Fairly good location and very close to belden village if you are there for shopping or for the airport or the Hall of fame Lot of road construction going on north of there which makes it not as convenient for events in Akron or cleveland Room was very clean

Bed comfortable Water pressure very good Microwave and refrigerator Adequate TV with channel selections Good toiletries and towels Breakfast was just average with the usual eggs sausage some yogurt Could have used a little more fruit and non packaged bakery items The biggest complaint is the room temperature When the AC was running things were pretty cold but when it stopped they seemed to get warm in a hurry A little quieter than most hotels of this ilk I would definitely stay there again

As a Marriot Bonvoy Member, I am not super impressed with this hotel We arrived at 11:30pm and there were noises all over the place We could hear all of our neighbors and didn’t get to sleep until about 4am

And then right at 6am, they started packing and all you heard was the banging of drawersOn top of this, the water flow was super slow and there was only super hot or ice cold Not much for a shower And our room thermostat was broken, so we slept in a tundra until it magically started working around 7amFood was alright except the hard boiled eggs turned out to be bad unfortunatelyI do want to mention though that the service was super nice and they did try to fix the issues, but they could not fix the noisey neighbors and that is really no fault of theirsPlease be cautious when staying Bring noise cancelling headphones and your own food

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, and the rooms are great Our room was very clean and large, and the bed was incredibly comfortable The complimentary breakfast in the morning is okay, nothing amazing but definitely not bad and the fact that it’s included is nice

I would definitely stay here again I don’t have a single complaint

This should be the flagship for the brand The room I had this year was so nicely arranged – a sitting area with a small sectional, a half wall divider between it and the 2 queens There is a closet, luggage bench, desk, as well as a coffee nook with a fridge

It is located next to Hartville Kitchen, and 2 buildings from the Hartville Hardware store Which is, by the way, worth a visit! Anything you could want, it there Including a model house! So definitely will be back

Had a quick stay at this Hilton on the way to another city Overall the hotel is nice with well kept grounds, nice lobby etc My only problem with them was noticed mold in the shower after unpacking our luggage

Not sure how a cleaning crew could miss this or consider this “ok” Told the front desk and was offered a different room but just didn’t want to repack to move again so kept the room Just wish they wouldn’t consider this good for a customer

BobSue

The shower in the king suite is the only thing that I can say the sucked It was a wheel chair one The water soaked the bathroom floor in front of the toilet and the shower head while on a hose was not adjustable once placed on the wall

I was either getting fit in the face or it was over my head Mind you I tried this standing and sitting on the build in Bench The experience on the bench was awful I would be very annoyed if I had to use that bench They really should take a look at that I think of you got a holder or head that adjusts up and down would be a tremendous improvement The Jacuzzi was AWESOME! Service was great! Breakfast was good The bed, pillows and the towels I must say were AMAZING!!! Very well kept clean Over all one of the be see t in the area!

Mos Pro

The location is right off the highway & yes you can hear the traffic During our stay here there was all kinds of kids at midnight being unruly & the fire alarm was pulled in the middle of the day I wouldn’t recommend the room service, you’re better off ordering from Uber eats

The rooms were not thoroughly cleaned, I thought the beds were decent but the men on our trip slept horrible in them The best part of my stay was the outside area by the pool, it’s south facing & gets all day sun (if you’re into that sort of thing) If you need something in a pinch then I’d recommend staying here

Excellent hotel! Every hotel needs a Cece! She was amazing and turned my frown upside down when we checked in, considering we booked online in the wrong location by accident Everything was top notch here Our room was immaculate and well appointed

Tons of great restaurants withn a couple milessteak house, seafood, hibachi, etc Others left negative breakfast reviews but our experience was completely opposite The food was delicious, omelets, sausage, French toast sticks, waffles, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit and cereal not to mention juice, tea and great coffee We went down around 9:30 and the cook was just bringing out more eggs and food, making sure the guests had plenty to choose from Checkout was great, made even better by Cece and some great conversation to start our day and trip home Highly recommend staying at this location

Ms. G

My room had the potential to be great But, the bed was right next to someone else’s toileting so every time someone needed to use the bathroom it sounded like it was right next to my head and I heard all the water coming down Interrupted my sleep too

They need to fix thatBut overall it was a very nice hotel in a very good location

