restaurant or continental breakfast It’s designed like a Starbucks “Grab and Go” but it’s not my cup of tea Would I stay again? It wasn’t a nightmare but if I had a choice, absolutely not Next time I’m just going to tell my employer to pick some place else

Well I’m not even 4 hours into it and they failed to mention that they are valet only, which is an additional charge of $20 daily or $30 over night (gotta love hidden fees!) Also I came with a three year old and based my hotel choice off of the travel wisconsins website seeing as this was “top 6 family friendly hotels in Milwaukee” but doesn’t care to explain that you have to reserve time frames to actually use their pool which of course lead my 3 year old to threw a massive tantrum in the lobby because it took me going all the way downstairs about to go to the pool for them to tell me I’m just hoping she stays awake to make it to this pool time seeing as that’s the whole reason I picked this place for the night & will not have the time too during the rest of my time here

I decided to take Memorial Day weekend for my family and me to explore Milwaukee While the arrival was very easy with digital check-in and the available staff, this was the easiest part of the tripDay 1 – we had no garbage can in the room

There was a dark red stain near the bed I assumed it was part of the design (it wasn’t) Later that evening as we pulled the sheets back, we realized that the red stain was seeping through from the mattress to the sheets and it looked like someone either spilled or ejected something onto the mattress and floor I mentioned it to the front desk and though they offered a different room if available-i decided to settle for the sheet change and clean up (I SHOULD HAVE MOVED)Day 2-After a great day exploring District 3 and the riverwalk-we settled in for the evening and ordered food from one of the nearby restaurants As we were in the room I noticed something n the sink basin ANTS There were several and as soon as I saw that I pulled our sheets back to discover a few on the mattress I called the front desk and was told that there was no one to address the situation but they would note it on the log????!!! Luckily I was able to dispose of the few visible ones but sleep was out of the questionCheckout-No note from the previous night When I informed the guest service person about the situation she stated “it makes sense, you are on a lower floor, so ants” WHAT??No manager contacted me There was no reaction The location is great My recommendationSTAY ELSEWHERE

The hotel itself is decent The aesthetics are cool however when you walk in it instantly reeks of high school boy locker room It’s as if someone was nervously trying to cover up body odor with the smell of cheap perfume

Pillows had coffee stains from previous stays And there were stains on the duvet Now as far as the front desk I can honestly say they’re just about useless I called down to the front desk to have paper and pen sent and received nothing And then when I extend my stay I am locked out of my room at six in the morning to only be told by Timothy the front desk boy that he can’t find my reservation and that he will not help me if I continue to be rude and that he is new I was however more than direct to what I needed to be done All in all this hotel fell extremely short for the price that was paid Oh and don’t even waste your time at the hotels restaurant You’re better off going to McDonald’s

Beautiful modern hotel with a comfortable bed and quiet room Decently priced for the area Overnight parking is charged $10 even though it’s in the same free lot as Cheesecake Factory

Cleaning service woke us up at 9AM, there wasn’t a do-not-disturb sign we could put on the door and wanted to sleep in There is a mini-fridge but no microwave There is soda, water and snacks for sale at the front desk but they are not refrigerated Overall, we would stay here again, just a few minor issues!

The pool table in the lobby was a fun addition to the experience Maybe the thermostat could have gone higher than 75f in the room but other than that everything was clean and perfect We had one issue where we requested a late checkout and the front desk gave us till 1pm at check in but the next day staff was knocking on our door They were very pleasant and accommodating when we told them about the late checkout requested we just wished the shift evening before had noted that so we didn’t have to go through the awkward encounter of having to explain why we were still in the room after 12pm Beyond that, highly recommend if you can afford(it’s not budget friendly) and will be in Milwaukee looking for a nice place to stay

Although my stays are comped, I do feel the rooms could be cleaner, vacuuming everywhere and shampooing the carpets more often would be welcome Sometimes the room was spotless but the tables were not wiped off The biggest issues for me is that it would be nice if they could monitor guest smoking marijuana in the rooms and hallways

Nope, all of our group (8 people) packed up & checked out Being in my 3rd trimester we were not going to risk having our brand new truck stolen or broken into!!! The front desk was unhelpful & cold when we asked about a refund for rooms we never even got to use We simply got a business card for the manager maybe with all this going on the manager should be there at night to help the staff very disappointed on how the situations were treated Especially for those that experienced it more than once! I didn’t even hear a simple “sorry” to anyone involved

I have been staying here on a regular basis for over a year, and while the hotel is nice, the neighborhood is not I have had not one, but two vehicles broken into and windows shattered this week, and this morning there was about 15 trucks broken into And despite being told by Milwaukee police they need to address their lack of security cameras in their parking lot, they refuse to do anything about it

I truly enjoy staying at this hotel Traveling with small children, the room sizes help make the stay more comfortable The location is great being right off the freeway, and it is super easy to get anywhere in the area

Clean hotel with modern decor The ladies at the front desk were all very friendly and helpful The lobby was full of activity at times with lots of people checking in but my room was very quiet and I was not disturbed by any surrounding guests through my two day stay

