Nice bed Very nice staff We booked three rooms and one of them -212 – had mold and a falling ceiling with water dripping in the bathroom

The other two rooms were OK All three rooms had a odor One smelled of smoke I agree with the other reviews that say the rooms could be cleaner In particular the walls in the bathroom and the doors need to be wiped down They’re making renovations and the work they are doing is good In general we had a good nights sleep

Unfortunately outlets stay was not like the reviews we read We personally would not come back Not worth the money at all

Room walls were all filthy Bathroom filthy and starting to fall apart Phone and tables dusty and dirty Same with fridge Bed sheets had holes and very worn Tv remote literally broken Breakfast was not as advertised Cereal, a few pieces of bread and some gross mini sandwiches in the fridge Nothing warm not even waffles or fruit Such a bummer for how much we paid Furniture was very scratched up in our room as well I have pictures Should have cost $30 not over $100 for the night

Bryttia Parker (BSnider2010)

We somehow got put as a smoking room, which I did not even know was a thing anymore I tried to talk to the front desk person to see if we could move rooms as I saw available rooms still online He refused to let us move

Our room smelled like weed I also had an serious ankle injury resulting in stairs being a challenge for me There are no elevators that we could find to get to the second level The stairs by our room were also rusted and falling apart The handle was also completely detached so I couldn’t hold on to that The pictures look NOTHING like what it actually looks like The hotel is incredibly ran down and not clean Our shower still had soaps and shampoos from the previous person The room was ran down and just did not appear clean We also found out on our second night that the location of this hotel has had a lot of issues lately Not everything was terrible though Beds were comfortable and appeared clean The gentleman who came through cleaning rooms was incredibly nice and always made sure we had what we needed We absolutely will not be returning to this location though

I left two bags there, and after a week of daily phone calls and completing an online form (on the day I checked out), I still don’t have any tracking numbers The general manager doesn’t keep normal business hours and several times when I called, there was no manager on duty No one is willing to take ownership of the problem

I called corporate and at least have a case number nowWe have been long-time, loyal customers at Fairfield and are reward members This has been the most disappointing visit This location rarely had clean towels, so it’s a good idea to bring your own and plan to do some laundry This is not commensurate with the cost of the stay The breakfast was poor in preparation compared to breakfasts in other locations The mattress was extremely hard This particular location does not measure up to the other locations we have visitedPositives? I will say that our room was clean The location is good Also, Shannon, at the front desk, has been kind That said, she has not been given any power to resolve the situation I appreciate that she seems to care The manager she transferred me to talked over me and was very unprofessional The management at this location is lacking and poor and they are in dire need of customer service training and protocolMy advice? Skip this location It’s not worth the headache or the money

Nice place clean rooms

sweet hotel staff good location only negative was I returned my dirty towels that morning and ask for clean ones so when we get in we can take showers was gone all day came in and no towels I called front desk and was told there was no towels in the whole building all was being used or been used I know it wasn’t the front desk fault I asked would he look in the pool area and he did find two in the weight room and he was very sweet about it No manager was there so I didn’t get to talk to anyone

Stayed in one of the suite roomed for 4 nights while in town visiting family Staff was very friendly helpful and accommodating, rooms were very clean and spacious… the rest of the hotel was very clean as well… Fitness center has some cardio adjustable benches and a decent selection of dumbells and there’s a nice little pool and sitting area outside…breakfast every morning was different and provided a lot to choose from… hotel surrounded by a ton of great places to eat…great place to stay!

NoHomeAddress (Melissa & Derek)

It was clean and roomy, like most Home2 are The check-in staff was very nice and they allowed us to park our truck with trailer in the parking lot instead of off-site The water was brown and there was a sign in the bathroom saying it was fine to use for all regular uses, including bathing (did not mention drinking)

We opted not toWe arrived at breakfast 30 minutes after it started and the biscuits were a few days old We asked for bowls and the food attendant seemed extremely bothered that we would ask for such a thing…I mean, they did offer cereal The oatmeal was extremely thick, like paste, likely also left over from the day before We tried to make waffles but the batter wouldn’t flow through the dispenser My daughter tried to make hot cocoa using the hot water, and it was ice cold Who knows when the last time it was changed It was also brown We understand the condition of the water isn’t necessarily under your control, but the quality of the food certainly is We pay for this breakfast within our hotel fees (even though it’s touted as free), take some pride in your hotel and offer people edible food instead of keeping it around for days until it’s gone Although we like staying in this area while traveling, because of a few local restaurants, we will try a different hotel next time

Home2 Suites by Hilton in West Monroe provides a wonderful atmosphere combined with top level service and accomodations The rooms are sleek, beautifully decorated, and pristine in cleanliness Having in-room features ranging from a fridge with a freezer, dishware, and a microwave to a large screen television, sofa, and a large soft bed made the room inviting and comfortable

