Everything about this place was excellent Two pools with pretty impressive views from the rooftop pool We had a late lunch and breakfast at the restaurant and everything we tried was excellent (I do wish they had a larger beer list and/or anything on draft)

Location is an easy walk to the beach and to many restaurants Your resort fee includes towels, chairs, and umbrellas at the beach which is really convenient The thing that stood out most though was the staff Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful

Moss Arch

We come to visit Fort Lauderdale twice a year and we chosen again to stay here Excellent location, service and clean! Cory from front desk makes sure we are always welcome Thank you! This time we got to enjoy the roof top pool and thoroughly enjoyed pool and atmosphere

l and viewWould have given 5 star if pool waiter would come around and take order for drinks and food When asked for the menu the staff made sure I understood that I had to place the order at the bar I believe going the extra mile here would make it more attractive and in my opinion can be easily achieved as there the pool area is small

Amanda Davis

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, a couple of things kept me from doing so The resort is very nice, clean and updated, which is great The staff deserve a 5-star rating themselves – they were awesome! The pool was very nice, but they had very limited chair and umbrellas for guests

The food was decent, and it was ridiculously expensive “hotel prices”, but three of the four places to get food had the same exact menu items, which was kind of pointless Here are the reasons why my rating is so low… The room was nice, but as I was wiping things down with my Clorox wipes (yes, I’m neurotic), I found this mystery white gunk on the bathroom door and by the sink I also found some mystery brown gunk on the toilet, my daughter stepped in a wet puddle in the closet, and there were hairs all over the bathroom and on the bed (not all ones from your head) The other reason why my review is not favorable is because the valet system they have there is HORRENDOUS They only offer a valet option, and at $45/day, it should be an outstanding system they have Depending on when you’re trying to get your car, the whole path is blocked off by cars coming in, and everyone has to wait for the cars to unpack everything and move Because of the valet, we were late to the reservation we had — NOT COOL This place CAN be better — they just have to clean up their valet system and their housekeeping needs to clean up their act (pun intended!) I won’t be returning unless this changes

Ryan Rackliffe

I really cannot express how amazing your staff has been! I booked though Capital One Travel who didn’t end up making the reservation and the staff came to my rescue less than 24 hours before my arrivalPeter, Robert and Courtney are the best and not only did they get me a room at the last minute but the even gave me a discounted rate They definitely made me feel like more than a gold elite member that I am

From check in to check out, they were all very accommodating, the property was beautiful and well kept and room was very comfortableI will definitely be back!

Daniel Shifflett

Hotel is clean and right on the beach with easy access Staff is friendly and helpful Valet is $45 a day

The bedsare hard which might be good for some peopleEDIT AND MORE: Checked out today The front desk did reach out, but we missed it, and was no need to callback We switched beds (double bed room) and did much better Some of it may have been jet lag the first two nights During the week beach chairs were plentiful Nice chairs Easy access is via a walkway over the A1A This was not available after dusk Pool bar

Amber Chaney

I have traveled many many places and was wowed by the Dalmar! they are awesome! first of all, my room was GORGEOUS huge stunning shower and view The staff was so kind and courteous, I loved the soap in my room it smelled wonderful and housekeeping dropped of a bag of soaps and lotions to my room for me to take home when I complimented them! talk about great service! I am stickler for cleanliness and the rooms were fresh, clean, and amazing I am super picky but was so impressed they are an amazing team, even the manager emailed me to ask how my stay was after departure

This hotel is top notch! thank you!!

