We stayed at the Edgewood Inn for a wedding The location was absolutely stunning and the wedding was beautiful Even better, Dean and Kathy went above and beyond to make the weekend a great experience for everyone

Kathy cooked an amazing breakfast and made sure my kids had food they would enjoy My daughter left her beloved baby blanket behind and Dean found and mailed it back to us Highly recommend the Edgewood Inn for guests of all ages!

Had my wedding here The Inn is absolutely gorgeous inside and out, with plenty of space for all kinds of gatherings and activities The scenery is downright magical, with a gorgeous view of Pikes Peak and the surrounding forests from almost everywhere on the property

The rooms are lovely and the furnishings are pleasant and tasteful The breakfast was DELICIOUS Whether you want to book the place for a full wedding or just a weekend getaway, if you want an easy-going, pleasant stay, great views, and wonderful accommodations, this is definitely the placeDean and Kathy, the owners, were also an absolute joy They helped us with every step of our wedding weekend, far beyond what they needed to do They were always there whenever we needed something, always easy to get in touch with when needed, and so extremely kind and welcoming Not just us, but our bridal party, family members, and wedding guests were all treated as honored guests in someone’s home They helped make our wedding truly special, and I would recommend this place to anyone

I reserved a tea party for 10 at Debbie’s beautiful Rocky Mountain Tea Room It is located in scenic Cascade, minutes from highway 24 The lodge is so beautiful and cozy

The table setting was gorgeous with lovely tea cups, China plates and fabric napkins Debbie created a delicious mini menu with my name printed across the top of the card The lodge smelled like all of the fresh scones, sandwiches, and pastries she baked for us She serves proper English scones, with home made cotted cream, home made lemon curd, and jelly Her sandwiches were outstanding, and the tea was excellent! The food was delicious, all of it! I highly recommend spending time at her lodge for tea I will return soon!

Wow what a wonderful place to stay! The Cascade suite was amazing! The jacuzzi tub and shower was awesome, the bed was so comfy and the hot tub so relaxing! The view is beautiful as well! Debbie and Brian were so sweet and made us feel so comfortable during our stay! We also booked a horse back ride and couples massage and both were perfect! We will definitely be returning!

Catherine Jarry

My (now) husband had booked this cabin for the first week of our honeymoon It’s absolutely adorable and the perfect size for a newly married couple looking for some time away from reality The hot tub is a nice touch although I thought this place was isolated from the other cabins; there were 3 children on bikes a few hundred feet away from us in the back yard so it was a bit hard to relax and give my husband my undivided attention

The bed was SO comfortable! We just wish there were thinner pillows for people who have bad backs/necks We found ourselves switching out the pillows for our arms or sweatersThe bathroom was like something you’d see in a dream! Very spacious, lots of counter space and a two person sized bathtub! The shower was a bit hard to work but my husband and I found the opposite shower head worked for usWe do wish the tv didn’t randomly boot us out of Netflix or blacked out in the middle of the movies we were watching We also had the dvds we used freeze, skip, and/or crash every few minutes We gave up and used our laptop to continue watching movies for the remainder of our stayOH and we understand that we couldn’t have direct access to a trash barrel outside the cabin because of greedy neighbors, but it’s hard to have a nice stay when your personal trash is flooding the kitchen table It’d be nice not to have to bother the really nice owners every day/every other day just to dispose of our trash

Considering this is listed as a 3-star hotel and priced accordingly, we were expecting a bit more First, the location is good, as it’s nearby many mountain attractions In fact, you have some views of said mountains from the room

