Room was nice enough and well maintained You can tell it’s an older hotel that’s been refurbished into a Fairfield Inn and even though some rooms are full ocean view, you will be disappointed if you were wanting to open a window/door to actually hear the ocean as there are no balconies That is probably why it has more reasonable rates though too so it’s a trade off

The breakfast –awesome! Lobby feels disjointed from the motel and only one working elevator at the time but I did like the added security of needing a key card to access the upper floors from within the elevator Beach was just steps away and heated pool (outside) was actually nice and warm as it should be for cooler weather swimming (Beds and pillows could be a tad more comfortablea little firmer than most hotels in same price range)

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a very long time! Great location! Right on the beach, easy access to the beach Pool was heated The hotel itself is extremely clean

Our room was amazing! Breakfast was provided and safety is their top priority and it’s shown! The house keeping manager (man) I guess he was the manager but he was extremely helpful and helped us with the luggage cart all the way to our room and make sure we were comfortable and was extremely friendly! I give him 5 stars! Everyone was very friendly that worked there too! I would give this hotel a million stars, we will be back!

Rebecca Smith

Loved the location of this hotel and we absolutely loved that we could get ready and walk to the beach Very very nice for a family with kids! Breakfast was pretty good they had oatmeal, good muffins, cereal, and fruit every morning They also had other hot breakfast stuff but wasn’t up our ally

The reason I gave this hotel only 4 stars is because we stayed here for a whole week and normally I don’t let room service come in when we stay in a hotel but we did this time because we needed fresh towelswe’ll my sons 5t spaw patrol swim shirt that matches his swim suit came up missing I called the front desk and asked if it fell off the hanger and got mixed in with the towels bit they said no one found it in the laundry I checked back a few times but it was never found So that was extremely disappointing and frustrating Nothing else came uprising but we didn’t leave a lot in there So if you stay here it’s definitely nice and comfortable and clean but I would put the do not disturb sign up for the whole stay!!!

Had an amazing stay at this Hilton property All of the staff was welcoming and personable Especially the gentleman upon check in who’s name I unfortunately cannot remember

The hotel has so much to offer with two pools, a rec area and two fire pits Not to mention a delicious breakfast! Shout out to the cook(s)! The time spent at the hotel was just as fun as being on the town The room was small and cute with a beautiful gulf view that never ceased to amaze me Highly recommend this hotel and definitely plan on staying here again

This hotel seemed promising online but do not be deceivedThis hotel is in desperate need of renovation Our first room had huge tears in the carpet and a large stain on the floor near the bed

With peeling wallpaper and Luke warm water in the bathroomWe called and mentioned this, and the manager moved us rooms the next night; however, this room was equally as bad Light fixtures were destroyed, and light switches on the wall were almost an electrical hazard Our new room also had an awesome view marred by a very dirty window To top it all off: mold in the bathroomApparently, the whole hotel had no hot water, and the response was, “Engineering is aware and is working to fix the problem” Well, after two, luke-warm (and at times freezing cold) showers, it wasn’t fixed The swimming pool was warmer than the shower, and that’s sadI’ve stayed in many Hilton hotels, and this one did not even meet the bar of many other budget hotel chainsThe hotel restaurant and bar was average at best We ordered champagne, and it was served barely cold because “Nobody ever orders it” The fish was undercooked and very fish tasting, and steak was served medium-well (when it was ordered medium-rare)A bottle of wine was brought to our room Without a corkscrew Fail again and one couldn’t be found to open the bottle for us anywhereThe staff was very friendly and quite happy to help and was accommodating in spite of all the problems It seems like some basic hospitality training would be needed for management and staff so they can live up to the Hilton name that is proudly displayed on the front, Including the proud Hilton price tag accompanying our two night staySave your cash and stay away from this expensive and underwhelming hotel

Crystal Torres

We had a great stay Staff was all friendly We had breakfast at the restaurant a couple of times and were happy

My sons loved the outdoor pool and the indoor pool with the games as well We did encounter TV issues but as soon as we reported it, maintenance came in to address it immediately There was one night we had very rude neighbors who decided to blast their music at 2am, called front desk and they took care of it Would definitely recommend this hotel

My family and I travel often and we were looking forward to our stay here I did lots of research to confirm that the property was smoke free before we booked a top floor room with balcony Turns out that even though they say smoking isn’t allow on balconies they refuse to enforce this policy

After providing proof of the room under us smoking they told us “they would have to contact the manager to see what could be done” Nothing was done They also allowed smoking near the pool area and at the front entrance We were unable to enjoy the amenities we paid for And our daughter, who has severe allergies, left sick We will never return to this property and I recommend you look for better accommodations

Scott Katzman

Amazing location and awesome staff We absolutely loved our balcony water view The room was huge

