We didn’t stay at the resort, we just ate at the restaurant The service was excellent Staff saw us to a table without any wait

They took our order very quickly Our drinks and food were delivered expeditiously My beer (Racer 5 IPA from Bear Republic Brewing) was delicious The appetizer was delicious, although I don’t remember what they called it All in all, a pleasant way to spend an hour chatting with relatives

The Front Room is the best bar/lounge in West County with a special nod to their bartenders Friendly, courteous, professional and they make the best espresso martini you’ve ever had And the fact they have Blind Pig on tap is just a bonus

Did I mention Happy Hour 5 days a week? I would give it a higher rating, but I’m limited to only 5

So beautiful, everyone is really niceThe restaurant is B U L L S H I TPortions are small, price is through the roof, frozen “country potatoes”

Their restaurant business model is simpleSpend all the money to make it look as nice as possible, charge based on how fancy it looks, and give college kids a microwave to cookSo horrible, but nice people and beautiful location

Eric

Very mixed stay at this Marriott property Room was nice and overall staff was helpful However, two exchanges left me feeling quite under-valued during this stay

First issue: when calling the front desk to ask for room slippers and a hot water kettle, I was told the hotel doesn’t have these items The front desk then said, “I guess you are used to a full service hotel” For the price and brand, I had assumed this was a full service hotelNote: the front desk did go out and get a kettle (thank you!), but the comment was quite strange and disconcertingSecond issue: I called down to housekeeping to request the room be turned Front desk again responded, “Did you already request a room turn? We have over 100 rooms to do today, so I’ll see if we can get to yours” Again, this is a minimum level of service expected at a hotel Not sure why they thought saying this was okayNote: when we left the room, the housekeeper in the hallway asked very politely if we wanted service That was the kind of experience I was expecting!Otherwise, the cafe was quite nice and location was very convenient I would stay again, but I hope the staff is a little better in communicating

I’ve been coming to California for work a lot more recently, and I decided to try Marriott Mainly because they had a hot tub People at the front desk were so friendly, laid-back, and it was comforting after an eight hour travel day

The burger in the bistro was one of the best burgers I have ever had, and I am a hell of a cook and I’m very impressedI cant wait to stay again!

We stayed one night at H2 We booked via Mr & Mrs Smith and got 2 free cocktails ($25 value) at the rooftop bar next door Hotel is pretty cool – green / eco friendly with lots of little cool features – heated pool out back, water (sparkling and flat) taps in the halls, free ‘snacks’ in the room, included continental breakfast, free bikes, etc

Super close to everything – we walked to dinner and shops I ran 5 miles around town from the hotel Great little spot for a night or two in town Healdsburg Valet parking or we got lucky across the street w free parking until noon Thanks guys! 👍🏻🌿🍷

I’ll start with the positives The location is great The valet was great

The employees we interacted with were great The breakfast was great These were all things outside of our room Once in the roomit’s was pretty bad and for this we would not stay here again Bed was terribleworst ever for us 2 cheap twin mattresses pushed together to make a king with a lumpy mattress cover Lead to awful sleep and a aching back Beds at a Motel 6 are better! Room was dirty with hair and grime everywherelook at the corners in every roomgross Woke up to a huge spider web with a big spider next to the vanity Nice way to start the 1st morning We requested service to our room and never got it No offer of compensation for the disappointment Unfortunately we would not recommend staying here until the rooms are upgraded and held to a higher standard We expected much more for this location and price point

Soni Balbuena

I will admit that I was very hesitant when we booked our rooms at the Pine Beach Inn, however, I was so pleasantly surprised, that I will for sure stay again The rooms are very dated, but we stayed in rooms 50 and 51, and had a beautiful view of the ocean and trees, it almost felt like we were in the Amazon with the birds A very nice size balcony with a sliding glass door was a great way to end our evening

The property had great big bon fires going, which was a lot of fun, the private beach was wonderful The staff was very friendly, and helpful The downside to this property is that there is NO PHONE RECEPTION In my group was had three different phone carriers, and I had barely one bar with Verizon, so it can be a bit isolating if you are not prepared for that Overall, we had a great time, and will probably rebook

Giving it three stars for two reasons: the terrible mattress and the noise It’s a clean, modern roll but your quality of sleep will not be good At all

And that’s what you mainly do in hotel rooms The mattress and pillows are so lumpy, saggy and so uncomfortable If you sit on the mattress, wherever you sit is 6 inches lower than the rest of the bedOn to noise: the glass they used has zero sound proofing Healdsburg is a wine town, people drinking wine get loud You will hear every single conversation that goes by (and we were on the 3rd floor) On weekends get ready for the 7am recycling truck Sounds like a tanker And there’s a trend in CA to have the loudest possible car – which is the most shocking, heart stopping sound when you are half asleep (in your mush bed with your neck starting to really feel it)The hotel is really so nice and clean and well designed but we didn’t leave well rested, we left tired and achy and so this isn’t worth the cost If you do stay you must request a room not facing the street!

