My husband I had come to St Augustine for a honeymoon getaway If you want a place that is so incredibly relaxing and the ENTIRE staff is top-notch? Look no further! This Bed and Breakfast is a charming and very hospitable place to come to for a vacation

The rooms are beautiful and smell so good! The breakfast changes each morning you’re there and is delicious! Something I would recommend to any couple, regardless of the reason for your stay

Christina Fleischman

The best place to stay for couples looking to get away! The ladies were all so welcoming and made it feel like home The room we stayed in was the Kirby room and it was clean and inviting Outside seating was so pretty to relax after a long day of walking and there was a wine happy hour – amazing

Breakfast was devine and filling The b&b is also located within walking distance of most if not all of historic downtown and it was so quiet My fiancee and I will absolutely be visiting this b&b again in the future!

Kathy Cornell’s

The room sizes are great and the location was walking distance to everything downtown The pool was very nice and the breakfast was very convenient but just about the same everydayThe cleanliness of the room was not what I anticipated or what was described on the website

There was a dirty pan left in the microwave that was really disgusting It clearly had been left there for quite a while Also, I agree with the other reviewers regarding the $2500 parking fee per day, even if you park your own carWhy not just add this cost into the room as I am sure the breakfast is? It isn’t as if there is limited space for parking or only a parking garage availableIf we return to St Augustine, we will look for a different hotel and not return to this Hilton

Rachel de Castro

My family and I just left this hotel after a week stay We had the most amazing experience here The rooms are large and perfect for staying with kids, the hotel was clean and well kept and the staff was exceptional

Great location, very close to downtown st Aug Walking is doable and lots of nice restaurants/stops along the way The front desk was always helpful and friendly The hotel manager, Terry was amazing and went above and beyond He hosted a social cocktail hour at the hotel and personally greeted and served the guests! We could not have asked for a better experience We will most definitely be back and will be referring friends and family to this hotel!

Tuo Luo

My room is great Overall it’s clean, spacious and equipped with newer tech The microwave oven is dirty though and there are water left in the coffee maker, hope the cleaning could be more detailed

Lovely lobby dinning area, but many people smoke on the balcony during breakfast time make outdoor desks less favorable I don’t like the mandatory valet parking($25) and find it a bit inconvenient Still, I will choose this location if visit St Augustine again

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and it was perfect at the Bayfront Marin! The room was gorgeous and our private balcony overlooking the river provided a cooling breeze, many hours of relaxation and breathtaking sun and moon rises! The staff was so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! We loved the happy hour selections served on our balcony and they catered to my gluten free lifestyle so courteously for happy hour AND breakfasts The location was also ideal Walked to everything in the historic district and rode bikes over to the beach

When back in St Augustine again we will absolutely choose this place AND this exact room!

Kelly Gilson

I hesitated to share this less than favorable review but in the end, I feel I must This was our second visit The first time 3 years ago we were married at the Bayfront Marin House

Our experience in the beachfront cottage with Marina hosting/managing us was nothing short of amazing This year we stayed at the Bayfront bed and breakfast to celebrate our Anniversary It was lackluster to say the least I requested towels and cleaning but came back to find that it was not done My husband had to call a second time to request it towels and cleaning was not done in the 3 nights we stayed The room was quite humid The air didn’t seem to work properly We missed the Happy hour with the other guests as well as the personalized experience we had the last time we visited The Bayfront is close to our hearts It makes me sad that it has changed this much in a few short years

Kan McCray

This was my first B&B stay and it exceeded all my expectations The room was clean and very well decorated The jets in the shower are heaven sent

The fireplace is a wonderful touch and I look forward to coming back in the winter to try it out The location is perfect and in walking distance of almost everything we wanted to do The view of the bay is beautiful I enjoyed the breakfast and evening happy hour The staff was extremely friendly and the free parking made my life easier This is now my new favorite vacation destination!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon hereWe booked a week-stay in a “King Suite with Shared Veranda” This room was incredible