Bed was very firm I loved it, my wife not so much The interior furniture was very uncomfortable, huge disappointment And, the pool being closed for construction that was not happening seemed like it could have been managed better No reason to close the pool when the workers are focused on the front of the hotel Breakfast had a very “granola” feel, turkey sausage and other similar stuff Couldn’t even score some bad scrambled eggs

Gretchen Clarkson

We spent one night here to be closer to the airport before flying back home early in the morning After arriving home a couple hours after checking out, my teenage son realized he left his wallet We called the hotel immediately

The housekeeping manager easily found it as our room had not been cleaned yet A family member in Ft Walton went and picked the wallet up for us When they received it, it was empty except for his driver’s license and bank card When I inquired about the nearly $400 in cash, the front desk attendant told me the wallet was given to the asst manager empty and put into the safe Watch out for this place since their staff was so quick to steal money from a kid with no remorse or care I definitely wouldn’t want housekeeping in my room at this hotel!

So so clean and new ! I love the layout ! The breakfast is great ! Employees are awesome and you can tell they take great pride in keeping this place nice ! My only one small complaint is that you can’t leave the fan going on the zone line When that thing kicks off it’s like so quiet and you can hear everything I will definitely rebook here but next time I will prob purchase a fan for our room for some white noise

Thank you for the wonderful week

Valerie Dixon

Stay at your own risk!!! This is a flea bag, horrible the bed was nasty, dirty, with hair and not clean, filthy bathroom, baseboard missing in the room A front desk guy on third shift woke me and my family up at 12 am

and told me we better knock it off and do not keep up any noise talking, walking or anything along with other rude comments The man was very mean disrespectful, rude and falsely accused my family and I of talking, walking and running to much in the room when we were sleep He had the wrong room and would not even listen to what I had to say The hotel should be cleaner especially during COVID The workers need to be nicer to customers who pay their salary because if we do not come to stay they would not be in business and closed We were so upset and could not go back to sleep I called the manager Monday and told him about the horrible experience and he told me he would call me back Tuesday but never did Today is Thursday 3 days later which shows he does not care about good customer service, how we were treated and the cleanliness of their rooms We paid over $200 to be treated bad, disrespected, and stay in a filthy room I do not appreciate being talked to and disrespected like a child when we were asleep and did nothing wrong The walls are so thin you can hear everything The clerk did not want us talking, walking or anything which is ridiculous and I will never stay at a Hilton again I have been a member a couple of years and never had a problem with noise complaints, but we will spend our money somewhere else and never come back to this hotel I felt like I was being harassed for no apparent reason and ruined my Mothers day trip my husband gave me

Tamara Green

This hotel is a great option if you are looking to stay in Ft Walton but aren’t looking to spend a fortune on an oceanfront resort It is a short drive to the public beach access areas and only 10-15 minutes to DestinThe hotel appears brand new

The decor is very modern and everything is in great shape! They even have a pool table in the lobby The rooms are also modern, but also minimalistic One thing to note-the room did not have a closet or anywhere to hang clothes other than a few hooksOur only complaint was that the heating and air system would not run the fan continuously Once the room was at the set temperature, everything shut off leaving the room very quiet Unfortunately, that quietness allows you to hear everything elseoutside cars, the neighbors in the rooms next to you, etc We always run the fan while staying at hotels for white noise and were disappointed this hotel didn’t have that

I was able to view different room decors and pick the one for my taste The view was wonderful, but the water was too cold to go in You have to pay a extra cleaning fee so the longer you stay the better cost wise

I would suggest bringing your food since you have a full kitchen and It can save you from going out to eat I didn’t like the late check-in time 4:00 and the early checkout time 10:00 I attended a beach wedding in front of the Breakers

Emily A

The rooms were exactly what you’d expect on a beach vacation and were great for our purposes We had two very minor complaints: the elevators were sketchy and the Breakers only allows two chairs and one umbrella per reservation no matter how many rooms are in your rental It would make more sense to have two rooms and one umbrella per room because the rentals with more than one bedroom obviously have more than 2 people in them

Other than that, it was a great stay!

Susan Fischer

What a relaxing time if you absolutely love the beach The condos are beautiful and luxurious The beach is out the door and over the walkway

The beach is private for those staying at the resort The beach is beautiful white sand, and the Gulf is a relaxing dip compared to the ruggedness of the ocean waves Umbrellas and chairs are supplied by the resort for the beach, and they are placed and removed by the resort workers If you aren’t so much a beach person there is also pools, shuffleboard, gym, sauna If you are one for cooking for yourself, of course, there is always the kitchen in the condo, but if you like to grill your food, there is a picnic type area with tables and benches and gas grills to cook Bring your swimsuits and your food and you are good to go Sunrise and sunsets are the best I highly recommend this place to anyone needing a vacation or even just a rejuvenation

Staff was very friendly and helpfulCheck in was at 4 but the front desk associate was able to get us into a room as soon as we arrived at 11The hotel lobby was very nice and the pool was huge

The hot tub was enjoyable as wellThe view was the main reason I booked at this location and it did not disappoint The balcony was nice to sit on during the evenings and it was overall very peaceful and sereneWould definitely stay here again

Johanna B.

