Beautiful property with a clean, updated feeling Check-in was quick and easy, staff was friendly This location has a larger than usual fitness facility, lobby area, pool/hot tub and probably the best hotel continental breakfast I have had

The room was nice and spacious and also clean Only a 4-star because the door to my room had definite evidence of damage to the door on the door jam (room 130) This prevented me from being able to use the deadbolt Had I been with my family instead of a business trip, I most likely would have requested a room change Guest safety should always be top priority imo I kept the room and created my own fix, see pics lol This probably won’t be the case for just about every other room I’m sure Great restaurant and shopping options all within a mile

Even with the power going out on us for 1 out of 2 days this was the best and nicest place we have stayed Extremely nice and courteous staff and really clean The mini apartment we had was so nice and COMPLEMENTARY BREAKFAST! I’ve stayed in so many hotels in salt lake and Utah county and this one is way better

Whatever you do never go to the grand America in salt lAke worst 1500 presidential suite we ever spent This place wasn’t even a fraction of that and was wayyyy better

Raven Carlson

It’s nice until you check out and get your incidental’s 261 dollars for logging on to the internet not to mention my car was broken into while I was there and my phone, my prescription glasses, my vapor and much more was stolen I had a lot of stuff in my vehicle because my house had caught fire hence the reason I was even staying there

They didn’t even try to work with me on the bill So I will never stay there again

The room reeked of old stale cigarettes Bed was very hard and uncomfortable But, everything was clean

Only provided 2 towels I had to ask for more Windows were very dirtyTypical breakfast We used the laundry facilities, and the washers and dryers worked well It’s not a bad place, but lots of room for improvement

Daniel Cerecedas

Location was the best everything was within 10 minutes from us Some places within walking distance The old guy at the breakfast area was awesome and very helpful

Only thing that we didn’t like was that the hot tub was out of service and we were really looking forward to that in the other hand the water for the pool was warm I wish all hotels had it like that Will definitely be staying here next time we are in town

Kimberly Noel

What I love about Hampton Inn and Suites im Jordan Landing is the rooms are huge I stayed in a king suite with my baby and it was just what we needed Kitchen to wash bottles with lots of counter space, fridge, and microwave if needed

The bed was great, and the bathroom had a bathtub which was amazing with a baby Then I ended up checking out a day earlier and figured I wouldn’t get a refund so I didn’t bother asking The receptionist asked her manager without me knowing and didn’t charge me for the extra night It was such a surprise and so nice of them I definitely will be back The breakfast was nice as well with such nice people making sure everything was stocked and great for the guests Such a nice stay, nice people, and so convenient, I definitely will come back Thanks!!

Very limited parking space, I had to park in the back of the hotel with no sideways that lend towards the front of the building Unsafe during the dark in my opinion Checked into my first room with the temperature almost at 80°F and called front desk, she was pretty short with me saying to give it a couple of minutes but since I walked into the room with the AC turned on but still at 80°, it obviously wasn’t working

Arranged for another room, same situation Come to find out, front desk finally said there was a problem with the AC earlier, so maybe the problem wasn’t solved or they should have double checked if the AC was working properly Third time was the charm for the AC but the room is dirty and smells horrid, I had to spray my hairspray to mask the smell The toilet wasn’t cleaned thoroughly either Cleanliness should be a priority Marriott bonvoy is about to lose a customer for good

VERY DISAPPOINTED!My wife and I booked a room here, and ended up having to reschedule due to Covid We called a few days in advance to see about rescheduling our stay We were told by the manager, this wouldn’t be a problem

We were transferred several times to a department that was supposed to help, only to find out they couldn’t help with this only the manager could We continued this process several times, and got no where We called in again a day later, and received fantastic customer service from Jessica She empathized with the situation, and said her managers would definitely be able to help She told us to expect a call on Monday from the managers We never received a call back We waited a week and didn’t hear anything back We called again a week later, and spoke to Alexis She was great at listening, but let us know she would need to speak to the manager The manager, Jason, said there was nothing he could do, and we would not be able to get a refund, credit, or anything even after we were told this could be done I asked if I could speak with the manager Jason to explain the situation to him, and was told that he was not available This was poor customer service on Jason’s part, as we received no explanations on why nothing could be done, after we were told multiple times we would be helped We hope this review is read, and fixed for future incidents that are similarFeel free to reach out for any additional details