Rich Campbell

Hey! This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! First: the shower was covered in dog hair 🙂 then, I’m positive there was a bed bug in it (don’t worry, it was dead Second of all, there were FIVE wooden clothes hangers tucked UNDER the sheet of the bed we were supposed to sleep in Does this not sound desirable enough? Second of all, the amazing employees of this establishment left not only the used wet towel of the previous guests, but they also left the delicious-scented USED bar of soap from the previous guests in our room

Our room number was 318 and I would actually demand a full refund if I want staying at the Scary-Ott hotel Please, never visit Akron, Ohio, or any Marriott Hotel, for that matter

It was such a warm and welcoming experience at Berrodin Bed & Breakfast The home was comfortable, super clean, quiet and convenient Louie was such a gracious and accommodating host, and we lacked for nothing

Louie is such a kind and gracious man, he made us feel like we’ve known each other for years even though this was our first visit ever I recommend travelers stay here over any other accommodations in the area Thank you Louie, for such an awesome stay!

Phil Seguin

Louie was great Excellent communication and very accommodating I stayed while riding the Ohio to Erie Trail

Louie met me at check in with a Gatorade and a safe place to store my bike He gave me a thorough tour of the Bed and Breakfast and its amenities The rooms were all very clean and comfortable Louie offered great suggestions for dinner and local entertainment and even offered to give me a ride to dinner

Me Myself

We booked our room at Louie’s bed and breakfast on very short notice Louie was a most gracioushost who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable The room was spotlessly clean and there were chocolates and mints for us to enjoy

The B&B is located on a lovely residential street in the center of a picturesque neighborhood Excellent restaurants, Walmart, a movie theater, and a health food store are all in walking distance My son and I had dinner at the “Mustard Seed” and were duly impressed! They offered excellent food, live music and a great atmosphere! As breakfast is included in the more than reasonable price, Louie invited us to help ourselves to hot drinks and a continental breakfast in the morning (I have never seen a more modern kitchen in my life!) In the evening he invited us to hang out in the living room and watch a movie He took time to chat and make sure we had everything we neededShould we ever come to Akron again, we will certainly stay at the Berrodin B&B! Thanks Louie!

First and foremost I want to recognize the staff Scott and DJ for being accommodating and very friendly Unfortunately this was the only good thing about our very short stay hereUpon arrival everything seemed clean and well-kept, but there had been a power outage the night before and the key card machine was not working, meaning we had to be escorted to our rooms each time we entered

The gym was also locked and I had to be escorted there Inside there was zero air circulation and it felt like a sauna inside I didn’t personally mind it for a 30-minute workout but it seemed unsafe long-termWhen I returned from the gym we decided to check the room for bed bugs, which I usually do as a precaution Unfortunately we found a bug that seemed to be a bed bugWe immediately told the manager Scott and he was extremely apologetic, which was nice but we decided to leave anyhowI will reiterate here that the staff were friendly, professional, and met all of our requests Unfortunately the facilities just did not meet our standards

Bryan Wright

The staff was fantastic and friendly The breakfast was good They had a lot of options and the warm cinnamon buns were amazing

The room was dirty The chair in the room had visible stains and was so gross that my arms actually would stick to the chair when I sat The bed skirt had gross stains on it The building was not very sound proof There were several guys above us having a good time, which is okay with me, but it lasted into 2am and at times we could actually hear their conversation Needless to say we didn’t get much rest

David Miller

The staff was friendly & welcoming, with smiles on their face! The room was very nice & the bed very comfy! I got a good night’s sleep! There wasn’t any 110 receptacles near the bed though I had to move a lamp over onto the night stand so I could plug my phone in while using itI’ve run into this situation before at a few Holiday Inns

I stay in 12 diff Holiday Inns a monthThis one had a hot breakfast with plenty of bacon!I drive a box truck There was plenty of parking for it

Nice hotel! We had an issue upon arrival that front desk staff quickly and politely fixed Comfortable bed, nice spa tub, shower that actually drains

worth the price paid My only issue was in room 103 a bright light shines directly into the window which made sleep somewhat difficult but it was manageable A few high traffic spots were dirty including handles and TV remote but overall it was nice and I’d come back for sure!