Rose Carmichael

Hotel offered many luxurious amenities – snacks, espresso, robes, slippers, water, full sized toiletries, dining recommendations, free bike rentals, control curtains, and more Rooms were clean and staff was friendly I was able to borrow a bike and ride around Healdsburg

Similar to the complaints from other reviews1 Bed was too soft2 Very noisy if your room is facing the main street On Tuesday morning, the garbage trucks came bright and early at 5 am You can also hear every car passing by

Jared Lewandowski

The stay was great, rooms were nice, top floor bar and dining were on point – however, check out was a nightmare They were understaffed, sent the invoice to wrong email address multiple times on two different days, and they lost the keys to my rental car at check out, only to find them in the back of the valet drawer 45 mins laterTLDR: You’ll enjoy the stay, just give yourself plenty of time when checking out 🙂

Absolutely one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in! A true gem in Healdsburg The staff is super accommodating The rooms are GORGEOUS! The bathrooms are LUXURIOUS! And the location is perfect

Walking distance to stores, great restaurants, and tasting rooms (and a Farmers Market on Saturdays) And a short drive to hundreds of wonderful wineries/ vineyards I was going to “treat” myself with one stay and have been going back ever since Its THAT NICE!!

Nancy Hayssen

Excellent staff I came here for a Healdsburg Chamber networking event The place is stunning and very charming

I was greeted immediately when walking in with wonderful hospitality Love the decor, ambiance, and vibe of this hotel It’s conveniently located in downtown Healdsburg I enjoyed our networking event in the back patio area which was perfect

Rick Locke

Outstanding hotel with spacious rooms, classic French furnishings, marble bathroom (with a bidet) and a fireplace! Large French casement Windows open to the quiet streets below Amenities like bottled water, Nespresso machine, fresh cream, chocolates at turn down each night, and even a bottle of wine at arrival were all included Loved that the tv went into a cabinet when not turned on

The four poster canopy bead was super comfortable and was great for just lounging in hotel provided robes Sitting area and desk made catching up on work emails simple and comfortable Also had a both an after dinner bottle of wine with friends, and a business meeting in the library off the lobby It was incredibly comfortable and the staff was accommodating Finally, the Chalkboard Restaurant in the building was excellent (as every Healdsburg restaurant has been) Just a block from the park and lots of restaurants, shops and tasting rooms Truly a pleasure to stay here

I’m between 3 and 4 stars here On the upside, it’s a very pretty place, our room was beautiful and having a balcony was a real plus The premises are nice with firepits and outdoor games

Touches like coffee service in the morning and aperitif in the evening are very niceThe downside is that the hotel doesn’t feel well equipped to live up to the hospitality you’d expect from a 4 star hotel and the price For example, we were made to feel bad about asking for a piece of toast at breakfast because the kitchen was busy I had tried to pre-book a massage, going back and forth with online concierge over the course of 2 days only to be told at the end that the room was too small for a massage table On their own, one little thing like this doesn’t matter but it does add up when hospitality falls short several times A lot of the issues we saw seemed to have an easy fix: hire more staff to ensure hospitality can be a priority

Jusneet Kaur

We had a lovely stay last weekend The property was glamorous and intimate No kids around was a big plus, and we enjoyed seeing people with their dogs

I loved that there were only a handful of other guests and I felt very covid safe The staff is spectacular We stayed in a spacious Armstrong King room and especially enjoyed the fireplace, jacuzzi tub big enough for 2, and the sumptuous breakfasts included in the room rate Picking a few pears to take home was the cherry on top of a delightful weekend getaway

Letitia Hsu

The Stavrand is like a little villa tucked away among the redwoods Spacious grounds that felt very private and cheery staff It was in the perfect location for us, as we were interested in exploring the Sonoma coast and wine tasting in Russian River / Sebastopol