The hotel room was very dark and outdated The bathtub dripped all night I had to hit the up button on the thermostat about 10 times just to get it up one degree

Limited parking unless you want to park in the upper lot and walk a mile to the elevator Also, they did not allow late check out due to having “full compacity”, which I have never had this issue with Marriott before I stay at Marriott’s 2-3 days each week and I come to the Murray area frequently and I thought the hotel looked nice from the outside so gave it a try I am very disappointed and will start staying further from my work location to have a better experience Think twice before booking here

We are in town for a wedding This hotel is in a great safe location, with numerous restaurants and stores in walking distance Rooms are clean, beds comfortable

Special thank you to Spencer Empey (GM) and his team We had a special request to have joining rooms and they went out of their way researching the possibilities and keeping is in touch of our room change request They were able to accommodate us and made our first trip to Utah a great experience Thank you! We will definitely stay here on a future visit and highly recommend this hotel

C Reese Nebeker

Easy walking distance to several restaurants, fast & short order, but nothing fancy Then stroll to Costco, Best Buy, a huge park, (NOT Central Park, NY huge) specialty bike shops, second hand/thrift, musical instruments, a hospital, as well as a bus & light rail hub That can take you up the Rocky Mountains to ski resorts, up & down the Wasatch Front through the majority of Utah’s metropolitan areas, & to the International Airport, all for less than it costs to grab a bite to eat

Heated pool, hot tub, gym, on site laundry, and complimentary breakfast help friendly staff make your stay comfortable

Savannah Dela Cruz

Shout out to the breakfast lady Kiana this morning! She was so attentive to the guest this morning, organized and clean with everything Even though she was busy, she made time to have short conversations with my family and guest Hotels definitely need more people like her

She is what you call a ray of sunshine ☀️ Best breakfast host by far!

We were in Salt Lake last week for my daughter’s volleyball tournament We were pleasantly surprised with both our hotel and the wonderful people working there Cold weather during spring break was not something we we’re looking forward to but our experience at SpringHill Suites West Valley was relaxing

Miguel, the general manager is a great person The ladies at the front desk always greeted us with a smile Our room was spacious and clean The workout facility was clean and adequate Breakfast was perfect for a family on the go early in the morning The location is a fairly short drive to the downtown convention center My wife and I enjoyed a few drinks across the parking lot at Pins and Brews Red Robin, Starbucks, In and Out Burger, and a DQ in the mall…we enjoyed our stay in SLC and our home base, SpringHill Suites

Jerry Zhong

Overall a solid night stay, and location is very convenient However, the breakfast was slightly disappointing: lacking a bit of varieties compared to other marriotts we’ve stayed at Also, if you arrive in an EV and is planning to use the charger at the hotel, take it with a grain of salt since both the plugs were out and I had to go to downtown to top up

Markia Lewis

We stayed here on business and we really enjoyed our stayThe staff was friendly and accommodating; they called me when my Amazon package arrived and placed us in a non pet room since I’m allergic to pet dander They provided clean extra towels, without a wait

The hotel is directly across from the mall that has one of the best movie theatres on town! We selected lounge seating and the theatre also had excellent surround sound There are also a lot of resturants within walking distance; and a bowling alley that has a full rssturant and bar, axe throwing, pool table, video games and billardsThe room was super clean!***My only major complaint, the hotel needs to offer decaf coffee This is the only Marriott hotel that I’ve stayed at, who didn’t offer decaf coffee You should offer a decaf option

If you plan on staying more than a few days, be prepared Getting things like towels, toilet paper, coffee, etc, is quite difficult You get a lot of pushback from the front desk and hand ringing when it is not done

