Very clean and friendly front desk staff I was in town for a funeral and the hotel staff was very accommodating when plans changed They have a hot breakfast which is included in the stay, very nice set up and plenty of seating

In the room there was a pull out bed with everything you needed ! They do allow dogs which i love even though I didn’t bring mine this time Would definitely revisit this hotel if needed

Beautiful hotel nice spacious rooms majority of the staff is pleasant and helpful, rooms kept clean , and the hotel is always quiet but be aware of the egotistical manager Travis who has no compassion and consideration of a miss understanding that could have been cleared in 2 seconds, but when certain people are put in a position of Power then they power trip A miss understanding of my kids charging ice cream to my room and my card not being billed because I had to cancel my cards because I lost my wallet resulted in Travis kicking me and my 5 year old daughter out and his exact words were “Things happen good luck”

I stayed here for a few weeks while I waited to close on my new home The closing process took much longer than expected The staff here, whom I got to know, were all SO helpful in extending my stay so I didn’t have to change rooms, breakfast buffet was delicious, room was cleaned each day, everyone was friendly and attentive, pool was warm, all the gym equipment worked

I can’t even believe how amazing this hotel is Pulled up in front and the guy is there with the luggage cart waiting Another person immediately takes an ice cream cake I’m holding and puts it in a freezer

Another person is waiting at the desk to check me in Get to the room the man that brought everything up to the room unloads everything and doesn’t leave until he makes sure everything is as expected I rented a regular room for one night my daughter and 3 friends and an joining one for me I asked if they could have a table set aside for my daughters birthday dinner They called me the day before I arrived to not only tell me they would have a special table but that they would make special menus with her name on it Went over all safe food because we had one child with allergies I can’t even tell you how many little things each person working here did to make our stay special because there were so many! For dinner They had a room to themselves with their own waitress, they decorated the table with different color napkins in each glass and a birthday sign This was all done as standard service, all I paid for was the rooms!The pool is amazing! The desk found out two of my daughters friend had to leave for a short time and they offered to keep the pool open later so they didn’t miss out on any pool timeI’ve never stayed at such an amazing hotel!

honestly at that rate don’t bother refunding money, id just take the loss My family got about as much sleep as we’d have gotten if we slept in a tent in the parking lot and it would have been a heck of a lot less expensive I’ll be staying at the Marriott down the road next time we’re in town Do not recommendPositives- sufficiently safe and no bedbugs Also the staff at breakfast was lovely and helpfulNegatives- sticky floor, dirty walls, hair all over the bathroom, no fresh towels, no working vending machines, but the best part was the fire alarm in our bedroom going off at 2am when we were sleeping After calling the front desk, who very nonchalantly told us to call back if it went over again (it did), we had to wait for someone to come upstairs to look at it Apparently there was a miscommunication between them and the front desk because the gentleman who came into our room spent a few moments trying to wrench the thermostat off the wall, leaving piles of wall on the floor before we pointed out the problem was with the fire alarm He removed it and told us they’d replace it the next morning They did not We had to call multiple times to have them send someone up with what I’d consider a basic safety requirementOther notes: everything is outdated, the walls are thin and you can hear everything

This is a fabulous hotel with very clean rooms and the most magnificent pool and hot tub! The staff was friendly and took care of all our needs right away and the food at the breakfast buffet was exceptional I highly recommend the omelet station and fresh baked croissants even the kids were raving about all the choices!!! Very spacious rooms and a gorgeous lobby bar with lounge seating all around was the icing on the cake!

The property is stunning It’s situated right on a quiet marina with great views and a gorgeous pool Very serene and peaceful both inside and out My room, which was Bay Shore, was big, bright, airy, well appointed and immaculate Absolutely the cleanest, most comfortable place I’ve ever stayed I was so comfortable It felt like I was staying at an old friends house I didn’t want to leave can’t wait to come back! We stayed at the Ocean Bay House mid December and had one of the best B&B experiences ever It’s a beautifully renovated Victorian House with all the amenities one could ask for The managers Liz and Jen were very professional

During our stay Liz was mainly there making sure our visit was perfect She prepared wonderful breakfasts and allowed us to use the common areas to meet with extended family members She was so hospitable, we could find no areas of improvement Thank you so much Liz!