The staff was really sweet It is right on the beach and the rooms overlook the ocean The pool area is really nice – we spent a lot of time chatting with the staff and enjoying drinks by the pool (well priced drinks)

Room was very nice – a bit dirty but nothing crazy (hairs in the corner, earrings left behind by previous guests) You can definitely hear the neighbors to your room and people in the hall easily

Came here for our first vacation after Covid My wife was an essential worker so we didn’t vacation for 3 years Tania at the front desk was amazing she talked us into an amazing upgrade that was ocean front

She knew exactly what we needed She truly was a breath of fresh air after some travel issues Our room was ready as soon as we arrived to the hotel and was able to go straight to the pool for some relaxation Jasmine at the pool was our server she was so attentive and funny as hell She definitely also gave great recommendations of the neighborhood Hotel is beautiful clean and smell amazing we will be back

My fiance and I stayed here for a much needed get away from the cold We couldn’t have been happier with the service and the amenities the hotel provided Our ocean room view was beautiful! I had a day at the spa which was amazing and very reasonably priced compared to other resorts I’ve stayed at

Our last day we got a beautiful cabana at the pool (also reasonably priced) with impeccable service We will definitely come back!

Beth Lewis

We had the best time at this resort and will be back again! When we first booked we were hesitant about the beach being across the street It is still so close and wasn’t an issue at all The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and helpful

They even surprised us with bubbly in our room for our anniversary Everything is in walking distance so we didn’t touch our car the whole stay The hotel restaurants are fantastic, pool views are beautiful and or ocean view balcony view was the best We love this resort and highly recommend it!

The nice smell you walk into the building to doesn’t disappear until you walk out the door which adds to a great experience Rooms are clean and staff are friendlyI would recommend some adjustments:1

put some chairs on the balconies so we can enjoy the view2 the beds are not facing the TV so it’s a little hard to watch something3 Only 1 chair in the room, maybe add a second chair

Not a single complaint From the beginning, we were treated with top notch service Our flight was early in the day, so we planned on dropping our bags and exploring the area, but our room was ready before 11am (which might have just been circumstantial – but still a nice bonus!)

The hotel is beautiful and the grounds picturesque Great centralized location Short walk to the beach, bars and stores Located on the sound, made for incredible sunset views in the evening We dined at the Secret Garden our first night and were impressed with the quality of food and service Our return flight was later in the day, we were told we could stay as late as we needed which was like having a full added day Highly recommend staying here! We are customers for life!! Well done Pillars

A++I prefer boutique hotels vs large chains mainly for the personal touch and friendlier feel Their onsite restaurant is top notch, not even exaggerating

Extraordinary staff, professional and friendly I like how they arbitrarily checked on me to see if I was enjoying my vacation, not just as it related to my stayHighly recommend

So what to say I will start with the pros and then the few cons I have So the resort is quite friendly and comfortable, and all but one staff person was friendly

The place is down the road from The Bonnet Estate which is a must experience place for anyone It’s also extremely close to a lot and mostly within walking distance as well as being walking distance to the beach Nudity is allowed everywhere except the staircases or the few balconies they are facing the parking lots; sadly this was suite 3 where I was But I did get the best view of the hot tub area where some beautiful men were much of the time The pool is heated which makes the Florida heat somehow seem less scorching And I think it is a salted water pool as I did not have any eye burning, etc The only con I have is the firmness of the beds I have a bad vertebrae that likes to swell upOverall I am so pleased with mine and my partner’s experience here I hope to be back sometime

Christopher Kogut

Came for an 80-minute massage and to spend a few hours after I checked out of my hotel and before my flight out Couldn’t recommend more Curtis gave a fantastic massage, checking in on pressure and responding accordingly

They graciously welcomed me to spend the afternoon, even though I wasn’t staying on property, offering a place to shower before I had to leave I will definitely come back, but next time to stay at this beautiful small resort

A J

My husband I visited Fort Lauderdale in March, and although we did not stay at the resort, we did book a few spa sessions, which came with a day pass to the resortThe spa was fantastic! Both of us had a sugar scrub and a massage, and while I was there I also booked a back facial Roberto was my therapist for both the scrub and the massage, and I cannot say enough good things about him