Also, I stayed in one room on one side of the bed After nearly 2 weeks, I pulled back the other side of the bed and found a quarter size blood stain on the sheets I was given another room and told the manager would contact me, which never happened The room itself is very nice, as are the amenities The gym is top-notch and the wet area is above average The elevator buttons are tricky and the common areas that include hand sanitizer, soap, paper towels are often empty Just about every day, there was trash or crumbs in most of the common areas Lastly, the “bistro” is useless They are always out of anything other than pastries and overpriced and burnt coffee The location is superior and salt lake City is an incredibly clean and well thought out city As for this hotel, you could certainly do worse but could certainly do better Two out of five stars This could easily be a 5 out of 5 hotel with better staff and management

Tammie Madsen

The hotel was clean and pretty however there is no parking for the hotel so you have to pay an additional $20 per vehicle for the public parking Additionally, the “free” breakfast is cereal Nothing else

You have to pay for the milk for the cereal They do have fruit and muffins at an additional fee but they claim to have a free continental breakfast which is boxed cereal We came over the weekend with kiddos and got 2 rooms which were well over $500 per night and were hit with additional charges for basic hotel parking and a measly breakfast Hyatt House is right next door and we think the better, cheaper option

Heidi Zarda

I stayed at this courtyard a week ago and had an issue and still haven’t heard from a manager I didn’t realize til the next morning of my stay that the shower had not been cleaned, complete with a lot of hair and a used hand towel There was also dried lotion on the sink, which made me wonder if that had not been cleaned either

I told the front desk when I checked out and showed her pictures and I asked her to tell the manager, he was not in at the time 3 days after with not hearing from management, I called and left a voicemail It’s been 6 days without any contact from management to try and rectify this situation Accidents happen, but I’m more disappointed that management doesn’t care enough to reach out to a customer to rectify a poor experience I travel to SLC often for work and I will be choosing a different hotel from now on

I’ve only stayed at this hotel when I traveled to Salt Lake City It’s located right across the street from the convention center and a short walk from a bunch of restaurants The other added bonus is that it is connected to the City Creek Mall

The staff here is extremely friendly and very helpful The rooms themselves are pretty nice The shower looks like it was updated since the last time I was there Amenities are great and you also get a mini fridge in your room The wait for elevators isn’t too bad, even when it seems like the hotel is that capacity They have pretty good size tables in a lobby so you can eat a meal down there if you would likeThey also have Starbucks on site, with mobile ordering so it’s great to just order your coffee and take an elevator ride down to pick it upOverall a great hotel that is located pretty centrally from everything!

Tyler Southard

This hotel is in a perfect location Once you arrive, you have two options for parking on the premises: valet or the parking garage I chose the parking garage and it was $20 for 24 hours

The check in process was very prompt and I was in my room with the city view in no time The room is a bit tight, but once you get settled in you will be comfortable The beds were very comfortable along with a wonderful set of pillows The bathroom was also a bit cramped Everything in the room was spotless! Overall, the stay was very pleasant

Max Alexander

Bottom line: Platinum, Titanium, Ambassador Members beware if you have long standard amenity expectations The lounge remains closed, no real reason for that, at this point except they are being cheap Also hotel management has just recently removed hot breakfast as a standard amenity, I hope you like a bowl of cold cereal or other starches you can have that for free with your “Continental Breakfast”

If you want a single slice of bacon or basically anything hot, it is an extra $7 per person None of the staff I spoke with support the policy and I would say the staff were absolutely great The room was clean, the bed was comfortable , and the view was great Parking is $20 no matter what your status is So, for those of you who care about long standard amenities which you have come to expect, carefully evaluate your choices when booking this hotel in Salt Lake, there are lots of other places just around the block I’ll be back when management gets their stuff together Again the rest of the staff was absolutely great

Our room wasn’t really clean I found dog hair under my pillow in the middle of the night The bathroom had the smell of hint of puke when steamy

The pool area and work out rooms were also used during our stay They were in good repairThe Steakhouse Spencer’s Steaks and Chops, is worth the visit Great food and serviceThe doorman was great The woman checking us in acted like she had better things to do and didn’t want to take the time to address the issue with the hotel credit that we had The hotel management that I was told to call and leave a massage with never returned my callIts down town and close to things That being said there is a lot of crime down town and the area is not safeWe visit the area 2 to 4 times per year The Hilton does fine without our business and can continue to do well without our presence We will not return