The bathroom was super spacious with a walk-in shower The bed was super comfy and cozy and we also had a separate sitting room with a kitchenette, table and two chairs These rooms are absolutely romanticIt’s really cool how the property is set up too All the little houses/cottages are sort of spread out and then in the center of the property there’s a cool little bar, pool, and fire pits spread around It’s such an excellent place to hang out with the one you love and sip really yummy cocktailsAs far as location goes, you’re in walking distance of everything you want Easily walk downtown and grab a bite or take a stroll over to Ice Plant/Distillery (For transparency sake, we did Uber to Ice Plant)I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t just love staying at The Collector Inn

Frank Gomes

This is definitely a special place for us Great customer service at the Collector They are so friendly and always ready to help in any way they can

The ground’s are beautiful, with a lush tropical feel We especially love the mixture of palms and large bird of paradise’s Our room is so comfortable and charming We love sitting on the balconies or hanging out in the courtyard by the fire rings There is also a specialty bar on site that makes awesome drinks by a top grade bartender Plus, St Augustine is a great city to experience history, museums, shopping, water tours, trolley service, distillery’s, wineries and great food It’s so easy to walk around and just enjoy the beauty and atmosphere This is a place we come back to as often as possible

Lindzie Smarch

This Luxury Inn is nothing short of amazing—pure, casual elegance The grounds are welcoming with a mix of historic charm and modern amenities The staff is excellent: attentive, pleasant, and available when needed

The king suite we stayed in was quite spacious and exceptionally clean The courtyard was inviting with outdoor seating and fire pits The pool, although small, was well-kept and refreshing on a hot summer day The breakfast offered each morning was sufficient: pastries, bagels, fresh fruit, cheeses; somewhat lacking compared to the standard of everything else at the Inn Each room is equipped with a nespresso machine, a wonderful start to the day! There is a bar on site which offers an early and a late happy hour The location of the Inn is superb; it is less than a mile from all of the main attractions in the Historic District Overall, we had an incredible stay and will certainly be back again!

Excellent spot!! Right in the middle of downtown St Augustine and a very close walk to most things that will keep you busy for multiple days The rooms are very nice and gym too

Breakfast is excellent! They are small so get your reservations early as they book fast and we’ll in advance! Employees are extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with

vince lozano

It’s a cool place with a great location You can walk just about everywhere Unfortunately our first night, there were no sheets on the beds

They corrected that the next day when I went to the front desk The safe didn’t work and called the front desk She said someone would come up, they never did Now we just ran out of toilet paper Sheets and toilet paper are pretty basic things in my opinion Not a deal breaker, but does make me scratch my head

Alyssa King

The hotel itself is gorgeous The architecture and finishes are a worthy sight I can’t speak for every room, but 102 was updated and modernThe location is unbeatable You step out onto A1A and see the bay front You walk around to the nearest alley and you are in the historic shopping strip You are within walking distance of everything importantAs I’m sure you are aware it’s expensive As it has every right to be The staff are remarkable and courteous The hotel is immaculate They have a Starbucks on site Their breakfast is the absolute best GET THE CROISSANT Every Time I am a Diamond member, so I used my points to get a free stay After food and valet I paid about $140If you have the money, stay here If you have points to use, stay here No contest

—–The next morning—–Me: I’d like to place an order for pick upFront desk: unfortunately, that’s not possible You have to place the order yourself and there’s no way for us to communicate with the restaurantPlease educate your staff about this process!

Jeffrey Lewitsky

Very conveniently located of I95 and not far from shops and restaurants (even walking distance) The front desk worker who checked us in in the evening was very nice and so were both the evening and morning Bistro workers The lobby is expansive and the pool area large and very attractive

The rooms also were large and there was plenty of parking The 24 hour gym was a good size too

Josh

Now

I won’t post the photo because I’ve had some time to cool off but, the lady playing on her phone behind the desk completely ignoring everyone who came in was not a good start I didn’t say anything but I did sit there for a good 20 mins before she decided to turn off Judge Judy and check me in The hotel full of baby Turkish wedding guests running around until 2 am wasn’t the hotels fault but still wasn’t the most pleasant experience Otherwise, nice facility and friendly staff (except 1)

Tiffany Peterdozzi

The rooms are EXTREMELY spacious We had a family of four in a double queen without rubbing elbows Breakfast was plentiful (though of you’re gluten free plan to pack your own) and coffee was 24hrs a day