We started our visit by checking out happy hour, where whiskey and chocolate had been set out I had selected the Armstrong room #33, and it was overall wonderful It could’ve had more seating, but I loved the gas fireplace, the bed was firm and very comfortable, and I appreciated that there was a mini fridge (we traveled with a baby) Note that this room is on the second story, and there are no elevators (which makes sense, but didn’t dawn on me when I booked it)When we first arrived, the dinner menu looked enticing — there was wagyu steak and farfalle, but I had already booked reservations elsewhere Note it is $125/pp We hope to be back perhaps to try itDuring mornings, we headed to their dining hall— it is gorgeous I love the black paneling, rustic lights, and small touches of decor It felt COVID-safe as they spaced us out throughout the space Food-wise, I was a little disappointed since the Stavrand is held out to be a 4-star hotel — if it was 3-star, I’d say the food was fine My lox toast was burnt along the edges, and one of the days, we did not get a meal selection and were served yogurt bowls, with hard-boiled eggs, and croissants as the pastry of choice that morning Having read there is a resident pastry chef, the croissants were nothing to write home about Anyhow, we were always pleasantly placed by a fireplace and enjoyed eating our breakfast soaking in the quietness of the space My husband was also surprised with dark chocolate that we were told was made in-house, so that was a food highlightOverall, we had a positive experience and would recommend the Stavrand to our friends Despite some mixed feelings, it was generally a pleasant stay and we had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday

We were really excited to stay here, since it’s in such a beautiful location Unfortunately, there are plenty of other places that would be a better fit for folks Here are a few of the reasons why you shouldn’t stay here:(1) if you’re just here to stay the night – they will still charge you a $25 destination fee for a wine tasting that happens from 3 pm to 7 pm

No one told us it was happening when we booked – and we still got charged even though we checked in at 8 pm When we brought it up to the concierge after staying the night, he was incredibly rude and couldn’t take the $25 fee off(2) the map/route of the building doesn’t make sense Elevators are in random parts of the building and if you’re differently able, it’s gonna be difficult navigating the area The carpet is everywhere and hard to move luggage on(3) the key card system doesn’t work We had a room but couldn’t get to the bar, stairs, and the breakfast room through the hotel Instead we would have to walk outside to access the main lobby areas to enter – OR wait for another person to open it for you It seemed like other people of color had similar issues with their key cardsReasons why you should stay here:(1) great rooms, great atmosphere, and a small lobby bar that’s great!

S.P. Cason

Fantastic experience The front desk team did a wonderful job with the check in/check out process and always willing to help Room was clean

large and comfortable We loved the location but the freeway was a little loud when outside by the pool Food service is a little lacking on site but the quick bite by the lobby bar were pretty good and ton of local places to eat within easy walk from the hotel My only big issue would be the out dated key system Keys wouldn’t work in a lot of the outside doors and the gate on the back of the property wasn’t secure and nor was the fence that lead out to the public trailOverall really a nice property at a reasonable rate Defiantly will stay there again

Alice W

I would have given 5 stars for the quality of the room and the kindness of staff However, I was charged $62 for a facility use fee which was never explained before I checked in at any time I called to ask about it and the desk clerk said he would reverse it

A week later and $34 was refunded out of the $62Lastly, I was told I shouldn’t worry about paying for the self-parking by the desk when I checked in The girl actually tossed away my exit ticket for the parking, saying I can just go through when I leave When I checked out I double checked asking again if I should keep a room key to exit with my car, but she assured me it was fine I ended up having to pay with a credit card for parking I would not have minded paying had it just been expected It was frustrating that I had to scramble at the gate to push buttons to be able to exit the lot until I paidThis would be a 5 star Hyatt if they could do away with the facilities fee (or any fee that is not explained BEFORE check in) and there should be consistent rules around parking so as not to confuse guests

No heat in the main house Space heater in room was inadequate Room temperature was likely below 60 degrees — much colder in the breakfast room

Taking a shower was like roulette, alternating between freezing and scalding Breakfast appeared as if it had been warmed — it wasn’t hot Besides the awful conditions, host and hostess seemed aloof — as if there wasn’t really a problem (even though we were the only guests in the main house) Moved us to a different property for our second night, but gave the impression they were doing us a favor

Nadine Manfredi

My stay at Camilla Inn was excellent! The Inn is very pretty and walking distance from everything in the Square Lucy greeted us when we arrived and was a wonderful host She pays attention to the smallest little details to make your stay great