Aside from the stunning beach front location and fun lazy river style pool, this hotel was a disappointment While pool was a nice size, we never saw any hotel staff outside cleaning the area or pool and it showed Also people would reserve chairs with their towels and belongings hours in advance – really? Beach was very nice – soft sand, clean, and just steps from pool area

Overall the hotel is in need of a deep clean and refresh For the price we paid, we expected more out of the room and property Our ocean front balcony room overlooked all of the mechanical equipment of the hotel and we heard a constant hum from the fans and smelled whatever the restaurant was frying or cooking at the time We made a conscious effort to look past that to enjoy the views of the beach and pool Our room needed a bathroom overhaul – dirty caulking in and around the tub and a flimsy old shower curtain The tub faucet was hanging out of the wall Linens were as cheap as they come No housekeeping service or trash removal during our 3 night stay Breakfast was a decent variety for the buffet but food quality was average at best Breakfast servers were very friendly however If we come back to the area we’d likely try a different property

Miya

A great and relaxed resort to stay at I wish I would have took there names, so I could actually put their names on here for good recognition All I know is, I checked in around 12-12:30pm on 3/12/22 and there were two really nice ladies that took good care of me and also provided great customer service

They made us feel very welcomed The bartender and my server (she had red hair), were also awesome as well I mean the whole staff that I had an encounter with was friendly and provided great customer service I don’t think I’ve ever had an amazing experience at any hotels/resort until I came here Definitely will be returning soon

My family really enjoyed our weekend getaway to Ft Walton Beach Our hotel stay was wonderful from check-in with Raven to checkout with Nicole

They were so polite and helpful Special thanks to the housekeeping staff for doing an immaculate job maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel The hotel sits on the beach (an added plus) and there is not one trace of sand, and it smells so clean when you walk in There was a full hot breakfast each morning, and fresh lemonade and coffee available throughout the day Even the gentleman in charge of the beach chairs and umbrella rentals was so nice and generous We appreciate your wonderful hospitality!

Alex Park

Very good location and excellent staff Nicole was such professional for customer care with her smile Parking lot and overall service were flawless

However a bit high pricing compared to the building conditions I am willing to revisit when it’s off season Note Guests need to recognize how it will be challenging to keep the rooms and aisle cleaned because of nature of location next to the beach My 2 cents

Adrianna Marion

Overall our stay was great…conveniently located on the beach (+++++) The room was clean and the bed was comfy Super in love with the bathroom

The complimentary breakfast did not let us down! The staff was super friendly and accommodating The only negative for me is the smell of animal upon entry, but fortunately the room did not smell like it

My family and I stayed for a night fortunately there were rooms available during the weekend The room was nice, accommodations were also appreciated One of the reasons we had chosen this hotel is because it is pet friendly, we were visiting for a short time to see family, they have a dog who they would bring along to visit

At the time of our stay it was our last night and we did not want to go out and spend more money, so we had decided we would hang out in our room The woman at the front desk who was working at the time went above and beyond to let us know that any damage done from the dog in the room we would be charged for Completely understandable However she had informed my husband when he was leaving the hotel, I also had gone to the front to request a new key at the time he was gone The front desk did not seem welcoming She informed me about the additional charge if there were any damage done, I explained the dog would not be staying the night The front desk seemed very annoyed and very unfriendly, completely different from when we had first checked in I’m not sure if she had previous experiences with guests who fought against the fact that there were additional fees for damage, or what But she definitely did not make the hotel seem pet friendly Upon checking out the following day the front desk host was very nice Not sure if she was having an off evening but that is my only complaint

Chelsea Godwin

Awesome place to stay We only stayed one night when going from our Gulf Shores vacation to our Destin vacation but it was really nice We could have literally stayed there for a week with no issues

Awesome grill area, kitchen area was really nice to have, and the soaps, shampoo, conditioners, and lotions were great quality! Beds were comfy and it was super clean Would recommend to anyone! Also location was great… Not to far from anything!

pngatlin

Dirty and Disgusting! If you decide to stay here, check your pull sofa and beds We found vomit that hadn’t been cleaned by janitorial staff The receptionist was great and very sympathetic, but hotel was fully booked even though website indicates otherwise

The manager would not accommodate our request to be moved to another hotel in the same IHG group Save your money and look elsewhere Very disappointed with this hotel! Would rate it 05 stars if possible I can’t believe we paid $226 for this and they couldn’t accommodate my 4 person family

The resort itself was wonderful The room was clean and beautiful The restaurants and bars had great drinks and food! There’s a buffet on the weekends and a menu during the week