Two weeks stay at this hotel and I must say it was a great two weeks Staff is awesome and rooms are very cleanManager Ann went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed for the conference room meetings each day

Kerrie was always a bright face at breakfast each morning, and she always had breakfast ready each morning, and kept the conference room stocked each dayAlexandra was very nice & cheerful and went out of her way to ensure a comfortable stayAll future trips to the Cleveland area, the Fairfield Streetsboro will be my go-to place to stayI am a Lifetime Platinum Elite member and this Marriott property ranks as one of the best overall stays

Hotel has/is undergoing renovation/modernization since I last stayed here about a year ago Carpets and flooring were obviously new and the bathroom remodel was great, clean and spacious Breakfast was meh

But that’s a perk, not the reason we stayed overnight Very friendly staff Even when my mother told them her key wasn’t working and it turned out she was just trying to get in the wrong room The signage to get to the hotel could be better but it was a great stay

Very happy with this hotel, the reason why I give it 5 stars is because of the staff The staff has been great and very accommodating, everyone is really pleasant and so nice The rooms are clean, the bistro is good, the laundry is easy to use, they have a pool and a hot tub

It’s a quiet hotel in a convenient location Close to the national park and Akron

Wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here!!!… the rooms are not sanitized properly! They were using the same dirty toilet bowl cleaning cloth to clean everything with pee remaining on the cloth the rooms that was inspected by inspector Jasmine the toilets were still dirty and black inside the toilet rim You can smell the urine as you enter the room I over heard a cook laugh about how they spitted in a stay over resident food & coffee for Complaining too much

they never have enough linen!!! so they use the same dirty cleaning linen they use for bathrooms and dirty sinks pre wash them and hang them as if their are fresh hand towels and washing towels They never wash their comforter just the sheets They try to hide the fact that they have bed bugs!!! Housekeeping spray rubbingAlcohol on the comforter Before resident stay over The head manager is very rude & treats new employees disrespectfully when expressing concerns they team up on you the head manager Steve & Inspector Jasmine!! giving the new employees a hard time to adjust & showing favoritism giving the new employees rooms to strip on every floor and the employees that been there for awhile floors to strip on one floor Which makes you stay longer living at six O’clock when the clock out timing was supposed to be at 2:30pm their very unprofessional talks about every resident that stays over in the hallways Do yourself a favor and SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! It looks cool on the outside but on the inside it’s Unsanitized & unorganized behind the scenes!! you should go where the atmosphere feels loving clean & comfortable no matter the circumstances If this hotel popped up in your search bar DONT DO It!!! The amount of disrespect isn’t worth your hard earn money choose better for you & your family or Acquaintance 😊

Planning a wedding? Go anywhere else!If you come in contact with David, customer service extraordinaire – run! This hotel entices brides-to-be with offers too good to be true as they want these brides to book a block of rooms with them by making promises of a free wedding suite and a free shuttle to and from the event in an effort to get their guests business Extra hours can be purchased but don’t expect the bus to show up! they decide when the shuttle arrives forcing guests to leave the wedding an hour early or be stranded When the bus driver allowed me to talk to the dispatcher on his own phone about this mistake, they promised to be back at the actual end time so they didn’t have to have all the guests leave the event early

This was nice to hear and I went back in to enjoy the wedding 11 pm rolled around and you probably guessed it, the dispatcher lied and the shuttle did not come back! I know because I was waiting at the door a few minutes before 11! Myself and many guests had to scramble to find rides from a venue that’s in the middle of the cvnp yea not many Ubers out that way! When I finally returned to the hotel, I saw David hotel employee being beyond rude to the bride absolutely ruining her wedding night and embarrassing her in front of her guests It’s appalling how he spoke to her and I can’t believe he has a job in customer service since he had no intentions of providing good service or trying to help her, his attitude obviously got the best of him and he should have been fired on the spot for how immature and unprofessional he acted This poor couple got douped by the Marriott and it’s a wedding night they will always remember But at least Marriott conned them ahead of time since they got plenty of their guests business !!! I will be canceling my bonvoy membership, credit card and sharing this story with anyone I know!