It was so impressive to wake up in the morning and there was a pot of decaf coffee waiting for me with my name on it! Breakfast by the pool was terrific too The lounging by the pool during the day was so relaxing – flowers and hummingbirds everywhere The rooms are really nice too Everything was so fresh and clean The bed was comfortable with soft sheets The bathroom was a nice size too! Very happy with my stay and hope to visit again soon,

Linda Monroe

I couldn’t be happier with our stay at the Camellia Inn The property and home are absolutely lovely and everything was spotless The owners were friendly and helpful, plus wonderful snacks, wine, and a delicious breakfast were all included

The town of Healdsburg was a delight Friendly people, lovely shops and a great park with restaurants, the best ice cream and even some live music to enjoy whilst sipping adult beveragesI can’t think of anything that would have made this trip more delightful except that I wish we had stayed longer!

We spent a wonderful week at the Duchamp where we felt safe and pampered the entire time The location is ideal, steps away from downtown Healdsburg, but very quiet and private The onsite parking lot was a great convenience

I can’t say enough nice things about everyone on the staff They all were extremely friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to provide outstanding service The rooms are enormous, modern, and very clean, the grounds are beautifully kept We felt like family while staying here

Scott Sargent

Score could be 45 Two minute walk to Healdsburg Plaza makes for great shopping and restaurant access

Quiet, separate bungalow, with direct private outside access allow easy in/out from the hotel Interior offers large room and bathroom The minimalist danish modern architecture is clean and appealing However, the interiors are a bit dated and need some “freshening” Bathroom floor tile needs grout, duplex wall outlet in bathroom and safe were inoperable, and a ceiling light hung loose from its cord The bedding was simply sumptuous Pillows were excellent The housekeeping staff were invisible but our room was well stocked with ample high grade towels and wash cloths It was expensive but we enjoyed our stay and will return

Jennifer Raven-Harris

This is not your standard hotel with valets, concierge, room service What you do get is the feeling of staying in an upscale guesthouse with lots of light and air situated steps away from the square just around the corner from Willi’s seafood so you are close to the action but far enough away to be peacefulAbsolutely serene and luxurious

Pool and hot tub are sparkling on a hot day and with only 6 cottage suites on the property it’s quiet and private 3 cottages including our cottage #3 face the pool while the others face the creekHuuuge shower and bathroom All very modern clean lines, soft linens Lots of off street parking Room comes with gift certificates to the nearby bakery for breakfast Definitely will come back here Note: no kids or dogs allowed

The Gables was absolutely perfect The house is gorgeous and well maintained Pam and Larry were wonderful to chat with

When you check in, one of them shows you around the house and explains how to work anything in your room Breakfast was Maybe the best breakfast I’ve ever had in my life Pam makes the first two courses and Larry makes the main course Pretty much everything came from their garden or locally They were helpful with suggestions and packed us a great picnic basket (it’s a request you can add to your reservation) The rooms were comfortable and beautiful I encourage you to take a walk around the beautiful property and see their lavender garden, grape vines, redwoods and more Thank you Pam and Larry for a wonderful stay

Jeff Lerman

We had an absolutely lovely time here on an August weekend The house itself is historic, kind of amazing, and very well kept Larry and Pam were both warm and professional, and seemed to have thought of all the details and then some

Breakfasts were quite a treat! and it was nice to meet some of our fellow guests over that hour each morning They even have resident barn owls in the barn!

Larry and Pam are not just great innkeepers, they are also: consummate chefs, knowledgeable guides of the Sonoma wine scene, artists, winemakers…the list goes on, and yes, I’m ranting a bitAs chefs: each breakfast is an event Larry makes his own bread, using his own starter, native yeasts

The outcome is amazing He creates the main dish for each breakfast, from feather-light soufflés to elaborate egg dishesAs guides: they connected us with the most phenomenal Sonoma winemakers: Mike Talty, Carol Shelton, Phyllis Zouzounis, and many othersAs artists: each guest room, and the dining room, is a study in color coordination, local art, and period accessoriesAs winemakers: they even have a vineyard of Riesling grapes, and made a wine from it blended with Viognier grapes! We emerged spoiled, happy, and grateful that they were such caring hosts Do yourself a favor Go

Very well-kept property Digital check in and digital key were super convenient and easy on the Hilton app Room was clean and bed was super comfortable