Hyatt Regency Long Island made our one-night stay so incredibly special We brought out kid for a special celebration for graduating kindergarten I called ahead and asked the housekeeping manager to make the room special and he said he would make the room have towels folded into the shape of animals and he also made a special trip to get small balloons saying ‘happy graduation’ and a graduation card

The pools were great – indoor and outdoor The breakfast restaurant was very tasty and the service was very nice The dining room / bar restaurant upstairs was just fine for a quick bite – if you want something more private or intimate, look elsewhere for a romantic dinner because it was very much a hotel lobby restaurant as opposed to a restaurant that happened to be in the lobby of a hotel The room service we ordered arrived incredibly quickly though they were unable to make an espresso martini (we managed to survive) All around a very lovely stay

The check in went very smooth! The front desk has been very friendly and welcoming! Sabrina at the front desk made sure we were having a wonderful stay! It smells fresh and clean in the halls The room was very clean I love the amenities, specifically the gym and outdoor patio area with the fire place

I’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times including before, during and current covid times This and the building next door (courtyard) are some of the newer hotels around suffolk county If your traveling and not a local, there is a target down the road and walmart and supermarket a little further down

I’ve never had a problem with my rooms, always clean, ac or heat always worked, tv , shower everything was fine No mold no bugs none of that The staff has always been very nice The only issue this hotel has seems to be in the warmer months or near holidays (valentines/4th of july) people having hotel parties during one of my stays last year there was a pretty big party but the staff had them removed I stayed recently and there was not a peep! I would recommend, and will be staying again

The room was very spacious, I took a room with double beds for my kids and myself It was clean, I really love the individually wrapped cups and overall cleanliness even though I take wipes to do a once over as well Tiny fridge but enough room to store leftovers

This place was clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable and the towels were normal size (lol) The rooms were not brand new but the beds were very comfortable and the TV was a 55 in (I have stayed at a few lately with itty bitty TVs and terrible cable service) Everyone who works there that I spoke with was extremely professional and friendly

I would say the only part that was weird was the way they had breakfast for sale items set up in the pantry To that same note, the pantry area was stocked extremely well compared to many other Marriott courtyards that I have stayed at recently I will definitely stay here again

If you’re a history nerd, you will enjoy Oheka If you love architecture you will enjoy it as well The garden and ambience at night are quite enjoyable

The grounds are quiet and moonlit It’s full or classic art if you know your eras and enjoy classic paintings I would recommend the library nearby the dining hall and going during autumn Overall the kitchen was very well If you choose correctly on the menu They have gluten free bread and the wait staff is amazing My waitress made dining very enjoyable because she was so warm friendly and professional I appreciated that Note worthy would be the musician in the dining hall who was a violinist and would read the room to create a flow for the dinner He was impressive and lovely I would advise looking around as much as possible to breathe in the true history of the castle If staying on vacation, huntington village is nearby and also the gold coast

We weren’t able to get tickets to tour Oheka Castle so we decided to go for Sunday brunch The castle & grounds were beautiful, the brunch not so much I ordered steak (medium) & eggs

For some reason they couldn’t get the steak right First it was well, then it was rare but in addition, the steak itself was too tough to even cut I gave up & didn’t eat it (nor did they offer to comp it)The restaurant patio was beautiful & so were the gardens that were surrounded by a golf course I’d recommend the castle & gardens but not the restaurant

We stayed for three nights in early August We had room 12b, which had a balcony on the second floor, which was a nice feature The hosts (Brad and Jeff) were very nice, friendly and accommodating

Only a few blocks from the beach, restaurants, groceries, bike rental, ferry service Outdoor shower was great after a day at the beach Beach supplies were readily available (chairs, umbrellas, towels) The room was clean and well appointed for a short vacation like this for two people, with fridge and microwave, but no stove The microwave did short out the circuit breaker, we made Brad and Jeff aware and I’m sure they’ll address the issue Overall, very enjoyable and we’d stay there again

