My overall stay was good The first day there, I experienced an issue at check-in which was quickly corrected by management I appreciate Management’s promptness to correct the issues

Breakfast is a free buffet with an array of good, hot, tasty options The room is small but the water is hot and the bed and pillows were very comfortable The AC is very loud and made the stay less desirable The refrigerator was also loud and the rooms heat would not exceed 78 on the thermostat I’m anemic and Orlando experienced some cold weather when I visited but I could only heat the room up to 78, which felt more like heat of 68 Some of the staff were pleasant but others seemed like they didn’t want to be there A lot of the staff did not speak English; especially housekeeping, which made it a bit more difficult to explain what was needed for the room All in all, we had a nice stay

James Long

The location is great and only a 30 minute walk to Universal Studios The staff is very friendly and they go out of their way to help you The rooms are perfect for 2 people and I noticed nothing in the room that was out of place

The AC is cold and I promise you in this heat it great! Huge breakfast in the morning and just great people I’m sure if you wanted to nip pick you could, but the price is spot on and worth it They treat you like family I can’t wait to go back!

Clean hotel, nice staff, rooms were well sized Close to the water park but far enough from downtown and the tourist areas The AC worked really well but the blinds broke in our room that evening and no one was able to fix it until the next day (our check out day)

It was hard to sleep with the light shining in the room Overall decent stay for the price and would stay there again if we had things to do in that area

Rochelle Stillman

Bit disappointed No information on room cleaning which we found out only happens if you request and we’ll be here more than a week No place to hang a towel, no concierge that AAA said would help plan what to do, has to ask twice to get a box of tissue, a couple of blocks from the better location and it’s hot walking to the bus

That’s after just 2 days here the staff is quite pleasant, so that helps

I have a Titanium Elite status with Marriott and I travel a lot for work I would like to share my worst experience in staying at Four Points By Sheraton Orlando Convention Center I still cannot believe that this happened at Marriott which has such high standards

Story: We were asked to change room in middle of the night with my two young daughters and wife (as Air Conditioner was not working) Since, it was late, we kept a few bags in the old room and decided to pick them in the morning Next day, I found that one of the bags with kids eatables and other personal stuff was missing from the old room First, the room service manager (lady) was so rude and unprofessional, she argued that there was no bag When I insisted that there was a bag, they went and tried to find it in the property Finally, in a hour they found the bag with half of the stuff not there Most of the other eatable packets were opened There were other stuff that did not belong to us eg pork strips etc (we are pure vegetarian) It looked like they got the bag from the gutter I had no other option but to throw the entire bag as it was unhygienic and most of the stuff was missing This is horrible and not acceptable from Marriott Serious action needs to be taken against the Hotel StaffOn top of it, I have already placed multiple complaints on Marriott Customer care for the hotel but in vain Even though I am told every time that they are trying to escalate, nothing happens This show that the hotel staff (manager) is very negligentI would recommend not to stay in this hotel ever!!The process looks stupid if no action is taken

We stayed in October of 2018 upon arrival I was not sure what to expect but I was in for a wonderful surprise! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating We stayed for two days and staff always checked to see if we needed fresh towels or linens Our room was clean and well air conditioned

The rooms had an apartment feeling to them with a separate living room and kitchen The courtyard outside was beautifully landscaped! Walking around outside in the courtyard at night was my favorite! It was so peaceful The hotel definitely had a romantic vibe to it The location was right on point too!! Located 5 min away from downtown and right off the highway A++

We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard at Lake Lucerne It felt more like a home than a hotel, or an upscale bed and breakfast Like a world away from Orlando, but right off the Freeway, and convenient

The hotel itself is a Victorian style property, with beautiful gardens, and located right by the lake The rooms were well appointed, again, think B&B rather than your standard run of the mill hotel, and comfortable as well as charming The staff was so friendly, and check in/out was a cake walk They had a breakfast in the morning as well, but unfortunately we had to get on the road, otherwise I would have absolutely stayed for that I couldn’t get enough of this place Thanks for a wonderful stay, We’ll definitely be back!

Kitty Kat Fan Club

We had an amazing stay at the Courtyard at Lake Lucerne! Such a beautiful property, I honestly would have been happy sleeping in the garden! But seriously, the rooms were well appointed, the property was breathtaking, the house was Victorian style and just so charming Had I not been staying there with my band mates, I would say it’s very romantic Also, it should be noted, that the rooms were not only charming, but comfortable, quiet, and dark, for an extremely good night of rest and relaxation

The property was also conveniently located right off the freeway, and not too far from the airport or the city, but far enough that it didn’t feel like I was in Orlando, but somewhere far nicer Thanks for such a great stay!

We really appreciated Beverly, the inn keeper She was attentive to detail, makes an awesome breakfast and is a very interesting person to get to know Our room was spotless and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend

The front porch overlooks the lake and we enjoyed our morning coffee here while we waited for breakfast The house has beautiful wood everywhere and feels very inviting Our daughter lives in Winter Park and we were only 16 minutes away from a lot of hustle and bustle but due to the surrounding acreage and it’s wildlife designation we felt like we were in the forest We highly recommend staying here and plan to go back Thank you Beverly

Elizabeth Tosh

We loved Thurston House! Beautiful, well kept historic home that was very comfortable Beverly is a wonderful accommodating host and the breakfast was fantastic The house is very charming, clean and comfortable

Close to lots of good food and convenient for area attractions as well We’ll be returning A very special place that is a wonderful option compared to chain hotels in the area