Was nervous to hear children next door when I arrived to my room but didn’t heat a peep all night Walls are not paper thin here, as are common in most hotels Breakfast had a decent variety Safe area, brightly lit parking lot Would definitely stay again

Very clean and comfortable hotel with current renovations and nice pool area We paid a ton because of limited availability this weekend in the whole area but we were still happy anyway Really saved driving time for us and the quick complimentary breakfast is a lifesaver with kids

Really appreciate having protein options at breakfast like scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs

St Pauls

Check in was friendly and efficient Room was clean with plentiful towels The A/C unit has a wood frame around it for added space to set your stuff on

The bathroom is large with nice counter-top space and a shelf above the level of the wash basin, so you can easily keep your accessory bags out of any splashed water Bed was comfortable and overnight sleeping was quiet Plenty of charging ports at bedside and on the desk This facility is well worth the money we paid (compared to another Hilton property we stayed at when coming home and traveling thru the Bay Area) Bell carts readily available when we checked in and checked out The breakfast was fabulous however, the only reason I give this property 4 stars is one of the maintenance/housekeeping workers ate her breakfast in the breakfast room along with the patrons and several of the employees came thru the breakfast room to ask this maintenance/housekeeping staff person questions Seemed a bit unprofessional Entry and exit to the freeway was a breeze–nice location

We loved our stay at boon hotel + spa It’s a little oasis surrounded by nature, and you instantly feel relaxed the moment you walk into the property Great vibes at the pool with the fire pit and hot tub

Our favorite part of the whole stay was Jay, the hotel manager He’s so fun to chat with and made us feel at home We can’t wait to come back!

We recently stayed at this hotel for a wedding and had a wonderful time The staff are more than impressive, and I want to shout out to Jay espcially for the exceptionally warm welcome I want to call out the hot tub, as I think this is the best hot tub I have ever used! I most have used it 6 times over the course of the weekend and felt like a Roman Emperor – it is hot hot hot, and I loved it

Great room, really comfy bed, exceptional staff and a great atmosphere Loved my stay here!

The hotel experience is 5 stars for us Great location, quiet and clean The self serve honor bar area is a great asset as well to grab a drink or make yourself a cocktail

Something to be aware of is the phone reception is essentially non-existent for ATT (at least in room 12) and while there is WiFi it does not always allow for a call or message to come through Great for the relaxation part but a bit stressful if you need to be reached Can’t forget to mention how great the bikes are for a quick ride to Armstrong Redwoods or into town for dinner or a cocktail! The spa experience was sadly a 3 Many reviews mention how wonderful this experience was so we bit the bullet on price and indulged A little story as to why our rating…one of us did the 90 min body + sole and the other just 90 min therapeutic We got there at our appt time and had to fill out the release forms which takes a few minutes and then by the time we are on the table and the massage therapists are in, it’s close to 1:10 There was some music issues my therapist had to address that he stepped away from the table to deal with which is not a big deal but post massage, now fully dressed and walking out, when I looked at the time it was 2:30 on the dot After spending almost $500 on the two massages I would have hoped to have actually gotten my 90 minutes and not just 75 min The quality of the massage was better for one of us than the other but we both agreed, while it was relaxing, it did not live up to the hype

We had our wedding at Montage Healdsburg and it was perfect in every way possible Incredible property, food/drinks, and service! They made us feel like royalty and they were so accommodating to us and our guests The property sweeps you away, it feels like you’re in a super remote, gorgeous escape

The hotel is extremely clean and quiet The beds were exceptionally comfortable The staff was very professional, warm, welcoming and friendly

The grounds are well kept and the restaurant has very good food I had the pesto chicken sandwich and it was actually amazing Would definitely recommend renting a car and driving to the state parks and walking through the forest

Jane Malo

Overall very nice stay Staff was friendly and welcoming Room was very clean and beds were comfortable

Nice convenient location Only suggestion is to avoid a room overlooking the bar/open lobby There was a very loud party happening in the bar and even though our room was on a higher floor, the laughing/screaming echoes up the open foyer Not the fault of the hotel, and I’m happy those guests were able to enjoy themselves, but had a long, early drive in the morning and they made it difficult to sleep

Tim Gladwin

Room was decent size and very clean There was a bit of noise from the pool (during the day) and from doors closing down the hall, but we slept well Bathroom ventilation didn’t seem to be working too well but no sign of mold

Reported it to the desk and they were checking it out Very handy to the Luther Burbank Center Good breakfast Ok recommend this hotel