The scrub was like nothing I ever experienced before – so relaxing, so luxurious feeling, and so rejuvenating The massage was also wonderful – a nice combination and muscle rubs and stretches I would do both again when I come back for a visit, and I would definitely request Roberto because he was so amazing Not only were both treatments enjoyable, but Roberto was extremely friendly, put me at ease immediately, and seemed like an all around great guy I enjoyed our conversation as much as I enjoyed the scrub and the massageI was excited to get my first back facial, too I had never had one before and had been wanting to try one for a while Paula did my treatment and was also wonderful She also gave me some really good advice for keeping my usually terrible back skin in a good shape I would definitely get another one, or maybe try my first facial with PaulaOverall, I can’t recommend the spa enough If you only have time for one visit, do not miss out on a scrub You will not regret it

The food at the restaurant is very good, and love the breakfast offeringThe only bummer I found was the availability of the bike rental given everyone was charged for the destination fee, there needs to be sufficient inventory

The front desk team were very accommodating especially Allen and Terrell Although we did not use valet service, the valet team very polite and engaging in conversation especially Rowan We’ll definitely be back!!

The whole experience was terrible I checked out early and was unable to even complete my stay there because the experience was just that horrible The hotel staff were not hospitable and not what I am accustomed to experiencing from the Marriott brand

The room smelled bad Our concerns about the smell were not adequately addressed The first night they stated they could only clean the room but they were unable to move us to a comparable room since they were at capacity for the night The next day the hotel staff said that they would need to do an assessment of the room before moving Ridiculous! They then say they still are unable to move us and offered to clean the room again, which I was not interested in then having to stay in the same room where they are spraying with tons of cleaning products, also while our luggage is still in the room The manager followed up later on that day Finally, the manager told us that they would move us to another room on the same floor The manager stated she would leave a note with the front desk staff However, the communication between the managers and the front staff was horrible Once we were packed and were ready to move to the different room the front desk staff acted as if they had no idea what we were referring to They said they had no comparable rooms available I asked to speak with the manager and they advised they already left for the night Eventually, they “magically” found us a comparable room, but it wasn’t on the same floor as they promised Actually, the new room was now on the lower third level close to the highway, where we can hear the highway traffic all night long I imagine this wouldn’t have been an issue if the hotel had double pane windows The next morning we speak to the manager of the hotel and he is condescending, ignores our concern, and makes tons of excuses instead of apologizing for the many inconveniences we experienced during our stay After that encounter, I checked out early I moved to a full service Marriott hotel in the area And the experience was night and day I received much better treatment after moving to another hotel This Courtyard location needs to ensure they are adequately cleaning their rooms, especially if they are a pet friendly hotel But most of all, they need to learn to treat their customers with respect As a Marriott Gold elite member I’ve never experienced this type of treatment and horrible customer service I would never recommend staying at this hotel

This has been a pleasant surprise  For the price, I was expecting something a little more aged but it looks brand new   Even though its new,  the staff really knows what they’re doing – all very pleasant, busy, kind, etc

Rooms are clean and spacious with large windows and televisions  Modern lighting controls and plenty of charging ports The lobby is contemporary, yet inviting It has a convenient little “store” for snacks and drinks  The restaurant, coffee shop and bar on the lobby level are OK – kinda the only thing that’s missed the mark Dinner is far better than breakfast The food portions are small and quality is so so (it’s a hotel, I get it) The real bummer is they say it’s not part of the hotel, so you cannot charge your room for meals or drinks  Same with the roof top bar

We had an amazing stay We spent five night and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating The grounds were very well taken care of and the room was very clean

Breakfast was served daily It may not have been a hot breakfast but a bagel or English muffin was what we needed to soak up some of the alcohol from the night before Everyone staying at the property was extremely friendly also, mostly a very put together casual group of men Generally after 10pm things started to quiet down a bit at the property but if you were not interested in going out to the bars you could generally find a small group of guys in one of the two hot tub to drink with and have conversation I will definitely return

The rooms? Basic, but clean and comfortable How much time do you actually spend in your room anyway? Especially when the pool, guests, and staff are so greatThe grounds? Beautifully manicured and green