Refrigerator was plenty big enough for all leftovers from trips into St Augustine as well as a big case of water we brought along Laundry facilities downstairs The pool area was small but very cute and well maintained Located away from hustle and bustle, but close to several gas stations and Publix We would definitely stay here again

Kali Blayz

One of the worst stays I’ve had! My mother is a GM of a Hilton where we live and I know how a hotel stay is suppose to be We respected the 4 day without housekeeping due to cdc but on the 3rd day the housekeeping manager comes and asks if we need service but my significant other was sleeping so I told her the next day we would need it instead During this stay it was difficult to even get clean towels after 2-3 days

And on the 4th day I called down for housekeeping and had to argue with them because the house keeping manager lied and told them she serviced our room but that was not the case She lied each time they asked her Surprised to see a manager lying like this and them making us feel like we were lying I was extremely upset There was no sugar for coffee for 3 days and only hazelnut creamer one day The breakfast was the same every day and just not good There were such basics I would get at a cheaper hotel The way we were treated was horrible and to pay all that money for an entire week was such a waste I could’ve had a more comfortable stay at a cheaper hotel and that’s a sad statement to make about a home2 suites I should’ve saved money and booked for what I actually paid for

Nicole Holloway

My husband and I were HIGHLY disappointed with this stay Upon arrival, we were greeted by the receptionist, which advised us that we weren’t able to have a room key due to the system malfunctioning That meant anytime we needed to get to our room, the pool (Which was disgusting), or anywhere we would need a key, we had to wait for someone to let us in

There was no WIFI While being walked to our room, we noticed that there were blue labels on each room door that had been cleaned, ours did not have one We were told that our room HAD been cleaned, but they “ran out of stickers” We get settled into the room and realize that whomever “cleaned” our room, did a horrible job, the refrigerator was nasty There were still items in the room from the previous occupant The toilet’s water pressure was so low that flushing was more of a burden than anything Spots on the carpet let us say this place did not put its best foot forward This is unfortunate because this place has a ton of potential As I stated before, the pool area was a mess, tables were dirty, trash overflowed, and trash was on the ground They had no extra towels, washcloths, pillows, or blankets To have paid almost $30000 dollars for a 1 night’s stay and to have so many issues was disgraceful and frankly, not worth the trouble AT ALL We expected so much more I would NOT suggest this place to anyone Go at your own risk! You’ve been warned!

I stayed at this hotel May 7-10 while in town for a college graduation The entire staff was professional, courteous and friendly Brandon at the front desk was extremely helpful when I needed to switch rooms due to a plumbing issue and Amanda at the bar made the best Manhattan I have ever had

My stay included a free buffet breakfast which was excellent each morning and our server Ringo provided excellent service The pool was clean and refreshing, the shuttle to Saint Augustine was convenient and the bar was comfortable, on point and reasonably priced The rooms need to be updated The bathrooms in the rooms lacked exhaust fans and the toilets in both of the rooms I stayed in were old and needed to be replaced

Kelly Fodiman

We were pleasantly surprised! The staff was incredibly friendly at the front desk, wide open spaces, spacious room, very clean and comfortable The food and atmosphere was great in the lounge area, breakfast buffet was delicious, gym looked very nice and it was fun eating at caddy shack just 100 steps away! We really enjoyed the whole experience but having a warm, kind and friendly staff made our trip even better!! Thank you 😊

Madison Vick

For a four star hotel I was expecting it to be much nicer The area, and lobby were very neat, but the rooms were very dated They were all full beds, the air didn’t work, no microwaves in the room, no fan in the bathroom, and when I came into the bathroom there were little white facial hairs on the counter around the sink

The rooms just really need some updating

This place was like staying at a Motel 6 in 1995 The only thing positive about this place is the location if you’re traveling on 95 & just needed a place to sleepPool- In a tiny room that felt like a sauna