It is a beach front property with beautiful views There’s plenty of outdoor activities to do at the resort along with a heated pool and hot tub for during off season! A bonus was being able to check in 2 hours early! The boardwalk with restaurants and shops is right next door! Definitely in a great location! The only problem I had during my stay was some of the staff was rude and when I checked in, I wasn’t informed of anything (breakfast area, times, restaurant times, happy hour, and activities) I had purchased breakfast for each day and did not know we needed coupons or that they were worth $20 per person until we went to the restaurant got our food and was informed of the processOverall the stay was great and would come back again

Colin Pear

We had an outstanding experience The rooms were fantastic They were clean, and comfortable

They even had hardwood floorsThe location was great and perfectly located near lots of great places to eat and easy to find entertainmentOn-site there were plenty of things to do Live music, DJ’s, food, and gift shop The beach was just right there A very short walk from the back of the hotel The kids loved swimming at the beach And when they were done with that we switched to the heated pool That was nice because the wife and I swam up to that grotto bar and got drinksLast I would have to say that the service was great All of the staff we met around the resort were just honestly friendly The management took really good care of us when we had an issue with our reservation, so they actually comped us a second room for our entire stay! Who does that?We can’t wait to come back

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Swim up bar !! 10 foot pool!!!Easy beach access!! We had 2 rooms here One was pretty good Typical motel type room but nice

Our other room over looking the pool was way more modern and very nice!!! Food and service were excellent!! Alsolots of family activities all day if you want to entertain the kids

I hated to give this place 3 stars but we stayed here twice and it was like night and day The first night our room was dirty Also the employee that put the breakfast out was rude and one of the people working the front desk was also not very friendly

The second time the room was perfect and the two young men working the desk were very nice A lady with blonde hair putting the breakfast out was so nice She said good morning to me and also offered me a tray to be able to take mine and my husband’s food to my room Great customer service second day

This was the best family vacation spot We loved the spacious rooms and the layout of our 3 bed 3 bath Perfect size for a family & overall a very nice condo

Guest services were very quick to respond and take care of anything we needed Harbor walk is really cool for the kiddos and the views of crab island are amazing The private beach shuttle is very nice, they provide chairs, umbrellas & towels and their is a bathroom on the boatVery easy access to get picked up at by a boat if you know someone that lives nearby The firework show on Thursday was the best firework show I have ever seen and we had the best view of them at the pool I will definitely be back here!

Mitchell Freeman

The overall experience is absolutely amazing Easy access to everything and the kids love it The rooms are kinda small

You can hear EVERYTHING in the bathroom (hope you aren’t shy) The air show and fireworks on Thursday were awesome If I had a major complaint it would be the parking We always found a space but plan for your car to get a few dings The spaces are tight and the garage is always overly packed Entry and exit to the resort is tricky and always busy Overall great experience and I would definitely recommend

Amy Schumacher

Location is nice, hotel very confusing to navigate every day we would be in the elevator with someone who had gotten lost an their own hotel

a map would be good so the private beach, water was nice, shuttle drivers good, but NO BATHROOM!!!! Pool is small for the size of resortlocation on Harbor is convenient, but having coyote ugly across the parking lot made sleeping tough, they played music until after 3am every nighttough to sleep…was at the fitness center and was not allowed to use the restroom on the same floor, spa guests only

I normally stay at the Marriott wherever I go as I am a Marriott Rewards member This hotel has an unbearable stench Our first room we checked into was 226

As we walked to the hotel room we could smell it in the hall and became even stronger as we entered the room We then complained to the front desk and they switched rooms Still the same smell Something is off I’m not sure what But maybe the carpet We end up telling the cleaning lady and she agreed that she smelled it to And came to try and spray the carpet I guess because she felt bad But the smell is throughout the hotel in many areas so that won’t help We stayed away from the hotel throughout the day to avoid the smell as it was uncomfortable I stayed at his hotel some years ago and it did not have this smell and my stay was pleasant I would like to come back when it’s up to standards Only because I like this particular area for the beach But I will not be returning unless this is addressed The staff was at least friendly though In addition to that We spent $60 on breakfast for microwaved bacon, and terribly cooked powered eggs The potatoes were ok What makes this terrible is I was excited to stay here based on my last stay and I did not have anywhere else to go after driving 6 hours from Georgia We arrived at night and was extremely tired

Good location but bad service The front desk guy is emotionless and cold When you go to the front desk, that guy just stares at you blankly and responds in whisper

You would have had a better service at a Motel 6 (The other girl is great though If you really gonna stay here, I’d avoid that guy at all costs even if it’s gonna take more time)Guaranteed 4 pm late check out is supposed to be offered as an earned benefit for Titanium member but he refused to honor it even if it is against the T&C of the loyalty program