Marilda Nunes

We loved our staying in this beautiful and historic property, every corner has attention to details We need more days here to enjoy every room of the house The little delicious cookies at reception to classical music for breakfast is such nice touch

Updated from my last review

the place is even better now that it’s an apartment complex and not a hotel anymore It’s even cleaner and the staff is still great I only have 2 issues 1 is the light in the living room area is not bright enough to illuminate the whole room so I need to by a lamp for my bed area and 2 I can’t cook bacon or pretty much anything with out the fire detector going off because it’s too close to my kitchen and there isn’t any proper ventilation to let he smoke out and leaving windows open don’t help either and leaving my door open exposes my room and my belongings Other than that I’m good here

Fatima O’riana

I have been here a month so far and it has been wonderful I moved here from up North and checked in a day after check-in and there was no late check-in fee Raquel who works at the front desk has been amazing in helping us transition

The room looks exactly as advertised It is quiet and people generally mind their business around here It’s very family oriented and my kids love to go to the front desk for candy I really don’t have anything bad to say

kat k

They were very friendly worked with me especially when I had to work doubles clean safe environment my kids could actually go outside to play it was cool Staff is awesome I got sick out of town they were very nice to my daughters gave them space didn’t harass them i was in a coma so they were out of sorts

staff was understanding and pleasant

We had an overall great experience here Each staff member we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpfulWe did receive a room upgrade because of status/points and had a fun view of Islands of Adventure from the 21st floor in room 2115

Our door lock gave us a little trouble at first, but staff wasted no time in sending an engineer to help The service here was sincerely wonderful Thank you all!I think my favorite part of the room was the comfy bed After returning from a very full day of walking 20,000 steps in the parks I woke up rested and refreshedMy only complaints are minor and didn’t affect our experience that much overall 1: the halls and rooms are a little dated and would benefit from a little sprucing up For instance our loose/broken door jam, uneven flooring under carpet, fresh paint, etc This is all minor to me, and I believe was reflected in the price 2: We weren’t told about the shuttle to the parks when we checked in, or that we needed to register ahead of time to ride it I happened to see the sign at the desk, noted the time and showed up in the morning Thankfully the kind woman running that station at the desk noticed me in the morning and helped us get on the shuttle quicklyWe’d stay again and recommend it to others for the value and location!

Jessica Brown

The location was fantastic Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us They were great

The rooms are what you would expect for the price point It was fine for the night My only complaint – The beds were very bouncy and not super supportive Some paint peeling in the bathroom But overall the room was clean and the place was quiet (we had a room on the 18th floor) so we did not hear a lot of noise

Just checked out: Overall not a bad experience but not the best The pool is small and very overcrowded Even though we were told it opens at 7, they were still cleaning it from 7-8 every morning

The activities were very mediocre and nothing my kids would be interested in I never saw housekeeping around NO FULL LENGTH MIRRORS The sheets feel scratchy and on one of the twin beds, it was made but the sheet was just flipped inside out There are no bathtubs There is no shuttle to the parks or anywhere We arrived on Saturday but the attraction desk was closed until Friday so we had to go to the lakes to buy our tickets where we didn’t really save much The restaurants food wasn’t great, the wings were burnt and the onion rings weren’t the crispy style but at least the worker was very nice It just wasn’t a high class experience esp since we are owners, I think we expected more, this is like a regular hotel so we’ll try to stay at a villa style next time But the security was very nice as well and it’s close to a lot of food

Kristen Yeager

They were super nice when we had to switch from a totally different place Super helpful when we had questions or concernsThe sheets were a little stained or something, but they came to change them shortly after I asked

The pool is small for the amount of guests, but it was never so crowded you couldn’t swim Rooms were small but worked for us

Jerrod Geretta

Amazing hotel! My family and i had a 6 night stay at the Westgate The rooms were clean, spacious and have everything you need to make short or long stays extremely comfortable The staff is super friendly and very accommodating

They have daily activities and movies for the days when you want to rest and just stay at the hotel (painting, bird house builds, bingo) Which was perfect for my antsy kids who refused to stay in the room all day The pool and pool area was clean and a good capacity for the hotel size with seating throught They even have a kiddie pool which was great for my youngest child The grills next to pool were clean and in working order The gazeebo off of their private pond with a fishing dock was something that was definitely new to me while at a hotel They even have fishing poles and tackle that you can checkout for use at the activity center What we liked most of all is the security presence around the hotel and in the parking lot We will definitely return to the Westgate Palace for our future Orlando stays

The appearance, and amenities make this place feel just barely above a motel The staff is friendly The pool and spa area is clean

The exterior felt dated but was still nice The beds themselves were comfortable I enjoyed the balcony Bonus points for it being screened in In Florida that means no bugs! The best touch about the place is they say welcome to your home away from home

Scouser1965

Needed two bedrooms for a couple of nights and this resort worked out perfectlyLarge and spacious with all the amenities that you would need while away from home Reception was friendly and room was available a couple of hours before scheduled check in

Everything was extremely clean and good sized televisions in the lounge and both bedrooms that included some movie channels Didn’t really use the pool or anything else during this particular visit but would definitely return Very convenient location also

Alicia Capozzi

First off, Tyler and the rest of the staff were incredible Friendly and accommodating! The rooms were beautiful and the grounds were, alsoA lot of families were swimming, Grilling, playing ping-pong, corn hole, tennis, basketball

Great little resortIt’s also right in front of Fun Spot America, which was an awesome place to go with the kids(or without) great arcade there and your money goes far (Groupon has a deal where you can get two or three or four attractions and Fun Spot is included It came with four rides and it was worth every penny)I love it here Thank you for being terrific We will be back