Nik Rama

I’m really impressed with the customer service and amenities of this hotelA few friends and I stayed here a couple nights to be close to the downtown area It is really easy to get around from this location and is within walking distances to many restaurants and bars

The hotel itself is really nice with a couple of restaurants and a Starbucks within it There’s even a rental car center within the hotel for those who need to rent cars There is a parking garage beneath the hotel with its own separate elevators Four elevators operate all of the floors of the building which is a teen stories high When we checked in, we were graciously given a complementary upgrade to a larger room on the top floor with a fantastic view of the mountains One issue is that the hallway outside our room is extremely warm in temperature The rooms themselves have no issues temperature wiseThere is a massive and well-kept indoor pool on the second floor of this hotel The fitness center is split into two sections, one for cardio and one for weights, and these rooms are also located inside the pool areaThe parking garage below the hotel is really easy to get in and out of, however, finding spots is extremely tough as massive pillars in the garage block many parking spaces from being accessibleOverall, this is a great hotel if you’re looking for a good location in the city

Acer

Fairly standard hotel that seemed relatively clean However, the hotel is beginning to show it’s age The bathroom ceiling is beginning to crumble due to years of humidity (no vent fan in the bathroom) and there is mold growing in the bathtub grout

The toilet paper rolls in the bathroom both had less than half a roll left with no replacement rollsThere are no microwaves in the rooms, but there is a communal one in the front desk area The pool area seems like the nicest part of the hotel The gym area is a typical hotel gymThe hotel is in a fairly centralized location close to plenty of eateries, pubs, attractions, and public transportationThe front desk staff were friendly and helpful Unfortunately the Hilton app didn’t work for keyless entry during my stay, however the physical key wasn’t a problem Check in and out were effortless through the app That being said, I probably should have stopped by the front desk as I have 6 different charges totalling over $2,500 for a $800 stay Additionally I opted for the extra Hilton points rather than meal credits during the check in process and the points have yet to post

When we arrived, our door was open Thought it was strange, but We ignored it and continued on with our stay, at about 10 pm the room above us was running back and forth, slamming doors, jumping around, I finally called the front desk at 3am after me, my son and husband couldn’t take it anymore, the front desk walked up to the noisy room, I assume talked to them, but the sounds continued ALL night long until morning It sounded like a herd of elephants ALL NIGHT LONG

We are going through our day today with Zero sleep, as we have to drive out of state today We also had room service barge into our room 4-5 times I’ve had enough, We will never stay here ever again I understand it’s not the front desks fault for the sounds upstairs, but no one offered us ANYTHING for the inconveniences Highly recommend never staying at that hotel One of our worst experiences ever

Andrew

My girlfriend and I had been traveling and staying at Residence Inn and Towneplace Suites hotels for about a month when we stayed here This was overall one of the nicest Towneplaces that we’d been to, aside from the smells of raw sewage and cigarette smoke, and the terrible managementThis hotel gets a 1 star rating for holding up our check-in process without reason, and for non-communicative practices by their upper management, and even the property owners