The staff are kind, considerate, and willing to help you make your stay as enjoyable as possible There was always someone at the front desk to assist you, even late at night, and multiple staff during the busier times to help multiple guests Breakfast was easy to access and enjoy with a wide variety of hot and cold options located conveniently close to the lobby (which was also beautiful decorated and modern!) Overall our stay was wonderful and it was easier to relax knowing we would be coming back here after a day or activities I recommend it to any and all who want comfort, convenience, and wonderful hospitality

Traci Towslee

We booked this hotel last minute and arrived at 10:30pm The room was spotless! We had two small children with us so the small kitchen area was perfect for washing bottles and the room was plenty big enough for all 4 of us! The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast (with a few hot items) Everything was clean and at least 2-3 staff members were always there refilling food items, cleaning, etc

Thanks y’all We’d 100% stay here again if in the area!

Staff here is very welcoming The hotel itself is not bad but not what you expect from a Marriott It’s just a bit outdated

You can tell it’s an older building, inside and out There is also no outside sitting area that is normal at a Courtyard Even though the room was clean it was not spotless like a Marriott Courtyard normally is Had to do a small amount of cleaning in the shower area and take off the top stained bed skirt Also not sure why but the Bistro was only opened during breakfast or closed everything I checked to get some dinner during my 3 nights there The doors were very loud as well They do not soft close Every time someone near you enters a room you hear the door slam shut

Evelyn Moncada

For the 2 nights we stayed, I gave it a 4 star review due to not having a microwave in the room, no trash cans at all, no complementary breakfast, and every time we walked down to the lobby Starbucks was closed! Besides those 4 things our stay was GREAT! Room was smelling good, cleaning was 110% and quiet enough to get a good nights sleep and not one stench of cigarette smoke Microwaves are a must for my family, we travel for games and we always pack microwaveable foods/snacks Had some cranky kids when mac and cheese cups, pizza rolls, and breakfast sandwiches were not able to be made LOL!

Charles Logwood

I would be sure to NEVER stay at this establishment again I came in town on a busy weekend to bury my dad and every hotel in Monroe and West Monroe was booked except for this place which was last result Upon checking in, I found a black wallet on the floor beside the couch which shows just how well the room was cleaned

Later that night, I showered just to find out there was no hot water in the shower, only Luke warm, borderline cold!! Not to mention the AC felt like it needed coolant I didn’t complain that night because it was only two rooms when I checked in and I knew it wasn’t another room available However, I did mention it to the front desk on Sunday morning upon check out & was told that a manager would be in contact with me Wednesday came and I had yet to receive a call so I decided to call and leave another message with the front desk, this time at both hotels managed by MIKE I finally got a call from Mike regarding my stay and he was the most unprofessional human being I’ve ever spoken with I was told that front desk staff stated I was aggressive about my stay (which I wasn’t but had every right to be after such an uncomfortable stay) and that the room I stayed in haven’t had complaints before me and I probably just want my money back After telling him how unprofessional he was handling the situation and that I would be to be contacting corporate, I was told that he’ll call the police and make sure I never stay there again right before hanging up in my face If I could give 0 stars I would because this place doesn’t deserve even 1

Laura

I recently stayed here with my dog Jordan was the kind, friendly, and helpful lady who checked us in She was awesome! Upon entering the room it smelled fresh and clean and I didn’t see any evidence that it wasn’t clean

However, the rooms definitely need some maintenance It is evident they have done quick fixes for caulking, patching, and paint, and it just looks cheap It was unfortunate that there was no designated area for me to walk my dog or area where they had pet waste bags, but luckily I had my own The breakfast spread was quite large and very good Overall I had a great stay, but there definitely needs to be maintenance updates to the hotel

Tom Davenport

From the time we checked in until we left, we enjoyed our stay The entire facility was clean and comfortable Our room was no exception

The furnishings were good with ample space We liked the walking trail located across the parking lot from the hotel The breakfast consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, and gravy with waffles and cereal also being options I would definitely stay there again

Teresa Deedon

One night stay was okay but I do not recommend this property Location is good and building is the newer style LaQuinta but this hotel has been used hard and not maintained Elevator broke after we got upstairs and remained out of service for our stay

Carpet was dirty and badly snagged in several places Baseboard in bathroom was falling off and just laying in the floor Floor tiles in elevator were broken with pieces just laying there Overall cleanliness was fair Two stars for location and fair enough for an overnight

The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had Lots of yummy options We had 4 kids with us and they were all pleased

Amy was working the breakfast area and she was super nice and so hospitable She even brought some fresh bacon to our table directly Everyone should be so lucky to start their day with Amy and that awesome breakfast