Which even features a super small balcony for a single person to step out onto The room was a decent size and had the usual amenitiesHowever, it does feel a bit old and needs a refresh The floors creaked in multiple places, the bathroom fixtures are showing their age, the cloth couch had a stale odor, and the room overall had a musky odor to it Things that you could pick up from just walking into the hotel – so not likely isolated to our room Basically, signs that it needs proper deep cleaning and refresh There’s a good chance you’ve got some mold or mildew starting to creep in Too many smaller hotels neglect this sort of stuff and wait until it becomes a major issue before they deal with itBreakfast was on the average to disappointing side The few hot items weren’t good, but you’ve at least got some decent pastries, juices, and the usual cereal/coffee itemsOverall, it got the job done, and we were able to spend most of our 2-night stay out doing things instead of being at the hotel But we’d have to see a notable refresh before checking in again, as there are better options at this price point

Alex H

Great value with near perfect location Rooms are not outright modern, but they are clean, comfortable and have everything needed The breakfast is a nice addition as well

The staff was friendly and easy to work withAs mentioned, the location was more than ideal It’s a ten minute walk to garden of the gods and an even simpler drive The #36 free bus is right across the street from the hotel to get to downtown Manitou Springs and runs every 20 minutes This bus can get you to the #33 free bus to the cog railway Staying here made our brief trip extremely simple, and would recommend it for people looking for a similar itinerary

April Brooke

Well I liked everything about this room minus 4 things We were right on a busy road, directly across the road was a dispensary (and the smell was potent),🤧 The room had ants

(they Sprayed- but they were still there) and no discount was given for said insects or room move We were there for 3 daysLoved the hot tub and breakfast in the morning Just wished this would have been till like 10am though but that’s just because we had a late arrival Thursday and would have liked to have slept till 9😉then get breakfast The rooms were cleaned every day Those attendants do a spectacular service!

Our team just got back from a week retreat in Colorado Springs We absolutely loved our stay here Connie worked with us to get everything set up for all our team members and schedule out the conference rooms and group meals

Everything went so smooth The property has an amazing view The restaurant on site is surprisingly good The kids loved having both the indoor and outdoor pool options The team also liked the ability to take morning and evening hikes right from the property Thank you for making this a memorable stay for our group 🙌

Patti McCumber

I cannot say enough good things about this property We found ourselves stuck in Colorado Springs after a car issue driving from Illinois to move my daughter back to Arizona State University We made a reservation sitting at the car dealer and we were at the check in desk less than 10 minutes later

Lauren greeted us with a huge smile and immediately made us feel better She provided water and along with Patti, the manager, got us a great room with a large workspace we needed The room is clean, comfortable and very well appointed Lauren even checked on us later to see how we are doing and has given us a late check out to hopefully coincide with our car being ready to roll again in the afternoon We ate in the hotel restaurant, and Lance, the bartender, was wonderful as well! I just cannot say enough good things about this hotel We will be back and I will send everyone I know here if they are traveling through Colorado Springs

Dan Hagenow

My wife and I stayed one night here during our honeymoon, and it was by far the best stay of our trip! There were so many things we enjoyed, the outdoor pool/spa is AMAZING, and includes some beautiful mountains views! We got the concierge package, which included snacks, dinner, and breakfast There are also a bunch of hiking trails you can take advantage of as well right outside of their gate! We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone

Terrible Booked on Bookingcom, no mention of construction in the details or confirmation

Upon arrival, the place was under construction, at 7pm there were construction workers everywhere, swearing profusely, banging walls etc No one was found on the property, did not feel safe and left immediately and found alternate lodging Fortunately was able to convince Bookingcom to give a refund

Scott Pumphrey

Room 3 has a bad slope to it Three plugs in the kitchen don’t even work Space heater is all we had for heating

Water started leaking from the ceiling from the room above us and you can tell where water has done this before by water damage in the kitchen Notified the desk and they said something to the effect that they had it fixed There is a window that doesn’t stay shut Don’t expect to check out early and get a refund, though their site says this Will never stay here again!