*Warning: If sleep is a sensitive topic for you, skip the rest of this reviewCheck-in identity “verification”: We showed up here at about noon, coming from another Towneplace Suites on the other side of SLC I hadn’t slept in about 36 hours, and didn’t want to talk to anyone I wanted to check in and go to bedSo, I checked in via mobile check-in They didn’t issue a mobile key So, my girlfriend went in to the front desk with her ID, our confirmation number, and the payment card on file (which was her own debit card)The front desk declined to check us in, and said I needed to go in, or that I needed to call and add her to the reservation so that she could check in I used the Marriott app to chat with the front desk, and told them to add her to the reservation, and sent her back in with my physical photo IDThey proceeded to ask me some “security” questions via live chat, to “verify” my identity I would’ve been fine with this, if they had actually verified my identity, but they didn’t verify anything – they just wasted our time Every single question that they asked me could be answered with information displayed to me while using the app No 2FA codes, no password entries, no biometric scans Just switching tabs in the app The only thing they verified is what they already knew: someone (me, in this case) was logged into my Marriott account, and was using the Marriott Bonvoy app – the only way to live chat with the front desk at one of these hotelsThis held up the check-in process of 2 tired guests for about 30 minutes Keep in mind, we’re not new Marriott guests We’ve stayed 30 of the last 30 nights (more than that, really) in Marriott hotels, and this one-night stay was actually the one that bumped us up to Platinum Elite status The front desk could see our loyalty status, and still hassled usMy girlfriend providing the physical payment card on file that was used to make the reservation (her own card), plus her ID, was more than enough to “verify” usGet your processes in order, and don’t put on petty shows pretending to understand security, at the expense of your guests’ timeOn top of that, the room we were assigned to reeked of cigarette smoke Someone had smoked in the room, but the hotel didn’t restore it I asked for our night to be refunded at checkout, and I was assured it would be taken care of One month and 10+ contacts later, it still wasn’t taken care ofWhen I called the hotel for the general manager’s email address, the guy at the desk kept saying the phone was breaking up and he couldn’t hear me I thought it was me, but he eventually explained that the wire on the phone at the front desk is damaged What’s the front desk doing with a broken phone, in a building with 200+ corded phones? The email address I was given didn’t even workI contacted the business who owns this hotel (Western States Land Management & Development), directly, several times, and they completely ignored me Unfortunately, the only way to get this resolved was to report the conduct of this hotel’s management to Marriott’s corporate office If anyone else has a communication issue with this hotel’s management, I’d advise them to do the same This place ultimately should have their Marriott franchise license revoked for non-communicationI would not recommend this hotel

Nicolette Donavan

I had high expectations as we had stayed in other Marriott hotels and have always been impressed by how clean the rooms were, which is why we chose to stay in this hotel We got a room that was not clean at all and it was clear housekeeping had not gone through the room to clean after the last person This really made us very uncomfortable considering we travelled a long way, and their regulations during COVID are that their rooms are clean and vacant for 24 hours prior to the next person staying in that room

When we complained, they gave us another room thankfully, but even the new room didn’t feel as clean as it should have been and there was no way to be sure that they are following those regulations they were supposed to

I didn’t like the hotel, there is no free parking, no breakfast, I had to slam the door so it could close every time The shower was clogged up, the pillows were old because they didn’t keep the shape, the light fixture in the bathroom was rusted, the valance on the curtain was falling, furniture was old, bedding was stain They claimed the pool was heated which was not true

Also they don’t have housekeeping If you are used to someone making your bed, getting you clean towels and taking out your trash, this is not the place You have to put your trash outside of your door and ask for everything else you might need but they didn’t tell us that when we checked in To top it all off they don’t have late check out We paid a lot of money and it was not worth the price in my opinion I paid nearly $1,800 for 2 rooms for 5 nights and they couldn’t accommodate for me to check out 1 hour later in one of the rooms It was just 1 hour Some staff were friendly The only good thing about this hotel is LOCATION !!! There is a few hotels around the same area with more amenities so next time I visit I will look somewhere else to stay I feel robbed for the price I paid

Chayla Teske

Didn’t enjoy that we had to pay for parking

$10 per night per car Must have missed that in the description Hotel is a little run down Receptionist was nice A light breakfast would be nice, muffins or something on the goMake sure to put the do not disturb on your door Even though check out is 11am, room service woke us up walking into our room around 830 Doors have large gaps at the bottom so we could hear everything going on in the hallway Kids running, the ice machine running We woke up a few times because of noise in the hallwayThe only plus about this hotel is the close approximately to city center Temple square is right there, the tram is across the street, City Creek Mall is a block away

Maxwell Krem

Stayed 4 days Check-in was easy, and all the staff were very friendly There is no complementary breakfast

Bathrooms are a little bit small but functional enoughThe exercise/workout room has treadmill (was very fussy), a couple elliptical machines, and a set of free weights: workout options are a bit limited The room and bathroom were cleaned well enough, however On the positive side, I thought the staff were very responsive, and the hotel is very close to the light rail and the convention center

This hotel was amazing! As a snowboarder, it felt like it was made for me with the in-room snowboard/ski racks The rooms are modern and very clean The staff was very friendly and welcoming

The rooftop patio is very comfortable and the building itself has a really unique feel to it It is a work in progress, but it was an amazing place as is The snowboard/ski shops, the skate park, and the art gallery all under the same roof was amazingly convenient I can’t wait to come back when it’s completely finished!