The pools? Clean and brightThe staff? Ray is the super kind and helpful Minus one grumpy man the rest of the staff is attentive and great! Now for the mushy part I have tried to start this review over and over again I can’t quite put into words the magic that this place creates This was my first solo trip and I was nervous to say the least The staff greeted me warmly and I immediately was made to feel comfortable There is a feeling of community among the other guests You are welcome to roam from one property to the other, bouncing from pool to pool I quickly made connections with the other guests and I can confidently say that I made life-long friends We would spend the day in the pool, visiting, and drinking, then take our little group of travelers out on the town The guests range in age, body type, and ethnicity making it feel like a true community This place will even bring the shyest out of their shell I had many *wink* connections with fellow guests and it just made my visit even better If there is any doubt in booking here, please allow this review push you over to booking You will not be disappointed Thank you Worthington, I am not exaggerating when I say this place changed my life

Had a good time Staff was wonderful and attentive Though some of the visitors could be nicer, we understand that the owners have nothing to do with them and have no control over who visit’s

My second visit since 2003 and will not wait another (almost) 20 years to revisit Met a couple who are from our area and we made friends with them Let’s see what happens next year

I was referred this establishment by a dear friend

she must hate meFirst we did not receive the room that was requested, also told there wasn’t anything else available, after seeing and refusing what was “available ” I went back to the front desk to complain This is when I heard the people checking in AFTER me, getting a similar room that I requestedThen I was offered a comparable room with an upgrade available the following dayThe following day, after being placed in an acceptable room, we noticed the room was a bit chilly so we adjusted the thermostat and went about our plans, only to return to a room that was colder than before Turns out, an electrician needed to be dispatched and something was repaired so our room could be comfortableThe next day, we waited 2 hours for room service, we were told it would be a 1/2 hour and this threw our schedule off once again, only to have an incomplete order delivered It is now around 1 and still no sign of house keeping, although the cart has been in the hallway all day, so I ask to make sure my room gets down I’m assured it is, I also let front desk know that my room needs attention, they CALL someone while I’m standing there and assure that it will be done I come back to my room at 10:30pm anticipating a hot bubble bath and guess whatthe ROOM HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED, so here I am, 11pm, waiting for by room to be cleaned so I can bathe and rest before my flight tomorrow Worst hotel experience EVER I have frequented the W franchise in NJ before will excellent experiences, this franchise I advise to avoid at all cost No amount of monetary compensation could ever make up for time and aggravationCan’t wait to see what goes wrong tomorrow Can’t wait to go back home

My experience with the W hotel was phenomenal I arrived at the hotel early due to an early flight I hoped that we would be able to check in early but wasn’t going to push my luck since it was only 10:30am

I must add I worked at this property briefly 7 years ago and my brother in law was the Hotel manager there This place holds a special place in my heart and I was extremely excited to visit after 7 years! I was met by an incredibly friendly Front Desk Agent named Nester He was so extremely kind, allowed me to talk his ear off about my time at the property He even upgraded me to a room with a view and was able to work his magic and get me a room within an 15 hours He made me feel extremely welcomed and reminded me about all the things I love about hospitality I myself am an Assistant General Manager now and it warms my heart when I see others exemplify excellent customer service There were a few small issues but nothing worth writing home about We even were able to take advantage of a late check out due to a late flight Thank you to the W staff for an incredible experience I can’t wait to visit again soon 🙂

Great W Hotel with very good service with almost all the staff I interacted with and a pleasant and a relaxing ambience they have created The location is oceanfront The Living Room is amazing with a great view of the ocean and food and drink service all day

The rooms are great as well and spacious especially if you have one of the bigger residential units The beach in front of the hotel is very nice I walked on it many evenings after working during the day Although it is across the street, the beach was still very good and relaxing The steak restaurant at the hotel was also excellent and the staff was again excellent The only uncomfortable situation was when I worked out at the gym at midnight one night, the cleaning person was very very unprofessional and basically just hung out inside and right outside the gym for over an hour talking to his/her friend on the phone and cleaned for like 5 minutes