The pool was literally ice cold A whisper was the loudest echoBuilding- The carpets in the hallway are disgusting Covered in stains & looks like they have never been cleaned since they’ve been installed The walls are paper thin I could hear the TV in the room next doorRooms- the AC in our room worked when it wanted too We woke up at 3am sweating The window in our room leaked, it was raining while we stayed here House keeping walked in the day we were leaving Told & showed me the paper she had said that we had already checked outBreakfast- There was what seemed to be a 16 year old working the Breakfast on his own There was no breakfast when we went down at 8:40am There were about 30 people sitting in there waiting on breakfast & coffeeI DO NOT recommend this hotel I have been an IHG member since 2014 & NEVER experienced a stay like this This makes me think of possibly switching hotel chains

Outstanding Customer Service Very clean Our room was in mint condition

Walking distance from the beach We loved that we could borrow whatever we needed for the beach for free including a wagon to toll it all there Complimentary breakfast was excellent Also nice indoor heated pool to use in case of rain It can be included or semi-open depending on the weather We couldn’t wish for anything better THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Diamela Pastorello

1 The manager did not let anyone check in until 3:05 pm Once he started checking in, at least 20 people started lining up like sheep and had to wait for at least 30 minutes

No accommodations at all…2 The hallway was not vacuumed and full of spots3 The shower did not work The receptionist did his best to accommodate us, however, it is unacceptable to see this level of maintenance4 Breakfast was poor- only a few ingredients ( ran out of turkey sausages before 8 am)The personal were kind but you can see that they were understaffedFor the priced we paid ( over $200), I expected a better hotel- it was more a Motel 6 for the price of Hilton

Great Staff, Uncomfortable Beds, Bugs In MuffinsFirst, let me say that the people here were really nice The hotel itself is in good condition and the rooms are large and well set up But the bed was absolutely terrible

We booked a 1 bedroom with a king and it was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on After the first night, I called and told the front desk to ask for a mattress topper or to see what could be done and was told they didn’t have any but could give me a couple of extra blankets, which I had to go retrieve myself and which didn’t help but the lady was nice and apologetic about the bed They said they were also out of rooms other than one downgraded studio During breakfast, my daughter was about to open a muffin and noticed that inside the packaging there were bugs crawling around I saw several people come grab those muffins before my daughter and go up to their rooms, so hopefully, they noticed The staff was quick to remove them once I pointed this out and everything else on the line was clean In summary I’d say the staff were great as far as being friendly The bed was so bad though My neck and back were torn up after staying here for 4 nights on vacation I went back home from vacation feeling beat up because of it If something could have been done on the bed situation, the rating would be much higher, but when the bed prevents any rest and relaxation on vacation, it’s something I can’t just gloss over Now I have to try to recover from my vacation while going back to the grind

Krystle Kerr

My husband and I stopped in Jacksonville on the way back from South Carolina with our newborn and this hotel was amazing from top to bottom! The staff are so friendly and accommodating from the front desk to housekeeping The hotel is clean, modern and located right off 95 We are loyal Marriott Bonvoy members because of properties like this one! We will definitely be back for our next road trip!

James Whaley

I spent a “staycation” here and the staff were excellent I had a small mixup happen and the cleaning staff for some reason thought I was checked out The cleaning staff threw away all the food in the fridge and bagged my clothes and other items

This would have easily dropped my rating to 1 star had the hotel not tried to reconcile They were going to refund the food, but I requested an additional day for free and they were able to oblige the request Even though the cleaning staff did not speak, or acted like they didn’t speak any english the front desk staff are very professional and considerateI would stay again and recommend BUT only if able to receive a discount somehow Being a military vet and receiving a reduced rate helped to make the choice to stay here easier I would not pay the exorbitant non-discounted rate for this hotel though It’s not an over the top amount, there’s just better places to stay at equivalent full retail price

Everyone from the cleaning crew to the front desk made our stay wonderful! It was nice to have a room with regular floors not the carpet that has been in every holiday inn I have ever stayed at Every room has a balcony Our balcony had a couple of chairs and an end table The stay was perfect!!