Miss Perez

The staff was very kind, helpful and friendly! The breakfast was decent, the biscuits were the best item However, the hotel was a major disappointment and not at all like it’s pictured or portrayed in reviews The room was not thoroughly cleaned

There were dust balls on the carpet and hair everywhere! Hair on the toilet seat, hair in the tub and hair on the pillow cases Very disgusting The elevator didn’t work on the day we were checking out so we had to carry our infant and his stroller along with all of our bags down 3 flights of stairs

Sherri Seely

We stayed at this location on our way through town and had a great experience I have to recognize Kimberly and her amazing hospitality in the dining area! She asked how our stay was and confirmed if we needed anything extra to make our time there any more comfortable I greatly appreciate this level of customer service as she is a great asset to your location! Thank you!

The staff was super friendly, everything was very clean It’s across from the expo center The fitness center is small, but fully equipped

The pool looked clean and nice enough, though I was tired and just needed a bed They do have guest laundry, it’s coin operated, just to the left of the elevators If I’m back in the West Monroe area I will almost definitely stay here again

Lyn Milam

Location was convwnient to I-20, but room was hard used, and not too clean (See photo of duvet) Mattress was comfortable, but if possible, bring your own pillows The ones in room are over stuffed ,

real neck breakers They also have the softest water I have encountered in awhile, which leaves one still feeling kind of sticky, even after a shower

Edward Thomas

Too complicated to even book I tried calling around town for prices on a room Every other hotel answered the phone immediately and were able to quote a price instantly

When I called here I was first met with an answering machine and had to dail a bunch of numbers just to get to a live person Once this person was on the line I said the same thing that I had to the other hotels, “I need a price for a double queen room for tonight”The lady first started with “did you say a double king?” I replied with “do you have double kings?” She said noso why even ask if you don’t have it She then goes on to ask about 4 other irrelevant questions until I finally just said not to worry and hung up No wonder this hotel is on the verge of being shut down, no one is competent enough to even answer a sales question without playing 21 questions first I found a much better hotel without the hassle of this nonsense

We enjoyed our stay here It was quiet and comfortable Our room and the lobby were really clean

I loved the extra towels and the breakfast was great, with lots of extra things-chocolate chips and strawberry sauce for the waffles, cheese for the grits, among other things We were greeted with a warm welcome and friendly service at the front desk, I wish I could remember her name It’s very conveniently located next to the interstate, the mall, & lots of restaurants We would definitely stay again when we’re in town

Paula Ridley

Our room was kept clean upon arrival However Denise and Taryn accommodated us and cleaned our room Denise was very helpful and ended up getting us a full refund for our stay

She was kind and courteous Servant leadership is rare, however, she definitely has servant leadership qualities as she made sure we were taken care of first She should be considered a highly valuable employee of Hampton Inn on Frontage Rd in Monroe Thank you again so much

Ethan Feldman

Read wonderful reviews and coughed up the extra cash to stay here As soon as I walk into the room I notice this scene Fridge door is wide open, fridge is all mangled and now there’s an obstruction I can’t move

Fridge won’t budge and there’s a huge door ready to whack me every time I go by Wonderful Thank you so muchUpdate:Was then given a different room with a King Bed and an unusually uncomfortable pull out sofaI guess dishing out more money doesn’t really buy you any more comfort or a better experienceCalled customer service and their response was that I hadn’t checked in at check in time I had booked the reservation at 9PM and arrived at 10:30PM so no, I couldn’t really arrive at check in time Another kudos for Hilton on this one

I had the pleasure of staying at Best Western at the end of April 2022 The hotel is as pictured, beds are comfortable, and rooms are clean The cleaning staff was very polite and helpful in any and ever request

I recall one morning coming in and seeing the manager, Jason, on a tall ladder dusting the lights and chandeliers Everything about the stay was amazing, except for Daphne My aunt (who has had numerous knee surgeries) needed extra sheets She went to the front desk to obtain them, but Daphne would not unlock the door to grant access from the side Therefore my aunt had to walk around to the front Soon after, I discovered our room key did not work and had to go to the front desk I went to the same side door and knocked Daphne would not open the door and also required me to walk around She provided the blanket and reset my room key without saying a word to us I had to ask her to open the side door to let us out so my aunt did not have to walk back around The stay was amazing, except for Daphne

Jenny D

I an not a fan of hotels with exterior room doors, but the location and price was the reason I selected this hotel I was EXTREMELY pleased with our stay! Jason greeted us as soon as we walked in and was able to accommodate us even though we did not have a prior reservation and housekeeping staff was low The room was very clean and was fully stocked with the usual complementary shampoo, lotion, bar soap, coffee and fixings

Beds were comfortable, hot water was hot and AC was cold I want to absolutely give a shout out to the Front Office Manager Jason because we observed him performing a number of extra duties including cleaning and painting the pool area (evidently maintenance workers are in shortage also) Would definitely stay there again!