This is an amazing space and concept Stitching together one of the best retailers in the outdoor space with a rad hotel and many yet to come experiences (skate park, climbing gym, bar, restaurant and more) within this breathtakingly renovated old building is an experience like no other While there were still a few kinks to work out, we stayed during their soft launch, you totally get where this is headed

Beds were comfy Rooms are cozy Art throughout the space is terrific My daughter really enjoyed the skate park and can’t wait to comeback and use the climbing gym

I really enjoyed my stay at evo Hotel in February The location is very convenient It took me only10 minutes to get to evo Hotel from the airport and when I went snowboarding at Woodward Park City it was a mellow 25 minute commute

Be sure to check out Ruby Snap cookies that is only 2 blocks away (with Roots Coffee shop directly next door) or take a 5 minute stroll north to Rose Establishment for a delicious breakfast The evo Hotel building is beautiful and features really cool artwork throughout There are large murals in the common areas and each hotel room features a different artist There is even a QR code on the door to each room that directs you to information about the featured artist The hotel shares space with outdoor equipment shops (evo), a skatepark and a climbing gym There are 2 outdoor patio areas with fire pits and a great view of the mountains During my week long stay the site was still not 100% open I was told that coming soon there will be an in-house bar, restaurant and coffee bar on site The staff were very friendly and fun to chat with My room was clean (basically brand new) and cozy with a private patio and view of the city and mountains I’ll definitely be coming back

very clean rooms with a full size refrigerator and freezer a full 12 cup coffee pot with coffee provided and paper cups i didn’t look in any of the cupboards because we didn’t cook in the room there may have been porcelain coffee cups as well along with plates and silverware but I am unsure we only stayed one night and was our 1st time staying at a myplace

Bed was comfortable everything was new and clean we definitely would stay again

The hotel and room it’s self aren’t bad, it’s just sketchy They have an extra $100 deposit fee at check-in which I didn’t see posted anywhere but right on the front desk Cool, we paid that and stayed there for 3 nights

The last night we came back to the hotel a little late and after making it all the way up to our floor and room, the keys wouldn’t work We went back to the front desk and they acted like they didn’t know we were in that room still and we had to argue with them for the keys to be reprogrammed since they had shut them off All of our stuff still in the room, and they were trying to deny us access to the only beds we have at 1 in the morning Over $400 for our stay (not including the $100 deposit) and I’m in shock because I’ve never even heard of a hotel doing this I planned to come back and use this hotel often, but not after this incident This made me feel really unsafe, and really unsure about being able to leave my items in the room when I leave to do things If they’re going to cut off my access to the room, who may have had access in between?

We booked through a reputable third party service and the staff told us there were no rooms available when we arrived Multiple other people in the lobby who booked through other services were also told their rooms were oversoldWe requested a refund and were told that we need to get one through the third party service

Then we asked if we could get documentation from them stating they didn’t have a room available to provide as evidence in order to get our refund The immediate response to this was “I don’t have anything to give you”When new guests showed up to check in, the front desk person proceeded to tell us to sit down instead of helping us resolve our issue We were repeatedly brushed off when we asked for updates I realize the staff member was dealing with a stressful situation but she was unnecessarily rude I can’t speak to the quality of the hotel itself but the customer service left something to be desired

I was traveling with my nieces from Ukraine to US We were extremely tired and stressed out Our next flight was next morning

As soon as we stepped inside of the hotel, we were taking care of right away The staff was very nice and professional The room was clean , specious and bed comfortable We enjoyed breakfast in the morning and were picked up by shuttle This hotel is very close to the airport, so the ride was maybe 10-15 min onlySpecial thanks to : Easter, Etta and Christina !!! Ladies, because of your hard work and kindness – we enjoyed our stay very much Big thanks to driver of a shuttle Ed Coleman ! What an amazing person he is! We appreciate you ! 🤗