Staff was great upon entrance and exit, very accommodating The room was extremely clean, new & updated The temperature in the room was easy to control and worked great

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and soft The breakfast was wonderful Nice looking pool, though I didn’t go inSome things that weren’t ideal but didn’t affect how many stars I felt I should give due to overall experience:The fitness center is a tiny box of a room with little equipmentThe guests were all assigned rooms very close to each other so you could hear guest talking, doors closing, and alarms/wake up calls going off early in the morning through the wallsOverall my stay was very comfortable

Georgiana Mejia-Klem

Great experience overall! Kim, the general manager, was super helpful and went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional She upgraded our room due to the larger group size, recommended nearby restaurants and activities to do plus helped us enlist in the IHG rewards system The breakfast exceeded our expectations too

The only reason why we aren’t giving our stay a 5 star experience is because during our 3 day trip, our room wasn’t cleaned even when we requested this Fresh towels and trash takeout was provided every day Overall, it was a nice stay! Thank you Kim and the dinning team 🙂

Really bad experience all around We booked this hotel for a wedding weekend and spent thousands of dollars here Got to the hotel at 5pm and the room was not ready and had to wait in my car the night before my wedding for half an hour for them to get a room ready for me

The woman at the front desk and a manager that was there at the time did try to help and speed things along which I appreciatedThe hotel recommended a suite to get ready in the day of and the photos shown at booking did not look anything like the rooms we were given and were really small and crampedWe booked a conference room to use as a hospitality room from 11pm to 2am after our wedding ended but were told the night before our wedding that we could no longer use the room for that time They instead referred us to the hotel next door (which was actually really nice and the bartender there was really kind and helpful)Our entire wedding party was supposed to have a late checkout the day after the wedding but we were greeted with an angry and rude phone call from someone named Ashley at 11:15 saying we needed to leave and that our late checkout was no longer being honored Even after explaining to her that we booked a block for a wedding and had a 1pm checkout, she was still incredibly rude and insinuated that we were lying We spoke with other members of the bridal party as we were leaving that had even called the night before to make sure they still had a late checkout that were told yes, but they were also called and later told they no longer had a late checkoutIf you are thinking of using this hotel for a wedding block, definitely look elsewhere This was such an unorganized experience and caused us so much unneeded stress

We pulled in with our 39 foot Motor Coach and no one there was the slightest concerned They said it was no problem at all When I said we would be completely unloading it and putting everything into storage, they said no problem

When our room was overlooking the highway so very noisy, she moved us to the back side overlooking our coach When we needed to leave it there an extra day to continue unloading it before we turned it in for some repairs, he said not a problem Both the day and night desk people were so helpful and pleasant On top of that, the room was nice and clean I highly recommend the staff and facility

Melissa DelBoccio

I love eating here The chef is amazing

Everything I order is always delicious, seasoned perfectly, and perfect temperature A few times I’ve asked to speak with him and he’s been so kind and has great manners You should offer to go orders just with his food Even if we don’t stay at the hotel, cuz his food is the best! The rooms are what you’d expect for a Holiday In but are nice I wish you’d be able to go outside on the balcony on the 4th floor but I understand whyAlso, it would’ve nice to have an indoor pool but the outdoor pool is super niceThe staff is very sweet and I’d definitely come back

Roxanne Cross

Decent hotel, gives me an outdated vibe Somethings looked old, especially the furniture in the rooms and my room smelled funny I also hated the shower only has one door so the floor was getting really wet

Loved they had a pool, it’s outdoor but still pretty nice The clerk was super helpful in helping us navigate the area Overall I would go back if I needed a hotel in the area again

Ed Noschese

No real complaints about this hotel I was surprised by the comfortable beds and how friendly the staff were The pool area and outside patio were exceptionally nice

Especially on summer nights The rooms were clean There is is the lack of housecleaning and blaming it on Covid and they will give you extra towels at the front desk The gym is something to be desired – the elliptical and bike made a horrible noise Leaving you only with the treadmill So there may be a waitOther than that it’s a nice facility

Amy DeKeyser

If you want a peaceful night’s sleep don’t stay here because the Bar and Restaurant next door will keep you up after midnight Even calling the front desk, they tell you it stops by11pm but it’s 11:50pm and it’s still too loud with a base The police department will tell you that the bar and restaurant may be exempt from the noise ordinance

and the music goes on til midnight Mold in the shower as wellFront desk claims they don’t have a room to switch us to on the other side of the hotel This is highly ridiculous!!!

Roy Murphy

Okay you say the water is city water that’s fine So I don’t know why the water smelled bad Go to that room and run the hot water in the sink And It will smell bad I feel my having to skip a shower my last night there because of the smelly water made my room not worth the high price I paid to stay there are all paying almost 200 dollars per night

This rate is not a cheap motel price and we should not have had this unusual problem but we’re did for sure even causing us to skip taking a shower out last night there in August 6 2022
