Stayed here recently for a few nights on the eclipse weekendWe were called on the way in by the front desk just as a courtesy to let us know that our room was ready When we arrived, the lady at the front desk was cheerful and got us checked in quickly and answered some questions we had about the area

The room was clean This is an older hotel, but the room didn’t feel completely run down or neglected at all There’s an ac, a small fridge, a microwave and coffee pot in the room The bed was comfortable and it was really nice to be able to park right in front of our room It’s a short distance from downtown Ashland and honestly you can’t beat their price Our coffee pot broke during our visit, just wouldn’t brew coffee, and when we returned to our room later that day it had been replaced This isn’t a 5 star hotel, but, it’s well priced and exceeds any expectation we had for how low cost it was To be honest I was a little worried at first, but after arriving and actually getting in the room I was pleased with my decision Thank you Manor Hotel!

Jay Chalmers

Very nice hidden oasis of relaxation Tucked away from the busy congestion of Downtown ashland, but close enough to still enjoy the attractions The room was spotless and welcoming

An amazing value for the money All starts with the friendly front desk and finishes with a comfortable night sleep Highly recommended for a night stay or a weekend trip Dog friendly which is important for our travels Do yourself a favor and check this place out

Hotel is interesting and in incredible shape with consistent themes We were on the eighth floor with wide views and with exception of occasional road noise it was very quiet The grounds are beautiful and something interesting is always waiting to be discovered

The location made it easy to wonder around town on foot Breakfast was nice Room service was available (though Larks was very underwhelming) The staff are thoroughly impressive I could spend a great deal of time here

Sulekha Alath

Wonderful location, interesting history, great service, gracious and helpful staff I love the decor, especially the lobby, full of natural light, the cozy fire place a great place to hang out of a crisp evening and several other tastefully decorated nooks for reading or a good conversation with a friendly doggie at your feet This hotel is dog friendly

Complementary breakfast is well balanced, substantial and a very convenient plus; you can enjoy it sitting in the gallery mezzanine level overlooking the lobby The Queen Petite room is just enough for 1 person The bathroom could use a towel rail/ ring near the washbasin and shower, there are no options to hang towels where you need them in these areas There are no easily accessible power outlets in the room There is a coffee maker but to use it I had to scout for an outlet and heave the dresser aside to access the only outlet I could find – behind it! Same issue for charging my phone I highly recommend this hotel

Henry Hon Woo

If you’re into history and architecture or just good old stories you have to go visit this beautiful well kept hotel! We just grab a cup of coffee from the hotel restaurant on the ground floor and hung out in the lobby for a bit Was trying to be discreet didnt want to disturb the guests there Really in love with those extended ceiling fans… the spring blossom center piece was a very timely nice touch! There are many many historic buildings in the United States and it is good to know some are very well protected and taken care of! 🥳🥳👍👍

Farmers for Truth (Big Al)

This motel is small but definitely awesome for a nice getaway weekend The rooms were nice and clean but on the older side The room key was an actual key with Keychain which I truly love because your phone won’t erase an actual key like it does the key cards

The office upon check in had a pleasant freshly brewed coffee smell which was delightful Check in was fast This motel is right by a Great American Pizza company which was super delicious and I highly recommend Back to the room the bed was super soft I prefer firm but I slept well Room windows open and that’s a plus to have a nice breeze come through Only issue was the ac in room 206 was weak That is my only complaint about our stay Friendly staff They also do a basic breakfast with coffee fruit and English muffins Definitely a quite place to stay Great surroundings with other restaurants, stores and accommodations close by I highly recommend Timbers Motel

Seeker of The Dragons

So back in August I took a long road trip on my own for the first time from California to Washington State When getting to the Motel, I found out I had forgotten my ID at home The owner helped me with that situation and got me into the room

After that I had decided to park my car closer to my room, my right front passenger tire exploded, this happened at 12am I didn’t want to worry about it because it was late Found out I had also forgotten my power box for my phone, and one of the folks who was staying let me borrow his power bank for the night The following morning, which I’m still grateful for all their help The owner and his employee helped me change to my spare and his employee called several different locations for me to find the cheapest option for a new tire I’m not sure if y’all see this review or remember me but I thank you to the bottom of my heart for your kindness and care Truly- Christian S

Have had good experiences in the past for special occasion visits and food was really good Haven’t been in a few years so decided to go for Easter Brunch at $3999 per person