We stayed here because of all the great reviews and we were definitely disappointed We planned 3 nights for our small family trip but only stayed 2 This hotel is run down, it looks like the double tree tried to “renovate it” but they only added new furniture and paint

The back of the door in the bathroom in room 135 looked like an animal got to it and they just painted over itThe blanket didn’t have a cover… it was a duvet insert without a cover Rooms don’t automatically get room service (I have NEVER experienced this before at any hotel) You have to request it before 9 am We requested 2 times and one time room service just didn’t come, when they did come they were not thorough at all…The pool was run down, paint was bubbling off of the ceiling The hot tub was long gone The grout at the pool was black in some spots and there was weird indoor balconies looking down at the pool In addition, I paid for breakfast at our booking and we had to argue with the lady at the front desk who insisted we have to pay for it again… Ultimately we got our breakfast that we paid for but even that was not worth itUnfortunately we cut our trip a day early because we didn’t want to stay here anymoreWe will not ever be back at a double tree

I stayed here after a flight cancellation and was only actually staying for a few hours before my early, rebooked flight The staff that checked me in was the staff that checked me out They honestly made the experience so wonderful

They remembered my name during the two interactions we had after check in, were patient with my frazzled vibe, and made sure I had water and toiletries for the time I was there Things were clean, the bed was comfy, but above all I felt welcome and cared for

I love the location of the hotel The service was spectacular The front desk and manager were very helpful and constantly making sure that everything was good

I also really enjoyed the atrium The hotel has a lot of great amenities like a Starbucks and a restaurant and a really comfortable giant seating area with a lot of comfortable couches and chairs and ample places to plug in your electronics to charge The pool was nice even though I did not end up using it but I used the fitness center a couple times and it was great The location is very good close to the airport and downtown It is it is definitely a solid four stars The bed was very comfortable in the room was really clean The only reason I would not give it five stars as I felt the rooms themselves were very dated They had kind of an ugly yellowish seventies look and really dim lamps and lighting and I think the rooms are in grave need of upgrading Like I said though they were very comfortable and clean All in all, I would definitely come back

I stayed here about 5 years ago & remember it being pleasant This visit not so much, the front desk was friendly & helpful however there was an attendant walking around the elevators talking about mechanical something or other which made me quite nervous I flat out asked her if we were going to get stuck in the elevator? She said “I think they’re fine but sometimes when they’re at full capacity they can get thrown off” whatever that means? (yikes) I finally asked her to stop talking to us while we waited for the elevator

The decor was super dated, bathrooms were absolutely filthy behind the doors & around toilets, the sofa sleeper also had a brown stain on one cushion I wish I could share photos of our findings We paid $225 each for 2 rooms that my 14 year old twins didn’t even want to shower in because they were noticeably grossI wouldn’t recommend eating here We got the breakfast buffet @ $15 a head & didn’t eat anything but the sealed yogurt & a little fruit Honestly I’ve had better food in hospitalsThis place is overpriced but under delivers…at least we didn’t find any bedbugs :/

The front desk representative Chino was amazing! Very sharp and knew exactly what she was talking about, She helped from when I checked in to my check out day!! She was always willing to help and was always happy and positive!! The housekeeping on the other hand was not so great, I had requested service the night before the day I needed it, and I was gone for the whole day when I returned my room was still dirty, which I understand them being very busy, but when I asked them to clean it they took about 25 minutes and when I went back into my room it was still dirty and bathroom was clearly skipped, the only thing that they did was restock my towels, which I was grateful for but why did it take 25 minutes? When nothing was cleaned? I was a housekeeper for 4 years and I know what is supposed to be done, very disappointed with the housekeeping service, The breakfast chef was amazing!! And was always smiling and was very helpful! She made great omelets! Very pleased with the food!