Brett and Jeffrey were amazing! From the moment we walked up that boardwalk onto that beautiful cozy, cheerful deck all decorated with Brett’s beautiful well taken care of annuals, which are everywhere! They took care of our every need , and with a smile might I add! The rooms have everything you need You won’t need to bring any beach supplies as they have chairs umbrellas and towels! The cocktail hour room was so hot the ice cubes were melting as much as we were Long lines to get a drink or food from the stations due to the inexperienced servers The ladies room was a disaster, despite the attendant to seems to enjoy talking to another staff person outside of the bathroom instead of being inside and ensuring the guests weren’t the ones cleaning the stallsThe food quality has drastically changedOnce upon a time this was the reception hall for your dream wedding or event I know many families who held numerous events throughout their lifetimes there – a tradition of quality which now ceases to existThe wedding was lovely solely due to the abundance of love and joy for the couple The brides impeccable taste in flowers and special touches were magnificent, the music was wonderful and everyone danced the night away – while at the same time dodges the waiters who cut through the center do the dance floor, dropping a trail of dishes and glasses Simply unacceptableThere are many facilities of superior quality now consider for upcoming events The Fox Hollow will certainly not gain any business from the guests attending this weddingWords of wisdom- ask questions and get everything in writing and have someone checking that evening if all is as promised Otherwise, you will be greatly disappointed

Lovely inn in Cold Spring Harbor We had 2 rooms, 1st and 3rd floors which were both very clean and comfortable Deidre was a very accommodating hostess who allowed us to bring our dinner back to the inn and eat in the sitting room

My wife and I needed a place for a short “stay-cation” about a month ago, and often have a difficult time finding a place knowledgeable and flexible enough for MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) Most places use industrial cleaners, standard detergents and “green” cleaning supplies, which can cause havoc on the chemically sensitive (many green cleaners are still highly toxic when exposed) Not only was Deirdre knowledgeable and well versed in many of our challenges, she took the time to listen to our list of requirements

Once she understood our needs, she went FAR above and beyond to make other comfortable arrangements for us that left us astoundedWe’ve been to other hotels, motels, and B&B’s, and very few came even close to taking the interest in our comfort and needs From the first moment Grace inquired about what products they use to clean the location and launder their linens, to the moment we left after almost a week at this historic home, we felt like family Deirdre is so gracious! She took every opportunity to ensure we were comfortable, and to really listen to all that was said as well as that which was not She doesn’t miss a thingI have been in the Hospitality industry for a long time, and I really appreciated the attention to details; the “going the extra mile” as we say in the biz Anticipating the needs of the guests is one of the specialties of Harbor Rose Beds were comfy, the view was amazing (stayed on the second floor with the balcony), and a cozy working fireplace! There were many amenities like the really great organic, gluten-free vegan breakfast bundles that were provided daily for all their guests, You could see and taste they were made with love The home baked breakfast breads were outstanding, the fruits and snacks on point, and the other included goodies were very thoughtful! The water was filtered in the entire home too! I can’t say enough great things about our experience We look forward to the next rendezvous Many blessings 🙏

Our two pugs were allowed to stay with us (for a fee) However, when you consider the costs of keeping a BnB as clean and immaculate as this one is, there are costs to maintain the building Deirdre is super flexible as far as hours to come and go and very accommodating to anything you might need Would definitely recommend and will stay here again

My husband and I stayed at the Marriott Melville before and after our wedding at Westbury Manor and absolutely loved it Around 60 of our guests also stayed at the hotel and they kindly put the rooms together that we requested The rooms were super clean and well presented and the spacious executive suite was great for getting ready for my wedding! We also enjoyed having a farewell breakfast for our guests in the pretty atrium with lots of natural light

Such a great spot! The rooms were immaculate and the staff was so great They were very pleasant to work with and flexible as well, we booked an additional room last minute for a friend to stay as well and they got his room ready very quickly They had bikes, beach towels, they let us store our luggage before check in and after check out which was so nice to be able to enjoy the rest of the day after check out and not have to drag our bags around

They even let us sign out bikes to use even though we were technically checked out as guests already, they still were super accommodating and very generous with the time they allowed us! Will definitely be back!