Walked in and staff looked stressed and confused We were seated at a dirty table and it took awhile to get a server to notice us She was pleasant and we made our way to the buffet What a disaster Undercooked bacon, the quiche was liquid, and they ran out of prime rib so they said to come back I got a pancake but there was no syrup or butter to be found By this time we had plates of food but I wasn’t impressed Returned to our table to discover everything was cold In the meantime my husband made his was to the prime rib and returned with a piece that looked like it had never been in the oven We looked at each other and said ” I don’t feel like getting a case of food poisoning is on our list of things to do today”, so we picked up our things and left You are a restaurant and you serve food like that? We were told by friends that there was new ownership and they had a bad experience recently We should have heeded their warning Sadly we won’t be returning

Igor Bronshteyn

What a charming hotelGreat service, big clean rooms, fireplace, fridge and a jetted tub in the room We also had a balcony overlooking outside dining area

Good food in their restaurant also, fairly priced with great serviceOhand they have a fully stocked game room and a gym, too!A bit of a drive to downtown Ashland (11 miles) but it all depends why you are here anywaysWe’ll be back!

Elyse Douglas

I wanted to love this place but the air conditioner was so obnoxiously loud that we could not sleep well The mattress was too soft for a tummy sleeper The freeway was much too close for my taste

Something we should have researched better, so it’s on us The room was clean The restaurant food was pretty good but a bit pricey So we left a day early

The decor was a bit dated But the room was very large Had very comfortable beds and two types of pillows on the bed

Firm or soft Our room had a nice table and chairs for our in room meals The continental breakfast was very good and had a variety of hot and cold food options They offered small paper bags for us to pack our meal and take it back to our room The in house restaurant had food and the flavors were spot on

My spouse and I visited for Valentines Day weekend, and had a truly wonderful time The lodge is clean and well kept, noise from other rooms was muted, and the jacuzzi is wonderful and private The small trail system in the lodge was perfect for a morning walk, and we really appreciated the dog friendly atmosphere (though ours was the only dog we saw)

The on-site restaurant, Cocorico, really took the visit from great to fantastic

Marcus Harikian

The only reason I’m giving this one star is because the listing on the travel agency site stated it had a kitchen I was staying there five nights which meant I needed to have food to cook since Ashland is about 30 plus minutes from the inn and cabins When I arrived there was only a microwave and a mini fridge/freezer

That is not a kitchen The on-site restaurant was closed until March 1st, which they made me aware of so no problems there which is why I brought all of my food, and there is a small Cafe about four and a half miles up the road but during this time it’s a little tricky with the weather getting up and down those hills No other options were available such as a working BBQ So I was stuck and ended up staying one night and reserving a room in Ashland itself and staying there I’m very disappointed at the misleading filters and information provided The room was clean, the finishes nice and for the one night I stayed the bed was comfortable They apologized stating they don’t list their property through my travel agency, but took my money anyway which was non-refundable Go figure

This resort and BookStayHop worked together to help me surprise my fiancée for our 6 year anniversary They setup everything exactly like I wantedWe stayed at the #1E Boccard Point cabin for two nights

This is a one-bedroom cabin and it was perfect for a getaway! The cabin was very clean and had everything you could need The kitchen is fully equipped The iron stove had everything you would need to get a fire started and keep it going The hot tub on the 2nd story porch was the best part! The water gets plenty hot enough and looks over a forest/mountain It’s so peaceful to just sit out thereThe first night we stayed there, we ordered room service because it was a night the restaurant wasn’t open I’m pretty sure Cocorico (the restaurant at this resort) makes the room service food, but I could be wrong The lasagna we ate was probably the best lasagna I’ve ever had The 2nd night we were actually able to dine at the restaurant They have a small menu, but it covers a lot of bases The carbonara was seriously delicious, and I know my fiancée loved her steak and potatoes They also have a full bar Everything we ate was really good and the staff were so friendly!Overall I would rate this resort a 10/10 We will definitely be coming back! At the very least, my fiancée and I will make a yearly tradition of staying at the Boccard Point cabin and eating at the Cocorico restaurant!

I didn’t take any pictures, but the place is super nice It’s not a new hotel, but they’ve put in a ton of effort to keep the place looking great Very clean

Friendly staff We stayed in a suite, so there was a kitchenette, full fridge, tiny cooking range Lots of outlets Comfy beds Lots of seating The parking lot was very well lit Close to several restaurants, Costco, & a grocery store Nothing within walking distance, but 6 mins by car Grub hub delivers and there are snacks for purchase in the hotel And a great price We’ll definitely stay there again

Mike Nabers

Watch out when calling national number about park and fly My wife and I double confirmed that the rate we paid included park and fly for our trip This is standard practice for us as we fly often out of Medford airport and never had this problem at other hotels

Beware if you book park and fly online with “included” rate, it will cost you an extra $30 once you arrive