Beautiful hidden treasure Calming grounds to walk Rooms are uniquely decorated by inn keeper Sally

A little walk to town but believe me your gonna appreciate the exercise after all the treats you will find there Breakfast served every morning in a charming picnic style basket Homemade quiche, muffins, fresh fruit, juice, milk, and of course fresh coffee

John & Amanda Novak

Blue Skies Inn was beautiful and the perfect location for our short day trips to see sights and of course come home and relax at the end of the day We met Sally who checked us in and was very nice, we tried a few of her restaurant recommendations for lunch and dinner and us and the kids loved them! We can’t forget about the homemade breakfast with some of the best eggs and muffins we have ever had! We also enjoyed being kind of nestled in with nature, and besides the beautiful surroundings, we even saw a deer close to our car the morning we left I highly recommend staying here and we definitely will on our next trip to Manitou Springs!

Shana Dearing

We stayed at this lovely little lodge for three nights and had an awesome stay! Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious We had a two queen pet friendly kitchenette and it was perfect for our family of three and our Boston Terrier We had the most spectacular view of Pikes Peak at this property

Sandy was so sweet and helpful We will be back! Thank you!

Heather RICHARDSON

I never stay in motels, but there wasn’t availability anywhere else in town I took the 2 bedroom suite and it was more like staying in a timeshare condo Very clean and spacious

Great backyard area with tables, firepit,, hot tub, and a great view of the peakLoved it! Will stay here again next trip

Alexander Brown

My wife and I stayed in the lodge room Great bed and atmosphere Good pricing for the size of room

Very clean rooms Only things that were a nuisance were the minimal lighting and the TV They have small multiple lamps around the room that produced very light light And the TV would turn on but the screen colors were mostly purple and had no audio at all Plus they have DVD and VHS movies to watch from the lobby

Katherine King

I would rate this place higher if it wasn’t for the very rude woman who works the front desk She has zero customer service skills or cares about her job And after reading the other reviews on yelp I’m clearly not the first person to experience this with her

Reports of her literally laughing or lying to customers faces when they have come to her with a problem The rest of the staff is lovely The cleaning people and grounds keeper/maintenance man are wonderful She just ruins the whole experience especially since she’s at front desk is the “face of the property”

Amber Solomon

We absolutely LOVE it here!! My favorite thing to do is bike to town (03 miles from the rv park, you’re just over the hill from town) The dog walk is long and foresty! Most do clean up after their pets and if not, they keep the area well kept! They usually always keep bags for your pets

The Staff is dependable, Barb in the office knows what she’s doing She takes great care of EVERYONE here She knows the ins and outs of everything going on here on site, like it’s the back of her hand She even helped me contact an internet carrier when they were giving me a hard time She makes sure all of our mail is organized and safe When i say she handles the business, i mean it! The neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves We’ve only had 1 instanc3 where someone knocked on our door to understand the hookups (the sites are scattered throughtout the trees) This is definitely a more quiet park than others we’ve been to The cabins here are adorable and well kept, the breakfast smells amazing for the bed and breakfast visitors! The tiny homes are modern and super clean, my teenage nieces had so much fun staying on the loft bed If youre staying long-term, be prepared for sap and pollen to cover your vehicles, small price to pay for staying in the woods ♡ The rates are competitive with the one next door but THIS park is open year round I will always recommend a reservation for this place They fill up fast!! You may get lucky with a last minute cancelation but please do not count on that

Ben Kuhnau

Owner Ivan has been an absentee owner living in another state with Barb his cousin running the place into the ground they have been trying to sell the park for many years and caring less and less as time goes on as they near the sale of the park my hopes are the new owners and new management will revive this park to it’s full potential some day soon! Many 5/5 reviews are people staying the weekend in the cabins unaware of the reality of this mismanaged business

This was a really great place to stay! I was looking for a private quiet retreat for myself and it was exactly what I was hoping for The room was beautifully decorated with all the amenities For exploring the area, it was ideal – easy drive to Manitou Springs, Colorado Springs, Woodland Park and other attractions

Everything was contactless, but owners were responsive to text messaging if so needed something

Lisa Searson

We just spent our Anniversary weekend at the Inn, start to finish was amazing! We had a completely contactless check in with very clear directions on how to access the property and our room included in an email, everything was incredibly clean My husband treated me to an add on cake from a local bakery which was beautifully presented and so delicious The process for replenishing in room supplies was so concise and quick

No expense or detail has been spared in the decor of the Inn it is remarkably beautiful It was so quiet all day and all night a perfect place to unwind, reset and be incredibly comfortable Thank you for a wonderful anniversary!