Great for a short stay in Fire Island It’s a hotel, so all the amenities you would expect, plus a small breakfast spread, champagne hour(s), water bottle, use of beach supplies, towels, bikes, etc It’s actually a collection of several properties (we stayed at Bayside, I believe, it was maybe a 4 minute walk from the main building)

At our room location, there was the shore side private sand beach and lounge, and bar service – which I didn’t get a chance to use The main building has the lounge and dining area The staff was super friendly and very helpful Other than a little issue with the door (which the front desk addressed), it was exactly what we neededA con to note as others have mentioned is that the room size is on the smaller side We were 2 adults and 2 kids in 2 double beds and it was just enough room for usWe stayed a Monday and Tuesday night, so can’t speak on the noise level (Monday had a few night revelers, but nobody else in my party noticed and Tuesday was very calm) The shared wall with our neighbor had the adjoining door, so it wasn’t very insulated, but they were very courteous (we tried to be as well) about noise levels before and after certain hours (we were both traveling with children)The area is right in the commercial district, so no shortage of restaurants, bars, stores, dessert shops also a playground and the ferry are less than 5 minutes away

Nice friendly staff but I wouldn’t recommend to be honest due to the size of the rooms!! My best mate booked the rooms with another friend of mine and his wife We had the impression that we were going to have some sort of shared suit you sometimes get where you have a communal area but separate rooms (en-suite bathrooms) We got two rooms with adjoining door which I can only describe as door which didn’t shut properly or lock! Room size I would guess as I’m 6ft1 as around 8ft by 10ft at best (you couldn’t swing a cat inside!!)

The bed was comfortable but the window opened to the outside communal area where everyone came to sit and chat (I loved listen to the two loud annoying ladies discussing their marital issues whilst their husbands where out fishing what a joy!!) The en-suit bathroom was in my friends room so as he was with his wife I gave them privacy and used the shower at the end of the hall along with toilet which wasn’t kept very clean as a lot of people were using it!! To top off the stay we had a fire alarm as some BRIGHT SPARK decided to light a cigarette in the non-smoking room (no apologies from the hotel staff about this which I thought was slightly lame!)Price!!!! OMG I found out late that my best mate had paid $1600 for 2 nights including taxes… not even worth half that amount I get was Fire Island but it wasn’t in the season quite yet However I guess it’s a captive market so these rates can be charged…

Decent hotel I was there for work travel Asked for a quiet room on a high floor away from elevator bank and ice machines

They put me on the top floor but on the side next to the busy street and athletic fields which were quite loud at night I was also put in a room that had potential to be an adjoining room and could really hear my “adjoining” neighbor So I would say only 50% of my request was fulfilled Food and bar were decent but limited Hotel was very busy on the weekend and definitely much more quiet on weekdays No hairdryer in my room Had to ask for one Other guests varied – business travel people, wedding guests, athletic teams, people attending court nearby I will probably stay here again for business travel, but now know what to expect

The coolest mermaid-y hotel rooms in the Islip/Patchogue area with great decor Very spacious Mostly nice front desk staff, but the fact that they made us hunt down the luggage cart ourselves by getting off the elevator on every floor and searching for it at 1am (after calling an hour earlier to ask if it could be available when we arrived) loses them a star

They told us no promises because someone else could be using it (fair), but they didn’t say they’d make us go find it ourselves if a rude guest just left it outside their room!

1) very strong smoke smell when I just opened the door But The room actually is non smoking room!2) duplicate charge for pet fee Called them asking for refund and they never pay me back!We booked 2 rooms for 2nights on November 2021

The policy says each pet is $25 per night We only have one dog stayed in one room so it’s $50, but they changed me extra $25 for no reason So I eventually paid $75 for pet fee I didn’t realized that until I saw the credit card statement Called them and the person said they can refund me on the credit card Now it is 7 months after, no one contact me and no refund to my accountThe nonsmoking room has super strong smoke smell and when I stepped in the window is opened ac is on fan is on It literally just like someone just smoked In the room one minute ago and left Front desk lady changed the room for me with no problem But I think it should not happened like this if it is NON SMOKING ROOM

This hotel is updated, beds are clean and comfortable, and front desk people are friendly BUT if you are handed a key to a ground floor room, REFUSE IT Our room had an overflowing humidifier and smelled musty, and our window faced the outdoor pool, with no privacy

Our children’s room across the hall was dark, blocked by shrubs next to the parking lot The pool crew was using a loud power washer on the deck while I was trying to rest before a wedding The front desk receptionist offered to try to get me a new room, but it was almost time to get ready so I refused Lesson to share: AVOID THE GROUND FLOOR ROOMS!