A really nice and comfortable place to stay in Ashland, Oregon Minutes from the beautiful Downtown area, a Food Co-Op, the Shakespeare Festival, a HotSprings Spa, the gorgeous Lithia Park, and the best restaurants and shopping in all of Southern OregonMatt (the manger) is welcoming, and friendly and keeps the place well stocked with exotic teas, coffees and spices for everyone to use

I especially enjoyed congregating in the massive kitchen to make meals and to meet new friends Nightly rates are affordable, and you can choose between common area bunks and private roomsI had an incredible time here and I highly recommended this The Ashland Commons to anyone! Thanks again Matt, Candy, and Chris

Catherine Griffin

This place was excellent! It was very clean and well maintained The only thing I would change is the carpet in the rooms (rip it out and put laminate down) and only because it’s much cleanerStaff is friendly and check in was quick and easy

Beds were comfy and everything worked (cooler, fridge, shower, TV/remote) Pool looked great, though it’s fire season and we didn’t use it due to ash and smoke, and the on-site gym was clean and had good equipment Parking was easy and safe We’ll definitely stay again

PeterSu Copley

I love this Best Western! It is perfectly located close to the highway without the highway sounds The rooms are clean and don’t smell like chemicals Plenty of space in the rooms and bathrooms and there is a large swimming pool outside with a12 person hot tub

The free breakfast is open from 6:30-9:30 and has an abundance of choices The desk help were very friendly and accommodating I will definitely be staying here again

Jessica Merczak

Pet-friendly with shockingly nice grounds and plenty of outdoor seating Rooms have basic necessities despite being small Bathroom design is one I personally really dislike, where there is no sink with the toilet, and instead has a separate sink

Beds were squeaky, but not uncomfortable in a way that won’t let you sleep Rooms don’t have much in the way of sound proofing, but thankfully the neighbors weren’t loudPros: decent location, able to bring your dog, nice grounds, friendly staff, clean rooms, comes with breakfastCons: priced like a hotel A nice motel, but still a motel

Nice room overlooking park (could Hear the stream, couldn’t See it & only after the event next door was over, around 2 am) )with balcony, right Next to the restaurant next door which got noisy with some kind of special event TV had bad reception & selection If we came there again, we’d make sure we had a room further from the restaurant! A great place within walking distance of all the downtown action

Kudos to Molly at the front desk, who seems unflappable & sincerely sweet and caring! 🤗👍

Keith

The reason I am giving Plaza Inn 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the breakfast The room was great The staff was helpful and professional

Location is great as it’s just a 5 minute walk to the plays The breakfast however is shabby at best You could easily purchase the same breakfast at a gas station Small packaged pastries, peeled hard boiled eggs that were packaged in Minnesota, tasteless bagels Really, if you’re not going to provide proper food, then don’t advertise that you provide breakfast It’s insulting The second morning of our stay we skipped the hotel breakfast and ate at a nearby cafe I don’t think we would stay here again

Jessica Pedigo

Beware, this hotel will charge you more than what they are advertising and will not respond to calls or emails to resolve the issue I stayed here January 1-3rd, the advertised price was $149 per night I was charged $249 per night, but didn’t realize the mistake until I was back home

I have called numerous times and left messages, I have emailed the manager with no response I have reported this business to the Better Business Bureau and am still waiting for a resolutionAs far as the room – the decor is ok We found a dirty towel behind the door and a raisin in one of the chairs, which tells me they are not as thorough as they should be with their cleaning The staff was friendly and helpfulIf this company returns my call and refunds what they overcharged me, I will update my review Until then, buyer beware

Very nice and spacious room at a reasonable price The breakfast (microwavable egg + cheese + ham on an English muffin) was fine, but you had to get it from the front desk, and we went down to get it 3 or 4 times and there was nobody there Lots of guests milling about just like us

Suggest making it easier for guests to get the breakfast

Front desk staff was great! The room was not, the bed sheets had stains and made me itchThere was a hole in the ceiling above the shower, and someone slid my receipt under my door at 5 am waking me upI did not feel comfortable staying, and would have left after checking in if not for the weather

What a jewel!! The attention to detail is a reflection of the attentive staff From delicious locally roasted coffees and mid century furnishings everything was well thought out for an extremely cozy stay The Gardens were beautiful and our dog felt like royalty, with her own bed and treats on her pillow

We have been traveling for three week and the Palms was the first hotel I can truly say I would recommend and enjoyed We changed our reservation and stayed an extra night The room was clean and not overly perfumedI highly recommend staying at the Palms!

Easy sweet place! Spotless with the nicest touches of great soap, moisturizer The bed and pillows perfect for a great night’s sleep The Palm is small with individual units but they also offer a house for a bigger group or just more space

Their pool area is wonderful too Cabanas for the day if you want one! Staff is fantastic and ready to help Beautiful grounds, lovely experience at The Palm