The staff was super friendly and always made sure we had what we needed The check in and out process as well as parking was extremely easy and convenient The pool is a little small but the outside area is nice and relaxing

Our room was very comfortable including the bed The shower was a little odd with no full door or curtain so the floor got a bit wet, but they give you plenty of towels so it was no big deal There are plenty of options for breakfast, and the fitness are looked great but I didn’t use it There are some cool bars and restaurants in walking distance to the hotel and the downtown area is about a 20 minute walk This is great location and we highly recommend it when staying in St Augustine

We stayed in November of 2021 and have been meaning to write this review The hotel advertised that it was recently renovated, and parts of it were but it did not feel like a new or recently renovated hotel First, we arrived very late at night after a long drive and upon arriving in our room discovered that the bathroom floor was dirty, the toilet had not been cleaned (there was visible fecal matter in the toilet bowl), and hair on the bathroom vanity

The room (and the hotel, generally) has a musty smell to it They were unable to change our rooms because of occupancy and had no one to clean the room at that time We understood it was late and resolved that it would be addressed in the morning as it was approximately 2:00 am at that point My wife cleaned the room with some wipes she had brought with her The A/C was another matter, I normally like to sleep in a cold room and set it to 68 but it never got below about 72 in the room and would even turn off I think the A/C was set to do this The following morning the manager told us that he would issue a credit ($50 or about 1/3 of the previous night’s room cost) for the inconvenience and the room would be deep cleaned We left for the day to explore St Augustine and when we arrived the room still smelled musty, the shower was improved but still had visible mold, however, the toilet and sink vanity had been cleaned We were only there for a couple of nights and decided to just stick it out for our stay Although the rooms were refreshed the A/C is definitely older and the room we were in showed signs of wear The front desk staff was nice, but our stay was awful I honestly would not recommend it, there are other, better properties to stay at in St Augustine

Really loved this place, my wife was ill so we didn’t get out much but this is a fabulous hotel with a great location and lovely staff Check in was easy, the staff were friendly and the pool area was clean and tidy with plenty of seating Complimentary breakfast was ok with toast, bagels, cereals, omelettes and breakfast croissants

Literally a five minute walk over the bridge in to the heart of historic St Augustine but that means the location is really peaceful Good price for a modern clean and fresh contemporary IHG hotel Well done!

Bed: Extremely comfortable Location: one block from the beach, quiet laid back area, with plenty of restaurants around, but not too much hustle Staff: very kind

Breakfast: Very good, options for vegetarians: (Blue diamond Almond milk) Quaker brand oatmeal, cheerios, scrambled eggs Rooms, clean and modern I actually like that they only clean rooms on request I just asked them to do my floors every other day because of all the sand, and they did it immediately and also went above what I asked like changing out towels Very friendly((Only reason for the four stars is the pool was not heated, and I thought I read that it is And the hot tub was first, not so hot, and not so full, then taped off as “broken” Also, my suggestion would be to put an “Adults only” sign on the hot tub, once it is fixed, because when I did go in it, three young kids followed me in Translation: lots of pee So I immediately got out Kids aren’t stressed, they don’t need a hot tub, please reserve it for adults, that’s what a hot tub is for For stressed adults to unwind Not a place for kids, because they don’t need it, and we all know bodily function kids do when they get in warm water))But overall great experience!

Room was humid and the AC didn’t really cool the room, had to push the blower on for air circulation Issues with door Late night check in front desk barely acknowledged us

Hotel including the room was nicely decorated Beds were comfortable Pillows plush and comfortable but more throw pillow dimensions than a typical bed pillow More stars if not for price, we were told late night check in prices were higher than their advertised prices, in this case almost double the advertised price Even with issues, if they were at their advertised price this would have been 4-5 stars

At first I was a little frustrated because online said that check in was at 3p When I called because I arrived early, to see if I could check in sooner, they told me not only could I not come before 3p but I needed to wait until 4p due to being short staffed I ended up arriving shortly after 3 and they had just got a room open for us

This hotel was nice at appearance Our air in our room made it feel very humid Being aware of short staff, I tried to troubleshoot myself but after no luck, we were moved quickly to another room After switching rooms, we couldn’t get out without forcing the handle and wiggling it multiple times We went for breakfast and came back and couldn’t get in (when they switched our rooms, the door was propped open already, weird but it was clean so I didn’t think twice) After notifying the desk clerk, she told us it gets stuck sometimes and to wiggle it to get in Eventually, she came to open it for us Overall the stay was ok I like traveling to hotels where the doors are inside, unlike some of the other best westerns I love the upgrade