Logan Jones

Stayed here as a last resort Stayed in room 126 on the 3rd of June and fly home that same day I was only there for a few ours until I my flight that morning

I get home and today find bedbugs in my luggage I’ve stayed in literally 100s of hotels in my life and not once have I gotten bed bugs except the one time I had to stay in this dump

I’m only giving this a 3 because of a few things The staff downstairs is awesome in trying their best to accommodate the guests What I have an issue with is the level of cleanliness here

We had to change both bedding’s, we also found a prior guest sock that was left The bathroom had something splattered on the bottom that looked like vomit or food The breakfast was ok Until improvements are made, the price should be lowered at least by $50 The “name” is why the price is this way it is, and probably to get as many guest as possible I’ve stayed at less expensive hotels and had a better experience I honestly didn’t like having to clean my room as if I’m house keeping myself Let’s do better!!!!

I wish there was an option to leave zero stars The hotel itself is older but decent It is just not ran well

Me and my mother split the room charge Both of us were charged $75 At 4:30 in the morning my moms card was automatically charged again The staff finally did look up and see we were overcharged but they could not refund it They said they would email the manager, but they didn’t seem confident she would be responding any time soon because she hadn’t responded to their other emails about the police showing up or problems with rooms The assistant manager was also unavailable Customer care can not help because the properties are independently owned and operated They can not provide a name for the owner Rooms are not kept stocked The staff was sitting behind the desk eating Chick-fil-A while the breakfast bar went unattended There was enough eggs for one guest, 2 sausage patties, one bagel, 3 pieces of toast and an empty refrigerator section this is what was out at 7:00 Breakfast had only opened up at 6:30 I would have filed a complaint with the BBB, but they are not accredited I’m not too picky I don’t care that the rooms had popcorn ceilings or that the gym was wrapped in plastic like it was abandoned 20 years ago But, basic customer service is lacking There is no one who seems to care or even be held accountable I have no doubt the overcharge will eventually be refunded Someone said they would sleep in their car before they stayed here again I second that

A great place if you want to set a romantic mood Wingate is located next to the movie theater Tinseltown and a plethora of other amenities Receptionist was polite and professional

The room was clean and the A/C worked properly For some reason you had to bring your own body wash because there was only shampoo in the bathroom Besides that everything else was fine

THE ATLANTA DRONE

We arrived at the hotel on a Sat evening No parking at all because a baseball team was staying at the hotelCheck in was easy

Price was okay, but the room smelt very musty and the green bedspread just made me sick to my stomachI did bring my own pillow and blanket along with a set of sheetsIt was so late we slept I’m the morning we got up took a shower and left Now the part that really discussed me was the water would not drain As the waterwas rising I noticed the color and it was so gross my husband said let’s get out of here and call the city The hotel acted like that was normal We were disgusted I have a picture but it will not let me add it Seriously Brown, Brown water

BUGS/MOLD/THROW UP STAIN ON MATTRESS AND MORE!If I could give zero stars I would We were taken to a room without working plumbingThe beds were vaguely stated as double when booked and they were full size beds not queen which did not fit our family

We called and stated we needed to move rooms because of the non working plumbing The girl who checked us in stated she had a “suite” I asked for the complimentary infant sleeper When we went to exchange the room key I was brought the dirtiest pack in play I have ever seen Her black pants were completely gray from carrying it with all of the dust Dusting off her pants she said “I’m sorry we don’t use these a lot…people normally bring their own” We proceeded to the suite without said pack n play We walked in to an odd smell I went to pull out the couch into the extra bed that made this room a suite and noticed MOLD which brought a hyper-vigilant sense of awareness where I looked at the king mattress and saw the throw up stain, the bug in the shower, some what looks like calcium build up around the fridge, holes in the mattress, ratty blanket, something sticky all of the headboard We were inconvenienced after a long day of driving to scramble to find a hotel with small children The girl handling the affair apologized stating house keeping had gotten lazy

I stayed for a week but I was honestly ready to leave after the first night I checked in Monday everything was fine and then I left Tuesday morning came back around lunch time after my room had been cleaned or what they would call clean and everything I had in my fridge was gone I called the front desk and so she called the housekeeping supervisor then the housekeeping supervisor called the woman that cleaned my room but everybody “didn’t see anything” so I asked to speak with the manager who had terrible body language and a bad attitude

To sum up this story my food was stolen and they didn’t reimburse me for it or even get to the bottom of what really happened Don’t stay here if you want quality service and stay