Lindsey Uselton

We recently stayed in the Adobe Suite for 3 nights This place is amazing Super cozy and decorated nicely! The suite is inside of a Pueblo house that contains 3 rooms (suites)

Nestled on the mountain, the suite was close enough to Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs, but secluded enough to offer privacy! I would highly recommend the Adobe Inn & will continue to stay there!

Literally! If we are in the area again, we will definitely be booking a room here!!

Best viewsMy 1st time in Colorado and we stayed at Garden of the Gods resort We stayed in the king’s room which is a great room, the bathroom is huge and has an amazing jetted bathtub The only downside was the construction

We ate at the rocks, and The kissing camels both were delicious and had wonderful service The beach cafe has a Starbucks and the barista is the sweetest lady We loved starting our morning talking with herMy husband and I spent a day at the spa He got a haircut, and facial and I got a 50-minute massage They have a Himalayan salt room which was wonderfulWe did the falconry excursion and it was worth every penny Also, the Royal Gorge Train in canon city is a neat experienceGOG also offers car service for 75$ we used it to take us to the Rabbit Hole downtown and the restaurant has a great atmosphere along with great food and drinksA tip- we took snacks, and water to keep in our room along with coffee for the coffee machine

Aarti Urs

We visited Colorado Springs for a family vacation with two kids (11 and 4) Every single person in this resort went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and most memorable!! Special shout out to the front desk lady Maria, she was extremely caring and welcoming, next shout out if o Michael the valet person who was very nice and made sure to even wait until we open our room and are satisfied with our room (small gesture but makes a big difference!) Concierge lady Sara was so sweet, walked with me to the spa to make sure i get there and get the appointment

Super sweet waitresses Merillye who offered blanket for my toddler when they saw he was cold, entertained him for a while when i had to take a call

John S

My wife and I went there for a late lunch/early dinner The View is incredible, but the food has no flavor We ordered two “rock burgers” hamburgers which they heat up frozen hamburger patties, don’t season them so they don’t have any taste and change $42 ($19

00 a piece) I asked another person eating in the restaurant how his food was and he said his meat was dry and didn’t have any taste If we ever go back, we will just order drinks and enjoy the view

We stayed for 6 nights on a kid-free vacation and couldn’t have been happier with our decision to stay here! After a wonderful breakfast we found ourselves just sitting and staring at the view of Pikes Peak It never got old Then we would venture out to explore so many things that weren’t too far away (many which were recommended by Anne Marie) and return after dinner to once again sit and stare at the view

Sure, it’s a little off the beaten path, but it was a perfect location for relaxing and accessing all the different places we wanted to see The hosts, Anne Marie & Dane, are new to the B&B business, but they are sure to be some of the best hosts with the best B&B in the whole Colorado Springs/Woodland Park area very quickly

klmullet

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Peak Suite! Beautiful views from our private patio of Pikes Peak Anne Marie and Dane are kind, accommodating hosts, who go above and beyond Ann Marie Is an outstanding chef, cooking made from scratch, delicious breakfasts for us each morning

It is located at the top of a 1 mile long dirt road, remote, peaceful, and beautiful setting We had the pleasant experience of getting snowed in, with historical snowstorm that dumped 20 inches of snow overnight, in mid May Even though the snow canceled our trail race at nearby Mueller State Park, it just made our stay even more adventurous – we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting to enjoy a snowstorm! Dane gave us rides up and down in his Jeep, when our car wasn’t able to make it up through the snowHighly recommend Pikes Peak Paradise, you will not be disappointed!PS – for runners Perfect 3 mile loop on Coyote Trail road, all dirt, no traffic, incredible views