I would not normally pick Doubletree as a family hotel but in this case it was excellent We stayed on a Wednesday and had a great experience The desk staff was very friendly and accommodating to my young family

Gave the children cookies and warmly wished us a great stay The breakfast in the morning was limited but was delicious The kids had a great time in the pool, it is large and never gets above 3’6″ Most importantly the rooms were very clean I travel frequently and this is one of the cleanest rooms I have been in especially since there is a staffing shortage at the time I write this I cannot say enough about how well cared for this hotel is

This review is just for customer service, I haven’t even booked yet, the first time I called, I tried getting a connecting room with my sister, and the gentleman over the phone was super nice and helpful and I don’t remember his name, but was willing to help us get a connecting room My sister booked already and actually needed her suite, as I was told the suites don’t have a connecting room, which is totally fine Then I called back and I think it’s Greg or Craig, I apologize as I didn’t catch your name and I hope I’m close, but he is amazing! I just called him to see if he had any rooms next to my sisters suite as she was on the first floor, mind you I already booked through a 3rd party site just like my sister

I was thinking if I got a Suite, I would be next to her room, I wanted a room next to hers He said if I payed already, just keep my suite and he could put me just one floor above hers to keep us closer He also said if I wanted a room next to her suite he could book me in a double queen I had to give up my suite, but a double queen also works for my family and I I was able to cancel my booking I made online as he booked me over the phone right away for the double queen next to my sister’s suite, and sent me a confirmation right away!!!!! He is awesome, super informative and super helpful! Thank you! I’m excited for my stay and look forward to it!!!!! Lol my sister doesn’t even know I’m going to be her neighbor tomorrow, and that is so convenient and it will be nice for the kids as well!! Thank you so much for fast, informative and professional customer service! When booking into hotels that’s the first quality I look for, is the front desk/ customer service! I’m so happy and cannot wait for tomorrow!

Had to stay here for a baseball tournament we were playing in Rooms were ok, hot tub wasn’t working, in our room fee we paid for breakfast and got coupons and the lady that was working the breakfast area was very pushy about those coupons Breakfast price seems high for quality of food considering most hotels do similar for free

Also restaurant/bar in hotel was closed on a weekend Being from another state and staying for a tournament the convenience of having a restaurant on site was something we looked forward to but we had to go elsewhere Only stayed one night and left for a different hotel in area that was a little cheaper with better options

My room was cleaned ONCE during my whole 16 night stay, even though I asked for cleaning service 4 times Even when they cleaned my room, it was only partly cleaned

Front desk didn’t seem interested helping me with my problem Every time I asked for cleaning, they said they would do in the next day, but never did The only time my room was cleaned was when I personally asked the housekeeping staff to do it Would not recommend this hotel for long stays Some of the staff in the front desk was very blunt and not niceBesides that, food & service in the restaurant is really good

Hotel fitness room and pool area were nice ( didn’t get a chance to use them) The hotel and room was very outdated Our first day was busy so we didn’t have a chance to do anything in the hotel except for sleep

However, around 2 am I woke up itchy with bites on my arm Turn on the light to see multiple bedbugs crawling in the bed Safe to say second night was canceled and I was forced to find a room somewhere else since I was traveling with children They’re traumatized

I seldom write reviews but felt it was important to get this one out there regarding my stay last nightRooms are very outdated and my dinner in the restaurant was awful The bed was stiff as a board

The chicken breast on my sandwich was about as thick as a paper towel and the bun was not fresh When you think of a Hilton this is not up to Hilton standardsThe front desk gentleman was wonderful and so was my waitress in the restaurant

The service at Hotel Metro was 5 stars! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by valet to assist with our vehicle, then greeted by the front desk who recognized me as a Marriott member Thank you! We felt very welcomed in a beautiful lobby and was surprised by the size of our room! The room was very clean and the minor details for additional cleanliness did not go unnoticed (plastic on Kcups, sugar, glassware)! Even though it was a quick one night, it was a great stay Thank you Hotel Metro!

Had a few questions for staff and the response time for their chat was hours later Had called the morning of to see if we had to make reservations for the restaurant, stated we didn’t and failed to tell us it was closed for a event going on I’m there Wish they had said that in the morning

Room was really nice Just not somewhere I would go again on a budget A hotel with no pool, paid parking and no free breakfast just shouldn’t be that much money Plus I didn’t even think to look at the room amenities for a microwave in the room, I thought that was in all rooms for hotels It’s isn’t for here That was my fault for not reading what was offered Very clean hotel, large rooms So if you have money and don’t mind the extra amenities not being offered it’s a nice hotel

We were super disappointed with our stay, especially after reading all the reviews Perhaps they are struggling to find help like the rest of the hotel industry, but it was more like staying at a mom and pop hotel on the side of the highway than a high end luxury hotel The restaurant service was poor

The hotel needed a good once over Scuff marks and fingerprints on walls, doors and the elevator Everyone spoke about the incredible service – maybe we got the wrong crew for our short stay But when you pay $700 a night because it’s graduation weekend – and the entire city of Milwaukee is gouging you – you expect a little more than what they had to offer