We enjoyed our stay here Hotel rooms were nice and well kept Our bathroom had a roomy shower with glass doors

The free breakfast was great The staff were welcoming and helpful It’s close to the airport and downtown We rented a car, but honestly it may have been better to just Uber since all we were doing was going downtown We had to pay parking every time we went down there So I’m not sure how much it saved us since we just went down town for a conference all day and kept our parking at one location There were lots that were $20 and others that were $10

JameZ Bee

This is just a great place to stay The rooms are very clean and up to date Mattresses are good

The staff is very attentive, great customer service And the location is conveniently right off the freeway, but not so close that you hear it in your room There is plenty of parking The pricing is a little bit higher than other hotels in the area Not significantly higher But then it’s nicer than the other hotels nearby as well

Kate Swensen

Staff is really helpful and friendly they were the best part of our stay Room cleanliness was okay If you’re going for the pool I wouldn’t classify it as a water park, much smaller than it looks in photos

The Poole cleanliness wasn’t great either Be sure to know kids under 48” can’t ride the big slide which was a letdown for my kids who were just under that My kids had fun but we probably won’t be back

We loved this place! From start to finish everything was perfect Our young girls (<10) fell in love with the hotel and staff Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and we are just a regular family

Decor was beautiful, classic but not ostentatious Room had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable and the view over the city towards the mountains as the sun set was incredible We ate at the Laurel – just amazing! They accommodated the kids and our allergies very well The food was excellent, and very reasonably priced Something for each of us – all empty plates and pleasantly full stomachs The girls especially loved the soup, and one really liked the salmon, the other the steak Our server was delightful! We had fun riding the bus and trains around town We took an easy 30 min bus ride to Mount Olympus, and ate at Rawtopia (highly recommend- very healthy organic & allergy friendly food and the kids ate all of it!) Had a nice walk around there tooThe hotel has two pools, so of course we had to try both The weather was a little cold for the first couple of days, so the indoor pool was the winner there Nice and warm, and not too busy On the warmer days the outdoor pool was lovely Plenty of loungers and attentive service The gentle piano or harp music in the lobby bar / restaurant in the evenings was a great way to soothe the girls The hotel was quiet at night so we all slept well Can’t really think of anything negative to say about it We all hope to be back soon; the girls still ask us to send their pictures to both the hotel and restaurant to say thank you!

This hotel was beautiful Chandeliers everywhere, an amazing flower court yard, multiple lounge areas

Simply beautiful You can pay $20 for them to do valet parking They really take care of you at the front This hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, bars, entertainment, and pretty much anything you want to do in Salt Lake city I attended a conference and they put together meals that looked amazing and gourmet The service was outstanding by everyone we met

Joanna P

High-end hotel with massive suite-style bedrooms, most of which have small balconies The bedrooms are decorated in quite a traditional style and look a little worn in places I stayed here for business but don’t think I would be willing to spend my own money as the nightly rate is very high for quite a dated hotel

The pool is a great size and has plenty of loungers The hotel bar also has a large drinks menu and great service Service at breakfast can be a little slow but the food was solid

We were very impressed with the clean, minimalist, modern, open design of the hotel Rooms were ample size, natural bright light, and very comfortable Check-in and out were a breeze and Dalton the bartender was awesome, spending lots of time with us answering our silly questions about various spirits

We did not get a chance to sample the food Location was great, many restaurants and bars nearby, just a couple of blocks to Temple Square and 12 minutes drive to the airport On-site parking was very convenient and less costly than some city center hotels Will definitely return

Chad Steiner

What an amazing hotel We set up a company meeting here and everything was top notch!! From the interaction with the team to set it up right through to the end of our meeting The meeting room itself was spacious and quiet and had all the hook ups we needed

The bar and breakfast area were just right and the rooms are modern and feel brand new! We really enjoyed having our meeting here!!! Definitely will be the place we come back to for a meeting in Salt Lake!

Shymeia Lee

Whenever I stay at a hotel, I have my normal routine of cleaning any and everything that will be touched My hotel room was neat, clean and dust free The lobby was very inviting and warm and not to mention it smelled like a very well scented man everywhere…LoL

Not sure what candle or essential oil diffuser they’re using but it smelled divine Hospitality and service was top notch and the front desk concierge was very helpful whenever we needed assistance