My wife and I stayed for six nights in the Liebling Suite and had a wonderful time The suite is the only one on the main level and has its own private balcony above the others We napped multiple times in the afternoons on that deck to truly the best mountain view we’ve ever had

The room was quiet and had a jacuzzi and a fireplace to make it relaxing and cozy We were comfortable the entire time If you can snag this suite, I highly recommend itThe new owners, Anne Marie and Dane, were exceptionally kind and truly made every effort to make our stay special There’s a breakfast menu with multiple great options each morning, and we didn’t have a breakfast we didn’t love Quiche, avocado toast, fruit, hash, pancakes, bacon—you name it—Anne Marie had it ready If you’re planning on going into nearby Woodland Park or Manitou Springs, or trekking up to the top of Pike’s Peak, there were always great lean protein options for more active daysPerhaps the most remarkable thing about Pike’s Peak Paradise is how removed from civilization it feels while still having every amenity you could want and only being 20 or so minutes from where you want to go We visited a beautiful wolf sanctuary where you can pet and howl with the wolves, Garden of the Gods, and Manitou Springs during our stay and still made it back in the afternoons to relax and rest There’s even a pizza place that’ll deliver to it despite it being off the beaten path To illustrate just how good the view is, the local pizza delivery boy said on arrival, “I’ve never seen anything like this in my life!”Last, seriously consider their upgrade offers We purchased the Three Course Dinner for Two option mostly on a whim We’ve always wanted to have a private chef meal, and we thought it would be a great opportunity, though we really didn’t know what to expect That meal absolutely blew us away We are still talking about it The dinner was made by Chef James who has an impeccable resume and who was equally kind and fun while making us what may be the best meal we’ve ever had All courses were worth writing home about, the porkbelly (chicharonnes) starter I think winning the evening We were so floored, the day before we left we went to his food truck called Red Diamond Gastro Truck to get a less elevated though still remarkable lunch The meals Chef James cooked for us were the best food we had on the trip You won’t be disappointed When we go back, and we will, we’ll buy that upgrade again, and frankly would pay more if asked It’s that goodStay here Not a dime we spent felt wasted We drank wine in the evenings, laughed it up with Anne Marie, spent hours in the jacuzzi looking out at one of nature’s greatest marvels, and returned home energized There truly is not another place like it around

We absolutely loved this cabin It was perfect for our family (with two kids, 6yrs and 18months) and had everything we needed to feel right at home (including a very nice pack n play with 2 sets of sheets)

The time and effort put into the instructions for the cabin was very helpful and made our stay very easy and relaxing There was also an entire binder full of information about the cabin, history of the area, wildlife to watch for, activities and food for the surrounding areasDuring our stay there was a chance of some heavy rain/flash flooding one afternoon, we received an email from the owners explaining the warnings and how it could impact us The email also included great detail of all the supplies the cabin was equipped with in the event of a power outage and other helpful tips The bad weather missed us but we never worried about it because of the great communicationOverall, the cabin is absolutely beautiful and the owners attention to detail made our stay perfect We can’t wait for our next visit!

If you’re looking for the perfect cabin getaway this is it! My husband and I have been back twice already, and honestly I cried when it came time to leave this past time We have so many good memories here The hot tub is the best spot for stargazing, the bathroom is incredible, & we love sitting in front of the fireplace

The cabin is so well maintained and stocked with all the kitchen things you’ll need We ended up cooking every meal there in the kitchen or using the grill outside This is the perfect couples getaway & we can’t wait to go back!!

The view was really amazing I would’ve given it a five star but there was a few details left out The week that we stayed at this cabin it was in the upper 90s and the cabin does not have any air-conditioning

The details does not say there is or is not air conditioning Nowadays any resort I’ve ever stayed at AC is a given We had our elderly grandfather with us so we had to make a few changes in our itinerary There was also a sewage smell which we gathered was from a septic concern they were already aware of Overall the cabin is beautiful and the owners do accommodate the best they can
